Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with guests expressing both satisfaction and dissatisfaction. While some guests had a positive experience with the hotel's amenities, cleanliness, and staff, others faced issues with room quality, service, and hidden fees.
- Super breakfast and great wait staff
- Excellent stay with spacious clean room, excellent food, pleasant staff, great amenities, and close proximity to sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants
- Resort charge not clearly communicated
- Rooftop pool closed without prior notice

The hotel was in a central area on 16th street. Alot of activities to do.

Very good everything

Wonderful time! Everything and everyone were great!
- 2.5/5
We chose this hotel mainly because of the outdoor swimming pool which was enjoyable and one of the highlights of our stay. However we were disappointed with the breakfast arrangement. We booked a room for three adults but upon arrival we received breakfast voucher worth only $50 which covered breakfast for two adults. Since the breakfast buffet costs $29 per person we had to pay extra for ourselves and for the third guest. I do not understand why a room is offered for three adults if breakfast is only included for two. What was even more frustrating was the lack of communication. I contacted the hotel to clarify the situation but received no response. I also reached out to Booking.com and while they informed me they had contacted the hotel and would update me I never received any further information. Overall the hotel itself was fine and the pool was nice but the unclear breakfast policy and poor customer service left a negative impression on our stay.

Great location on 16th street. Overall great experience.
- 3/5
the a/c was noisy and barely worked. Kicking on every few min and not even cooling the already closet sized room we were shoved into. Way over priced.
- 5/5
enjoyed the stay clearn room nice staff
- 5/5
Amazing staff. Clean
- 5/5
Very clean hotel and great location. The staff were helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I loved that there were restaurant options and live entertainment in the bar area!
- 4/5
The room was very spacious and the facilities was clean. The location was convenient and check in was super quick! Room service was quick and convenient on our busy schedule as well. :) The bathroom door is like a barn door style, slide door. It had a large gap in it and so if you are on either side of the bathroom door you can see everything in the bathroom. I can sleep through just about anything but if you're a light sleeper you may need to get a higher level floor. One level two we could hear just about everything going on in the street. Again, not an issue for me as I slept through it all, but something to consider.

Restaurants The price and could not confirm early check in
- 4/5
Overall good place but what is with tge bathroom slide?!!! Please install a proper door with privacy! I mean the sliding door is kind of a jk. U can practically see from both sides and with kids in room… forget it. Y have to wait till they are asleep so u can go for a shower. Please rethink the bathroom door

The breakfast was top notch. Very professional wait staff and the food and selections were excellent!

The daily amenity fee, the extra charge for room serve delivery to take advantage of the amenity fee and the fact that the food delivered via room service comes in cardboard to-go boxes and with bamboo cutlery was what I did not like. The latter in particular was not a good experience in a noble hotel like Sheraton.

The TV was off before I went to bed, but it suddenly started playing sound at 4 a.m., which was very annoying.
- 3/5
All the staff were very good except for one person, who was impatient, frowned throughout the 2mins interaction, and behaved unprofessionally, which created a tense atmosphere. I then turned to another staff member, who was very kind and helped me resolve the issue. The TV was off before I went to bed, but it suddenly started playing sound at 4 a.m., which was very annoying.

Great quality, great staff, good food. Clean and comfortable. Airport transportation is expensive and Denver international is a lot of steps to navigate

This is a well set up hotel with all the amenities.. restaurant, bar, lounge, vehicle valet and parking garage. They even supplied humidifiers for the rooms to off set the dry Denver air! That was a huge bonus for me! The beds were very comfortable and that also is a big bonus! The staff was very welcoming and helpful in catering to your needs! The location was very convenient for doing anything downtown. Great place to stay! The place was very busy which made it very noisy in the main social areas.

The room was large, and the setup was comfortable. The staff was also friendly at the front desk. The provided humidifier in the room was very useful for Denver's climate.

