The room was full of cockroaches. There were even cockroaches crawling inside my bed. I’m not even counting the bathroom. I checked into the hotel and left after 2 hours. It’s not a place you can stay at. It’s truly a very dirty hotel. Stay away.

This place was horrible on getting to the front door there were a few men hanging out, on the first night the bed sheets had nasty stains. My husband was bitten upon checking it was by BED BUGS management pretended not to know! They gave us a full refund and asked us not to put a negative review 🙃

Fitness room consisted of a broken treadmill No free weights . The fitness room was dirty and gross. Breakfast ( if you can call it that) consisted of some slices of white bread and 2 two kinds of cereal.... Kids shouting/ screaming and running up and down the hall late at night. No consideration for other customers. Someone needs to burn this place down and rebuild it from ground up
- 3/5
The room was clean and very quiet, which I really appreciated. However, the bed felt like an air mattress and not very comfortable.

Whole floor smelled like cigarettes and weed, hot water didn’t work till i called front desk, manager was supposed to contact me and never did. Told front desk that floor and room smelled of illegal substances and he just said “yea” didn’t stay the night and went elsewhere
- 4/5
Nice location - great restaurants nearby - hassle free check in and out - hotel could use renovations, but for the price point that I paid, it served the purpose of the trip. Hallways had an interesting aroma to it, so I would encourage the owners to invest in some air quality control systems. Also, the side door on top of the hill, ppl keep propping the door open or if you swing the door too wide to open it will remain open.

The health department should shut down this facility. Sheets, pillow cases, towels and bedding were disgusting with holes, stains, and smells. The curtains were old and ripped and the safety latch on the door was missing. Horrible accommodations.

How I was treated by staff I loved it housekeeping I loved it
- 4/5
Very good

No elevator in a 3 story hotel. Few parking spaces. Only 2 handicap spaces by the office entrance. Guest entrance is on the opposite end of the building. Breakfast consist of instant coffee, toast and fruit loops or corn flakes. Muffins, yogurt and fruit cups if you get there early. They also require a $150 deposit that isn't mentioned when you book the stay. Plus there were roaches running across the bathroom floor when I got up in the morning. I will not be staying at this dive again. Also their address is listed as being in Dumfries, VA. when it's actually in Mount Clair.
- 4/5
I kinda chose it over the other motel's because it said there was a breakfast. Offerings, cereal , bread, bagel, yogurt, muffins, coffee, juice. The milk for the cereal was on the brink of sour. I had to tell the front desk all the yogurts were 2 weeks expired. So basically the “breakfast” was disappointing and underwhelming.
- 5/5
room was decent
- 0.5/5
Breakfast was either toast or cold cereal. The entire facility needed cleaning and upgrading. Bathroom floor dirty, no bars in shower, took forever for hot water.

We got to our room and learned that the door did not close properly. We had to force it closed so that it would latch and secure. Had I not noticed, the door would not have locked when we went out and our belongings inside would not have been safe. In addition to that, the property appeared to be run down and in need of repairs or renovations, even though a note said that the second floor was being renovated, and a Sheriff’s Deputy came in right after we checked in looking for a tenant.

Roaches everywhere.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable

There were several signs that clearly stated No Smoking - however apparently these signs were only suggestions and they were not being adhered to. Upon entering my room it was no surprise to see it also could have been a used as scene out of a true crime drama. While I do appreciate the extremely bright security light directly outside the window of the room, the curtains were hanging off the wall because the duct tape was no longer strong enough to hold them in place. The powerful security light did illuminate the vastly over grown foliage directly outside the window as well as the well worn path that had been established by however was currently living there. Hope this helps.

I was not able to access my booked room in Days Inn by Wyndham Dumfries Quantico. After travelling from Cairnryan (landed 22:15) I put the Days Inn location contact details into my navigation system. After searching around near Dumfries (06:30, I reached Johnstonebridge, checked the map and opted to join the M74 at Jct 16. I called in to the Days Inn reception in the Annandale Water Services Station and asked how I could progress my journey. The receptionist politely checked my confirmed booking and told me politely that my booking was for a service station in United States of America!! Such a booking should never have been confirmed! I was left in the pouring rain at 07:20, having had no sleep, trying to continue my journey!

