It is an older hotel, but well maintained. Has a restaurant and bar. The fire alarm did go off while we were there, but we were checking out that morning so it wasn't a big deal.
- 5/5
Loved every minute here. I'm a sucker for historic buildings but sometimes they just aren't kept up well. This place was perfect, clean, and the bar is so damn cool. We will be back!
- 5/5
Excellent location, one block from Union Station and the Thirsty Lion shuttle to Red Rocks. Very friendly staff. Clean historic room with physical key for large wooden door. Firm but comfy bed. Small bathroom, no fridge, need to ask front desk for ice. Delicious breakfast with smoked salmon and pastries, but awkward seating lobby. Would stay again!
- 4/5
Please take out the condition and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom or have the cleaning staff make sure they work. Mine were broken and unusable.
- 3/5
Doormen and valet is amazing, they know what they're doing!! Check-in and check-out was a little clunky. Almost like it was their first time. Just had a weird vibe. Also the fire alarm went off at around 6am. No staff communication, no mention of it during check-out. Maybe it's normal to the staff but it wasn't normal to me. Overall, a 4 star stay at a very expensive downtown hotel. I'd try another hotel downtown before I booked here again.

Best hotel in Denver.

The Oxford is easily on my list of favorite hotels! You’ll love everything about it; The staff, rooms, food, location are perfect and it’s beautiful! I would definitely recommend The Oxford, it’s a 10/10!

Incredible staff and an amazing experience

Great list cation near the train station, beautiful lobby and oops, great shower, lots of character. It’s a great place to stay!

The Oxford Hotel books loud parties inside the hotel directly below patron rooms. The floor was literally vibrating from the bass until 11 pm. Incompatible with sleeping and very disrespectful to their hotel guests. They should not have booked the affected rooms during this event.
- 5/5
This was a fantastic, historic hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful with all of the questions I had about the city, etc. It was steps from Union Station which allowed for fast travel throughout the city via the train. I loved everything about it and will definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
Breakfast was minimal at best. consisted of coffee, mini Danish, yogurt, and some fruit. It was available in the lobby which has just a few chairs so seating was not available. I suggested to front desk clerk that a full length mirror would be a welcome addition to the room. He replied that they only add furniture to the room if it fits the period decor. Really?! It cant be that difficult to find a mirror in an antique frame. The bathroom is small with little counter space. All in all, it was an okay stay but very over priced. We stayed there for its location which is across the street from Union Station.

The room was immaculate and the staff very friendly.

I love how old fashioned the hotel was and the use of actual keys. Loved the history of the hotel as well It’s not really so much the property, just the shady characters around the property.
- 5/5
Everything about this hotel was great.

Good
- 5/5
The only slight downside - and it is not major, given this is a downtown property, is that the street noise on the second floor was sometimes kind of loud. However, we slept through most of it. In the future, I would ask for a room higher up.
- 5/5
Continental breakfast included. A Hydration Station (hot, cold and sparkling water) and also a location on the 2nd floor to refill water bottles (important in dry Denver!).
- 4/5
Toilet was very iffy. I tried to call the hotel after we got home and could never get through to a human. I was charged for fees and never emailed a receipt. Please give me the number to the hotel (reaching a human who works there, please) so I can ask about my CC and my charges. Thank you! Staff was friendly and helpful in person; just wish I could speak to one of them now.

Walking distance to coors field, a ton of Breweries and resturants and shops as well as Union Station that took us back and forth to the airport. The complimentary car service and bourbon tasting were an unmatched service that really brought the experience us for us. All the staff was so nice and helpful. The place was clean, quiet, and beautiful and had so much history. There was nothing to not like. Everything was wonderful.

