There were bugs in the bathtub, the toilet had urine in it when we showed up.

Other guests very loud was nearly midnight, and there was lots of loud music playing in the rooms. But for a place to just catch some rest for the night was enough, would not stay longer than a night.

Worst stay! They try to charge because they said smoking in the room when the room already smell like smoke. This was suppose to be a short stay for two nights and they just try to get all the money they can out of you. Do not stay here again! Reaching out to lawyer to figure this out because there is camera in the hallways that shows we walked outside every time to smoke.

Funky smell throughout the place. Cigarette smoke filled my room each night. They said breakfast was provided but they meant they had a coffee pot on in the morning. Maid only comes in once every 14 days so no clean towels or bed linens.

Despite this, the manager, Chad, refused to accept our payment for the upcoming week and forced us to leave—with our children present—during extremely cold weather. This action appears retaliatory, as the only preceding event was me asking why other tenants behind on payments were granted leniency while my fully compliant family was denied the opportunity to continue staying. Following our removal, we attempted to book a room at another Extended Stay America. At that point, we discovered that our family had been added to a “Do Not Rent” list, further preventing us from securing shelter. This was done without cause, without documentation, and without any communication from management. We were left stranded, with children who were cold, frightened, and unsure of where we would sleep.

Hole in the wall of the room, disruptive guests fighting through the night, bugs.

The place smells horrible, the finishes look 20 years old and are brown brown - depressing brown. The A/C units are barely functional and filthy. The "hot" water was luke warm. The staff were friendly but still can't go above one star.
- 1/5
Management is terrible and at the last minute my room was rented out without any notice until I was trying to pay for another night
- 1/5
AC didn't work, blood stain on the sheets, tobacco on the couch, and ROACHES! One even fell out of my daughters clothes as she was gathering up her stuff to leave.
- 5/5
The staff was nice and friendly

A garbage bag was lying in the hallway over night plus some garbage on the hallway floor. Carpets looked generally dirty. The elevator was not particularly clean either and made strange noises when moving, leaving me to wonder if I will make it to the next floor. The device to open the door, that reads the room key worked very poorly, requiring to insert and remove the room key many times until it was recognized. This was not an issue with the room key, because it worked flawlessly on the outside doors of the facility. The room itself had a musky odor, the lamp cover in the kitchen area was partially disconnected, and the bathtub was extremely slippery and had a U-shaped bottom, making it a challenge not to fall. Free breakfast was included in the stay, but only coffee and quaker oatmeal was provided, no milk for the oatmeawl, no yoghurt, nothing else. Since the stay included breakfast, I feel taken advantage of, because I was charged for something that was not provided. I have stayed in an extended stay America before, about 20 years ago in West-Sacramento. At the time that stay was not great, but acceptable. The Extended Stay America in Raleigh, NC did not meet that threshold. I felt uncomfortable there and I would not recommend that place to anybody.

Horrible
- 1/5
Cockroaches are running in the bathroom and towels are with hairs. Smell really bad and we don’t have a good time staying here.
- 2/5
We booked 2 nights and only stayed 1. The bathroom door was broken; if you closed it, you were stuck and required someone from outside to help. The shower curtain was far too short (for a bathtub!) and flooded the bathroom. There were bugs, the floor was sticky, and it was clear no one had swept from the dirt and debris on the ground. Dirty kitchenette. No outlets near the bed nightstand. There was supposed to be a “grab and go” breakfast from 6:30-9 but when we went down at 8 there was nothing but a coffee cart, no food. We sought a refund for the one night we left but the property didn’t even bother responding.
- 1/5
This property looked nothing like the photos or any other extended stay I’ve been to! Major upgrades are needed and an exterminator is greatly needed for in the few minutes I was in the room before asking for my refund, roaches were running in and out of the A/C unit and the couch! I do not recommend, extremely dirty…
- 1/5
Constantly got locked out of our room due to broken door . Pretty dirty . Understaffed , although the staff that was there was nice , they are not able to keep up with things due to the horrible conditions. Weird smell . Had to leave because they were renovating beds which we found out upon arrival.

