Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Its location is praised for being convenient and close to downtown attractions. However, the valet service and parking fees are frequently criticized as being too expensive. Some guests also mention issues with the breakfast and the size of the rooms.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Expensive valet service and parking fees
- Breakfast quality and variety could be improved

Close to popular areas.
- 2/5
They were very accommodating when we requested early check in. The room was small- too small for a king bed. Only place to sit was a desk chair or bed. No room if someone stopped by. Only 3 very flat/soft pillows- should have a choice of soft or firm. Hand soap was out, shampoo was nearly out. Bed was made poorly- the fitted sheet would not stay on. No closet, no dresser, no safe. Very minimalistic. Lobby hot water (for tea) was out. I was instructed to get cold water from the bar and heat it in the microwave on the other side of lobby. No offer to get more hot water.
- 4/5
The breakfast was very good, there was a lot to choose from and plenty of food.
- 3/5
Our thermostat didn’t work right the first night. We set the temp at 63, but it was still in the 70s, which was down from the upper 70s-80s when we got into it. In the morning we asked them to look at it (we had been out till 11pm so didn’t know it never cooled down very much) and they did because it was much cooler when we got back at 6pm. The breakfast was nice. The elevator worked weirdly. You use your key to activate it, but the sensor was finicky. Each person had to scan their card for their floor. Sometimes it took too long and we had already gone by their floor. It’s a 22 story hotel, and it is shared with a Home 2 Stay. Location is one block off 16th street free shuttle with lots of shops and restaurants. I’m going to try to avoid TRU hotels in the future if they are so “Scandinavian”
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in the perfect location for us! We went to the Cubs game at Coors Field and it was roughly a 15-20 minute walk. Lots of bars and restaurants along the way.
- 5/5
Something is weird with the elevators, takes super long time for them to get to you, other than that, absolute perfect stay!!
- 2/5
First of all, it’s not a good stay with a family. There were no dressers or closets. There were two hangers in the room and we had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper multiple times a day to actually get them to bring them to our room. The elevators hardly ever were running correctly and when we were there the Denver fire dept came to rescue people from an elevator they were stuck in . Good for a 1 or 2 night stay for a single adult. One of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in.
- 4/5
One complaint is the key cards used in the elevators took many tries to select floor. Witnessed other people as well.

Nice parking, clean room helpful staff
- 5/5
The location was excellent, although there were quite a few homeless people around the area. They were not threatening, but it was still noticeable. The breakfast was also good, and the hotel was very convenient for walking around and exploring the nearby area.
- 4/5
Room was clean, however very small. The draft that comes in from the hallway under the door is super LOUD and makes sleeping difficult. We had to shove towels in the crack for a good nights sleep. The parking garage is tight and a larger vehicles would not fit. We had a hard time with a midsize crossover. Took longer than it should to exit, scan your ticket, then wait 6-7 minutes for gate to open.

The hotel staff called the security on me. All because I used the name of mine which I am going to change it. I explained to them, but she wasn’t ready to hear me. They called the security police to threw me out. Their attitude was very poor.
- 4.5/5
location was perfect! 24/7 coffee and tea was amazing breakfast
- 0.5/5
Staff at front desk were helpful Better lost or left item communication. Still waiting for a response. Taking way too long to hear back.
- 1/5
Location is walkable to the convention center. Teeny tiny rooms with little to no amenities. No microwave in the rooms, cold breakfast, no dresser or anywhere to unpack, only one nightstand, no body soap in the whole hotel, majority of the staff was kind of rude, they gave me bath mats when I asked for towels, and the key cards don’t work to use the elevator.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice
- 4/5
Room was clean except had some stains on walls. Coffee bar was not well stocked. Breakfast was pretty standard. One elevator was broken and it took forever for the other three to call to our floor. Seemed like a pretty chaotic place as there was a festival, a convention, and a big concert all the same weekend.
- 0.5/5
The elevator did not work for 10 mins. I pushed emergency bell . It did not work.
- 2/5
3 coffee bins in lobby were empty at 9 am, breakfast buffet was almost empty by 10 am. Wallpaper was peeling off in bathroom.