I love the location and the history. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. A unique, historical place to explore. The bourbon tasting in the evening is a great way to socialize and learn more about whiskey. The secret bar is awesome. A throw back to yesteryear. The location gives to access to anyplace in Denver either through mass transit, walking or ride share. Very convenient to/from the Denver Airport.
- 5/5
Was in town for the night to see a concert at The Summit and stayed at the Oxford. Enjoyed the hotel’s free bourbon tasting. All staff were great. Would absolutely stay there again.

My Oxford experience was lovely. Thank you

If you love a boutique hotel with a vibe of a bygone era inclusive of a knowledgeable dorman, real keys, and speakeasy - this is your spot! Loved everything about it. Definitely deserves a repeat visit

On site restaurant is amazing. Loved the PM free bourbon tasting. Room itself is beautiful, with that frontier elegance vibe that we were looking for in a Denver hotel.

Loved the proximity to Coors Field

Beautiful hotel. Wonderful gym. Helpful and kind staff. Great walkability, great area of DT Denver. Expensive parking was the only minor drawback, but not totally unexpected for downtown area.

Central downtown Denver within walking distance to 100’s of cafes and restaurants. 10 min walk to Coors stadium Close to aquarium and zoo Pet friendly No free parking No airport shuttle but the train station is a 1 minute walk away that runs straight to airport

The ambiance and knowledge we were staying in he oldest hotel in Denver was so cool. The staff from the Doormen to the front desk and room attendants were at the ready to help, answer questions and give suggestions for places to go. This spot in LoDo is the perfect jumping off point for all things downtown Denver has to offer. The breakfast and Bourbon tasting were truly icing on the cake! nothing

Our entire experience at The Oxford Hotel was first class. From my call just prior to arrival to confirm early check-in and then as we walked in the door 45 minutes later, Coco was outstanding! She remembered me and was very helpful in detailing all sorts of information to assist us with our stay. When we got to the room, it was lovely, clean and very welcoming, including the half-bottle of J Pinot Noir we received as part of the Expedia VIP reservation. The room had everything we needed and was VERY spacious! Later, Bailey was exceptional in helping us with other details, as well as the bourbon tasting, and then getting us a wine cooler (and ice!!), as well as nicer wine glasses than those already in the room to enjoy a bottle that we had purchased elsewhere, and truly could not have done anything to be more accommodating, proactive and intent on making sure our experience was the very best it could be. Out front, Stuart and his teammate whose name I don't recall, were wonderful! Stuart has such enthusiasm and love of the Oxford Hotel, and it flows through to how he takes care of his guests. As a hospitality professional myself, I truly cannot say enough about EVERYONE at this property. They all know the meaning of hospitality, and really make it personal. We also had an amazing experience at both The Cruise Room and the Urban Farmer for happy hour. We only had 24 hours in Denver, and they wer truly memorable thanks to everyone at The Oxford Hotel. Cheers to all of you!

- 4/5
Overall, the stay was wonderful and the staff were excellent. The location can’t be beat, within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. I prefer a softer bed and had a hard time sleeping, but I would still recommend the hotel.