The view The bathroom door isn’t an actual door and doesn’t close all the way in a room for 4 people. The “free breakfast” that was included with our room for 4 people was just voucher for 2 people.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Perfect location for any event in Denver downtown area. Right on the main free bus route.
- 4/5
Clean, updated property with some great amenities like the rooftop pool. Service and friendiness of staff was hit or miss, the best being the servers at the bar/restaurant. In the negative column is the "destination fee" (don't know what that means and not all Marriott properties charge that) and the difficult parking situation - way too expensive at the property and difficult dealing with the neighborhood lots. Also, no microwaves in the rooms. Even a Motel 6 has microwaves.
- 5/5
Great staff. Amazing room. Very walkable.
- 1/5
Hotel front is not welcoming, very rude. Breakfast is extremely slow. My waitress didn’t say a single word during entire dining, didn’t bother asking coffee refill, very rude!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, huge comfy rooms, and in a great location for shopping and restaurants! Would definitely stay here again!!
- 5/5
breakfast at 16 commons was great, for our business breakfasts-barely any choices for non-dairy eater. Lunch was better for my diet restrictions. drinks in coolers were never cold. Towels are terrible, they are like sandpaper and don't absorb well. I did not need service daily and thought it said every other day, hung towels up and were replaced daily. meetings spaces were actually comfortable, usually they are freezing but no issues.
- 5/5
Love staying here. Staff is friendly and the lobby downstairs is awesome :)
- 1/5
Well first off vallet completely rude , then the room wasnt even clean opened up a drawer and there were under clothes . Had to call service to come get them and he was rude as hell as well sorry we spent almost 400 to come enjoy the hotel and have a night out. This hotel is the only one we ever stay at when we come to denver , we have always had the beat experience he but this time was the worst ever. I get there was an event going on but you dont need to treat people that way. I know this wont get anywhere but i needed you guys to know . Thanks for treatment us like we were trash.
- 4/5
For the most part, it was quiet. The hotel was clean.

- 3/5
There was a conference at the hotel and we were given a very poor room and treated as second class guests.
- 5/5
The room was nice.
- 5/5
Beautiful and comfortable hotel

not necessary
- 2/5
I hate to say the front desk staff is terribly untrained. I had to fight for the breakfast add on I purchased. I paid here on the application, in advance, for the total stay of two nights, and made sure to save my two checkout invoices that showed a zero balance on departure. Two days later they billed my Amex for an additional night when I was long gone. I contacted corporate and now I am waiting, and additionally made a dispute with AMEX for $310. Watch your charges !!!!
- 4/5
AC was not working well in our room but maintenance came right away to fix it once we brought it to staff attention.
- 2/5
Crowded with convention
- 5/5
The property is located in an easy area for walking around and it’s very large. The king suite is very spacious. Comfortable bed and well appointed amenities
- 4/5
It was a great location for my business trip. The property is clean, and the bed is comfortable for me.
- 5/5
Super nice facilities for a great price. They have good food and cocktails, perfect location for shopping and restaurants, and the pool was super! Will definitely stay again.
- 2/5
It is downtown with great walkability to shopping, movies, restaurants, bars and entertainment. Scooters everywhere for quick transportation. A few homeless in the area but also well lit and patrolled by police. Felt safe and had a cool vibe. Hotel online check in was not great, ended up just checking in at the hotel desk. Not friendly. Maid service was knocking on the door at 8:10 am on check out day. Dang!! Thought I was on vacation! Not cool!
- 5/5
Food options for the conference were excellent and relatively healthy. Internet access was not great - slow, and had to keep checking back in. The room and the bed were very comfortable. Great location in the heart of downtown Denver.
- 5/5
I actually enjoyed my stay. Staff was pleasant and very helpful.
- 5/5
Excellent stay, clean rooms, rooftop pool, game room, and importantly great staff. Thank you!
- 5/5

