    The check in was amazing. The lady at the desk was awesome. There are a couple things I have to say about our room. When we first walked in the door the smell of bleach was overwhelming and would not go away no matter what we did. The pillows on the bed were damp like they had been washed and not dried all the way, luckily we brought our own. The room just seemed like it had a damp feel to it. I had to take a shower before bed and first thing when I woke up due to feeling damp. The carpet did not smell the best. On my side of the bed I smelled an odor like vomit all night. We did not com[lain because it was late and the beautiful lady at the desk was very busy and did not need the hassle. It was a good stay overall, our room did not meet up to standards and I am not a picky person.

    We walked into the lobby and were hit by the overwhelming smell of mildew. We got lots of time to enjoy it because the desk staff was flummoxed by computer issues. Those issues continued to the credit card signature pad and the key encoding machine. We were treated to more bad smells in the elevator and the hallway, and got no respite in our room, which reeked of sweat and chlorine. The linens were all threadbare and there was no sign of the "upgraded rooms" advertised on the web site. My eyes were watering after only a few minutes in the room, and we called it quits. I turned in my key and we went and stayed at the Staybride Suites two doors down -- twice as expensive but not a danger to your health.

    Very quiet. Nice to be able to sleep with out noise. No soap in the room. We were dressing when housekeeping came by. They never came back, so waste baskets overflowed the second day.

    Our room was very clean. Especially impressed with clean, vacuumed hallways. Breakfast was very good. Even with two bus loads of passengers eating Sat morning, there was still plenty of food available. One night I wanted coffee & the front desk guy made a fresh pot!

    Breakfast was standard but good. Sometimes, some basic items ran out. Pool was nice, though several times in the afternoon there were numerous kids who admitted they weren't staying there. Room was very clean and cable was good. Staff were mostly helpful, except for one, but you get that anywhere. Bed was clean and comfortable. A good value that exceeded my expectations. I will certainly be back.

    Nice room and very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options and also included some hot food options. Free wifi and free parking. Lobby has free ice water as well which was nice to fill my water bottle.

    Didn't like the fact that housekeeping was every three days unless you requested it more often. Our stay was three-days and on the day of check out, housekeeping knocked on the door to tidy up the room. They did provide us with fresh towels during our stay.

    Overall a good place to stay for the money. Staff was friendly and helpful. They really need to get a new key card system at this hotel. Apparently their keys stop working if they get close to a cell phone or another card? Never heard of this but I had to get 4 new keys during my stay which started to get annoying.

    Nice roon Door keys did not work, even after reprogramming. Could not logon to wifi in the room. Took my Chromebook to the front desk and they could not log it on to wifi. Told me to try to logon to choice called back office. Still did not work. Never had this problem at other hotels.

    We came from High Point NC for our daughter’s graduation from UNC Chapel Hill, the location was perfect for the weekend. Breakfast was great, Beds and pillows were amazing and Very Clean. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely will stay here again when in this area!!!!

    I stayed at this hotel simply for its affordability and location to the UNC-Chapel Hill hospital. It was a basic type hotel, no frills. It did have a decent continental breakfast, and good internet wi-fi. Its location to restaurants, Walmart, Barnes and Noble etc, was good because you could walk to those if you were up to it. It did have a small pool but I didn’t use it and from my window I don’t think anyone else did either.

    I had to use the squeeze soap from the shower every time I wanted to wash my hands as there was no soap for the vanity area. There was no hair dryer as I had been accustomed to in hotels and no closet or area to hang clothes for the next day.

    Overall, our stay was fine. The room was clean and comfortable and the rate was good. However, I gave the lower rating for the Breakfast, which is very poorly managed. Everything was allowed to completely run out before it was replinished...food, juice, milk, etc. People were standing around waiting for food, and given it was a full hotel, the quantities required should have been anticipated. And the room was not kept cleaned up, with tables left dirty. There is also no trash can by the waffle irons to put the batter cups in so most people just leave the used ones on the counter. If we stay there again, we may choose to eat breakfast elsewhere to avoid a similar situation. The management of the Breakfast, in our opinion, was unacceptable and avoidable.

    The breakfast is fairly average. There isn’t much variety, so options feel a bit limited. The breakfast potatoes were also underwhelming, as they were only partially cooked and still somewhat hard. Overall, it’s okay for a quick bite, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

    We stay here every year for a local tournament. We love it because of the family suite option where I can provide for a quiet night for my competitor in one bed room with siblings in the other. The separate living room quarters are perfect and we love the peaceful feel of staying here on tournament weekend. The kids love the waffles and the home fried potatoes in the morning. I would have preferred scrambled eggs to the egg the way it was cooked as it was not very good, but that's nit picking. I didn't care about that very much.

