The noise level from next door and the room above was awful, from early evening till after 2am, and at 3 pm the TV suddenly came on with this loud noise that woke me up, with a message something to the effect that there was a problem with one of the channels. I had never watched any tv. I turned off the tv with the remote, and half an hour later, the tv did it again so I unplugged it until morning and then plugged it back in. I got no sleep at all.

Horrible experience for 1 the ac didn't blow at all literally was blowing hot air on cold roaches was coming out of random places I was sleeping woke up to a dead roach in the bed and the where coming out of the walls and the icebox. The staff lady in the front was rude as hell. As far as the room goes stuff was damaged all over the place from the front door to the walls and even the bathroom was in worse condition worse hotel I ever stayed at would not recommend to anybody that was the worse experience ever

It was nothing like what was on the pictures. Not maintained chose a non smoking room and smelled like smoke seems like it had residents in the other rooms and very dirty

Very rundown

At check-in (5pm) the front office was already closed and had to check-in at the window. The women who checked me in seemed nice until later. Got the room and didn’t realize I booked with a heart shaped jacuzzi tub that ended up not working at all. Trying to watch tv noticed no remote, went to the window to ask and received a stare from the lady with the response of you have to download an app to use the tv the remote was stolen the night before. I of course had questions and after you download the Amazon fire app you have to use your own login information to access anything since I don’t do that I proceed to ask for a remote which now the woman at the front desk was getting mad because my remote for my room she had watching the 60-65” tv in the lobby relaxing on a couch. Staff became rude and upset I again will never stay here again

Shoelace was holding up Showerhead. They have so many roaches you would think they are the official mascots. When you check in they give you the room key, Wifim password and the remote control for the tv but the remote control doesn't work. It's not the original remote to the tv. They have the original remote to the tv but they do have the original remotes in the front office so I would have to ask the guy that had the room next door to my room for his remote so I could change the channel. The air conditioner didn't work. The room was so dirty they wouldn't change me rooms or return my key. The lady at the front office was so rude, loud and aggressive. The rooms are hideous. The rooms used to be nice but these new owners definitely went backwards when they "remodeled" this place! Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, definitely won't ever stay here again. Lady in the front office is miserable, rude, and aggressive. The rooms are filthy and she refused to put me in a different room and she refused to refund my money.

This was easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Felt cheated the entire time I was there. Property is old, rundown, unkempt. Parking is sketchy and unsafe, with minimal lighting, abandoned cars and car dwellers. The room was just as bad. Lights didn't work, so no lighting. Small TV was useless as it didn't work. Room was dirty, even found leftover food from previous occupants. Decor was ugly and outdated. Random sock was used to plug a hole on the ceiling. Restroom was gross and dirty. Toilet seat was smaller than the toilet bowl. Used band-aids on shower walls. Sock used to plug the tubs overflow. Nowhere to hang your clothes or towels ANYWHERE in the room. This place is a mess.

This property does not live up to traveling standards of the average customer. I was told you get what you pay for; however, this property falls short of what one paid for. The lobby was locked even at 4pm. Customer service was lacking a smile and a pleasant ‘hello. I will not return.

It’s okay for the price

Worst place ever , even the lock doors weren’t working, everything was so dirty and we got a room no smoking for my kids and absolutely smell like smoke and humidity

AC works.. pool is dirty and cold. WiFi doesn’t work really so the TV didn’t work. Shower and toilet were discussing. Place was ran down.. literally had to find another place to stay because bed was so uncomfortable. Trash everywhere on the ground outside. Parking was sketchy too..

Room is outdated and dirty

The property was in disarray. People’s personal items and trash all around. The smell of marijuana and cigarettes permeating the room was intense. Had to be careful not to back into a small child playing in the parking lot while her parents were toking up in their car. One lock missing on the door, the other partially worked - and this isn’t the area for LESS security. Air conditioner worked, but was loud and clanky. So between the A/C, people talking loudly outside late at night, and the aroma of pot, sleep was difficult. Never felt as unsafe at a hotel as I did that night. Got up early to get out ASAP.

