Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests praising the location and staff friendliness, but expressing dissatisfaction with the air conditioning and heating systems, as well as the lack of hot water. Some guests also mentioned issues with parking and cleanliness.

There was a surprise 200 dollar deposit and they said they would give me back my money after 3 to 5 days that is a lot5 of money for me why cant they gave it back when I check out ?
- 3/5
Good location, I got a corner room and the room was small but it was fine since I was staying solo for a business trip!
- 2/5
AVOID this hotel. Our room was unbearably hot (over 80 degrees) in early June. There is a major issue with the air conditioning on the upper floors. Hotel staff were able to provide a fan but no other solution. Judging by the amount of fans available this is a known and ongoing problem.
- 3/5
We had a few issues such as small stain on comforter, wet spot right when you walk in (probably spilled cleaning solution but still) they tell you at check in to call the front desk if you need help with the AC bc it’s central heat and air and we tried calling maybe 30-40 times and nobody answered we had to call the help line to get to the front desk. On the hotel profile it says on site parking and not a lot of people will do more digging but it’s actually $51 a day valet parking so we found a cheaper lot but that was frustrating. The shower was completely clogged and the tub would fill up after about a minute of being in the shower. Housekeeping never came on our 3 night stay when we did not have our sign on the door and we were gone for quite some time. The person who checked us in did not mention the $50 a day incidental fee so my card was charged without me expecting that extra amount and It almost drained my account due to the unexpected expense. I’m not sure if that fee was mentioned in the booking I will have to go back and check I do not remember seeing a $50 a day fee and they did not mention it to us at check in. Other than that we the staff was nice and they offer a good breakfast + snack options and the beds are comfortable. I hope our room was just a fluke and others are much nicer

No hot water in the shower! Could not adjust temperature in our room. Was told to let them know and then would adjust it. Their answer was a box fan, really?
- 3/5
There is no fridge, or coffee maker in your room. If you want ice, the hotel informed me that only the ice machine on floor 8 is working. This is a 22 floor hotel. This hotel needs a serious renovation.
- 3/5
The location is great and the staff is friendly. The beds were comfortable and there were enough pillows! They have central air conditioning. That makes it really hard to stay comfortable in your own room. No mini fridge in the double bed room. That is a major negative for people who are in town for a while and want to eat their leftovers or store simple snacks.
- 2/5
Great location and value with a good breakfast but all kinds of problems. 22-floor hotel with only two elevators, one of which often wouldn’t accept the card key to reach our floor. Our floor ice maker was broken. Our room had no outlets on the night stands or desks. Our shower butted right up to the sink, which poked thru the curtain. The pull to send the bathtub water up to the shower wouldn’t stay in place, so the tub flooded and the water would divert back down during showers leaving nothing coming out of the shower head. The rooms have little temperature control and the windows cannot be opened. Not really worth the value and not really up to Holiday Inn levels.
- 5/5
No air conditioning which is very inconvenient, other than that, had no complaints
- 3/5
However; if you stay here you will not have air conditioning in your room. Or a coffee maker, microwave, fridge or water pressure to take a shower. My room didn’t but my dads room next to mine had everything I listed above which I don’t understand.

Although it was a short trip, my stay was wonderful. This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I absolutely love it. The rooms are cozy, charming, and exceptionally clean. The staff is personable, attentive, and always willing to help, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Their excellent customer service and hospitality keep me coming back. I will definitely stay here again on future visits.
- 2/5
They oversold the hotel, and so did not have the room type we paid for. We got downgraded into a very small room. Still waiting for the refund for the difference in price on that… Hot water was intermittent, and AC barely worked! Will never stay here again.
- 3.5/5
Staff and room were nice. Had no issues with hot water, volume if other guests or any other issues. The room was quite small and no full length mirror which was super annoying.

This was a very quiet location and easy to get to. My absolute favorite was the valet parking which was included with the Expedia bundle. It was super helpful and this hotel is great if you want to people watch because at night the streets come alive the staff was Super friendly And patient

Conveniently located downtown - right where I needed to be! Daily breakfast was always fresh and delicious! Rooms weee a bit small but since I was traveling solo it was not an issue. I will continue staying here when I travel to Denver.

- 4/5
Did not like that there was central air. Need air control in each room.
- 5/5
Great location downtown near the 16th St. Mall. Staff was helpful provided tops on things to do and explore in the area. Stored my luggage.
- 4/5
Proximity to areas my family & I enjoy Ice machine was out. Homeless was unnoticed for awhile during breakfast & was touching a lot of the breakfast food stations.
- 3/5
The thermostat is not adjustable. They told us this upon check-in. Room was too warm, made it uncomfortable. Everything else was great. Clean room, very large and excellent view.
- 1/5
Horrible experience. No hot water for the shower, room was probably around 90 degrees and I specifically called down to the receptionist but no answer. Left multiple messages and never a call back. Slept maybe an hr after driving 16 hours not only because of the heat but also the banging of the doors all night long. Then, I had valet bring my vehicle in which the attendant proceeded to tell me he put the $51 charge on my tab, but I had already prepaid for parking thru Expedia. To boot, I couldn't get a printed, itemized bill because nobody was working the front desk, only the valet attendant. Almost $250 for a $120 room that was way too hot and water was freezing to shower never mind the overcharges for parking. Never stop here again.
- 2/5
The experience at this hotel wasn’t so pleasant. The air conditioning system was controlled by the hotel staff, when asked if we can make the room cooler since we have allergies and asthma, they were telling us that someone will come and check it out. We were told the air was “cranking” which it wasn’t. We also had to chase for clean towels and toilet paper for our room. We were told 20 minutes, but yet no one brought us towels. We had to call and go down again to get new towels. There was no room service also, we had to take the garbage out ourselves.
- 5/5
Location is everything.
- 5/5
One thing that really stood out was the excellent customer service. Everyone made us feel valued and taken care of from check-in to check-out. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

- 1/5
Absolutely horrible! First night the AC was non functional! We called for assistance, no one showed up. Second night, "engineer" showed up but couldn't fix the AC issue so they provided a box fan. Shortly after the lights went out. We called downstairs and got no answer. After going downstairs TWICE to get the electricity back on, the engineer showed my husband where the circuit breaker box was and that we could do it ourselves. The room was extra small and the entire experience was awful. Very disappointed in Holiday Inn.

Avoid this property. Not worth the money. The only value is the location. Otherwise, find another hotel. The hot water was “warm”. They had no bottle water the whole week i was there. My room was hot, felt like the a/c was not working and when I complained, the brought me a fan…..to blow the hot air around. Breakfast was “ok”, no frills. Just not worth the money. Tried to cancel but expedia said the property owner said no.
- 2/5
The air conditioning in the room didn’t work, there was a fight in the lobby during breakfast involving a hotel worker, parking was overpriced and breakfast was the same every day. One of the front desk staff was not very helpful.

Great location, phenomenal staff. Best value downtown
- 4/5
The location was excellent. Our two night stay was very good. We requested a lower level. Guest rooms start on level 6. The water temperature varied. It was fine if you take a quick shower. The breakfast exceeded our expectations.
- 4/5
Room was clean and in a great location. Enjoyed the breakfast. Room temperature got kinda hot some nights but overall a good stay.
- 5/5
Would stay here again.
- 2/5
I liked the location — it’s perfect for walking around downtown. However, my room had an issue with the air conditioning, and I had to spend three hours making several calls before the maintenance team finally arrived, only to say they couldn’t fix it. The front desk said there were no other rooms available and sent me to Expedia support..

It is in a very nice area, nothing crazy happened during my stay. It’s sad to see the staff having to work the front desk solo. But the staff were amazing.

Breakfast was good, we could park the car outside while we loaded it up with all our suitcases, location is very central Had a power cut at about 9.00pm which took an hour to get fixed, the air conditioning didn’t work

Overall, I think we would give another chance due the lication for a 1 night. Unless the water is fixed and would have liked to make the room a cooler. But ok.

