Love the staff!
- 5/5
Friendly staff and great amenities. Room was wonderful.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and has pleasant atmosphere Shops, restaurants we’re all in walking distance
- 5/5
The place is clean and the breakfast is great. The staff was the best, from the valet to the front desk and kitchen, not mentioning the location!
- 5/5
Excellent location
- 5/5
The valet was so nice to have in Downtown. We walked all around and were able to shop, eat, and experience some fun adventures.
- 2.5/5
Friendly and accommodating staff who facilitated early check-in. The room was spacious. The room was very noisy, with persistent mechanical noise throughout the night that significantly disrupted sleep. The linens had a faint tobacco odor, which was unpleasant. In-room coffee was low quality, and overall the experience felt more like a motel than a high-end hotel.
- 5/5
AC wasn't working well.
- 5/5
The room was all very clean, comfortable and quiet. The lobby was a dream, the artwork is fantastic and it was the reason that compelled me to chose the hotel. The restaurant and bar were great, fabulous drinks by Kayla, who is a master mixer of dream cocktails and syrups, and a delicious lobster bisque. The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. I was impressed by their dedication to make my stay a wonderful experience. At the reception, Michaela Munoz was warm and kind, she made me feel at home. Tyler Watson gave me great advise about how to get around town and places to go, he really should be a Navigator but I was lucky he was at the reception during my stay. I would recommend the hotel simply because the staff is fabulous, they made me feel very welcome and I highly recommend them.
- 5/5
Convenient to Union Station and the train to the airport. Very comfortable and fabulous lobby and interior. Thanks for a great stay!
- 5/5
I’ve stayed before, but the staff is so friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Beautiful inside and so cozy! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing! Great location
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The room is very comfortable and in a great location, walking distance to restaurants & the Denver performing arts. N/A
- 5/5
We enjoyed the historic architecture and the modern conveniences. Service was excellent. Room was comfy and clean. We would come back.
- 4.5/5
The location is perfect to go to the Denver Performing Arts and many restaurants. The room is very comfortable. There’s a covered parking garage right next door to the hotel, overall a great place to stay for a couple of nights. N/A
- 5/5
The building is absolutely gorgeous! They have so much history about how it used to be a bank and they even have old vaults set up as meeting rooms. The lobby is breathtaking and they have the original murals on the walls. My boyfriend and I went for our 1 year anniversary and the staff were so nice and gave us free drinks and free access to the lounge. I was able to add late check out for only $50 extra and it was definitely worth it. Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Denver. It’s right next to downtown and it’s so easy to get around and there’s tons to do within walking distance of the hotel!
- 5/5
very good location, it used to be a bank. the bed is very comfortable no
- 3.5/5
The property was unique. It was an old bank. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.. To accommodate an early check in they gave us a room with a view of the boilers. It was the only room with that view. However, the staff did let me know this at the time.
- 4.5/5
Everything other than the remarks below My wife was not a fan of the bed. Too soft. Expensive car storage.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a perfect location walking distance to the Denver Performing Arts, 16th st, Denver Art Museum and many restaurants. There’s a parking garage next door to the hotel so you don’t have to valet your car. The rooms are comfortable. N/A

- 5/5
The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. ? I can't think of anything.
- 5/5
Very nice. We loved it
- 5/5
A nice Marriott property in the center of the city
- 5/5
Great location, excellent service, free water in the room, comfortable bed and pillows, great shower, and a coffee shop inside.
- 5/5
I really liked this hotel good place to grab a drink or meet a friend. Walkable to downtown
- 3.5/5
I loved the hotel, it is beautiful and clean. It was nice to have the coffee place in the lobby. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. I also loved the water in the lobby to help with hydration! Our airconditioning was broken. they sent service to fix it very quickly, but it was never fixed. It was hot!
- 5/5
The rooms are very large. Love the little sofa in the room and two tvs. Had a very pleasant experience staying at the hotel. if we ever need another hotel in downtown Denver we will be staying here.

