Good everything was fine closer to the end of checkout. There was a pest problem. Small roaches were appearing in bathroom and kitchen. Everything else was great.

Had to stay other night at the same hotel. Paid same price for degraded room, room wasn’t ready by the check-in time, the concierge didnt care about room being not ready by the check-in time. Had to wait 40 mins to check-in. No apology. The room had outlet on the lamp and cannot fit multiple charger.

First room 629 had roaches. Got put in another room hotel is out dated. Needs a upgrade badly . Had a food buffet cant take food to your room like other sonesta. Never will return .

They are in the process of doing renovations so it was a bit noisy throughout the night. I stayed in a suite and the tub was a bit dirty and it had a awkward smell throughout the hotel. The pool floor was dirty and the hot tub was closed and the feee breakfast buffet for the suite was very limited but ok! I’ll rate this hotel at 6/10

A crappy hotel in Duluth, GA. Was supposed to get a king bed with balcony, but didn't get it. Hotel is very old and it's quite loud, called the front desk several times because of the next door room. The gym was dirty and only one treadmill worked. Breakfast was okay, nothing special

If your staying here just one night or to sleep and that's it, its ok for the price. The ONLY reason I gave it the extra star was because our room was nice, spacious and the breakfast at the Art Bar is great. The signs do say the hotel is under renovation but that doesn't prepare you for how disappointed you will be once you walk through the door. As we were walking in there was an abandon car right at the front entrance the whole 3 days we were there. A lady was telling front desk they arent staying even if they charge her for the night and almost ran out. One elevator working, walls have water damage everywhere you look. The jacuzzi is bordered up with spray paint do not enter. The pool NEEDS to be shut down too! The water is standing water, and is connected to the indoor pool-that had particles at the top and green algae at the bottom! At night some children went in, the pool was dark and they were basically in Algae and didn't know it! The building looks like a jail, hopefully the outside is getting renovated too because its awful. I would not stay here again, if research done right you can definatley find something better for the price. I will say it is conveniently located walkable distance near restaurants etc.

The entire property is under renovation which is fine but they're still putting people in rooms that are frankly disgusting they have mold in the bathrooms mold in the vents broken down barely you know good Furniture the box springs look stained there was stuff under the beds it smelled we had to change rooms the odor was so bad probably cuz of the mold no hot water barely came to lukewarm the pool's an awful condition all the pictures you see online don't even come close to representing how the property is today it was absolutely one of the worst hotel experiences ever. Completely misrepresented.

This goes for the shower, bathroom sink and kitchenette. Staff always responded quickly but the issue was not resolved. Lastly, I wish there were meat alternatives for the breakfast like turkey or chicken sausage.

Staff wasn’t as friendly as they should have been, and they don’t really explain the check in process well. We got lost trying to find our room twice before we finally got a good enough explanation of how to get where we were going. The front desk clerk seemed kinda annoyed we asked though. We also were in an accessible room when we didn’t ask for it, so everything was sorta low and oddly laid out.

I did not have hot water. It was only lukewarm. The pool was not yet open so I did not get to experience that .some of the pictures are misleading on the website however, the breakfast was very good.

What I like about the hotel is the apartment feel especially in a one bedroom. It’s very spacious and it has a kitchenette refrigerator microwave it’s useful when you’re staying or a longer period of time but I don’t like that the terrace level is unpleasant looking pool dirty and smelly. My son was almost attacked by two dogs when we went down to go to the gym luckily my mom reflex kicked in to grab my son and close the door. That was scary and I’m glad my son didn’t get attached there’s so many homeless people that live in the terrace level they need to do better it seems like it’s going down hill. There was a Publix cart outside with trash in it and people were outside smoking weed and drinking liquor. I like this hotel but they need security or something to monitor the grounds.

Unfortunately, this property did not meet basic standards of cleanliness or maintenance. The hallways often had trash left out, and the bathroom was in unacceptable condition upon arrival. While the staff were courteous and tried to be helpful, the hotel’s overall upkeep was poor and does not justify the price charged. To make matters worse, there was an overcharge on the final bill that added frustration to an already disappointing stay. Management needs to address cleanliness and billing accuracy immediately.

The room I had was very nice. Upon checkin I was greated by the staff and assisted greatly. I needed a late checkout and asked a member the night before and he stated No immediately. I called the next morning and spoke to different person and was told that I could for 1 hour at no charge and then it seemed every half hour was $25. In that case after 1 hour I could have just paid for an additional day.

