Reviews
The hotel staff is generally friendly and attentive, with some exceptions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but some guests have reported issues with amenities such as heaters, TVs, and parking. The hotel's location is convenient for some, but others find the surrounding area to be unsafe or unappealing.

There is only one "area of opportunity" that I can distinctly remember. When we first arrived, the front desk staff informed us that our room was ready however we were still early (2PM). If we wanted to check in, we had to pay $25. We did not feel like paying the additional charge at the time. We opted to find something to eat until we were told to return to the hotel at 3:15 or 3:30pm. I completely understand the early check in charge if the hotel was at capacity the night before however our room was already ready. The delivery of the message could've been done differently but not a big enough deal to leave a bad review. I would still recommend the hotel and stay for any future trips to the Denver area.

We were very happy with our stay, kids loved swimming and the snack bar. The small game room was nice, but since we had other plans for our stay we didn’t use the game room. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
I got there at 1PM they said there was a room available but they charged me $25 extra because the check in is at 4PM. If there was a room ready why they need to charge me extra for it?! There was no extra work neither inconvenience. And let’s be honest, who does a check in at 4PM?! Why am I paying for less than 24h staying in a hotel room? Plus, the parking lot cost $21. Rather than the extra costs, the room was comfortable and clean.

Stay was a pleasant surprise. Quiet. very comfy, decent view of the mountains from the room, friendly and helpful staff. Will keep this in mind when visitng Denver.

Very nice hotel and staff are very helpful. Housekeeping team are on point. Security on premises makes me feel safe.

Staff were always very helpful and kind to bring snacks to room during the mornings and make our stay very enjoyable. Rooms were really clean as well housekeeping really pays attention to detail.
- 5/5
This is a place you want to stay in Denver that's all I need to say.
- 5/5
The room was incredibly quiet, and we enjoyed the room service and the game room!

Room & elevators smelled awful. Curtains stained.

Very good place would return
- 5/5
I was extremely pleased with the friendliness of the staff. Each one I came in contact with were very helpful, friendly and courteous. The game room was fun to explore. The product in the on-site store were a bit pricey so definitely grab your snacks at the 7-Eleven just down the road. Bed was super comfy and I didn't want to get out of it. Bummed I didn't have a bath to soak in, but the shower was amazing! The toiletries by Kevin.Murphy smells so good and the lotion actually absorbs into your skin so you aren't left feeling oily. We had 4 drinks and the spinach artichoke dip at the lounge. Had to ask for more bread because 6 tiny pieces were not enough for the amount of dip you get. It was expensive, costing $100 (includes tip), but the vibe and the server were phenomenal. We chose to go off-site for drinks and grub after that first night. It is right next door to an old hotel that is now used, well, looks like used by not so great people. Other than that, the location is good. All in all, I would totally recommend staying here and if ever in Denver again, I would stay here.

The shuttle to central station was perfect for airport transfers
- 1/5
We wasted time, money, and effort going back and forth for 4hrs, only to be told repeatedly that the room type we booked was unavailable. We did talk to supervisor and the only thing she said it is we understand we can not do anything right now. It’s extremely frustrating to reserve a mountain view room in advance and still not receive it. This experience was disappointing and felt very unprofessional
- 5/5
Beautiful space & great amenities (my son loved the pool). Would stay again!
- 3/5
When you walk into the hotel, it looks like a five star resort. Very bar area, snack section, indoor and out door pool, a nice gym and a game room for all ages. The rooms are nice with a few exceptions. We had two rooms and both rooms came with two queen beds. Everyone in our group stated the same thing, the beds were hard and very uncomfortable. There was a chair and table so the others had to sit on their bed. There was a narrow balcony but it didn't have any chairs to enjoy the cool mornings and evenings. When we first arrived in our room, the air wasn't even turned on or the mini fridge. Now for the outside of the hotel and surrounding area. This hotel is not situated in a good area. Homeless people everywhere and camping out on the side and behind the hotel (not to mention seeing shooting up). I would not feel safe letting my kids walk around anywhere outside. The good news is there is a Walmart and several fast food restaurants near by.

Not much Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Toilet didn’t work. Rooms were outdated. They didn’t have our extra day added to our stay. Nowhere did it mention a $200 deposit. Definitely won’t be coming back.
- 3/5
Only annoying things were loud traffic noise and half closed curtains!
- 5/5
Loved the hotel so much. Only thing was they charge $21 per night to park your car and it didn’t say that anywhere in the reservation. So that was a surprise. But the hotel was amazing and within 15 minutes from downtown
- 3/5
The room was nice and spacious. The entire lobby space was beautifully built and had lots of interesting things. The tone of voice when asked if the breakfast was included in our room and when we said it was not the waiter/bartender said in a condescending tone "well we'll obviously serve you still" he much rather could have said other things other than that the hotel was good. Also the shower door in room 406 leaks terribly and will get the floor soaking wet during your shower.

The food was good, but if you eat an hour close to close the staff seemed to rush you out. Update furniture in rooms, everything in the room was damaged including the bathroom door and entrance door. Bathroom door never closed. Our first room had a large living area and kitchen and a pull out bed with a paper thin mattress. They moved us to a different room with a mattress but it was just the room, suite was gone. It was either or. nothing we booked online matched the photos.