All aspects of stay met our expectations
- 5/5
It was a fantastic hotel, beautiful inside and out, great staff and great downtown location. Prices a bit high for drinks and small items in the “grocery” - but probably what you’d see at other hotels like this.
- 5/5
Could use some updates but overall property was clean with great customer service.
- 5/5
Great stay, check in to check out!
- 5/5
Staff was amazing.
- 5/5
It is a normal business style hotel. Friendly staff. If you drive, expect to pay for parking, and the valet staff are possibly the friendliest I've ever seen. They will take care of you and your car.
- 4/5
The restaurant food was mediocre. The wine prices were outrageous for the brands. And the crème brûlée was the worst i e ever experienced. The chef needs to be taught how to make it. I was told by the server that this is the way the chef likes to make it and then mentioned that many people don't like it. She waived the charge.
- 5/5
The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. An additional bonus is the restaurant, it was actually the best food we had while in Denver! Hats off to the new Chef!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Great staff
- 5/5
The service especially the valet at night was so helpful. The shower was nice and roomy. The beds were very comfortable.
- 4/5
The front desk staff was courteous and efficient, and the room and public areas were clean, comfortable, and functional. The building itself, a former bank structure, retains historical decor and is nicely highlighted by information signs around the lobby. Dinner at the in-house Range restaurant was very good, and the service was excellent, though the food and wine price was quite high (understandable for this downtown location). At the time of our stay, this downtown location was a bit seedy, with quite a few people wandering aimlessly on the sidewalks and streets, though none in a threatening way, and once we were in the hotel there were no issues. The cost for parking by the hotel's valet service was very high, but we were able to self-park for less than half at the 16th Street structure next door to the hotel.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
I love it !!
- 5/5
Great downtown location in Old Cool Bank building! nothing
- 5/5
I love the lobby! Tyler (?) at the front desk was very friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Very welcoming and easy to get to from airport on train
- 5/5
Our stay here was great!! Easily accessible to lots of stuff..very clean rooms, bar was nice, live music 🎶 was great.
- 5/5
The room was immaculate, beds were comfortable, no outside, downtown noise penetrated. Highly recommend
- 5/5
Very pretty lobby, nice staff :)
- 4.5/5
Parking was $67/night!
- 5/5
While most of downtown is still under construction, it’s still easy to get around. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around the area. Range in the hotel and the teller bar, amazing!
- 3/5
The main complaints are small, but noteworthy- The tv remote in our room barely worked, which was fine, we made it work. At 10:45AM someone knocked on our door and let themselves in (assuming room service, though we had our do not disturb sign out). We let them know we were here and they left. The back of the door at the hotel says check out is at 12, however when you book they say 11.. either way, someone was letting themselves in before 11. We called the front desk and they told us check out is 11, and we explained it says 12 on the door so we will do our best to be out by 11. They were very kind about this, and extended our check out to 12, though it did leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Overall our experience and stay was wonderful, however for what you pay for a room and for a 4 star hotel, I think a few things could’ve been better. That said- the espresso martini by Josh (I believe, the gentleman working the night is 2/14), 10000/10!!
- 1/5
They did not give the room I booked and only gave one bed when we requested two. They stated that they don’t honor bookings through Expedia and it is essentially first come first serve. We then asked for an extra roll-away bed but they said they had given them out already and there were no more left. Terrible experience.
- 5/5
Very happy with our stay. Spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. Staff is super friendly. Great locatio, beautiful lobby. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Beautiful property
- 5/5
There was a bad smell on 6th floor for a day or so during my stay...like ?sewer. I didn't tell the front desk but could have done so.
- 5/5
Convenient location and friendly staff. Always our go to when we attend professional sports events in Denver.
- 5/5
Excellent service at check in and check out by the same employee at the counter. Allowed my son and I an early check in on a very cold day so we could add a layer of clothes and be on our way to an early hockey game. Totally nice about it and fully accomodating. Nice large rooms, well maintained, quiet. Didn't go to the bar this visit, but I have on previous visits and its great and bartenders are good and personable. Great stay in Denver!