The first room was not clean and was giving to me dirty. Staff said no more rooms was available after i asked for it to be changed from the terrace floor. Then when room was giving to me not clean a room was available

This experience was HORRIFIC. My first bedroom was disgusting, the neighbors had dogs who would NOT stop crying or barking. We had to ask for another room, that room was even worst, very dirty & smelled like the bathroom. We ended up canceling our stay andkeaving the same night.

Front desk ladies were too busy..one texting and had her head down, she didn't know I was standing there, as the other lady just watched her text, without acknowledging my presence. The location This hotel has not been taken care of at all. The pictures are deceptive for sure. Their were areas where the smell was awful. The beds don't have blankets. The A/c barely worked. Just not what I was expecting

It was very centrally located in Duluth with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Ice machines weren’t working.

The couch and bed are very uncomfortable and the TV had too limited of channels. I hate the lay out of the parking lot, the elevator is scary to ride....

The room was a dual suite! The size of two hotel rooms. It was bigger than my last apartment. Included a full sized kitchen with both dishes some cookware and a mini dishwasher! Phenomenal! The room was so large you could easily have 14 people in it! Loved this. Although it was the Christmas holiday there were plenty of places open directly across the street to go eat that were incredible. Hardest decision was choosing which one. Highly Recommend for Holiday Travelers.

It was beautifully decorated. The water in our room was cold. Like in the bathroom, kitchenette, and bathroom the water would not get warm. Even after running it for extended lengths of time. I had to boil water to bathe my infant daughter. The coffee pot in our room was broken. The phone wouldn’t call the front desk. The staff waited three hours to bring us the crib we needed for my daughter’s nap after we paid to check in early. Overall, horrible experience for what I paid.

Location location location! Lots of great things to do nearby, and so many restaurants. Easy check in, and breakfast was included with our room and was so good! There were a few bugs in the room, like lady bugs and a few others. Someone should’ve checked the room before, also there was some weird brownish reddish stains on the wall and head board of the bed.

Only one stove worked, had to ask for pots and pans bc our room didn’t have any. Ended up buying a pan. Washing machine was horrible, waste of time and money. Had random room charges to my card and I went to ask the staff at the counter, she wanted to give me an attitude when I just wanted to understand the charges. She said it was a mistake and she going to reverse the payment back.

Overall was a great experience I love the fact that the kitchen came with pots pans plates and more. I extremely love the extra pillows that was phenomenal! Very spacious which is great when you are traveling with a child. Bathroom lighting could have used an upgrade it still felt really dark in there compared to the rest of the hotel room. Normally it's not an issue, however the faucets would only spit out hot water so I had to make a bath for my child and then let it cool. For me the water was phenomenal I love it when it's hot. The only concern genuine concern, is the Asian ladybug infestation because they bite they hide behind the curtains at the very top. there was some in the hallway as well.

I was very disappointed with the condition of the room bath tub rusty shower wasn’t working properly, no marks on the walls overall I’m not happy. One good thing I can say is the guy in the breakfast section was very nice and polite and the staff also just the way it’s being kept.

Had a Terrace room it was the most filthy room I have had in a hotel with cobwebs and dead spiders on the walls, tried asking for alternative room was told they were fully booked. Had dead bugs on the floor with flying bugs arround the sink. You could tell this room had not seen a good deep cleaning. The hallway carpets in the terrace are filthy and you can smell cigarettes even though there is no smoking sign on the facility.

Our daughter wanted to celebrate her 8th birthday weekend at Sonesta and swim. This hotel is located very close to her grandparents and we always eat at The Art Bar. We had a 1 bedroom suite and from the moment we walked in, the room was drafty and had stains on the carpet. The couch was dirty and had multiple stains on the mattress and cigarette marks. The curtains were tattered and dirty. The dressers also had cigarette marks. When we went to dinner Saturday night, The Art Bar was suppose to be open at 5:00 pm. We waited patiently for 15 minutes for them to open the doors, but no one came. We even tried to call the restaurant, but no one answered. My husband had to go to the front desk to get assistance. We were finally able to get in after 30 minutes. The wait was worth it in the end because of the staff. They quickly took our order and the food was delicious! Also, our neighbors decided to have a weed party the whole weekend and our room smelled pretty bad. We have always loved staying at this hotel for their amenities, but we expected better.

The hotel was full of mold and animal urine in the elevator the rooms stunk like animals. There was mold and mildew in the rooms. I took pictures I will never stay there again nor will I recommend it to anyone ever.