Yes breakfast was easy going
- 4/5
I have a good breakfast but more than two days it's monotonous In the middle of my four-day stay, someone at the desk decided that we no longer had access to our two rooms, the solution took too long, there was a factor of distrust despite showing our IDs and the credit card receipts to cover the $400 guarantee. Unacceptable

I booked through hotels.com, I was supposed to be charged at the property but they already used the card in file. At the property I wanted to use two cards as I booked two rooms for myself and my colleague. Both rooms were deducted from my card and the staff could not do anything about it, at least that is what they said.
- 5/5
Great location. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had lots of hot water. Breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful. I highly recommend it.
- 3.5/5
Well located hostel, super comfortable with lots of restaurants and shops around. Clean & comfortable rooms. I would recommend it for staying. There was unfortunately a major issue with the payment process, so I would strongly recommend that international travellers use a credit card when staying here. The property charges a fairly high refundable deposit per night. Due to a miscommunication, I was checked out while I was away working, without being contacted beforehand. I was then informed that my 4-night stay had not been paid for, despite the earlier payment already being processed. As a result, I had to pay for the stay again while waiting for the original amount to be refunded. The refund eventually came through, but it took nearly three weeks, which was quite stressful and inconvenient while traveling.

- 5/5
Good place to stay. Close to restaurants and shopping
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole property was very clean. City views from the top floor were incredible. Our room was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was fresh and well stocked, but very crowded with other guests. Most guests seemed to be staying for a conference so we felt a little out of place. The lobby was also quite busy and loud well into the evening. 2 of 4 elevators were out of service so getting to our room/back to lobby took a bit of time. We parked in the garage across the street and our car was safe and secure both nights.

Breakfast was good; staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and just overall great; the room was large, clean, and comfortable; there wasn’t a pool that we could see but you’re downtown where there are lots of things to do.

Second time staying here and will always consider this hotel if/when visiting Denver. Nice, clean and quiet...
- 4/5

- 4/5
The room was clean and staff was friendly, I enjoyed the free breakfast. The key situation in the elevator was a bit annoying. My key worked perfectly on my door, but you have to use it in the elevator to get to your floor- which I appreciate for safety- but mine did not work well at all. Every time I used the elevator, I was standing in front of the door for a couple minutes trying to get it to recognize my key- a little frustrating. But overall, a conveniently located, nice stay
- 4/5
Parking was convenient but expensive. The breakfast was all good except the sausage. The sausage patties were hard and the sausage links were not good. I think they were plant based and awful.

g8 location the valet parking was so so easy, but that reflected in the price. nice narket place shopt but again card only and self service g8 lobby area fabu, ous largo comfy room, guest laundry a must on a road trip big big shower. very clean, and we had a g8 view of the city with the snow topped mountains in the background lovely big breakfast room, and a good choice, but sadly not for people like me with a allergy no gluten free no gluten free, self service market place at times very busy

Staff was nice. Liked that there was security outside. Valet was nice and friendly. Free breakfast was good and busy. Free HBO was nice. Our hotel room was clean. The bar was tended by a nice lady. Overall good experience and I liked the easy walk all over downtown.
- 5/5
Great location to downtown and surrounding area.
- 3/5
This hotel was good but to get up to your room the system you have to use was horrible! It wouldn’t read our room keys to pick our room floor, there would be a few people stuck together in the elevator because the card reader wouldn’t work. Such an inconvenience. I know it’s for safety purposes but I’ve used other hotels system and had no issues. It’s also difficult to get a hold of someone at the Fri r desk via call, we had to go down if we had any questions or needed something.

Perfect for a 1-2 day stay, breakfast was great! a nice range of food, room was clean, the snack bar to purchase snacks was bonus and valet was very professional!
- 4/5
The check was great was able to get in early. The room was nice but found some long black hairs by the bed and bathroom. The first night was good and quiet. The need few days not so much kids running up and down the hallway slapping doors after quiet hours. I know it’s not the hotel fault but was very annoying when trying to sleep. The breakfast was good wish they just had more egg options. Overall we would stay there again it’s very centrally located to walk everywhere.
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly, staff was knowledgeable about the area
- 3/5
The hotel was lovely but sadly I would not stay here again because of the ridiculous daily parking fee of $62
- 4/5
The place is centrally located to walk everywhere. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was good. Our was clean but had women black hair all over. Also the 2nd night had kids running up and down the hall way and outside our door after quite hours. But overall it was a nice place to stay! Have a nice bar downstairs as well.