Roaches!
- 3/5
The hallways smell the room was you get what you pay for
- 1/5
We were not able to stay after booking. We needed two beds and they don't have any on 1st floor. They're all on 2nd floor. No elevator, so no handicap access to rooms with two beds.
- 5/5
Price good
- 1/5
The first room assigned was in the third floor. There was work going on all over the building and the hallway smelled like it was burning. Once we got to the room the first thing we saw was part of the ceiling had fallen on the side table and bed. The front desk gave us another room on the second floor but it smelled and it had a very dirty upholstered chair. I felt terrible that I chose this hotel for our stay. We left early. I should have asked for a refund.
- 1/5
The hotel was under construction and should not have been open for occupancy. The drapes were broken in our room, they couldn't be close properly. There was no closet to hang cloths. The refrigerator did not work. There was no phone in the room. The work on the remodel was poor. They hadn't even finished painting the hallways. The response by management was rude. Said they knew what the issues are. Said they were going give us a 50% refund, haven't seen it yet.
- 3/5
Apart from the wonderful lady at the reception, the place needs serious renovation
- 4/5
They are remodeling so smell wet paint.

The hotel room smelled bad. The place really needs some good cleaning and maybe paint the welded doors so it doesn't look so bad.
- 2/5
Found a cockroach in the bathroom and also in the bedroom. I took picture of the one in the bedroom.
- 5/5
Very neat, clean and comfort space. I will want to recommend Days Inn to every traveler.
- 4.5/5
Price, location, and helpful staff were the highlights. Room seemed to have been recently renovated. Several restaurants were within walking distance.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
The room was okay for the overnight stay, but need work. Couldn't use the shower, due to no shower curtain, tub cracked, and paint. There was nothing to hold water in the sink. The desk chair wasn't sturdy. The right arm rest felt like it was about to fall off, and the other chair needed to be cleaned.
- 0.5/5
I was running late in my travels the they would not let me check in at 8am when my checkout wasn’t till 11am.
- 1/5
I woke up to use the bathroom to see roaches scattering away. There was a bleeping noise from the smoke detector that went on whole entire night. Bath fossit had a leak. Was def not worth the $100.
- 5/5
Pretty quite and peaceful also close to restaurants, freeway, gas stations and banks
- 3/5
The room smell a lot to cigarette
- 3/5
Inside the room was actually decent. There are plenty of food options right across the street which is a bonus.
- 4/5
Recieved smoking room but we font smoke .Could use a lttle work rough around edges.Affordable and clean.
- 4/5
Amazing
- 3/5
Only good for one night
- 1/5
The service and room conditions is horrible at this hotel on Dumfries road (Route 234) in Dumfries VA. The room was freezing and there was no heat in the room. They switched the room, and there was NO heat either. The Franchisee always cut corners to save money and NEGLET service and comfort aspects. Who in the right mind torn off the heat in freezing temperatures in all rooms??!!!!! STAY AWAY from this hotel.
- 1/5
The heater didn’t work and maintenance was not able to come fix it during the night. I am now sneezing and coughing from being in a cold room and could barely sleep. Worst experience ever. If it wasn’t so cold outside I would’ve slept in my car with the heat on.
- 2/5
This place is disgusting. The bathrooms have no hooks or rails; no rack to hang clothes; the shower has to be yanked; the tub doesn't drain; the iron & hair drier are gross - have never been cleaned; the entrance door & foyer to the 2nd floor are cracked, dirty & old; the hall carpet needs to be replaced. Nothing to recommend this hotel - there are cockroahes all over.

