AC Hotel by Marriott Denver Downtown

No food until 6:00 is not good Valet has no phone. Clunky Fitness sucks. For $300 need steam and locker room Auto blinds broken. Take down the sign. Very hard to raise manually. Painful. Parking and valet way too much. 3 holes in concrete caused my medical scooter to crash. You cant see them??

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Everything was so easy from check in to check out. I felt very comfortable and safe. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the location was perfect.

This hotel is in a great location, quiet, clean and the staff were wonderful and accommodating. I've stayed here twice in the last 6 months and the only thing I would recommend is to have their elevators working. Both times one elevator is always down. Other than that it is a great place to stay!

Staff was friendly. My room was not super clean during my stay. I found a few items under the mattress and there were a few stains on the bathroom floor. Housekeeping came every day but the stains remained all throughout my stay even after mentioning it to the front desk

I like the good customer service, and clean comfortable room.

Three men came to my door about a balance you pay at check out and treated me like I did something illegal. They were invasive and followed me to pay the balance immediately although I did not check out yet. The manager was stumbling on his words and seemed like he didn’t understand and actually gave me the incorrect balance. He lacked communication and confidence considering this was a small inconvenience but not even because I did not check out yet. I will not be returning.

Great location near convention center. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a corner room with a nice view of downtown. We had breakfast in Corrine, the adjacent restaurant, not at the AC Hotel breakfast area. Corrine's food is very good. We also had tapas and drinks at Bar AC, which were very good. The rooftop bar had spectacular views, but was very crowded when we were there. My suggestions for improvement include more hanging space in the closet, more drawers for clothing, bigger night tables by the bed, and more space to lay out luggage. There is space for just 1 suitcase to be opened. Perhaps it is because we had an accessible room and they left room for a wheelchair to maneuver? They brought us a suitcase stand, but it had a back frame which made it unusable with our style of suitcase.

Everything was amazing. The only complaint I have is the bathroom door was a huge glass slab and insanely hard to pull closed.

My husband and I spent a long weekend and this was the perfect location for all of our activities! We saw hockey at Ball Stadium, visited the Denver Art Museum, saw a concert at Red Rocks and a baseball game at Coors Field. This hotel was centrally located, making it so easy to get around town! The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. And the rooms were comfortable and clean. Overall, a great experience!

Upon entering the hotel the staff greeted me with a smile. They were very nice and courteous. The room was clean.

Griffith at the front desk was awesome with my check out taking great care of my bags. And the young Hispanic girl who checked me in on Wednesday night was awesome. She also helped find my Starbucks reusable cup that I accidentally left in the morning next to the coffee urns in reception! I am so grateful. Victoria who retrieved my car was very kind and helpful with my luggage . The hotel is clean and so very quiet. Thank you for an amazing experience. I’ll be back. Thank you !!! ❤️

When i check into my room i realized they gave me the wrong room. I wanted a king cooner with a normal shower they gave me a handicap shower. It gets way worse though. Upon entering our room you could see the windows were very dirty with hand prints and face prints it looked like people had sex on the windows.i asked them to clean it right away ans that i would be gone for 2 hours. When we came back it still wasnt clean. I asked then to clean it again. After about an hour i check and they still havent cleaned it.. its now 11 at night we are ready for bed. But i ask them again pleaseeee clean our windows we paid good money for the window view and our whole night we couldnt enjoy it. I was very unhappy the windows wernt clean until after 11.. i will not be back to this property unless something is done for our troubles

Disappointed in AC hotels with this location. I was always a fan in the brand until experiencing the worst service and the dirtiest room I have ever seen in all of my hotel history! Room wasn’t clean, front desk staff lied about room availability and charged extra fees for a mistake they made!! Wouldn’t stay here again.

They did not clean our rooms after being gone all day. Had to call and someone came to clean after 9 pm.

Paid extra for a corner unit expecting a view. Sadly, nothing to see but some minor construction across the street. Room was clean but had an odor. Check-in was less than warm and welcoming. Okay for one night, but would look for a better option for an extended stay.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities! I love the rooftop, the view from my room, the cleanliness of the space, and the location was very walkable and perfect. There’s a target, Walgreens, Ross and so many other convenient shopping options a block or a few away. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here on our Colorado trip. This is a great hotel with lots of great ambiance and amenities. Very clean and well kept. The staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. The food in the restaurant is great! As is the service. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed in a room meant for two people, but only one towel was provided. This was very inconvenient. Additionally, the staff member at check-in was rude, which left a negative impression at the start of my stay.

They billed me twice and have not yet refunded my double charge. Very inappropriate- check in needs better training. To charge nearly 300.00 without noticing the error is shocking.

Great property conveniently located to all the interesting neighborhoods in Denver. Great roof top bar and clean rooms. Ours was a short stay in Denver so perfect for us but if you’re traveling with lots of luggage, it’s a bit challenging to find any suitcase area other than the floor. Maybe a luggage rack perhaps??