This is the kind of experience you might expect in a third world country. Dirt, mold and severe neglect. The water was at least hot, though.

rooms stink gross, pool is dirty, theres homeless around the property, they dont hire a security to avoid all that, they also allow anyone on the property and im talking about anyone, someone knocked on my door and asked my mom if she wanted to drink and he didnt even stay there at the hotel, the staff get mad when you ask them to get you towels or even talk to to them, the night shift guy was understanding but still had an attitude, definitely wont be staying here again

It wasn't noisy. But around midnight i got a random knock on the door. The tv didnt work. There were nails sticking out from the floor. The safety device for the door was missing. When i asked for tthe firestick remote i was told to kick rocks. No wifi

Only one AC outlet's near the bed, near means 2+ feet away. The landscape is run down. The TV is too, too small and mounted too far away from the bed. A 55" TV only costs a few hundreds at Costco.This is my worst experience.

Rooms look old, needs paint jobs. Some extra cleaning would be good for this property as well. Since it was short stay I won't be too critical. Appreciate that the room had a microwave and a fridge at least. If I was staying for a week or longer this place wouldn't be my choice

When we entered the room, the door was immediately an issue. It did not close properly. The latch and metal hardware were misaligned and partially coming out of the frame, leaving a gap where hallway light came in. We had to force the door shut and lock the deadbolt just to keep it closed. The safety latch at the top of the door was missing entirely. Because it was 2:00 AM and we were able to secure the door with the deadbolt, we went to sleep, assuming this was the downside of staying at a cheap motel. By morning, we noticed additional problems: the TV was off its mount and leaning against the wall, a hole in the bathroom wall stuffed with toilet paper, no toilet paper holder, dirty walls, bathroom vanity lights not working, cracked light switches, and mold inside the AC/heater unit. We woke up at 10:30 AM, and checked out at 11:00. When I reported these concerns and asked about a refund or partial refund, the front desk staff member responded dismissively, questioned why we slept, and offered no solution. The interaction took place through a locked glass window, with no apology or acknowledgment. Between the misleading photos and poor maintenance, this stay was extremely disappointing.

Needs better maintenance and cleaning up had to use a literal nail to turn on shower. Walls of peoples dirty hands were on the walls. Toilet wasn’t cleaned had someone’s pee still in there. Bed sheets were stained. Staff was really nice nothing to complain was there 24/7 really straight forward.

We hadn’t even stayed there the the whole rsvp time and when I asked for instructions on what to do for the bad review for a refund they started to raise their voice and speak another language and I told them that it was rude since I’m having a. Conversation and they proceeded to talk aggressively and just walked away and didn’t give me instructions on resolving the issue.

Very clean friendly staff affordable the house keepers are nice quite environment children friendly and service animal friend come equipped with refrigerator and some rooms with microwave I have no complaints. Wish it was summer so I could get in the pool.

Room is dirty, bed stains, there's a hole on the wall, bathroom is old with no shower head, deadbolt is broken, parking lot looks shady with cars that are parked longterm broken windows, covered with tarp and full of trash inside. Bottles of beers scattered around the parking lot.

The shower was being held up with a shoelace . There was a big hole in the shower and roaches everywhere. The floors look like they never clean them and the lady in the front office is super rude and hella grumpy she has no people skills. The remote for the tv doesn't. Roaches, broke remote, holes in the wall near outlets, wack AC. The room was old, had a horrible smell and the floor was sticky. Tv barely hanging on to the wall and outdated. Tables and furniture old, chair has bottom hanging out its just horrible and not worth any price paid. I wouldn't recimmend.

Feel not safe around the facility and parking area

This time was worse, the sink was backed up, the remote for tv didn't work on tv so 2 days of watching from my phone. Maintenance guy never showed to fix it. Locks on door broken. Heater didnt work.

The room was neglected and barely clear. There is a dangerously exposed outlet near the bathroom entrance for possible electrocution. The room is very worn and there is no light above the vanity. The door key did not work initially until the manager opened it; and the remote for the in-room TV did not work after several tries. I would only stay here again if it was the last place and I need emergency shelter. Tenants are noisy and police visit often.

The room was nasty looking, the towels was dirty. The room smelled like a sewer so bad that it was hard to breathe. I told the lady at the front desk and she just shrugged her shoulders as if oh well. It was so bad that i didnt even stay there. I only stayed in the room for about 20 mins and had to leave.

I checked in, and immediately I had to leave (check out) the hotel. Because the hotel is in a horrible condition, and I felt endangered and scared. The room and the hotel in general was extremely unclean. The hotel owner(?) told me to cancel, and I shall get refund except one night. At this point, I no longer care anymore. Because I felt I had to leave(run away) right away or immediately. Please I must recommend you remove the hotel out of your network for your own reputation. The hotel is located in the bad location, and conditions and services are really bad. You will definitely feel you are unsecured at one of the dangerous places.

