The elevator not working but being placed on the third floor was a nightmare the hallways smelled of smoke and mold and it was unbearably hot. Room was decent and clean but I probably wouldn’t stay again

My only negative really is that the elevator is not working. If you are on the second or third floors you will need to use the emergency/fire escape stairs at the end of the hallway. This is also where smokers go to smoke outside. My view was comical, but I wasn't there for the view and this side was truly nice and quiet. I appreciate the quietness since I'm attending a class for 15 days.

CONS: Elevators did not work and I was on the second floor… Going up the stairs smelled so bad and it was hot and humid the second night I got sick to my stomach from smelling it!! The worst part was the people who were above me! They were so loud and it sounded like they were playing basketball at freaking midnight! Safe to say I won’t ever stay there again!!

We I arrived to the parking lot it felt a little sketchy. Seemed like a lot of workers or long term residents live here. The lobby to check in is very small. The walk from the desk to the elevator felt scary. When I stepped off the elevator it felt like I was walking down the hall to a scary movie and it smelled really bad like old food and cigarettes! The room was decently clean but I just knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep here. I left and found another hotel to stay out. I returned my key and let the front desk know I was checking out because I just didn’t feel safe. I didn’t even ask for a refund because I knew they wouldn’t give it to me. I will never book here again. The lesson I learned is to drive by if possible before making a last minute online reservation.

I love that it is pet friendly, I love the price for the time and amenities. I love that it is very close to shops etc. I love that I can wash clothes for free or workout anytime and get packages delivered. One staff member, Danielle is very friendly, informative, helpful, and just a joy to be around. Although the other staff were just as polite, she seemed to go the extra mile. Housekeeping is amazing with Ms. Theresa in charge and the maintenance is a pleasure as well. I don't like the excessive dog feces because guests are not held responsible for cleaning up after their pets. I don't like that the rules are not enforced for people constantly propping the door open. There are cameras on property that allow them to see who is doing what so it should be enforced. There was also a nasty chair in my room that was full of stains, I hate fabric furniture in publicly shared places. I covered it with a towel and kept bags in it so I didn't have to sit in it. Thankfully there was another leather chair I cleaned and was able to use

The receptionist Danielle is awesome, though fairly new she goes above and beyond to respect your stay and experience. Ms. Teresa has a great cleaning staff under her and is a sweetheart. Gustavo is laid back and cool custodian. Night and weekend staff don't care to do anything or engage much with anyone. They don't try to fix anything. No one regardless of shift cares to enforce the rules that avoid fire hazards. People place rocks in the rear door to hold it open which causes the lock to short out. They see it happening on the camera, many guests complain because we are inconvenienced to walk around to the front, it's a fire hazard not to mention smoke and insects come through the door which impacts the stay. All they have to do is post a sign to avoid the drama

The remote control didn’t work, the pictures looked nothing like the room, I checked out after 2 days. They were shutting the water down from 9am-5 pm. I received a call 4-4 days after I checked out, because the person working the front desk didn’t officially check me out even though I handed him my room keys with the room number on the envelope. He was too busy on his phone. I’m still waiting for my reimbursement.

Check in was a hassle I was given wrong room, then told the room I reserved was not available then I had to argue with the employee and he finally gave me my room was not able to shower until 10 at night and the shower water was cold it was not hot they said someone was “working on it”

Pets I am allergic to cats,dogs and pet dander came home to a swollen face

Property was very welcoming and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. However, I can’t bring myself to give a good review to a hotel that just turns their water off in the middle of the day for maintenance. Do things happen? Absolutely. However, I do not find it absurd to ask that the hotel I am staying at to maintain water while I am staying there. To leave a piece of paper on the door say “plan accordingly” in reference to having no water from 9am-5pm is asinine. No running water = no good review.

I was really pleasantly surprised by our visit here! The room was bigger and nicer than expected and, more importantly, very clean. The best part was Danielle! She was so incredibly sweet and helpful both when we checked in and when we had other questions. She was just fantastic. Keep up the great work everyone!

Our room was dirty, the bathroom, the floors, the counters, the dishes for the kitchen.

The staff is very professional and courteous. The laundry area needs mor cleaning. I have clots in my lungs that interfere with my breathing. The A/C/fan filters were layered with lent and area was not dusted leading to poor ventilation. There is not a door that separates the workout area from the laundry room, so the ventilation is poor in that area as well. Dust is a biological hazard and I did become ill from it.

