    Perhaps it's just me, but I thought the Double Tree brand was considered 4 stars? The lobby and surrounding area, as with most hotels, was updated and clean. However, the bathroom ceiling in our room had water damage and cracks. The bathroom only had one light switch. No exhaust fan, no separate dim light for late night bathroom goers, and the faucet only allowed for a quarter inch difference between cool water and boiling hot. The door to the room had a significant gap underneath, which allowed for hallway light to enter the room. We had to put our luggage down to block the light to allow the kids to sleep. It just wasn't all that much different from the Hampton Inn. Good location though, friendly staff, and convenient location. Howard, our server at breakfast (included in the price btw, very nice) was great. Breakfast was very good, much better then what you'd get at the Hampton Inn.

    We had to switch rooms because the room next door was smoking, even though it was a smoked free room. Because we changed rooms, we noticed how big the second room was. And that changed made us happy. I also like the texted method for customer service. I booked it because it was 12 minutes from an event that we are attending, and we had great experiences with Hilton. We had an issue with the television and after they send the second technician, we were instructed that every time we turned off the TV that we had to manually set up on the tv (and not on remote control) with at three steps to turn on source, then 3 more steps to turn on volume, before we can watch anything, and before we can use the remote control. Also I am use to downloading my paid apps and putting my own username and password to watch apps that I prefer. I could not do this at this hotel.

    The staff are very friendly, but the room is very neglected; hygiene standards are very poor—the sheets were dirty, and the air conditioning didn't cool enough, so the room felt hot. Furthermore, when I arrived, I was told I had to pay $50 per night to park my car outside. They really should mention this beforehand; I have stayed at other hotels and haven't been charged for parking.

    Absolutely terrible experience. The rooms were extremely old and poorly maintained. The carpet was stained, sticky, and looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The furniture was outdated and falling apart, and the TV was not even working during the entire stay. The worst part was the strong mold odor as soon as you walked into the room. There was visible mold in multiple areas and dust everywhere, making the room feel dirty and unhealthy. I had to change rooms twice hoping things would improve, but both rooms had similar problems. Unfortunately, I was stuck staying there because there was no availability at other hotels for the dates I needed. Otherwise, I would have left immediately. Very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the money.

    (All in my opinion). Upon arrival we were given a king bed when I reserved a room for two beds. Had to go back to switch to the correct room and come to find out the shower didn’t work and no hot water to boot. Had to go back to the desk and get the first room again. Of course, the hot water was a hotel issue but the next morning the counter person said it was a city issue too. Don’t think the city supplies hot water, just the water. Also reserved this room thru Expedia which said all taxes and fees included. However, the hotel charges $15 a night for parking. Someone needs to get it straight. One thing if I know about parking fees up front, but being told on site is another. Also the carpets had a lot of stains. Would I go back? Definitely not. I don’t recommend their services! Thank you!

    It took me asking 4 times to get an iron...they now charge for parking. The attendants were not very knowledgeable...and 6 follars for a cup of coffee is ridiculous. I have been here 5 times in 8 years, i will not come back to Doubletree Boca Raton. Very disappointing.

    The entire property is tired and unimaginative. Smells everywhere. Rooms smell the worst. I should have believed all the reviews I read before booking. There's a theme. Carpets, walls, furniture all well beyond their service life. Ate at the restaurant twice. Got sick after the first meal, chalked it up to stress. Got sick after the second meal the next day. Not stress. Hotel should be closed for a major refit. Can't believe EXPEDIA has this on their site

    We asked for a cart for our luggage. We had to leave a drivers license to get it. We were never asked if we needed help with luggage but we got the cart. I understand that they wanted the cart back for use by other guests but the process makes you feel like they didn’t trust you.

    I was really impressed with the staff and the atmosphere. Our room was spotless and beautifully appointed. While I would highly recommend staying here for the comfort and hospitality, I would advise dining out to enjoy better quality food. The restaurant was overpriced for the sub-par food we received.

    They need to hire more people for the evening shift we had to wait 15 minutes before somebody can check us in we ask for extra bed. It was not available. We ask for a blanket. It was not available. Definitely you need to have some extra blankets available in the evening otherwise the location is great and the hotel is good.

