    When concierge was by her self at checkout time, she worked efficiently, and stayed super friendly and helpful. Person working at cafe in lobby was by herself at cash register, taking food and coffee orders, running to back to get more coffee, but stayed friendly the whole time. But because she ran it by herself, the line grew long, and wait time was long for a cup of coffee.

    First. We were sent to a room on the 5th floor, that was still occupied. We went back downstairs and informed them of this. Then we were told we would receive a room upgrade. Which was ok considering. In the new room. They never came to provide us clean towels or empty the garbage cans. This did make for an uncomfortable stay and and had us thinking about going elsewhere. Also one of the elevators that was needed to take us to our floor, kept hurling as if was going to either drop or get stuck. Very uncomfortable feeling.

    The staff makes the stay here exceptional. We have used this hotel twice in last 6 months for meetings and everyone is very helpful and friendly. A lot of nice places to eat in walking distance. Very safe area.

    A bit over-priced... Shower was not functioning properly, and it was not fixed during our two-day stay. The most important issue was too much noise from the next room having a party for both nights.

    The doors to the rooms had a closing mechanism that would slam the door and made such a lout noise. You could hear and feel every door that shut to rooms that were around you. This made it difficult to sleep.

    The parking deck is ridiculous and you have to pay $15 per day to park! If you have a larger vehicle, good luck! The restaurant Pizaaz is so expensive. 2 drinks was $40 and they did not even fill a cup to below the rim! Small bag of chips was $4, 24 oz Pepsi, $4.25, so bring something if you may get hungry. Our shower didn’t work after we were unpacked, so they moved us to another room. That room was clean but the AC did not get the room cool. We were not packing up again so we didn’t bother saying anything. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Which ended up being a good thing since the tub had long hair in it from the previous stay. Disappointing for $200 a night.

    I don't think breakfast came with my staff. I have never stayed in a hotel in a downtown before. It was definitely a different experience. The lady that checked me out need some more customer service training. She did a poor job explaining the charges. She was very rude.

I have never had a hotel stay where NO shower was available. This does not fit the definition of a "GUEST," which I assumed that I had paid to be. Turn-on was obviously removed and had been reinstalled completely wrong.

    Location downtown is walkable to many great spots and was close to my family in Decatur The parking garage is poorly designed with narrow spaces and huge pillars that have been rubbed by cars frequently. The room was also not cleaned the three nights we stayed. They one time I know they tried we were trying to leave the room and needed 5 mins. Said hey to the worker when we left but I dont know if she spoke English so maybe she thought we didnt care about getting more coffee or towels.

I discovered the mistake when I showed up two weeks early for my stay which is when I found out I had mistakenly booked the wrong day. The hotel was unmoved. The front desk clerk seemed annoyed I had used a third party service such as hotels.com. When I went to file a claim I didn’t meet any of the requirements for a refund. The booking mistake was my error. I own that. But will never use hotels.com again. I’d love that money back. And the insurance fee.

For a three hundred dollar stay, you would think you could get your car parked instead of going through a myriad of nonsense with cards that you have to scan to get in.And out of the parking lot and fees to be paid for parking and fifteen dollars.For scrambled egg, breakfast that you could get at motel 6 for free- and worst of all, no one on staff at the hotel. There was one lady behind the front desk.The day we checked in and the morning we checked out.SAT to SUN It seemed like she was the only employee in the whole hotel. There was Noone to valet the car and the parking situation was very complicated, There were no bell men which was very inconvenient for luggage et.Cetera. every other hotel i've ever stayed in in this price range.Had much better service.And when I called the front desk to ask for a luggage cart, she says, i'm the only one on staff we have nobody to do it, .I'll have to ask housekeeping.You have to bear with me .. I just love how there's no problem when it comes to charging.You for the room they always have someone who can charge your credit card, but don't expect them to have someone who can work to provide the services that you're paying for.! And the fan in the bathroom did not work.So it was incredibly hot while we're trying to get ready for our event. Overall, a very poor experience being nickeled and dimeded for everything with no services provided. That poor woman at the front desk seemed as if she lived there and was the only person in the hotel that was working other than the staff charging fifteen dollars for eggs at the breakfast purchase counter. Will not stay in a marriott again.And I will be canceling my membership.