Absolutely everything honestly !! The people here are amazing and extremely helpful !! Honestly couldn’t really think of anything sides the hallway seems to long but no nothing about this place I didn’t like I loved it !!

I chose this hotel because of the good reviews, but turned out to be the worse experience I had for my entire trip. My room was nice & clean, but the most important part; the bed smelled like someone else’s bed body odor….I think they didn’t bother to change the sheets! Sorry to say that I felt disgusted!

The staff were pleasant. Beds are old and uncomfortable, the thermostat on our wall wasn’t working properly, the sink was clogged, and the whole facility looks like it needs renovation.

The staff is great very helpful especially the lady that works in the evening! It's quiet and comfortable the rooms are perfectly clean and their amenities are really good also

Front desk lady was rude and we didn’t have towels until like 3 pm. Said that we couldn’t even use a towel from a vacant room. Deposit being held for up to two weeks is insane as well.

The staff who greet us was unfriendly, and the initial room offered did not accommodate my party. The staff member eventually changed our room that accommodated the space, but the room was not suitable for guests. I would not stay here again!

Got to the hotel,checked into one of 2 rooms i booked and found mold in air conditioner and air vents, the sheets hadn't been changed on the bed, the bed had stains on sheets and pillow cases, i pulled out the pull out couch sleeper and sheets had what looked like feces and dried up blood on them, room was dirty, i immediately got my family out of there and requested a refund.The guy at the front desk said he understood and said they have no housekeeping staff, apologized and refunded the money for both rooms.(2nd room was dirty as well)

Facility is so bad I mistakenly went to another Sonesta property down the street first and when they discovered where I was supposed to be they were like, oh you will wish it was this property and I was like why, they just said you'll see...I would sleep in my car before staying there again.

I loved the staff super helpful at the front desk to try to solve the issue The toilet was clogged the whole stay. The smell was so bad I had to buy an air diffuser just to satisfy the kids.and. Sheets just smelled horrible had to use our own blankets

I reserved a queen suite with a sofa bed. 1rst of all, the bed was not a queen. Second, & worst of all, the so called "sofa bed" was 6inches off the ground, and probably 5ft long by 3 ft wide! VERY uncomfortable! I don't think a dog could sleep on it! Called a futon. Not a sofa!

I asked him for some coffee for the coffeemaker in the room,he said;he had none. The facility was filthy. Some guess had pit bulls, and a lot of guest hung out back to smoke cannabis daily. This congregating daily caused me to lose sleep whenever I worked from home (or my hotel room)

The room that we were shown had a door that locked like it had been kicked in. The windows were unlocked. The carpet was filthy and I think there was black mold on one of the walls. I am honestly suprised that I did not see a chalk outline in the room! Horrible room and hotel!

My room had roaches on the 2nd floor but staff moved me to the 1st floor without any issues and I didn’t have any roaches in the new room. Overall my stay was ok.

The hotel was the worst I have seen in my life(; Air Conditioning unit in suite does not work, old rusty, nasty and falling off the wall; mosquitoes and bugs in the room and I booked the suite so adult my daughter could sleep on the pull out couch while I took the bed. Unfortunately, we had to both share the 1 bed, along with our puppy because the couch was nasty, extremely soiled and rusty when pulled out. Went down to the front desk and reported the AC, bugs and no soap the minute I checked in, and was told “This is our best suite and it’s the only one left but let me come check the AC because the thermostat is broken but the wall unit should work!” If this is their best suite, I would hate to see the others. They did not change our room and we suffered through the night sleeping in a nasty room and sweating. Also no pots/pans in the kitchen, even though I called to verify first and they told me there were. This was the whole purpose of booking this hotel because we had already packed up our home and needed only 1 night before catching our flight next morning. DO NOT BOOK THIS NASTY EXCUSE OF A HOTEL!

Stayed in room 220. The staff was excellent and helpful. Room had all the amenities of a small apartment, full size fridge , mini stovetop, microwave etc. However the bathroom was the issue. shower tub was a little dirty and toilet leaked from underneath and was wobbly when you flushed it. Bed was a little stiff also

Property is set up for long term stay and I found the hotel to be dirty.

