Very nice hotel. Reviews prior to our stay seemed to be accurate. Staff was all super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was hot in the mornings and well stocked. Our room was clean and had a nice odor, did not smell dirty. Beds were comfortable. We stayed 4 nights while visiting our daughter and son in law who is stationed at JBLM and enjoyed our stay. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Unlike most other hotels with these amenities, the pool area did not smell of chlorine or chemicals, and neither did the lobby of the hotel which typically does when there is a pool nearby. The pool area was indoor but had a great ventilation system which did a wonderful job of keeping the pool smell minimal. The pool and hot tub were both clean and the pool area was fully stocked on towels both days we used it. If I had to find one "complaint" it would be that the hallway carpets could be vacuumed more frequently. I only heard a vacuum cleaner once the 4 nights/5 days we were there and it was not done in the hall, it was being used to clean a guest room. After housekeeping finished and left the floor, the carpet was still in need of a vacuuming. Otherwise, a great stay and will absolutely stay again! And as an added bonus, our 3rd floor room had a phenomenal view of Mt. Renier.

The assistant manager and another staff lady were great though. Our room was over the pool and hot tub, which made it stay pretty warm in our room and we had to run the A/C unit all the time. Breakfast was good, with different options both days. The property is in a great location to be able to walk to many different restaurants. Overall good stay and would recommend.

Expedia rating is misleading. We took this hotel basef on the excellent review given on Expedia app. The hotel was not clean at all, especially the corridors were dirty and the bathroom in the room. There was a bad smell in the room which was suffocating. We stayed 2 nights only because we did not had another option in a unknown place.

I have used this hotel for my employees and myself for business trips amd the staff is great? Clean rooms and accommodating, with great amenities.

My hubby went down around 8:00 am for some fruit and he said when he got down there, people were acting like animals around the food and he just turned around and came back. I take medication and need something so he went back down around 8:30 and was able to grab some sausage and eggs, which were great! I felt sorry for the staff as these people were acting like wild animals. No fault to the staff! I really wanted to relax in the hot tub, which at the time was closed due to maintenance, but totally understandable.

The location was great, near I-5, but quiet, and there were choices of restaurants very nearby. The staff were friendly and there was a great breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. No complaints. The bathrooms showed a few signs of age.

This time pool was closed and hot tub I called within 5 minutes getting a email and still got charged!! Would i visit agian yes 5 stars!!!

They were doing construction on the pool and hot tub so we couldn't use those. Also, they were painting the halls, but that didn't seem to effect us. The breakfast was okay. I did like that they had water, tea, coffee anytime throughout our stay. Overall, it was a good stay. I would stay here again if in the area.

I like that it's a very unique property with very spacious rooms. Theres plenty of room to breath and sleep, and some rooms have a full kitchen. Very accommodating and clean. The breakfast is very good and you get a lot of room space, clean washer and dryer, and not a lot of foot traffic.

The hotel had a musty odor but looked clean. The entryway was a mix of 1980's meets colonial south The evening attendant was kind but pressured. They said the same rehearsed dialogue for each one of us checking in. One surprise was that we selected this hotel over the others, it was due to the fact they advertised 24-7 pool and spa. This was not the case. Even though it was clearly advertised as available amenity it was closed. Drained and bone dry, not even humidity or moisture on the windows. When the elevator door opened we were greeted with the strong smell of mildew. The room was worse. We immediately tried airing out the rooms. To make things worse, the first blast of water out of the faucet was air with mold mixed chlorine. For those with severe allergies or compromised immune systems, this is not the hotel for you. It cost me a week of asthmatic related issues and s trip to the ER

Good selection of restaurants within walking distance, close to Interstate 5. The lighting was very dim and harsh in our room. I think all the led bulbs were 60 watt daylight. Some of the Pillows were like cardboard.

It was advertised on Expedia that this hotel had a pool. Sure, it had a pool, an empty pool. Same with the Jacuzzi. So much for packing bathing suits. The hotel itself wasn’t very clean and there weren’t many amenities other than soap and shampoo. It was very clear to us from the very beginning that this hotel is struggling stay afloat. We were shocked they even offered breakfast. i’d highly recommend staying elsewhere.

