Breakfast was standard but good. Room was a comfortable temperature. Bed was comfortable. The ice machines didn’t work/were non existent. TV was really limited.

This is an affordable option and conveniently located, staff is friendly, rooms are clean, breakfast is offered. I’ve stayed here twice within the last few months and I would say both experiences were great.

The room was clean. The property is safe and clean! The staff is helpful. We enjoyed the morning breakfast as well! It’s worth the stay!

My room on the ground floor was damp and musty. Only one regular coffee in the room and the creamer was chunky. Breakfast included turkey bacon that was terrible, but the eggs, pancakes, and the rest were fine.

I worked with Kona and she was amazing. I was flying from Canada and I was so scared I forgot my bank card and ID in Canada. She was wonderful she insured me with a solution and made it possible. She even went out of my way to help me fix my suitcase. She amazing!!! The best staff and always smiling and friendly.

My stay here was well accommodating the front desk assistant name Mr.Kadeem was very helpful we ran into a lil issue and he was able to assist us and got it sorted out he was very polite and friendly thank you so much we will be back for another visit soon oh and the breakfast was amazing full service nothing short of a full service meal once again thank you for everything….,,Blessss

It would’ve been nice to have coffee during the daytime. For instance, when you stay at other hotels, they always have that. The elevators smelled bad and there were chunks missing out of the flooring. The room, however, was clean and well organized. The staff was very standoffish and did not answer questions. The breakfast was fairly minimal. We did not get a wake up call we asked for.

Good price, but you get what you pay for. Leaky faucet in tub ran all night and lots of rust. Breakfast not great, but fine. Staff is helpful.

The staff were amazing! This isn't a 5 star resort, by any means. But, it is clean and has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful stay. I found the room to be modern and very clean. No complaints! I would stay here again.

The breakfast was not what I expected: the buffet was incomplete, there was no variety of yogurt, no eggs, and the scrambled eggs were cold. The selection of ham and cheese was meager, and by 8:30 AM, the spread was practically empty. I also found the parking area to be unsafe, with unsavory-looking people loitering in the vicinity. The housekeeper kept knocking on the room door outside of cleaning hours. On the second day, she became annoyed because we hadn't yet vacated the room, even though we asked her to wait just 10 minutes. On the third day—our day of departure—she arrived at 10:00 a.m., even though I had until 11:00 a.m. to check out.

Was ok but needs a lamp or light near sofa. Can’t read at night when sun goes down . Breakfast was cold n could not eat. As we were leaving she brought out hot eggs n bacon but we had to leave. Good but needs a bit more..,,

Parking was very safe, room was clean and bed super comfortable. Also it was very quiet at night time and allowed me to get some good sleep. Breakfast with hot and cold drinks plus bagels and some fresh fruit was a plus!

Place sounds like it would be more of a high end type hotel but really need updating. Better off staying next door at the Best Western sister hotel

I stayed here for 3 nts. The hotel itself is a bit run down, but my room was decent: with a balcony (facing the parking lot, lol), comfortable beds, small fridge, microwave, TV although the entertainment center that the TV was on, was facing the door? not the beds or the couch which was weird, so I had to move the whole thing to face the beds to watch TV and the breakfast was good 👍. The pool looked a bit unkept & they did had a hot tub next to the pool. Idk if I’d stay here again, probably not.

I was pleasantly surprised with the place. The rooms have been updated, but it’s just pretty good it doesn’t feel outdated. The pool & hot tub are also better than average, but the staff at the front desk was excellent. I had business to do they shredded papers for me and printed out things for free. Breakfast staff was excellent, just in general the staff makes up for whatever they lack in amenities.

When I left Upon arrival I asked the front desk if I could cancel Sunday night if I needed to and was told yes. Let them know by Sunday morning and it is ok to cancel. Sunday morning I was told it was too late but they were going to ask their manager and they would contact me. I had an emergency and needed to go back home to Tallahassee Sunday morning so I left. I still have not been contacted. Terrible service and the hotel room smelled like mildew and mold. I’ll never stay there again

What a terrible place to stay! Bugs that were dead in the elevator for days, cracks in the walls. musty rooms. Mold on the door frame and calk in the bathroom. Holes in the bathroom tile. I asked who was staying next to me and my young daughter and they said “workers”. I didn’t want to inquire more. I ended up leaving early because of this.