Worst experience ever for my employee i put there. They had wiring b checkout dates. In spoke to an incompetent employee who ran my card 3x to move days and then after all that the next day while we were working they threw out there stuff and moved someone else in their room. When they went to the front desk to check to see what happened they said they didn’t know what happened to any of their stuff and also said they had no record of them ever staying there. We had to call the police and bring our receipts in it wasn’t until the next day that they found their things. I have the double pay for rooms and they didn’t even have them and now they’re pushing back on Expedia to pay me back my money I booked several rooms for my staff and each person had a different problem with their stay. The management is callous and uncaring. They laughed in my employees face about losing their things. I would never stay here again or recommend that anybody does …worst experience I’ve ever had.

For the duration of our whole stay of 5 days. They gave us no towels of washcloths. We had one washcloth in a room meant for 4 people. Whenever we asked for towels we were told they didn’t have anymore and they had to wash. Housekeeping also never came into the room even though we asked them to as the stay was long. Ran out of toilet paper and was told we would have to purchase some because they were running out in the building. Suspicious people walking around the floors knocking on doors. We also found used menstrual pads in the bathroom which shows they were not cleaned properly. Spider webs in the shower. Roach/waterbug under the sick.

The flooring lining was coming up, when I pulled my sheets back to spray there was someone else’s hair still on the sheets, the smell of the entire hotel was horrible and before I could put my bags down good enough the roaches started crawling on the walls in the living room of the suite. No I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was literally checked into my room for 15 mins before checking back out because I could not do the uncleanliness, the smell and not the ROACHES!! When I checkout of the hotel, the staff asked me why and once I told him about the roaches he replied okay.

The hotel is very modest. The lobby is definitely not fancy but it's okay. There's a gym laundry room combo. I didn't like that there were random men roaming the hallways watching you. My room was clean but the toilet was not sealed to the floor. I kept smelling urine I couldn't take it. Other than the smoking it's a decent hotel.

I was able to do an early check in. That was very important to me because my daughter was graduating. I had to pay a small fee but the price was great. If I visit Georgia again I will stay here again.

Ill stay here again. The hallways arent very clean, but my room was. I was really happy with my room. It had a great kitchen area and a nice spacious bathroom. Free laundry topped it off for me. Its not a luxury hotel, but thats not what I paid for. I'm so very happy with my 1 night stay.

Stayed for a week and unfortunately was not pleased with conditions of property. I had to change my room 3 times . 1st time was due to smell , 2nd time also had a mildew smell 3rd time the sink disposal had food left from previous persons . I was told cleaners come every week but I stayed for a week and no cleaners came . I requested towels and was told I had to get them myself . I would save your money for a 4-5 star if you can it’s not worth the hassle . I will say staff was incredibly nice but never again

The staff were absolutely amazing!! Shoutout to the staff but cleanliness was one thing I was not too happy about I had to switch out my room three times due to smell , then the third time the room smelled due to food being kept in the sink and was unaware . I had to check out early . My parents on the other hand had a great room

There are 3 Sonesta hotels in the area, which is very confusing. My GPS sent me to the wrong one, despite copying and pasting the address. There were ants in my room and a smell of smoke, even though it was not a smoking room. I went to the front desk to ask for more towels, but it was very difficult. I did not know I was supposed to bring my used towel to get a new one.

Property was not clean (the hallways really needed some attention) The rooms were alright. Prime location, easy parking, friendly staff

I liked the hotel is that I got the first floor. there was a gym & a laundromat. Also, there were some food & drinks to purchase. The bathroom, kitchen & bedroom were a nice size. The curtains & windows were great. it had a nice view. The downside of this hotel were the gym bike was missing a pedal. the walls need to be repainted. There was no place to have free breakfast. You have to go to a restaurant to have breakfast. the bathroom door was stuck & too close to the floor. I had to pull a little bit harder to close.

This hotel is NOT what is being advertised online. Room was NASTY, had leftover trash from previous guests, Air did not work properly, nasty bathtub, hotel AND room had a HORRIBLE smell!!! No towels were available when needed. I will never book this place again!

Given my very positive experience with another Sonesta location in Atlanta, GA, this location was well below my expectations. Despite the non-smoking room request, the hallways reeked with smoke and the room ducts brought in smoke from other rooms. The hallway carpet was dirty. There was a heavy duty fan on throughout the day and night near my room door that appeared to be either dehumidify or dry some wet area at the end of the hallway. I was also rudely awakened by an arguing couple outside my room at 4am in the morning in the parking lot.

