    For those with pets, all areas of grass were full of sticky weeds and burrs. There is no way to walk a dog without spending 20 minutes cleaning up the mess afterwards.

    Looks nothing like the pictures online. The majority of the hotel doesn't have doors or windows and is stacked up with old furniture and garbage. Pool is empty. Bugs in the dresser.

    The staff was wonderful & the room was spacious and clean but there was no hot water for the shower, no coffee, the bathroom outlet did not work and the internet was not connected consistently. The television kept losing signal. The room was very clean. No staff after 11 pm until 9 or 10 am. There was a barricade in front of my room I had to move to enter the room. I won’t be back & I go to this area weekly.

    Do not stay or book here. Everything went wrong. Our room had no lock on the inside, bugs were crawling everywhere, our blankets were stained, the toilet seat cover was too small for the hole and cracked. We could not stay here and had to go else where. They also refused to refund me.

    Would not recommend this hotel for a stay! It is understandable renovations need to be done while still operating a business. However, this hotel was far from ready to host guests. Pictures posted on Expedia were misleading. For a roadside motel security was a concern, as the lock did not function properly, the curtains had holes in them and did not fit the window. It appeared the room was very recently furnished and improperly at that. The nightly rate did not reflect the quality or standard of accommodations provided for this area! We walked out with no refund in sight!

    This was an awful experience. The pool had no water in it just sludge and geeen stuff. The staff was barely available, and half the rooms were under construction. And the ones that weren’t were not well-kept nor was it a comfortable place to be with a lot of sketchy people all over the premises. I wouldn’t suggest this MOTEL to anyone.

    The first room that we were provided had a huge gaping hole in the bottom of the door. Huge lizards and bugs were in the room. We switched the second day because they were fully booked on the first day and we had nowhere else to go. They also had zero towels and washcloths in the first room, which makes me think it wasn't even cleaned. Then the second room had one towel, but that was it for our 3 day stay. They also say they have a pool, but it's black and hasn't been cleaned in 5 years I bet. They also have a checkout at 10 AM. I've never seen that at any hotel, so I didn't even think about it when we were leaving at 11. That's so weird.

    This hotel had king rooms and double queen rooms available on your website. I booked a King room. I drove up to locked doors. When I called the number on the door, a very rude lady came out, no smiles, very angry and said sorry we have no rooms available. But I had just booked 20 minutes prior. I was on the phone with Hotels.com and after 30 minutes they got me a room down the street with another hotel. Beware of this hotel.

    Avoid This Place – Dishonest and Rude Staff I had a terrible experience with this hotel and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I booked my stay through Expedia and paid in full in advance. When I arrived, the front desk was closed (around 4 PM!) and I had to call a number posted outside to check in. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude from the start and claimed there was no reservation under my name. I told her I booked through Expedia, but she dismissed me and said the price I paid online ($40–$45) wasn’t their rate, and tried to charge me again by saying she is going to come to check me in but you gonna owe me money. While Expedia already charged my card for $73.65. To make matters worse, when I reported this to Expedia, the hotel lied and said they were just asking for a deposit. That is absolutely false — they never mentioned a deposit, just flat out said I’m going to have to pay an additional amount to stay and I just hang up on her while on property. Expedia refused to refund me, so I ended up paying for a reservation I couldn’t use. Totally unprofessional and dishonest behavior from the hotel and very disappointing support from Expedia. Stay away from this place. Not worth the stress or the money. Expedia are you scamming your customers now? What about the price you see for your stay is what you pay?

    The room was for my son it’s ok but the check-in process was not good No one was there and when the lady did arrive she made me nervous stating she has no more rooms and been booked for a couple of months. Stated 3rd party need to update.. I gave her my confirmation and since I already paid and it was at there rate she gave me a room.     I’m so sorry - I never ever write reviews but omg this “hotel” was horrible. I stayed for the weekend visiting family and literally used this hotel just to sleep and shower. First thing when I walked in the light switch didn’t work, none of the lamps were connected. Everything seemed poorly cleaned, room was so old and not kept up. The inner locks on the door were broken, didn’t have a trash bucket for the room, no tissues, the plug by the sink didn’t work, the ironing board didn’t even have a cover, the remote to the tv didn’t work. Only two super thin towels per room and when I requested another one, they only said sorry no. Normally hotels leave 4 towels per room but whatever. No, this place is horrible, I would dispute the charge on my card but when I got there they said the system was down and they could only accept cash. Fishy btw… - please save your money.