This is my favorite hotel in Denver. Besides the gorgeous historical vibe, the rooms are large, amenities are great and staff is stellar. I just love it here and come several times a year ❤️
- 5/5
The room was clean and the claw foot bathtub was so nice to have. We stayed for St Patrick’s Day weekend and got to watch the parade from the comfort of our room. It was perfect!
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, super friendly. And the breakfast was delicious. Great vibe, great location! Enjoyed the stay!
- 5/5
Great location F & B options are top notch.
- 5/5
What lovely ambience and comfort, felt like a time capsule of Denver’s past. The breakfast was delicious, too. It’s located within a quick walk of both Coors Field and Union Station.
- 5/5
Fantastic historic hotel right by Union Station. The breakfast was extremely good - informal and simple but very nice. We loved the attached restaurant (best place we ate all trip!) and the bar is fantastic.
- 5/5
Spotless historic hotel, steps from Union Station. Large room with unique antique furnishings. We took advantage of the daily evening bourbon tasting, complimentary local car service, and the continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Cleanliness Lovely room (although we had an iron and no ironing board!-minor!) Friendly staff Downtown location
- 5/5
Great stay - large comfortable room and powerful shower. I loved the open fire in the lobby. All of the staff were friendly and helpful - especially Carlos at reception.
- 5/5
Great room, staff and amenities! Wonderful location and restaurant. Love this hotel!
- 5/5
Amazing old school place. Service perfect
- 5/5
Ahhhh I could not have been happier staying at The Oxford Hotel. As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted nicely with help with our luggage. The lobby is so cozy and gives a very welcoming vibe. Front desk was so kind and check in was super quick and easy. The room was very clean, loved the furniture setup, and such a comfortable bed. Had a nice street view of downtown and even got to see a cute couple take pregnancy photos. The location is absolutely perfect, because darn near everything is within walking distance, and the weather was great for being outside. They had events nightly, like a bourbon tasting and music. I have zero complaints! I cannot wait to come stay again and again. Thank you so much for helping make my trip the best birthday weekend ever.
- 4/5
Excellent room. Excellent location. Food not that good. No in-hotel store. I'd stay again and again because it's a nice hotel.

Valet guy was so nice. Front desk lady was a little snotty for the amount of the stay
- 5/5

Classic old time Hotel next to Train Station. Urban Farmer restaurant was excellent
- 5/5
We had the best time! The room was beautiful and the staff was amazing.
- 1.5/5
They charged me more than double for a room that had already been paid for. I booked with booking.com and per paid and the still charged me another $362.00. So I paid over $600.00 for a room that was $300. Bad business
- 5/5
The stay was very cozy. Being in such a historically significant building just added to a amazing ambiance. Honestly the location is a premium. I loved being walking distance to public transport and terrific shopping was my cherry on top!
- 3/5
The bathroom was the absolute closest bathroom I have ever been in at a hotel! We tried to warm it up many ways. The heater is very loud and sounds broken. The room was not exactly spotless...ithad leftover takeout items in the cabinet and food under the bed.sounds broken.
- 4/5
Loved the hotel, spa, restaurant, room. It was only the sounds of street racing all night that made it really hard to sleep until 4am.
- 5/5
All the above! Stay was perfect !
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was awesome. Location was great!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in a great location.
- 5/5
Rooms very clean.

Amazing loved our stay
- 5/5
A warm small hotel with an impressive historical pedigree in a central city location. The staff really treats you like guests and not just customers. The rooms have character, are generously sized and well appointed. Most welcomed are the host of included services and special attention to your needs. It has become our go to hotel when visiting Denver.
- 4.5/5
The building had a great renovation. We enjoyed the breakfast on the lobby and the location was great. We would come again.

Super cool Historic Hotel in downtown area close to train station We liked everything
- 3/5
Hotel was very clean, and the staff was really nice however our bed was very uncomfortable, the bed itself was uncomfortable, the pillows were all so lumpy; it felt like I was resting my head on a sack of tennis balls. The sheets were so crinkly and stiff, needless to say both me and my husband didn’t get any restful sleep our entire stay