I stayed at Room 866 for 2 nights. And it was a nightmare. They gave me one of the rooms that the AC is not working properly. They sent an engineer to adjust but then its still not getting cold enough. They gave me a fan but ta not comfortable to use and blowing all the dust in the room. I couldn’t sleep at all and i keep sneezing and then next day i felt so sick. Talked to the frontdesk the next morning. And instead of apologizing SHE kept reasoning out that they have centralized AC which i understand. I requested to be moved but still she just kept reasoning out. Talked to some people in the elevator and they said their AC in their rooms are just fine. When j got back from worm at night the 2nd day a lof ot customers were complaining as well in the lobby with the same issues. But instead of moving them like i requested they never gave appropriate resolution. And one them is right, they should have indicated that they are having issues with issue for some rooms. Or might as well not assign those rooms that have issues. So hoping that the future guests are reading this so they aware coz obviously the hotel is not having it on their profile.

Great location, good breakfast, comfy bed. Bathroom is a little small but for the price it's hard to beat.

DO NOT BOOK HERE AND READ MORE REVIEWS. We booked a suite on 21st floor. We’re told at check in that the hotel controls the temp in the room and that if we wanted it cooler, to let them know. So we did because the entire room was pushing 78 degrees. We learned from several other folks staying that they also didn’t have AC in their rooms. Staff brought us 2 box fans.. loud and almost useless. We were also told it was $30 for parking a day, it’s $50. Breakfast provided included cold scrambled eggs, cold gravy for biscuits and a Pancake machine that was out of order. No bedding for sofa bed, and crumbs found in and around the pull-out bed. We checked out a day earlier than planned due to the heat in our room on the assurance that we’d be refunded for any unused nights.. now the hotel refuses to uphold the agreement. Avoid the disappointment and discomfort..STAY ELSEWHERE or READ MORE REVIEWS ON THIS LOCATION.
- 1/5
The property had no control over the AC and when I asked for them to cool our room down, they provided a boxed fan to blow the hot air around the room. It was so uncomfortable that we checked out just after midnight and drove home. I would not recommend staying at this property.

- 3/5
It was extremely disappointing that the air conditioning was not able to be controlled by the thermostat in the room. It is controlled by the hotel. They sent someone from maintenance to try and lower the temperature and brought us a fan, but it was very uncomfortable and will definitely not be staying there ever again! I don’t believe it was stated anywhere about this. I would have not booked this hotel!
- 4/5
This was a good stay. Only complaint was that out refrigerator wasn’t working so our cold food went bad. It was clean and good enough for a one night stay.
- 5/5
This was a great stay. Staff was friendly, helpful and very personalble. Parking was a bit tricky, and costs extra. Overall comfortable bed clean room.
- 3.5/5
Good location in downtown and 24h coffee. It took time for check in by system error.
- 4/5
The Air Conditioner was not working and the room was very hot. I notified the front desk and about an hour later, someone arrived with a fan. I was told that the air conditioner "tower" was down and they were awaiting a repair. Also, why the shower glass has a porthole window in it is beyond me. Every time we took a shower water would spray outside into the bathroom.
- 4/5
Staff was so kind. Room was decent, bathroom was really small. My only complaint was the level of heat the room reached at night. So hot, and the thermostat only went down to 68°. Staff offered to turn down the central heating for us as well. Also, you have to pay for parking, and the closest lot is 12 hour maximum.
- 1/5
We could not park our van in the parking garage even though it’s a normal height. That was not listed on the site. There were many items of disrepair in the room. The door was wide open when we arrived- which was not acceptable and was very unnerving.
- 4/5
The check in process was easy and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They have valet parking which is $50 per night and very quick with retrieving my car and helping me with my luggage. The room was nice except the patchwork where you could visibly see where repairs were done. The toiletries are Dove which I LOVED. I couldn’t adjust the temp in the room to warm it up. The view from the 12th floor of downtown was really nice. It was a quick route to the highway. The free breakfast was average but I appreciate that they had dietary options. For a weekend stay it was nice.
- 3/5
The customer service on the Saturday morning was rude, unhelpful. The room stinks
- 5/5
Good breakfast and hotel for the price
- 1/5
The staffs and management was not helpful. I booked my trip through Expedia, and my reservation was canceled. I was then told to make a new reservation directly, but my original Expedia booking was never refunded. I wasn’t expecting a full refund, but I believe I should at least receive a refund for the unused/remaining days.
- 3/5
Overall stay was great, only negative thing I have to say is that we did not have any hot water for showers. Was hoping to get a little discount off but that was not an option

The hotel is very nice. The location is great. Breakfast was ok. There is only issue with hot water on the shower - You have to wait for it even 30 minutes sometimes.

Everything was great
- 3/5
Breakfast was great and rooms were great with a great location to downtown Denver. The biggest problem for us was the fitness center which was an important amenity that we wanted when we booked. Half the equipment (treadmills, bikes) didn't work so it was impossible to get in a good run. It is advertised as a 24/7 fitness center but it did not match what we hoped for.

The staff was friendly upon arrival, very welcoming and suggested restaurants and things to do in the area. I had a beautiful view from the 12th floor. Everything from check in to check ou was great and perfect, I’ll definitely recommend this hotel, thank you 🙏
- 3/5
Room was as described and clean. The shower only had hot water around 10pm, in the morning was rather cold. The couple in the room next to us began fighting around midnight. We could hear everything they were yelling and crying. Had to call security and they finally stopped after an hour. However the loud sobbing & arguing started again around 6am. It made for a lack of sleep, but nothing that the hotel could control. Just be warned the walls are thin!
- 5/5
We got a city view and it was amazing! Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The room was perfect for my husband and I. We loved the his place.
- 3/5
Very small room, room was neat and common areas neat. It is a vertical building 22 floors with just two elevators. One major issue - they have central air conditioning and our room got to 65 degrees at night. The thermostat in room does not work and you have to call reception to send in someone to manually turn off the cooling. Not ideal at all.
- 4/5
Nice breakfast options and decent gym. Room was on the small side but that can be expected in downtown
- 5/5
Good service. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Super great staff, really friendly and willing to help out with whatever was needed, room and bathroom were very tidy and clean, only problem was that the thermostat was set to 62 all night and the thermostat let us hit the buttons and the screen on it would change the display, but it wouldn't get even a degree warmer, so we were freezing all night and struggled to take a shower with out cold it was outside of the shower. Either way, pretty great experience with only one draw back!

Room was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast but better than most hotels. The eggs were omelets with cheese. Real close to 16th street so you have the free bus to travel close to the stadium. Great stay for the price!

This hotel is well maintained and the shower water pressure was great!! Friendly and welcoming staff onsite.
- 4/5
Access to downtown and ease of parking (valeting) my car were great. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and staff were awesome. I would recommend looking into the phone system as they did not work in my room-if there were an emergency that would be problematic. Overall a fun stay and would return again:)
- 4/5
The location was good for walking downtown close to the Ball Arena and Coors field. Breakfast was a plus saved money not having to buy one meal a day while we were there. Only thing was the ice bucket in our room was not cleaned and had hidden trash in it which was gross. Staff helped immediately and found us another bucket and put ice it in for us before bringing it to our room. Would also prefer to be able to control the room temperature ourselves instead of calling down to adjust, it was getting a little hot but we ended up leaving the room for the day so we just left it alone. Would stay again in the future.
- 5/5
Great for quick travel!
- 2/5
Booked a suite with multiple beds and when I arrived was told they sold that room. I had to be downgraded but was told I would be getting the room for 50 percent off. That did not happen. My card was charged for the entire amount. When I got up to the room, I discovered that the pillow had a booger on it so had to call down to front desk to get new one. The hotel is rather run down but the breakfast was good and staff was kind. I’m still trying to get my refund but to no avail.

Justina was great! She checked us in and took care of us and answered all our questions. Super friendly and was great.

Overall, I would say the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was pretty decent and the bathroom was clean, which is what I had like the most. The breakfast was pretty decent and the options were not too bad. I would stay here again in the future
- 2/5
The front desk needs to be watched better. Some horrible customer service. Miguel should be the highest paid person there. He was always helpful and with a smile to boot. The place is a cheap dump. Thin walls, no heat, no ventilation, gross dirty carpet, lumpy mattress, dirty window that doesn’t open, crappy breakfast with gross unwashed people wearing barely there pajamas in buffet and dining area. Their “market” is so poorly stocked. Not a bottle of water or. Diet Coke to be found. Really crummy location too.