- 4/5
The outdoor pool with DJ and bar!
- 2/5
They added $27+tax of destination charge per night. It was a hidden fee added on top of the reservation price I had already paid through Expedia, which makes the total amount of payment way more expensive. It was not clearly stated during the reservation process, and the hotel staff was very rude about explaining the unexpected hidden fee.
- 2/5
I was charged more than quoted on Expedia.. one of the rooms had electrical issues as in it going out multiple times and the tv was messed up too. they tried to blame on us for plugging things in. We had to switch that room and plugged more things in and had no problems. We asked for a refund for that night but only got half. For the price the rooms were very basic and the doors to the bathrooms were hard to move. The pool was smaller than i thought. The fees are ridiculous. I paid 65 dollars for parking for each day i was there and they valet parked my car 2 separate times... thats it... extra authorization on my card after my check in.... could have spend 500 less and had a similar experience at another location. Staff was nice. Best part by far was the ability to simply walk out onto the 16th street mall.... location to restaurants and shopping was fantastic... just disappointed in what i paid vs actual experience.
- 5/5
Convenience is everything and this property has all the Convenience to everything.
- 3/5
We arrived around 7 pm and ur room wasn’t ready for us.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
The location was good, the bed comfortable, shower worked. The laundry required putting $10 in an app that didn’t work, after being told a credit card would work and it didn’t. Although I paid an extra $27 + tax PER DAY for a destination fee, it only provided extra WiFi and $20 off on food and beverage WHEN BOUGHT AT HOTEL ( and a tiny dessert for two if I got back to the hotel before 6.) Credit for food & bev not cumulative, and not provided when we didn’t remember to buy breakfast at the snack bar, although still charged the full $27. Not a good deal. Since they didn’t have room for our van at a cost of $64 a day, we found a cheaper lot 2 blocks away via SpotHero, through no help from valets. There was no room service menu in the room. The breakfast buffet cost $28 plus tax and tip. $250/night was a lot for us. Our room was the longest possible walk from the elevator. No tub. Could request a microwave delivered, since not in the room. A lot of construction on 16th mall.
- 3/5
Room clean but had a corner room main part A/C worked but bedroom was a furnace
- 3/5
Probably wouldn’t go back to this location, the staff were rude. The only nice people were the valet drivers. Very clean and very comfortable and 10/10 state of the art gym.
- 1/5
Didn’t get to stay, had a break in. Just know that when I didn’t make it They charged me in full for all 3 days. Even if I showed up the second day I would have not been able to stay and still be charged in full.
- 5/5
Great location!
- 4/5
It's a little confusing having two towers on different sides of the street. It made finding the meeting areas challenging.
- 4/5
Good location. Rooms are small though
- 3/5
Was very disorganized. Called the guest service several times for replenishment of tea and water and every request took at least two times. My medical conditions require that I intake plenty of fluids at all times especially water and that was very difficult to get. It was not a request just for the ordinary reason, but it was a necessity and put my health at risk.
- 5/5
Great hotel with Awesome food and drinks. Hotel is very nice. Great shopping and restaurants around. Had a Great time.
- 3/5
The lobby was so loud and there wasn’t very many guests checking in. Everything echoed so bad I had to lean in close just to hear my person checking me in and we were already 2 feet apart. Parking and navigation is awful. The hotel parking signs you can’t see so I had to park in a paid parking lot 2 blocks away. Nice hotel but I won’t stay here again.
- 4/5
The front entrance was hard to locate. When i called the hotel to get specific directions, the hotel rep acted annoyed that she had to explain where we needed to go for check in. We weren’t the only ones who had a hard time, there was a group of kids arriving in a bus who couldn’t find the entrance either. So annoying.
- 5/5
Great conference hotel! Rooms are exceptional, well taken care of. Staff is great! Many food options, too.
- 1/5
The customer service has turned out to be horrible. There was a mix up in the dates for the reservation. It was off by one day and needed to be modified. I did not cancel my stay a modification was made for the dates. So I am being charged $369.24 cancellation for the stay even though I didn’t cancel. I was advised the modification could be made when I called and would not be charged a cancelation fee. I am at a complete loss, there is zero understanding, empathy for the situation.
- 5/5
I was there for a conference and now will always be staying at this hotel when i am in town.
- 5/5
It was very clean, it had a lot of areas for seating in the lobby, which was great as we were there for a dance competition. There were also a lot of great options for food in the hotel and nearby.
- 4/5
Nice hotel, lots of amenities on lobby and surrounding area. Beds a little former than I like. Rooms clean and easy to get around hotel and conference area.
- 4/5
Big hotel with lots going on. Food was excellent and staff on top of things.
- 5/5
Decent
- 5/5
It was beautiful and more than we expected!
- 3/5
This is the second new years I stay at the Sheraton and will likely be my last. We checked in and the room key stated we would be in room 794. After over 30min of trying to find a non exist room, we learn it should have been 724. The bed was hard and the sheets/towels were rough so if you value that, this is not a good hotel to sleep in. We check out and our bill is charging us $64 for valet parking. I asked the person checking us out why it was $64 as Expedia notes $59. She said it changed like 2 months ago and the website is not updated. Its only a $5 difference, but its about the principal of what you advertise and there was no intention in making it right. Afterwards, I review my bill and its further charging us $54 dollars at the 19th Commons Bar. I had to go back as it also was not accurate based on the bill I signed. The last person that helped me was at least helpful and removed the charge after looking further into it. Look at your bill closely after check out!
- 5/5
New Years Eve! Amazing stay. Some road construction at the entrance which makes check-in process challenging but staff was very welcoming. I would stay here again definitely!
- 5/5
Great hotel. Convenient and close location.
- 5/5
It was nice to come back to a clean and quiet room, great night sleep! Would recommend and go back next time we are in Denver, Thanks!