The breakfast gave me food poisoning, the room was clean through a quick sweep around but we found food crumbs by the edge of the bed on the right side. There was no towels, we had to get some. The tv remote barely worked at times.
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh and with a good taste
- 3.5/5
Breakfast had a lot of choices and was well presented. However, when I got there at 8:45 they were out of orange juice, forks and spoons and fresh fruit. Shower door was not properly installed so water got on floor. The mattress was saggy. There was only a reading light on one side of king bed.

Location and breakfast were good Horrible experience. Booked at $500/ big hr with taxes and expected much better. - toilet did not flush - dirt on the floor - soap dispenser empty at sink - did not give any housekeeping- so no bed was made or towel refresh or cleaning - truly dirty and horrible experience

Room was very nice. Bed was comfortable. I like how clean it was wish they would’ve had a nice big bathtub, but the shower worked fine as well. Staff were nice very central to everything downtown. I just wish they had more luggage carts. I had to tote my things to the car due to no carts being available.

- 2/5
Advertised arcade and gane room but all they had was a shuffleboard table in the lobby. Breakfast was disorganized, inefficient and slow. They were understaffed and not prepared for the amount of guest they had. Food would get cold by the time we were through the line. We had to wait for a long time for hot food. Everything was delicious, but the experience as a whole was poor because the delicious become less delicious when cold or sitting on a table for long.

This hotel is convenient to walk to 16th street and catch the bus to get on a train to ball arena. It is close to many good restaurants and shopping. The rooms air was okay, it turned on and off a lot. $64 for valet parking seems a bit ridiculous. There are other close by parking but have not heard good reviews about them.
- 5/5
Great location in Downtown Denver, great staff!
- 4/5
Property is average. Really what you get for the price. What it’s outstanding is the price for the parking I know it won’t change and it’s convenient but really paying over 50% of night price on parking is crazy.. you can go to a better hotel for same price including parking..I won’t be back just because of that. Hotel is fine.
- 5/5
Great location if working at the Comvention Ceyer and if you want to walk to restaurants in the evening!
- 5/5
This place was great! Everyone was nice and helped!

- 4/5
Great location, 10” walk to Union Station and train line to airport. Room was small but clean and efficient.
- 4/5
Efficient and kind!
- 5/5
All was great with a good breakfast. My only comment is that the sheets were so thin, they were almost like tissue paper.
- 3/5
Upon arrival, it took about 10 minutes before I was able to valet my car at check-in. Considering valet is $65 a night. I would think they would be more eager to get you checked in quicker. I had a king size room, which is pretty basic. One of the reading lights was basically nonexistent. The door to the bathroom would not latch. And it was a bit challenging to find enough outlets in the room. Overall, it was a good value for the price, but I don’t think I would return.

The front desk checkout staff were so awesome and friendly. My favorite part of the hotel staff were your bartenders and your ballet staff. They were so helpful and so easygoing. They made my day when I got to interact with them. Truly a great place to stay. I enjoy coming here every year. The environment is peaceful and clean. Thanks!
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable but the door handle didn't latch or lock. We felt safe but told the front desk upon our departure. The gentlemen that was in charge of breakfast worked very hard and made sure everything was clean and in order. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. I think that charging $65 for overnight parking is ridiculous and it angers me that it feels like you are being held hostage for that amount over and above the cost of the room.
- 4/5
Great location, staff lacked a little on communication when they offered the ability to text. I even messaged back on the Expedia app and they messaged me back after I had already stayed. Breakfast is nice.
- 5/5
Clean quiet hotel
- 5/5
The room was clean aside from a wall in the bathroom. They changed the sheets and gave clean towels every other day. The bartender was so nice to talk to, and the breakfast area was the biggest I’d ever seen. The hotel is also a block away from 16th street with its shops. The walk to union station isn’t bad, but you can take the free 16th street bus there.