I didn’t know that breakfast was included and was thrilled to have breakfast there. There were plenty of options, the food was hot and fresh and there was always fresh coffee available 24 hours. If I come back to Denver I’d stay here again and again and again, the staff alone made the stay well worth the price, in fact they coulda charged a lot more. It was a great value and a restful experience!!

N/A Our shower did not work. We complained to hotel staff. They sent a maintenance person up to look at the problem. The pin you pull up in the faucet was stuck. The maintenance person pulled it up with significant effort. He noted it was very difficult to engage. He did not liberate it. Simply said it was very difficult to operate and went on his way. We could not operate it and, consequently, could not use the shower. As such, the hotel did not meet its advertised standard. The front dersk offered no compensation.

The staff members I met were all friendly and efficient. The room I stayed was great, except it was way too cold for me to sleep comfortably. I raised the temperature on the thermostat, which did not work at all. I told it to the front when checking-out, he kindly told me that they could have solve the problem if I had informed it. Well, next time. Oh, one more thing, the breakfast could be a little better. Suggestion - roasted potatoes or vegetable for vegetarian/vegan people, please!

The HVAC temperature is set for the entire hotel and you can’t adjust it from your room. My room was 67-68 degrees the entire stay. Way too cold. It was freezing when I got out of the shower. I’ll never go back there again.
- 4/5
Room was clean, bed very comfortable only problem was the air con which was centrally controlled. Cold for 3 nights, too warm last night. Breakfast was fresh and yummy! Just needs a few licks of paint and a well worth staying here visit.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great and room was comfortable
- 4/5
Comfy bed.
- 1/5
No heat, room was freezing cold. Staff told us air was centrally controlled but did give us a little heater. We had no hot water and it took maintenance 45 mins to arrive. As we had a flight to catch we had cold showers. Breakfast was below average.
- 4/5
Room was clean. A bit smaller than I thought, but not a big deal.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. It was a great stay!

- 5/5
My room back in perfect temperature. The breakfast is way above average. I always look forward to the breakfast. All the staff is so polite. They're so knowledgeable. The rooms are so clean. The whole hotel is clean. The elevator is working properly. Check in and check out extremely easy very knowledgeable, lawyer they really know their job. They have all the answers at the tip of their tongue. I mean, they never have to go look up anything they're all very knowledgeable. The major very good. Also, the copy is excellent. The breakfast is everything so perfect the Wi-Fi never I never get kicked off the Internet Internet As far as IHG Hotel goes, this is one of the best ones out there as far as concern whenever I'm in Denver I come to the downtown Holiday Inn express 1715 Fremont Pl. I'm extremely pleased with this. Thanks for letting me admit this survey sincerely Anthony Emily.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 1/5
Better staff The rudeness of the staff not being able to have control of my air in the room
- 5/5
All was good, parking was confusing. The room was cold but a heater was provided
- 5/5
We had a minor problem with AC, but it was fixed. Staff were amazing and understanding!!
- 3/5
The property is definitely older and there's no parking lot, so you have to use the valet service, which is expensive. The shower was mostly very cold water and uncomfortable. The staff was friendly, though
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 4/5
Great location, basic hotel with very accommodating staff. Would definitely stay again