- 5/5
Needs as well. Overall , the upmost friendly staff ever. Love staying at the Oxford :) great job to all. Keep up the good work .
- 3.5/5
The hotel is charming because it's old and from an era when high ceilings and architectural detail mattered. The location was great: as central as can be. And the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was okay: the quality of the food was reasonably healthy. However its location—in the lobby in front of the front desk and elevators, with no proper seating (or anywhere near enough of it) for eating it (i.e.: no dinner tables or chairs that are conducive to eating or digestion)—was the major problem. Without a "true" dining room — or even a private nook with cafe tables and chairs — the breakfast felt like an afterthought and was awkward to scarf down. Plus: with only industrial coffee—no espresso machines—we invariably went next door to pay for a *real* coffee. The other things about the hotel was the fitness center. A truly excellent one! However, it's in a separate building, run by an independent entity, and half the time, the gym wasn't open during their stated hours, since the staff invariably showed up late. Sadly, this meant mornings—when a number of people work out—were hit or miss. The best the hotel could offer was to give access to a third-party gym a few blocks away. Not ok.
- 5/5
Didn't have breakfast
- 4/5
Great location near EVERYTHING! However, the hotel is very dated. Charming boutique style hotel but needs updates with comfort amenities such as the air conditioning, mattress and door locks. The front desk isn’t the friendliest of people either. They acted as if they didn’t need patrons. Will stay in this area but at a different hotel on our next visit to Denver.
- 5/5
The hotel ambience was irreplacable! Didn’t want to leave!
- 4/5
Awesome staff
- 5/5
We enjoy staying at the Oxford. Close to Union Station and downtown Denver.
- 5/5
Attentive staff
- 5/5
The Oxford Hotel is wonderful. Everything is absolutely perfect. The room is beautiful, the food is delicious and everyone is very friendly. We love it.
- 5/5
Cute boutique hotel near Union Station. Rooms were very clean with comfy beds and pillows. Nice breakfast for all guests. Had to ask for ice at front desk as floors didn't appear to have ice machines. Valet gentlemen were all friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The staff are what make this hotel stand out amongst the other hotels in the area. Exceptional.
- 5/5
Beautiful historic hotel, very clean room and common areas, wonderful breakfast and great location. We will stay here again the next time we are in Denver!
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay will return. Helpful front desk. Nice room and decor. Appreciated the $10 gift at the bar and nice breakfast in the lobby.
- 5/5
Please know what your getting into this an “Historic” hotel so everything is a bit old school but it’s cool
- 4/5
I really liked this hotel. It's in downtown Denver right by Union Station, there are plenty of dining options as well as shopping. The staff at the Oxford is also very friendly and accomodating and will even bring a mini fridge to your room upon request. I would definitly stay at The Oxford again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, the Doormen were so helpful and friendly! Urban Farmer and Cruise Bar were the best.
- 3/5
It was an old hotel that has not been updated.
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel with old world charm. Wonderful staff.
- 5/5
Lovely historic hotel in LoDo. Great location with easy access to bars and restaurants.
- 4/5
Seating a flow at breakfast was a issue with a lot of guests for the space and limited seating
- 5/5
Loved the restored work and comforting atmosphere
- 3/5
Expensive room with limited facilities for the price charged, e.g. no room safe, no refrigerator, very dark room, no ice machines on floors (have to go to reception), extortionate $62 a day valet parking (I parked elsewhere) plus high resort fee (for nothing extra, as usual). Very poor value.
- 5/5
I originally booked The Oxford for it's proximity to Union Station since I would be using public transportation during my trip, but I couldn't have been happier with The Oxford! There was a tiny hiccup, but the front desk took care of things immediately! The history of the hotel, it's attention to detail, and the amazing "continental" breakfast was so very special! I'm looking forward to returning both for a romantic weekend away and for a family trip. You will not be disappointed!
- 3/5
We always like staying here and it's usually reasonably priced but they were gouging people this weekend due to a conference that was in town. Rooms were 3x more expensive than normal. Probably won't stay here again because of it.
- 5/5
Lovely historic hotel with spacious, quiet rooms, and comfortable beds. Stayed for one night on our way north. There are evening events such as alcohol tastings in the lobby area and a small free breakfast. We also received a small bottle of wine as part of our online booking which was a nice touch.
- 5/5
A very large room! Great bathroom with huge tub. The Cruise Room bar is a classic! Definitely will come back.
- 5/5
great location
- 3.5/5
It seem like the room was more expensive due to the paul Mcartney show