Although the customer service was impeccable, the room was not. I ended up leaving in the middle of the night as there were roaches coming out of everywhere. Totally uncomfortable. The room was clean, but it did not take away from the roaches coming in there
- 5/5
Ok
- 3/5
Property had roaches
- 5/5
It was quick and easy to check in
- 3/5
Doors were not working near room had to take stairs to 3rd story. No elevator i was told. Took 3 trips to car to get belongings. Also sign at front desk said $150 deposit cash only. Refundable when checking out. I wasnt made to pay but next day a gentleman who paid online as i did had to. Why ????Theres is nothing on line that states that. It should. Breakfast was muffins, yogurt, fruit cup. coffee pot out of order.
- 2/5
It smelt like weed. The loud noises came through the walls from other guests using showers and toilets. Seemed unusually loud. The Air conditioner made ticking noises all night. Not a good experience.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 1/5
The staff was probably the best thing about the place. I was able to cancel the booking with no penalty.
- 2/5
Mid. No vending machines and the non-smoking smelled completely of smoke.
- 1/5
A lot of bags in the room
- 2/5
Smelled terrible
- 2/5
Room smells cigarettes even i picked non-smoking during booking. Sheets had cigarette burns. Carpets not cleaned, doors coming off. I will never stay here again.
- 3/5
Excellent
- 1/5
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to stay at at all!
- 1/5
Don’t stay here! The place is falling apart literally and it’s filthy.
- 5/5
Easy access to highway.
- 3/5
Good location, room is fine but property needs an update.
- 2/5
The place looks run down. It stinks like crazy if smoke/ smoking.... with the hallway having a much stronger smell than the rooms. Our bed smelled bad (and this is after shifting already from 1 room) and i had terrible falling asleep. Was glad to be back home. The guy in the front desk was helpful and seemed apologetic. But that's all he could do. Save your money. Spend a lil more and stay in a decent place.
- 3/5
This property was in disrepair internally. Paint chipping off the walls. The electrical outlets looked like fire was eminent. There was no chair in the room. The hallway smelled of marijuana. Awful would not recommend!
- 1/5
There were no clothes hangers in the room. There were holes in the walls and ceiling. I tried to have a shower but the faucet was not working (no water was coming out). In the morning, the breakfast room was locked until the attendant opened it and the coffee maker was out of order. We couldn't wait to get out of there
- 2/5
Running toilet. Thin walls.. cigarette smell in a non-smoking room.
- 2/5
The room was ok. Except for the roaches one crawled on me as i slept. Talk about a nightmare . Then they advertised a vending machine but oh no that does not excsicst,so good luck if you get thirsty .
- 1/5
Roaches everywhere the fassit in the sink was broke the shower was broke it was disgusting never will you get my business again this is by far the worst hotel iv stayed in
- 2/5
Hotel is in poor condition, if you are looking for comfort and cleanliness, do not stay here!
- 1/5
We had to change rooms 2 times because of roaches there was mold around the toilet the sink was dirty and the room not vacuumed. No remote for the TV my husband had to go get one. There was mold on the ceiling in the hallway paint peeling off the ceiling. I have asthma so I could not handle the mold to at 1:00 in the morning I went and slept in the car.payed $ 202.00 to sleep in our car in the heat.
- 1/5
Days Inn should shut this hotel down or sell it because it’s making its Brand Name look bad. I would never stay here again! This is my first bad review of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
- 3/5
The building itself was old and run down. There were 'unsavory people hanging out in the doorways and parking lots. Just not a very inviting place to be. If I hadn't reserved and paid for my room in advance, I would not have even thought about staying there. The room itself was not too bad.
- 3/5
Very noisy at night, rug was worn down in areas, there were ants around the step going outside. The jacuzzi tub was hard getting in and out to take a shower it’s to deep of a step to get down into safely for someone with back and leg issues.
- 2/5
There was a huge burn mark on the outlet, the curtains were falling off, there were HOLES in the WALL, and what we think might’ve been evidence of drug usage on the floor in the hallway. At least the beds were somewhat decent. Overall, not a place that felt safe or clean. Would not recommend.
- 1/5