I always enjoy the breakfast options especially the cinnamon rolls and yogurt. We were unable to adjust the room temperature and the staff "solved" the heat problem with a floor fan. We were told to call the front desk and that they would adjust the room temperature but when we called no one answered and we had to leave a message. Eventually, we went back to the front desk in person and they then said they would try to improve the situation. There were no outlets by the bedside and the outlets we could find in the room were awkwardly placed and many did not charge our devices at all. The shower handle was not stable so it had to be held instead. The mattress was too soft and sinking.
- 2/5
No A/C available in the room. Several guests had to settle for a portable fan. The ice machine, water fountain and lobby computer for guests were out of order. I want some type of compensation!! Never staying there again.
- 2/5
people helpful , breakfast was good , no ac / heater , shower goes cold if someone else is in shower.
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The hotel was in a great location. If we come back to Denver I would definitely book again!
- 5/5
Excellent view and the room was amazing!!!
- 5/5
Extremely well maintained hotel with great rates.
- 2/5
Cold room, we had to request a space heater 8 times before one was delivered. Even with a space heater our suite never reached a comfortable temp. This hotel should be condemned.
- 4/5
Good staff, parking and service.
- 2.5/5
Staff was nice There was no hot water, the bed was extremely uncomfortable
- 0.5/5
They called me 30 minutes before my arrival to say there was no availability & that they didn't charge me. But they did charge me and I had to pay 3 times as much to book a last minute room for my 20 year old daughter that is making a 1600 mile drive & was exhausted!!! She did not get to check in and had to find something else very last minute That I paid for a room I never got and the hotel waiting till 30 minutes before arriving to say they had nothing available even though I booked 12 hours prio
- 1/5
When I checked in the room was no up to par. There was tiny public looking hairs in the shower. There was a hair on the toilet seat. The mattress has blood stains at the bottom of it visible to guests. There was nasty stuff by the bed frame. It was gross. I spoke to Billy who said they oversold their rooms and he had no other room for me. And I had no where else I could go at 10 pm. Room had central heating and air no air conditioning at all. The room was 82 degrees during the day. I spoke with the manager and showed her pictures she apologized for my stay and corrected it but I will not be staying here again unfortunately and don’t recommend this place to anyone either.
- 1/5
The room was so hot i called the front desk 4 times they brought me two fans and it was still hot they did not have another room so we had to suffer i really think we should get a refund
- 5/5
The staff!
- 5/5
Gianni was friendly and super helpful.
- 5/5
Gianni was a great staffmember. Very helpful, enjoyed how chill he was. Gianni but the G isn't silent like lasagna.
- 5/5
Great service, room was nice enough for what you pay for especially for location
- 5/5
Giovani was excellent and very patient and respectful
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff was nice. Room was a little small for the money. But overall 8 out of 10
- 1/5
The hotel did not have heat for the majority of our stay. Our room was quite cold, and they eventually sent up a space heater to help solve the problem. The lobby and breakfast area were quite cold on several days that we stayed at the hotel. Although the location of the hotel is ideal for visiting downtown Denver, I would not recommend this hotel until the heating system has been renovated.
- 2/5
We were given a room with no heat; the hotels solution was to provide a small space heater. We requested a new room, which we were granted. The second room also had no heat so we used the space heater which caused a fuse to blow. We spent the night with no heat and the next morning we used the space heater which again caused a fuse to blow, only this time they had difficulty restoring power. This resulted in us being moved to their sister property across the street.
- 1/5
I booked my room for my 5th Anniversary trip to Denver. I checked in 2/20/26 and the first room was cold. They sent maintenance up to try to fix the heat but it never worked so we were moved to a different room. The next room was also cold maintenance came 2x to try to fix the heat. The front desk offered a space heater. The space heater did not heat up the room, we slept in layers and a coat on night 1. The following morning the lights went out in the room and I had to switch to a third room. In the third room the heat seemed to be working because it was blowing lukewarm air, along with a space heater. I was able to sleep in night clothes instead of heavy clothes and a coat. I checked out today 2/23/26. I am very disappointed in my stay and I will be contacting corporate to get my money back. Denver Colorado was very cold this weekend. It snowed my first night and to not have adequate heat in the rooms was unacceptable and I will never stay with this hotel or company again.
- 3/5
Staff was great! Room don’t have heat.
- 4/5
Small but comfortable room. Everything clean and tidy. No coffee maker in the room, just a heads up. Staff friendly and check in was smooth. The included breakfast in the morning makes it an even better deal. Omelettes, pancakes and the usual hot breakfast buffet items. Location is right in the middle of downtown Denver and walkable to everything.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean and comfortable room.
- 5/5
Gianni at front desk was awesome!
- 1/5
The place was freezing. The heat didnt get above 63°. And that was with the space heater the front desk offered us. I stayed here last year and thought the heat issue was my travel partner. Its obviously a problem that they are not addressing. The night desk clerk was great. The morning clerk wouldn't even talk to me and went in front of me when I was trying to get coffee. The bed was very comfortable. I will never book this hotel again and would not recommend.
- 1/5
There was no heat, the whole hotel runs on a boiler system which means the rooms are not controlled individually by the room thermostat. The bpiler was down the entire night. They brought a space heater but was still very very cold. I had to wait to talk to the manager the next morning when she was working to request a refund. She was kind enpugh to give us the full refund the two nights we booked. But her kindness does not change the fact that its February in Denver and its 25 degrees leaving the rooms extremely cold even with the blankets!
- 2/5
When we called to have it fixed, it took several attempts to reach the front desks and maintenance took several hours to come to our room. By the time they got to our room we were already in bed trying to go to sleep so we sent them away. We petty much ate dinner in the dark that night. We put in the request at roughly 6pm and maintenance didn't arrive until about 930pm. We told them if they can please come back in the morning. The following morning we left our room about 1pm and no one showed up. On our way out of the hotel we had to remind the front desk of our issue. In addition to this we had a car registered with the hotel for valet parking. They gave us a ticket and said when you're leaving please request your car ten minutes in advance. Every time we were leaving our room for the day and requested our vehicle in advance as suggested no one answered the phone even after multiple attempts and we had to personally go down there to request our vehicle. This put an extra stressor on our vacation because it put us behind schedule for several activities we had planned. I typically enjoy booking with this hotel but this experience was not the best. Overall this location just seems very unorganized.
- 5/5
Staff was very courteous
- 4/5
Amazing staff -- clean room.
- 5/5
Front desk was very nice and attentive during check-in.
- 5/5
Very helpful and courteous staff! Great location- walking distance to bars and restaurants. Good breakfast selection.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
The room was clean and large. The staff were very friendly!
- 3/5
Was clean and all but didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t turn up the heat in the room
- 3/5
The temperature of the shower water was inconsistent. My daughter never got a hot shower.
- 2/5
No hot water. We had only ice cold water. Called front desk three times, no one answered. Went to front desk and told them about water. Someone came and fixed it (that’s what he said). My daughter started taking shower with lukewarm water. 5 minutes later ice cold water again. No shower for me. This happened at my friend’s room too. Gave 2 stars because there was breakfast ready at downstairs. That was good.
- 5/5
It was an all around great experience. It was my first time in Boise and the staff was so helpful in giving me ideas on what to do.
- 3/5
Our phone didn’t work to call the valet to pull up my car.
- 4/5
The staff were great! The room was clean. The shower pressure was amazing! Dining area was spotless and the coffee machine did its job! For the price I was a little disappointed that there was no fridge or microwave in the room. Totally my fault for not double checking the room amenities. Overall great stay! Close to everything!
- 5/5
The valet parking was wonderful! The front desk gals were so helpful and our room was just what we needed. Clean-a little small-but we were there to sleep and go to markets. Adequate breakfast, but some items were already gone by 8:30.
- 5/5
great room, gianni at desk was great, breakfast and breakfast lady was fantastic too.
- 4/5
Great staff, room was clean
- 5/5
The staff was the best! Very friendly and pleasant. The view was incredible as well!
- 2/5
Staff was decent & breakfast was nice but the room was freezing. The thermostat didn’t work in our room and we froze until house keeping brought a portable heater to our room. It wasn’t even a cold day in Denver, so this was particularly frustrating. Would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Great Hospitality
- 5/5
The downtown location was great, the rooms were super clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I would stay again.
- 3/5
There were no cups, coffee maker, microwave or frig, and we had to ask for cups & could have used frig. The room itself was fine & comfortable
- 5/5
Great Breakfast!
- 2/5
