Location Upgrades need to be made, especially the bathroom. Our TP holder was rusted and toilet handle had to be jiggled so it would stop running.

The plugs on the lamps were too loose we couldn’t get out CPAP machines to stay plugged one wall outlaw for the floor lamp wasn’t working at all so that was an issue for the other CPAP user. That was so inconvenient.

Everything was perfect

Breakfast was some gravy in a trashbag lined crockpot and some hard mini biskits and waffles. My room had mold (visual) as well as the showe curtian was to short so water would get all on the floor and the sink was broken. The bed was comfy so i gave it 2 stars for that.

The guy in front who checked us in was very nice. Just an overnight stay and needed something inexpensive and clean. Older hotel that needs some upgrades but over all it was very clean. And free coffee very early in the morning

Staff was and has been extremely rude and unprofessional to me. The manager named angel has screamed at my husband and was extremely rude to me when it was a mishap on Thier end. Then I was double charged for a room. Definitely not happy and will not be back

Property Was Awesome

The continental breakfast included cereal, light & fit yogurt, biscuits, some watery looking gravy, a waffle maker and a few other items. Overall for the price it was a great deal. There is also a fantastic Indian restaurant next door; worth checking out!

For the price, should serve better breakfast.

Room was in pretty good repair but needs some final touches. Noted ne roach in bathroom. Room is a little dated.

The room and bed were fine. Tv did not have correct listing of channels (but no problem, I don’t watch much). Breakfast was substandard. Only thing to drink was coffee or milk. There was no cold water and the orange juice, apple juice machine was out of order. There was no waffle batter and front counter lady had to fill it (begrudgingly). Then there was no syrup, which she too filled. The biscuit gravy looked old and the biscuits were quarter size. Next day we just went over to Hardee’s.

It was very unpleasant to look at. It looked very dirty and rundown.

The bathroom was really dirty. There was mold on the shower curtain. The Shampoo and Conditioner were empty. The towels were stained. It was not a great experience. The room had an overwhelming scent of bleach, indicating it was clean- but it wasn’t.

It was a nice stay but when we got there, they told us that housekeeping was every other day and in the room it said to call for housekeeping. One evening I entered the room and it definitely looked like someone entered and threw the pillows back in place and attempted to make the bed.

Breakfast was disappointing. The lady behind the desk TERRIBLE service. I felt like i was bothering her asking a question. I had to say "excuse me maam" three times before she put her phone down and acknowledged me, with attitude of course. She got up and started replenishing plates etc 15min before the breakfast was to be over. She left the desk un attended walking outside talking on her phone. Poor customer service. Poor professional presentation. She was wearing sewat pants, hoodie, crocks... thats not concierge attire at all!

Need more breakfast options ..

No shower curtain had to get one dirty and so bad we booked 2 nights only stayed one night very outdated tables nightstand bathtub everything just disgusting would not go back the staff was friendly only thing I can say they did bring a shower curtain they didn’t offer to refund money on the second night and that’s 110 dollars for an empty room so sad and rip off someone doesn’t stay because of all that u should least refund there money

Rooms were ok, fine for one night to sleep. Definitely old. Staff was pleasant.

Very peaceful property amd staff was very friendly. Clean room and the bed was nice. Only complaint I have is at 8 am the cleaning people rolling carts around your room and knocking on the doors could have waited a little longer but it was only a minor inconvenience.

Very affordable and convenient

Room clean, bed very soft, but uncomfortable due to back and knee issues. There is a beautiful mountain view as you come in and looking to your right. I would come back. Very peaceful.

The Good: -Beds were comfy -Pool was decent -Price was good The Bad: - 1 dead bug on top of bed - 1 dead beetle on floor near door - 2 live cockroaches in bathroom found on **2nd DAY** of our trip. - toilet quit working on 2nd day, because the tank refilling mechanism stopped pumping water. When I went to report the issue to the front desk person, she was out on break smoking a cigarette. She saw me but didn't acknowledge me in any way, so I left. All these issues are easily fixed at low cost with basic maintenance. Therefore, my conclusion is that this motel is not properly maintained. NOTE: This is the first time I've given a bad review of a hotels.com property, so im not a complainer.

The hotel room bathroom was dirty upon arrival there was hair in the bathtub. The towels had dirt on them. The area was poorly lit and the doors where hard to secure. There where numerous other occupants fighting on the balcony for all hours of the night. I would never stay again.

The staff/manager on duty in morning was not friendly/helpful. The cleaning staff didn't speak English or understand when I had to ask them question because staff at desk not available. Otherwise the room was clean and acceptable and reasonable priced.

Everyone at the desk was nice to us, but that was about it. Our room opened to a dark and sketchy back parking lot, didn't feel safe. First room we were in had a heat & air unit propped up with a moldy, wadded up towel... room we ended up in was dark even with all the lights on, never did feel comfortable there.

This room was not cleaned properly….especially the restroom and sink areas. It had an old stale smell to it. It looked deserted and unsafe.

The front desk clerk was very friendly. The dude mopping the floor on Sunday morning was not. The television did not get any channels but we were not in the room enough to care. One of the towels had what looked like a makeup stain on the edge but I think it was clean - just a stubborn stain. Beds were comfy so that was nice.

Vending machine didn't deliver the water I bought, so I came to the reception and the guy gave me 2 bottles because of that. Nice gesture !

price was very expensive for this area. Paid $95 after taxes. Should be closer to $75-80 for this area of SC. If I were staying in Charleston SC, I would expect to pay $95. For Duncan SC, $95 is way too high. Thank you again!

Out dated…paint peeling.

The room was great. It was clean and the walk in shower was great! I have some physical issues so being able to step right in the shower was a plus for me.

It was about as " bare bones" as a place can be.

Stay was good. Room was clean, looked to have been updated somewhat recently, at least within the last couple of years. Noticed a couple of things that werent finished real professionally but nothing that affected the operation or condition of the room. Location was good, lots of restaurants, gas stations and others. Access to the interstate was easy and entry and exit from the property was easy as well. Would definitely use again!

DISLIKES: Bathroom ceiling was peeling paint, bathtub and walls were not clean. There was less than 1/2 a roll of tissue paper and with 4 adults there should have been a spare roll left in room when staff cleaned room. Lobby coffee machine did not work properly as we had to push handle down several times to get coffee. Big sign in lobby showing waffles for breakfast but only had coffee, juice, muffins, honey buns, instant oatmeal, and yogurt to offer.

Unfortunately the 3 non smoking rooms I reserved smelled of cigarettes. One of the rooms had a door issue and would not work and staff member could not get it working. 2 rooms had bedbugs yes bedbugs!!!

The room was nice and comfy. The front desk was very nice and helpful. I would recommend my friends and family. I look forward to coming back.

We have stayed here multiple times for our girls softball tournaments. The room is always clean and the price I’d fair.

This is an older property, exterior entrance, no elevator, but I was pleasantly surprised at the room. The bed was clean and comfortable. The furnishings were adequate. The water pressure and water temperature were good, bathroom was clean. Towels were clean and fresh. I was a little skeptical after reading a few of the reviews, but I would stay here again. Check-in was efficient and the clerk was friendly.

It was ok until the neighbors arrived. Loud engines, very loud music, until I yelled at them and they quieted down. Couple of hours later they had a cussing and spitting fight and woke us again. Not a good experience!

Toilet was nasty had not been cleaned pubic hair on the toilet and bathtub. And I don't appreciate them knocking on my door before 11:00 am
