Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. The breakfast is also a highlight, with a good variety of options. However, the hotel's age is a common complaint, with many guests noting that it needs updating, particularly the rooms and bathrooms. The hotel's policy of charging for parking is also a frequent source of frustration.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Good breakfast variety
- Hotel needs updating, particularly rooms and bathrooms
- Charges for parking

We have stayed at this property previously and had up until now found it to be clean and well maintained. On this occasion however we were distressed to find bed bugs. When we went to the front desk we were told there was no other room we could be moved to as the hotel was full. Were also told that there was no cleaning staff to clean the room. We were given extra bedding "to put over top" until the room could be cleaned the next day. We won't be staying here again.

I had an amazing view of the skyline from my room. The hotel was an amazing place to stay during fan expo and possibly made the experience better. The pricing was amazing as well! Absolutely nothing! I don’t have any gripes whatsoever.

Absolutely loved our week staying there. The place was so nice and the balcony facing the lake was so relaxing. Very clean, super nice staff, the washer and dryer was very helpful as well. Would highly recommend and would also return for sure!

Two times clean towels weren’t given and once our room wasn’t cleaned. Our stay was for 3 nights. Had to pay $10/night to park.
- 5/5
The suite was huge, well designed and furnished. The location was perfect for our needs.
- 5/5
Staff responsiveness was excellent. Andrew & Mr. Chris as well as the evening attendant extremely helpful The presence of vagrants about the parking lot. Would say the staff did their best when informed of their presence
- 4/5
Centrally located in Cherry Creek with supermarket, shops, restaurants and Interstate close by. Friendly staff. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Parking area with plenty of space. Good breakfast with hot and cold items. Free coffee/tea 24 hours. The bathroom looks dated and needs an update. Leaking tap and it lasted very long before the shower was hot in the early hours.

Hot tub was not working this is why I chose this hotel to use hot tub. And the breakfast wasn't all that good. I did get my parking taken off my bill. The funny part is I wasn't told there was a charge for parking when I checked in.

Our smoke free room smelled of smoke. Opened the door and old smoke smell hit us in the face!

Clean and friendly staff, good breakfast and unlimited coffee! Hot tub was nice, pool was cold.

- 3/5
Great hotel and usually breakfast is wonderful, one of the reasons I stay at Hampton Inn. This time breakfast was horrible. The breakfast potatoes were cld and inedible. The mini omelets tasted stale and were rubbery. I had breakfast before 7 this particular time. I couldnt finish the breakfast unfortunately.
- 5/5
Great location.

- 4/5
Bathroom is kind of cramped. Shower wall had a big crack that was filled in with caulk. faucet in bathroom was loose. Other than that the property is conveniently located.
- 5/5
Close to Denver University. Breakfast was nice. Morning host packed breakfasts for people who left before the breakfast bar opened.

kithenette was ok but very limited things to work w and very dated
- 5/5
Booked a suite and there was so much space!
- 5/5
Comfortable and easy to enjoy - just right for what we needed.
- 1/5
Our smoke alarm started beeping after we checked in. There was only one person working at the front desk and she said that she was unable to come up to the room to help us with it. When we brought it down to ask for a battery, she said she didn’t have one and that she could fix it in the morning. So were we supposed to leave a smoke alarm beeping in our room all night?!
- 5/5
Really nice hotel, excellent breakfast with a lot of choices. Heated pool, the jacuzzi was great.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and helpful
- 5/5
The staff were amazing and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was great and had a great variety each morning. We enjoyed our experience overall!
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff very courteous, fitness room was out of disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer.
- 4/5
Nice pool and hot tub,
- 4/5
Room was nice and big. King bed, clean, big windows, you control the thermostat. I don't recall a microwave or fridge in the room. I liked having a chair so that I didn't have to sit on my bed. I liked the tiny abstract table and lamp, the desk and having USB ports in the bedside outlets. There were no nightstands (traditional dressers) by the bed, but tiny shelves just big enough to hold the room phone and your cell. I sleep with a breathing device, so I had to put that on the floor. I did not like the bathroom. The toilet is very low and the bathroom door barely grazes the bowl if you're trying to shut it. You canNOT shut the door if you're sitting on the toilet. I advise everybody to read the "fine print" when reading the hotel's/Expedia's definition of "parking available." I didn't know until I got to the hotel that they charge $10/night for parking, which fills up quickly and is not that ample. Pool was open, which was interesting to see since it's winter. There's also a fitness center. I appreciated breakfast hours going until 10a, instead of the usual 9a. Food was okay, but better than just cold muffins and cereal. Area is near high end shopping and right off the highway. Overall, a nice place to stay.
- 5/5
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms look high end with a reasonable rate I can afford. I have a special need granddaughter, this facility is easy to get around with her disabilities. She can enjoy the amenities provided by the hotel. I am always so amazed at how quiet it is and that is something we appreciate
- 3/5