Our room was filthy. Smelled like cigarettes. The pullout bed had blood stains on it. We didn’t even end up staying there.

The room was nice but not fully cleaned. I let the staff know when I left that my room had rose petals still on the floor when i arrived. The removed was gross, the shower has a females hair in it from the previous day all over the shower walls, the chair was still reclined and smelled like ass.

Staff very helpful. However, for a Non-smoking room, it had a smell of smoke. Also, Found some bugs on the bed.

When I first got to my room, the garbages had not been emptied from the previous guest but the guy at the front desk came and took care of it. The second night, I found a roach crawling in my towel by the tub and they put in a work order the next day to spray. After they sprayed, I still saw three more roaches at different times. I told the front desk each time but they did not offer anything to make my stay more comfortable. I had to shake out and bag all my belongings to ensure I didn’t not bring any critters home. I definitely will not be staying there again

This Sonesta location is showing its age, a fact that doesn't bother me much, but does diminish some aspects of the stay. Finishes and furnishings were pretty consistently chipped, cracked, faded, dented, or had torn upholstery. The carpet in the common hallway was very well-tread and may have been the source of a pervasive smell of food and humanity that lingered throughout my 4 day stay. Air conditioner seemed to have a hair-trigger response, bumping the temp up or down 2 degrees caused drastic climate change in the room (and a dank smell). The room itself was very clean on check-in, but received no housekeeping for 4 days. I requested additional bath linens (only 2 cloths/towels provided) and never received the requested linens. Front desk staff were very pleasant, but rarely to be found at the lobby desk. I suspect one person fills multiple roles in this hotel. The location was convenient and the general condition of the hotel was fine for my purposes...a fine place to rest, but probably not a "vacation" level of comfort.

I recently stayed at this hotel; unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The room was not clean upon my arrival, which was 2 hours after check-in, no clean linen, with visible dust and stains on the furniture. The customer service left much to be desired, as the front desk help was so unprofessional! Overall, I would not recommend staying at this location, because I have stayed at the Sonesta in Miami, and it was very nice.

Pet friendly, great customer service, clean environment

The room was in poor condition. The sofa bed was the worst I’ve ever seen. When I went down to try and get blankets so my kids could have some slight padding, they had NONE! My son who was competing the next day was terribly uncomfortable. One of the panels in the kitchen fell off into my hand and the next day it fell on my foot when I opened the cabinet underneath. The hallways smelled terrible. The air conditioning was inconsistent and the bedroom we couldn’t even feel it so I was hot all night. The photos look NOTHING like our actual room. Oh and the phones don’t work nor do all of the outlets to plug things in.

Front desk was friendly, polite and quick. Came in earlier and they were nice enough to let us check in 3 hrs before the actual check in time. Room was spacious and clean, kitchen had everything needed to cook, which was awesome!! Will deff be bavk.

The clients drawn to this place were loud and disruptive. 2 out of 3 nights I stayed were filled with patrons partying till 2am keeping everyone up. The walls and floors apparently are thin so you can hear everything. For 200 a night I should have stayed somewhere else. I will NEVER stay at this run down motel again. This is a motel posing as a hotel everyone.

The hallways smelled like stale ramen, and the room smelled like a really strong cleaner that was starting to give me a headache.

When we first got there the man at the desk was very helpful and explained the extra $50 hold that I didn't read in the email. There was no air in the hallways and when we got in the room, they're a very bad odor had to go to the front desk to get blankets and sheets for the pull-out bed smoke alarm was going off in the room for no reason tried to call the front desk and then it went off. Came in for a conference for woman it was from their recommendation that I chose this place wasn't a very good experience. The one across the street was much better.

Hallway was warm and humid. Felt like a place by the beach area. Once in the room, it’s comfortable by the temperature setting on the air conditioner. Bed was soft and comfortable. Kitchen area is good, for I use the refrigerator, but not the stove because there are a lot of places to eat. As a lone traveler, it’s good enough for a place to rest your head.

There was blood spots on the wall like someone blew their bloody snotty nose and flicked it on the wall. Obviously nobody cleaned the room nor changed the sheets. Gross.
