Reviews
Guests generally have a positive experience at this hotel, appreciating the friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and convenient location. The free breakfast is also a popular amenity. However, some guests have issues with noise, either from other guests or the surrounding area, and a few find the rooms or bathrooms small.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Clean rooms
- Noise issues
- Small rooms or bathrooms

I gave three stars as it did include a small breakfast and was under $100 including tax. This is definitely a place that you get what you pay for.
- 5/5
Nice check in.
- 4/5
My stay was very nice. The woman at check in was very kind and helpful. She followed me to my room to help me with the air conditioning. The room was clean and basic, no thrills. Overall a good experience
- 4/5
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and truly appreciated the outstanding customer service throughout our visit from the staff. Pablo was an exceptional representative of the hotel — professional, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Employees like Pablo are what make a company successful and leave guests wanting to return.
- 5/5
Nice hotel……easy access to restaurants.
- 5/5
Check in was easy, room was clean and spacious.
- 5/5
The hotel was easy to get to eateries at the front desk. Clerk was extremely kind and friendly. Thank you so much.
- 5/5
Good location, good breakfast
- 5/5
La propiedad está muy bien limpia baños y cuartos y su parking Lot muy accesible y la quinta tiene un desayunó muy bien variado...y su personal muy amable..
- 2/5
For the price we paid, I expected a much more comfortable experience. The walls are also very thin, and we could hear people walking and talking late into the night, which made sleeping even harder. Overall, this was not a cheap hotel, and the quality didn’t match the cost. We left very unsatisfied and will not be staying here again on future visits.

BOOKING.COM BOOKED TWO ROOMS BY ACCIDENT AND CHARGED ME TWICE ! I NEED A REFUND FOR 1 ROOM, BUT AS I WAS AWAY FROM HOME WITH NO PHONE PACKAGE WAS UNABLE TO CONTACT BOOKING.COM TO REQUEST A REFUND. I HAD ONLY RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF ONE ROOM BEING BOOKED BUT NOTE TWO CHARGES TO MY CREDIT CARD IN THE UK PLEASE ADVISE
- 2.5/5
Multiple rooms had problems with their key not working and having to go back to the front desk multiple times. That's a basic need that wasn't met. The bathroom vent didn't work or maybe didn't have one so showers made the room humid. Tub drain is partially clogged
- 3/5
Pool and hot tub were really dirty, but front desk staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
Pablo was a great front office attendant! The pool area was very clean The breakfast was super good!! Lots of options! That the pool closes at 8
- 4.5/5
Friendliness, cleanliness and location and affordable price
- 4/5
Apart from that, the property is great and was a good deal.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Parking safe and easy. Quiet top floor room. Hot tub in working order. Good breakfast. WiFi so-so. Staff pleasant, especially Alexia at check-in.
- 5/5
Parking felt safe. Beds were comfortable. Clean room. Good breakfast. Would stay again!
- 4.5/5
Warm eggs instead of just hardboiled would be welcomed.
- 1/5
The La Quinta in Davis is in a safe location near downtown, next to the highway. The king bed in room 207 was AWFUL -- the mattress top was literally a wavy block of springs on top of a wobbly box. We will not stay there again! Breakfast was also very skimpy -- waffles, sugar syrup, sugary oatmeal packets, refrigerated eggs, pale bacon or sausage but no hot eggs or hot proteins. The metal fence around the pool AND the back door into the building was not locked at night so we just walked in after dark without using our room key. The staff at the front desk did not fix this even after we told them specifically about our security concerns. The trash can at the pool was also literally full of 3 dozen or more identical smashed beer cans in the morning. The bed was really awful.
- 3.5/5
Pablo at the front desk was really nice. You enter all the rooms from within the hotel, so I was really grateful for a cart that was always available to move things in and out. I have difficulty walking. The room was clean. The parking lot had ample space for a 16' box truck. The pet fee was very reasonable ($25). The mattress sunk down to box springs on one side. Thankfully, the other side wasn't as bad. But really, this mattress should be replaced. This isn't a cheap hotel. The worst thing about this room was the lack of privacy. This made me quite uncomfortable. The window, which faced the front of the hotel on the first floor (where everyone walks by to enter) only had the white transparent fabric covering. The opaque, outer fabric covering could not be pulled together fully (the track does not allow it). This was also annoying in the morning, as the sun shone in as soon as it rose.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable
- 5/5
Great location, many times there before since our daughter is at UDDavis. Good breakfast and lovely place for our dog.
- 5/5
Nice stay— clean and comfortable.
- 0.5/5
I can’t say anything about the property as I didn’t get to stay there. I didn’t like that I tried multiple times to cancel my stay. I spoke with booking.com and called the hotel at least three times and my stay wasn’t canceled or refunded.
- 2.5/5
The bedframes did not fit the bed, and every time we moved, we heard bumping cells. The bathroom toilet was too low. Looked like it was for a toddler to sit on it. Not a 6 foot man.
- 4.5/5
Nice and friendly employees clean and close to school davis Everything
- 3/5
Good breakfast for the price. Little outdated rooms but overall good value for the price
- 5/5
Pet friendly hotel. This was our 2nd time stay in this hotel. Check-in process was very friendly.
