Hotel Indigo Denver Downtown - Union Station by IHG

My husband and I stayed one night after a show at Red Rocks. Everything was as expected. Great service, clean rooms, and most of all - the most comfortable beds ever!

We had a very great time. The staff was excellent. Rooms were very clean. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location, an easy walk to/from Union Station. The extra perks were a nice surprise (free lattes with breakfast, a $5.00 credit at the larder). The attached restaurant had great food and great service. The only slight negative thing was that the HVAC system was loud, but we used it as white noise for sleeping! I'd stay again.

The location was great next to Union Station/ caught the train to the stadium for a concert. Walked to ballpark. Not far drive to Red Rocks, Golden, Mt. Falcon.

Excellent all round, wonderful staff.

Location is great, Whole Foods, and CVS are right up the street. Union Station is right across the street where the train can take you most places in the city. A lot of restaurants and bars are also in walking distance. As far as price, was a little expensive after taxes and fees were added.

Our room was clean and very quiet. The beds were comfortable. The front desk communicated with us regularly and check out was so easy. The location was fantastic.

Great place to stay but there should be better signage and/or directions from the train station. It was a bit confusing for first-timers. Once we found a route it was a pleasant stay after long overnight on the California Zephyr.

Steps from Coors Field, Denver Chophouse (my favorite steakhouse in Denver), Blake St and its many bars and venues, and not too far from Larimer Square for fine dining.

Great staff! Shout out to Oscar at there front desk and Emily at the restaurant/bar. Great walkable location if you are going to a baseball game or using the train at Union Station to get to and from the airport.

The room was clean but minimalistic. Restaurant is not open during the day. The lobby is dark and cold, very sterile. Be nice to see fresh flowers or at the minimum a water station. Great staff and although I didn’t have a car, the parking was very convenient. It’s close to a lot of things but if you’re physically challenged, I strongly do not recommend this property. I will not stay here again.

If you’re staying here to go to a Rockies game, then you’ll have to walk on the bridge over the railroad tracks to get there. Lots of stairs or wait for elevators at the train bridge. Nice restaurant and bar. Very modern and clean.

The service and meals were great at The Ambler. It was a nice touch that we received a free drink each evening at happy hour!

This hotel went above and beyond our expectations. This was a top tier stay.

Overall, I feel like the rooms could be more comfortable. The bathrooms are weird (tp falls off the holder every time you use it, shower is slippery with a weird drain right in the middle where you stand, lighting is unflattering, no fan), rooms are small, etc. Even though it was March Madness, CBS did not work in the rooms. In addition, after the first night, the tv would only show one channel. It never got fixed over our four day stay.

We enjoyed our short stay and would definitely stay there again! The staff was nice, the room was clean and comfortable, the extra perks was the cherry on top. We chose this hotel because it is so close to the train station which made it super convenient to take the train from the airport to downtown Denver and then catch our train to Glenwood Springs the next morning.

Additionally, the parking validation system repeatedly failed, requiring multiple trips to the desk to have my ticket fixed. Unfortunately, the staff often seemed uninterested when assistance was needed, which took away from the overall experience. With better communication and more attentive service, this could have been an excellent stay.

Staff were nice and helpful. Everything was really quick! And didn't reel like a process checking in like it does in other hotels! I asked for a fan to be brought to the room and it came so quickly, excellent service. The only thing that I didn't like which probably can't be fixed is it was really dry in the room. Otherwise happy with our stay!

Room was ready early. Everything was great. Clean. Comfortable. Nice bar area with a complimentary beer or wine during happy hour. Lovely guitar player from 5:30-7:30. And the hotel is right across the street from Union Station. So convenient!

The entire experience was lukewarm, at best. No information given by reception staff. Noisy from 0500 in the morning. There was noise that sounds like someone was bowling loudly un the rooms adjacent and above. The room was cold. You can do better for the price.

Every thing was great. If zi had a complaint it would be the shower floor is really slick and is an accident waiting to happen. Still a five star.

You will need to find other parking if you have a bigger vehicle. The garage height is 6'2" there is a public parking garage diagonally across from the hotel. The hotel is tucked away in a little corner of the plaza so slightly difficult to find in the night time. There is no Valle parking attendants. Other wise a descent place. Union Station is about an 8min walk.

The staff went above and beyond-greeting us when each time we came in the door, texting us to see if we needed anything, assisted us in late check out and were gracious to us every day.

The shower is slippery which could be dangerous for elderly guests. Other than this, everything else are good and clean.

The staff was amazing.

The shower floor was so slippery, it is incredible I do not have a closed head injury. Drunk guy in the lobby, it seemed he was following us home, but he turned out to be a guest. The front desk person helped him get into the elevator by himself and hopefully find his room.