Free breakfast with many breakfast choices. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Soaps, shampoo and lotion were very nice products. The hotel is very close to the road thus very noisy from the road traffic. hotel is older, but appeared newly painted. Sliding door that closed bathroom from sleeping area was heavy, and didn’t fully close. There were areas that needed maintenance, the pool was either dirty or needed to be painted. I would stay again only if I couldn’t find something else in my budget.

The breakfast was included with your stay. It consisted of fresh scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, assortment of bagels, bread and English muffins. They had cereal, yogurt, fresh coffee and a waffle station. Everything was fresh and delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk was friendly and very helpful. Definitely will stay there again.

The rooms have been partially renovated with new floors and furniture, but not bathtubs and wall tiles. Overall, the hotel is a bit tired. Pool floor needs refinishing.

Property in need of attention!! Rooms in need of attention. Our welcome gift for a 9 day stay were two cookies in a plastic sleeve. Breakfast room attendants made the food pleasant.

We got there super late - really the early AM of the next morning. However, we called that night to advise the night staff of this and they confirmed our reservation and had everything ready to go for us when we got there. Super kind and helpful to our tired crew who had driven almost all night.

Worth noting it is not by any stretch of the imagination in Deerfield Beach. In fact is not even on the road in to Deerfield which is Hillsboro (mind you the main drag of Deerfield is an overcrowded nightmare with nowhere to park and queues at all the eateries)

I booked this hotel on Expedia as a 19 year old. I arrived in town for a concert around 1 pm after traveling 4 hours from home and was told I couldn’t check in due to my age. I was told if I came back with someone over the age of 21 they would allow me to check in. I came back after the concert with a friend who was also in town and was staying at the Hyatt in West Palm Beach. The hotel denied letting the person check in on my behalf. Thank goodness I had a friend in town and could stay at their hotel or I would have been sleeping in my car. The hotel would not make any accommodations and they refused to refund my reservation. I’ve tried to speak with the manager, with Best Western, and with Expedia. Lesson learned to stay away from this chain and Expedia for reservations in the future. There are no safeguards in place to keep these kind of mistakes from happening.

No closet, noisy location, older and tired

Had to stay because everything else in area was booked. Not a great location as not many good restaurants around. I smelled pot as I walked up to lobby. This place is worn….lobby not too bad. Elevator door opened and the floor is duct taped and dirty. Garbage cans and ash trays in public spaces dirty. Room had one small light bulb hanging from ceiling that barely lit room when light switch turned on. It was probably so you could not see how dingy the room was. I never took off my socks the entire night. Bed looked clean so it was ok to sleep but skipped shower as it just did not look clean. Chose another place to stay. I would not recommend to anyone. Of course I skipped the free breakfast but there were people in the breakfast room eating.

The room was a little bit weary; there was a large gap between the door and the wall and some of the furniture was chipping. Also, the staff was not particularly friendly. Also, I were charged a $50 fee for early check in.

I had requested a room on the ground floor but they were all taken. The clerk was very accommodating trying to get me a room that was close to the elevators and easy in and out.The online check in was easy as well. Comfortable room, good breakfast, clean but some areas could use a bit of attention such as the elevator floors, our bath shower.

Room size was good. Relatively clean. The couch was blue. The TV was on when we came in. The microwave was flashing 44 seconds because it hadn’t been cleared. We had to ask for extra pillows. The bed was extremely uncomfortable because it bowed on the side near the wall. The bathroom had a pocket door, which was very difficult to open and close.

Toni Ann was very professional and accommodating to our wedding party. I understand it was Valentine's weekend but it was definitely over priced. And for it to be listed as a suite it was the size of a standard room.

The curtain over the window allows in so much light around it, even with every light out in the room it feels like daylight in there. The pool is filthy. The noise level is off the charts as the freeway is the backyard and with no seal around the door and flimsy windows it does not allow you to sleep…. And that is before the ancient A/C unit kicks in waking you from any sleep you may be able to sink into. However, the staff is very nice and the place is very clean. Very tired, but clean.

My entire trip was canceled due to ice and snow in NC…out of my control. The airlines and car rental were both refunded and I will continue to do business with these companies. Deerfield Suites, however, refused to work with me and no refund. I will no longer do business with BW.

Cons, ceiling damage, couldn’t find a happy medium with air unit and the coffee for the room is terrible, very terrible. But I will return, those items aren’t enough to make it negative.

