Highway noise all night. I had to try to sleep with a pillow over my head and could still hear traffic. A/C didn’t work well. Set on lowest setting & it kept shutting off & wouldn’t come back on until it was sweltering hot. I didn’t sleep all night. I was so tired driving home the following day, I had to pull over in a Walmart parking lot & sleep.

This Doubletree provides a cozy yet business oriented atmosphere. It’s conveniently located near the airport yet has a pleasant setting amid trees. Our room was very quiet.

The property was nice, however, the entrance has steps to get to the door, which means you have to lift your heavy luggage up the steps to get into the Hotel. The staff was super friendly, however, my check out was on 5 days ago and I am still waiting for them to take the incidental charges off my credit card. The room service missed my room to clean in the morning and afternoon, which was a problem because I came back to the room to rest and my room was not cleaned both days. Why don't they clean rooms between 10:00AM - 2:00PM. I was very disappointed when I got back to the room after 3:00PM to find my room not cleaned.

The shower fixtures were not sturdy. The quality of the fixture did not reflect what I’m accustomed to seeing on properties.

The room was definitely showing its age. The wood furniture & wallpaper had a lot of bangs and chips. The room decor was dark. It was clean though and I was comfortable. I had an issue with the fridge and maintenance replaced it right away. All the employees were very kind and friendly. The lobby is cozy with a huge stone fireplace.

The bathroom is not configured well.

I asked to be notified asap so I could be let in my room asap. Did not receive a call or text. Many other parties in my group were checked in up to 2 hours early into their rooms. Very discouraging.

Stayed at the DoubleTree Raleigh because it was close to Duke Hosipital where we had an appointment. The room was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially Randy. He shuttled us to our appointment which made our trip much easier.

The breakfast was great. every morning my parents and I came down for breakfast and was greeted by a very friendly staff. The food was delicious. The space was clean and nice Also the bartender made a great margarita, and was really friendly. There was some type of test going on during my stay. There seemed to be random people walking around at times.

It was a very comfortable and clean room. I booked a single bed for three people, but failed to get any bedding for the pullout couch upon check-in and had to go downstairs again to retrieve it because none was in the room for us. Traveling with a small child that was a little frustrating otherwise no complaints.

Everything was excellent at this hotel, amenities and service. The only thing I would suggest is that the chairs around the conference table in the lobby be replaced with chairs of the appropriate height. The current chairs are too low to make typing on a laptop practical. I had to work in the dining area instead.

The Staff members up front were friendly, though. There were two trucks that side windows were busted the morning we were leaving, but beyond seeing that and being overwhelmed with weed smoke in the parking lot and lobby... It was a great stay!

The staff was great, loved the convenience of the airport shuttle, but my room smelled like feet, the lampshade was practically shredded, and the curtains didn’t have any sheers so it was either blackout dark or nothing. Some of the fixtures seemed to be dated and worn. the hallways didn't smell extremely fresh. when you walk into a marriott the whole lobby is infused with a sweet smell

Great customer service. Staff are always helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean and the handicapped accessible rooms are perfect for my disability. There's a nice restaurant and bar too. The hotel is also located close to all major attractions in Durham/Raleigh area and RDU Airport. This was our second stay.

Loved staying here. Daughter and I went for a girls weekend. Had a great time. Staff was attentive. They forgot to give us our breakfast passes, but took care of it the next morning. The pool was under maintenance, which is a big reason we went there, but we just shopped instead. It was rainy, so the pool being closed wasn't that inconvenient.

Breakfast was $20 for a standard hotel breakfast which should be complimentary. AC didn’t work well. Mold in room. Also was a cockroach in room.

We just asked for our money back and drove two hours back home.

Such a nice hotel with great staff. Front desk team was very friendly and kind. Would highly recommend.

Outdated, creepy rooms and hall, small rooms, big old bed take up most room. Old couch, stains on walls, curtains, chairs. Stain on sheets. Thank god I prepare for these things and had my own. Outside of room, the bartender at night was very nice. Good chill spot after hours.