    Hotel is nothing like pictured. There is no fridge or microwave. Only two towels for family of 3. Every other room is open, missing locks. The TV does not work. There is no pool, actually the pool is half empty, green, with frogs living in it. There were people smoking weed on the stairs, half naked people sitting outside their rooms. People talking loudly in the middle of the night by our room. The lobby was closed when we checked in, i had to stay outside and check in thru a dark window... Very uncomfortable, considering how the hotel looks when you first get there. I did not feel safe.

    THEY DON'T HONOR EXPEDIA RESERVATIONS. I got there 15 minutes before they said they closed the front desk. It was locked up.     The hotel was under renovation. The host Francesca was very nice and professional. She was single handedly managing the front-desk and the renovation work at the same time. The room was comfortable and clean however it was missing some amenities like some place to hang clothes and an ironing board and a hair dryer( these amenities are usually provided in hotels at this price range). Other them that it was a nice stay and I would come again.

    Upon arrival at 9pm I was advised that my reservation had been canceled.They said that when I made my reservation through Travelocity that their bookings were full. Although I was still charged for my room and never received any notification that my reservation was canceled. Even the day I was supposed to check in I got a welcome email. Then the day I was supposed to check out I got a thank you email. So at 9pm I had to drive home 3 hours away because I didn't have the funds to get another hotel room for the night. Keep in mind the parking lot was empty at this hotel so I find it hard to believe they didn't have any availability. Very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone. Then I spent over an hour on the phone with Travelocity to get a refund because that's who the motel told me to call. They had no knowledge of any of this and I got no where. I had to call my credit card company and file a dispute to get my money back. Never again will I use Travelocity or this motel.

    Upon arrival the hotel let us know they would be charging us an extra 30$. Our door didn’t even have a working deadbolt. The black sheets were dirty and the 1 towel we were given looked like it came in from someone’s home. Holes in the curtains, incredibly lumpy pillows-GIANT trump flag flying from a flagpole outside. Everything smelled. The toilet paper wasn’t even on the roll. It felt like the front desk clerk was going to put that extra 30$ right in her pocket. For 115$ opt to stay somewhere with clean rooms and breakfast.

    The room could have been showed a little more care when cleaning. There was hair in the sink and the shower. Floor was unswept. We had a view of a dirty pool. The manager was rude. But I excused her because she was working all by herself with absolutely no help. She was handling my checkin and another along with three complaining guest. I will never stay here again.     These people are thieves! Avoid at all costs. I drove 5 hours to get there and when I arrived they told me they had overbooked their hotel and they canceled my reservation. I didn't receive any prior notice via phone or email. I had already paid in full, and they refused to give me a refund claiming that my reservation was non-refundable. Not to mention the lady at the front desk told me to "f### off" and go somewhere else. Expedia also contacted the hotel and sided with them, doing nothing to help me in this matter. Both parties are to blame. Expedia's bookings are not guaranteed if there's a cancellation done by the hotel, you get stuck with the bill. Terrible service on both sides.

    The lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful I give her a five star. Even though the place is old, everything was very clean. The shower water was hot, the tv was working, the fridge too. You know, for the price the place was good. I would stay here again in the future. It is old but is under renovations. Next door there was a dog barking all night which made me have a hard time trying to sleep. The bed was uncomfortable but everything else was good.

    They are under construction and I overpaid for what we got. It was not worth $100/night. No water in the pool. Police was there when we arrived dealing with a cancellation the lady had paid for but didn’t check in by a certain time. That was messed up. They basically were overbooked and booting people. They use dark sheets so can’t tell how clean they were. The mini fridge was loud and knocking all night. The bed was comfy but bring your own pillows n sheets.

    This place had everything you’d expect from a horror film. Hotels.com states one hour earlier in the confirmation email, the reception won't let people check in earlier without an extra charge, not even that hour earlier the reservation says.     First of all, this place is advertised as a hotel, this is nothing like a hotel it's more of a beat up motel...it's nothing like the pictures on website. Walking in you could see mildew on the ceiling, lobby was dark and outdated. When I made my reservation I selected the option to pay on site and when a I got there I was enable to do so because their system for credit card payments was stolen days prior, I had to pay cash or go directly to website. But still had to pay cash for the security deposit. The room...dark (had to use the flashlight of my phone to see), dingy, odd smell, holes in curtains, no blackout curtains, lock was broken from the inside. I kept feeling I was being watched and waiting for someone to walk inside the room; didn't feel safe at all. The whole 2hrs a was there I was looking for somewhere else to stay and I literally ran out of the place. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

    You should not allow guests to book a room online if they will not be able to check in upon arrival. Terrible business practice. I called the OYO customer service and they refused to refund me the TWO nights that booked at 10:45pm. Because I could not arrive to the hotel until 11:15pm, I was not able to check in for that first night (which I booked and psid for!!).