My stay at the Renaissance Denver Hotel & Conference Center was excellent. I want to highlight that there is a new, efficient process for parking. Guests now use their room key ID to gain entry and exit from the parking garage, which simplifies the experience. Kaylee provided outstanding service, acting in a very professional manner while clearly explaining the logistics of this new system for overnight parking stays." "Nothing to note; the new parking procedures were well-explained and easy to navigate."

The fitness center has a lot of equipment and all machines are well maintained. There was a bit of a mixup with my reservation, but the staff was very accommodating and helped to make it right. The bar makes a fantastic French 75 cocktail!
- 5/5
The pool was cold but was a nice space, we didn't end up using the game room but it was fun that it was there. The parking would be nice if it was included and not a separate fee. The staff was super helpful. And it was a beautiful hotel.

We loved the vibe of the hotel, which was noticed the moment we pulled onto the property. The staff were great, super clean facility, and cute room. Although the room was on the small side, it was everything that we needed. The only parking offered is in their parking garage. We have a Dodge Ram 2500 and we barely fit. We travel alot for our business which requires us to travel with a 12ft trailer. We would not be able to park on property and street parking is not an option. Thankfully this trip we did not have our trailer for the restricted parking is not noted anywhere in the property description. Also, there were alot of homeless people hanging around, but the hotel does have a good security team.
- 5/5
Everything was great. I don’t remember the guy name that checked us in, but he was very professional, very knowledgeable, and made us feel welcomed soon as we entered. The only thing I didn’t care for would be the homeless people hanging around. I do appreciate the security though!
- 5/5
Best hotel I've stayed at in my life.
- 2/5
The hotel has 12 floors yet only 1 microwave , and that too dirty. The hotel does not provide any assistance with lunch/dinner plates, paper or otherwise. The room was dingy and exhaust was almost non functioning. Having a balcony was an upside though. The parking garage charges huge fees but does not even have clean markings.

Very nice and clean with great staff! Being Denver unfortunately a lot of homeless near by not the hotels fault more the governors!

Here it is in a nut shell. The most expensive hotel on our road trip but our friends were staying so we decided to stay...bad choice. When we got there the 3 counter people would not even acknowledge us. Once the blond finally acknowledged us she rolled her eyes and said, checking in? Took our card and said parking and incidentals will be chaged to this. Gave us a piece of paper and said any other things that you need to know about your stay will be explained on this. Had to ask how to get to the room, and parking, with a bare minimum answer. The Room: Carpet was torn and tattered. Large burn hole in the sheer curtains to the patio. Patio door would not fully close. The room temp (on an nice day), was 78. Tried to bring down the temp with no success. They sent maintenance. Though the night the temp came down to 74°. Toilet did not flush. Took 2x each time. Shower water pressure was very low Shower drain did not work and you had to take a bath/shower in your own muck. When checking out I was asked how my stay was. I let them know that they hotel was the worst I ever stayed in and explained why. She said sorry we will take off your parking charge for your stay. Mind you that the parking garage enter/exit was broken and not charging anyone anyway. Pathetic!

- 5/5
The staff was awesome. We had a scenic view of the beautiful Denver Skyline from the room. It was breathtaking and intimate. We could stand on the balcony and take in the crisp air and cuddle. Housekeeping would come and take care of the room in the afternoon. They didn’t disturb us early mornings. The restaurant food was delicious. We tried the lamb burger garlic potatoes and hot wings. My hubby also served me breakfast in bed. The location of the hotel was close to the site on our itinerary. I definitely give this hotel a 10/10.
- 4/5
It is a nice hotel next to a lower income neighborhood with some homeless people around, but the hotel does a good job of keeping the homeless population off the premises. The restaurant staff were very good.

This is definitely not a 4-star hotel. It is in a terrible neighborhood. The furniture looks like it was bought at a yard sale. I took a shower and the whole bathroom flooded because the shower door was not installed correctly. First it had a very strong bleach smell and then as the night went on, it had a strong stench of weed. But the worst part is the tv. Not very many channels and during the basketball playoffs, not one of the games was being shown, not in the room and not in the lobby, restuarant or bar area.
- 5/5
Amazing view and room
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was very nice and helpful. We checked in early and had to pay $25 upgrade fee, to park in the parking garage it was $21 a night but they waived that due to the gate not working. And they do not have microwaves in the rooms. It was a nice stay.

Pool and hot tub were clean and the hot tub was hot. Room Service was fast and yummy. Enjoyed having a balcony. The in-hotel arcade was fun for my kids. Lounge staff were helpful and their food was also good. The main restaurant is currently closed and we were frustrated by the breakfast options. Be prepared to pay for breakfast. Paying for parking seemed excessive based on the location.