    We had to change rooms due to a terrible mildew smell. The second room we got still had a damp mildew/moldy smell and there was a moldy film on the window. Not sure if the carpet has been cleaned and not dried and mildewed or what the issue was but it was not pleasant at all.

    Immediately upon entry to the lobby I noticed a distinct, icky smell - probably a mixture of smoke and I don’t even know what. The interior of the lobby was a little dingy and dated. Still, I continued on through check in even though the “computer was slow”and EVEN after being advised of a required $200 deposit because we booked through Expedia and not directly book with the hotel, which I thought was VERY odd. We finally got our room keys, made our way through stinky, DARK hallways to our room which was equally stinky and dingy and where the furniture was covered in a variety of mystery stains. Every single drawer in the room and the microwave was left all the way open - odd. The bathroom had a loud fan that ran constantly with no apparent on-off switch and the shower had a freaking mirror on the back wall, which seemed incredibly odd and creepy. After seeing the room we quickly searched for a better place to stay, secured a room elsewhere and promptly checked out about 30 minutes after checking in. Do not recommend and would not ever book here if in the area again.

    The only downside was the deposit of a hundred dollars required for the room because I paid for the reservation thru Expedia. The kicker is that they actually charge your card and then tell you they will issue a credit in 3-5 days. Seems kinda bad it takes 3-5 days to credit my card, when it took less than 3-5 seconds to charge the transaction.

    Very limited parking because of all the construction trucks taking up entire roads. Long dark hallway on the third floor. Constantly folks smoking outside the entryway… it stunk. I would not stay again- it was just me in town for work.

    We booked two rooms with our two boys each with two double beds. We received two rooms not next to each other and with king bed only. Never saw or had the room cleaned or towels for over two days. The basketball and football guests must have gotten them. We usually have a great time at your hotels. The gentleman in the breakfast area were very nice . Good coffee. Your room keys can be a little tricky.

    Trash bags were left in the hallway on the fourth floor where my room was located all night and through time for my checkout. Loud music was playing downstairs in the lobby after 10:00 pm and we had to call the front desk. Doors slamming through the night and in the early morning.

    Found roaches in the room both days we stayed. Had to get new keys each day as lock didn’t work. Toilet didn’t work. Asked at the desk if pool was open she said it was not even though it was 80 and not a cloud in the sky. Checked out a few hours later and a mentioned this again at the desk a maintenance man overheard me and said that the pool is open. Finally if you are checking out on a busy Sunday morning and no one is at the desk look just outside the door she is out on a smoke break.

    The only good thing about this place was the 2nd shift reception she was pleasant and the short distance to UNC for the game, the rest was down hill. Our beds was covered in pet hair we went directly back down to the desk and the hotel was booked so was so many others in the area due to the big game so we were offered new bed lining. I’m not anti-pet so changing the bed wasn’t a big deal but an inconvenience after traveling all day plus paying over $200 for the night. The water in the shower would not stay consistent it would go in and out hot and cold. We door dashed take out just so we could rest. Once the food was on the way we went to the drink machines in the hall and it didn’t work needless to say none in the building was in order so we were told to walk next door they had a on-site mini store another inconvenience at this point we just need a break. That’s not all!! We get our door dash didn’t finish all the food put it in the mini fridge to open the fridge the next morning to roaches in the fridge. I’m disgusted and over this place. We reported it to the front desk upon check out but was only offered a apology. Needless to stay we stopped at the coin laundry on our way home to dump everything in a steaming hot washer as I do not do BUGS nor wanted to take them home with me!!!!! Worse trip ever!

    When checking in the front desk lady was nice. After the football game which ended late, and when I turned down the bed I found stains and hair on the sheets. When I called the first desk I had to go get the new bedding from the front desk and make the bed myself when I found hair again. Additionally, the room did not have a fresh smell, the toilet had low pressure when flushed and at 3:11 a.m there was a false alarm. I stay at Comfort Inn often since my daughter is out of town student and by far this is the most unpleasant and uncomfortable stay.

    I paid 333 usd per night (stayed four nights) for a mediocre hotel room, with no other ventilation than an old AC. Housekeeping only did my room ONCE during my entire stay. The bathroom is inconveniently small, and the mattress is too old and soft. This IS NOT a 333 per night hotel.

    I would have given this hotel 3 stars, but not once did we get our room made up. We stayed four nights. If you want new towels you need to put out a note and check off boxes. The toilet is very short and doesn’t flush well. The breakfast is way better than I thought it would be and they did a great job. The staff are also very nice and helpful.