Run down, roaches in the rooms, there was NO breakfast. They said on the go all they had was hot chocolate, packs of grits and nutra grain bars that is it and it was on a cart on the lobby not even the breakfast room. I SPECIFICALLY book because it said ot had breakfast. The bathroom door was broken off the hinge so you could barely shut bathroom door. People outside smoking right outside doors and guys smoking marijuana at the pool. They do not even have ice machines. This is more like apartments, u can tell alot of those people live there and treat it as such. I have stayed inmuch nicer places for the same money. Never again
- 3/5
It was a ok stay
- 2/5
Inside; Old run down, needs a scrub down entire place. it didn't smell good either. you will have to pay 100.00 for incidents or they will not let you stay even though it appears you have paid to stay. I was going to cancel, didn't want the hassle with hotels dot com to get my money back.So we suck it up and made the best of it.
- 1/5
First room was not made up, mattress was up against the wall. Second room smelled funny, had to make my own bed, bugs, no face towels.
- 2/5
People were messy in hallways , chips left smashed over carpet , over a 4 ft radius. Doors propped open all over building for homeless people easy access. Trash out front left by people.
- 1/5
If you like roaches and people that live there like live there I'm talking about like druggies and none of the anemones like dishes for the kitchenette for anything like that broken beds this is the place for you
- 1/5
When I first got there, the place looks a little older.A few people I counted walking to the front desk was nice the lady at the front desk was very very nice and accommodating when we get to our room things changed a little, there was not brown single chair that goes wait couch, only one chair for bar that was pulled out from wall about 3 inches. Only one vanity sink when all the pictures had two. Had to ask for dishes because there was no dishes in the kitchenette. The lady up front was very nice she said the dishes are on first come first serves and she would look for me some dishes and she would call me back in a few minutes if she had any she didn't. So after bringing our groceries because we got a kitchenette we had to go out to eat and spend money we didn't have we were on a budget. When we get back home she catches Us coming in the front door and informs us that she has found us some dishes for our kitchenette

I booked 2 rooms and seen roaches
- 1/5
Horrible experience!!!! No good service, not a clean place. Its very dirty and nasty disgusting ill never be renting this again and i recommend everybody not to do it. Poor quality , no extra towels. No housekeeping at all.!!!!! There are roaches. The bathtub is all messed up. The room smells bad. If i could leave - stars i would!!!!!
- 1/5
The property was nasty and full of roaches. The reservation was for 4 days but the actual stay was less then 4 hours. Check-out with folio (receipt) to validate. The phone number doesn't work and Expedia is upholding standing the nasty vendor. They said they continue to email and there is no redponse from the hotel. What the hell is this type of crap. Im going to look into taking this matter to small ckaims court.
- 4/5
Room was clean, pool was great. Staff were very nice. Definitely would stay again. Stools or something would have been Great at the Bar so you could eat there rather than on the furniture. Maintenance within the room is needed. Shower Curtain Rod appeared it had been ripped out of the wall an rehung, the holes from previous times were there. Wish the Room had a Smart TV or the Option to have your Streaming Sites, and Remote worked sometimes. Overall was a pleasant stay with the kids.
- 5/5
I like it had breakfast and a pool.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly, but our room was filthy. It was a very late, or I would have asked for a different room. Floors were obviously not swept or mopped, spilled gunk, dirt and debris and literal nail clippings everywhere. Hairs all over the tub and sink. The bathroom walls looked like they had old pee spots running down them. The beds were made, but the sheets smelled like fish. Sofa bed was filthy with spilled food after taking off the pillows I wouldn't let my child sleep on it. No bugs though, so that's a blessing, and the only reason I didn't go back down at 1:30am and request a new room.

Very helpful guest service! The room is comfortable and clean to my standard and price. Easy to extend days with no complications.

Dead roaches, crumbs on the floor, and ran down.

Our room was dirty and smelled of smoke. As well as being loud. The place was gross!