. One for my husband and I and one for my son and his family. Our room was dirty, had stains on bedding and holes in the bedspread. Our son's room had a handicapped rail that was loosely hanging on the wall. We reported on May 31 and was told it would be repaired the next day. We left on June 4 and it still had been repaired. Also, one of the mattresses did not fit on on the bed and bed rails were sticking out, causing me to stumble and left a bruise on my leg.. Also my son'sroom had a problem with the light fixture in the bathoom. The light kept going out even after the light bulbs were replaced. Hi room also was dirty and holes in bedspreads from what appeared to be cigarette burns, even though it was a non-smoking room. We did not feel safe, because there were groups of people loitering around the parking lot. Also one day after returning from lunch, we could not have access to the parking lot, due to four police vehicles blocking the parking lot. We had to park at a motel across the street and wait for the police to leave. Will not ever stay here again
- 1/5
One word to describe it “Nightmare” the room I stayed had a super cigarette strong smell. I only stayed for 3 hours because I couldn’t take it anymore, a homeless person was sleeping in the stairs this hotel is not safe at all.
- 1/5
This was hands down the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. The entire building was downright filthy and had a horrible smell. The appliances were rotting away and half the lights didn't work. That's not even the worst of it - I found at least 5 bugs with my naked eye crawling around different areas. This place is a health hazard and needs shut down immediately. Absolutely rip off and Wyndham should be ashamed that this place is in operation.
- 3/5
Our room was not ready after we checked in. As in, we checked in, got our key, walked to the room, and it was still not serviced by the staff from the prior guest. Kind of a pain. Had to wait almost 20 minutes.
- 1/5
I left the hotel 4 hours after checkin due to the roach in the room. I will stop booking hotels from Expedia, this is my second experience on wasting money trusting Expedia. Bye bye now.
- 2/5
For $112, the room is dirty. Because it’s non refundable, we have to waste the money to book another hotel.
- 3/5
The price was good. The hotel was nice but aged. The rooms could use a refresh.
- 5/5
Nice staff , great location . Needs major update & renovation .
- 1/5
Both rooms they put me in were dirty and the first one had roaches in the refrigerator which were all over my food that I put in there. The front desk didn't really seem to care. Also, the bathtub constantly dripped water and the second room only had one light bulb that worked. I had to go down to the front desk and ask for light bulbs to put in myself.
- 4/5
Hotel need more improvement
- 4/5
The front desk was extremely polite and helpful.
- 5/5
Lowest price for the area.
- 1/5
The building entrance by my room did not require a key. Anyone could come in. A continental breakfast was advertised. It was bad coffee, a few pastries and fruit cups and that was it. Horrible value for the price.
- 2/5
I like because it was near the freeway. I did not like that the room i have to go outside the building through the stairs to get to the room, The room was very small and everything is outdating. No USB connector anywhere. Front desk person was not friendly. Did not tell me where to go for breakfast.
- 5/5
Was good night
- 1/5
It was raining out side and in side on the bel and else ware in the room. the stains on the ceiling verifies it was leaking for a long while. my room number was 333. the bathroom exhaust fan was not even working
- 5/5
They was very courteous when we had a issue they automatically changed my room no questions asked
- 1/5
The smell of marijuana was so bad I did not spend the night. I went to another hotel
- 1/5
Poor hotel. Everything is poor
- 3/5
Overall, this site is run down. The microwave was missing the front panel, the wallpaper was peeling, the room phone did not work, the hallway had a distinctly unpleasant odor. The staff were very courteous and pleasant. We pais double what our room was worth.
- 1/5
It’s dirty all over. It’s bad smell all over . Sorry to say that but it’s true .
- 5/5
When we first arrived we were immediately informed that the water was shut off on the entire block but would be back on within an hour. I appreciate the front desk attendant for letting us know right away instead of us being surprised about it later on.
- 1/5
It would have been great except for the pimps and prostitutes and the drug dealers and druggies. We would have left but there was no where else to go. Also the air conditioner was very loud and there was blood on the furniture. All the hotels in this area should get together with the local PD and make it safe for travelers.
- 1/5
Not a good motel coffee maker didn't work no microwave bath tube drained slow Not worth the money
- 2/5
