Front desk is nice and helpful. Free Wi-Fi is slow. Nights are quiet. Location was great for my job during the stay. Room was clean but not fully cleaned: - Spiderweb in corners - Tub not clean and full of long hair - Scent of smoke was strong - Updating the furniture is not a bad idea - Outside could be more clean and welcoming

I checked in and after 30 min had to leave and find another place to stay, the bad smell in the room was terrible, the front desk tried to help me with a spray and it didn't work, i bought one spray didn't work either, not even a plastic cup in the room, dirty in a ver very bad condition, i can't understand why this place still opened and having guets coming over, this is unsane for expedia and for extended stay chain hotels, i'll appreaciate a reasonable answer to this maater

No cup or plates. No coffee maker. Or even instant coffee

The woman at the desk was so kind and lovely, she did explain the place is in the middle of an upgrade and had changed owners. The room was dark and dinghy, it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. When I left my clothes were still smelling of cigarettes until I washed everything. I was only in the room a short time. Cigarette butts absolutely everywhere outside. Everything looks old and tattered. Cost over $100 a night which is unbelievable for the age and environment of the room. It needs a lot of work to upgrade the space, not just a larger tv.

I would not recommend this place unless you are on a really tight budget. The only nice thing about it was the kind person who checked us in. The room was dingy and smelled faintly of smoke. The smoke alarm was chirping and I had to borrow tools to disconnect it so we could sleep. There was constant noise throughout the night from other guests, and the whole place smelled like weed.

Room was a dump I hate to say. Extremely outdated. Carpet filthy. Entire room dirty. Microwave dirty inside.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, it was dirty. The people there were shady anybody booking this hotel should not go there. I didn’t feel safe walking from my car to my room at night, and if it hadn’t been a football weekend with Parents’ Week (meaning everything else was booked), I would have left immediately. The room was filthy — the walls were stained, greasy, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned or painted in years. The microwave was rusted and burnt inside, with scorch marks that made it look unsafe to use. The fridge and surrounding area had visible dirt, sticky residue, and dust buildup. Even the bathroom counter had hair and debris in the corners. The overall condition of the room showed major neglect — peeling paint, grime buildup, and a lingering odor that made it hard to relax. It’s unacceptable for a hotel to present rooms like this, especially when charging standard weekend rates. I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others. I would not recommend staying here under any circumstances. Management needs to seriously deep-clean, replace damaged appliances, and improve the overall safety and maintenance of this property.

The comfort and space Nothing

We had no choice because I was recovering from anesthesia WE GOT A CONTACT BUZZ WHEN CHECKING IN THE CLERK ON DUTY WAS OBVIOUSLY SO HIGH.SHE COULDN'T KEEP HER EYES OPEN.IT SMELLED LIKE MARIJUANA INSIDE IT.DID NOT COME FROM OUTSIDE.. THE TOILET HAD FECES STUCK ALL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TOILET.THE ROOM OVERALL WAS DIRTY.THERE WERE PUBIC HAIRS ON THE SINK.THE BED WAS EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE. I'M GOING TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO TRY AND CONTACT THE MANAGER ON MONDAY. IT WAS THAT BAD

The front desk guy was nice. The floors were dirty and the sink and bathroom were overall very dingy. The smoke detector started beeping low battery about 2 hours into my stay. I went to the front to ask for help and they said they could not fix it that night. There were no batteries to replace it and no tools to remove the cage over it. I was offered another room but at that point I was ready to leave. I had to get a different hotel. I was told the manager could provide me with a refund for my stay when they returned to the property after the weekend.

It appears the rod came off and the repair job was just a big glop of spackle. The smell was of mold. The ironing board was even filthy dirty. The door hand chunks missing from the bottom. The staff at the front desk acted inconvenienced and not friendly. The elevator worked that was the only plus. The management can do better at cleaning and maintaining these rooms.

The pictures are probably from when this place was originally established because everything was VERY USED. In addition to the look itself the room was not properly cared for/cleaned by housekeeping. They did not complete the process!!!! There were crumbs on the floor (literally a whole section that couldn’t be missed by a blind person) and they didn’t even complete making the bed. So the gentleman that checked me in came to the room and completed the making of the bed and vacuumed. What he could not do, without a magic wand, was make the room look like the pictures or get the odd smell from the room and curtains (LISTEN it wasn’t my idea to smell them in the first place but when I went to close them the smell coming off of them was inevitable). I’ve booked extended stays before and have found some beautiful places (for less than I spent here) so I figured why not!?!? WellI’m got the WHY NOT on this one and I would NEVER book with or recommended this facility again!!!!!!! But the gentleman in the office deserves a raise because he was doing his job and others and was the BEST part of this experience. If I had the time to focus on booking elsewhere I would have and wouldn’t have bothered with a refund!!!!