    Well, first off the accommodations are not what they say. They’re going to be I paid for a king suite then I got there and they tell me Expedia overbooked them so they put me in a double queen while I get into that room the refrigerator didn’t work and there were small ants crawling all around in the bathroom so we get transferred to another double queen we got in that room then the AC didn’t work so we had to get transferred to another room. It was just terrible all around. You paid this outrageous price to be put in a dump. Their staff did not help fix the situation at all and it’s false advertisement they shouldn’t be making you pay for something when you’re not even gonna receive those accommodations.

    We disliked: No TV channels working in the room, 0nly one elevator working. had to pay $15 PARKING extra hidden charge. Prepaid for breakfast, was not complementary. Had to pick up tickets to eat breakfast. Each ticket value at $19. Everything on the menus was Absurdly overpriced. Hot chocolate $5, eggs $16, the horrible Belgian waffle $14 etc.etc etc.Two hot chocolates, two Belgian waffles and one French toast Total $60. How sad to know this kind of deception is happening with Double Tree by Hilton. I could have taken my family to Denny's and had twice as much food for less and tasted 100% better I am really upset about this will be reporting this to higher management.

    I'm a Hilton honors member and I thoroughly enjoy stay. Checkin was simple. I went with my family and my daughter immediately went for the pool. Sangria's by the pool, nice lounge chairs, lush landscaping definitely enjoyed. The bedding was amazing, I slept peacefully on that bed. Howard at the on site restaurant was absolutely amazing. I give him 5 stars. Absolutely attentive!!!!

    Upon checkin, one room had clothing in the closet from a previous guest. The other room had a clogged sink which could not be fixed, and our room had to be changed. The next day, there was a toilet issue in the 3rd room. It was remedied, but took most of the day. There was garbage in the halls in plastic bags-housekeeping should have carts, so guests do not have to see barbage bags. TV service was awful! Regular TV was not accessible in any of the rooms. Pluto was available, but every few minutes there was a glitch. The hotel did say they were having issues.     It’s the only hotel in the region that charges for parking. The bother of registering the car as belonging to someone staying at the hotel is a nuisance not required by any other hotel nearby. So in the future I will stick to staying at one of those other hotels.

    Booked based on reviews. It was a quick trip... Arrived at 930pm, and was leaving at 830am. Check in was easy and quick. Was asked if I had a vehicle, however, was never given information that i needed to scan a QR code and pay for parking. All but one elevator was down. Cable was out due to a pipe bursting. My room was clean as far as bed. Bathroom- I wore my flip flops in the shower because it was not clean. under the sink area was gross and never cleaned. There was hair on the ceiling... wall paper covered burn marks and what looked like bugs... I was so tired that i didn't want to wait on the one elevator working to go down and complain.

    There were several issues with the shower. The drain was clogged so I showered in standing water, There was mold in the shower in several places, the conditioner dispenser was torn off the shower wall by a previous guest and not reattached (just sitting on the shower shelf. All of this was sent with photos to the hotels general manager and I heard nothing back. I guess that they know or just don't care. I stay with Hilton all the time when I travel. Never going back to this property.

    I don’t even know where to begin. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We paid over $700 for a two-night stay, plus $55 per guest per day for parking, which is outrageous in itself. But the condition of the hotel was beyond unacceptable. Let’s start with the toilet seat, which looked like it had been chewed by a dog—completely damaged and filthy. The shower was covered in dirt and thick soap scum, making it feel like a health hazard rather than a place to get clean. The couch was stained and soiled, and the sofa bed had sheets with yellow stains that were so disgusting we couldn’t let anyone sleep on it. We had to go out and buy an air mattress for our guest to avoid having them sleep in filth. This is an old, outdated hotel with no signs of renovation, which would be fine if they at least kept it CLEAN. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, especially at this price point. I voiced my concerns to management and, to their credit, they waived $117 off the bill—but that didn’t come close to making up for the horrible conditions we endured. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. It’s not worth the money, the stress, or the disappointment. I wish I could give zero stars.

    The lamp on the vanity in the main room area did not work. The ironing board wouldn't sit correctly. The Iron had stuff on the ironing surface and had I not realized it, it would have ruined my dress.

    Highly disappointing. Service is that of a 2 star hotel. No etiquette or front desk manners! Lacking experience and professionalism! Guests were loud in hallways, AC took a while to cool, bed was uncomfortable, room/bathroom looks outdated, carpets are old!

    The water from the tub and sink made the entire room reek of chlorine. The floor was “crunchy” and the AC barely worked. It’s very sad that they let what used to be a great hotel go down so far. I would never stay here again.