Whenever I go to Denver, this is where I stay. I love the balcony. I love that there is really delicious food just downstairs. The staff has always been overly nice to me. The parking garage is super convenient. The area has lots to offer. I also really like how quiet this hotel is.
- 2/5
When we got there we were told we needed to pay for parking which it’s ridiculous but we had no choice but to pay $21.00 dollars daily. I would say they need to provide parking at no cost
- 4/5
Very expensive drinks and nothing close by to walk.
- 4/5
We tried the restaurant that they have in the lobby and enjoyed the burger and chicken, potatoes and green beans plate. The food was great but the price was unfairly high. The chicken was small and included a bone. The mashed potatoes smeared across the plate and green beans laid on top. Presentation was appetizing but I left there feeling hungry still because there wasn’t much food brought out to begin with. I was extremely disappointed. If we decide to stay here again, we will avoid the restaurant at all costs. Oh and the kitchen is on another floor. Food took over 30 mins to come out and any condiments took over 5 mins. It was ridiculous. We ended up finding a super delicious breakfast spot near by called the Denver Biscuit Co. literally top notch place! We will make it a point to go there again! Go check them out.
- 4/5
Have to pay for parking.
- 3.5/5
An extra charge for breakfast, which is not worth the price. The organization is poor—you enter the restaurant and an inattentive waiter hands you a menu with prices, which creates confusion about whether breakfast is included or if you have to pay extra again. The photos show a beautiful buffet, which doesn’t reflect reality at all. The service was poorly organized. We waited 25 minutes for breakfast, and the waiter completely forgot about the rest of the order—waiting that long just for a black coffee while the juice included in the order was forgotten.

I travelled alone for business, stayed 5 nights, loved everything about the hotel. Not too far from the train station, which takes about 40-50 min to downtown Denver. I would have given a five-star for staff because nearly every staff I talked to were incredibly nice except the one blonde lady who I thought (I’m sure) was subtly rude and probably incompetent- I know them when I see one. The manager, Jonathan is a 10/10 manager and excellent in his role as a manager. The housekeeping staff are good. The only issue was the chaos at the breakfast in the atrium, always seem like the guys at the breakfast are short staffed and running from pillar to post, it could be better. I heard that will be resolved this April. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s got games room.

The rooms were nice, but the sheets had stains on them and when we called the Front Desk to get new ones it took them a day to change them. The pool and hot tub were dirty, I was not aware the hotel did not have free continental breakfast as well. The balacony in the room was nice.

Convenient location close to airport There were bed bugs in my room that I found on my last day of stay: I have signaled it to the reception while leaving, and they gave me a stereotyped answer promising a follow-up by mail, which never came. It has been a week I have been scratching myself due to these bugs. Go somewhere else.
- 3/5
There were some leftovers in the fridge when we checked in (not a good smell, either). Breakfast/dinner that we got a few times was okay, nothing too special, definitely not worth the money we paid. Other facilities were decent. The outside area was sketchy as heck...not safe to walk at all.
- 3/5
Hotel was pretty nice. Direct area surrounding was very rundown. Hotel felt very out of place. Parking cost add on was too much but necessary for the area. Do not park on the street in the surrounding area.
- 2.5/5
Our stay was going pretty well, We were gonna wake up at about 10am to get on the road and about 7:40 we start hearing this crazy loud noise that woke us up Coming from the ventilation or the room next to us we couldn't tell and we could not go back to sleep so we get our stuff together go down to check out,I let the staff know and showed him a video that we recorded of it and the guy did not give a shit really just kind of like "that sucks have a good day" we weren't looking for anything free but I had proof and they didn't even try to make up for it in any kind of way.
- 5/5
The hotel is big and quiet with low lighting. It’s perfect to relax. The arcade was such a plus! The balcony’s were awesome! We were in the third floor which wasn’t as high as other floors but the view was still amazing and we loved standing on the balcony. The closet did not have an extra set of sheets and pillow for the pullout couch. But we were able to have those brought up to our room.
- 5/5
Other than the concave mattress, I was impressed with the property.
- 4/5
I did t like the parking. Having to pay $21 each night when there is no other parking spots available. I liked the little fridge but no microwave in the room.
- 5/5
The cleanliness The front desk when we check in barely understood her ..
- 5/5
Enjoyed the time. Food is way overpriced, breakfast was 70+ dollars for two people and we didn't have anything extravagant.

Wasn’t great
- 3/5
Room was clean. Staff was good, room service was great. My biggest complaint is that the pool was freezing! The spa was not at all hot or warm, still cold and dirty. Smelled disgusting. The whole pool area was cold even exiting the pool by the gym was cold! Got the hotel for the kids to swim but I wouldn’t get for this reason again.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 3/5
Everything was excellent except for the actual room. The window/glass wall was SO cold/drafty and tons of road noise. To get a room on the other side of the hotel was “city view” and more expensive. Shuttle to the Central Park train station was great. With the proximity to the station and the shuttle you don’t really need a car. Parking was pricey and was charged with every in/out. Staff was wonderful. Room/hotel was clean but dated. The arcade was great. My only complaint is with the room.