I had 2 rooms. They were not side by side. They was on different floors, different sides of the building. The first room was dirty, when we got there. Air conditioning wasn't working. The room had a funny smell. The vinyl flooring had wet footprints throughout when i checked in, and when i got my own paper towels to dry the wet spots it picked up a lot of dirt. I ended up sleeping in the hospital room with my companion rather than sleep in the motel. I gave up my room early. A huge disappointment. No stars.

This place was absolutely disgusting and just the worst in every single possible way. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU LIKE BUGS AND STINKY ROOMS. There’s a comfort suites 7 mins away it’s a Palace in comparison.

The air conditioner and heater did not work at all. There was no telephone in the room for me to even let the front office know. Both towels were spotted tan on inside folded. Their walls are so thin I heard everything. All those kids and animals. They didn’t even serve breakfast

Hands down to ALL of front desk workers!! They're the best. Stay at extended for 6 months and NEVER a problem with anyone. Safe to take my daughter outside and play. If I had to choose extended stay again I will!!

Either Expedia or Hotel honest at the time you book- I book this hotel pass hours and both parties said nothing they can do to refund the money back . Even clearly both Expedia and extended said receptionist is close after 10:00pm.

We were charged for 2 nights and so far orbitz and extended stay have not helped to get me a refund. Shame on orbitz for making me deal directly with extended stay. Shame on extended stay for making this process so difficult. I would stay away from both of these companies.

NOT GOOD! The main reason we chose this hotel is so we could cook. They don’t provide and dishes or silverware or cookware. The room smelled musky and of smoke. The bathroom had visible mold stains and was not clean. I cut my reservation short and went to another hotel after seeing a roach.

I felt very uncomfortable with the surroundings and didn’t sleep much due to discomfort of facility. I would not stay here again but also would not disregard other locations based on 1 undesirable egg

I got off the road around 12am. Stopped to get food and to stretch my legs. Arrived at the room for check in to get some rest and there was no one on site to get me into my room. Argued with Expedia customer service and couldn’t get a refund nor a good nights rest. The absolute worst!

Even telling my 9 year old he was aggravating her as he sat on his father's truck playing with matchbox cars! That's just a couple examples but as far as the stay,if you don't ask for housekeeping, she'll not give you a second chance to get clean towels and honestly the ONLY good thing about this place was the housekeeping staff as they were very kind and apologetic for their boss as they shouldn't have been . Needless to say, I would and won't EVER recommend this hole to anyone!

Staff was incredibly kind. We booked a last minute stay because my mom was in UNC hospital. The staff at 11pm was kind, professional, quick and even said he'd be praying for my mom's recovery. Wish I'd gotten his name... 10/10 would stay again.

The place was old and in disrepair. Our room stunk of cigarette smoke, the bed even made our P.J.s smell like we're smokers. The carpet was old, worn, stained, disgusting. The appearance of bedding and towels appeared clean, But noisy Freeway and neighbors voice came through until after midnight.

Cops had to be called because I reported him to the office I'm still waiting on my refund which was very necessary, for paid $170.22 and it wasn't worth $1.70. I'd never do that place again, Jesus

I didn't like that front desk clerk said my room number of out loud for all to hear. I asked to assign me another room. She said she didn't know how to explain where room was located without saying room number. She didn't say where elevators, laundry, wifi login, nothing. Very poor customer service.

It was tough to figure out where lobby is although there is a clear sign of lobby at around 11.30 pm check-in. Lobby was locked with lights off. Have to call in to get in. There were body fluid stains on the bathroom ceiling. My 8yo woke up talking about a “crusty yogurt spot” on the sheets of her side of the bed. So many things wrong!

The desk chair on roller wheels rolled out from under me on the concrete floor. I took a severe fall landing on the back of my head. I skinned my left forearm which bled all night. I am seeking medical attention this morning. I could get no rest because of kids running and playing outside my room.