- 4/5
Excellent staff of course! Kind, friendly, and helpful! Really comfy bed. Soft-close doors, so I’m not getting jarred awake in the middle of the night with people letting their door slam. However, the hot tub is not hot, just warm. If I didn’t keep moving, I would literally be shivering. My only complaint!
- 4/5
Our stay was good very disappointed in the lady that checked us in I’m guessing she was having a bad day and took it out on us. Another disappointment was the pool wasn’t working wish they would have stated it was under remodel when we booked was hoping to take the grandson swimming. The room was great it was quiet and clean. The breakfast was good plenty of choices.

Rooms kept clean daily & beds nicely made. Front desk staff were all very nice & friendly and said welcome back each time we entered.
- 5/5
Loved it. Very convenient location. Bed comfy, good breakfast with a lot of options and room to eat. Staff very friendly. I recommend it.
- 5/5
Very nice staff. Pool and hot tub area nice. Rooms nice, but beds not well supported and way too soft, with both together causing bed sink in middle, causing foot end to raise. They nicely accommodated a change in rooms for different bed, but same issue. Breakfast excellent. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful hotel was clean
- 5/5
The staff was friendly, the hotel is in a great part of town, and our room was quiet. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and we're pleased with the breakfast.
- 3/5
The hotel could use some updating. The Pool ladder was broken, the mirrors in our bathroom were dingy and it didn’t feel super clean.
- 4/5
The check in and out were easy. The room was clean and without issue. The breakfast was wonderful!
- 5/5
Great breakfast!
- 4/5
Nice hotel and room
- 4/5
The room was large comfortable and clean. Great breakfast but we were surprised with a $10 parking fee and had we been smarter we would have parked in the adjacent shopping center car park.
- 4/5
Nice variety of breakfast (we were 3 nights)
- 5/5
Clean room. Friendly staff.

The spa was clean could have had music. Breakfast was good had a nice variety. The room however was lacking. The mattress was outdated and very uncomfortable. The bathtub was clean but the caulking was coming off. The extension shower head was broken and I thought that the spicket was going to come off. Staff was friendly. But upon check out they said the 50 hold would go back to my card in a couple of days. I have yet too receive it.