So convenient to Union Station. And loved that an upgrade was available for us! We had the most amazing room, which was a perfect end to our vacation week! We will always stay here when passing through or staying at Denver.

This was a wonderful stay! I highly recommend! Staff went above and beyond for us after our plane was delayed multiple times. Very clean, great breakfast and a 24hr shuttle to and from the airport. We’re looking forward to coming back!

My wife and I had to check out at 3 am to make it to the airport on time placed the keys in the box in the lobby. No one in the lobby to check us out even though I was assured that someone will be there to check out and to let us get in to take elevator to garage to leave with our car. We got stock outside door without card to get back in and door was locked for elevator. It took 10 minutes for a worker to open the door so we can finally leave to drop off car. We were late to pre ordered Uber to take us from drop off car to airport. So we had to get another Uber. We got charged $115 plus change. I called to find out what are the charges for spoke to someone I was promised that someone from hotel will call within 24 hours. No call up until now a week later. Nothing even by email. I still don’t know what the charges for. My wife and I had a good stay except it was ruined at the end.

We chose this hotel because of location. It is an easy walk to downtown. So many restaurants within easy reach. The front desk was especially welcoming and helpful.

The AC unit sounds like a B52 bomber plane when it’s running, very loud. Staff was phenomenal, very friendly and helpful.

The property is beautiful inside. The room airconditioner was really really loud. The ceilings in the room are very unique. Staff was wonderful. It was close to transportation to mile high

The only thing I was disappointed in, was no valet parking. It was advertised by the hotel and by hotels.com that there was valet parking.

Housekeeping was done nicely making the stay enjoyable. It was quiet for downtown Denver. The food in and around the premises was great with lots of choices. Would definitely stay again.

Nice rooms, great location close to downtown and ballpark. Many dinning and shopping options too. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent, don't recommend if you are in a hurry though. Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever had at a hotel. The parking was a little overpriced in my opinion, overall a nice stay.

We loved the property but wish there had been a provided pet relief area.

I had a terrible time with my broken phone and finding transportation and she went ABOVE and BEYOND. I will be staying at Indigo whenever I come to Denver just because of this type of customer service. Excellent job.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the property to be extremely convenient-close to Union Station, restaurants and shopping. Recommended for value and convenience.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was clean and super comfortable. The bed was amazing. I actually ordered the same pillow for home. I also like the the way hotel smells. The soaps are great and general scent is clean.

Our room was nice, but clearly well used. The bathroom door was near impossible to open and close. Otherwise, it was great.

You just can’t beat the location if you’re looking for convenience from Union Station. This is the second time I’ve stayed here. Close to restaurants, CVS, Whole Foods. The rooms are pretty spacious as well. Staff great, and breakfast is so good at the Ambler .

Hotel itself is modern and clean, the beds were comfy, and the shower was good. Service in the restaurant was a little slow, but the food was excellent. Highly recommend!

This hotel was great! Staff were accommodating and friendly. It was clean. You couldn’t hear your neighbors from your room. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the AC. When it turns on it’s sooo loud that it wakes you up everytime. When it’s running it’s fine but that initial moment of it firing on is unusually disruptive. Regardless I would happily stay there again.

The price you see on hotels.com is NOT the price you pay. The hotel tacks $25 per day to the price for some lousy "amenities". So annoying. They did not explain this and by the way, hotels.com isn't showing accurate prices either.

The property is in a good place straight off the train station or the Coors arena . It is a very average stay with nothing to brag about . The restaurant is very mediocre and the Air Conditioner unit is a nightmare!! The noise level was ridiculous and it felt like you were sleeping on the railroad tracks with the Amtrak train shaking the wall when the A/C was blowing . We never slept throughout the nights and asked for the room engineer to take a look into repairing the noise. The only positive was the lovely front desk girl’s named Tashina and Ashley that were sympathetic to our concerns.

Great property with great location. It’s very close to the baseball stadium and the restaurants and bars around it. The property was clean and the room view was great. Only complaint was we didn’t get our room until after check-in time.

The area around has the usual junkies and smell you could expect in any downtown these days. There are restaurants and services very close by. Good place to stay.

Nice comfortable stay. We were on the 8th floor and had zero noise from outside. Lobby was very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice perks for booking with Expedia included a cocktail per night, free water and $ to spend in the snack shop. We will definitely stay again.

Location was great, walking distance to Coors Field. The room was big and roomy. Did have a connecting room and could hear conversations but fortunately that was just for one day. Breakfast was good and staff were super friendly. Definitely will stay here in the future

The best hotel for our girls trip!

Really good stay, opted for the corner room and enjoyed the windows. Great location, downtown with accessible dining options as well as transportation. Parking garage on site was $45 a night. I wish it were lower, but what are you gonna do? Great food options and amazing staff upfront. In particular Oscar, working at the front was amazing and very helpful with everything.