I like the small kitchen set. Loved my location on t level, nice exercise room. The customer service at this location is Excellent!!!!!! The complimentary breakfast is Superb!!!!! I look forward to staying there sometime again.

Initial room was smoky and hallway smelled horrible; nauseating. Changed room which smelled better but quality was like a motel. The pool was unavailable and not opening until May. This information would have been beneficial to know online when booking. The kids were super disappointed they couldn’t go to the pool. Front desk staff was ok but not super friendly.

There was standing water on the bathroom floor so I called the front desk and someone came to fix the leak after about 2 hours later and I was already exhausted having been working all day. The kitchen wasn't as clean as it could have been. The actual room itself was nice but definitely needs some fresh paint and updating. The fridge has spot all over, the counter top wasn't cleaned and like I said the bathroom was just in bad shape not to mention there's hole in the bathroom floor where water was draining through. A good way to allow roaches and other bugs into the room. And yet they manage to over charge you for these rooms. The girl who checked me in had the audacity to tell me they were giving me a good rate on the deposit as if I don't stay there often. My dear you're not giving me anything! I always pay my way lol. I pay the price of the booking with no discounts so whatever

Toilet leak, old soap that someone else had used was present on the tub, old worn out cushions on leather couch, stool chairs dirty on legs, floor dusty. Increased amenities to $100, normally $50. Extremely a sacrifice.

We were there for a festival, no hot water and had issues with our bathroom. No housekeeper available garbage all along the hallways. They can do better.

The General Manager and staff are rude, nosy, unprofessional and unorganized people. They let anyone and everyone touch the mail from kitchen staff to guests. They send guests mail back that they know are residing there if they have a dislike for you. I wouldn’t recommend this place

Room needs some renovations, elevators were old and musty, ants were crawling on wall near garbage on the 5th floor. The people with dogs need to control them better.

Good place to stay for yourselves or with families

I enjoyed this more than the regular Sonesta hotel. I had way more space and had no carpet, which was a plus!

This hotel was horrible. The Outside and Lobby look good. But the rooms were horrible. They were stained extremely bad. I understand a place being dated but clean is still expected.

The hotel and room was clean, but in very poor condition. The couch was broken. The bathroom door did not lock. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash device was broken and missing everything except Shampoo. Only 1 garbage can for the entire suite. The toilet was leaking and left a puddle on the floor. Desperately needing some updates and repairs for this room.

I rented a room for 5 people. The rooms are spacious. I loved having a kitchen and being able to prepare meals. I did not like the beds because my sons are really tall and could not fit two of them in one bed. Beds seem to be full size instead of Queen size. The hotel has a laundry, I loved that but one of the dryers kept taking my coins and stopped working. Good thing after a few attempts I got refunded. My sons wanted to use the pool, me the hot tub, but those were not working. That was a downside. The cleaning staff and the staff at the breakfast restaurant are extremely kind and hardworking people. I admire the way they put effort into their work. The managers were amazing and the team at the reception area. I had a few situations with over charging my card, but the managers explained what happened and got everything straighten out. We had a situation in the room with the A/C for a few days. Thank God they gave us a new room. My youngest was getting sick because of the humidity and me too. The new room was a bit smaller than the first one but we were comfortable. We had a good time even though there were some things going on. Glad everything got fixed. Our pet had a good time as well!

Security needs enhancement, lower level exit door sometimes unsecured. Rooms are not evenly furnished but spacious.

This was my second time at this facility. I enjoyed the close proximity to the interstate and friendly staff. The location is great as it is walkable to shopping and restaurants. Will book again.

Fine to stay a course days but it is an older hotel. Expect it to be outdated. The lobby is nice the rooms not so much.

Five star facility for reasonable price.

Staff was not unfriendly but not friendly either. The property hallways smelled terrible and had holes im the walls that clearly werent fixed properly. Other than the lobby the whole hotel was dirty and poorly kept up with. It is pet friendly which is why I stayed here while evacuating FL for a hurricane otherwise I would not recommend at all.

Booked a siute for 2 nights got there was told no clean rooms booked way in advance but had to find another place to stay.

Allows pet so you can smell the odor at times. They don’t clean the rooms until you leave.

We evacuated from Milton and were so grateful for this hotel. It was a great place for us to settle in, have space to walk our dogs, and relax!