    This hotel has been great for us in the last two years that we've visited for the Dreamville Festival in Raleigh! It's very affordable and not too far from the park. The air quality in the room was a little uncomfortable this year. It was very stuffy and hard to breathe in our room.

    Great service from the get go. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Everything worked, the fridge, microwave, both tvs etc. There were a lot of stuff to choose from for breakfast and it was pretty tasty and hot. I will definitely be going back in the future when we go to games. It is also close to the Dean Center for games.

    The hotel is decent. I can tell it's been around for a while but they've put in some effort to keep things presentable. I had a one bedroom suit. The bathroom could use a slight update. It has a large mirror in the jacuzzi/shower that definitely needs to be removed.

    Elevator on the side of the hotel where I stayed was out of service. This was done to avoid unwanted people coming in. Also had to display hotel occupancy so not to get car towed. Felt unsafe.

    Was told it was just a few miles from the venue I needed to visit. It was more like 30 minute drive. Nothing special about the place for the price. Was turned off by not being able to check in until after 3PM after an 8 hour drive.

    During check in. I was given a room that was not done. The receptionist upgraded to a suite. Some of the electric outlets didn't work. Jacuzzi mirror was dirty. I didn't notice until the next day. There was a lip stick stain on mirror..(Like it was kissed). The remote in room did not work. It was a stench coming through the air vents. The walls are thin to where you could hear people's conversations and alarm clocks. The breakfast area was not clean cereal everywhere, waffle mix was all over the counter. Had to wait for food to be refilled at a slow pace..

    The property was fine, despite being slightly outdated for my taste. My true issue is with Expedia and their lack of communication. I was charged twice for my booking and no one seemed able to help me on either Expedia or the hotel's end. I was displeased and will not be using Expedia to book any longer.

    Price for the hotel was great since we only needed it for a night. It overall was clean. The hallways to the rooms are very dark and there are some definite upgrades or remodels that could be done to the place. AC in the room didn't work properly. When we changed the temp the whole thing just cut off. It came back on but would never get colder. The free breakfast worked for what we needed. Property is very convenient to restaurants and highways.

    The hotel is dated and smells. The worst part that housekeeping knocking on the door and letting themselves in at 9 in the morning. When letting the front desk aware of this they said that is the way things are done there. Never will stay here again

    The only down side to the room is the smell. I have stayed here previously in a suite and encountered the same issue. It seems to be coming from the AC unit. If the covers were taken off and be disinfected and vacuumed monthly, as well as using baking soda in the carpets regularly, Im sure it would disappear quickly.

    We had a good stay, no real complaints. The staff was nice and everything was clean. Issues: crazy shower head and slow draining tub, the sheets on the bed are wore slam out - not ripped or full of holes, but super thin, and the entry door at the base of the elevator is broken and does not lock. It would also be nice to have a real coffee cream on the buffet - Coffee Mate is not the same. For the price and location, I'd probably stay there again.

    The ok: pillows need more variety thick- thin, desk staff efficient but not especially friendly The bad: room deodorizer stank like old popcorn butter and feet, breakfast was over crowded, understocked, powdered eggs, no bread, coffee ran out, definitely not eco-friendly with single use plastics, etc.

    We were there for college orientation. Right away disappointed. Carpets were dirty and hotel smelled like cigarettes. Room was the same. Bathroom was dirty and toilet barely flushed. Some staff were friendy but not very helpful. They said there was a free shuttle to UNC but was only availble to us once (driver was super nice tho). Loud party outside our room at 1:30 am and then yelling and running thru hallway at 6am. Elevators had dirt on the floor. Everything in hotel seemed dark. Def would never stay here again :(

    There was confusion at the front desk as we use a third part to book the hotel with the understanding that if we provided 24 hour advance notification of an early departure that there would be no charge. The front disk couldn't or didn't want to honor that and charged an early departure fee. We won't be staying at any of your properties in the future..

    We had got the family suite and it was so nice, big and clean. We had two full bathrooms which was a plus and each room including the sitting room had tv’s. I would book again. The front desk clerk that checked me in was excellent and so nice!

    The front desk woman was rude. The towels had holes in them. The shower had a mind of its own, first blasting hot, then blasting cold then hot then cold. Not an enjoyable shower. And the room was surface clean. I dropped something on the floor, looked under the bed and it had sooo many dust bunnies. I would not recommend.

    The power immediately goes out. Fine, things happen. We had a show to get ready for and couldn’t get ready so then we had to go elsewhere. Upon the lights coming back on, we see how dirty the room is with foot prints of dirt in the tub, dust everywhere, a weird smell. The AC didn’t work. We were told at checkout to call the manager for refund due to issues and this child of an adult is like well why are you calling me and I don’t care and everything else. DO NOT STAY HERE.