    The bed is very uncomfortable, the door is difficult to open and close with the key, the bathroom door is difficult to close, it's a terrible place. They also charged $50 deposit for such a dilapidated room. like a joke. I wanted to cancel my reservation as soon as I entered the room, but I could not reach you. I don't want to stay here. It's a disgusting room.

    Overall an unsatisfactory experience…no doorknob on bathroom, substance smeared on bathroom door and wall, dirt in all corners of room, lamp broken in half. However, staff did respond when I requested linens and help with TV operation. We would not have stayed had any other vacancies been available during a hurricane.

    Booked on Expedia before hurricane for 174.00 for 2 nights. They said it was 350.00 cash. Had to pay as we had no other place to go. Room was horrible. 2 tiny towels and one washcloth. Small refrigerator didn’t work. One channel tv, no towel racks, sheets all pilling and uncomfortable. No ice at facility. Had to pound on lobby door for them to unlock it and let us in. Couldn’t check out until 9:00 because no place to return the Key to the room. The list goes on!!

    They canceled my booking when I book online days advance this was during the hurricane evacuation. I’m still waiting on my refund. Can’t get on hold of anyone front desk lady very rude and unprofessional. Will tell everyone this place is not a good place

    I did not get to stay here because Expedia overbooked the room as they did with other guests trying to stay there. Expedia did not charge me for the room but they did charge me $12 prepayment and another charge for $15.42 which I expect to be refunded.

    I stayed there for 5 nights and it was a disaster they don't replace towels I asked for a new towel and was told I would have one delivered to my room. after waiting for several hours no towel was delivered I went back to front desk and they said the housekeeping left at 4:30 pm and no one was there to give me a new towel until 9 am the next day. The next morning I went to the front desk they told me I would have to bring my current towels and they would give me a new town which I did they told me they needed to wash the one I surrendered and should come back in a couple of hours after they wash and dry the two towels I just dropped off. The bathroom was dirty and the shower curtain was deplorable.

    Just like an abandoned property, plus lobby opens at 9am and if you stay past 10 , they charge $35 per hour . My door seemed bashed in with a car .

    Rooms had much to pick at: light bleeding through the door (no seal), mix of old paint and new, a slippery film on the floor surface. From the pictures: -no bed covers or layering of sheets to create protection of bed use, the bed completely covered in body fluid stains (sweat and more). -No use of any white bedding or towels. Grey and black all over, cannot tell if the bed sheets were washed recently. -Also the towels were so thin and covered in a wax of some kind. Left me itchy all over and still wet. -shower curtain was moldy, had to shower with sandles. Something up with the bathtub. -electricals are left uncovered (bathroom lights and some outlets) -seat in the bedroom had so many stains. -sink was cracked Staff: the one person who was working both times I was there was ok. The hours of support are nuts. Nothing before 9am, checkout at 10am, and a 35 fee every hour after checkout. No support for later entry after 1030pm, almost missed it. Early check in fee of 35. The price was attractive and that's what got me at the front door. Don't make the same mistake. I slept on top of the sheets for the stay I had and used an emergency blanket from my car.

    I had a very bad experience. I booked an accessible room but when I arrived the lady at the front desk said she only saw a standard room under my reservation and there were no accessible rooms available. It was a bit late so I had no choice but to stay there. I believe there was a miscommunication on the part of OYÓ hotels reservations and the front desk. Also, the area did not feel safe.

    This is, by far, the worst hotel I have even been, period. I should have read the reviews. Room was infested of cockroaches. There was not even a TV available, no hot water, no clean bathrooms. I was so ashamed of myself for booking there and taking my son with me, specially after hearing moaning noises from one adjacent room, and then a fight in another. Do not believe any of the pictures they show.

    Roach hotel... had to buy traps because they were everywhere and still pouring out of every crack even though they were piling up from the poison traps. Bad ac, 10 year old towels, busted toilet, dingy with poor lighting, roaches in the drawers fridge and microwave. Parking a nightmare, parking lot looks like someone blanket bombed it and felt like it. 1/2 of the rooms vacant and in shambles. Vagrants or transient people living or squatting in the area and rooms. Front desk unavailable by phone or in person half the time. No pool, no amenities, nothing in any good shape.

    I want to say that the receptionists was very nice. The pictures that are in expedia to have an idea how the rooms look like and the hotel is nothing close on reality. The pictures that expedia are way nicer. The rooms don't look like that, they are way older. The hotel needs a major fixing. Honestly, the hotel is falling apart. At night I guess the next door guest was smoking, and all the smell of cigarette went to my room. And it was soo creepy looking hotel when I got there, that I didn't feel safe.