Very kind and helpful staff! Great water pressure and nicely decorated modern hotel in a great central location.
- 3/5
Beds comfortable, nice breakfast, overall a peaceful environment. It’s dated with nice refit, but the shower is a bit ewww. The location is not in a very pleasant part of town not far from a refinery. The parking is an additional 21$ per day when the rooms are priced at a premium. The pool is closed
- 5/5
Everything was great. Spotless room amazing service. Would recommend it
- 5/5
Security was kind, staff were helpful and housekeeping did an amazing job
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel
- 5/5
The property was gorgeous and the amenities were highly enjoyable. Nothing!
- 4/5
The staff was attentive and kind. I wish I had a microwave in my room, but it was a nice room with a balcony!
- 5/5
Rooms were great, hotel was great staff was very friendly
- 5/5
Clean, quiet we lover the balcony
- 5/5
Paying for overnight parking
- 3/5

- 5/5
My partner insisted I mention the lobby music, it’s soooo loud. I understand the logistics of the hotel, how the inside is high ceiling, sound carries yes yes yes, but we were on the 7th floor and could hear word for word the music starting at 6/7am haha. When we left through the lobby we could barely hear each other talk it was THAT loud. Perfect stay otherwise.
- 2.5/5
The lobby amd game room were super cool! Parking garage is bad for bigger trucks and cars, room wasn’t nearly as nice as it was made to seem, the balcony glass doors were so dirty you couldn’t see out of them.
- 4/5
Room and hot tub was nice
- 5/5
Balcony Parking
- 5/5
The elevator got stock
- 5/5
Another great stay here! Cleo helped us out tremendously as we weren’t able to get the room we requested. The staff is always helpful, available and it’s one of the coziest hotels around.
- 5/5
Always very nice and clean, with good pillows and beds. The breakfast isn’t great though.
- 5/5
The hotel staff, room, food, atmosphere were all perfect.
- 5/5
Stay was great good giid
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Hotel should not charge for parking if person have hotel reservations
- 4/5
Pricing was a bit steep especially for the area
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Need more staff for dinner almost waited 2 hours for our food. It had wonderful food and nice atmosphere but it literally just takes forever.
- 2.5/5
Clean Shuttle can driver outstanding! ( Stephen) Server in restaurant in evening very focused on customer service DARK Food quite expensive for quality and quality Location and what was available nearby totally did not match
- 5/5
Fun hotel stay. We really enjoyed our night. Friendly staff and it was a really beautiful property.
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
Always enjoy staying here. Renovations look amazing, rooms are still really nice. Great view.
- 4/5
Great
- 5/5
Great mountain view very nice room awesome staff
- 5/5
Everyone was really friendly
- 3/5
Delayed plumbing maintenance. The sink was clogging up and the toilet did not flash the paper
- 5/5
Be prepared there is a $20 parking fee. That wasn’t addressed on the hotels.com booking.
- 5/5
Young lady at check-in and lady server at breakfast were terrific!
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean me specious.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Place was awesome! Loved every mins

- 5/5
Hotel is very clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful.
- 3/5