Room was clean and very modern. Elevator moves slightly more than I expected (more than up and down) it wiggles. But the surrounding area seems safe. There is a near by pizza place that is really good and Walgreens just down one block if you need something. Breakfast was good. No pool or hot tub
- 5/5
Very convenient location and friendly and accommodating staff
- 4/5
The room was clean which was nice, the only thing I woch they had were ice buckets didnt have one. Other then that was a good hotel to stay for the price.
- 3/5
the hotel was honestly not bad at all - beautifully designed and so many free amenities including breakfast and the gym and was in the middle of so many places. initially checked in late due to the flight, the person who was as there at the time did not once smile when they saw us and honestly looked like they didn’t want to be there at all so they experience was a bit off however since it was late in the night I guess it could’ve been the reason. the other thing was we had opened the fridge in our room and there was food left in there from previous stayers. I messaged the staff and they just said throw them away and didn’t attempt to make it up. it’s pretty gross seeing half eaten sushi in there. otherwise the stay was decent
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and accommodating! Hotel was nice and extremely convenient for our stay since we were attending an event at the convention center. Breakfast was good!
- 5/5
Yes room was clean small but comfortable. Staff was great.
- 5/5
- 5/5
Really good property in Downtown. Everything nearby. Breakfast was good
- 5/5
Overall. The hotel brought a great value. Amenities def stood up
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Great staff
- 2/5
First check in was terrible. There was half a dozen people in line with one front desk lady. Second the room could’ve been cleaner the bathroom definitely was not as clean as it could’ve been, half our lights in the room didn’t work. Bathroom fan didn’t work. And the furniture had stains and tears. Lastly parking is outrageous I could’ve stayed in a luxury hotel with what we paid in total.
- 5/5
It was a decent place to stay. View was incredible. I’ll have to return soon.
- 4/5
Buena estancia. Muy céntrico
- 4/5
The room was spotless and had no odors. But the breakfast platters available were inconsistent. There was also no outlet for the hair dryer in the bathroom.
- 4/5
Breakfast was very nice.
- 3/5
Had another room make noise till one in the morning was unable to get a hold of the front desk at one in the morning and had to go down to make a complaint to rectify the situation. Another time we were short of supplies for the bathroom and had to go down to front desk ourselves versus getting them delivered - they need a little more help on the front desk side.
- 4/5
The property is nice but for a hotel that allows pets, there is no close area to let dogs do their business. It would be helpful for pet owners to also know that the rooms start on floor 7 and not a ground floor. Though my room refrigerator was broken it was replaced quickly and the staff was very nice
- 2/5
First, upon check in, the key cards I was initially given for my room DID NOT WORK. I had to go all the way back down to reception and get new keys. Secondly, the bed had 3 pillows and those pillows were pretty flat as it was... on my second night I texted the help line they insist on having you do and ask for more pillows. THREE HOURS LATER they texted me back asking if i received the pillows and i had informed them that i did not. NO RESPONSE. I then called the front desk and the guy said he will try to get ahold of house keeping. Nothing 6 hours later i called again and within an hour pillows were finally delivered. Breakfast was good but they kept running out of everything. The lines were also long. I couple adjustments would make the whole breakfast flow a lot better. My room was loud. Between the AC being super loud and the noice from the outside/street it was difficult to get good sleep.
- 4/5
Great price for location.
- 5/5
Great lobby area to hang out, open breakfast that lasted several hours, rooms had great views and it was very clean!
- 4/5

- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Overall, everything with a great experience
- 5/5
First, our flight arrived early and the staff was able to accommodate the request without hesitation. That alone won my wife and myself over. Then the full breakfast was the icing on the cake. We only visited for 3 days. The room was exactly what we needed for the tine spent: comfortable bed and decent size bathroom. And did I mention it only cost $200 for 3 days! Wasn't happy about the $100/day deposit but it was a great stay.
- 4/5
Location
- 5/5
Great breakfast fast check in. The room a a little small but not uncomfortable. Clean and walking distance to many places
- 5/5
Staff was extremely nice, breakfast was good, hotel itself was clean & perfect for our 4day stay.
- 5/5
Yes. I had a great time at Hotel. I would recommend with other friends and family. Thank you.
- 5/5
The room was clean. Check in was easy and breakfast was a bonus.
- 3/5
It would be nice if upon checkin staff would tell you where elevators are. Room was small
- 1/5
The hotel charged me for 5 days parking at $64 per night. Whereas I used it for 2 nights only. This is a total of $192 and thwy are yet to give me back my money. It was a rental car and the car receipt / Invoice was also show to them, as evidence
- 2/5
We needed another pillow and I called down around 9:30 and was told room service would prong one. At 10:40 no one had come by so I called back down again. I was told the house keepers went home in about 30 min and my request problem got lost in the shuffle of things. I said I understood but just needed one more pillow. No one ever brought one. There was also a large group of kids staying that were very loud till past midnight. Did not sleep well due to noise and no pillow.
- 5/5
Very clean great price great location.
- 4/5
The one thing that was interesting was no acknowledgment from the staff during the
- 5/5
All of the above.
- 4/5
Valet was amazing
- 5/5
Will stay again next time I’m in Denver.
- 5/5
The valet Dan was amazing, he went above to assist us
- 3/5
The front desk agent never looked up so not what I would call a friendly and welcoming personality. I don’t think I’d stay there again.
- 5/5
Wonder
- 3/5
I understand being short staffed but check in took almost 30 minutes and the hotel was dirty. It looked like they were not able to vacuum in any of the common areas. Also, $65 a day for parking is really steep. We don't plan on staying at this Tru location in the future.
- 2/5
The first room we were out in was terrible. Run down and broken. After speaking with the front desk rep they moved us to another room that had bodily fluids on the door of the bathroom. They moved us again. The third room on was fine but this is not my usual tru experience. I have stayed at different trus around the US and this one was by far the worst.
- 5/5
It was a quick trip to the city to see a performance. Hotel was conveniently located to the venue. Reasonably priced.
- 3/5
Staff was very accommodating, but two of the 4 elevators were out and we were waiting 15-20 minutes just to get to our room.
- 5/5
Easy check in, peaceful, quiet. In a very convenient and walkable location and close to the 16th St Market!
- 4/5
Clean room and great staff!
- 2/5
“You all charge an absurd amount for parking, and for what? The room was in terrible condition. There was rust in the shower, only one of the shower heads worked, and the fridge was completely useless. I shouldn’t have to deal with problems like this after paying that much. This stay was unbelievably disappointing, and I am highly unsatisfied.”
- 5/5
Clean room. Great location. Insulated walls and doors. I didn’t hear anything throughout the night.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!!!
- 5/5
New heights of convenience
- 4/5
It was clean, staff was friendly!
- 5/5
Clean room and nice staff
- 5/5
Quiet. Great location.
- 5/5
I was impressed by the cleanliness and the selections for breakfast. It had everything I needed for a quick trip.
- 5/5
Nice staff, nice room, clean
- 4/5
Great breakfast menus
- 5/5
Grrat room and staff, close to everywhere we needed to go
- 5/5
Clean room, great downtown location and excellent breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean room great staff
- 3/5
The hotel was not prepared to receive guests at 3p, and when the game starts in the evening, I am counting on my hotel to meet their obligations to get me to my room timely. I thought the delayed acceptance to the hotel was a one off due to the Broncos game, until I came to the lobby at 3:30p the next day l and heard others complaining that they could not get into their room timely. This suggests a habitual problem.
- 4/5
Room was dark, Tried to get a new light bulb for 3 days without success. Breakfast was good, room was clean. No coffee in room.
- 3/5
Parking charge was outrageous
- 3/5
Staff at night , there were people in the hotels
