I appreciated that Yuni went above and beyond each time we stayed and actually remembered us from the previous visits. My FIL was going through treatments at Emory and she made us feel welcome. We were able to focus on resting after long days in the hospital because she took care of us. Elevator is really slow even when it doesn't seem like there are many guests using it or it is after hours.

Yuni was extremely personable and helpful. The light at the far end of the parking lot is a nice feature since it makes it feel extra safe. The location is great for Emory. Probably needed two elevators for this size building and I'm not sure you can fix that now. It seems extremely slow even while considering that other guests are using it. We would have taken the stairs several times but didn't see any clear markings showing where they were. By the time we had given up on the elevator, it would arrive so we didn't really look hard for the stairs.

Nice but small parking lot

I stayed for 3 days i eequested service daily and didnt recieve it . They also told me they didnt clean the rooms until the 3rd day wich on the 3rd day i did not recieve. (Mind you im a mom of 3 ) i would have paid extra money wasnt the issie we were on vacation! When it came to breakfast it was pretty good but i felt watch everytime and that was UNCOMFORTABLE. The pool was down up until check out . I was promised points and discount and never recieved them. Just be mindful. I usually goto 5 star.

The lobby was well lit. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was plentiful. Only stayed the one night so any of the other amenities were not used. I would definitely go back again.

The business itself especially the staff was excellent. It did take a half hour to get logged on to your wifi with your phone technician. That was the only downside.

Felt relatively safe. Quiet. Room was dirty. Chips underneath bed, like whole chips not just crumbs. Shower was moldy, seal around shower and tub was moldy. Shower head dirty. It was also super dark even with all the lights on.

This was our second time this month we stayed here. Everything was excemptional. From the receptionist, cleaning staff, and an amazing breakfast.

The amenities were great, free parking, free breakfast, welcome cookies, and 24 hours free coffee is a plus. The rooms were nicely appointed.

We were very happy and noticed how kind and professional all the staff and especially the two ladies working breakfast were. They made our whole stay.

Ok, tv had no signal for several hours. Bed totally uncomfortable it was sleeping on a marshmellow. Air conditioner did not cool room even though it ran nonstop.

However, the attendant working in the area where they put out the food for the Continental Breakfast was a little rude and seemed to have been in a bad mood or agitated by the hotel guests.

The room was very nice! Very roomy, king bed, sofa, refrigerator is double the size of the usual room refrigerator, microwave oven, desk, color tv, nice bathroom and the water coming out of the shower head felt great! The room looked recently renovated. The complimentary breakfast buffet is also very nice. The staff is very friendly and service oriented. The only negative is the housekeeping was late to clean rooms. We were out of the room by early to mid morning and would come back in mid to late afternoon and the room had not been cleaned yet and we did not have the sign on the door to skip cleaning.

Our stay was so pleasant! The staff was so nice, helpful, and friendly. Devonte, Jayla, Adrianna, and Denise were just so amazing! Devonte helped me with my reservation when we had an illness in the family. The front desk representatives (Jayla and Adrianna) were the best, and Denise had a beautiful, bright smile every morning at breakfast. We were there for three nights and our room was perfect. It was a really great vacation! I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet location.

Clean, efficient, safe stay. We had a super early flight in and the hotel was able to accommodate us ahead of our scheduled check in time.

We stayed here because of the close proximity to Emory Hospital. We come to the hospital at least twice a year and will stay at this location again.

Location was not great and for same cost there is probably a better option that is cleaner and more convenient if you are here for an event at Emory.

We have been staying in this hotel for ten years, since family moved to Atlanta. Convenient location. We have learned our way around from this point and from our family's location.

Front desk employees were super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay again. I would like to say however that the info on Orbitz needs to be updated. It says there is a sauna. That is a big reason we chose this hotel. According to the front desk staff, it has been gone since 2019. I was not able to locate a rooftop garden either.

Convenient to stores and restaurants, but the sidewalks are lacking in that general area. Not good for pedestrians.

Customer service was A++ - so incredibly friendly and helpful. I was greeted as a welcome guest every time I passed through the lobby so it was quite a change from other chain hotels! I wasn't aware until after my stay that this is an Emory Univ Hospital approved hotel which was why I was in town. Discounted rates for surgical stays. But they also understood their guests needs based on it being hospital related. Bathroom felt a tad out dated but otherwise great hotel very convenient to hospital and stores.

Area around the property didn't seem the nicest but hotel was comfy and the staff was excellent even checking in a bit later! The free Breakfast was loaded with great options. Pancakes, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, veggie omelette, sausage, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice!

The Holiday Inn Express was awesome!!!! The room was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The bathtub and shower were great. The bathroom had Dove Hand Soap and Body Wash and Lotion and Shampoo and Conditioner.

I like that it was near the place where I had business to complete. I did not like that my room was not cleaned or my garbage left in my room for one whole day until I complained about it.

This Holiday Inn Express in Decatur, Georgia near the Emory University, is truly a gem that many might overlook when booking their stay. But don't! The site is conveniently located and serves as a great headquarters for whatever you are in town to do. The hotel is super clean and inviting from the minute you walk up to it. The rooms are spacious and spotless. Love the country-style continental breakfast that is served each morning and overlooked by the nicest hospitality staff. A big shout out to Ron, Leslie and Asia who oversee the front desk and are ever so welcoming and who are very people orientated. The women who clean the rooms are also very friendly.

This hotel is wonderful! Breakfast was great! The Expedia listing has a sauna, but at check in I was informed there is not a sauna at this location.