- 3/5
Hot tub and pool area needs updated
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
10/10
- 5/5
Great service clean rooms
- 3/5
Charging 25$ for early check in is just stupid, also charge 19$ per day for parking the car that is not at all acceptable. It’s obvious that someone visiting your hotel would definitely need to park and charging 19$ a day for it is just crazy stupid. Not at all happy with the experience
- 4/5
Clean rooms and nice hotel lobby
- 5/5
Staff were Tremendous
- 4/5
Room was fantasic
- 5/5
The room was very nice and the hotel was exceptional. I especially liked that the parking was hassle free with dedicated security. The pool and hot tub was nice. Didn’t try the food but next time I will. Would book again.
- 2/5
Yes. The place is not very nice. Pool is gross and the hot tub is way too hot! Took 3 calls to get linens for our room. Bartender was slow and unaware of customers waiting.
- 4/5
The staff was very hospitable and the upkeep of the hotel was phenomenal. The only thing I wish I would have known ahead of time was that parking at the hotel was not free.
- 5/5
Weekend birthday getaway was perfect. Thank you to a lovely staff.
- 3/5
No microwave in the rooms..so cheap. Hotels 2 mins away have a mini kitchen situation next to the bathroom. This hotel is really old and since Covid it’s gone downhill. The rooms are old, carpet is dirty, the beds are warped, the shower is old, even the tv’s are old and have terrible audio quality. Housekeeping leaves by 10 PM so if you need any extra towels or if the sheets are dirty, you’re out of luck. If you book through a third-party, there’s no way you’re getting out of your reservation, even if your room has dirty sheets, blood splashed behind the toilet and carpet stains that you should worry about. Also, the pool was cold. Not like lukewarm, but the actual hot tub had cold water. So cold there’s no way you could get in it unless you were interested in slightly warm or cold plunge. The pool area is also outdated, quite dirty with the equivalent of dust bunnies gathered from a dirty mop, except that it’s hair instead of dust. Absolutely disgusting.
- 5/5
Great service! I forgot some belongings and they were sure I received them.
- 5/5
Beautiful rooms and excellent staff
- 5/5
Breakfast was too expensive
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Breakfast buffet was great
- 5/5
Our room was clean with a beautiful view of the mountains and city. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Easy check in & out. Secure parking structure. Plenty of restaurants & shopping near by. Room service was nice also.
- 3/5
The rooms are a bit dated. The areas isn’t just the nicest. We saw multiple homeless people standing around outside as well as at the building next door.
- 5/5
We have stayed here numerous times over the years, and we love that it is such a nice place. Staff was exceptional in all areas, and the room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great stay, friendly staff, good location for activities downtown
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was helpful and friendly.
- 2/5
Very old rooms and need a lot of renovation. Not worth the stay. Areas nearby are also average. Won’t really recommend
- 5/5
The room was nice and the staff were great
- 5/5
Immaculate hotel with such friendly staff and super cool vibe
- 4/5
Everything was great other than room service banging on our door at 8 AM in the morning we left. It threw everything off and confused the hell out of me for about 30 minutes. I thought I’d missed my flight. Otherwise I like this place definitely will stay there again.
- 5/5
The staff was very pleasant and courteous.
- 5/5
Great amazing staff. Great location across from shops and extremely close to other guilty pleasures as well. Will most definitely stay again
- 4/5
It’s in a questionable part of town but the staff was nice
- 5/5
The staff were all so helpful. We had been traveling all day and got to hotel at 330pm. They let us go up to our room right then
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Staff was nice. Hotel was clean. Our room was good but the balcony door was hard to open and handle was somewhat loose. They had a very nice game room we didn't get to enjoy and they also has a nice convenient store inside. Can't complain, we had a good stay
- 5/5
Room was clean, the AC worked great, bed was very comfortable.
- 4/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
great hotel but very cold and heat came late
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Everything was great. Staff for friendly, room was neat and always kept tidy by housekeeping. Amenities were great!
- 5/5
Very modern & beautiful! Highly recommend.
- 4/5
Clean room, very quiet
- 4/5
The room was clean and front desk was nice
- 5/5
Room was great! Nice and spacious, comfortable bed. Staff was nice and was about 15-20 minutes away from all the places I was visiting.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 5/5
The hotel is very clean and the room was great
- 4/5
Coffee maker need to be replace. Need more ventilation in the bathroom. Thank you
- 4/5
Everything was great
- 3/5
The shower leaked really bad. Hot water took a long time. You have to pay to park. Like $19 a day. The pool isn't heated during the week. Only one weekends. House keeping is thorough, however, they will move your things and accidently throw stuff away you wanted to keep if they think it's trash.
- 4/5
Something need a bit fix like the curtain. Mostly pretty good and very clean. The neighborhood is okay.
- 5/5
I don’t love the newish trend of having to pay an additional parking fee per night when you are already paying to stay there. I understand paying for parking at an event or something, but I think this should be included in the price of the hotel stay. Otherwise woulda been 5 stars.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the staff, were exceptional!
- 4/5
Nice and clean
- 2/5
I dont know if i missed the notice but i had no idea that was getting a full sized Murphy Bed. I wasnt happy with that and had to spend add'l money to get a King sized bed! Im totally unsatisfied !
- 5/5
Clean rooms, elegant property, great views and very helpful staff.
- 2/5
The hotel is nice inside but in a bad area. Many homeless people around the property. Our kids enjoyed the pool but both it and the hot tub were too cold for me to get in.
- 5/5
We never had a meal, but the sf
- 3/5
Pool wasn’t working
- 5/5