- 5/5
The hotel was BEAUTIFUL. The staff was very friendly. Very convenient to Union Station. The restaurant on the property, the Urban Farmer, was OUTSTANDING!!!!
- 4/5
I was surprised at how filthy the windows and window blinds were- they were literally caked with dust and dirt. There was also an empty can under our nightstand from a previous guest. Some more attention could be given to housekeeping.
- 5/5
Favorite part were the doorman who were always friendly and interactive.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
We loved staying at this historic hotel. I had such charm and grace to it. It was close to everything we needed and wanted to do. 5 minute walk to Union Station made it so easy to get to and from the airport. The free bourbon tasting was great and the complimentary transportation via Lyft within a 2 mile radius was an unexpected perk. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.
- 5/5
Convenient to everything downtown. Comfortable
- 5/5
Great historic location in the LoDo neighborhood.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel
- 5/5
Great atmosphere. Perfect spot for walking in downtown Denver. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
This is a classic hotel with great atmosphere and personalized service. This was our second stay. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and location No complaints
- 5/5
Amazing
- 4/5
The only real issue was that the air conditioning wasn't great. It kept going on and off constantly. To be fair, this is a historic hotel that didn't originally have A/C.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent from the moment we pulled up in front. All friendly and very helpful. Easy check in, the rooms were like stepping back in time (except with all the amenities). Breakfast was wonderful. Easy walk to Union station. The restaurant was excellent. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.
- 5/5
What a delightful hotel. Location perfect for exploring downtown Denver. Friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. Beautiful room with furniture and decor matching historical history—comfortable bed. A special treat for us.
- 4.5/5
Everything was great about this hotel in downtown Denver. It was quiet, clean, appointed well. Easy walk to restaurants. Shower worked well. Valet parking in front of hotel. This will add $65/night to your stay. Great coffee shop and gym right next door which are part of the hotel. Definitely would stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location and service
- 4/5
The overall aesthetic of the property was very nice. The property was clean and the staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
The Oxford has so much character! Definitely will stay again.
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 5/5
Kind staff, complimentary breakfast was kind of small but good none the less.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel that was very convenient to Union Station. Room was clean and quiet and beds were the most comfortable of our trip. Staff was very accommodating and brought a small refrigerator to our room to store food needed for our travels. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Great hotel with excellent friendly staff
- 5/5
Classic hotel. Leaving your key at the front desk
- 5/5
This is an older, but really classy property. It is attached to great food/drink options and in a fun, walkable part of the city
- 5/5
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Oxford, you can’t beat the location! This is a very well preserved historical building, the rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s a five minute walk to union station, making transportation to and from the airport extremely convenient.
- 5/5
Historic property with charm. Very convenient to Union Station and dining options. Nice complimentary breakfast in the morning and bourbon tasting in the evening.
- 5/5
Great location! Wonderful hospitality
- 5/5
Such a great hotel! Denver’s oldest hotel that maintains its charm and character but still offers modern day luxuries. Excellent continental breakfast and bourbon tastings daily. The Cruise Bar is a must go and has been a part of the Oxford since the 30’s. Stuart (maybe Stewart) is exceptionally friendly and filled with great recommendations and just overall great to talk to about the area’s history. Definitely my Denver Go-To
- 5/5
Staff made the trip.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel just next to union station and within easy walking of 16th street which is a pedestrianised shopping and eating area. Door staff were lovely, friendly and full of useful information
- 5/5
Good location for seeing the city or a ballgame. Great food and drinks!
- 2.5/5
It is a historic hotel but even so feels like it’s really lacking amenities. Seemed like the rooms could use a refurbish, just not a great value for the money. Also because it is historic, windows are thinner (I think???), which makes it incredibly loud from a street noise perspective.
- 5/5
This is a lovely property and we will definitely stay there again when we are in town. The complimentary bourbon tasting in the evening was an added bonus. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