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
We have a great time beautiful hotel , excellent service and walkable distance to restaurants and shops
- 5/5
Everything was amazing and all the staff was so helpful
- 5/5
Great place to stay, not much more to say. Can’t go wrong with this place
- 4/5
Overall the stay was fine, the two buildings wasn't as great dealing with up one elevator, across a skyway, and up another was annoying to get out, and to pay $55/day for breakfast? Not that great along with the $25/day 'resort fee' that every hotel seems to use nowadays. Otherwise, the employees were great. Very friendly, the construction sucked around town, but otherwise close to everything needed.
- 5/5
Property is fabulous, just been numerous years of road construction.
- 5/5
Loved our room, lots of space, clean, quiet.
- 5/5
Great service, attention and comsideration. Perfecrtlocation to see mountains and hike.
- 5/5
It was freezing in the hotel is the only complaint.
- 4/5
Nice place. Spread out over two buildings. Lots of construction. Nice pool.
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel
- 4/5
For $500 a night, it could at least offer free coffee. The Yard House restaurant attached had amazing food!
- 5/5
I really enjoyed the quick, easy check-in. The front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. Everything was amazing, and the bartenders, especially Vin at the lobby bar and Paola at the pool bar were amazing, a great representatoon of the staff at this Sheraton. One of the managers, James, came by to make sure everything was to my liking, and I assured him it was. This was a special occasion for my 60th birthday, and i couldnt be happier with how it all turned out. Thank you to everyone at the Sheraton Denver Downtown for helping this be the perfect weekend.
- 5/5
The staff was incredible. The construction around the hotel was noisy and disruptive.
- 4/5
Room type that was reserved was not available at checkin. Received an "upgrade" with two smaller beds versus the King reserved
- 5/5
I liked that the hotel was close to many good places to eat. It was also very close to the venue we were going to for a concert.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel! The pool is clean and quiet. Rooms are great
- 2/5
I booked this property because it stated a roof top pool, luxury, but the pool is located on the 5th floor in between buildings with no sun. There is a bar at the pool but there was no staff to assist. The king bed rooms are extremely small. Our refrigerator smelled horrible and didn’t keep our drinks cold. The a/c does not work well and the room was kept pretty warm. There are 2 buildings that you have to travel back and forth to get to the pool or the bar or your room and parking. Overall we were not satisfied and will not be returning to stay any time in the future.
- 4/5
Great experience for the price
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Beautiful views all around of the tall downtown buildings, staff were super helpful despite confusing parking situation with the construction areas, and superb rooftop outdoor pool.
- 5/5
Great staycation for a concert in town. The property was nice and upgraded. Only bummer was, the in room phone didn't work so all questuons had to be asked in the lobby. And we couldn't get pillows for our sofa bed after 2 calls from our cell. But we enjoyed the F&B credit, great location and it was a great lobby area with lots of action happening. We've stayed at The Crawford, The Brown, The Oxford and we were surprised that The Sheraton was so modern and kind of cool. We'll make sure to stay here again because you cant beat the price.
- 4/5
16 Street was torn up. Not your fault. It made accessing the hotel inconvenient.
- 5/5
Excellent stay! Friendly staff, clean room, great pool!
- 5/5
Awesome hotel. Will most definitely be staying in the future!
- 5/5
Great stay! Loved the pool day - was very fun - bring chairs just in case if you can.
- 2/5
This stay was just as bad. There won’t be a third.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 2/5
We were placed in another tower at the reception far from the hobby. Air conditioning didn't work properly for our taste. Small room. The front desk staff were not friendly but polite, they are not oriented to solve problems. We needed an hour more to pass the checkout and they couldn't extend it. The manager didn't take us.
- 4/5
Super breakfast, great wait staff. Felt ambushed by the "resort" charge. Nice guitar player at the bar from 5-7.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
I have purposely selected this hotel since I stayed there for the first time. Service is amazing and has everything you need all together.
- 5/5
Excellent stay. Spacious clean room. Excellent food. Pleasant staff. Great amenities. Close to lots of sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. Would definitely love to stay here again.
- 3/5
I stayed two days but no room cleaning the whole time there
- 5/5
Fun
- 5/5
Such a nice property. Love the bar, reataurant and perks. Sucks you have to pay to park.
- 5/5
Super clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast, the waiter Juan was very friendly and attentive.
- 4/5
Nice stay
- 3/5
Hard to get into property
- 5/5
Good location and comfortable stay.
- 5/5
My husband and I had a wonderful night's stay. Will totally stay here again when visiting Denver.
- 3/5
Terrible valet service waited over 45 minutes each time
- 3/5
Everything was great until my purse was stolen and so were all of my things i had just gotten from target because the front desk lady wouldn’t allow me to go back up to my room when I had to get new keys from them dying next to my phone, then they don’t have any cameras and no one helped me. it truly almost felt like it was set up.
- 5/5
Cocktails were delicious and a nice variety.
- 3/5
The only great service was on arrival, Jay was super friendly and helpful. The lackluster service at common area and valet ruined it. Too pricey for mediocre service and accommodations.
- 5/5
Fast and easy check in. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended.
- 4/5
No hot tub, only an outdoor heated pool. No view of New Year's fireworks display even though the firework are launched from the hotel roof.
- 5/5
The amenities provided on the property make an excellent experience. The rooms were clean and neatly arranged, the valet parking was extremely fast.
- 1/5
There was a banging all night long
- 5/5
Booked a “1 bedroom executive suite (corner)” for a great rate. Beautiful suite with whole window panes along both exterior sides of suite. The bathroom was bigger than a residential “guest” bedroom. Will definitely be staying again.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Last minute book. Treated like royalty. Alyssa at front desk was amazing

Excellent Service