- 3/5
Check in was slow and crowded with limited staff. Very busy hotel.
- 3/5
Beware of the parking fees! It costs $64 a day to park at the hotel! Good location, small rooms, good buffet breakfast, uncomfortable bed.
- 2/5
We had to switch rooms because the ac was making a weird sound. And the breakfast was not good at all. Good location and nice rooms overall tho.
- 5/5
Great staff at a late-night check-in. Kind and accommodating bar staff, as well. Roomy breakfast facility. Nice room views. Perfect location.
- 4/5
There is no bar. The market was okay and breakfast was good, but there should be bacon everyday.
- 4/5
Clean room, great staff, room kinda small for our liking. Workout room great!
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff, great area to walk around
- 5/5
Straight downtown Denver right next to the 16th Street open mall, so many stores or dining areas to choose from, and only a 16 minute walk from thirsty lion which has a shuttle that takes you to red rocks for shows...not a bad walk, or they have a free bus ride that takes you up and down 16th St which also puts you in front of thirsty lion if need be
- 5/5
Great stay in downtown Denver
- 5/5
Very conveniently located for our events this past weekend. The bar was closed when we got back from our concert, but the room was very nice, and the breakfast was amazing.
- 4/5
When we returned around 11 p.m., the TV still wasn’t working. We also noticed the toilet tank had no water and wouldn’t refill after flushing. We called the front desk again and were told there was no maintenance on site, but the staff member could come up and try to look at it himself. By the time he arrived, we had managed to get the toilet working by turning the valve off and back on. We let him know and brought up the TV issue again, but he repeated that maintenance wasn’t available and began backing out into the hallway and then left. I let the desk know when we were leaving about the TV not working and the toilet issues. She was very nice and apologetic.
- 4/5
Loved how dogs were welcomed!! However had planters blocked off for dogs :( we were able to find some turf but at the other hotel or pet place few blocks down. Yes it’s an “easy” walk however our dogs, they are still in training and bit of anxious of traveling. Having to walk that far was a very stressful experience for us and our dogs. While yes, our dogs or problems but they are also guests and should have at least one or two tree areas close by for convenience and inclusivity
- 5/5
Super easy and close to 16th St
- 5/5
Nice location, easy to get everywhere downtown. Gabby at the hotel bar was so kind and accommodating. Grab and go pantry is great. Comfortable bed in a compact room. Quiet. Shower door design is allowing a lot of water out, which may be a maintenance nightmare down the road. Would absolutely stay again.
- 5/5
clean room, good attitude
- 5/5
like the breakfast and 24 hour coffe
- 4/5
Paying additional #60+ for parking is a bit outrageous.. P.S no shoes no service at breakfast!!
- 5/5
It was great, and very convenient to get to ball arena.
- 2/5
There is no TRU sign in front of the building where the address is. The entrance area is the worst that I've ever encountered. TRU shares the property with another Hilton property and all of the people checking in and going in and out of the building have about 8 feet to wiggle through the doors. The other entrance was shut down for our entire stay.
- 4/5
Elevators are slow and people tend to pile up
- 1/5
Zero frills to where it was not functional. No closet, just a hanging rail and some hooks. Not even a single drawer for any unpacking. No safe for valuables. No place to sit except the bed or the single uncomfortable desk chair with no real way to watch the TV except laying on the bed. Also, parking was problematic and they charged $64 per night for valet.
- 4/5
Clean facilities, walkable location, easy valet parking, yummy breakfast.
- 4/5
Prior to booking the reservation online, there was no indication that they only do cleaning service on the rooms every second day. Was disappointed with that lack of service for the price of the room.
- 2/5
For the price you pay the rooms are very crammed together. Walkways in the room are very small even for two of us staying it felt very small. There isn’t a pool and dining was very limited.
- 2/5
Took an hour to check out from 17th floor due to lack of working elevators. The 2 that worked were slow as a snail.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff, free breakfast, ability to recycle, and on-site (valet) parking!
- 4/5
I had a pleasant stay at this property. I was in town for a convention for three days. Outside of the odd card slot you have to put something into for the lights to work in the rooms, and the mattresses that desperately need to be replaced, it was a great stay. It was quiet and clean. Nothing in the room was damaged or in disrepair. The complementary morning breakfast was decent. All-in-all, I would stay here again if they replace the mattresses.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Close to Coors Field and Union Station.