- 5/5
Male staff were nice
- 5/5
Service was outstanding, valet, check.in, bar, all hit a homerun. Great stay.
- 5/5
Andrew at the front dest was amazingly professional. Thank you, Andrew!
- 5/5
It was a great hotel!
- 1/5
We had prepaid for a one bedroom suite and they did not honor the reservation because we booked through a third-party. Expedia/Hotels.com. I ended up with a standard king which was much less in price than what I prepaid and they refused to refund me saying we have to take it up with Hotels.com. I want a refund. Please contact me.
- 5/5
Beautiful property! We will definitely be back.
- 4/5
The Renaissance was clean, comfortable and the staff was courteous and professional. Check in was super efficient. This hotel is in a great location to see all the downtown spots—restaurants and shopping. Breakfast would have been better if the food was hot, but it was free!
- 5/5
I loved my new year’s eve stay :)
- 5/5
Was amazing despite a pipe leakage which caused us to be moved out of our suite, the staff was more than accommodating. So sweet and made me feel more than welcome, definitely staying here from now on with upcoming vacations.
- 4/5
Rooms are in need of deep cleaning and updating.
- 5/5
The rooms were big, updated, clean, and provided everything we needed. The hotel ambiance was relaxing, staff were so welcoming and kind each and every day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
- 5/5
The Renaissance Hotel was a sight to see I ended up meeting the love of my life, everything was exactly like my dream. It was a dream come true I'm shedding tears writing this because it's bringing me flashbacks of the fragments of time that will forever be cherished in my heart for the rest of my existence.
- 5/5
We had a great stay at the Renaissance. The property is located right in the heart of Denver city. Easy walking distance to 16th St mall, Union Station and Civic Centre. Room was beautiful, hotel lobby beautiful and staff so incredibly polite. They threw in a free breakfast for us for the holidays, and when we had a minor hiccough with a request we made, the staff went out of their way to make up for it.
- 5/5
Loved the stay! It’s was very nice
- 5/5
Honestly had a lovely stay here. The place was clean and I felt very welcomed when I first arrived. Beds were super comfy. I would definitely stay there again
- 5/5
More than I expected
- 5/5
Valet and front desk were amazing and gave us lots of recommendations for our time in Denver. The lobby was also very pretty and our room was clean and tidy.
- 3/5
Met most of our needs. Although the room we stayed in wall very thin and could hear water running through pipes.
- 5/5
It was great! Comfy bed shower was great had fantastic water pressure the bathroom was a little small but we made it work. Very quiet hotel. Close to lots of restaurants. Walking distance from Union Station
- 5/5
I loved the atmosphere of this hotel. Every area was spotless, The staff were friendly and accommodating. So many restaurants and bars within walking distance.
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel that was once the Colorado National Bank. We had a great city view from our room, and food from The Range restaurant in the lobby was great. Room service was fast and easy. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Unique and spectacular hotel with history as a bank that has been incorporated into the current set up.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful and the 3rd floor was very quiet. We will definitely book here again!

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Beautiful building, comfortable bed, clean room, nice shower. Great staff, especially Hass who helped us check in, get the lay of the land and settle in for the weekend. He made the difference between a solid good experience and a great experience. It was great. Thank you.

Nice. We were surprised by the good quality free breakfast. Not the typical continental breakfast. And plenty of little freebies that were available 24/7. Made a difference.
- 5/5
The staff was great.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel in a great area of downtown. Everything was walkable. The staff was awesome. Thank you.
- 5/5
Excellent old building that used to be a bank. The old vaults and other features are still there Rooms are modern, great AC, and super quiet. Security features like keys to go up elevators, nighttime car attendants, and guest only entry after 11 are also a plus. Bar in the lobby is a great place for a drink or to stay awhile plus they have a good restaurant on site as well. Good proximity to Union Station, Denver Mint, Coors Field and great food and breweries.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were friendly and knowledgable. The property was clean, well-maintained, and the rooms were spacious. The housekeeping team refreshed the room every day. Overall a very nice hotel.
