Otherwise the Property is good, it’s very dated the inside of the rooms! Some rooms have Microwave's & some do not, NOT OK! But it’s CLEAN & the Front Desk Staff is GREAT!

After purchasing this reservation months in advance, upon arriving, the supervisor asked me to tap my card for a $20 incidental "hold" charge that would incur each day. After doing this, I was charged $240 dollars. She said I needed to tap my card (3 more times I did this with each time saying "Approved" on the device) to which she assured me that the hold is only $20 per day. It is now 4 days after I checked in and over a day since I've left and still have $261 on "hold" against my checking account (3 separate holds for $1, $20, and $240. ) After calling the property, the assistant general manager told me that the general manager is out of town on a conference but she can e-mail him to see if he has time to authorize a release on the money they should have never taken in the first place. I'll get an e-mail from her I was told when she hears back from him..... If this is how Mariotts are run, they have now lost my business forever. The staff here does not care about inconveniencing their customers with horrendous overcharging nor take immediate action when it occurs to solve it. They wait for the complaint then yell at you on the phone that they can't do anything about it and will get back to you whenever.

Location, free parking, many restaurants and shopping malls nearby. For the price, was expecting a little more class and functionality. Basically looks like a converted apt building. No complementary coffee. No microwave in the room. Cafeteria pricing was high. No enough hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes.

Perfect location for me. Dissapointed there was no breakfast. Awesome pool. Lovely room, very clean. No morning staff to help with luggage cart to check out. I will choose this hotel again and again!

I didn't like the discontinuation of complimentary breakfasts to include pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage , scrambled eggs, etc. This trip you lost customers from 3 rooms. Need a hot tub with pool.

I had to change my room in the middle of my stay because someone booked a kid's pool party in the room right next to me. In the room I was moved to, I needed to call the front desk, and the phone didn't work.

Liked coffee pot in room. Also liked lamps and roll out table. Was breakfast included? Not mentioned at checkout. I was on first floor facing parking lot, and loud truck revving late at night and early morning.

Room was very comfortable, excellent shower The Bistro restaurant, the person running it was very difficult to understand, we ate here twice the food was not good. I tried to order the grilled chicken sandwich from the menu, instead we got a deep fried chicken sandwich, it was nasty, my wife could not finish hers . Breakfast the next morning was no better, the burrito was bland, no flavor,

Clean comfortable room & bed, pillows. Was greeted at check in with lovely lady who was friendly and helpful with directions to our early appointment the next morning. She even put us down for late sign out in case we were running late for appointment & could go back to pack up afterwards. We didn’t use the late checkout but did appreciate the kind offer. Will definitely recommend this hotel!

Needed to leave a night early. Expedia was happy to accommodate but hotel was completely unempathetic and would not work with us. Don’t stay here if you need any level of flexibility. Rooms also smelled super musty.

When making reservation i put in a request if not elevator access i would need a 1st floor room due to my handicap. When checking in they said they never received my request & they didnt have a room on 1st floor. I paid room up front and when i arrived it was late. Then they tell you to reuse your towels to keep the cost down no room service until you check out. I can say it was quiet, confrontable bed, tv channels was not good and the ice machine was at the end of the floor and around the corner.i will never go back.

The bathroom door was locked - had to have someone open it. Light by bed was out. Clock could not be set. Bed was very uncomfortable. Had to pay for coffee. It was dated. Not what I expected from a Marriott

After flight delays and a 3:00 AM arrival

The hote didn't have an elevator, and I moved all luggage with my children to the second floor. I had booked a room for 5 people and they gave me tw0 queen beds. I slept on the floor for two nighs.

Absolutely unhelpful staff and rude. Claimed the room slept five and it definitely did not, refused to give us a rollaway bed so we had to buy another room when we arrived. No discount. Refrigerators in both rooms did not work, no microwave in one room, had to go back and forth to heat food. Charged $85 for one 3 minute phone call. Pool was discusting. Will not return!

Nice property

We wanted a room in 1st floor since the elevator was not working or not available. Room we got allotted was a easy access room. When we entered the room it was smelling very bad. Since we had just 4 hours in the midnight to get rest and vacate we did not followup with the staff to get this fixed. I wish we had a better room.

Stayed at this location last minute, very clean and friendly service! Beautiful lounge area as well.

Overall I was pleased with the stay; however, the entrance was not well lit and there were no towels in the pool area either time that we went.

We were in the room mainly to sleep and get ready to spend lime with our son and his family. The room served us well, clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Enjoyed the in room coffee.

It’s an older property that could use a remodel but is extremely well kept up and clean. The rooms are large and comfortable. The gym was clean with working equipment. The staff is friendly and helpful.

3rd stay here always treat us well

Above average in cleanliness, stayed 5 days, no maid service on Saturday, limited staff, but everyone was doing their best. The layout of the hotel & rooms is a bit odd. It's the end of the swim season, but it was in the 90's all week. They opened the pool area for me. Decent area, felt safe there. When I called the main 1-800 number, they said they had an elevator, but there's none.

I don’t like the staff

Room was nice, bed was comfortable, climate control was accurate, furniture was comfortable.Negatives-there was no body lotion/moisturizer and the walls are pretty thin, easy to hear what was going on in the rooms next to mine.

Nice property and excellent staff. This Marriott property could use some updates and it appeared that the inside lobby was more updated than the outside of the property. Courtyard was very nice. Rooms were average. My only issues were with the in room AC - smelled musty and not right. Stayed all week and loud party group a few doors down. Upgrade the landscaping outside and around back. The laundry facility needs to be updated to use credit cards versus coins. Great value and love to see more upgrades to this property.

But Staff was excellent and everything was clean, so it was great for a no nonsense work trip.

They breakfast we paid for and never received another matter. Breakfast was to start at 6:30am and we waited for 15 minutes in line behind 4 people before we even SAW an employee. One person already in the restaurant was given a bagel at our 25 minute mark, but no one in line even had an order taken. At that rate, we figured breakfast may have taken us 2 hours and we decided to leave the hotel for breakfast elsewhere. No other staff came to help or tell us what was going on despite 2 guys at the front desk, unoccupied. We couldnt even get a cup of coffee. So much for paying Marriott the higher rate for breakfast!

We liked the location, on the second day we came back around 11:30pm the bed was not make, coffee supplies weren’t replenish

Oversold and had no rooms. Never contacted me but had email address (they sent confirmation) and I did online early check-in (which according to them means nothing because they are a franchisee.) Gave me the name of nearby Marriotts but would not assist in rebooking or try to help get rate honored. All of this at 9 PM.

My family really liked the staffing and it's got a really nice warm pool for the kids.

We came into town to visit Chicago, but we didn’t want to stay in the city. This location was perfect for us. They are close to a train station (the MD-N line), and they have a shuttle to take you anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel. We had our car and didn’t need the shuttle, but it’s a nice feature. The hotel has a Starbucks that is only open for breakfast. If you don’t choose that option when you reserve, you can order and pay a la carte on the spot. Their little market of snacks and such came in handy for us more than once. We didn’t find a chance to hang out at the pool, but the indoor pool looked mighty inviting! It was the perfect option for us.

Booked a room for family visiting from out of town. The process was easy, the cost was fair, and the accommodations were great. My family commented on the quality of the breakfast. Breakfast is not free but can be added to the room reservation at little extra cost (per day).

Staff was professional and nice. Property needs a spruce. Mattress was terrrible! One of the most uncomfortable beds I have had at a hotel. And the bedding felt overused. Not a great place for a comfy good night sleep.