- 4/5
This place is super nice and clean and perfectly placed to go anywhere in downtown. It should be advertised better that there is ONLY valet parking. We were on motorcycles and still got charged for valet parking when we had to park our selves.
- 5/5
It was short walk to Coors Field and an excellent breakfast available on premises.
- 5/5
From beginning to end our stay at this hotel was wonderful. Very convenient and close to everything. Great breakfast se up.
- 5/5
Great, affordable stay in Downtown.
- 5/5
First time here nice and friendly
- 4/5
The lobby seating was unique.
- 5/5
Every staff member we encountered was very nice and greeted us.
- 5/5
Helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet. Good location for conference at convention center.
- 4/5
We did not know it was vallet parking. Would have been good to know before we got there.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great and gym equipment was up to date.
- 1/5
Room was not ready when we arrived, note we arrived 2 hrs after check in time. Over booking issues and staffing issues they also claimed the elevators were down for an hour. Pillows were horrible. Shower door was broken. Did not try the breakfast.
- 4/5
Good hotel, conveniently located near Colorado Convention Center, 16th Street Mall area, and train station. Breakfast was good. Elevators were slow, but to be fair, the hotel was completely booked for the week I was there.
- 4/5
This hotel was very convenient to Ball arena. The guys at Valet parking were amazing and very fast. The room was comfortable except for: not completely dark when the sun came up so we were awake about 6:00; the blinking flash on the smoke alarm is way to bright as we thought it was lightening until we realized what it was; and the dispenser bottles in the bathroom were not user friendly. If the bottles are full, you can squeeze them easily, but if they are not full, you have to squeeze way too hard to get soap out. Would be hard if someone had arthritis in their hands. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good. We would stay here again but bring our own soap products.
- 4/5
It would have been a much better stay with a microwave in the room. Riding the elevator 15 floors to warm food was terrible.
- 4/5
Great Hotel, elevators are rather slow, but no complaints about the hotel itself. Be aware that the Valet parking is rather steep at $64, it the only option for parking at the hotel.
- 5/5
Hilton TRU Denver seems to have hit the sweet spot in terms of location, quality and cost. Rooms are comfortable and have enough space to allow for open suitcases without it feeling cramped. With the shelves and desk space, my wife and me were able to have our own areas for unpacking without tripping over each other. Location in terms of proximity to 16 Street Mall and a short walk to the capitol made it an ideal location.
- 2/5
The Hotel offers no discount parking, so overnight parking is $64. The room is very small and furniture placement is difficult for two people to navigate around. The room requires your door key to be placed in a receiver before you can use the bathroom lights- very odd. The coffee bar in the morning had no cups. I would not recommend this particular Hilton Property.
- 3/5
Lack of storage space in room was disappointing.
- 5/5
Pool area was a lot of fun
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff , location is great
- 4/5
Everything was as adverised will definately re-visit this Hotel for future stays.
- 4/5
Had a pleasant stay
- 4/5
Nice property. Decent breakfast options. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
The valets were friendly, however, they did not help get luggage out of the car or at check in or check out, or even offer, which was disappointing
- 5/5
It was a great stay
- 4/5
All good
- 5/5
Great value for such a great location in downtown Denver. Great breakfast options, coffee, hot water and hot chocolate available 24/7, great snack options available for purchase at all hours. Great valet service- but this does cost a lot!! No other parking options.
- 5/5
Tral location for my needs.
- 5/5
also loved the blackout curtains! helepd a lot so we can catch up on lost sleep while traveling
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. Room was clean and perfect with a view
- 5/5
Nice staff,
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was in walking distance to everything we needed.
- 3/5
Hard bed, horrible pillows, wind tunnel under room door
- 5/5
- 5/5
Great stay just expensive valet
- 1/5