The room was okay, I found a pistachio shell under the heating/AC unit. There was no hot tub or pool, it was closed due to maintenance I am not sure how long it has been closed for. The staff were polite. The breakfast was okay. I wish they offered something other than honey bunches of oats as some people have a nut allergy. I feel like they could use another waffle maker. Overall it served its purpose. Would have liked another garbage can in the bigger rooms that accommodate more people. The room that I was in the door was also improperly placed as you could see light through the door crack by the frame, and the blinds did not close all the way so you got some light into the room I had to use a clip to close it.

Staff had excellent customer service. The housekeepers were always willing to help get extra towels or toiletries if needed without fuss or attitude. Breakfast was great. My only complaint would be that the pool heater was broken the 5 days we stayed. We did lose our deposit due to unfortunate circumstances with my teenage daughter being on her period and messing up some towels and sheet but luckily they didn’t charge extra for that although i could have bleached the stains out but that’s okay was just bummed as we we’re kind of depending on getting it back but stuff happens. The location is great there is good places to eat within walking distance. Overall a great stay! Friendly staff and cleanliness makes all the difference when it comes to hotels and restaurants for sure!

Enjoyed the hot tub, and the continental "plus" breakfast that included a few hot breakfast foods, yogurt, and make-your-own-waffles, which are a special treat! This is a cute, basic, but friendly and clean hotel in a great spot that’s not too busy, friendly staff and a forest behind with the sound of frogs to lull you to sleep. There is a drive thru Starbucks off the parking lot and a gas station right there. It was a perfect spot to spend the night while driving down the 5. A good basic breakfast, waffle maker, eggs, breads, fruit etc. Room had soap, coffee, fridge, sink and a microwave. I’ll definitely stop there again when I’m driving through.

The room was wonderful and we really enjoyed the jetted tub in our room. But breakfast was ghastly. The eggs were obviously powdered and even then seemed like they had been cooked earlier and reheated. The hash browns were also the texture of something reheated. Not worth eating.

We were doing a lot of outdoor activities and didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. But the breakfast was very good and the staff was extremely helpful and treated us like human beings.

WiFi advertised but not provided... Service in public areas, but WiFi was out of range in our room and management was aware of it for our room and at least one other. A maintenance person confirmed no wifi on first day and said they would work on getting it fixed by moving a router, but through 4 nights of stay, there was no wifi for us.

Staff are always so friendly and personable when I stay at this property. At check-in, they smile and make you feel welcome. I stay at this property at least once a month. The facility is very clean, inside and outside. I’ve never had any issues with the rooms, they are always clean.

Didnt use business facility. The only complaint i have is that the pool was not as warm as we are use to it being. Been going to that hotel for 3 years and this time the water was to cold for me to swim. That's what we chose this hotel for, was the warm pool.

I've stayed at Fairbridge in Dupont numerous times now. The TV's in their standard rooms are on the small size, but that's the biggest negative i could give! The rooms are really nice and the hotel overall is very clean. Their staff is top notch.

The facility is what Motel 6 was 30 years ago and more. Similar quality but a bigger room, a frig and microwave, and a very decent breakfast. Will you confuse this with a Hilton? No. but quite comfortable. Worth $100+ in 2026 dollars? I wish it were not so much but fear that the $6 I used to spend at Motel 6 just aint the same these days.

This hotel was well managed and the employees were great, especially the guy at the front desk. The hotel is aged and it shows but also is why it is very inexpensive. The pool and hot tub was nice and clean, u could tell they have a good maintenance person who cares. watch out for Police around Dupont, they are freaks giving out tickets on random roads where u dont know the speed limit for going 10 mph or less - so ridiculous

Staff was great. Got to the room peeled the blankets back and the top sheet had someones dna on it. Slept on top of the blankets fully clothed. Bed was comfortable.

Pros: friendly staff, pool, good breakfast, coffee and tea available all day, comfortable bed. Cons: this hotel is very poorly built so unless you stay on the 3rd floor, you hear your upstairs neighbors stomping the entire time and kids yelling, screaming and running with pets in their rooms and hallways. NOT quiet or relaxing.