- 3/5
Valet and front desk staff nice and welcoming

- 5/5
I wish we stayed more than one night
- 5/5
Very nice staff was very friendly. They had lockers for our stuff if we had a later flight.
- 3/5
It was only a one night stay, the room was alright, not as clean as I would have hoped for the quality. Staff was alright during check in, bar staff was..there, seemed minority inconvenienced when I approached. Check out was probably the highlight unfortunately. Overall I wasn’t really wowed by the stay.
- 5/5
It was nice and clean
- 5/5
Great property. Right in the downtown area
- 3/5
Everything but the room was a hit!
- 5/5
Beautiful lobby, Great staff , And fast room service.
- 5/5
Please have more pillow selections and of better quality. Make sure the carpets in the hallways are properly cleaned cause they have a bad stench to some parts of them. Great lobby. Good food options on site.
- 5/5
Great hotel for a downtown Denver experience!!
- 5/5
Excellent little gem in heart of downtown Denver. My son lives nearby and it is my new go to.
- 5/5
This place is awesome downtown Denver ! We stayed during a slow week and the price was such a deal
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with some great references to when the building was a bank. Nice bar and small restaurant. Great service and easy walking or scooter distance from Union Station and other spots. Of the four USB power outlets in the room, the two near the desk did not work. One of the plugs at the desk was loose and would not work. Some specs on the ceiling around some fire sensor or something. Overall clean but if you are putting USB ports at a desk, maybe check them and keep them working?
- 5/5
Worked out good for me . Recommending
- 5/5
Beautiful, unique hotel in great location with friendly, helpful staff. Loved the decor immediately when we walked in. This hotel is a renovated bank building creating a cool lobby. The checkin was quick and seamless and we even got an early check in! The room was clean and comfortable. The air temperature was adjustable to our needs (my son likes it cool to sleep). The staff were friendly at each interaction particularly the coffee shop server, he was awesome every day. Great location near multiple restaurants and downtown shops. Close to the Denver Union Station also. Parking is bit of a challenge but the 16th Street Center garage next door was easy to use.
- 5/5
Former bank now a hotel!!! Awesome!
- 5/5
Great hotel inside and out. Very friendly staff, Rooms in great condition and cleaned well. Close walking distance to many shops and restaurants as well.
- 5/5
They very conveniently located about half a mile from Denver union station and in the heart of denver downtown, which made our stay and roaming easier by walk and didn’t had to spend a fortune on rental cars or cab services. Staff is amazing and quick to respond to all our queries and needs. Our breakfast was complimentary with our stay, but the breakfast options were amazing and tasty. We enjoyed our stay a lot
- 5/5
Our stay at the hotel was great. Very clean, quiet and comfortable!!
- 5/5
We thought the art and history of the building was great. Very cool place to get a drink. Easy to walk to places to eat/ drink.
- 5/5
I loved everything about this hotel. Close to everything, very quiet, friendly staff, safe area, I will stay here 1,000 more times!
- 5/5
In Denver for 1 night, it was a great place to stay. Lobby area was very inviting and comfortable for enjoying a drink after dinner, without having to be in a loud, crowded bar.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and nice staff.
- 5/5
The hotwl is beautiful and right downtown. Check in was smooth. Room was nice too.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff
- 4/5
Lobby is amazing. Staff was friendly. Rooms were nice but probably due for a light remodel soon, cracked tile, torn carpets, scuffed paint, etc. Not bad but a little worn.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a good location downtown. The rooms are clean and adequate, although I had to move rooms because the first room had a vent that had the smell off kitchen cooking coming in from it. The staff were excellent and moved my room without fuss.
- 5/5
It was nice great location
- 5/5
Andrew was very accommodating. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
The room was great and there were plenty of shared spaces to find a spot to read and work.