When i approached the days inn, their were solicitors/bums harrassing the hotel staff and guests. This immediately made me think the property was unsafe. The staff was nice and courteous. The hallway smelled horrible as if someone had smoked in it. The room's smoke detector was ripped off the wall with the wires hanging out. Sure sign of why the place smelled.
- 2/5
This place was dirty. The pipes in the hall were corroded. The door entrance was tattered. Weed smell all in the hall and the element was ugh…
- 2/5
Nope. The SAME issues (plus more) were wrong the 2nd time. I cant believe this place is associated with the Wyndam name brand. Issues on both stays: black mold on tub. Smelly hallway carpet. Room wear & tear. Website says breakfast included, its Not. Fridge was not plugged in, dont arrive expecting to put food in a cold fridge. Desk and chair FULL of stains, wear/tear. A hallway door is propped open by a twisted and tied plastic bag. The "gym" room (as promised) is not ever open. No coffee/tea in lobby as promised. Lobby is not accessible from inside the place. I dont mean handicap accessible, you have to go OUTDOORS (into the weather/elements) to get into the lobby. Additional NEW issues: Room was only marginally clean, a pair of rolled up socks clearly visible under the bed. Glass desk top smudged, fingerprints. Only about 8 squares on the current roll of tp. (tp is difficult to access under counter) Room 239 tub water leaks/runs constantly. When i told them, they said, "we know." Bathroom door was filthy. ***Attn management*** I have pictures of all issues. Contact me, and i will email it all. Very disappointing for the 2nd time.
- 1/5
not a good look. We couldn't sleep worrying about our car and our stuff in it. The people walks the halls thru the night so we decided to leave. At the price we paid it should had been better. Terrible place to stay, DON'T!!!!
- 4/5
Spent a quick night after a long drive. It was a bed to sleep in.
- 2/5
Rundown and not very clean
- 2/5
The carpet felt damp. The smoke detector in the room was filthy and old. The outside door to get in the hotel was broken and so anyone could come in.
- 3/5
Clean
- 3/5
Just ok for one night
- 4/5
Good service beddings a bit old
- 1/5
They stole some of my staff I stay there for two nights and the house keeping stole my guess perfume and clothes the bathroom the water to shower wasn’t working the room in very bad condition I would never spend money on this hotel
- 4/5
It was what I expected for the price. Dirty but not filthy. Furniture stained. Bed was comfortable. Property served its purpose for the limited amount of time I needed to stay there.
- 1/5
There is bedbug in the room.I check into likes 7pm and went somewhere. First D TV & room lights isn't working. They change my When i returned with my family to sleep like 1am. Everybody started stretching their bodies from bedbugs beaten. I bedspread is burnt. I complained & ask for refunds but they refused. I booked for two days but I can't even stayed for a night.
- 3/5
The motel advertised free breakfast. When I asked about when and where the clerk said they didn't have breakfast.
- 1/5
Drugs on the property prostitution rooms were pathetic holes in the comforter mattress covers chairs were filthy worst hotel I ever stayed in smelled pot everywhere in a non-smoking Hotel I would never recommend this place to anybody my wife was scared to stay there we almost left
- 1/5
The room was a mess. We didn't pay much attention to it because it was late and thank goodness it was for only one night. But, when I pulled back the covers, one of the pillows was without a cover and the one that had a cover was stained. The pillows were replaced. As we got into bed the tv when out. We just said the hell with it. The next morning we were told the tv went out because of the weather. We had friends staying in nearby hotels had and no tv went out because of the weather. It looked like one of those motels that rent rooms by the hour.
- 1/5
I don’t even know where to start. The odor in the hall was nauseating and it only got worse from there. The room was worn and dirty. The ceiling had plaster falling off. Honestly, if it were not close to midnight after traveling for 14 hours we would have gone elsewhere. The shower did not work and when I went to the desk and asked for access to another room to shower- the clerk gave me a key to a room that someone else was staying in. The lady across the hall informed me that when she checked in her room had not been cleaned. While my husband showered (I skipped because it was that gross) I sat in the car because I was a bit apprehensive that there may be some violence in the hotel- some lady was loosing her s#*#.
- 3/5
The WiFi wasn’t working very well.Limited viewing channels on tv, customer service could have been better. The refrigerator made an annoying sound for the duration of my stay & the water pressure was very low.
