I liked that it was close to the highway, food places and Walmart. There was hair in the shower upon our arrival. This hotel has been trying to charge my card for different amounts since before I checked in. I paid the $140.74 but I have had $120, $270 and $440 try to come out of my account. The only thing that saved me is the fact that my card is locked every day. I have talked to two people and no one seems to be able to help me. I had to cancel my card and order a new one which is very inconvenient. Who knew that a quick stay would cause so much trouble? There communication needs to improve.

The rooms could do well with some improvement. I had to change rooms because the curtains could not close. The appliances and closet doors are broken. But in the end , it's a lower end hotel, so it's okay travelling through and getting a 2 nights rest.
- 4/5
Enjoy my stay
- 3/5
This customer service was excellent. However, some of the hallway carpet and fixtures were dated. We had to put in a work order for a running toilet. Ricco was great and responded right away.

I've spent 30yrs traveling coast-to-coast for work I'm sales. Hotel amenities, cleanliness and comfort are important. This hotel needs some serious updating. The carpets in the hallways and rooms are deeply soiled and torn down the seems creating trip hazards. The doors to the closet are off track. The ceiling had wires hanging, but no Smoke / CO2 detector. Mirrors and windows are smudged with some type greasy film. The toilet seat was unattached to the bowl. The room sofa was pretty dirty as well. Rooms and hallway needs a painting upgrade. The candy, soda, water station need to be a full convience center with actual food - cold or microwave sandwiches, fruit, healthy snacks as well as an assortment of non-alcoholic drinks suit late nite arrivals. FedEx drop box in the lobby, accessible printer/fax combo and Fsst Wi-Fi for Zoom capability is needed and not that expensive. The Lobby wasn't a place to meet / greet friendly and needed upgrades too. Overall I felt it's convenient to RDU. Employees were polite.
- 4/5
This location met our needs nicely - a clean room and a cozy bed.
- 5/5
Breakfast left a lot to be desired, eggs looked rubbery, waffle maker was broken. Bathroom was a bit tiny too. Other than that nice for our stay
- 0.5/5
A Black bikers club rented out 2 floors and partied to 4-5am, 2 nights in a row. Yelling & screaming, loud music, running up and down hallways, slamming doors. Front desk would/could do nothing about it. Police called 3 times to no avail.
- 4/5
Room was clean but hotel is older. Bathroom was half redone.
- 3/5
Smell of Marijuana, room had a hole in the wall and carpet leading to 2nd floor was dirty. The only icemaker working was on the 1st floor.
- 3/5
No rooms were available when I arrived (it was a little early) but when I entered the hotel and approached the desk, the clerk looked up at me and then continued working on his computer. There was no acknowledgment that I was standing there for at least 20-30 seconds which was awkward. The hotel needs touching up with carpet cleaning and paint, but the bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

They need new people to clean because that was gross. Sweet tea was spilled all in the fridge, looked like it wasn’t cleaned for a while. It was under the racks in the fridge. The halls had a weird smell. Overall it just looked dirty and needs more up-keeping. My stay was sorta last minute so we didn’t have much time to find a hotel close to where we needed to be the next morning but I will never stay there again.
- 3/5
it was nice, they did give me the wrong room, but overall the stay was nice

- 4/5
Twice the desk was empty & no one was in the office. My second day my key no longer worked so I had to get a new one. The ice machine was out of order and I stayed on the 5th floor and there were bags of trash in the hall my entire stay (2 days)

I had a late check-in. I arrived after 7. The desk clerk was not friendly at all. It was as if I was bothering him and a great inconvenience. The carpet was extremely dirty in the hallways as well as the room. Crumbs were on the floor. The crumbs were noticable. Also, the curtain was stained and dirty along the edges. The toilet seat had chips in it. I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the room and the desk clerk. I would caution anyone staying at this location.
- 4/5
The price is after consideration near the Airport ok. Breakfast was very good after staying in 2 more Hotels in this Area. The other Hotels Breakfast should get a one Star for Breakfast nasty as it was. Just wrapped up stuff mostly for Microwave.
- 5/5
Room was spacious and comfortable.
