Really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. The breakfast was very substantial and varied one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel great kitchen staff great night shift check-in clerk. Will definitely stay there again.

Our family had a great stay at the Durango Hampton by Hilton. The staff were excellent, the rooms very nice and clean, and the breakfast set up was fantastic. Our kids loved the pool and whirlpool too! When we’re back in Durango, we’ll be staying here again!

Better room coffee

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. The location was quiet. Breakfast was good with a variety. Our son enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We had a suite, it was much smaller than I expected. The place could use some updating. Overall a nice place.

Property was very centrally located and convenient to dining. Employee was very helpful to recommend dinner spot.

As with the other Hamptons on our journey, needs more lighting in the room to help with better use of leisure areas.

A wonderful stay! A few days before arriving, I got engaged, and when the staff heard about it, they showered me with congratulations. Champagne and a congratulatory note from the Durango team were waiting for us in the room. I’ll have very good memories of this stay! Very clean, plenty of amenities, a pool, laundry facilities, and wonderful people. Breakfast was included in the room rate, which was also a big plus. Thank you!

The location was great, the staff is very friendly and nice, and the room was clean and very comfortable. Loved the tea and coffee available in the lobby. Loved that we could get passes to the rec center if we wanted to work out (didn’t have time to take advantage of that benefit).

Nate was extremely helpful at the desk and Kathy was so great in the breakfast area!! Everyone was so kind and friendly. It was nice to see somewhere that still cares about customer service.

The breakfast was amazing, staff was helpful and friendly, check in and out was easy. There is no microwave in the room but there is one in the lobby. $20 check in fee but gets returned after stay. No parking fees and plenty of parking spaces.

Hotel was quiet and rooms clean with comfortable bed. Staff and breakfast were great. Appreciated restaurant recommendations. We ended up downtown and got to see what the town had to offer. Loved the area in general.

Will definitely stay there again

Breakfast was hot and plenty of food. The newly remolded area we stayed in was very nice. Should have more towels in the rooms instead of having to ask the front desk person. In fact we ran into a guest, (Just after my wife send me down to get 2 more towels) that we spoke to durning our stay that said they checked in with a family of four with only 2 towels. Come on!

Room was good, breakfast good. Was able to use community center for workout room, but I always expect a workout room to be at the hotel for any Hampton Inn.

Pool was closed and there was no communication when we were shopping hotels to stay at.

Nate at the front desk was AMAZING! I have never had such a pleasant check in. He greeted us with a smile. Gave us options on room choice and was just over all happy to be there. It even got busy at that time frame and he never once faulted on his positive attitude. Thank you for being awesome Nate!

clean room, great staff

The room was dirty when e checked in. There was blood on the light switches. The shower had dirt in the bottom of it. The desk had crumbs and grease. Check in took longer than I hoped. There was only one luggage cart and everytime it was needed it wasn’t there. I probably won’t stay here again.

the room was in decent condtition, and the staff was nice. There was however a mistake between Expedia and the hotel and i did not get the room i requested. Had reserved a suite and got downgraded to a double queen since there were booked. Since Expedia and the hotel dont talk to each other i got the hard end of the deal with a smaller room.

The staff was amazing! Very courteous and attentive! I highly recommend this hotel!

The room and hotel overall was very clean. The coffee in the room was terrible. Employees were very nice. They only have paper cups in the rooms. I was comfortable. I just thought Hampton Inn used to be a step above some of the others but it's really pretty basic but ok for a night.

Cleanest hotel I've been in for a while. The pool was great. Only downside from our room was the bathroom door didn't lock and the shower drained slowly. I went an hour and a half after they started serving breakfast and it was still really good.

This was one of the best places we stayed on our trip. Everything about it was great, including local transportation, cleanliness, comfort. Great breakfast. The only issue is they don’t have a bar.

Great place at the north end of Durango

Not sure how many of the rooms are remodeled but the one we got was and was very nice. They have a good morning breakfast and while they don't have a fitness center onsite, they provide free access to the well-equipped Durango Rec Center just a mile down the street - if you're looking for weights or some post-hiking light exercises. Hadn't stayed there before but would definitely recommend.

Room location even after request with 2 kids was terrible next to exit door. The window view was like a wall outside it and it felt like u are in a fortress covered with wall.

The room I stayed in, room 210, needs new carpeting. I cut open my toe at the foot of the bed because of an exposed staple in the carpet.