Front desk person was very cold. Wanted to charge $50 for checking in 40 minutes early - never smiled. Had food delivered to front desk- she never called the room to let us know food was delivered. We called restaurant they said food was delivered about 40 minutes earlier. We had to go to the front desk to get it. Also, only one set of utensils in room. Floor in front of front desk was wet - my daughter slipped twice - no attempt was made to mop the floor. Tried to call front desk three times- no one answered. Breakfast was not very good.

The only thing I would say needed improvement was that the WiFi kept dropping and the window was left open. We were on the 1st floor so it was concerning to think it had been left open the couple days before we realized. Overall, a decent stay!

WARNING ROOM 303 had BED BUGS and the hotel charged me for the nights I did not stay and the management was extremely rude. The manager at the front desk called me racist just because I couldn’t understand her hard accent. I am in an interracial marriage so I’m certainly not a racist.

This place unremarkably does the job. The halls don’t smell the best, and the hot tub was more on the lukewarm side, but other than that no complaints. Room was comfy and a good temperature. If you need somewhere to stop and don’t want to risk it at a motel with bedbugs, the FairBridge is a solid option.

The only bad part really was having to pay a $120 deposit. And having to wait a while to get it put back on my card. But hopefully It will be on there soon. Oh and another awesome thing I must add..... Their pool is open 24 hours a day. That is amazing.

The lady at the front desk who checked me in was super friendly and helpful. I couldn't find the elevator and she took the time to walk me to it. Once I got in the room I was very impressed with how clean and roomy it was. I Plan to stay here again soon.

The staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast ends at 9am regardless of the weekend. I had to kill a few bugs coming in through the window. Water didn't get hot, just warm. Shower curtains are dated and needs to be replaced. Housekeeping was great but there was a squished dead bug on the wall the entire time

Large clean room, easy access from interstate

I have stayed at this hotel before. Last time I stayed there there was so much noise in the room next door we had to call the office a few times in the middle of the night. This time there were bugs that looked like flying cockroaches flying around the room, I called the front office the only rooms they had available to switch with were in the family area and I was there to get some peace and quiet. We were told to send pictures to the manager and he would be in in the morning. When we spoke to him his response was there are no health risks with these kind of bugs, maybe a little inconvenience but no health risks. No discount no apology no comp in any way. Very disappointed in the customer service from the management. Other staff were amazing.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was decent. The biggest drawbacks were the noise and the check in process. The noise wasn’t due to unruly guests, just poor construction. At check in, they make you sign three pages in which you consent to being charged extra if you leave excess mess. Who wants to give advance consent to being charged extra without notice or an opportunity to dispute the charges?

The room and staff were pretty on par. The Continental breakfast was definitely fair, but nothing over the top. The orange juice was better than then normal dispenser kind.

Desk Reps/Staff were Helpful, & Prompt. Room was good, & I enjoyed my Stay. A Bonus was that an EVgo Charging Station was conveniently located just across the Street from the Hotel.

We didn't get to enjoy any amenities, as we stayed just one night. It was very quiet, bed was super comfortable and the continuous fan actually stayed on consciously (I use it for sleep). Very pleased with our stay, we'll be back.

Booked this for my parents who are elderly and mobility challenged. Elevator and hallways were good and not difficult for them. Wished they had one more elevator as it got mildly busy (but no more than about a 4 min wait). Staff was efficient and kind - delivered extra blankets to room when we asked. Also, my dad liked the walk ability of area (he can get around better than my mom who needs a walker). Not a super fancy place but clean and comfortable. Only other wish, though, is that they had more/better lighting in the room as my parents like to read.

The free breakfast was good; they had staple items like eggs, cereal and milk, yoghurt (little personal ones like basic Yoplait), some fruit, toast, bagels, and a waffle station. Some items changed daily, like bacon, sausages, biscuits, etc.

Apart from that, its a great location, really nice & clean, close to a lot of food places. Free parking, swimming pool, gym....what more could you want? I highly recommend this hotel!