Room was ice cold. Shower had no hot water. No cups in room for water. I had a 3 night stay and after the first night, I had to request a new room, which I did get. The new rooms shower did work, however after I had returned to the room after my business meeting, the heater in the 2nd room also didn't work. I always stay at an IGH Hotel, but this experience wasn't what I'm typically used to. In addition, $49 per night for a hotel guest in unacceptable. Guests should have cheaper parking options. $150 to park a vehicle for three nights is absurd.
- 5/5
yeah
- 5/5
Hotel is in a great location and offers a really good breakfast. Gianni at the front desk made special arrangements for us and made the stay worth it. Only downside of this hotel is that you can hear people in the rooms next to you, fighting or just having a normal conversation. Other than that, great experience.
- 2/5
No AC controls in the room. Some people were roasting. One person couldn’t get hot water to work. The staff were nice. But hotel needs some maintenance.
- 5/5
Quick and easy to capital and mall!
- 5/5
All good
- 3/5
Nice reception from the staff. Rooms a little neglected.
- 5/5
Everyone in this hotel, Hotel staffed the supervisors even down to the maids. The clerks are outstanding. The food is excellent. The rooms are extremely clean. Everybody is so polite. You're not a number. You're actually treated with teen respect with understanding and patience. This is the best hotel I've ever been in in my life right down to the very piece of you could put a microscope on and never find any flaw on what's whatsoever.i would actually be always recommending this IHG "The Holiday Inn Express Hotel"above all others in Colorado! No question the Second Level has a walk over Tremont Pl connecting "The historical bound Palace hotel a triangular shaped hotel built in 1892. It has actually eight levels eight stories back in that era engineers could only build a building six levels or six stories, but with a triangular shape as a key puzzle piece Tiny Broadway with the old streets of the original downtown Denver following the river it's amazing that there's a chandelier in there. Oh my God anything you see in there is all historical. It's breathtaking. Absolutely it's a little pricey a brown palace but you get what you pay for but for my money The Holiday Inn express Hotel" The complementary breakfast is excellent. 24 hour coffee. Can you imagine that perfect cup every time I enjoy it I would recommend only this hotel, outstanding One Block away from the 16th St Mall. A Free Full Size shuttle Bus every Five Minutes stops at each Block Quite the outside Mall experien
- 1/5
We did not have a working toilet for 2 days.i called and asked for a plunger 5 times!! I went n down stairs from the 21st floor at least 6 times and asked. There was no response. It took 2 days for them to send someone up and 3 seconds for them to plunge it. How is there no maintenence or plunger in a hotel? And to top that
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and helpful the entire stay.
- 2/5
There was no hot water and no heater in the room, unfortunately, the hotel had a problem with a lot of guests
- 1/5
No heat in room had to use a space heater, no microwave or fridge in room, the outlets barely charged the cell phones tried using the hair dryer blew the breakers, beds felt more like full instead of queen beds, ice on the inside of windows in the morning, staff was not really sorry for no heat but they were nice, breakfast was nice, coffee offered 24/7 luckily. Did get a small discount for our trouble will not recommend to stay there !!!!
- 1/5
The hotel is freezing and we had to move rooms due to mice
- 5/5
It was exactly what I was expecting. And that's why I booked this property. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Great location.
- 5/5
Staff was great. And the room was very clean
- 5/5
Great accommodations, staff, convenient and clean.
- 2/5
Times. Please understand temps downtown were 5 degrees and negative at night. Since we couldn’t adjust temp we had to turn the heater on an off meaning it got too cold and too hot. The stay was uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Convenient
- 5/5
The room was great and front desk Gianni was amazing!!
- 2/5
The room seemed clean but this hotel only has central heating. The night time front desk guy said that if it’s too cold in the room I could call the front desk to have the vent adjusted. The front desk never answered so I went down there at 11pm and they said they would send someone up to make the adjustment. No one showed up and the room was freezing all night. I complained the next day and the morning front desk clerk was cool. He apologized and sent up a space heater and extra blankets and that night was much more comfortable. Weird that the rooms do not have their own heaters. Coffee was good and breakfast was decent. Don’t really want to go back though.
- 1/5
Our room temp was 52 degrees and we were unable to make it any warmer through the thermostat. Other guests were denied refunds or discounts on their rooms that were also without heat.
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay! Staff are amazing!
- 5/5
Was un town for 2 nights for football game. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was also quite good. Location was everything. Plenty to do well within walking distance. Will definitely book again.
- 1/5
Cold rooms in almost zero degree weather and cold showers. Staff was very kind though.
- 1/5
The rooms were cold as water the common spaces. The front desk was understaffed. The common spaces were not clean (elevators had crushed up food on the floor all weekend), elevator needed to be manually closed by front desk staff, the phone in my room did not work
- 2/5
The rooms were freezing
- 4/5
I wished I could control the temperature in my room when it got cold.
- 3/5
But this facility? Run down. We had 5 rooms for a volleyball tournament. 4 of the 5 rooms had broken heat (this was in January in denver- avg temps were 5 to 15° ) and they were offered a space heater or extra blankets. The showers ran cold, and the door to the Fitness center was broken, so we couldn't get in.
- 5/5
amazing staff, good location, good hotel overall we loved it.
- 5/5
Room a bit sparse but livable. Very responsive staff. Great b'fedt.
- 2/5
It was freezing in the room even with the space heater and extra blankets they have an issue with homelessness I saw the same homeless man twice in the hotel the 1st day at breakfast where he touched all the utensils and no one cleaned them or switched them out 2nd day trying to get into the fitness center on the 5th floor no one cares at breakfast the pancake machine worked one time out of the week I was there it was the same food every day no change at all when it came to check out no one was at the desk I stood there for at least 10 minutes no one ever showed up the lady cleaning the floors said the front desk person was at the bathroom and would be right back I got tired of waiting and went to ask the person telling people to go upstairs for the steer day and she went to look in the back did not find anyone did not help me my ride had already arrived I was in the lobby for a while with no one helping me still don’t have a confirmation of my checkout I just left the keys on the counter I couldn’t wait any longer when I arrived for check in we were helped by Gianni he was so sweet and amazing other than him nothing else good to say about this hotel will definitely spend the extra money on another hotel in the future also ice machine on my floor never worked the entire week
- 4/5
The room was very cold
- 5/5
Great staff,Courteous and extremely kind and attentive.
- 1/5
The room was so cold that we had to ask for two space heaters to bring it up to tolerable. The first time we asked we waited for two hours. After calling a second time, with no result, I had to go to the front desk to pick one up myself. We also requested an extra blanket, which we were told would be delivered to our room. Sometime in the middle of the night it was dropped off at the door, but we did not discover it until the morning. Also, for some odd reason it is now hotel policy that they do not put cups or a coffee pot in the room. I had to go to the dinning area to get a cup for my soft drink. The sheets also had stains on them. While I understand that "Express" is an economy choice, I have had better service at Motel 6. The only positives were the friendliness of the front desk staff and the breakfast was decent.
- 3/5
The AC was on the whole time and they told me they couldn't change it. It never got over 62 degrees in my room. Overall, I liked it but if the heat is a constant problem, I will not go back.
- 5/5
This place is great
- 3/5
The valet service and workers were amazing! Prepay through Expedia a
- 1/5
They had no heat. Cold air was blowing through the vents. I ended up getting so sick I broke out with fever blisters.
- 4/5
Room was quite cold no controls for heat in the room
- 5/5
Great staff great service
- 2/5
Was my super uncomfortable
- 1/5
No hot water and was freezing
- 1/5
The hotel was freezing the entire trip. 55°-59° in my room prior to requesting a space heater from the front desk, and even then only got up to 62° the rest of my stay. Tried to use the microwave, and it was on for about 5 seconds before causing a power outage in my room for half an hour. Really horrible experience.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn Denver Downtown before and it’s always a great experience The hotel is consistently clean and well maintained I really like that they use Dove products in the rooms The staff is friendly and customer service is always good I would definitely stay here again
- 4/5
Perfect in every way the staff the breakfast buffet fantastic the environment is very friendly. The cleanliness is amazing. The rooms are fantastic. The staff they're all great. The maids are very polite. Anything you ever wanted fresh towels 24 hour coffee 24 hour on site hotel clerks booking clerks anything you need they even have ice cream for sale little pricey, but it's still very frozen and it's a very good candies soda pop but you think 24 hours not a vending machine machine just charge it straight up off your card
- 5/5
Awesome place for the price, would forsure recommend
- 5/5
The team at the Holiday Inn were really fantastic. They provided great guidance when I had questions and helped immediately when I needed something. Really an exceptional service team.
- 5/5
All great, thanks.
- 5/5
Heater in the room wasn’t working but the staff provided a portable heater

