Reviews
The hotel has clean and well-renovated rooms with a friendly and professional staff, but it is located in a rough and unsafe neighborhood with a significant homeless population. Some guests have reported issues with parking, noise, and breakfast.

Staff was awesome room and lobby are always clean. I dont have any complaints I've stayed at this hotel a few times.
- 0.5/5
It was clean Located in the worst spot ever. So many homeless people screaming and yelling. My kids and I were terrified
- 3/5
You get what you pay for. Out side entrances, rooms were clean, window air conditioners mine was blowing I think the filter out on the bed. Housekeeping was good. Staff was nice, I would say a 1 night stop it would be great .
- 4/5
The bathroom is small and does not have a fan. For the price point, it is a good value. Coffee and continental breakfast is available. Parking costs $15. The neighborhood is kind of sketchy but within walking distance to many places of interest. We will stay there again.
- 4/5
We like the location next to our favorite dance venue, and regularly stay here. But it isn't a neighborhood for everyone. Late night noise from the adjacent club, homelessness all around. The hotel itself, and its parking lot, always feel safe, though, and we plan to visit again.

Nothing. The property was not as advertised. The pictures were not as depicted. We did not stay in a room because we did not feel safe. If you prefer getting yelled at by homeless people, sketchy area, and bad customer service this is the place for you. There is also an undisclosed parking fee of $15 per night to park your car in a sketchy parking lot. After talking to booking.com the concierge even agreed with our statements and to a cancellation but the manager charged us anyways and would not authorize cancel.

Staff were okay and rooms were okay but the surrounding area is a warzone, people screaming all night and there were several long term residents that ran around the hotel like it was their apartment complex. Overpriced for the dump that it is, stay elsewhere!

Inexpensive, not much for breakfast but ok beds. Rooms accessible on the ground floor from the outside.

The rooms are very basic, nothing special., The neighborhood is a little 00

all good

The property is fine. Rooms are fairly updated, but it is a motel. That should be your expectation. The staff is A+. Very helpful, kind and considerate. It is right next to a bar with an outdoor area and across from a concert venue, so expect some late night noise. That said, because my room was directly above the bar patio, the staff instantly responded to my room change request and I was much happier being off the parking lot.

Great place to stay for a show. Just have to be aware of your surroundings. Love the room got a new facelift. Thank you Arianna and staff for the good place to stay. 🙏🤘
- 1/5
Not as described, tub was dirty, found bugs in the corner of the restroom, sheet were not changed, asked them to change them twice before they actually did.
- 5/5
Location was perfect!!
- 3/5
It has been refurbished with paint. The mattresses need replacement.
- 1/5
Don't expect to use the mini fridge if you want to sleep. It makes a cherp/click sound every 30 sec and buzzes the rest of the time. (Definitely the mini fridge and not the smoke detector) If you're thinking it's a one off, it's not as they replaced it while I was here and the new one did the same. Unplug it if you want to sleep. In a double room, the bathroom light doesn't have a dedicated switch for the vanity, so if you need to use it at night/shower in the am, you have to blast the room with light so you can see. It has a fan, but the fan doesn't work. One of the lamps didn't work. The beds aren't particularly comfortable and the standard room has full beds, not queens. Construction is currently ongoing so check in early and don't leave with your car or you won't have a place to park and waste the 15 dollar parking fee. Overall, if there's an alternative place to stay, take it. It's convenient location for shows is the only real upside.
- 1/5
Staff was not friendly plus one of the housekeeper. I was slowly walking my mother (hadycap) to taker her to drink coffee housekeeper ran infront of my open the office door walked not hold the door for me and my mohter but she did open it again and said, you cant come in through here you have to go around from the back knowing that my mom couldnt walk but why she was able to come into the office and us. I asked for my my money back and of course no luck.
- 1/5
They also have hidden charges, parking fees and $100 hold on card. The staff said it's on the website.

- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay, and it was sort of for a long period of time due to work but I really enjoyed myself. Also, the staff was great and made sure the breakfast was out on time, Everytime at 06:30 AM. Housekeeping always stopped by to check and see if I needed anything. Would recommend to anyone!! :)
- 5/5
Great location for concerts at Fillmore auditorium!
- 2/5
Staff was great! Location was not good, lots of club noise and people outside screaming well into the late night. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, I checked out a night early because I was in pain from the bed.
- 4/5
Convenient location for one night concert nearby, bed was not very comfortable and could hear a lot of traffic, random loud noises in the room, for the price would pick another option
- 1/5
The pictures on expedia are deceptive. It is a trashy rundown neighborhood. Wyndham should be EMARRASSED to have their name on it. EXPEDIA falsely presents this property!
- 4/5
Used heater- should supply extra blanket
- 4/5
Clean room. Updated rooms.
- 3/5
I don't think anything could improve our stay. This rating is based on location and expectation. We went for cheapness and location as we needed a short walk to the Bluebird theater.
- 4/5
Staff were great
- 2/5
The room was musty smelling. Hard to sleep with all the traffic and drunk people from the local clubs.
- 5/5
The breakfast had OJ, coffee, cereal, mini muffins, yogurt, toast, granola bars, and instant soups.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean
- 3/5
Outside was first dirty. Room was fine.
- 5/5
Very close to Filmore Auditorium! Clean and comfortable enough.
- 2/5
Staff was great. But there was a guest above my room with two dogs that barked all night long for two nights. It’s ridiculous pet owners are allowed to bring unruly pets. Am I not supposed to have a restful night. Definitely pets shouldn’t be allowed if not trained.
- 5/5
Staff is very helpful, providing information needed and amenities. Dog friendly.
- 4/5
Room was okey, no complaints. Window heating. Very dirty elevator and front entrance. Service friendly. Very poor choices for breakfast.
- 5/5
Yes, staff was helpful.
- 3/5
The staff was great! The room was average
- 1/5
Beds were hard as a rock. Sleeping on the beds were like a box spring. Pillows were all different kinds like from a surplus store. Bullet proof glass on the Front Desk window. UGH
- 5/5
Very clean... Not glamorous but well kept.... They are currently remodeling... I had a great stay for what I needed
- 4/5
Nice hotel except when I had requested a 1st floor when I made the reservation a couple of months ago they did not have any.
- 3/5
Breakfast was good. Just wanted a few more items. Maybe a waffle iron.
- 5/5
So close to the Ogden Theater
- 2/5
The heater did not work in the room
- 5/5
Much nicer than expected!
- 1/5
This place is a nasty joke anyway. Looks like you might get robbed or raped just moving around the premises. Always dealt with it... not any more! No thank you! Oh i almost forgot the best part...the manager (who front desk would NEVER tell me how get a hold of!) , call me a half hour later to tell me someone else is checking out and we will have to wait. Dude, we are checking in at the warwick a half mile away. Who checks out at 6 pm? You got people living there willing to get kicked out for the night? Illegals or something? You did me dirty. Never again. You know where to put your apologies!
- 4/5
Didn't know parking was $15/night and the sheets had stains of a years stay.
- 3/5
Room was clean but small. Refrigerator was nice. Construction is still a issue on Colfax.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable. The location was just around the corner from where I was attending the function I was in town for. Price was very reasonable and also offered parking on site.
- 1/5
I paid a lot for one night to be in the mix and the breakfast said continental breakfast and it wasn’t the room is discussed and it looks like something down closer to Aurora on East Colfax but I will say this the guy at the front desk found dayshift he he’s extraordinary. He’s too good for that job so you’ll need to give him a raise. He makes the best at all what it is
- 3/5
Cot was child size, pretty small for an adult. Sink was outside bathroom so you had to turn on light at sink to see in the bathroom, which lit up the room. Affected sleep. No fan in bathroom. Supposed to have free parking but when we arrived I had to pay $15 per day. Unsatisfactory stay.
- 4/5
It was convenient to stay close to where I work. Cozy little place, the only thing is the parking ($15 not included in the price) which is a bit expensive if you ask me). Other than that not bad.
- 2/5
The room was clean but the area was terrible. Did not feel safe
- 4/5
Located near a lot of restaurants within walking distance of a lot of things. The surrounding area has definitely cleaned up from the last time we were here. Continental breakfast was all cold options such as cereal but for the price it was worth it for. Sure. Parking can be an issue if you don’t get a spot early. Our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed two nights.
- 1/5
No parking even with a pass. Dirty stained sheets. I wouldn't suggest staying here if your a women. Scary area and people. I went home instead of staying there.
- 1/5
Did not check in so can’t comment regarding staff. Hotel was in a less desirable area which was a major problem for my son and I. Homeless and drug activity surrounding the immediate area of hotel and check in. Unfortunately had to cancel my reservation. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 5/5