1. Don’t ask for an extra $50 to “let us in the room two hours early”. If the room is ready, give us the room. We PAID for it already. 2. Don’t have a “9am on the dot” style clean up of breakfast. 9am cutoff is often too early for people on vacation. 3. If you are offering breakfast, don’t run out of items. Other than that, an excellent stay

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and very comfortable.
- 5/5
The Oxford is a beautiful, historic hotel just a very short walk from Union Station.
- 5/5
Location was perfect!
- 5/5
The staff and facilities were top notch! Loved staying here.
- 4/5
Great hotel, very close to Union Station
- 5/5
The front staff/doorman are always awesome and remember us every time we come!! They make us feel at home ...
- 5/5
Well located hotel
- 4/5
The hotel is lovely. We had a last minute scheduling issue and the hotel was not particularly flexible, which was disappointing, but the hotel is beautiful and the staff was really helpful once we arrived.
- 5/5
Everything about the property was amazing. The restaurant was so good and the spa was a really nice relaxing experience. Highly recommend if you’re staying in LoDo
- 5/5
Beautiful, old, well-kept hotel. The staff was excellent and the Continental breakfast was outstanding. Bars and restaurants attached were excellent as well.
- 5/5
Always a great day, your front door staff is awesome! Always welcoming and friendly.
- 4/5
The staff of the hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating. It was impossible to boost the temperature in the room even after the front desk was notified. There was an offer to move us to another room, but the chill could be endured on our short visit. We managed with the limited breakfast. The hotel is extremely convenient, but one could question the relatively high end price.

Gorgeous hotel. Beautiful decor. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast! Very nice staff.
- 5/5
The staff are engaging and helpful. Very pleasant stay. Also very comfortable.
- 5/5
Well located. Pleasant interiors. Complimentary breakfast in the morning is delicious. Excellent service - we left an article of clothing and the hotel returned it to us. Valet friendly. Highly recommend.
- 2.5/5
The beds in our rooms were so hard the floor might have had more give. The room air conditioning unit definitely could not keep up with the Colorado weather. For the money spent i would have expected better.
- 5/5
The rooms were spacious and well kept, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect with Union station a half block away and all the dining options it brings. While it is a little more than your normal chain hotel, it is worth it as you are definitely made to feel welcomed and appreciated. If I return to Denver, I will certainly be checking they have rooms available. Thank you to all the staff you made our stay wonderful.
- 4/5
The hotel is lovely, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful; the complimentary continental breakfast was good. My only complaint/disappointment is there was no daily housekeeping. During our 3-night stay, our bed was not made, bathroom was not cleaned, and wastebaskets were not emptied.
- 5/5
Bed was comfy, room was clean and we loved the historic vibe. Service was great.
- 4/5
Close to food and shopping. It was ok. Offered bottles of water and it was hot when we were there so much appreciated. The air conditioner was not the best. The room was very small. Valet parking was pricey but they were very nice and it was convenient. The ceiling molding could use a clean. Would try another place next time.
- 3/5
Old hotel that hasn’t been updated, poor WiFi, TV in room didn’t work, not at all worth the rate charged, the area around the hotel is wonderful- but I would advise staying elsewhere
- 5/5
The staff was fabulous, room was comfortable, walking distance to many Denver highlights!
- 2/5
enthusiastic to dour and mousy. This was an expensive stay at over $300 a night including all fees. Thad booked a particular room a few days before arrival because I knew I was coming in late. The person I spoke with was pleasant and accommodating, and helped me select a room that would meet my needs. I was told that they would lock the room so I could be assured of having it when I got in. When I arrived, the room had been given away and I was told that a manager must've overridden it and that " very important people" were staying here right now. Disappointing. I guess my $300 a night wasn't important enough for them to honor what they'd told me. Pros: - comfortable bed - historic hotel - workout facilities a couple doors away were nice Cons: - poor plumbing with shower that could not be adjusted, tiny sink almost unusable - Shabby carpeting and uncomfortable chair - continental breakfast very limited - you have to request every little thing - maid service, meal credit for the restaurant was provided once when it was supposed to be a per-day offering, welcome gift as part of hotels.com not provided until requested and then only occurred grudgingly.