Stayed 2 nights if a 9 night trip. Third Hampton Inn stay of those nights. Always find them clean, updated and includes breakfast which the grandsons really enjoyed. We all loved the waffle maker. Good value overall.

A nice clean hotel good for getting to Purgatory, clean with breakfast and coffee in the room. Same as all other Hampton Inn experiences.

They had one of the best breakfast we had at motels. The first day they had biscuits and gravy and sausage and boiled eggs. The second day they had omelet and sausage. They also had mini waffles and all the toppings you could want to put on them. My grandkids loved it! They also had the usual things to like yogurt, fruit, cereal. They offered hot choc, juice and coffee. The rooms was clean, staff was wonderful and pool was nice.

1st room heater didnt work , 2nd room had a noise that sounds like loud ac compressor kicking on and off . It was clean , parking was so so . People and service was great .

The front desk staff was always helpful and kind, the last morning there was NO breakfast due to staff, although they could’ve offered a continental breakfast at the least, this caused us (family of 6) to spend more than $50 that we weren’t expecting

Everything was good except they didn’t do the housekeeping on the second day of our stay even after we asked for it. The front desk said that it got too busy.

Convenient for heading up to the mountain. Shampoo was completely empty upon arrival with no extras in the room. It was like the beds were changed and not much effort into cleaning the room. Wasnt necessarily dirty but just ehhh!

When we did get to our room there were no towels or drinking cups of any kind, and had to get these ourselves from the lobby and laundry stock room. In addition to the above issues, the sheets were scratchy and stiff, the guest elephants above us were annoying, and we had someone banging at our door at 6am.

When we arrived we were told that the room was not ready due to a staffing problem. Instead of having staff work to get the room i booked ready the manager on duty offered me and my wife candy and soft drinks as an appeasement. To clarify I booked a handicapped room. The on duty manager eventually offered me a regular king room that i just took because i was so tired. I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes before i hot a room, and the on duty manager did nothing else to make it right.

Overall experience was great. Staff made our stay comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay and smooth experience from start to finish!

Only problem was the lack of housekeeping for two days in a row.

Other than the pot smoking in the building, none of the usb ports working in the room, and having to sign up with the company rewards program for free WiFi, our stay was good.

Quiet area with the Rover park close but and 7 min drive to downtown

Our room did not have a good view. However the customer service was very friendly and helpful. Pillows were too soft for us.

This place was nearly perfect. Awesome breakfast is served. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The only thing missing was a small microwave in the room as in other places.

Great location. Fantastic staff! Only frustrating thing is this hotel was not full so don’t know why they would put you right nextdoor to another room. The people next-door were loud and had kids running all over the place. Would’ve been nice if we were a few doors down from them.

Bad: ac unit was loud, I did an early checkin with a pet and still ended up on the 3rd floor. No microwave in the room. Passed two homeless meth heads in the hallway first thing in the morning. Smokers outside the front door first thing in the morning. No half and half at the morning breakfast. No grassy space to walk my dog. Lastly I was woke up in the middle of the night to people being loud, it was 1:30. Bottom line I splurged by spending more money at this hotel and the bang wasn’t worth the buck. I will never stay here again.

A good place for an overnight stay. Near downtown Durango, right on Hwy 550. Good parking, and many carts to bring belongings to the room. Nice size room, with big tv, and decent toiletries. We had a big king size bed, which was too soft for my liking, but I slept well, having nice blackout shades. We didn’t have time for the pool or hot tub. Breakfast offered many basic options, and was nice to have available.

Quiet, easy to sleep well. Its location was inconvenient as it was on the outskirts of town.

I asked for clean towels and garbage pick up after our first night and they never came. The room noise was horrible. Heard the elevator motor all the time. Could hear Someone in the room above us just walking.

It was Hampton clean, but it was not Hampton Big. It reminded me of a remodel Days Inn no microwave in the room and the rooms are small . If I were Hampton Inn, I would take my name off That building!! was disappointed for the price I paid..

The smell was overwhelming, starting in the lobby and continuing to the room. It was so bad we did not spend the night. Absolutely awful property. There was also a cyclical buzzing noise in the room.

They worked with us very well on our check in. We had an issue on our end, and they cheerfully corrected it for us. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service.

My tub was not cleaned and still had water and hair in it. There was a little nightlight plug in the bathroom which was nice but in the morning i noticed it was burnt on the back. Yikes.

Hotel was very clean and quiet & dog friendly. It was tough to get to the dog relief area and the space was overgrown and a bit treacherous.
