The front desk staff explained that Expedia calculated a different tax rate, but the explanation did not make much sense to me. Later, she discovered there was an extra breakfast charge that should not have been added because I did not have breakfast at the hotel. Instead of carefully reviewing the charges, she seemed to blame others for the mistake. Overall, the check-out experience was frustrating and unprofessional.

Front desk staff exceptional, unfortunately, bed was too hard, room had multiple live stink bugs crawling around, and when I went to shower there was a pubic hair on the floor by shower! Also rooms facing route 7 very loud, was kept awake all night by traffic noise

I liked the location of the hotel in relation to the mall and the restaurants. The parking was super easy, there was a nice big parking lot with parking all the way around the building. Check in was also an easy process. The lady that checked me in was super nice and professional but when I asked he if there was a fitness/workout room she told me no. I told her I saw photos of the fitness room in the photos for this hotel on the booking.com app where I booked the hotel. I tried to show her but my phone wasn't loading and she told me they were prob generic photos from another location. After going to my room to drop my bags I came back to show her the photos after they were able to load on my phone. Finally she was like "Oh yeah we have that room." How do you work at this hotel and no know about a whole room, one of the main amenities at the hotel? I will say she did offer me a breakfast voucher for the trouble but I didn't use it because I already have breakfast plans. I was trying to figure out how to log out of the Netflix app on the TV but couldn't figure it out. I tried to call the front desk on the phone in my room and after numerous attempts it did not work, which was frustrating. I was able to figure out if you turn off the TV it resets the Netflix app and logs you out though. When I was staying in the room I had a few food items like soup and popcorn to enjoy a movie with. There was no microwave in the room which is the first time I have ever seen that in a hotel. For a hotel of these standards and price you would definitely expect a microwave in the room. I instead was able to find a microwave in a little room right beside the elevator. This was frustrating also. One more thing that I didn't like that I haven't seen before is that the little fridge in the room had a 2 hour timer before it would shut off again. I had to hit the button multiple times during my stay to insure that my drinks and food would stay cold. Normally a fridge in a hotel might have a temperature setting but never a 2 hour timer. The hotel was nice but these are some issues you should not have to experience at a hotel with this name and reputation.

The breakfast was good. My children enjoyed the french toast and seasonal fresh fruit. The size of the room with the pullout bed was a little tight. We turned the sofa around so ot didn't face the bed to allow more space, but it was against the working table.

The pillows were terrible My daughter and her family, just a few doors down, had a condom wrapper fall out from behind the more when one of the children touched the mirror The lobby is clean and front desk people were great, but the quality has gone down over the last couple years. The pool is gone and you Can go yo another facility to use their pool.

We had an ocean view room. The windows were not very clean but the view was very pretty. The bathroom, floors and lobby were all very clean and air conditioned. The breakfast was super delicious and the staff are always smiling and always helping us. The pool and bar was also great and super clean

I have zero complaints about cleanliness or staff. But the beds were hard and uncomfortable, the pillows flimsy, the climate control INCREDIBLY loud and the light from the hallway made the room bright no matter what we did

Used shuttle from/to airport, saved me renting a car. But only a few dining options in walking distance as a result, so a car would have been useful if I had been staying longer. Shower temperature was not consistent. That’s my only real complaint. Staff were wonderful and location met my needs perfectly.

I spent a week at this property and had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating and made sure my experience was positive in every aspect. The area surrounding the property is somewhat deserted but I found it an easy drive into sterling. Also they have onsite transportation if you need a ride within 5 miles which is a great perk. Highly recommend.

This property is great- awesome lobby and shared spaces. Only complaint (not related to the hotel), is that it's difficult to walk to nearby stores and restaurants due to the major roads surrounding the property without cross-walks. They do have food on the property (American classic cuisine), and a great bar! Super friendly service.

This property was just meh. For nearly $300/night I would expect more. I stayed for two nights and housekeeping didn’t provide any services, didn’t even take out the trash. There’s also no security - anyone could walk in and go to any floor, no room key required. This was obvious to me when a random guy walking the halls tried to find out what floor I was staying on - made me very uncomfortable. The room and bathroom were pretty much as basic as you can get, I’d expect more from Marriott.

Hotel is pet friendly and there is plenty of area around the hotel to walk them. Room looked clean but felt a little dated. No USB plugs but thankfully I always travel with some. A/c didn't get the room particularly cool but I was there in January and I suppose not everybody is looking to have a/c this time of year. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was good.

This is the first hotel I've stayed at as far back as I could remember that did not include some form of breakfast with coffee in room fee. They had all kinds of breakfast items that you could pay for but nothing included?? And that didn't even open for business until 7am?? And this was a hotel close to Dulles airport. Curious. I think it may have been because I got a discount rate through expedia.

Very outdated property. Hot tub was broken, sliding door to balcony would not lock. Side doors to building would not unlock with key card. Staff was very nice but way over priced for what you get.

I was picking up my brother who had been visiting a friend in the area. I had been driving from NC to NJ to MA. I was traveling with 3 small dogs. They gave me a 1st fl room near my car , near the dog park..perfect! Great staff! Good food! Perfect 2 day rest!

We were really late getting in and I was tired and stressed. The clerk was so kind , I felt releaved immediately. Every staff person I delt with was amazing . The bed was really comfy. Only thing missing was the microwave I requested. Look for word to return trip!

Bed was comfy and we slept in. Pull out bed had old cookies in it- maybe they fell from someone's pocket/ bag. There was water in the closet on the safe. Not sure where that came from. Perhaps from the iron? A bit disconcerting considering everything else was nice.

The restaurant was closed. During this pandemic many local restaurants were closed so finding a place to eat was/is a real challenge (especially if one is from out of the area). Also I was disappointed that the cabinet door to the refrigerator was severely damaged. I never expect to see this in a Marriott property. I stay exclusively with a Marriott property as I have come to rely on their cleanliness.

We were there for two nights and no one came in to clean the room, replace towls/wash cloths or take out the trash. Not sure if that is Covid related or not, but i assumed someone would still clean. Regardless it was a nice hotel and it was a great stay! i would stay again and recommend.

Everything was pleasant and they checked us in right upon arrival. The breakfast in the morning was bagged to be COVID friendly but was great for on the go. Some things are a little dated, including the bathroom. However everything seemed very clean.