However, the place was old and didn’t seen to be renovated, for e.g. the toilet and flash had issue and couldn’t be repaired easily by them. Also we have noticed some insects from time to time in the room or the bathroom.

Food was okay, but inconsistent. Definitely a first come situation. You better be eating by 730! You will not have fruits, maybe apples will be left. Never experienced this at BW before. Quite disappointed. Was quiet, bed was comfortable, microwave and fridge in room. Only 2 ice machines main and second level.

This is more personal preference statement. I believe the scrambled eggs are made from powder and that the sausage patties have very high levels of fillers. I have experience this multiple times in the past and it does not mean I'm really dinging you, I just feel that it's average

It was a good stay overall. The staff was courteous, bed was comfortable but pillows are too small, the noise from nearby traffic wasn't too bad. We liked the breakfast as well, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The location was perfect for our purposes. The main concern is the high humidity in the room. It made our belongings feel wet/moist and, even if it's not an emergency, our personal appearance was also affected. This adds a smell of humidity to the room that was really noticeable when we arrived the first time, and when we'd leave and return to the room. We'd return to this hotel if needed, but definitely better prepared to possibly have to deal with this factor. Hopefully it's fixed by then.

The room was ok. The location gave you lots of options for food and activities. The bathroom could use some updates. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was average, nothing special. Cereal, oatmeal, different pastries and bread options. Prices were a little high but there were a lot of activities going on this weekend so it was expected even though not appropriated.

The facilities need improvement. The rooms aren't the most comfortable, and the organization isn't the best. There was a strange smell in the room, and we even found a cockroach.The AC and mattresses were making sounds.

The food was good just not many choices. The room was clean and comfortable to sleep in and good water pressure and hot water was hot. Would be happt to stay there again.

This property is pat it's time. Would not recommend to anyone. Best West is now questionable.

This place is a hidden gem! It's right off the interstate but kind of tucked away. It has everything you need for a great budget hotel if you want a clean, quiet place that won't break the bank. It is definitely an older hotel, but the rooms are nicely renovated. The room was clean, and the bed was decently comfortable. The AC was cold and the shower HOT which was great! The staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was great with hot and cold options!! There was lots of parking. Our only complaint was the coffee. We definitely appreciate having complimentary coffee both in the room and downstaris at breakfast, but it was 100% lacking in the flavor department. Overall, for a budget hotel, this one shines. We took a chance on booking this one, and we would definitely stay here again.

Nice Property

The price for this hotel was extremely low, so you have to wonder why. Its an outdated building and could use some investment in upkeep. That said, none of the other issues you might find at a low cost hotel are present. The staff is great, especially front desk. They are very responsive and even have maid service every day. The room is very clean, comfortable bed, quiet. Parking is easy and convenient. They have a great free breakfast in the morning. Better than a Hampton Inn. In fact, overall I would say this feels like a big name hotel experience in a moderately run down building. I highly recommend over anything else in this price range.

The service is excellent, I really appreciated staff members Kadeem and Whitney. Rooms are clean and spacious. Housekeeping does a great job. Breakfast is wonderful, fruit and eggs and pastries, along with cheeses and meats. A much better establishment than expected. I would highly recommend and return.

No hot water the a/c made so much noise that I could not sleep. I have to go back to Deerfield for another weeks of training and I will not be staying there.

Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and well stocked and clean. Did have to kill a cockroach but no other issues.

The room was very comfortable and the hot breakfast was pretty good. Staff was nice. I left something of value and important in my room after I left. They called me when they found it and I was able to return to get it. Honest people.

It really sucks because online it looks like a nice quiet place. The customer service here is very poor. The vending machines are full of expired food. Only 1 functional elevator. No accommodation for early or late check out regardless if they are in the wrong. The staff creates unsafe walking conditions by spraying water all over the stairs and walkways during the day. Also with the ongoing renovations there are also trip hazards from pieces of concrete throughout the parking lot. The hotel will also charge your card for unexplainable reasons without notification. The manager takes no accountability cause he pushes any issues or conflicts off on the front desk attendants. I was here for 4 days/3 nights and it was a big mistake! Take your hard earned money else where people. Overall there was one nice attendant, but he can only attempt to do what is above his means. Kareem was great.

Dirty outdated noisy

Conveniently located right off the highway. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean but needs to be renovated. It is very outdated compared to other hotels. It’s good for a night but I can’t see staying for an extended amount of time.