- 3/5
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
- 2/5
The hotel is in pretty bad shape overall. There is an odor that is a mix of dampness and stale smoke, like rooms were possibly converted from smoking to non smoking some years ago. The carpet is in very bad shape and probably contributing to the smell.
- 4/5
Ice machines out of order. No carts available to take my bags to my room.
- 5/5
I really didn't notice. I did like elevator being outside. That was nice surprise and I never experienced that in all travels. I am currently retired. I used to travel quite often and I stayed in some fine hotels.
- 2/5
We were not informed prior to booking that the property is currently undergoing construction and therefore the pool and gym were closed. The hotel also stated they ran out of clean washcloths our second day there.
- 4/5
The hotel is doing renovation. The pool, fitness center, and business center are all closed. They start renovations kinda early but I was there for business and was leaving by 0730 so it didn’t bother me. Breakfast was limited. They had no meat due to ordering and delivery issues.
- 2/5
There wasn’t much that I did like. The property is very dirty. The shower was dirty and didn’t drain. There were stains on the floor, towels, and bedding. The shower curtain is old, dirty, and dingy with stains on it. Every ice machine in the hotel was out of order. The hotel itself did not smell good.
- 3/5
Upon check-in we discussed the airport shuttle and were told that the shuttle did not run on weekend. This was not indicated on the website at all. They did finally call in a driver and make arrangements to get us to the airport. The hotel is under renovation. Some parts were nice, others not so much. Coffee maker in the room had no filter holder so no coffee. We left before breakfast started. Staff was friendly and attempted to help but not impressed overall.
- 1/5
When renovations underway really means the property should be closed. None of the few amenities were available except for the complimentary breakfast, which was a joke with very little food offered. Even my newly “renovated” room was in terrible condition. Never again.
- 4/5
We stayed here for a night. It is an older hotel, but they are remodeling. The room we were appeared clean at first, but we notice pieces of a purple balloon when when we opened the curtains. The paint on the bathroom ceiling and door were also peeling. Breakfast was waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal and pastries.
- 4/5
Tried to charge again saying I still need to pay
- 5/5
THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. THE NEXT TRIP USE THIS HOTEL .
- 3/5
Overall the room was clean and when we did need assistance from the front desk they were accommodating. However, the fitness center/pool/ other nearby rooms were all being renovated and I did not know this upon booking.. I like to workout daily so this was definitely an inconvenience and the construction in the rooms near mine was a bit disrupting during the morning-afternoon.
- 1/5
Terrible
- 1/5
I'm was refused service because I live in the same city where the hotel is located. I'm filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
- 3/5
Beds and pillows great, carpet in room nice, outside curb appeal good, great hot breakfast, breakfast staff excellent, front desk staff mediocre, smelled terrible in building and room. Will not stay again at any Comfort Suites.
- 3/5
The hallways and lobby smell awful. Room was poorly maintained. The room key stopped working as they apparently reset regularly. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and a complimentary breakfast is always nice. Overall I don't think this property is ready. If you manage a good deal, then by all means, otherwise I would check out neighboring hotels instead.
- 3/5
Couldn’t find my reservation at first and said that Expedia canceled it but did end up finishing me a room and fixing the situation. Nice staff
- 5/5
Great location, super helpful staff. I highly recommend!
- 1/5
Upon checking in I was informed that my paid reservation was canceled!! I had no where to stay and had to go to a nearby hotel and pay $185.00 for the night!! Not happy!!
- 3/5
The place is currently going through renovations so it was alot going on and alot of things were outdated, but quite place and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Really convenient to RDU airport. Easy check in. Clean facility and friendly staff. Large spacious room.
- 1/5
The hotel refused to rent to me because my home address is just under their 30-mile limit policy for guests, at 29 miles. The Expedia agent would not price match with the next door Wingate by Wyndham hotel where the Comfort Suites sends guests with the same problem. I was tired. My feet hurt due to a medical condition, and my reservation was not honored. Expedia owes me a booking credit at a future stay to make up for their error in reserving this hotel for me. I'm at the Millennium Hotel from 12/22/22 to 12/26/22. Expedia should comp me for this stay.