They never came in to replace the microwave, it was burning, the bathroom plumbing was bad. The manager was very rude to. She would not let me check in to my room. I had to get customer service support to contact her to let me check in to my room. After customer service contacted her, she let me check in to my room, but she was extremely rude to me. She did not apologize, and did not make any attempt to explain why she did not let me check in to my room. The room she gave me was terrible smelling, unclean, and the heater did not work. I had to bring my own portable heater. During the day, they were doing construction in the rooms below me. Also, there was a guy playing his electric guitar. He was plugged into his amplifier, the music was very loud and unsettling.

Unsafe. Strange looking people hanging out. Things broken in the room, brick in the room, asked for the hottub no tub at all, leaks on the second floor, tools out everywhere. Mirror fell off the wall in the middle of the night. It was our wedding night we were exhausted so we stayed only stayed a few hours after we had that mirror fall we left. Parking is hard to get in and out and that is scary.

Your manager was pleasant and understanding but your housekeeping manager was horrible. According to ADA, im only required to state if my animal is a service animal and what he is trained to do. Instead i was made to bring a note from my doctor which violates HIPPA, your housekeeping manager was always giving mean stares at me and my animal and made it clear she was not happy i had my service dog with me. Overall, room was comfy and nice. There are permanent guests and on saturday evening, police came due to domestic abuse.

Was harassed outside by a man they wouldn’t give me a refund when I tried to cancel I didn’t feel safe the front desk yelled at me because I went through the wrong door which it was open with no signs indicating to not go through there .

When I arrived my room was dirty visibly had trash on the floor hair on the floor loose change a sandwich wire tie and some crumbled wrappers in the corner, the floor was not swept or mopped an visually you could see dirty wet foot prints in the shower.. when I went to the front desk to complain the front desk said that’s the nice room… I asked for a clean room an he said he could have a maid come clean it… I paid for a clean room not for them to clean it when I brought it to their attention… when I asked for a new room I was given a room in vested with roaches… literally opened the door and roaches were scattering everywhere… absolutely disgusting.. the nicest part of this place was the name chateau… This place is HORRIBLE literally had drugged out zombies walking around the parking lot am going from one room to another and a guy was walking around with a hypodermic needle on his ear and offering drugs …

The people that were hanging around on the steps, it didn't look safe. I was very uncomfortable. We check in and check out very unhappy

People smoking and getting high in stairs and running around the hotel screaming at 10:30 p.m.

Inside: room was in disrepair. Door will not close when you are outside unless you use the card to engage the lock. Was a hole in the bathroom that looked like someone punched it. The vent in the bathroom was missing. The security lock on the inside of the door is missing too. Because I was a single occupant, housekeeping came in and took a pillow, leaving me with only 1. The mattress is larger than the box spring. So the edge hangs over. If you are too close, you risk falling off. Outside: trash bags are scattered all over the outside of several rooms. Appears that this is more of an apartment complex vs hotel. Lots of people live there. The people living there appear to be on drugs and use the rooms as a low end brothel. People are up all night outside. Sometimes there were fights, other times there were sounds of drills and grinding tools. Ice machine doesn’t work. Driveway to parking is very narrow. The pool area is well lit, but the parking feels unsafe. I ended up parking my car at a better hotel and Uber’d to the motel. I tried finding another hotel, but they were all sold out due to the 4th of July. So I had to make due. But never again will I go there.

Seemed like people were living there long term, drug activities apparent. Staff was really nice. No trash can in room. No wash clothes. No TV remote.

Behind the Hotel where guests are to park, one of the closer empty spots appeared to have someones belongings dumped in the spot... Clothing, a trophy and other misc. items. Inside the Room. There was no Toilet Paper, and no means to hang or mount the Toilet paper even if there was TP. The inside of the Door Handle was held together/to the door with Blue Painters Tape. Real Secure. The A/C worked but not sure it was cold?? and the Vent was busted revealing a very dirty A/C Unit inside. After my Shower the next morning noticed a huge water spot/stain on the Ceiling inside the Shower (No Doubt from the Unit Upstairs)...Towels were stained... And then I noticed a Bug of some sort crawling across the Pillowcase of the bed I slept in. Checking out....Could not find anyone. I just left my Key at the Night window, which had a Phone Book covering the inside of the Hole. I survived my stay, and although I've stayed in some pretty nasty Hotels over the years. This one was the worst. I was pretty angry when I left.

