Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Miami Airport West/Doral

Stayed one night prior to boarding a cruise. The rooms were clean, breakfast was warm, staff was friendly would definitely stay again. Free shuttle was a plus from the airport to hotel, however it is worth mentioning you will wait longer for this shuttle as the hotel is not close by the airport. No complaints from me, since it was free and we were a large group.

Many restaurants within walking distance. Airport shuttle was appreciated also. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast and the first shuttle are at the same time, 7:00am. It seems that it would be nice to have the breakfast available 30 minutes before the first shuttle so those folks could grab a bite to eat before a day of travel.

The hotel was affordable and great value. Breakfast was plentiful. The room was in good condition and comfortable beds. Fitness center was good though kinda warm. We stayed one night and convenient to airport.

We especially appreciated the free hotel shuttle and the $15 cruise terminal shuttle. There were restaurants close by. The free laundry service and printing. Station were very much appreciated.

“I don’t know” There was also a lot of back and forth with me actually getting my room after a long flight which was annoying. Finally when checking out I asked if I could join the membership programme and was told no because I asked after I already checked out This staff member was overalll not very accommodative my entire stay.

Great place to stay, convenient to airport. They have a cruise shuttle, though the pricing for two was basically what we would have paid for an Uber/Lyft. Desk staff courteous and helpful. Great in-house breakfast buffet options.

I only liked the coffee, food could use a bit more variety. Most hotels have blueberry waffles, your waffles mix was to dense and thick. Even though the price of the room included breakfast, it was not worth it, but I'm not complaining because the room was excellent and comfy. And you provide a third party ride to the pier, that was awesome, not to worry about getting an Uber. I would stay here again. Thanks The Breakfast

Amenities could be improved. Being an airporr hotel with a shuttle there are a lot of planes that leave at 7 am. When your plane takes off at 7 a ahuttle that starts then it doesn't help. Also, milk should be available for small toddlers at night.

The assistant manager checked me in and went above and beyond. He demonstrated excellent customer service skills.

The shuttle to the airport was convenient. A breakfast was average but satisfying. Check-in was polite but not informative.( no info on how to obtain WiFi; check-out time info or amenities the Hotel provided). The room did not have this info either. The ice-machine was broken on the 2nd floor(with no info on this. The bed's were not comfortable. The room phone was very static when used.

Booked here due to airport shuttle. Our flight was delayed. Called for ride at 10:31. Was rudely told it stopped at 10:30 and the driver would not be back for us. There was no time listed that shuttle ran and not even an apology was offered.

Comfort Airport transportation and communication from staff were very poor.

The property was clean and well maintained. The room and bathroom were also very nice. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast but I did grab coffee on my way out one morning and everything was nice and organized. This is also in a central part of Doral and close to everything which was also a bonus.

The room is too dark needs renovation, staff is not friendly probably because he is a trainee and my parking was not included in my room rate and he lack information about your room inclusive that you need to ask him.

The hotel is in the heart of Doral. Walking distance to Doral City Place. The room is comfortable and updated. I requested for a late checkout and the front desk clerk was able to accommodate. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is close to the airport, shopping centers, restaurants. It is a convenient place to stay because it is affordable . I would say it needs mantainance since certain areas the wall paper is coming down, one of the rooms I was going to get the lock was not working properly, pillows could be better quality, also towels are very old. The bed and sheets are ok.

The breakfast is limited in terms of healthy or vegan options. They also shut down breakfast at 9 which is too early. The shuttle service runs only until 10pm so if your flight is delayed, expected to have to take an Uber or a taxi which can be expensive even though the hotel is only about 15 minutes from the airport.

Shuttle from airport took me to the wrong hotel. I had to return to the airport and then call your hotel for the shuttle to pick me up. When I arrived At this hotel, the receptionist that evening and the one the next day were excellent. The day I left, the elevators were not working, but they handled the angry guests professionally and courteously. Breakfast before departing was very good as was the show to the port. The room was very clean.

Stayed a few times at the Doral location while son attended University of Miami. The first stay was around 2021 and the pandemic protocols were prevalent. Many hotels were tested for their cleanliness regiment and Fairfield Inn always gave that extra layer of reassurance. The staff has always been personable and engaging. In the midst of carry out their task, they always would stop to greet guest. The location is great as it is not far from restaurants, airport, pharmacy and malls. Publix Doral is 3 min Drive away with indoor parking and super clean. The breakfast is great and offers sufficient variety to please the health conscious and the not so selective guests. Free and sufficient parking is a plus. When you are heading in from a hard day the last thing you want is to circle the lot looking for a park. The various key access entrances facilitates easy access to vehicles to load / unload luggage. The rooms have always been impeccably clean, does not feel damp, poorly lit and congested as other hotels. I would highly recommend Fairfield Inn. It gives you the feel of being home.

The property was over priced. We stayed one night before a cruise. I called for transportation from the airport and was told a van was headed to the airport and it would be 15-20 minutes. I waited outside for over a hour for a shuttle to arrive. The shuttle transportation to the cruise port was a plus. The area where the coffee was had cup rings from spilled coffee. There were long strands of hair all over the bathroom and a strand on the sheets when I pulled the covers back. House keeping came in to re-clean the room. I was very dissatisfied for the state of the room and the cost of the room.

The check in process was super easy and quick. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early with no problem as well. The room smelled so good when I open the door and it was very clean. Definitely recommend this hotel!

A good location that is close to the airport

The staff was so nice to us at checkin. We had gotten off our cruise ship early and stayed here since our flight was the next day. They worked to accommodate us and get us in a room as soon as possible. We really appreciated this since we had a very tired 5 year old. We would stay here again next time in Miami.

Outside property is not clean, no landscape but on the front of property. Made us and many other guest wait for hours because they did not have clean rooms available. Room had a dirty toilet, dirty/old shower curtain and trash in drawers. I would NEVER give this property a four star. Based on our experience, I would say property is a strong two, low three star property.

Was perfect for what we needed. We got in late to Miami for our cruise the next day. There were 4 adults and two children in our party. We got a two queen room with a pullout sofa. I wouldn’t put anyone on a pullout sofa for any length of time and this one was no exception but it wasn’t very long and the children were still sound asleep when we woke up so it must’ve not been too bad. There was a free shuttle that picked us up from the airport which is only a few miles away. There is a shuttle that takes you to the cruise terminal as well but it isn’t free and uber was cheaper than the $15 per person the hotel would charge us so we didn’t use it. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. We got up and got a free breakfast and headed to the boat. My husband walked to a nearby convenience store for coke to take with us on the cruise and felt safe enough but other than that I can’t really comment on the surrounding area we were in.

I have been traveling to Miami for business since late 2020, after the Pandemic and I have tried many different hotels within the Doral area and for some reason, never tried this one. It is a newer hotel built in 2018 and it was surely a fabulous upgrade compared to other hotels that I have stayed in within Doral. I 100% recommend this hotel for comfort, look, cleanliness etc. I will for sure make this my go to hotel to rent when I come down to the area for work once each quarter.

This hotel plays music in hotel corridors 24h non stop ! All i wanted was a sleep not everyone can sleep with music !