- 3/5
No hot water the first night. I was told by the gentleman at the front desk to flush the to
- 1/5
We got charged $280 plus $50 for valet parking. When we got to our room there was no refrigerator no coffee maker not even cups for water. Upon further inspection we realized we couldn't change the temperature in the room so we went down to the front desk and they said the temperature is centralized and the engineer has it set to where he wants and there's nothing they can do and my wife was freezing the entire night and she's a diabetic and her sugars dropped. Then when we asked for an extra comforter and explained the situation they said they had none. Do not go to this hotel. Spend your money somewhere else and do your research
- 1/5
i was never able to stay
- 3/5
The breakfast menu was ok, there were only bowls and no plates,Dining space was clean, but can get crowded easily, they were serving frozen biscuits. Wet runny scrambled eggs, but the bacon was nice and crispy.
- 4/5
No water glasses in the room. wifi on 20th floor was sketchy. temperature thermostat control not good.
- 4/5
Overall Good, clean, service and location
- 5/5
good
- 1/5
Dirtiest rooms ever, smelliest rooms, the mold and filth in the tub and on the bathroom ceiling was wild. The ring around the tub itself god knows when the last time it got cleaned. Mold and mildew along edge. Mirrors covered in a layer of dust.
- 4/5
Breakfast was ok.the bacon was burnt. Eggs were cool
- 5/5
Gianni was a great staff member!!!! Helped us with anything we needed!
- 5/5
Perfectly clean, comfortable bed, no problems at all!
- 5/5
Front desk staff were very helpful and nice
- 3/5
Food was soggy and no taste. Rooms were too cold with no climate contron.
- 4/5
Upon check-in 20 minutes early, we were told we could do so, but after the gal took my credit card she handed it back and told us we'd actually have to wait till 3 p.m. as our room was not ready. Two customers behind us came up after us and were allowed to check-in and ended up being in rooms right next to us. I went up to a different staff member than the previous gal and he checked us in? We stay at this hotel on most if not all our stays in Denver and have never had anything negative to say, but the check-in and having no hot water all morning was quite disappointing to say the least.
- 5/5
Food excellent! Very clean!
- 4/5
Nice breakfast.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing. Beds, pillows, blankets, shower, breakfast. The woman taking care of breakfast was wonderful. Giavanni and Billy were great and are an excellent asset to the company.
- 5/5
This place hotel is great!
- 1/5
Old building with no room control of temperature.I was freezing and was provided a room heater and extra duvet covers because all the blankets were taken. No water supply for sale for over 2 days.
- 4/5
I had a great stay. I do wish my room had a refrigerator. Other than that, it was perfect. The best part was the employees. They were fantastic!
- 2/5
Staff never came in to clean or replenish. A/C is centrally controlled.
- 3/5
The breakfast was pretty solid, good variety of food. And the staff was excellent, all very friendly & helpful. And the hotel is pretty centrally located so walkable to many shops and restaurants. But that’s where the positives end. The room was not great. The hotel has central heating so you cannot adjust the temperature in your room. The bathroom was small and had a lot of quirks - it took at least 2 flushes each time to get the toilet to work, the sink and bathtub kept backing up and drained slowly, and the towel rack was literally INSIDE the shower. Also, the lighting in the room was very poor, although after discussing this with the front desk they were able to bring us an extra lamp, which did help. Overall, staff was wonderful but I don’t think I would stay here again.
- 2/5
Pas de chauffage pendant 4 jours tres froid pour déjeuner le matin. Pas de rabais non plus tres ordinaire.
- 5/5
Great hotel in every way!
- 5/5
The nicest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered.
- 5/5
Decent selection of foods.
- 5/5
Use of printer appreciated
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great staff rooms breakfast se to the 16th Mall downtown one block away perfect hotel in every way! Thanks
- 5/5
Great Place great Staff great Breakfast
- 1/5
the rooms were freezing
- 5/5
I don't know. The people were kind of nice. Everything didn't work out. The key cards never worked. The room didn't have temperature or heat in the room as well. The shower did not seem to work with the water. Lot of the things in it just didn't work out but since I didn't get any mean people cussing at me or things along those lines I will give them a pass
- 2/5
Central heating system wasn't enough to heat up the room (it was cold the entire time), they neglected to mention parking wasn't part of the deal when booking the room, some of the front desk staff was rude.
- 2/5
everything else was fine.
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and helpful. Recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown anytime.
- 3/5
Service was prompt! We asked for towels, and we got them quickly. I also appreciate the attention given to breakfast, there was staff there to keep up with stock and cleanliness.