Stayed one night and all was mostly fine but grounds could be better maintained and the one restaurant was closed. Just as well as the health rating was a 90 which in NC is pretty low. The rate is a bit of a premium compared to other nearby properties and not worth it to us.

I did not like the fact that the hotel supplied two bottles of water upon arrival, but does not supply any drinking water for the remainder of our stay. We paid what I thought to be a premium price per night for this hotel and the only water available was in a little snack section for $3.00 per bottle. It seemed very petty to me.

We checked in after a long flight. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. I was too tired to go down and complain. The beds had hardly any covers….two flat sheets with a bath towel thickness blanket in between. Couldn’t even provide a bed spread? This hotel has really gone down hill since we first started staying here many years ago.

Gates around parking room smelled like mildew. The staff was great the bartender and front desk was amazing. Hotel needs updated and deep clean. Cleaning staff can't fix the issues themselves

When we first arrived at this hotel we thought it was an Air bnb due to how the outside looked. It didn’t look like your normal double trees, but the staff was friendly and the room was clean and the view was of the courtyard/pool. Overall you can tell it’s been there for awhile but it was a nice clean stay

We only stayed for a night, but everything was clean and well kept. Our only complaints were that we were told breakfast started at 6:30 am when it actually started at 7 am, and this mattered because we were on a time crunch leaving the next day. Also, there was some miscommunication and we were under the impression that breakfast was complimentary, so we were surprised to receive a bill we had to pay for. Happy to pay for services, but please make it clear upfront that breakfast is paid and don't mislead guests. Additionally, there was a sign on the breakfast bar stating that any items carried out of the breakfast area would have to be paid for. Having to pay an additional cost for any breakfast items carried out feels very stingy for paying guests, especially on top of the paid breakfast, which is a flat fee per person.This is also pretty unusual for a Hilton hotel. We were only staying for one night urgently and on a budget, so it would have been comforting to have our morning meal included in the price of the room. We may or may not choose to stay here again, and we will definitely be double-checking about costs that are or not included.

Everyone i interacted with at this property went out of their way with top notch customer service. That type of experience is usually lacking in this day and age and the staff really went above and beyond in any and all interactions. I would definitely stay here again!

The building is arranged in a large square shape, fully surrounding an enclosed courtyard with a pool. This is nice because the courtyard can only be accessed by going through the hotel, making it safer and more private. The downside with this layout is some of the rooms are very far from an elevator. We were in the far back right corner of the hotel, which put us about the furthest possible distance from an elevator. We did have easy access to the parking lot from our room, but only if we were willing to trudge up and down the stairs. Also, on a Saturday, the hotel restaurant was open for breakfast only, no lunch or dinner, and the bar did not seem to open at all.

Lovely and surprising. Did not expect this hotel to have such a nice property do close to the airport. Lovely veranda added a lot to the charm.

Checking in was fine and friendly. Bartender was great. On line it said breakfast until 10:30, but they stopped at 10am, just when I got done there. I found that it said only mon-fri was 10:30 which doesn't make sense why Sunday would not be to 10:30 as well. Would stay there again.

I couldn’t believe how pretty this property was driving up the road. There were plenty of trees and flowers to go along with the rocking chairs out front. It was even better inside. It didn’t feel like a hotel. It felt like an upscale cozy lodge with a stone fireplace in the lobby and not the usual decor. It was quite welcoming and the staff were so pleasant and accommodating. Our room was clean. It was just outside the elevator so the light came under the door all night long, so if your someone who likes it pitch black, bring your eye mask. The sheets weren’t the softest I’ve had, but we only spent one night here before heading home. There is a pool with outdoor seating and a fitness center. They also have an airport shuttle that begins promptly at 4:30 am and took about 15 minutes for the ride that early in the day. A restaurant and bar are also in the lobby but we didn’t have a chance to eat there. There was plenty of seating here and throughout the lobby. I would definitely stay here again, I was so pleased with the property.

I was greeted by a wonderful concierge who told us about the amenities and gave us cookies. She was knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is massive. We went down to the bar and ordered food to go. It was hot and tasty. No complaints. We will stay again if we are in the area.