Bed comfort was excellent
- 5/5
Fantastic complimentary breakfast and so close to Union Station.
- 5/5
Wonderful restored property less than a half a block away from union station. Such a convenient option if taking the train from Denver airport. Staff was so accommodating and friendly and the hotel itself is designed so neat and I love that they still had old fashion keys! The free bottle of wine upon arrival is a nice detail too and the free breakfast options were yummy. Would absolutely stay here again if traveling to downtown Denver!
- 4/5
Was charged $62/day for parking 😑
- 5/5
All of it! From the Valet to the restaurants and lounge, the staff is lovely, outgoing and engaging! NA
- 5/5
Very nice staff
- 5/5
The Oxford is a beautiful old hotel in downtown Denver, perfectly located in a great area with restaurants and beautiful old historical architecture. The hotel is stylish, has an incredible original art deco speakeasy, and a wonderful Gastropub restaurant on the ground level. Wonderful hotel, stylish and old school at the same time 10 out of 10.
- 4/5
Location is amazing for downtown Denver area. We took tram from airport which was super convenient since hotel across street from Union Station. Had a great meal at the restaurant - fairly expensive but food and service were great. Room was spacious and had nice bedding and towels.
- 4.5/5
A tad pricey
- 5/5
Very nice hotel!
- 3/5
Excellent location in a safe walkable area with many options for dining and shopping. Amenities at the hotel were lacking, request for housekeeping 24 hrs prior resulted in new towels, restock of coffee pods, mind you decaf because that is all that was available, sheets not changed & a cursor wipe down of bathroom. Coffee pods were not replenished daily, ice was a chore to get, no ice buckets, had to request from the front desk & the phone in the room did not work so all requests had to be made in person or by text! Spa was lovely but you had to leave the hotel and walk outside to access.
- 5/5
Extremely convenient for travelers! Great breakfast spread and lovely staff. Bourbon tasting in the evenings was also a pleasure.
- 5/5
Great property, close to Coors Field. Free bourbon tasting at night, tasty breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff, big rooms.
- 5/5
We loved the breakfast and the location. The bed was very comfortable.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. Cool doorman. Nightly bourbon tasting. Perfect location. Really fun bar and a seriously great breakfast. Exceeding our expectations!!
- 2/5
Very understaffed.
- 5/5
The beds were wonderful to sleep in, and the stuff was most helpful and answering our questions. They were very, very friendly.
- 5/5
it was a lovely stay and the staff was amazing
- 1/5
I left some items in the room (positively know I did) and the customer service was terrible. I had to call 5 times over 4 days just to find out “house keeping didn’t find anything”. The manager couldn’t care less about communicating with me or finding my items. Bummer of an experience.
- 5/5
Perfect location for a couple day stay in the city! So many things to do and eat
- 5/5
Xxx
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Great location. Will be back.
- 5/5
We liked the friendly staff! When we arrived early in the morning and needed our luggage held until check in time (4 PM), the desk clerk let us check in to an available room. The coffee and continental breakfast are good, as are the nightly bourbon tastings. We also like the Urban Farmer, accessible from the hotel lobby.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel
- 5/5
The Oxford is a historical property, built in the 1890’s. They have done a great job of preserving many of the original/historical features of the property
- 5/5
The Oxford never disappoints! Gorgeous historical property, phenomenal staff, walkable to everything. Absolutely love it.
- 5/5
This Hotel was so nice! Very convenient for all we were doing. Staff and facilities were great. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Just like the rest of the hotel, our room was beautifully decorated with historic artwork. The bed and furniture were all very comfortable and our room was quiet despite facing the street. Small, thoughtful touches were everywhere including water bottle fill stations on each floor and free postcards to send to loved ones. Another cool perk was the free nightly bourbon tasting in the lobby. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from both Union Station and Coors Field. We took light rail both to and from the airport and it was an absolute breeze! The area around the hotel is very walkable with several restaurants, bars, and art galleries.