Let’s start here …EXCEPTIONAL STAYS ARE RENEWING !! Jonathan was the best customer service rep I have EVER encountered . From our initial phone calls days before my fiancé and I arrived , I knew I had a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact to rely on during our stay . Our arrival was seamless . Although there is no airport shuttle , you can simply catch the tram directly from downstairs at the airport and it takes you to Central Park where another warm and courteous shuttle driver from the hotel will pick you up and take you safely 3 minutes down the road to your stay . Jonathan recommended safe and delicious restaurants , must see attractions and even prominent areas for nightlife . The room was cozy , cleanly and the view was to die for . I am very happy I chose to make this hotel my safe haven for a few days
- 5/5
Great fitness center, and very clean hotel.
- 5/5
Great service and good rooms
- 5/5
Clean, staff is very friendly and helpful and we felt safe
- 5/5
We didn't get to the hotel in time to try out the pool/ hot tub, but they looked nice. The beds were comfortable and they gave us extra towels upon request. I loved the balcony view of the city. The sunrise was amazing!
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 5/5
We had a good stay!
- 1/5
We requested a lot of times for housekeeping to be done and sodnt get done until 3 days later, housekeeping stkle my cologne a d appered it 8 hours later in our room after we makde a big comosion . I would like a refund or at least half.
- 2/5
I arrived at the property at 6:00 pm and my room wasn’t ready, I had to be somewhere by 7:00 and received my room until 6:15 pm. Also I specifically booked this place for the indoor pool and decided to bring my child along for the pool and when asking we were told it was closed for maintenance, we were offer another pool from a hotel nearby but it was not indoor and the weather was not suitable. When I tried to go to bed and undid the bed, there was popcorn in between the sheets.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. All of them were very professional and accommodating. The hotel itself was beautiful and luxurious as advertised. We had a pleasant stay. The only complaint I could think of is that the motel behind it is extremely ghetto and unsafe to walk by but that isn’t even in The Renaissance’s control, it’s more of an unfortunate circumstance. That being said I absolutely would recommend staying at the Renaissance and would 100% return to stay for future vacations in Denver.
- 5/5
We had a great experience
- 5/5
Great hotel and felt safe at the hotel. Need your keycard to access the elevator to the rooms and amenities. The area the hotel is in is not the best, got warned by a couple of our uber drivers to not walk around. Although the hotel itself does have security and the staff are very helpful and welcoming.
- 5/5
Very quiet work spaces, amenities for children, professional staff and easy parking
- 5/5
Friendly staff, very clean!
- 4/5
Everything was beautiful I just did not like paying to park!
- 5/5
The hotel itself was great!!!! The outside surrounding block, not so much. Denver has a problem overall, as it was not just in this limited to this area either.
- 3/5
The hotel was good but it’s completely crappy to charge to park there. Huge thumbs down on that.
- 5/5
Great Hotel, recommend to anybody coming to Denver.
- 5/5
Loved the design
- 4/5
Starbucks in the building was closed all but one day. Pool was out of order, but no signs and no warning online.
- 5/5
Hotel was great and near a train station. Some areas around it were a little concerning.
- 2/5
I stayed at the Renaissance Denver Hotel & Conference Center and was really disappointed by the lack of upkeep. The towels in my room were torn and looked old, which is surprising for a hotel of this level. Even worse, there were spider webs in the room clearly showing that it hadn’t been properly cleaned. For the price and the brand name, I expected much better standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- 3/5
Queen beds were small
- 3/5
The hotel is nice, but only on property. Directly next door there are homeless people dumpster diving and used syringes and garbage on the ground.
- 5/5
The property was great, but the neighborhood a bit seedy!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms, overall great stay. Traveled with family (small children).
- 4/5
Two staff members were amazing but I just love the hotel
- 4/5
it was really nice other than having to pay for parking
- 4/5
Too much noise from the traffic
- 5/5
The property is gated and the property itself is wonderful. The area around the property hosts a large population of homeless.
- 4/5
When I booked this hotel I had higher expectations but when we arrived we were disappointed. Toilet wouldn’t flush even after maintenance was called up. Towels very thin and scratchy. Very flat pillows. The peppery area the hotel during the evening was very dark and felt unsafe walking into parking garage. During the day there was a homeless person sleeping on the sidewalk.
- 4/5
Cool design for the hotel! Expensive and didn't feel safe to go walk around the hotel. But the hotel it self felt higher class
- 4/5
On top of that, every single ice machine on every floor was broken, which was frustrating. For the price and the “Renaissance” name, I expected more. Bottom line: the property itself is well-kept and the staff do a good job, but the location and environment around it make this a place I will never stay again.
- 5/5
Amazing room and had an amazing experience.
- 3/5
We couldn’t get our room to cool down.
- 5/5
They were great, friendly staff, fantastic service. Definitely will go back.
- 5/5
Hotel and staff we excellent! Parking sucks and you have to pay for it
- 5/5
Great overall
- 1/5
One staff member at the front desk for check in in particular had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Sterotyped my boyfriend and I and was very judgmental
- 5/5
The staff was very professional and personable. Room smelled clean upon check in like bleach, I liked that it made me feel they do their best to sanitize. The drinks at the bar were delicious and I absolutely loved the Kevin Murphy products in the bathroom. I have worked in salons/ spas for years and am familiar with the product line and that was just the icing on the cake for staying with you guys! Thank you
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 5/5
The ceiling in my room looks like it has poop on it
- 2/5
When booked, I selected mountain view balcony, the room I received had no view of the mountains at all. The balcony had a gap between the frame and the wall, letting every sound from the outside, in, the interstate right outside the building is entirely too loud for that. The entry door to the room had a huge gap inbetween the floor and the door, letting anyone see in. Rooms don’t come with the typical microwave, had to go to lobby anytime we needed one.
