Candlewood Suites Dumfries - Quantico by IHG

I only stayed one night. Overall okay stay. The floor in the hallway(s) and my room were not vacuumed. I arrived after 8:00pm, therefore I didn’t request housekeeping to avoid disturbing other guests. Also, the man who was working the front desk had zero personality or warm welcome.

Room was decent. Parking is better at day than it is at night. There are a few restaurants and gas stations nearby. It is about a ten minute drive to the gaming emporium. The management team could use some better skills in communication. Overall, I would more than likely not return to this location.

The hotel was excellent, and the room worked very well; the only issue was that they didn't have towels for the pool.

Our room was very clean, the beds were amazing when we had a room upstairs. The staff was great! Very quiet, and felt safe. Loved that they had a grill for us to enjoy with a back deck. We will definitely be using again when we go back to VA!

The property offers all the kitchen needs for extended stay. There’s a spa and small pool available. The price for the stay was reasonable for the location. It’s near the outlet and plenty of places to dine

Best place Ive stay in a while

This hotel was very unexpected, I’ve never stayed at a Candlewood Suites before but this was very convenient to the event I was attending this weekend. I was very pleased with the comfortable bed, size and complete overlook of the room. It was a nice away from home stay and I would go back there again in the future. Highly impressive!

It was clean and had a good location to restaurants and things to do. Well we can start by saying we paid for a king bed in a suite. We were given a suite w two queen beds maybe even twin beds. They were small. When we asked about having it corrected we were told no rooms left. Well you shouldn’t charge and reserve something you don’t have. The breakfast was apples and a couple bagels and cream cheese. We stayed for 3 days and they were out when we got there and still out when we left. I wouldn’t dare eat one. The craziest thing to us was they had coffee but no sugar. When we asked about them getting some the reply was we ordered it and it never came. Well being a business owner myself if I was in the situation I would take money out of the petty cash or cash drawer buy some and leave the receipt so the guest could have coffee. We heard at least 4 other people ask about it. Last nightmare was the same group of people hanging outside fixing cars drinking. Just was the craziest stay at a hotel we ever had. We are knew ITG members and don’t think we will be trying any more of their hotels. Only good thing was it was super clean.

We were passing through, great place to stop and stay for the night. We could walk to nearby restaurants. Nice and clean

The hotel was clean and organized. Loved the room and the bed. It was comfortable. It was clean. The room brightness was perfect. The swimming pool was good especially the hot tub section. Didn't like the shower system. You have to get wet to turn on the water. Its annoying especially when you have kids who can't turn on the water for shower.

I think the room was VERY clean. There were many food optons in the immediate area for us to grab abite to eat. The room had said it was a suite, not exactly, the bed was fine. Ther wasn't a soft chair or sofa to sit on in the room .- only chair was a desk chair to sit in. also the heating air conditioning unit was VERY loud. The additional charge for out dog to stay seemed a bit over the top. I went from a quote of $109. to actually paying over $180. Seems a bit much.

Upon arrival/check-in/departure, we were greeted with friendly staff. The suite was very nice & spacious. This hotel has a lot of amenities such as a gym & pool. Will stay here again.

The staff was very kind, I had several interactions with different members throughout our stay and each person was very polite and helpful. The amenities were great, it was nice being able to do laundry during our stay. Only one of the 3 washers were in service so that did make it a little inconvenient. The pool was nice and warm and a good size. The gym had a good selection of equipment and free weights. Our room was great! It was clean. The beds were very soft and comfortable. Having a full size fridge and kitchenette were perfect. We were able to store everything we needed for the weekend and keep it cold or frozen. The coffee pot was small, one person serving. We decided to stay in one night and we had pizza in the room, plenty of space for 4 people to eat and not feel cramped. We had plenty of room for our dog as well.

Overall, great place to stay. We Checked in and within 2 hours the toilet wasn’t working. Front Desk was great and switched our room immediately and was very helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

a little over price for a one night stay. nice rooms for an extended stay of 2 to 5 or more days. hot tub was too hat and pool was a little cool. No breakfast for the price is crazy, even the cheaper hotels have some type of breakfast.

For the rooms being “sound proof” we could hear the neighbors dog bark for 7 hrs straight. We felt bad for the dog. Thank goodness ours dogs didn’t bark when the other dog was barking.

Ask for a box of facial tissue and was told they ran out. I am accustom to hotels either have sample toothpaste and brushes or have them for sale. The hotel had neither.

The hotel looks pretty good, confy beds, I liked because has all you need, cook top, refrigerator, dish washer, pots and pans, dishes, cups. Very clean, just the cleaners forgot to take out the food that was in the refrigerator from the previous customers. But we loved I’ll stay if I need it

I have frequently stayed at Candlewood Suites, but to find that there was one in the vicinity of my visit was a delight. I used to take advantage of your pet-friendly policies early on, but now I will stay at this chain's hotels whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy Homewood Suites and Fairfield"s as well. Keep up the fine work. I will be back.

The only thing that would improve my stay would be if they had alcohol in the Cantina. Otherwise, it was perfect.

My stay was wonderful. Easy check in, friendly staff and room expectations were met.

The room at Candlewood Suites provided even more than we could have hoped. The beds were comfortable. The desk spacious. I was able to use the full size refrigerator and toaster to have a quick and easy breakfast before heading out. Will stay here again as the rate was very competitive compared with neighboring properties.

Booked this hotel only 4 hours before checking as a convenient roadtrip overnight stopover. Hotel is immaculate. We were allocated a large studio - bed, desk, large shower room and mini kitchen area. Hotel is also pet friendly. Bed was very comfortable with beautiful linens. Main downside of this location is restaurants - vast majority are fast food outlets, but there is a nice Mexican walking distance from the hotel. Would absolutely stay there again - experience has inspired me to lookout for Candlewood suites for our next road trip.

Parking at property was plain and only handicap parking at front entrance. In the room, found a dirty coffee cup in cabinet. My wife & I found heat to be inopt with the face of unit just hanging down. I chose to get this place to stay because of it's high rating.

We stayed for 1 night while visiting the Marine Museum. Chose this hotel as is pet friendly and reasonably priced. Room good size with efficiency kitchen plus green around grounds for dog walking. Friendly checkin by manager and morning complimentary bagels and 24x7 coffee. Highly recommend

It’s a very nice, clean pet friendly hotel. We had a 2 queen bed suite on the first floor at the end of the hall near the door. It was super convenient. The unit was clean and well equipped.

The room was nice, however i booked a king room and they didn't have any when we checked in. So we stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Then, when we went to check out the girls were just sitting in the back office. I had to call them to the front.

The hotel is spotless, I’ve stayed more than once and every person working the front desk had great customer service!! Hot tub is amazing, and the rooms are beautiful. Very spacious and has a “home like” feel with the amenities provided. Hands down my favorite hotel in Prince William County, would never stay anywhere else!!

The two rooms I ordered where not what I reserved. They expect 3 adults to sleep on 1 queen bed. I had to argue to get a fold out bed. Standard suite not close to what website description is. Expedia website said they had cribs available for infants and the don't. Unless I argued to get something close to what could accommodate my family staff was just sayin don't have any other room. Staff wasn't accommodating to help my situation unless I pushed the situation