Old hotel with a few throw pillows disguised as an “update”
- 5/5
I loved the historic feel to the hotel, yet it is very modern and clean. Great staff, very accommodating. I would highly recommend!
- 5/5
Lovely historic property; well situated.
- 5/5
Amazing staff!!
- 5/5
Beautiful property and room with an excellent location. We took the train from the airport to to Union Station and it was not even a 1 block walk to the hotel. Walkable to Coors Field, river walking trails and Larimer Square. Perfect weekend trip!
- 5/5
The Oxford is a beautiful, historic hotel. The location cannot be beat, the rooms were charming and clean. The staff was top notch! Thank you to Matt (front desk) and Toby (valet) for accommodating us. The hotel is a bit upscale for families with kids, but the vibe is very welcoming.
- 5/5
Great historical hotel. Rooms were nice and spacious clean. Great place to stay in Denver.
- 4/5
The two bellman at the front door where wonderful and made for a very nice stay. The hotel was very quiet and clean.
- 4/5
Hotel is an older hotel but a classic in LoDo. Still uses room keys (to give you an idea) but definitely a classic at a reasonable price with good service.
- 4/5
The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. After a sleepless night, the staff got me a mattress topper that really helped the send night. The air conditioning cycled on and off constantly, but they brought a fan so I could just turn it off. Staff was VERY apologetic and wonderful
- 5/5
Union station. The continental breakfast was sufficient, But we wound up eating breakfast at Snooze located in union station.
- 4/5
We loved the central location. It was close to everything needed. Things felt slightly outdated and worn, and could use a small refresh. Also, for the price, the breakfast included felt a bit underwhelming, and eating it in the lobby seemed a bit odd to us.
- 5/5
Comfortable beds and best Continental breakfast ever!

I will never stay anywhere else downtown. Location is perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities were amazing.
- 5/5
The staff at the Oxford Hotel in the historic downtown Denver are exceptional and can't be beat!
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful, the room had a wonderful view of downtown, the staff were friendly and quick to help. We visited the Cruise Room bar and had a hand crafted cocktail.
- 4/5
The staff was excellent and the location was very convenient.
- 5/5
Amazing stay right in the heart of downtown Denver. The staff are lovely, the rooms are charming and the complimentary bourbon tasting was a great way to start the evening!
- 4/5
Staff were great and daily amenities like breakfast and whiskey tasting were excellent.
- 5/5
From the moment you walk in the front door at The Oxford you know your stay is going to be special. The staff and their knowledge about the hotel and the area is top drawer!
- 4/5
Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and comfy bed!
- 5/5
I loved this stay it made my travels to my next city so easy-union station is close and there are so many great food options. I cannnot wait to stay here again. Also the water pressure in the room was fantastic- I felt so clean and ready to take on my day each morning or crawl into bed at night. The products provided were niche also. If they sold it I would buy it.
- 5/5
Fantastic historic hotel!
- 5/5
Perfect location and fantastic interior!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and the hotel was beautiful. The room was very comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
Amazing boutique hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and made the stay enjoyable. Breakfast was tasty and a terrific way to start the day…
- 5/5
Beautiful boutique hotel in LoDo. Rooms are all tastefully decorated with a fabulous restaurant. Exceptional service, located close Coor’s Field.
- 5/5
My go to hotel in Denver. Within walking distance of Ball Arena, Union Station, Empower Field and so many other great places! And their nightly bourbon tasting is so fun!
- 4/5
A beautiful old hotel and so convenient to Union Station. Very different to chain hotels. Friendly doorman. Our room was clean and neat. Our view was of another room’s window, so couldn’t have curtains open for natural light because we could see right into theirs and they could see right into ours. No mini fridge. Not many electrical outlets if you need to use an international power adapter because they won’t fit, especially near the beds. Limited breakfast, no hot food options. But very quiet and felt rested in the morning.