I booked my trip until Friday, and when I showed up at 1am to check in they said it was until thursday. So I had to stand there for 30 extra min so they could figure it out and no resolution was made. they just comped my room for thursday night. But the comping did not really matter because I already paid.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Property was very convenient for the convention centre where I had a conference. Rooms simple and clean with good TV and bathroom. Lifts were very slow when I was there as out for maintenance. Quite a good gym, breakfast pretty basic and felt more like a prison canteen! 😂. If looking for a no-frills, good value option, this if a decent place to stay.
- 4/5
Parking is extra. And very pricy. 60$ a night
- 5/5
Prime location for accessing Convention Center!
- 5/5
One night stay as we went to the Rockies game Saturday night. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. I especially liked the bar.
- 5/5
Recommended!
- 5/5
Great and fast
- 3/5
I think the parking fee is outrageous. We were told 35.00 per night. At checkout they charged 35.00 per 8 hours. Thats insane, we are already paying to stay.
- 2/5
the roomwas dirty and specificaly the flloor that i had to clean with a towel to show to the front desk how dirti it was. They cleaned the room the day after
- 4/5
All that I can complain about is the sticking bathroom door. Other than that, everything was great. Recommended
- 5/5
Easy check-in and check out. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
- 4/5
Downtown in the heart of Denver
- 3/5
Staff unhelpful very lazy
- 4/5
Pretty nice hotel in convenient location close to mass transit. The location is kind of a bummer since there isn't much scenic/interesting to walk around to, but that's not the hotel's fault. Everything about the hotel was pretty great. Breakfast was a big selection but kind of low quality like cafeteria food. Super comfortable beds!
- 4/5
Very close to where we wanted to be in Denver, room was comfy
- 1/5
Room was dirty.
- 4/5
Everything was good, quiet, clean and friendly agents but consider the parking is not free, 64$ nightly and I think 32$ daily.
- 2/5
I have stayed here many times. This property has definitely declined. It was dirty and unkempt. We went to the bar at 7pm on Saturday and there was not a single patron there! The chairs were up on the surrounding tables. There was a sloppily dressed woman sitting at the bar on her computer. Ee asked if the bar was open. She said yes, but didn't get up from her seat. We decided not to disturb her any further by asking her to do her job. This was not a pleasant stay at all. I used to enjoy it here. I won't be back.
- 5/5
Was close to convention center. Staff personable
- 4/5
Small room.
- 2/5
Great bar and staff was amazing.
- 5/5
Good location, friendly staff and convenient .excellent services. And good breakfast.
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
Great price and location! I will stay again!
- 2/5
The front desk staff unfriendly. The bartender was rude. We will never stay there again.
- 4/5
The property is in a decent location. Their valet team were really personable. The beds are not comfortable and due to their 'under-bed storage area' they stick out farther than the mattress and I kept banging my knee. The pillows are not great, I had to get extras so my head wasn't laying flat on the bed.
- 5/5
Check in was easy, staff helped us out immediately. We loved the view from our room on the 17th floor. The beds were so amazing and firm, as well as the pillows. We all slept so good. We slept so good, we missed breakfast, but we've heard that was good too. Wished they had a pool, but other than that it was an amazing stay, would stay here again.
- 5/5
It was a great stay and room
- 2/5
This response was unacceptable. I was already charged for the night of June 15th and had every right to access my room immediately upon arrival. I was extremely tired and needed to rest in order to attend a work-related conference early the next morning. This delay in service impacted my ability to prepare for an important professional meeting. Not a hotel I can trust for work related activities.
- 4/5
Good value. DT Denver has a dreadful homeless issue. Keep your wits about you when walking in the neighborhood.
- 3/5
Rooms are really small. No coffee pot in the room. No ice machine on the floors for ice. Room was quiet. Nice shower. Valet parking was a plus. Staff very friendly.
- 1/5
bad
- 5/5
Stayed for night for a wedding around the block. Perfect for the price! Park next door for 1/2 off the valet rate and no wait.
- 5/5
The TRU by Hilton downtown Denver was a great stay. Great services and location.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
would definitely return
- 4/5
It was clean and spacious. I didn’t like that there was only 1 entrance around the valet.
- 3/5
Our bed pillows smelled pretty bad. 😢
- 5/5
Beautiful and center of downtown
- 4/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms, public spaces and breakfast areas were all clean.