I didn’t take any pics the room was so bad we just left and wanted our money back
- 4/5
Okay oka
- 4/5
Everything was good for my short stay
- 3/5
Extremely loud. Teens hanging out in the hallway making rude comments to other guests (my 12 year old was one of them) bathroom hot water didn’t really work plus it was covered in mold. One of the ac-units sounded like a busted rusted old ford truck trying to crank. Walked in the room and it was supposed to be smoke free but smelt like a bunch of people decided to smoke some herbs and I’m not talking about oregano. Best part was you had to turn your head alittle to the left to watch tv cause I’m 95% sure it was leaning on its last leg. We had to clean it before we felt ok staying in the room. Bring cleaner and earbuds if you choose to stay here. Last but not least make sure you check on your cars because some of the guest staying like to walk around them to see what you have inside. I stood in my room and watched someone walk around my car twice. Thank the Lord they didn’t see anything they needed.
- 2/5
I came to North Carolina to help a friend move, and we stayed here because she moved early away from her ex. The first thing we experienced was the hotel guests, a lot of them live in this hotel. The lady at the desk was super nice and friendly and that’s where the two star comes from. When we got to the room that we booked, there were people in the room still and my friend had the unfortunate experience by seeing a woman’s butt. We went down to the front desk and explained there were people still in there, she gave us the last room available and it was one king bed with a pull out couch. So we had no choice but to deal with it. The carpet had stains, there is a leather recliner that is in the room is need of replacing, there was still chunks of food in the sink in the kitchen area. To finish it off, their “breakfast” is just coffee and your choice of one muffin, nutrigrain bar or a granola bar. Those are your breakfast options. For a non smoking hotel, there are definitely smokers in the rooms. 2/5 stars, there is a bunch of hotels around the area that looked much nicer to stay at than this place. If you’re on a budget, sure, but this should be a last resort stay.
- 2/5
Too dirty and the light in the room didn’t have a switch to turn it off.
- 5/5
Awesome staff, spacious rooms, and an reasonable price, gotta love it!
- 4/5
Room was clean bed was comfortable i will stay there again 🙂
- 2/5
The carpet in the room was dirty. The bathtub was not clean. the tub was chipped. The refrigerator was leaking water. There was a table to eat at if you chose to but, no chairs. No coffee table in the room. Walked in the room and it smelled very musty. The room appeared to me that it was in need of renovation. The room was very much outdated. The electrical outlets near the kitchen above the table, wasn't working. This was my first and last time staying at Extended Stay od America.
- 3/5
Great
- 4/5
The price was good and it was clean.
- 3/5
It was a place to sleep. We were just passing through and was ok for that.
- 1/5
GROSS property , walked into my room that had a horrible urine smells (which they knew airing it out windows open) then look on the floor to find half dead Roaches fighting for their lives. Checked out quickly and hit a marriott . Front desk
- 2/5
Flooring was filthy carpet full of women’s hair. Everything was rusted shower floor rusted . Tv didn’t work. Employee was very understanding and she was very accommodating. Unfortunately the hotel can’t back her up. She changed my room for one an operational TV. And once in there noticed cold water in bathroom didn’t work. Like that’s unacceptable Guess you have to pick one or the other. I do want to thank the front desk clerk. Extended Stay please look into this location. IT NEEDS A-LOT OF HELP!
- 3/5
The elevator is very old. The area where the buttons are located was barely on the wall and was missing pieces. You could see the wires. Our room also had a very strong smell when we entered. It was clean but I sprayed Clorox and Lysol to try and get rid of the smell. If you have a sofa pull out bed, you have to get the sleeping materials from the front desk because they don’t keep them in the rooms. The walls, floors and doors could use some upgrades. I was scared to use the microwave because the wall outlet was hanging off and wires were exposed. The air worked fine. We were able to sleep peacefully without loud noises. The bathtub needed to be clean because we found hair in there. Check out is at 11:00. It was 10:30am when someone knocked on the door. I was in the process of getting dressed and the door opened but luckily we had the bar on the door. I told the guy it was not 11:00 yet but he asked us if we were checking out or staying another night. I informed him we were checking out. I didnt like the fact he opened the door. Someone from the front desk could have called the room. Overall, the hotel isn’t terrible. We didn’t see any bugs.
- 5/5
I liked the room immediately. The design wasn’t typical for the price
- 5/5
Staff at front desk was really accommodating
- 5/5

The property was in terrible condition! And it had Bugs in the lobby. The check in was so unprofessional. The man checked me in with a Robe on.
- 5/5