Room was clean. Staff very courteous. Didn’t like the fact you have to pay for parking.
- 5/5
Great breakfast options.
- 5/5
Room was clean and well appointed. Very quiet. Like the 4 hr window given for breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
As alwsys a clean, safe, comfortable, relaxing place to stay.
- 5/5
Parking cost $10 dollars per night
- 4/5
Breakfast options are less and there are no microwave to heat the eggs
- 5/5
The room was clean and someone always came to make the beds when we went out, the breakfast was very good, the staff very friendly and available.
- 5/5
Room was clean. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub and a good breakfast.
- 3/5
Paid extra for mountain view, but condensation and smears on windows made it hard to see outside. Breakfast was fine. Hotel seems somewhat stale and outdated. I always think Hampton Inns are overrated, and this one is nothing more than average. You can find a better place to stay at this price point.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great! Staff was very friendly! Will definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
The bathroom vent be did not work
- 4/5
I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s absolutely ridiculous that I had to pay for a parking pass. There was nothing stated anywhere online that this hotel requires customers to pay for a parking pass. I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t have complimentary parking, that usually comes with the room. The door to the pool was also broken, so I had to wait for staff to open it every time I wanted to go in. The doors in the pool room should be propped open regularly to air out the chlorine smell, it is very strong and overpowering. I had to prop open the door myself because I found it hard to breathe in there. Staff was nice though
- 5/5
What stood out most was that her kindness didn’t feel like “just part of the job”, it’s clearly who she is as a person. She genuinely cares about helping others and making things easier for them. I’m so grateful our paths crossed, and she absolutely deserves an extra shout-out for going above and beyond! BUT, $10 a night for parking is absolutely whack when there’s no where else to park. That’s actually messed up that you’re taking advantage of that.
- 5/5
William is the very best in class!
- 5/5
Ok
- 2/5
Was given the wrong room at check in time and the room was dirty with urine already in the toilet and dirty towels in the bathroom and then told there no housekeeping available and no other rooms so had to stay the night in a dirty room..also there was a shooting that night in the parking lot so felt very unsafe
- 5/5
The staff was amazing there was an issues with my reservations and they were amazing at figuring it out and getting it taken care even when they don’t have to
- 4/5
A bit noisyl
- 1/5
Unpleasant experience
- 4/5
The first night we stayed the breakfast the next day was minimal. We arrived at the dining room about 9 and most items were picked over or gone. The next day, a Saturday, was much better. Room was clean and comfortable. Worth the money. A nice hotel all in all.
- 1/5
I rebooked my room and the machine kept declining . I explained to the staff at the front desk that its likely a problem from their end given 2 other peoples cards also got declined but he dismissed me. I missed out on plans because of that. The hotel is also under construction , which the website does not mention and that was dissapointing. The bathroom tub doesnt drain as well.
- 1/5
I was not able to get my reservation as the hotel said their computer systems with the Hilton were not functioning .
- 4/5
Nice and convenient. Good breakfas
- 5/5
This was a great stay. Front desk was exceptional and professional, friendly and thorough.
- 5/5
Hotel is in a nice, convenient location In Cherry Creek. The breakfast was great (sausages!). Our check in guy William was super. The only complaint can apply to most hotels--not enough lighting in room or bathroom
- 3/5
Hotel was good. Could use an upgrade though. Everything was very average.
- 2/5
Everything was average. Nothing stands out to make this hotel above the rest. What the issue was asking for a pack and play and being told there will be one in the room upon arrival. It was not there nor available. For a hotel of a 150 rms to only have 2 pack and plays available is not a good standard practice. The only solution was to go to target and buy one.
- 4/5
Property and rooms were very clean. Was very disappointed with breakfast. No low carb or hot options other than waffles and coffee.
- 5/5
Kind front end, wonderful cleaning staff, breakfast was great...centrally located. No complaints here!! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
- 5/5
Property and room very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Property well located if you are looking to see someone at University of Denver. Very quiet, thought we were the only people on our floor because we heard no one. Only criticism is the parking area. If you were coming back in the early evening there was limited availability. And you are charged $10 a day for this.
- 5/5
Great breakfast, friendly staff. Good experience here
- 5/5
The front desk were genuinely welcoming and very friendly. Gave me all the info about the pool and breakfast up front and made me feel comfortable
- 5/5
the staff was great, housekeeping exceptional. Didn't like being charged $10 per day to park
- 5/5