Stayed for a night for a concert. Provided what we needed, a place to stay. Staff let us check in early with no additional fee due to the elevator being down which wasnt an issue. Wasnt a super high quality hotel by anymeans but did its job.
- 5/5
Easy instructions slept and was gone. Very easy
- 4/5
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful during check in. Room was clean and safe.
- 4/5
Convenient location for the reasons we travelled, parking with a pass from the front desk. Late night food options within easy walking.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet
- 4/5
Right next to concert venue and walking distance to capitol and 16th street mall. Because of it’s location it is noisy at night but did not mind it since we were there for a concert.
- 4/5
It's ok if you just want to sleep there.
- 2/5
Much lower quality than expected
- 3/5
Nice hotel for the location. I wouldn't rate the neighborhood as 5 stars but they had decent security. Great location if your a young concert goer at the ogden across the street.
- 3/5
Such à wonderful room. I understand that the homeless situation outside the property is out of your control
- 2/5
Hotel is very dirty and poor from the room door out. Inside of the room it is OK.
- 1/5
I parked And 5 prostitutes came to the car asking if we neede their service or drugs I saw a man at the corner of the street Never got off the car even I just started driving out of the parking lot and kept driving until I felt safe. I was scared, shocked and surprised.
- 1/5
I stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The problem is that I go lots if bites from bed bugs….. the hotel changed the room but no compensation. No bed bugs accepted.
- 2/5
Not recommended
- 2/5
Arriving, the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean but showing signs of age. Public areas were not clean or well maintained. Breakfast was disappointing; had to ask for more coffee, fruit was not good looking, they ran out of yogurt & juice boxes early. Morning desk clerk was surly. Mattress in room was not very comfortable. Parking was limited. Neighborhood was NOT a problem, it's a midtown hotel in a diverse community. Theaters and attractions nearby!
- 5/5
Love it great price clean and great location
- 1/5
So I stayed here and of all the places I have ever stayed at this has been one of the most expensive places... and not in a good way. the rooms are small, beds were just a springy box with the absolute minimum of cushioning, 3 pillows that felt like they were filled rolled up socks, no microwave, no toiletries besides shampoo, toilet was constantly running which you can't hear over the loudest a/c unit I've ever used. the bathroom is terrible... no cover for the light bulb so just bare socket and bulb exposed to a wet/humid environment. I'm sure that is safe.... on top of that... if you do use the shower there are 2 vents in there which would be great if either one of them worked. on top of the cost of the room they still have the nerve to charge you $15 per day and it's not even a guaranteed spot. one of the most irritating things is they charge you an "incidental" fee that was supposed to be refunded after check out....which for me it's been several calls from me, several excuses from staff/management, and still no refund. so with everything the cost for a 2 night stay is at over $200 per night which is absolutely insane for such a garbage room. I honestly can say... avoid this place at all costs.
- 4/5
Very old and somewhat
- 3/5
They wouldn’t allow early check in, first hotel ranch
- 5/5
great place to stay
- 3/5
It was a no frills hotel and not in the greatest neighborhood, but it was clean and comfortable.
- 2/5
There were a lot of undisclosed fees and no parking. The person at the counter made a snide comment to another guest. The bed mattresses were old and uncomfortable.
- 3/5
Continental breakfast is just coffee muffins and cereal
- 1/5
it is in the worst part of town you can imagine. construction right in front of it, essentially, as well. ceiling being sanded right in the middle of the lobby, covering the floor in chalky dust. employee was helpful, manager wouldn't give me my money back for the first night although i checked in and out before check in even began. do not stay here for your own safety and peace of mind.
- 1/5
Room was dirty with Pubic hair everywhere and on the bed. The front desk was rude. I had to watch them remake the bed.
- 2/5
Please check for bed bugs in room 302. I woke up with bumps on my body while staying there and I think it is an incident worth checking. Respectfully
- 2/5
This is an extremely subpar Days Inn. The only redeeming factor is that the room itself was clean. The neighborhood it is in is very sketchy and I wouldn’t leave the hotel at night. They have a parking lot as part of their property, but they charge you to park there. I have stayed at many Days Inns before and they never charged you to park in their parking lot. The lobby just looked worn and dirty, as did the elevator, with food spilled in it and grime and graffiti on the walls. I was on the third floor and in 90° weather the elevator conked out with no alternative to get down other than taking the stairs. Someone had spilled a bowl of cereal on the stairs, so it was gummy and slippery and definitely a falling hazard. The free breakfast offers nothing hot and no fresh fruit. So if you like a questionable muffin, you’ll be all good. Coffee was offered, thank God, but in Styrofoam cups, so definitely not eco-friendly. The people at the front desk were very nice though.