I liked nothing about the property. Here is an incomplete enumeration of what was wrong with it: 1. Cockroaches everywhere, 2. Full large black garbage bags under 1 stairwell, 3. Mounds of empty plastic bottles under the same stairwell, 4. Grocery-market carts all over the parking lot. 5. Drive ways were partially unpaved, 6. Manager lied to my face on at least 2 occasions, 7. Large patched holes in rooms, 8. Large laundry hamper filled with soiled sheets in the outside hall, 9. Full room waste baskets outside of rooms, 10. Tin pile plates outside various rooms…

Hotel was very dirty and staff was very unresponsive. Very Noisy at night. Multiple arguments and altercations prevented us from sleeping. Left after 2 days because we simply couldn't take it anymore. Do not stay here.

They had no towls. Door lock was broken. The hotel was very trashy from outside. Bed sheets had cigarettes burned. Hotel manager said they didn't have any clean towels because they were not washed!

First of all they did not have my last name correctly and didn’t want to give me room even with the booking number. After more than 30 mins of going back and forth they finally said if I pay $100 cash I’ll get it. I did but didn’t get a receipt saying wait till I check out. Room was not none smoking and it needs repair.

No toilet paper we checked in late due to weather conditions and the front desk had us go to the housekeeping ladies room to get toilet paper she slept there and had to leave her family we felt so bad. The front desk people sleep in a tent in the front office and will leave you outside waiting to be checking in or out for over an hour. Area was sketchy when we asked to move because of all the issues with the rooms they said no the linens were so dirty white sheets were grey we did not even sleep in there thank god it was only one night while the weather cleared. They refused to refund us. Do not stay there. It was the worst.

2nd they gave us another room,which the key card didnt work. I asked for $$ back they refused. Finally gave us a unoccupied room that my key card could open. Rooms are old and dirty didnt stay the night

There was a couple bad things but a lot of good things getting too bad things out of the way there was no lights on the headboard, then there was no HDMI cable and the TV to the box so I didn't have TV ever but they were so generous and helpful when I checked in I went and bought them an HDMI cable put it on your TV for then and I left it there when I left thank you

The room had cockroaches. We had to always go looking for the maid to ask for clean sheets. The room was advertised with a microwave but it did not have one. The property manager entered our room twice without knocking on the door. He had some lame excuse why he barged in without knocking. He reeked of alcohol. My wife was afraid to stay in the room alone because of the property manager. I would not recommend this hotel to a dog much less a human. Only reason we stayed there was because they were the cheapest in town and it's all we could afford. Now we know why the rate are cheaper than the other motels in Downey. Looks like they have a bad rating in Yelp from customers.

The room was full of cockroaches, holes in the wall, dirty insinde and outside the room. Went to talk to receptionist and his solucion was that he could give me a bottle of Raid so I could kill the cockroaches. I requested a refund, he said I needed to contact Expedia directly, did so and refund was granted, but the property is the worst I have ever seen.

The room did not have blankets, towels, and toilet paper. The floors wasn't swept, sewing needle in the tub, dead roaches and hair in the microwave and mini refrigerator.

The place was filthy. Place was runner down, it stank of cigarette. The restrooms were grows.

Looks clean at first but it’s obvious there has been no deep cleaning. Blood splatter, holes in the walls/floors, busted mattress, lots of little hairs, stains, crawling critters throughout the room. I couldn’t afford anything else as I just lost my job and was forced to pack everything in my car, but honestly I wish I would’ve just saved my money and found a campsite.

The room was dusty, the fridge smelled and did not work properly, there four roaches I found lurking about and the bed, although comfortable, the frame was loose and the middle bar is bent. It was not what I expected and will never stay here again. The woman when I checked in also wanted a $100 deposit and I said that there was nothing in the ad for this on hotels.com that stated that.

The person at the front desk was mad at me for waking her baby when I tried to check in to the place. The room itself was bare, and had roaches in the bathroom and sink area. The bed itself at least was very comfortable.

Gross. Roaches.

Bugs in the fridge. Multiple lighs out. Very dim room. Lots of old appliances in the pool area and on the property outside of rooms. Bugs in the hot tub. Ice machine not working.

This property is dirty and unsafe because of the conditions its in. The property owner was rude and very unprofessional! The property had old furniture outside on the premises. No wash cloths, tissue, or trash can inside the rooms.

There should be a disclaimer that hotel is actively being remodeled. There is construction debris everywhere. All refrigerators were outside. The staff was ok, but couldn't help my parents because I booked through 3rd party. Would never book again. Prospector beware. Call to confirm renovations are complete before staying here.