The property grounds is nice,seems to be in a safe area.Pictures online of the rooms must've been taken a Long time ago.We were given a room on "T" floor,code for lower level,past the pool and gym,and a maze route to the room.Stale smell in the hall was a hint.We wanted a room with a cooking kitchen given the time restraints of our trip. Kitchen Not fully equipped, beginning with the lack of a coffee pot. No wash clothes,soap,shower jell,.air condition worked,was turned down ,so the room was freezing! No bedding for the couch,phone doesnt work, TV remote broken,etc.As we discovered things,we contacted the front desk.After having to call twice,the worker snapped at us,stating," why did you not ask for everything at once'? Returned additional finds with a frown,and clear annoyance.Great breakfast and the single worker was extremely kind. Opened the drawer,saw rat droppings!!A dead roach in bathroom,The device that suppose to hold the shapoo,etc broken.I will attempt to download pictures.A very horrible experience in such a nice part of town.

Let me put it this way…we checked in then shortly after checked out. The room was filthy! Don’t be fooled by the renovated lobby. Don’t waste your time or money. Stay somewhere else!

No god even expedia

We didn't got the suite room type we booked but instead given a double bed room, and 2 people had to sleep on the floor. When asked for an extra pillow and rolling cart, the front desk refused. On the second day, they moved us to a king suite room but half of our day was ruined just waiting on getting the room keys. The only good thing about hotel is having front desk personnel's Daisy, Gia and the house keeping lady Ophelia (these three were nice). All the inconvenience at the hotel made our trip to Atlanta as horrible and waste of money and time.

The elevator did not work, knowing my husband had leg issues, such an inconvenience. Then the dining was not good. The breakfast was very good .My husband should have been offered a wheel chair. Just that banging on the door! Banging! Banging! The bed sheets were dirty the first day . Instead of saying we will change the room she said , let me call housekeeping, Housekeeping had to come in , the stove was cracked, no microwave above the stove had to use a small cheap microwave. The couch was torn up, pullout bed was so uncomfortable . It is so loud , the halls smell like weed, you can see towels under ppl door. So many security officers . The front desk was very helpful every last one of them . I know they are remolding but some things are not due to remolding.

Sonesta Suites ES is a very beautiful Hotel. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. It is located convenient to a Diner and Gas Station. The room was very clean. The only 2 qualms I had were:(1) The shower water was only lukewarm and (2) Housekeeping comes every 4th day. I had to keep inquiring about fresh towels and washcloths. Other than that everything was great! I would definitely stay again!

Not a good stay my room was very old and dated. Pictures are not what the room looked like. The pullout bed was broken called front desk no pne showed up so first night kids had to make a pallet on floor the next day i spoke with front desk lady she was very sweet she sent maintenence and he ziptied it . The springs started coming off when they laid down so pallet a second night. Very disappointed in this stay

The thing I didn't like was that when you entered the room it smell like cigarettes.

The elevator had people lurking around it and following me, I was there for business. I chose to use the stairs and it smelled like urine. The room was clean. The TV malfunctioned and the thermostat was quite unstable. It was hard to get comfortable.

The rooms could be updated and the smell in the basement (my room was there) is horrible. The breakfast bar was good. I stopped by around 1, check in was at 4. I came in to check on something. They knew I was in town but my room wasn’t ready till almost 7. They were not done cleaning.

Rude still repeatedly charge card at night time when sleep. Then called me rudely after me checking out the room to tell me to check out asking me to leave property after we had check out and was yelling at me.

Didn’t receive the room I booked. They down graded me to a king bed no suite when I ordered 1 bedroom suite with double beds. No compensation for the down grade. The bathroom towel hanger was broken. Lights were flickering and some not working.

The room photo was not what we booked. It showed a room with a separate bedroom. This was not the room we were given. The hotel is older and in need of repair. For some reason the carpet in our hall was always wet. They placed a fan in the hall in attempt to dry it, but it always seemed wet. Hard to describe but there was some definite sketchiness.

Sevice center very kind but we can't chenk in 3pm because they not clenched. They said after 6pm possible check in. So we have to wait until 6pm. Only problems that's all. But very clean and nice services.

Overall it's a good property. Close by to a lot of Asian restaurants. The interior was ok, the carpet and bathroom was sorta dirty but the furniture, bed, sheets, and towels were clean. We made use of the kitchen which provided basic things (good enough if you're making ramen and eggs). I will say the beds were the most comfortable thing. Everyone in my family can agree to that!