- 1/5
This was a bad experience from the moment we drove up until the moment we left the property, which was only approximately 20 minutes because there is no way we could have stayed here. When an employee representing this establishment is walking around in gray colored sweatpants and I can tell you that his underwear is turquoise blue in color - YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!
- 5/5
The staff at this property was amazing and welcoming. The check in was quick and easy and comforting. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. This is an older property but the staff made the need for renovations obsolete. I would definitely book here again!
- 3/5
The property is older so its a bit run down. My son was trapped in the elevator for about 10 minutes. The carpet in the hallway on the 5th floor near the elevators was badly stained. The washer/dryer are located in what used to be the sauna (the wood flooring is torn out) so both machines are sitting uneven, worked fine though very dusty on the outside. Breakfast was what I would expect for a free breakfast - microwaved eggs/sausage, waffle maker, instant grits, coffee/tea/milk but it was tasty. No oatmeal. The juice machine wasn't working because the key was missing. I think what bothered me the most was the black spots on the shower curtain, how short the commode was to the floor (not easy for elderly people with knee and hip issues), 1/2 of the missing window sheer, the broken black-out shade, the broken phone (no dial tone), the room fridge that wobbled very badly in the cabinet, and the FILTHY coffee pot (it was loaded with water stains and was absolutely gross). On the other hand the linens were clean and comfortable and warm and the room smelled good. I didn't take my shoes off but i felt the floor looked clean. With all its issues - mainly age related - I'd stay here again because budget is largely a factor for me. If you need to travel on a budge this is as good as any and no bugs :)
- 1/5
This property is horribly gross. Beds uncomfortable. I was afraid to walk around without shoes or even with them for that matter.
- 1/5
This hotel puts in very small print that people that are local to North Carolina within a 50 Mi radius cannot rent a room there. Hotels.com does not show it clearly you have to clearly going to the policy look at the bottom of the page to see that note and they should have immediately released my funds, which they did not nor did I get any help reserving another room. My reservation was for 2 days for work. I lost a day of work and the Staff was not helpful at all. The hotel clearly would not pass any kind of inspection, which is probably why they don't want any of the locals checking in there.
- 1/5
The entire building has some sort of ongoing repair. Surfaces that shouldn’t have spiderwebs have spiderwebs. I think I was given a smoking room that was built for little people. The stench or smoke was overpowering and stung the eyes. The carpet lost all of its softness 2-3 years ago. The shower had so many soft spots it felt like showering on a water bed. The counter was just a little above knee height. Would not recommend. Spend more versus staying in a flea bag.
- 1/5
This location would not allow a stay by anyone whose address is within 50 miles of their location. My card has not been credited back for the cancellation by the hotel
- 3/5
Front desk was nice and professional. The hotel is in the process of being renovated. It does need a pretty healthy face lift. Mattresses and pillows were not the most comfortable. The room was clean just a bit dated.
- 1/5
The room is dirty. There was hair on the pillowcases. I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel in the continental US
- 1/5
This is a terrible hotel now. I have stayed there many times. Had ant early flight and wanted to stay near airport. When I went to check in was told it was company policy that if you lived within 50 miles of the hotel that they didn’t rent rooms. Never in my life have I ever heard that. Do not go to this place. They are rude an unprofessional. I guess my money is no good to them.
- 3/5
I specifically booked this hotel because there was a pool for the kids. When we got there, there was a note at the front desk that the pool was closed for renovations which was really disappointing (it was not mentioned online it was closed). The first room they gave us (on the 5th floor where the ac appeared to be out in the hallway) was dirty. There was black hair on the beds , make up stains on the pillows and a few on the sheets. I called down to front desk and they did allow me to switch rooms. The room we switched to had no phone (well the phone was the but no cord) and the AC didnt really work so it was not super comfortable. The pillow cases had noticable stains on them and some of the towels did as well. The staff though was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. It would be a great place to stay if they would work on the cleanliness and maybe do a little maintenance.
- 1/5
We didn’t even stay in the room after wasting a reward night from Hotels.com The staff told us they had problems with rooms not being cleaned but assured us that our room was ready. The refrigerator had been left open and the room smelled awful! There was hair all over the bathroom and bed and one of the drawers was barely hanging on! We returned our key and didn’t even stay after all day flights. The staff member working the desk said she didn’t even know what to say and that the owner was trying to make it better there. He has A LOT of work to do.