- 2/5
It is absolutely an older hotel, can really use an upgrade. Really needs a new makeover. Tiles not good in the bathroom, nail clippings in the corner. Curtains did not close properly, microwave definitely needs replacing. Remote control did not work, they had no replacements or batteries Refrigerator needs parts. 100% needs to be renovated..
- 5/5
Had a great stay at a great hotel they treat guest like family, rooms are always clean and quiet wonderful hotel whether you stay 1 night or 1week you'll have a great stay
- 1/5
I booked for 2 nights and canceled and I didn’t get my money back
- 5/5
Overall a great place with enough room for comfort, they had a kitchen and even dishes to help with cooking.
- 2/5
So my experience was kinda crazy that night. I thought I was gonna be able to cook my kids a meal, but there was no silverware no pots no pans no cups. Top it off soon as we get in there from our long trip to use the bathroom because the bathroom downstairs was out of order. Our toilet was leaking water everywhere on the bathroom floor the lazy man downstairs at the front desk told me to put towels around there and he would do a work order Which left the bathroom smelling like a truck stop bathroom but the icing on the cake went to hang out with my cousins couldn’t get back in the hotel cause my key wouldn’t work tried all the doors until I found somebody coming out the hotel and went in with them, which they had to use a different key They had two keys in their pocket. Y’all need to do a little bit better but a pleasant in the morning was Miss. Dora. definitely y’all need to give Dora. Please get rid of the man at night. Find somebody else with a little bit more customer service that I say he gave me a pile of towels, not folded or nothing but the positive the beds were comfortable.
- 4/5
Thanks for the hospitality. The only thing that I was not satisfied was with the fact that there were no spoons to eat the hot cereal with. I was there for 5 nights and they had on the first day. I asked the front desk and they said they did not have any more and they never refilled for the next 4 days I was there. Other than that, it was ok.
- 3/5
I would rate the cleanliness of the room 2 stars. The staff were very nice and friendly. Overall, the location was very convenient.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. Very smooth
- 2/5
No housekeeping services
- 1/5
When we arrived to check in we were informed that there is a $100 deposit. When we entered the first room it was disguising. The room was dirty the chair was cut up, sheets had stains and the bathtub wasn’t clean and no trash can. The second room wasn’t any better. This hotel needs updates and a better cleaning staff. When we entered the hallways they smelled awful.
- 5/5

- 2/5
The door to our room will not lock.
- 2/5
The key card machine was broken so we weren’t able to utilize a key card. We had to wait for management to let us in the room every time we needed to get in.
- 4/5
It was good
- 3/5
Hotel was not as “kept” as I expected. Odors and cleanliness below par. Overall, not maintained well. Having to put down a $100 Security Deposit when we arrived spoke volumes of the issues they must have with certain clientele
- 3/5
The room was clean. But for extended stay property there was no dishes,no utensils, nothing to cook with. No coffee pot. The bathroom door would not shut.
- 3/5
The price was right and the bed was nice and comfortable. That said I wondered why the people across the hall had a towel sticking out from under their door. Turns out there was a 1 inch gap between the door and the floor which let all hallway noise into my room. I copied the towel trick. Aside from that the property is showing a good amount of wear and tear; carpet coming up, carpet staples sticking out of the floor, dings and dents and holes in the walls. There was hair that was not mine on the shower walls. The floor in the elevator was quite dirty and needed a good mopping. That said I never felt unsafe and the staff was helpful when they were available. The “we’re away right now” sign was up a lot at the front desk.
- 5/5
Room aesthetics and maintenance are in need of improvement/updated.
- 4/5
It’s a good, safe, cheap option in a convenient location. We’ve stayed here before and will again. Room was mostly clean but there were a few dead bugs. No living ones. The shower water was very difficult to turn. Bed was comfy and we slept great.
- 1/5
We were not able to stay at the property because we saw 3 roaches and a spider before we unpacked. We went immediately to the clerk to ask for a refund. We couldn't stay in such conditions. We're requesting our money back. The hotel only gave the deposit back.
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly, good atmosphere, plenty of space in the room. Thanks
- 1/5
The hotel was below average, and they had advertised a breakfast which was joke as they had poor coffee with a packet of oats and nothing more. False advertisement to lure people in with no facilities. The condition or maintenance of the rooms were as well poor.
- 2/5
Staff was friendly but lobby and rooms were not very clean, and breakfast bar wasnt really existent just coffee and oatmeal
- 4/5
It was close to my destination and it was reasonably priced.
- 2/5
We love the pool, it was crystal crear, very clean and super big, the Hotel facility and the room was bad, and the receptionists at the front desk was very rude, i don't remember her name but i think that starts with a S
- 1/5
I wanted a cheap place to stay and never again will I want that again. I picked the property because it had a kitchen in the room which was very convenient for me at the time. But, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the bathtub was gross, I didn't notice housekeeping at all (in the hallway of the floor I was on) until day 3. The breakfast options were pre packaged snacks. The sign for the laundry room says to see front desk for change and soap. The front desk has neither. It looked like some glass was broken/shattered outside the front door. It stayed there for a few days. I will say the front desk staff was courteous and able to answer the few questions I had. The stovetop worked, so I was able to cook all of my food as I needed.
- 5/5
nice ac
- 2/5
The property is under going some maintenance work. After checking in and headed towards the room, the clerk communicated part of what is being fixed. An elevator and omw to another elevator. I saw a patch of ceiling removed adjacent to their functional elevator. Sadly, i was given a room in need of some maintenance as well. The tub spout was barely on. The overflow trim plate was not in and the overall color of the bathroom was beige.....
- 5/5
Absolutely amazing the staff were great and Mr. Chad was amazing. My family and I enjoyed the pool the grilling area and our room was nice. It was spacious and everything was working.
- 4/5
Had an overnight stay. Sydney was very helpful and nice. It sucks that there was a required deposit because it didn’t state that anywhere on the hotels.com website. Also their breakfast was nutrigrain bars and oatmeal packets. They have a large dining room I wish there could be an actual breakfast provided. Got what we paid for though room was huge! Perfect for my family of 4
- 5/5
It was very clean. Set up was nice.
- 1/5
Don’t stay at this hotel. The entire inside of the hotel is completely outdated my room was dirty the walls in my room had plastered holes where you could see the repairs, the tub was dirty, the carpet was dirty, the vinyl flooring was coming up for the money I spent the inside of the property should have been way better, the photos of this hotel is what they want it to look like, this place made me feel unsafe my entire stay. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION
- 5/5
Staff was super nice at check in/check out and when I needed anything. The room was clean but, needs updating. Some things were stained or rusted. Shower had good water pressure.