The hotel itself was nice, good views, cleanliness was up to par. However, when we checked in it took a lot longer than expected, and for whatever reason when I was charged the deposit by the front desk clerk there was some type of error in the system and they had wanted asked us to pay the 100 dollar deposit again, even after showing them that it had came out the first time. After refusing to pay again the clerk was able to figure it out, and letting us check in successfully after a long time of waiting. The only other thing that made me rate this experience so low was that the heat in the hotel was almost non existent. We were freezing cold our entire stay.
- 5/5
Parking is high dollar but it was worth the stay
- 3/5
Staff was great. My room was 68 degrees all weekend and couldn't control the heater. Never have been to a hotel that has the entire hotel set at a certain temperature and couldn't regulate it myself in my own room. Asked for a heater the first night didn't get one until I asked again the second night.
- 5/5
The location, the view breathtaking I wish I could remember all their names Front staff so courteous and just amazing! I would love to stay here again
- 4/5
Everything great but elevators key card and buttons for floors didn’t work consistently
- 4/5
the hotel was in a great location so we could enjoy seeing and getting to many things in downtown Denver
- 4/5
This hotel is very convenient to the downtown area & the 16th Street Mall and Union Station, for using the free mall buses. Breakfast buffet was kept well stocked and a good variety of items. Loved the coffee machines there, basic but fresh cup brewed each time. Best part of this hotel was the staff!! Everyone we came in contact with was super friendly and very helpful!!! If you have kiddos, this might not be the best option, since no pool to keep them happy for a long stay, but for short family stay, business, or just wanting to be close to downtown it is a great option. We would definitely choose this hotel again because of the good price, good location, and the excellent staff!
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
The centralized heating didn't work, we were brought one extra light blanket and a portable heater
- 5/5
As advertised
- 1/5
There was no hot water. Very little heat in the hotel room. The right elevator did not work. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the hotel room. We have stayed at many Holiday inns and I was very surprised by this
- 3/5
Door handle for bathroom wouldn’t latch and was almost falling off. Same with the shower knob. Sheets are scratchy.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was very nice to work with.
- 4/5
The staff is friendly. The rooms were clean.
- 5/5
It was excellent
- 5/5
Nice place! We will stay again!
- 1/5
The staff was amazing. The heating/cooling for the hotel was not working properly. We had to have portable heaters in the room for warmth. Very much an inconvenience that may have been conveyed prior to check in to have alternative accommodations.
- 2/5
Bathroom had mold on the ceiling from either a roof leak or plumbing leak. Rear exterior door locking mechanism was broke and the door was propped open.
- 1/5
No heat in rooms!
- 2/5
The room was very cold and had no thermostat control. A small space heater was provided but was inadequate and loud. The dining room was also very cold, not a comfortable temperature for breakfast,
- 4/5
Staff was on point
- 5/5
Great location. Would be better if there were fridges and microwaves in the rooms.
- 1/5
We are in the month of November and the heater was broken. They gave us a space heater for the room so they were fully aware none of the rooms worked. There is no hot water at night; shower early AM. The elevator gave us a little trouble but nothing bad. I won’t be staying here ever. Holiday in should be embarrassed on this location.
- 3/5
the refrigerator was not connected. there were no cups, coffee maker, and air conditioning was central so the rooms were pretty cold. but those are minor things overall service was good and the rooms were nice and clean.
- 2/5
Staff wasn’t great, couldn’t check into my first room bc the door lock wasn’t charged. The second room they gave me, the bed was lopsided
- 5/5
decent breakfast
- 5/5
All good
- 3/5
walls were thin, could hear people talking next door and flushing toilet. room was small and very cold, couldn’t control the thermostat. breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 2/5
No heat in hotel for week room 63 degrees and paid over 500.00 per night.
- 3/5
The elevator would not recognize the keys half the time, so trying to get to your room or the lobby was a painful process. We had rooms on separate floors so people on the lower levels couldn’t go up to the higher floors unless they had the key for a higher floor. The hotel can’t adjust the room temps. Even with the thermostat set at 78 my room read as 65. Yes they offered more blankets but it’s beginning of winter. At 5am on a Saturday it sounded like a dump truck going through a nitroglycerin plant. The walls were paper thin so you heard “everything” goin on next door or outside.
- 3/5
it was really cold in the room. and there was no hot water so it didn’t help..
- 5/5
Staff spee
- 5/5
Suite great- but cold
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Clean room and staff
- 4/5
The air conditioning/heat was not working properly. They did offer fans or space heater if needed. The room was nice and clean.
- 2/5
The room was not clean, the floor was not vacuumed, no trash bags in waste baskets, pillow cases and sheets had stains. This was not the room I reserved. I reserved a queen bed and pull out couch and city view my room faced a the side and f the building. The elevator has food on the floor it smelt very bad.
- 4/5
Public transportation super easy access from the hotel
- 5/5
We could not control the temperature in are room. The hotel runs the thermostat. They did have a fan for us to use. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Nice clean rooms and a very friendly staff.
- 4/5
Enjoyed staying here while attending a conference right down the street. Hotel was decent however individual rooms do not have temperature control which I found odd. You will need ear plugs or sound machine to block outside noises. Was on 19th floor but the sound of sirens and city traffic was audible all night. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel next time I come to Denver.
- 3/5
The room was so hot. They had to bring a fan. The toilet wouldn’t flush well. Not all rooms had refrigerator or coffee pot. My room had an ice bucket but no cups.
- 2/5
We came in to a room with lipstick on the pillow case bathroom looked bad like a motel if you ask me the thermostat didn’t work so room was freezing at all times
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 2/5
The hotel has central heat and air so you cannot control the temperature in your room. I was freezing any time I was in the room. I had to request an in room heater, but then the room would get too hot when I was sleeping. There was inconsistent hot water for the shower. I had a take a mildly warm shower one day after being out in the cold and in a cold room.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and in a good location to get to restaurants and shopping. Only complaint is the room was small and no fridge or microwave. We booked a standard room but didn’t read the description that a fridge or microwave was not in the room. And the bathroom didn’t have enough room for 2 people to be in there at once. But would recommend staying here.
- 3/5
The room photos hide the fact, that the room is very small. On another recent trip I stayed at another hotel where the rate was comparable, yet the room size was twice as large. The lobby team was great. As a former Denver resident, the friendliness is was amazing.
- 3/5
Very small room with no access to heating/AC. Bed was very uncomfortable and it seemed smaller/shorter than a queen bed.
- 2/5
Very pleasant for the most part but got charged for parking-valet for a car I didn’t even have as I used a ride share to get to and from the airport.
- 5/5
Can’t wait to stay again next month!
- 5/5
Nice, clean room. Staff was helpful and thoughtful. Breakfast was perfect.
- 3/5
It's a Holiday Inn Express... and a well maintained one. It's a slightly more suburban feeling area, with Walmart and a few other stores being next door. The rooms were updated and clean, the facilities were nice, and the breakfast was free. Nothing in Rhode Island is terribly far away, so you could probably use it as a springboard for anywhere in the state, but we used it to see Providence before heading towards Maine.
- 4/5
We were unable to adjust the temperature in the room and it was quite cold, but we were able to get a space heater and that warmed the room up nicely. Even though we were on the 16th floor, we could still hear street and construction noises, and the building itself had a constant hum that was loud at night. The biggest disappointment was the price for parking. I didn't think to look at that when I booked the room and was surprised that only valet parking is available - $50/night. We stayed in Seattle the weekend before and only had to pay $35/night. I think Seattle is an outrageously expensive city, this price in Denver was ridiculous. I would recommend this hotel as long as you come prepared for the above mentioned issues, but don't bring a car!
- 5/5
Only complaint no refrigerators or small fridge
- 4/5
Great location and it has breakfast
- 3/5
Bathroom shampoo bracket fell off the wall. Paint peeling in bathroom. Walls were very thin and next room kept us awake.
- 5/5
Stayed 3 nights. We were not disappointed. Excellent staff in all areas
- 5/5
Our room was clean & had a great view of the city with half the room being a large window! It would be a great place to sit at the desk and do work from in your room. You can’t see the mountains, but great “city scape.” The bathroom is small, but we only stayed one night so didn’t need to shower or spend much time in there. There is a full sized mirror in the bedroom if you need more space. We walked all over downtown & went to a concert at Coors Field. Great location in downtown Denver!
- 5/5
I was only there for around 16 hours or so but I enjoyed how neat everything was. Clean room and lobby, breakfast was wonderful, and I came back wildly unsober around midnight, but I
- 1/5
This issue resulted in an exceptionally warm and unpleasant environment within my accommodations, which significantly detracted from the overall quality of my visit and made it challenging to rest comfortably. I believe this oversight warrants your immediate attention.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
The staff was great and friendly. Location was at a great spot in the city
- 5/5
Everything was within walking distance & clean room
- 5/5
The serve fee was awesome! We really liked the room….. a little on the small side but overall great stay!
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and quiet, which made my stay relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient with shops and dining options nearby. Overall, it felt safe and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
Double charged for no reason.
- 2/5
Turned it up 8x's Never got over 65. I know how to run a thermostat. It's not rocket science - heat didn't work
- 5/5
Great day clean Hotel
- 5/5
Very convenient and it had clean rooms, great customer service, breakfast was included, and it had stores and restaurants nearby
- 3/5
This property is very nice . It’s in the downtown Denver area about 30 mins from the airport. Hotel staff (Gianni) was very helpful with any concerns I had. The rooms were extremely cold and the staff made sure I had space heaters and additional blankets if needed . Gianni was overall outstanding
- 1/5
Hotel room was extremely hot and you cant control the thermostat. The shower had no hot water.
- 2/5
Heater did not work, and they would not offer a discount. Room was 60 degrees all night
- 5/5
Everything was perfect and the staff was great however it was freezing cold. I think they had some air-conditioning problems. Other than that everyone was super helpful and I do suggest that they should put on their website the payments that they don’t accept just makes it a little bit more inconvenient for people who don’t have backup payment methods.
- 5/5
Luciana was always there!! What a dedicated employee. She was always friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean and safe and quiet
- 2/5
The noise was terrible—I could hear everything from the rooms above and beside me. The linens had a strange odor, and the hot water in the shower took nearly 10 minutes to get warm. I know it’s Denver and the weather can be cold, but outside temperatures were in the 70s, so there was no excuse for the room being this uncomfortable. Whether it was the cold, the smelly sheets, or the constant noise, I couldn’t sleep more than two hours at a time. I left the hotel exhausted and just wanted to go home. Although the staff was friendly, nothing was done beyond offering apologies to actually make my stay better.
- 1/5
Zero amenities and can’t control the temperature of the room. Won’t park Tesla without a physical key though my car has a virtual key.
- 5/5
This hotel was gorgeous and clean! Staff was great. The only confusing thing was the parking situation, but that’s downtown Denver for you!
- 5/5
Great centralized spot that is charming and comfy. Love love love the bed!
- 3/5
I paid for parking and hotel said only valet, but I paid for parking not valet!!!!!
- 5/5
Please disregard previous review. It was meant for another. High remarks for this hotel; clean, convenient, helpful staff. My third party service overbooked us and the hotel staff were attentive to correct the incident.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was very good. Always greeted with a smile.
- 5/5
Had no problems at all and was even able to check in a bit early. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Overall the hotel was just ok. It just kind of felt like a dorm room experience. There is no ability to control the air conditioning, but they offer a box fan from housekeeping if requested. The room I had was a bit small, and you can definitely hear guests from the rooms next to you. The dark brown furnishings and red headboard could use a bit of an update and the grey industrial rug has seen better days. No refrigerator or microwave were in my room. The bathroom was absolutely miniscule and the toilet flush lever was oddly placed on the wall above the sink and vanity. Housekeeping should not be knocking on your door at 9am when you have a do not disturb sign hanging from the doorknob. Other than that, the hotel is in a very good area, literally steps away from the 16th Street Mall. The bed was comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. I suppose if you don't care about the size of the room or the bathroom, the inability to control the air conditioning, no fridge or microwave, and possibly hearing your neighbors, the price of this hotel and the location are very good. But I guess you get what you pay for.
- 5/5
I liked everything. The staff was fantastic, made you feel like family. The breakfast was very good. It was a very good overall hotel. I would stay there again no question
- 4/5
*ROOFTOP GARDEN DOES NOT EXIST
- 4/5
Extremely friendly receptionist. Gianni stands out with his positive attitude and friendliness. He is a star!!
- 3/5
Room was not worth price. I have not had hold fee returned to my card yet.
- 2/5
Days Inn level accommodations at Marriott prices. No fridge, smaller than usual rooms, and expensive but unhelpful valet. This was my first experience with valet not offering to pull my suitcases out. When checking out, we called valet from the room and came out to find our car parked with no attendant, then after waiting 5 minutes by our car had to go fetch our own keys.
- 5/5
ROOM AND FACILITIES, WALKABLE TO THE FREE RED BUS THAT TAKES YOU AROUND DENVER AND ALSO DINING OPTIONS. HIGH PRAISE FOR GIOVANI WHO WAS SO PLEASANT AND HELPFUL EVEN PRINTED US A MAP OF THE RED BUS ROUTE SO WE WOULDN'T GET LOST AND ASSISTED ME IN GETTING LYFT TRANSPORTATION TO THE AIRPORT, I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN WHEN IN DENVER.
- 4/5
Room was good. Disappointing that the ‘complimentary’ breakfast was very short of items on a couple of days (no fruit or yogurt - how hard is that ??) Wi-fi pretty poor although also ‘complimentary’
- 5/5
Had all amenities. Was clean when we checked in
- 3/5
Air conditioning not working
- 2/5
Fix Ac!!! We had to have a dirty fan in our room since it seems this is a constant thing. The front desk staff was horrible but manager was great and made our stay a bit better. Breakfast options was great!
- 1/5
They didn’t have my room when we got there. They promised me a room and didn’t get one the first night so we stayed in a friend’s room. Charged me more for the second night and never canceled my reservation with hotels.com for the first reservation and I never got refunded. Plus the AC didn’t work and they handing out box fans at the desk and ran out.
- 5/5
Safe place with lots of places to shop and eat
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable and all staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
I would recommend this Hotel it was nice and clean ,the staff was very professional and helpful…I used the public parking, it was a lot better for me .
- 1/5
AC was not working properly. Staff was dismissive. It was hot and gross and no one gave a sh*t. Stay there if that’s what you’re into.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff and great location.
- 5/5
It was nice
- 5/5
We really loved the location of this property in downtown Denver. It is close to many dining and shopping options. Also, near Coors field which is within walking distance. The property itself is clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Also, lots of breakfast options which is included!
- 5/5
Everyone was so nice and helpful. Great price location and facilities!
- 5/5
I enjoyed the stay
- 4/5
Convenient
- 2/5
Front desk and staff were amazing. Hotel is older and it shows. Rooms were good however you could hear everything the people in the room next to you were saying.