- 1/5
They listed the FREE shuttle bus service to the airport and swimming pools. However, pools were closed due to under construction and shuttle bus wasn’t free. They never mentioned anything about the fee, which is $30. If there is no FREE shuttle bus service, shouldn’t listed on the website. Also, the business center is useless. PC were not working and the entrance key doesn’t work.
- 3/5
Clean but in nead of repairs. No pool due to renovation. Really? Don't think so.
- 5/5
Check in was fast and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything that we needed was provided
- 3/5
meh. im surprised this place has such good reviews. the staff was great, check in was easy and everyone we came into contact with was friendly. the coffee in the lobby was good. but the room had so many ants in it, it was really gross. they gave us some spray to take care of it. we didn’t ask to change rooms so i don’t know if they would have been accommodating. pool was advertised as open but was closed upon arrival.
- 1/5
Piled, rooms furniture duct taped and scratched. Needs major cleaning and update.
- 1/5
No restaurants near by. Don't stay if you have no car.
- 1/5
Unfortunately the property was very disappointing. The building is very older with cobwebs and dead bugs in the elevator and the room. Our room smelled like smoke and had dead bugs on windowsill. Also food from previous travelers on the couch. The front desk was nice nad gave us a refund and let us leave. We did not feal comfortable.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean the service was good and it was a comfortable stay
- 2/5
I loved the area. My experience was NOT good. This property need upgrades and a thorough cleaning.
- 2/5
The building is in desperate need of cosmetic repairs and or updates. On the outside of the building and there's a little water fountain in front which is the so unappealing because it's just old and looks like someone put a sprinkler in the middle of a round circle and the overhang on the front of the building has pieces of the under hanging or ceiling dropping down the inside of the building is very dark and not welcoming at all all the carpet throughout the entire building hallways dining area everywhere is all bumpy and has lumps or wrinkles it just looks horrifying pad in the hallway of each floor there are air condition units that do not work the hallways are extremely hot can there are defects, scuff, tears, and gouges and all kinds of markings on walls corners everywhere no one has ever gotten touch up paint and touched up places that are obviously in great need of care. The interior of the building is just so dark and drab the gold tones the beige tones all the darker tones very dated very drab. Honestly I felt like I was going into what should have been a decent hotel establishment I'm up but has been turned into a rental place for low income. I don't have a problem with low income housing in fact I believe we need to put a lot of money into low-income housing cuz people are suffering in this housing crisis but when you pee $100 or more a night to stay somewhere you do not expect it to be so unpleasant cosmetically and a statically as this hotel was it reminded me o
- 5/5
the property was easy to access and find using Apple Maps. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable.
- 3/5
Not a great experience. The first room they gave me was soiled. The television did not work as well as the refrigerator. The person at the desk gave me new batteries for the remote and ran up and down the stairs. I should not have been the one to change batteries. That is the hotels job.
- 4/5
Needs some updates but the staff was great
- 2/5
Room keys only worked occasionally and we were told to try them again (as if we were doing it incorrectly). At end of stay, none of our keys worked and clerk came up to try and realized it was the actual locking mechanism on the door that was the problem. Maintenance was not available and general manager had to be called back (very late at night - we waited in lobby; and all I can say is Thank God we weren't trying to get our luggage for the airport shuttle). After 3 hours, from 9 pm to midnight, we finally got into our room.
- 2/5
Big gap at the door anyone could open with out a key and hall way is smell 100 % of cigarettes , parking lot is poor on light at night time…
- 3/5
The main entry doors were locked at 10:45pm with nobody at the front desk. We stood outside in the cold for 10 minutes calling the number on the door and knocking before someone finally came and let us in. Very frustrating!
- 5/5
Overall things was good
- 2/5
Property was in a good location but was severely dated. There was activity in the parking lot when I arrived from a 2am flight that felt unsafe. The front desk staff was very friendly, even at 2am; however I will look for other options on my next stay.