Flight was a red eye, so I checked in at 1:30am. The first room had a huge gap under the door for bugs and lizards to enter, so they switched me. Second room had the same. Third room had a strong chemical odor, but it was now almost 3 am and I was exhausted. Next day I asked for a refund and to cancel remaining 4 days and they told me I couldn't. Bought snacks and a rootbeer out of the vending machine and everything was expired. Wasted money. Had to extend my trip one day, but definitely didn't stay there the last night. Went to the Marriott!!!

Within being in the room (309) for 1/2 hour we saw roaches. They were terrible, I had to take a pill just to be able to sleep.

We stopped at the Boca Suites in Deerfield for 5 nights prior to our cruise since the friends that we had planned stay with had come down with a respiratory illness. It was a little our of the way from Port Everglades, but it was very quiet and reasonably priced considering it was Spring Break week!!! We took the TriRail Train and the Deerfield station was only about 2 miles from the Hotel. The only disappointing thing is that we did not have a shuttle to/from the hotel even to the train station 2 miles away and were delayed to get back in time for the earlier train that we planned to use to get to the port.

We had a lovely poolside room. The hot tub was hot, although there didn't seem to be a way to run jets. The complimentary breakfast was decent, including some eggs and sausage and a wafflemaker on top of typical continental fare.

The property is certainly an older Best Western. The outside has not really been updated, but the rooms inside have. My only cleanliness complaint was the floors should have been mopped/wet-jetted - I only had my socks off for a short time and my feet were so dirty I put them back on. The stay was fine, for the price and overnight I needed.

Walls need to be better cleaned or replaced the tiles. The sliding door to the bathroom also needs service and the shower heads also would leak if you don’t then the knob very hard. The bed mattress also should be changed to new ones. I enjoyed my stay however it wa convenient for a quick trip

You get what you pay for, nothing super exciting. Just your basic needs met, I was glad to see it was clean. Was ok for a night or two nothing special.

Our room was clean, and the employees were very polite and friendly. But just adding a grab bar in the tub and next to the toilet doesn’t make it accessible. Plus the toilet should be elongated and the height is questionable. There was no seat in the tub and they didn’t have a portable shower seat. The lavatory was separated from the wall, the shelf in the bathroom had the same issue. Trim on the base of the room door was loose and the door was very difficult to open. If I had been in a wheelchair I don’t think I could have gotten it open. The room needed some maintenance for sure. Plus the threshold between the room and bathroom was too high to rollover it. I do like the composite and tile floor. It’s nice not to have carpet.

Areas for improvement: The TV is quite old, and it only had about 20 poor-quality channels, making it pretty much unwatchable. Additionally, our toilet had flushing issues, and maintenance had to come fix it. They really should just invest in a new toilet for the $200 it would cost. The current one has a mismatched lid that doesn’t fit properly, causing the back to stay open and slide around.

No safe on property, next to freeway lots of noise room is dated pool and hot tub looked dirty.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for Valentine's Day weekend. So I'm not going to lie I was surprised by the appearance of the room, it was actually really nice. Overall it was a cool stay, friendly staff got some free cookies at checkin. The main issue(s) I had with my room was it had a weird smell to it at times, the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit more, and the curtain in the shower needs to be replaced. It's old, dirty and there wasn't another curtain to keep the water from going everywhere in the bathroom. I would give the hotel an overall 7.5/10

room air conditioner seem to cool fine but still felt humid. pool at BW was cold. Everything else was fine.

Room smelled musty, was able to change rooms and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was included and wasn't bad. The place its self was dated. Nice pool area. For a night or two not bad.

When we got there (pretty late) the front desk was nice and accommodating. There was ok breakfast, it was quiet, the 2nd room they put us in was clean minus the shower head. (1st one had a spill and smelled weird.) For the price it was overall nice

Had a bad tv channel changer that was replaced quickly. The tv had 7 fuzzy channels...management was notified and no resolution was found.

It looks like a boutique hotel. We loved the hot water in the bathroom snd the bed was comfortable. We also were pleased when we needed help. The front desk person was very swift in fixing the door lock. Our friends had a number of things wrong with their room but the help came quickly in replacing the light and other features. The one thing that drove us crazy was the street racing cars at all times of the day and night! The police need to deal with this serious situation. BW should invest a little money in this hotel and promote it as an old Florida feel hotel. We stayed here one week. I miss the hot water on demand and the beds. The staff were very friendly, too.