    This courtyard has seen better days. Outside it’s located in a great little area with lots to do. Inside needs a good cleaning and repairing. I didn’t shower due to the funk on the shower floor. Dust and lint on the AC intake showed further lack of attention to detail. AC and internet were both on point. Staff seemed very friendly. I’m sure you’re on candid camera but you can walk from outside into the parking garage and up to the back of the lobby and then up the separate elevator to room floors without need of a key or room card. Not great.

    Hotel is clean and linens and beds are comfortable. There is a lot of noise, however. You can hear other guests if they're talking in the hall. Every room seems to overlook an atrium where the reception is. The atrium has a strong echo which also can be heard inside the rooms.

    My daughter booked this room through booking com, but she booked the wrong day. I walked into the hotel minutes after she made the reservation. Once I was told it was fir the wrong night, I contacted the site because I needed the room for that night -- July 21st. I got thr runaround from both booking.com and the hotel. I had to get another hotel fir that night. That nobody would work with me. The room was booked fir the wrong date by mistake. I couldn't get one human being to help me.

    Overall the Courtyard Marriott was very nice. Although there was parking, it was run by the city. I was not aware of the costs associated with parking; however it was only $12 a day. Since our care was an SUV, the spaces were fairly tight. That was the only negative about the property.

My bed wasn’t ever fully made, the other one was just thrown together 2 days in a row. The bathroom was never cleaned & towels one morning weren’t fully replaced nor the bag in the ice bucket. I had to get them from the front desk. Very disappointed in this Marriott. I could have saved a ton of money staying in a motel 8 with the same treatment I got from this Marriott.

    Location. The young lady who checked me in was so sweet and accommodating. The first room they checked me into had a broken TV and a stopped up sink in the bathroom After being asked to move, they put me in a second room. However, that room was directly above the downstairs restaurant which had loud booming, heavy bass music playing. Because the purpose of my trip was to get rest I knew I would not be able to get any rest with that Music playing until 10 PM. I went downstairs to request another room and they moved me a third time.

    I was upset with paying over $200 and the air would not work properly. I turned the air down to 50 degrees and the temperature was still 77 degrees in the room. Because of this I could not sleep. The maintenance man claimed the hotel used a boiler and chiller and thats why it didnt work good. Its funny that a hospital has both and you can make the temperature be what suits you. I will never go back and I want my money back.

    Parking lot assistance is horrible! We got stuck in the parking lot and called the assistance desk. The operator, Roberto, was very rude and literally refused to let us out. He kept repeatedly saying.., “ well, how did you get in?” And saying that, we should have exited before 11:30. Which was never explained. We sat and ate breakfast after check out & had no idea. Instead of letting us out, he taunted us for a good 23 minutes before opening the gate. My husband threatened to call the police & file a report before he let us out and said, next time leave on time. It was an absolute nightmare!

    Property is very well maintained, especially the pool. Front desk staff are pretty good, if hard to find at times. Rooms are very nice and clean. There are really only two issues that should be addressed/changed: 1) They neglect to mention in the details that you must pay to park, which in my opinion should be listed as one of the fees. At the time of my stay, it was $12/day. 2) There is not a single vending machine on any of the floors. Instead, they have a tiny little "store" area next to the check-in desk where they sell a very limited selection of sodas and snacks. This is very inconvenient.

Beds were way to low, seems like the box springs were removed and since both me and my partner are disabled, and this was supposed to be a handicap accessible room, we could barely get out of the bed

    I stayed at Courtyard Atlanta in Decatur on Saturday 2/24/2024 when I traveled there for my daughter's college ring ceremony. The property was nice and very clean overall. We ordered dinner and had it delivered to our room since we couldn't order from "Platez", the restaurant advertised in the hotel elevator and throughout the hotel property stating that we could order room service from them. That was the first disappointment. Secondly, the mattress in our room was so hard and lumpy that I woke up several times throughout the night in excrutiating pain. Then around 6:30 am we were awakened to small feet running up and down the hallway until finally the parents of said feet caught up with them and then came the screaming. Finally back to sleep around 7 am, it was short lived. At 8;30 am we were awakened once again, this time by housekeeping banging on our door. I got up and opened it and asked the young lady if I could help her. She proceeded to ask me if I was checking out, to which I replied yes, at 11 am...checkout time. I'm all for getting a jump start on your job, but to wake folks up at 8:30 am on a Sunday morning after they paid $200 for a one night stay in your hotel is ridiculous. I will never give Courtyard my hard earned money ever again. Never!!!