Front desk was always not staffed, and you had to wait for someone to show up. Elevators near the lobby were not working. For utensils you had to go to front desk and ask and they were short of them.

It is also nothing like what it advertises. Our room was supposed to have a king-sized bed, & a double-sized sofa bed, with two sinks in the bathroom & a spacious counter there. They were supposed to provided free breakfast. All of those were important choices for us, because we had three adults (parents & adult child) staying for a week. Breakfast? Sometimes there was coffee, IF it was still there, & IF the front desk staff refilled the pump pots. Food? Hope you like instant oatmeal packets (no bowls, etc available, though), &/or prepackaged muffins — again, IF they were available. When we arrived, there was trash in both trash cans. I told the front desk. Their solution? They handed me new trash bags, so that I could do what their cleaning staff had not. We needed extra towels for the shower, & they (after two trips to the desk) "allowed" us to have 1 extra towel, instead of just providing the 2 we asked for. The sofa bed mattress was at least two feet narrower than the bed frame, & we asked repeatedly for pillows for the sofa bed, & none were available — for the whole week we were there. We won't be staying with this chain again. EVER.
- 1/5
The reservation was non refundable and then when I get to the hotel, I had to pay an additional 100.00 (hold). After traveling for 3 hours, I had to use the bathroom desperately, I was told the lobby bathroom was broken. The nearest elevator was also broken. The bed in the room was hard and uncomfortable as if you can feel springs in the mattress. The toilet was not cleaned properly and the tub was so worn, we didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower. Although the rug was dark, it too was dirty. Why haven’t they switched to laminate floors? I paid almost $200.00 for 1 night in this hotel that was clearly worth a no name, truck stop MOTEL price. Also, the ad states breakfast, which was coffee, and oatmeal, grits packages! I was very UNSATISFIED!!! And felt like the add was a LIE!
- 1/5
No breakfast
- 1/5
Dirty hotel room with mold in the bathroom tub was so discussing I had to take a shower with shoes on. My bed I found a couple of strands of hair in the bed sheets. The smell in the hallways smelled so bad I almost wanted to throw up. They require you to put down a 100 dollar deposit which is insane. They don’t let you know before booking the place. I will never stay there again.
- 1/5
It’s invested with roaches, had to leave and stay at another hotel
- 1/5
Absolutely terrible! Room reaked of smoke, there were ashes on the dresser, floor was disgusting and food splattered all over counter, so much dust and particles in corners and on corners we were afraid to even walk barefoot in the room. Furniture was worn and very old and scratched. Check in the key didn’t work and had to come back. Told front desk two guys in masks and hoodies on first floor trying to get in and she responded not my problem…. Beautiful building on the outside not on the inside.