Great hot tub. Facility was quiet and walkable to the stores.
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean, and the staff was lovely
- 5/5
It was okay will be back for a another visit
- 5/5
Great stay felts safe and it was clean and nice easy to check in.. the balcony was great with Mountain Views and sunsets every night
- 2/5
The room looked good it was a suite . THE BATHROOM WAS TERRIBLE POOR SHOWERHEAD NOTHING TO STOP YOU FROM FALLING ON SHOWER FLOOR, VERY THIN ROUGY TOWELLS ROUGH TO TOUCH!!!
- 4/5
It is in a good location and comfortable.
- 5/5
It was great!
- 5/5
We love the family suite option here with terrace. It gives us plenty of space and comforts of home. Breakfast is terrific and front desk always greets us with warm welcome.
- 4/5
Everything was great except for there being no vent fan for the bathroom and it’s made the whole room humid the entire time and the ac struggled to keep up so I woke up sweaty and humid/sticky all throughout the night.
- 5/5
The people made the experience exceptional - friendly, welcoming front desk staff, housekeeping, and breakfast service. Convenient location with easy access to the highway, businesses, and downtown. The room was very comfortable and the property has been recently updated. I'd definitely stay again when I'm in Denver/Cherry Creek area.
- 5/5
Quick one night stay. Staff was wonderful!
- 4/5
Disappointed with breakfast
- 5/5
Clean, good service. Liked the free water
- 5/5
Great location. Close to restaurants and the Nature and Science Museum, which is what we stopped in Denver for.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and clean. Nice bed.
- 4/5
The outside eating area was nice
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
We went out to see relatives this place was nice to stay at we had a suite with a view of the mountains all the staff were great but for a suite we expected alot more out of the bathroom really needed a upgrade overall a nice stay
- 2/5
Run down
- 5/5
Room was a bit musty.
- 3/5
Room condition and furnishings are tired
- 4/5
Helpful, friendly staff.
- 4/5
I would have liked a walk in shower. II would have also liked a TV guide so that I knew what was playing at and when. I did like the meeting room area. We enjoyed playing cards there in the evening with a cup of coffee. Room was nice and comfortable, the staff were all very upbeat and pleasant. Would go there again.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great place to stay with a family.
- 5/5
We love the staff.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, good location, smaller easy to maneuver facilities.
- 3/5
Somewhat run down, charged for parking for no apparent reason other than they wanted to, could easily park across the street and save the money but they don't tell you, pool was disappointing as was the breakfast. Some of the bedding/towels appeared dirty and worn out. Overall a below average stay.
- 3/5
Stay was ok. Signs around said they were renovating but i couldnt tell it was updated. Had king bed room. Bathroom was tiny and bathroom door would hit the toilet when opening - they had to carve out portion of the door in order to make door fully open. Lots of things to do in and around the area that are short drives.
- 1/5
I was asked to become a hilton member, which I declined, but my information was still submitted to become a member despite my request. I called to have it removed and was told it was done, yet I still keep receiving emails addressed as a member.
- 5/5
Good area and super clean
- 5/5
I loved my stay! Wonderful breakfast!
- 5/5
Nice staff, quick check in
- 5/5
Exactly as expected and everyone was very friendly!
- 5/5
The hotel staff were very courteous and professional. They attended to all our needs. Doug and Jeremy in the front lobby were great. They were phenomenal. When we needed to change rooms, they made sure that all our needs were met. We could not have asked for anything better. The transition was seamless and very smooth. The housekeepers were very courteous and respectful. We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites - Cherry Creek
- 4/5
Good hotel. Random things wrong with the room like the shower curtain not pulling shut. But Jeremy at the front desk deserves a promotion, he was amazing.
- 5/5
Very nice property. Loved the balcony even though it faced a car lot.
- 4/5
Fire alarm non stop for over an hour and half
- 4/5
The front desk service was amazing. It means so much to be greeted by a friendly, caring, and efficient person after tiring travel. I really appreciate it!
- 3/5
Not good
- 5/5
Excellent staffs, great customer service! They follow on your stay daily. I didn’t like the pillows they’re too soft
- 3/5
Pool was out of service, temps were high 80's. Fire alarm screamed for 3 HOURS on morning of 6/9, we had to leave the hotel. Staff was nice but obviously could not fix these issues.
- 4/5
Jeremy (night clerk) was amazing. Original room had squeaky fan and Jeremy found another room for us AND printed a document for us since the "Business Center" had been removed. Thanks Jeremy! Great personality as well - Hampton Inn -- He's a keeper!
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Exceptional service. I had left some items in the room and they quickly located and set them aside for someone else to pickup.
- 4/5
Spacious, clean, the furniture and mattress were in good shape. Very pleasant facility to stay in.
- 4/5