- 5/5
Location to event was his, building needs updated. Bought 2 rooms they were on different floors.
- 5/5
Pretty nice hotel overall right in the center of denver
- 5/5
Front desk and valet staff are very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Nice accommodation and friendly staff
- 5/5
The stay was good. The guy at the front desk, during my check-in, didn't know what IHG stood for, which I thought was odd.
- 2/5
I called ahead of my trip to ask about accommodations for dietary restrictions. I was assured that they had milk alternatives and eggs available for me at breakfast. They didn’t have milk alternatives and they only had cheese omelettes or frozen hard boiled eggs. The only good thing about this hotel was the valet staff. They were quick and friendly.
- 3/5
I am giving it low stars on the condition of the hotel would have given it more stars but the AC was not giving enough air. The room was hot, especially at night. I reached out once to the front desk in the middle of the night but got no answer.
- 4/5
I loved where the hotel was located. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. However, I had a hard time sleeping on that bed.
- 4/5
Lots of restaurants around. Small rooms. Parking is $48 a night, so you may want to park in a garage down the street. Breakfast staff was very helpful.
- 1/5
I have paid half the price for other motels. The premium high cost of this hotel is ridiculous for what you get. Never again.
- 3/5
The staff were amazing, super friendly and helpful. The room was alright, but there were a few things we noticed that were below average. The first thing we noticed about the room was the toilet seat did not go all the way up, and was obstructed by the bathroom counter. The second thing was the lack of air conditioning control as the control was not working (not sure if that’s normal or not) and the last thing was the lack of parking around the place. We opted for valet parking as to not have our vehicle more susceptible to break-ins, but for people on a strict budget, it’s not great. The valet staff, however, was amazing, and the parking situation is not the fault of the hotel, but just being in the center of downtown Denver. We had a great trip and we’re happy to have stayed in the middle of all the action.
- 4/5
The A/C not being Abel to be changed in the room was different….
- 5/5
Great bed
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
I had a great time and would stay again
- 5/5
The free breakfast was wonderful! The dining area was clean and the food was very good with a great variety.
- 1/5
Really bad, the A.C IS NO WORKING, they offer a fan but was really hot, no parking for trucks, we payed a lot for the parking
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 3/5
This property needs a lot of updating. The shower had peeling caulk and moldy edges, the bathroom was the size of a postage stamp, linens and towels were clean but had old stains, and only a couple of the outlets worked in our room. The mini fridge was not cold either though that didn’t affect us. The card reader on our door also stopped working around 11pm which was a huge inconvenience (we were told the battery ran out but I feel that this is something that should be checked between guests then). I could go on but it’s all mundane- nothing that ruined the stay but nothing that made it nicer either. Breakfast was good, pillows and mattress were comfortable, but overall this place was just meh. I won’t be back to this location again.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and included moderate breakfast options. We prepaid for parking but were told our regular size van with a bike rack on the back was oversized so we were directed to the Avis parking lot a block and a half away. Very dark, sketchy, and we were even told by the parking Lot attendant that our bikes would be stolen by morning if we kept them there. Lot was not secure or monitored. Forced bikes into van and tried to secure best we could. Worrying about break in wrecked our Colorado Rockies game experience.
- 4/5
This is an inexpensive lodging option in downtown Denver. Near (less than a 20-min. walk) Union Station, the convention center, and Coors Field. Five-min walk to a Target, CVS, or Walgreens. . . The temperature doesn't adjust per room. Temp was fine for me, but they offered fans in August if the AC didn't get the room cold enough. Had some system noise in the bathroom. Small bathroom. Couch in room was a plus for anyone wanting to watch TV comfortably. No in-room frig. . . Staff was friendly in limited interactions.
- 5/5
Love the location, it is only one block away from 16th street which has tons of shopping and dining. The hotel has valet parking and the free breakfast had lots of options. Everything was clean. Staff was very freindly.
- 4/5
Close to 16th St Mall and restaurants nearby. Room is big and bed was comfortable. Free breakfast was ok, could have more choices.
- 3/5
Rooms were hot.
- 3/5
Good walking distance to walking mall.
- 3/5
I found a pair of dirty socks behind the bed upon arrival and notified the staff, but they were never removed during my entire stay. Each day, housekeeping would make the bed and neatly fold my used towels, but the trash was not emptied. Basic cleanliness and attention to detail were lacking, which impacted the overall comfort of my stay.
- 3/5
Nice building, be prepared for no in room control of temperature. A box fan can be provided.
- 3/5
I like the environment around it, cleanliness was also okay but the aircondition in the room was not at all working in this extreme hot weather which was not acceptable. Though they provided me with a fan but this should not be a solution of central air condition system.
- 5/5
Front desk staff were super nice! Felt right at home.
- 4/5
The room was small, but clean with a. Comfortable bed. The batch was small and oddly shaped, with the toilet being skewed to the side ro allow the door to close. Also, you couldn’t sit up straight as the counter prevented the seat from raising all the way up, making you have to lean forward a bit to use the restroom, and the flusher was mounted on the wall above the counter. A really large/big person would have found it very uncomfortable to use and odd for sure, but functional. But for the one night it was sufficient.
- 3/5
Nice hotel...but the air conditioning didn't work. It was hot but we were comfortable with a provided fan. Breakfast was good. Overall probably good value, but...
- 4/5
Only downside was the fact that AC was not controlled in each room. Made for some very warm evenings.
- 1/5
Never stay at this Holiday Inn Express at Denver Downtown. AC were not working in the rooms and the hotel staff was well aware of it. Also the bathrooms do not have any ventilation, so its a real problem if multiple members are in the family and want to use one after the other. Staff was very unhelpful and acknowledged all issues saying they cannot do anything about it. Real shame.
- 3/5
It’s close to 16th Street Mall and some other tourist attractions. All of the receptionists were also very helpful and approachable! The surroundings outside the hotel felt safe and clean.
- 5/5
Very nice staff. Jasmine at frontdesk was particularly helpful and welcoming.
- 4/5
The bathroom was small, definitely a 1 person bathroom. The flush mechanism was a “pus h” rod in the wall. Had to have maintenance give us tutorial. Also close to Union Station and train.
- 5/5
The staff was GREAT! Super accommodating! The breakfast just right, LEGIT! The room was clean… corner room with a great view.We love it.
- 1/5
When I arrived around 9pm on the check in day, the reception staff told me that the AC had been down for months and asked me if I’m okay with it and will give me 20% off. However, I still charged full amount and didn’t get that 20% back. I tried to contact the hotel several times, but no response at all. If you really need AC, do not book this hotel.
- 3/5
The air conditioner was not a priority for the hotel to be fixed. The coffee machine was constantly out of service.
- 4/5
This is the first time I’ve ever had an air conditioner issue so they brought a fan to help. We also told them of lights flickering Minor details for a clean, safe environment with caring staff.
- 3/5
It was a bare basic hotel. The rooms are very small. Beds not very comfortable. Bathrooms. Really small. No restaurant on site so you need to walk or find food delivery. You can’t change the room temp so the rooms get hot. They say there are fans in the room but neither of ours had one. When asked to get a fan sent up. We never got a fan for our room.
- 1/5
No
- 1/5
Stayed there July 5th, 2025. Before I even checked in, I got word that their a/c was not working and guests were leaving. I asked about this issue at the front desk and the lady told me the a/c is working, but it is central a/c and when it gets really hot outside, it gets a little warm in the room...In my mind, I was like that sounds like a/c is not working. Then she told me if I decided to stay, I would be given a discount on my room, and if I decided not to stay, I would get my full refund. I agreed and decided to stay the night as it was already 3 pm and difficult to get another hotel at that time. It was 77 degrees throughout the night. The next day I decided to check out as I was not going through another night of a warm room. Again, I checked with the front desk that I was going to get the discount for the night I stayed and a full refund of the rest of the nights I was supposed to stay there. After my vacation was over and I got home I talked to expedia customer service and I informed of all this I got my refund of the nights I did not stay with them but not my 25% discount on the first night. I talked to expedia again about this issue and I was told the hotel is not give me a refund on this and they cannot do anything. I mean why would you recommend this facility to any of your customers when they have these issues even before. Did not see any negative reviews on expedia, but if you check google reviews you can see the hvac issues!
- 2/5
It was just too hot for me
- 1/5
The A/C was not controllable by the guests. It was hot and uncomfortable. They did however, provide fans for the guests. They really spoiled us with that. I order two wake up calls, and did not get either one. You cannot charge people to stay in a hotel and not allow them to control the temperature. Also, some of the outlets did not function. The Iron in the room barely function.