- 4/5
Clean hotel. Staff friendly
- 5/5
It’s a close uber ride to most attractions and the staff are nice and very helpful!
- 4/5
The property was in a convenient location
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful
- 2/5
This hotel doesnt have water fountains. Also they charge you to check in early even if your room is ready. 50 extra bucks! And check in is at 4pm
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. It was fun having the pool and pool tables. I will definitely stay here on my next visit.
- 4/5
Needs is microwaves in the rooms
- 4/5
The hotel was nice as were the rooms. I needed a handicap room and the bathroom and shower were top notch. The bed however while very comfortable was way to low to the ground and it made it hard for me to get out of it. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The maid service was not up to par. They would not leave enough towels or cups for the little coffee maker and we had to call down to the desk at least twice during our stay.
- 5/5
Tons to do! Great area
- 3/5
*
- 3/5
…
- 5/5
The hotel was really clean and a safe
- 4/5
Nice hotel, great service. The area around this hotel is a bit not as expected. Many homeless and others lingering that may make some feel uncomfortable.
- 3/5
Lots and lots of homeless. Front desk staff were arrogant and not helpful at all. Also, paying $32 a day to park on hotel property is extremely inconvenient and annoying
- 5/5
This was my first time in Denver, and my stay at the Renaissance Denver Hotel & Conference Center was fantastic. I was in town to film a podcast, get a new tattoo at Endless Ink across the street, and perform at an open mic at Lion's Lair— and coming back to such a clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel made the trip even better. The property felt safe and well-maintained, with easy parking and good dining options nearby. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond — even shipping my phone back to me after I forgot it. I’d definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. It's those personal touches that really make a difference. And let's not forget the rooms – they were incredibly comfortable! The beds were cozy, the amenities were top-notch, and I had a great night's sleep every night. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.
- 3/5
I had to keep calling for towels. If 2 people is in the the room why only leave 1 wash cloth and 1 towel. It was ridiculous trying to get someone to being me more. Housekeeping kept moving and touching are stuff.
- 5/5
Our stay was very nice
- 5/5
I really enjoyed this property! Everything looks just like the pictures. It’s conveniently located near lots of shops and food establishments. The only downside is you have to pay for parking, which if you’re staying overnight for multiple days, is pretty steep.
- 5/5
The hotel itself is nice. Breakfast is very much so worth it. The area is horrible
- 5/5
The hotel was perfect for our stay. It exceeded our expectations. We paid an average price, and expected an average hotel. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised. Staff were very friendly as well as helpful. The hotel was clean and smelled fresh. Pretty architecture and big rooms. We didn’t explore the dining options with our busy itinerary, but I would highly bet the food is just as good. We would most definitely return here for our next stay.
- 2/5
Dated/Dilapidated? Paid a premium price for a sub par experience. Can't recommend. Facilities are way over due for renovations. Outdoor spa empty and full of debris. Indoor spa pebbletec 10 years past reno. Towels were like sandpaper at pool and in room. WIFI not operable, couldn't conduct my business. Sad....
- 5/5
I liked my room. Very clean and tidy. The staff at reception were so kind, helpful and amazing. The shuttle bus drivers were so helpful and amazing. So friendly.
- 5/5
Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Would suggest changing out the carpets or a very deep cleaning. As for the gym, remove a few ellipticals and add more leg machines, smith machine, rowing. Will definitely stay here again. Definitely will stay again.
- 2/5
The attendant at the desk couldn't help me with anything because of the computer system being down, however I the impression of something to the contrary. I say that because in the morning a different attendant, Victor, was extremely helpful regarding parking validation and another few requests. The details of the room looked nice but were just so cheap. The phrase "lip stick on a pig" came to mind. Will not be staying again if it can be helped. Poor experience overall.
- 5/5
Great breakfast and staff was super nice.
- 5/5
Lots of street people and highway noise but I felt safe in the facility.
- 5/5
Very nice and comfortable will def recommend staying here and i will be sure to book here again if im ever in Colorado
- 3/5
There was about a million kids running around the property even in the bar area. DO NOT DRINK AT THE BAR. Eric the bartender was arrogant and sloppy. He was rude and I watched him put ice in someone's whiskey with his bare hands. The rooms were decent. The balcony was nice except that ours was directly in front of the hvac unit. Room service knocked on our door at 9:15 when checkout isnt until 11. If you are looking for a nice relaxing adult hotel this is not it.
- 5/5
Very nice spacious clean rooms. Some one left a pizza box and trash all around a hallway trash can which made it look dumpy one day. the breakfast buffet was amazing with lots of options. Lots of food options around
- 5/5
The staff was phenomenal, I’m from Michigan and we don’t have mountains they were very excited to upgrade us to a room with a better view of them! Also very clean hotel.
- 5/5
Great staff, service, we enjoyed the location of our room and the location of the hotel relative to our destinations. It was quiet, we had what we needed. We slept well.
- 5/5
Great location, staff were friendly.
- 5/5
Great stay at the Renaissance! I LOVED the hotel and the staff were amazing! The area surrounding was a little suspicious but honestly I still felt very safe within the building. I felt the parking was also very safe. There are such little details of customer service that made the stay even better. Thanks to you all!
- 5/5
Everyone was so helpful and nice i will be coming back.
- 5/5
It was a last minute plan since our rooms with the holiday day inn was cancelled without our consent. Luckily, the Renaissance had a room WITH a balcony which one the same price of the room we listed. I love the atmosphere, the amenities is all what you need and it’s a perfect hotel for business trips or football games. The only problem I had was the parking garage was very dirty and doesn’t look safe.