The front desk was very helpful at check-in. When we arrived we were disappointed to learn that the pool was closed for renovation and will be closed for about another month. This information was not provided at any point by hotels.com and while free rollaways are advertised they are not allowed in the type of room I had booked, again not mentioned by hotels.com. The hotel staff upgraded my room to provide adequate beds and waived the parking fees. They were very friendly and as helpful as possible. The room was very nice. Everything was very clean in the whole hotel. The elevator was a bit slow at times. Breakfast was not great, flavor wise, but the selection was good.
- 1/5
Jamie the general manager was great and super understanding with our situation that we presented him. Other than that unsatisfactory and unsanitary room provided at first along with the replacement room for the first one
- 3/5
$10 to park my car? What kind of foolishness is that for a motor inn? Room ammenities, towels, coffee, pen & pad, etc were only fair. Local dining choices satisfactory.
- 5/5
Our stay was great. No issues.
- 2/5
The pool was a big reason we booked this place due to for the kids, but it was under maintenance the whole time. They did give us free parking to compensate, but the kids were pretty disappointed. Pretty run down overall.
- 1/5
Meh. I won't be back.
- 5/5
Excellent as always
- 2/5
The experience was okay. The breakfast was very basic. I requested a late checkout and was told no. Checkout was at 11 and I only needed an extra hour and told no by two different people without even being asked how much extra time I would need. Needless to say, I won't be staying there anymore. I have never been told no when asking for a late checkout. Now I'm wondering if it's because I booked through a third party that I was treated like a second class citizen. I don't travel as much these days but when I did I never had front desk tell me a flat no when requesting a late checkout.
- 4/5
A fair price for the accommodations.
- 5/5
Tracey was the absolute best! She helped us with everything and made this trip worth it
- 5/5
Very clean! Staff was great! Parking was great! No complaints!
- 5/5
We stayed one night. Very nice staff, helpful. Nice, clean room. Options for breakfast. Easy check in.
- 3/5
They were in the middle of remodeling the hotel. We were hoping to use the hot tub and pool and these were not available to use. Also, had to pay $10 a day for parking, which was not listed on expedia.Beds were rock hard and not comfortable. We will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
The bathroom was "substandard", the tub tiles in bad need of regrouting, the tub was stained, the sink was badly stained and ill appearing. Several outlets did not work to plug in the iron. On the good side the bed was comfortable and the room was reasonably quiet.
- 5/5
This was a wondeful place to stay loved the quietness and the amenities
- 3/5
Hot tub and pool very dirty. Pool was closed so the area should of been cleaner. Hotel under construction so plastic, dirt, molding off walls and smelled like glue. Breakfast was great!
- 4/5
Nice hotel right off of Colorado Blvd in Cherry Creek. Room was nice and spacious. Bathroom was adequate. Everything in the room worked as expected. They had a pool and hot tub but I did not use either one. They also offered a free breakfast. It looked very nice but I did not eat there as I had breakfast at my business function. The fact they charge $10 is a bit disappointing. They have a large lot with ample space. Seems like a money grab
- 2/5
We have been going to this property for the past four years two or three times a year. This visit was not good! The bed was terrible. The service/cleaning of our room was terrible. The front desk was not helpful! they charged two different credit cards for partial costs for the stay. Not a good experience at all. Makes me sad.
- 4/5
Great stay, thank you.

The room was clean and near a variety of restaurants. It was alright for a one noght stay. We were disappointed that the pool was out of order and were unable to take our children to the hot tub due to an inappropriately dressed female(topless). Overall our stay wasn't horrible with minor inconveniences.

The pool was also closed, so a discount should have been given to make up for the amenities and bad odor. Great complimentary breakfast and hotel staff!

I’m not sure of the name, but the gentleman who worked the front desk during the hours of 6-9pm usually was so delightful. Always a help and extremely nice. This was a great stay and very comfortable. Loved coming in to a freshly made bed and tidy room each day. The room service was fantastic! 5stars all around

The hotel was being remodled, nice however the mattress on the bed was horribly firm and the pool was out of service. Other than that, staff was very friendly, breakfast was good. Would stay again.

All of these little things made the stay challenging.

We came for a function that was held at Cherry Creek Shopping Center. The front desk was super helpful and even though there was some renovation going on, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and my children had fun in the pool. I will stay here again :)

Poor room quality and horrible breakfast

They now charge $10/night to park. I would understand if it was a downtown property, but this is in Cherry Creek with an ample parking lot. We have stayed here multiple times, and this will be out last. Total cash grab for no reason whatsoever.