- 3/5
The bathroom lighting was dim and we wish we had brighter lighting. The drain in the bathroom sink sucked. It took a while for the water to go down the drain. I did attempt to try to fix it but it would only make it worst, so I set it back to how it originally was. The cover for the iron board to iron our clothes was dirty and looked like it hasn’t been replaced/cleaned in a while also. We had a suite (king and pull out twin) it was an overall nice layout. We stayed in room 444. But it was nice enough just for us to lay our heads.
- 4/5
Nice hotel nice staff. I would book there again. No complaints.
- 4/5
Didnt know I had to fill out sheet for breakfast, so the next morning was coffee and a banana. They say they thoroughly clean the rooms, but where you turn on the lamp and usb outlets was covered in dust that hadn't looked touched.
- 4/5
The outside of the property could use some upgrade and cleaning of cobwebs . Maybe paint
- 5/5
It was Great!!! Quiet area and perfect for traveling
- 5/5
Ive stayed there before so I knew I would have an enjoyable stay. Honestly it started out with a small room booking issue but was fixed IMMEDIATELY. The man at the counter, Mike he went avove and beyond to make sure my guest and I were accommodated. He was EXCELLENT.
- 2/5
The area was great, as it's a short drive to food, groceries, or the airport.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly staff.
- 2/5
Linens were not clean.
- 3/5
Hotel is outdated and needs cleaning. Dingy carpeting and water spots on ceilings. Staff were polite and helpful. No ice machines were available or working. Glad all I had to do was sleep there. I won’t come back here.
- 5/5
I t was awesome as always
- 5/5
Wonderful property. Great and clean rooms and very friendly staff. Only complaint is that it can be a few minutes before someone is at the front desk but completely understandable as the people at the desk wear many hats! Will be coming back more!
- 5/5
I’ve been staying here for 4 weeks now. I’m out of town on business. For the money, if booked through Expedia, you won’t find a better hotel in this area. It’s affordable, the rooms are big, nice, and clean, and all of the staff I’ve dealt with have been great! Highly recommend staying here!
- 5/5
My stay was amazing! The room had everything I needed plus the service was great! Would definitely stay again. I was in town for a comedy show.
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable slept well and get free breakfast the next day I would definitely stay there again.
- 2/5
My room was not very clean. Hair and stains in bedding and bathroom, Dusty, Rust in Fridge. No sugar or creamer for coffee.
- 1/5
The linen was filthy, I got stuck in the elevator, fridge was gross and the breafast was ridiculous. The manager was never available to hear my concerns and I had to just take. I was praying the entire time that I don't catch COVID-19. No refunds!!!
- 4/5
Some one had smoked in the room, got another room
- 5/5
The gentlemen at the front desk was exceptionally kind, and made any inconvenience we may have had go away.
- 2/5
Would never stay here again.
- 3/5
While we had no issues at the hotel, the hotel is older and needs a lot of updates.
- 1/5
The hotel is very hotel all over. Then the rooms are filled with ants. I stayed for 3 nights and the first night my room and food was filled with ants coming from all over. Then on the 3rd day my check out date, I got to my car and my car was filled with ant from the very front to the back and the trunk. They have a very bad ant problem and they didn’t let anybody know.
- 1/5
The hotel smelled like gas your machinery I stayed two separate times and both times a strange smell through out gave me a headache and never went away and wasn’t masked by a moldy smell in the room. The pool was outside my room and people were out there in the pool making noise until midnight I called the front desk to have it closed but it was loud another half hour past then. Rules weren’t enforced.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
I went down and explained the situation and they gave me another room. When I went to the new room the elevator had no AC the floor had no AC. When I got to my assigned room the door was open. I call in to made sure no one was inside. I opened the door and it looks like a clean room. The room had AC and it was working properly. The door had a defect and didn’t closed properly. The toilet paper holder was broken, the bad room door was all bit up, no please to hang the towels, blood on the pillow case it was a disaster. The mirror had 2 black spot in the middle. Poor maintenance and poor cleaning procedure. It need quality control.
- 3/5
Microwave in Suite didn’t work, refrigerator was over frosted, bathroom wasn’t stocked.
- 2/5
- 4/5
Cons: dated, lobby smells weird, 1st room smelled like mildew but 2nd room was better (had 2 separate stays), small strange pillows on the bed.
- 5/5
Everything is great at this location
- 4/5
I had a nice day I’d stay again