We stay here every time we come to the area. Most recently, my youngest (an adult, but in their first year of college) and a friend stayed here after a concert in Seattle. It felt good as a parent knowing they were in a safe place -- and would get a solid breakfast before driving back to their school!

I came up from California to visit a family friend. Had no clue where Dalton is. Be advised it's next to a huge military base. So many types of restaurants from fast food, to different levels of pizza, a really amazing Bistro and so many different options. All within walking distance of this Hotel. Many other services available in the immediate area. I was only there to sleep. The breakfast options were beyond lack luster. A waffle maker and three hot tubs with sausages, some kind of bread looking thing and hash brown things. Coffee from a percolator. I did expect more. Pool and spa where clean. Staff was really nice. Room was clean but obviously well used. I would stay there again in the future but will look for better accommodations for that price range.

Asked for additional coffee pods and was told the hotel had completely run out…….

We walked to a great local Irish pub for dinner and had a pleasant 4 minute walk back. Very safe streets and well lit. The room looked and smelled clean. Not dated or well used. The breakfast in the morning was just enough to satisfy our two hungry teenagers and us. Sausage, French toast, hash browns, hot and cold cereal, juices, bagels, bread, English muffins, pastries, waffle maker, fruit and yogurt. The beds were nice and comfortable. I liked how we all had our own space. The hot tub and pool were a plus and we enjoyed the continental breakfast.

This was a great hotel. We stayed 5 nights. Pool and hot tub so nice after hiking. Free breakfast offered lots of choices including fresh fruit. Clean. Quiet and Comfy.

This hotel is fairly new. They are tucked in a new development with other businesses. The gas station was 30 seconds from the door of the hotel. There was a Pizza Hut, a barbecue place, a jack in the box, and two or three other eating establishments. There was a refrigerator, safe, microwave, and iron and ironing board in the room. The hotel had an indoor pool they had the standard breakfast for a chain hotel with the usual suspects like sausages, scrambled eggs, orange juice, coffee, yogurt, waffle maker, fresh fruit, and cereal. It was all good and breakfast starts at 6 AM, which is good if you’re going to Mount Rainier national Park, which was 77 miles away, but it turns out I probably needed to leave five in the morning to get a parking space near the Paradise visitor center. It was a great stay. Everything was clean. The room was big.

The staff were very nice and welcoming. We stayed 3 days and loved the food choices within walking distance. We highly recommend the Pho and sushi place. Our king size bed was so comfortable. We both slept so good. The towels were soft and there were plenty, which was great as we got the room with the jetted tub. We were very happy with our stay.

Where do I start? 0 would be the appropriate rating for this establishment. When you book on Expedia you have the option of pay when you arrive and for me that’s always the best choice for security reasons. I like to know what I’m being charged for and when I will be charged. I selected this option for my stay on 8/9 and everything was fine mind you I also booked my room in advance which was the jacuzzi room which I understand is super popular however I reserved the room with ample time. So check in is between 3pm and 3 am according to their policy, I get there at 6:30 pm to check in and am greeted by an incredibly rude front desk staff member who informs me that they cancelled my reservation due to me not paying!!!! They also stated they had called me to get payment stating that my payment did not go through earlier that morning before check in time, uhm hello I selected pay at property you are not authorized to run my payment if I am not there! They then told me they cancelled due to feeling like they may lose money for me not paying. This is why I picked pay at property so I could be there when getting charged! I asked if they had any other rooms since we lived 2 hours away and they said nope all booked! I asked to speak with a manager and the very unfriendly staff member called her said I was upset and the manager refused to speak with me and said “well you already explained why her room was canceled”. Such professionalism (eye roll) these people are scammers 100%!