Ehh it’s was alright kinda of run down. Needs to be thoroughly cleaned but overall was quiet and convenient to everything nearby

Words cannot express how horrible these rooms are... Checked in to my room and promptly checked out and told the service counter that I was not going to stay at their establishment. They obviously have people making this a permanent residence. I was approached by a young man who asked if I had anything for sale because his contacted hadn't arrived and he said no one would stay there if they weren't selling. Make of that what you will. I was told by the service desk to contact management in the morning to get a refund. The manager refused to provide the refund and Expedia gave me a $20 voucher (gee thanks) because I couldn't get a refund.

The exterior of the property has garbage and other debris stains throughout the entire grounds and even though it is is a very good geographical part of town - I was concerned about my safety while being there. The Manager (Monica, I believe was her name) was incredibly pleasant and even personally delivered bath towels up to my room at 9 pm when it dawned on her that they were not done by the traditional housekeeping staff. All of the other staff I encountered bordered on the side of rude and most often did not even look me in the eye when speaking to me. I've stayed at other Extended Stay properties and have been very pleased - so I believe this location is a "one off" and just needs new support staff and a facelift.

Place was completely nasty. Holes in the walls. Sidewalks looks like they havent been pressure wash since it was built. Needs new furniture all the furniture was damage. No globe on light fixtures. Overall one of the nastiest places i have ever been to. This location is no comparison with the others.

My stay at Extended Stay America on Tower Blvd in Durham NC was an experience.. The room was clean to my expectations except the microwave.. It smelled like the guest beforehand had left food n the microwave that had turned bad & reeked a foul odor.. On the 1st day, the hostess said they would send someone to come clean it.. No one came, 2nd day, same thing nobody came, 3rd day, same thing but now was offered to go to another room.. Still nothing.. I ended up purchasing some Comet cleaner & scrubbing pads.. After the cleaning, my stay was quite pleasant.. I would book again if I get a compensation package 4 cleaning the microwave..

We left a day early and booked into another place. At fifty dollars per night, it wasn't even that cheap! Definitely not worth the money or aggravation. Stay away.

I didn’t have any tissue or a trash can in my room. The toilet was overflowing. The appliances and carpet are outdated.

Pretty sure the trash in the complex had not been taken out for over a week as well as in our room. There was a dirty diaper in our room that wasn’t removed before we got there. When I asked for a shower curtain for our room I was told that the lady in charge of this was on a break.

The room smelled strongly of incense. There was no trashcan. The smoke detector was laying on the floor. Overall, the hotel in general had bags of trash piled on all staircases and in various areas. Dumpster area was overflowing. Do not recommend it.

The toliet was overflowing and flooded the bathroom. Had to wait for the night manager to come on duty to get toilet repaired. The tub was dirty and the shower curtain was soiled with dirt, mold and mildew. The website list rooms include a fully stocked kitchen. It was not. The only redeeming factor was the staff was courteous and respectful.

It was a very dirty hotel room. The people next door had a very loud dog and the people upstairs liked to stomp and scream. The hotel was dingy with piles of garbage in the stairwells. The gentleman in the lobby was totally unprofessional and the key cards had to be re scanned everyday.

Friendly staff and promo check-in. Room was clean as well

The room was rundown, and smelled of stale smoke despite the no smoking sign. There was a stove in the kitchenette but no pot, pan, plate, or dish - not even a disposable cup - so it's a mystery how one would use it. The elevator was broken, making my third floor room a challenge with luggage. Trash overflowed the stairways. No hairdryer. Ugh!

in a seedy location... you can tell people live there full time... there was an over-abundance of garbage..we were on the 3rd floor...no working elevators..crime scene tape hanging from the railing.. the room smelled horrible..1960's hotplate... the furniture was VERY old and falling apart.. the light fixture fell off the ceiling in the middle of the night.. the bedding was old with several burn marks in them... the screens were busted out of the windows.. we slept very little...we left after the 1st night..if it wasnt so late when we got in..we wouldnt had stayed at all... not receommended at all!!!!!

The people in guest service was nice. I did not like that trash was kept on the stairwell for 48 hours and it was over flowing. The room had a weird odor to it as if the carpet does not get a regular shampooing. The room was clean enough. There should be some order to where temporary guest stay vs. those who stay extended amounts of time.

I hated it. Horrible. The area all around the hotel is filled with vagrants and loud people (lots of cigarette smoke and vulgar language). The room is so basic it reminds me of the hotel where Dr. King was shot (like going back in time). Room had no hangers, only one towel (wash cloth), no extra roll of toilet paper, and felt very unsafe. Late check in was difficult because the lobby door was locked (fortunately he let me in). The front desk person was nice, even gave me the missing towels, but had no responsibility for the many problems.