The AC Hotel was excellent, room was very clean with friendly staff and great downtown location. Walking distance to restaurants and stadium. The only parking that was offered due to remodeling of their parking building was valet for $65 per day, but we found a public self parking next door for $20.35 per day. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone.

We were visiting from East Tennessee. Only here a few days to explore. We fell in love with Denver immediately. We met one of the nicest managers and bartender while there. We were greeted by a female manager who helped us with info about valet parking. She was the absolute nicest employee we’ve encountered at a hotel. We loved the hotel style and vibe so much. Everything was clean. All employees were polite and made check in a breeze. We loved the views and atmosphere in the 54thirty rooftop bar. It was a littlw busy so we went downstairs to the bar closest to Corrine. The female bartender working was so nice and gave us great recommendations for local dinner spots. We actually chose to eat on property at the restaurant and it was delicious! One of the best ribeye’s I’ve ever had. Loved loved loved the food. When we checked out this morning we said this would be the only place we will ever stay when we come to Denver. Close to everything you’d want to do in the city, clean, over the top friendly staff, great drinks, great food, very affordable.

Fun and convenient place to stay. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Many dining and drink options.

Everything was great, but I asked to not service my room, and put up the Do Not Disturb sign, but they still entered the room. It was a surprise.

The only two negative things that I will say are parking. Your vehicle is not very convenient and expensive also even with being on the 12th floor the noise at night from downtown traffic came through our windows. Luckily I had a white noise machine to cancel it out. I would still recommend staying here just plan on budgeting an extra $60-$70 a day for parking

Parking was the fist issue we encounter! Couldn't figure out which parking garage AC hotel used. No signage & email received prior did not provide address, just cross street. AC hotel vs. Le Meridian was confusing since it was one in the same building, but seperate check-in desks. Room was okay for a king classic. Somewhat odd layout with the bathrrom sink being divided from the bed by a partial mirror. Nothing was above and beyond. It functioned alright for one night sleep. Roof Top bar had great views but closed down at mid-night , as did the AC Lounge, which was a little disappointing since we want to stay on sight after returning from our event. Over all it was alright, but nothing that drives me to stay there again.

Parking is a nightmare if you self park and come after their valet is done for the day. Self parking in general is as inconvenient as any hotel I have stayed at, especially for 50/day. Morning coffee in lobby is a plus, but another weird thing, no tea set up with coffee.

The staff at the AC were all amazing! Great rooms, great valet service and great location! Highly recommend.

The staff was nice and helpful. The parking was very inconvenient, you park kitty corner to the hotel and still pay $50 a night. The hotel is in a good location to walk to a lot of different areas like Coors field, Union Station, Larimer Square etc.

Incredible Hotel. You get access to one of the nicest rooftop bars in Denver. Great area for going out in Denver. The gym was also incredible for a hotel level gym - Amazing free weights and tons of machines. We'll definitely stay here again if we return to Denver.

We are not normally interested in staying in the city but enjoyed the view, the roof top bar, and walking to dinner. Everyone was very friendly.

LOBBY WAS CLEAN AND NICE, BUT IT ALWAYS SMELT OF FISH. IT WAS SO LOUD ALL NIGHT AND HMELESS USING NEEDLED ON SIDEWALK. THE ROOM WAS SO SMALL AND I THOUGHT WE HAD AN UPGRADED ROOM SO THAT DISSAPOINTED BE FROM START. IT WAS FINE, JUST WONT STAY THERE AGAIN.

Some localities around the country have explicitly outlawed this tactic, but why are they engaging in this crap? The hotel was very clean, the room was appointed in a better than average manner. Otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating. I purposely used no extra services in the hotel in retaliation. I hope the hotel understands the $25 you were trying to lift out of my pocket was not worth reviews like this.

They sent us to a different hotel over 25 minutes away, completely ruining our plans to stay downtown. The next day, Luckas, the front desk manager, offered a $25 credit and drink vouchers, which we never used. The Uber cost more than the credit, and we don’t even drink — so the offer felt completely tone-deaf and dismissive. No genuine apology. No urgency. No accountability. They even refused a late checkout. Both managers handled the situation poorly. Alison avoided us completely and passed the message off to another employee. It was an awful way to be treated after spending that much money and traveling so far. If you expect your reservation to be honored, do not trust this hotel.

Fantastic stay!

Overall enjoyed my stay and was a good location for what I wanted to do. Didn’t love the “open concept” for the bathrooms which was just the toilet and shower in separate rooms and then the sink was basically right next to the bed. Not a ton of privacy and honestly just an excuse to make the room smaller and pretend they’re being creative about it. Also make sure you’re aware that on top of the cost of the room, they’re going to charge you $25/day which you can use in their bars, restaurants, rooftop or little gift shop. But annoying you’re getting automatically charged for this

Very nice hotel. Was a bit mad that they offered military discount for parking to our friends but when we asked about it they just told us they don’t.

Rooms, although on the smaller side, are well laid out, functional and clean. The Hotel is connected to a Le Meridien Hotel with a nice bar, hangout space and really good restaurant.

It was a ok. The staff was amazing. The only thing I can say is the beds I need updated.