- 5/5
Exactly what we needed and clean
- 4/5
Everything was great except for the exceptionally hard beds. The area is busy but the rooms block the sound very well. Very happy with the stay other than the hard bed.
- 4/5
Hotel parking is limited but seems safe. Room was no frills but comfortable for the night. Chose hotel because it was across the street from the theater so the walk across the street after the concert was ideal and we did get a parking space on the property.
- 3/5
A lot of homeless in the area. Some crazy people on the street. Bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
Good
- 2/5
Location was good. Breakfast was really bad.
- 1/5
Property is a joke, make you pay for parking then if you cant find parking you have to park somewhere else. Certain staff were rude. Asked for a wakeup call didn't get it. Toilet way to smell. Never staying here again
- 2/5
Fairly crappy.
- 5/5
Great check in and across the street from the Fillmore and Ogden!
- 4/5
Parking area was way too small.
- 3/5
They charge me twice for one night.
- 4/5
Overwhelming homeless population and crap construction everywhere. Staff was great and the room is nice.
- 5/5
Only a few minutes from everything
- 4/5
Property and staff were excellent. Issues with the area were outside of their control.
- 3/5
The area around this hotel is rundown and under construction. If you plan to stay at this hotel and sleep past 8am, think again because the road directly in front of the hotel is under construction. There also seems to be an increase in homeless in the area.
- 5/5
Went for a couples date, seen a show at the Ogden Theater, and close by downtown to walk around and bar hop, we actually enjoyed our selves. The bed was comfortable, the room as cleaaan !!! & the area was not bad
- 4/5
Overall the place was nice.
- 4/5
Very friendly and helpful at the front desk! Super clean room and I felt safe. Hotel was right across the way from the venue I was seeing a concert at AND the bus stop I took the next day. Even with the construction, it was accessible. Only thing is that the breakfast was kind of lacking, but everything else makes up for that :)
- 5/5
Staff and service is always great
- 1/5
Crappy parking had to walk around block to get to vehicle. Hotel was 1 step up from homeless shelter. Location was loud. Staff was useless. Had to pay for parking and had to leave deposit because they apparently cater to a rougher clientele
- 1/5
The photos were a very stark contrast to the reality. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel.
- 2/5
I wish I knew that the area was slump!!!
- 2/5
Concert I was going to cancelled and I could not cancel my room, $110 down the drain.
- 1/5
There is bed bugs. As we first went into the room and went for a nap, one of us got bit. Also had to pay for parking, which is in their lot. Gated. Does not make sense. Never booking here again. Even if it’s a last minute trip.
- 2/5
there was hairs on the bed and room looked old mattresses were hard
- 5/5
Good location
- 2/5
Not what they described on their site. Free continental breakfast was muffin and juice. Not a safe place to walk after the sun sets. Not helpful if you have issues.
- 1/5
Beds are horrible, they slant down to the center of bed and not comfy. Breakfast was not great, wouldn't consider it a continental breakfast. Noise level so loud you'll be up all night. In a less than desirable locations. Did not feel safe in room or outside. Had a fist hole in bathroom door
- 3/5
Booked this room as a days inn thinking it was a hotel, it’s not, it’s a motel. It looks ok but when you look closer you can see the wear and tear. It was clean and quiet and slept great there. The sink needed repair and a noise would come from the fridge area every few hours or so that went “KERKLUNK!!!” The whole time. The first time it scared us then we started calling it the fridge ghost, still have no clue what the noise was. Couple shady people around, wouldn’t want to stay alone as a female without my husband but honestly it did its job.
- 5/5
I was iffy about this place at first. Booked it because I was attending a concert at the Ogden Theatre across the street. There is a nightly fee for parking in the secured lot, well worth it. Will stay here again in the future.
- 2/5
Flooring tore up in the hall. No lock on door. Shower needed work done. Even our dog was uncomfortable there. So much road construction hard to find too. Parking was also an issue
- 3/5
Room was good.. Newly renovated. The check in staff was good.. The check out staff in morning was horrible.. It’s was a black guy.. He wanted to charge me a towel for just baby food thing on it.. Telling me the stain won’t come out.. Seriously! Don’t u know how to clean towels..
- 4/5
The property was fine. The only inconvenience was the road construction on the street
- 5/5
The front desk and owner were very helpful. They really came through for me. The room well very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast hit the spot. I will definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
They kept my $100 deposit and accused m smoking in room! Which was not true. Very unhappy! With my stay!
- 3/5
It took forever to get a room but the gentleman t the front was very accommodating to the customers waiting for rooms. Check in is at 3 didn’t get access to my room until nearly 7. Not complaining just informing