We are actually still here. We have enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay. The beds are extremely comfortable, the free breakfast is great. They change the menu each day. One day it is biscuits and gravy with link sausages and hash browns. Next day it’s scrambled eggs, link sausages and hash browns. There is a waffle maker, instant oatmeal, danish, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, orange juice, apple juice, water, bananas and oranges. There is a nice pool and hot tub which are open 24 hrs per day. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 7 am. There is a form you are required to sign regarding quiet time. They are pet friendly. We sometimes have difficulty finding a hotel where cats are welcome and they are quite welcome here. The cat fee is quite steep but worth it to have your whole family travel with you. The room is a nice size and has accommodated our family of 4 adults and 2 cats. We have a microwave and mini fridge. The room was clean except the bathroom so I just scrubbed the tub, and sink and we were ready to go. The staff are very nice and friendly. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Nice sized room and bed but the lack of lamps for lighting options and the worlds smallest tvs for both rooms made it seem kind of cheap.

Really nice hotel and some rooms have a kitchen as well. The only thing to remember is that the hotel is near a military base so if you plan to order food (Qdoba to be exact) make sure it’s not a food place on the base because you wont be let in to pick up the food.

Expensive for what you get, but still nice. Breakfast was ok. Sheets, and bathroom weren't perfect, but good enough to be useable. Pool and hotub were fun.

Great family stay. The room was large enough for 2 adults and 4 kids. Very clean and had everything we needed. Beds very comfy. Good size pool for the kids. Breakfast had numerous options plus a protein option every day. Staff was very helpful and courteous. We would stay here again.

I checked into this place for a week long stay and there was dirty underwear in the room closet and also another found in the bedsheets. Quite disturbing. The last day they had us switch rooms which was really inconvenient. I wish they would have done that when dirty clothes were found. The breakfast is just ok. Lots of amenities around the hotel but the I-5 traffic in that area is horrible.

While the breakfast had several choices there didn't seem to be a hostess that wiped down sticky tables or replenished supplies as people came out of their rooms to eat. I noticed many foods were gone before the 9:00 closing time, while people were still wanting to eat.

Stayed here 3 times in the past year. It's convenient, quiet, nice, comfortable and will be back again.

Great Location. Good breakfast. I appreciated the signs reminding people of quite hours and kids should not running or jumping in the rooms. These signs are posted everywhere. We arrived an hour early and was allowed to check in early. Pizza place was walking distance and was really good. Clean and up to date. Highly recommend and we would stay again.

But our biggest complaint was the noise rules. We understand basic etiquette in hotels and quiet hours but this place makes you sign a form acknowledging that you could be kicked out if too much noise. As previously stated, we have a toddler, and they put us on the 2nd floor apparently straight above people who don’t like ANY noise. We received a call within 20 minutes of arriving for the evening due to noise… at 9:15pm. I requested a new room and they couldn’t make it happen. We didn’t receive any more complaints, but we felt way to strict on our kids and how much they can move. That was a total bummer for a fun family hotel stay. I’m not sure why the pool is open 24hours but the property requires utter silence.

The property was decent but a bit outdated. And there were stains on the bedding and furniture. Staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was decent but could have used some variety.

The young lady who checked us in,Alexis was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was very large and comfortable with a separate bedroom, the said bedroom a/c was rather poor unlike the one in the main room.Only problem with the room having a small kitchen was the lack of crockery,2 plates and 4 glasses.Breakfast items could have done with a bit more variety.

This hotel is nice, just a bit older. The beds were comfy and my kids loved the pool.

The hotel staff were lovely and let us check in earlier than regular check-in time, which wasn't expected, but much appreciated. Our room was large and comfortable. We especially appreciated having a fridge and microwave, for reheating leftovers in the evening. The people above us were pretty stompy, but other than that, our stay was pleasant and we slept really well. Would love to see large haircare products instead of the single-use shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Love having makeup wipes available though. Would stay again.

Easy check in, clean and quiet

Staff was very friendly.

Checkin was easy, the pool was nice, the room was clean and served my needs.

Disliked: hearing upstairs guests stomping, white bits coming out of tub faucet with water, badly scratched bathroom sink.

Finally, the breakfast is awful. The eggs are fake (powdered), hash browns stale and overcooked. They ran out of coffee every morning and did not replenish. I'll need to stay in a hotel in this area from time to time over the next several months, but I won't be staying here again. Disappointed.

A great family friendly hotel! There is a 24 hour indoor pool with floaties and safety vests for kids. The gym is small but 24 hrs and great for simple workouts. Our room and bathroom were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