- 4/5
Clean room and staff are incredibly friendly, location not ideal and neighbors were quite loud after what sounded like a night out after 2am
- 4/5
Elevators had a weird smell all the time.
- 5/5
Check in/check out was easy and quick; the receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel was extremely clean and quiet and easy access to food/shops if needed nearby. ~25 minutes to downtown Denver
- 3/5
I made my reservation in march. When we arrived I was told the room I booked was unavailable. I wasn’t offered another suggestion above “is that okay?” The man seemed inconvenienced and, being jet lagged, I agreed. The bar wouldn’t serve me due to a vertical id. I was celebrating a graduation and birthday and was unable to drink at my hotel. Which just added to the costs. Overall not a bad hotel. Just inconveniences I wish we would have known about before. The bed was comfortable and the windows opened to get fresh air which was enjoyable. And the Starbucks workers were all amazing. The best, most friendly staff in the hotel.
- 5/5
Checked out at 11am but my flight wasn’t until 7pm hotel held my luggage there and I went out for the day and returned to pick up my luggage before my flight very helpful
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel interior, a lot of homelessness around the area. Still a good location
- 5/5
I didn’t like the parking
- 5/5
Family friendly
- 5/5
I absolutely loved this hotel! There was no complaints at all from my family. Conveniently located. View is spectacular with a walk out balcony. It's quiet. And thr staff was friendly and accommodating. This will be our go-to hotel in Denver!
- 4/5
Very polite, respectful staff in a calm enviroment. We ck in and the sliding door to our room had a gap at the top allowing road noise in. The following morning we asked of another room was available and they were very accommodating to put us in a new room for the remainder of the stay.
- 2/5
I killed a cockroach in our room and the curtains are so dirty. The electrical outlet for our coffee maker and lamp were short circuiting . The sink in the bathroom was clogging and was so gross and full of hair and mold when I pulled the stopper. There was a homeless guy who walked in with a case of beers and a lot of homelessness around 12 by the front. We heard yelling and screaming all throughout the night ! My son woke up with bug bite marks all throughout his body.
- 5/5
Surrounding area was okay. The actual property made up for the location.
- 5/5
The rooms were very nice, however, the toilet was super low and hard to get up from. Also the opposite was true of the accessible room; the bed was almost too low to get up. It wasn't helpful that you almost had to get on your knees to get out of the bed. Lastly, paying to park is not good, but the price was awful.
- 3/5
Everything was alright,
- 5/5
Jana at front desk was lovely. Bed was comfy. Enjoyed the shower toiletries
- 5/5
Great Hospitality!!! Nice staff
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the architecture of the building
- 5/5
I love the atmosphere
- 3/5
Rooms are outdated and run down. The slider to the patio was a very old double pane that let in every single bit of outside noise. Walls were thin enough we could hear the neighbors tv. The shower leaked so badly that it took all the towels to clean it up and the paint was peeling.
- 3/5
Constant issues with our toilet. Maintenance crew came out twice and temporarily fixed the issue but it continued to arise. Very inconvenient and we ended up having to switch rooms on our last night due to the toilet issue. We also noticed a huge leak on the 8th floor that started flooding the bar area.
- 5/5
I’d avoid walking east of the property, but if you head south, Station 26 Brewery is a gem. The only letdown was the buffet breakfast – I’d skip it and eat elsewhere. Other than that, it was a great experience and I’d definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Very nice inside, a little sketch outside. A little expensive too.
- 5/5
I liked that they offered parking near by. The bar was also a nice place to grab a late drink. They do have places near by to eat as well.
- 5/5
The area around the property was not so nice or particularly safe. But the property itself and everyone who worked there could not have been nicer. Truly a perfect stay.
- 5/5
Everyone from the front desk staff to bar staff to housekeeping staff were super hospitable, professional and the absolute best!
- 2/5
When I got back that night it was not fixed. Had to call 2 x for someone to come. He could not fix it. Offered to move my room. It was too late so I decided to stay and engineer brought me a fan. The fan was so loud I could not use it. Between that and the noise outside I hardly slept. Very disappointed in this experience.
- 5/5
Property was nice and staff was kind and helpful!
- 4/5
Everyone was friendly & building was clean. Disappointed I had to pay for parking.
- 4/5
Very nice staff, but hotel was dingy and outdated.
- 3/5
Hotel was an ok 3 star
- 4/5
I like the staff and the place
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel inside and out but just in a bad spot of town. They also fail to mention that the only available on site parking is $32 a night. If you aren't willing to pay that then you are forced to park on the streets and there were a TON of homeless people around our car at all points through the night. Besides that nice staff and beautiful Hotel in general, Game Room is a unique addition and the glass elevator was a sight to see!
- 5/5
Loved it
- 1/5
The elevator slammed shut on my 76 year old husband and injured his arm!! We reported it in person at the front desk, and was promised a manager would call, but that never happened!
- 5/5
Dirty outside of the hotel. But the hotel was great
- 5/5
Very nice Hotel in a convenient location. Wonderful staff.
- 5/5
Awesome experience
- 4/5
Property is dated but well kept. Staff are excellent and helpful. Not an area where I would go for a walk outside of the hotel.
- 5/5
very nice hotel for a low cost. staff was friendly, rooms were clean.
- 4/5

Our stay was great. The only thing was the bathroom was not cleaned very well. There was a brown smear by the toilet which was very offputting but otherwise everything else was perfect and we would definitely stay here again

I liked that the hotel was close to everything. It was clean and I enjoyed the amenities.

Very nice bar that was nice to get a drink at after many hours of driving. Super clean and quiet. Close to downtown to explore. Loved this hotel will be booking again in the future