- 1/5
This is bad for a Wyndham property. I was refused a refund.
- 2/5
Sink was leaking
- 4/5
It was downtown and it was good service. We slept good
- 3/5
It was a room for the night, and it was totally adequate for the purpose. I was surprised that I had to pay $15 to park my car. Oh, and Google Maps tried to take me in through the back alley and through a fence.
- 3/5
This is a motel, not a hotel. The remodel of the rooms seem very nice. The water was set so low, the water was luke warm. Parking costs $15, not $12 like expedia qouted
- 4/5
I like the price, free parking & breakfast. It was also very quiet
- 2/5
First night their fire alarm system failed at 2am, had to go outside with a bunch of crack heads waiting for the fire department to say it’s ok. Next day the keycard machine on my room door died and had to wait 30min to get in my room… all in all 10/10 would stay again
- 3/5
Overall, the room was clean, but is not something I would recommend to others, or would use again.
- 2/5
Cc
- 5/5
It was ok
- 2/5
First when we arrived our room smelled like cigarettes. We asked to get a new room but unfortunately none were available. Fine. Next day our cards stop working to our room so we had to get new cards. Okay. But why did this happen multiple times throughout our stay, we were locked out and had to get new keys 5 times. Unacceptable. Room and bathroom were dirty stuff coming off the walls. We weren’t comped for a thing.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly but our room was not clean. The floor literally smelled like pee and when we noticed the dirtiness of the floor we all checked out socked and our socks were black underneath. Other peoples stuff was also left in the room.
- 3/5
The area around the property was ... WOW
- 3/5
The person in the room next to me had their TV on very loud all night long. First time I tell the office it was after 10pm. They go to the room and it gets turned down for awhile. Woke me up again at 2am. I went to the front desk and at that time they offer to move me to another room. Says there is nothing they can do about the person in the next room with the loud TV.
- 2/5
I had to leave soonest than planned cause hotel staff knock at my door to move my car
- 1/5
Charged me the $100 deposit for nothing. The room was perfect when I left
- 1/5
Didn’t sleep at all. Crackheads in n out of the room next door every 10 min. A couple crying babies in the same room. Never staying at that place again
- 5/5
Close to where I want to be downtown
- 4/5
Place is ok. For a night, is not safe for family or single people. Hotel was clean and nice. I just around is not good.
- 5/5
It was a very nice stay. Room was extra clean and comfy. I will stay there again.
- 5/5
Very clean.
- 2/5
The renovation took a lot of short cuts, especially with electrical. When I left my cash deposit for incidentals, I was assured that someone would be available when we left at 5:30am, but there was no one for me or the family ahead of me so i had to return later for my deposit.
- 5/5
it was nice
- 1/5
Member of family passed away and refused reschedule booking.
- 5/5
This was a great place located in cap hill. Spite all the traffic and noise it was a clean and quiet place that has a friendly and professional staff. Housekeeping was the best. If I needed towels or anything they were so accommodating.
- 1/5
People were fighting in the parking lot, had to pay for parking. Two men were standing in front of my door for an hour, some lady threatened to shoot the place up.
- 3/5
This was a perfectly reasonable accommodation for the price. I was a bit concerned by the ratings on it but when we got there everything was fine. It is significantly less expensive than the next four or five closest hotels. We were there for a concert and it was directly across from the venue so it made sense. If you are looking for a clean cheap room in downtown Denver, I don't have any complaints. There isn't a ton of parking, but what is available is well lit.
- 2/5
It was a place to stay, that’s it. Location was fine. The room was clean, the air conditioning probably wasn’t I would have horrible allergies only when the air was on. There is a night club next door and loud until late every night. But worse, the $100 deposit required to stay there never got returned even though there was no damage and all we did was sleep there. I would not stay here again
- 5/5
It was really nice! It is downtown and there were many homeless, but none felt threatening and the property felt secure! The room was clean and the staff was super kind. My only "complaint" is that the bed was a standard spring bed so kind of stiff, but it was comfortable enough! The pillows were super soft, everything was clean, including the bathroom! We enjoyed our stay a lot.
- 4/5
The hotel was okay but the area is trash
- 3/5
Had trouble finding my reservation lady at the counter was anything but helpful she was more concerned about getting off work and seeing Mr fine on the bus whoever that breakfast is sparse. rooms are clean
- 2/5
No one cleaned our room during overnight stay
- 1/5
Not so good,we had to leave.
- 2/5
The beds hurt. Breakfast was bad. There was no coffee. Facilities were rundown. In the last seven days we stayed in 5 hotels, this was the worst by far.
- 2/5
Insecure
- 2/5
Over priced for location. Bed was not good.
- 1/5
To many crackheads, and no parking
- 1/5
this should have been way cheaper for how skanky the area was! feel catfished by the pics
- 3/5
The room was bare, sort of sleepy and not particularly clean.