- 3/5
The room itself was clean, and the staff members I interacted with were professional, courteous, and willing to help when needed. That said, the property felt dated overall. The common area was very small, with almost no indoor seating, and the breakfast selection was much more limited than what I’ve come to expect from La Quinta — probably about a third of what we’ve seen at other locations. We were in town for a tournament, and the hotel served its basic purpose: a place to sleep between games. But compared to other La Quinta properties, this one fell short. I appreciate the staff, but I would not choose to stay here again.
- 5/5
N/a N/a
- 1/5
Key cards frequently didn’t work. No staff to help recode key cards and had to sit in hallway till staff arrived.
- 3/5
Bed was not very comfortable, pillows cheap. Room was fairly clean. Breakfast was ok. Price was good.
- 4.5/5
Clean, easy
- 4/5
Breakfast was good Room not as soundproof as one might like
- 4/5
The price and location. It was close to where I needed to be in town. Mostly quite and in a generally nice area from what I could see. The floor had some spots in that were poking up where the panels met each other. Like the corners of the panels were coming up. One side of the bed sagged a lot.
- 3.5/5
Great value. Breakfast is weak. Pool is small
- 2/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful, Free coffee was nice and the room was very clean The walls between rooms are VERY Thin. I could hear a whisper from the other room. Do not expect any sort of privacy whatsoever. Given it was picnic day weekend all other hotel in the area are booked or super expensive. If it had been any other weekend I would have gone to another hotel the second night I was there. Staff tried to help, however the only thing they could say was that it was an old building. I understand old buildings but for a hotel you have to have some privacy from your neighbor.
- 2/5
The lobby and breakfast area was nicely maintained. We appreciated the fresh fruit, cookies and ice water always available in the lobby. The breakfast was decent and liked that they provided trays to take food to room. The bedroom was clean however the hallway carpets were dirty and did not appear to be vacuumed over the three days we were there. The beds were very soft and pillows were too high—no other options available. The blackout curtains were disgustingly dirty. Almost looked moldy and corroding. Very gross. Appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the room. Nice to have a pool and jacuzzi however they were filthy with debris. It had been windy before we arrived but it looked like it was not cleaned frequently. Finally, the front desk staff was rarely in attendance. Nice when we did interact but usually there was nobody at the desk. Didn’t seem very secure. They could not store our baggage upon early arrival and wouldn’t give us a room unless we paid extra. It is a very budget hotel so I guess we got what we paid for.
- 5/5
Great convenient
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Good stay
- 3/5
Older hotel and definitely showing wear and tear. Bathroom light is connected to fan; very loud and obnoxious. No insulation between rooms next door or above. But staff very friendly and welcoming!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room exceptional breakfast, even parking spot for Veterans. 2nd time at this hotel. Beautiful!
- 4.5/5
It was clean, location was great , good breakfast Nothing
- 4.5/5
Room and bedding was comfortable, and breakfast choices. TV was not good and kept getting stuck and not the best for ease of channel service.
- 5/5
Great place to stay, very close to downtown and the rooms are clean ans spacious.
- 3/5
Food was good my bed way too soft toilet too low for me parking was easy rooms were ckean
- 5/5
Breakfast had a pretty good selection. Rooms seemed a little outdated but the rooms were clean and quiet, parking convenient, and staff was helpful. Not a fan of direct tv - limited on channels.
- 5/5
Has everything you'd expect for a La Quinta Inn. Staff was courteous, property was well kept. Breakfast area was smaller than other similar Wyndham properties, but the waffle irons make great waffles!
- 5/5
Breakfast was excellent and parking was safe
- 2/5
Parking illumination was all over the lot, it really made it feel safe. One good point for them. Only one.
- 5/5
Convenient and comfy!
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
Shower was not clean . Bed sub par really uncomfortable
- 3/5
Room and bathroom was not very clean. The flooring was falling apart and in poor condition.
- 3/5
Staff was nice and professional. Room was pretty good. The mattress needs to be replaced. It was very uncomfortable. Check-in and checkout was easy.
- 4/5
Nice stay at affordable price. Great interaction with housekeeping. Hot tub needs resurfacing. Some wear and tear at the property, but clean and reasonably maintained.
- 4/5
Very nice staff
- 4/5
The check in person was very nice!
- 5/5
breakfast was ample quantity and good quality
- 4/5
Was only there for one night but it was ok
- 2/5
Room was clean, but the fan in the bathroom was like a broken engine on a small plane. The staff had no solution and could not move us as the hotel was full. We used the heat lamp in the bathroom to see.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and quick. The room was spacious and clean.
- 3/5
The noise level was a lot running screaming people gathering slow down around midnight
- 5/5
Breakfast was decent Parking was good
- 1/5
Toilet didn’t flush. They had no pillows
- 5/5
The room was clean and staff friendly. They are dog friendly and always put me next to a downstairs exit to take my pup out. I stay in Davis 3-5 times a year and this hotel is my go to.
- 1/5
The floor was sticky, the AC and bathroom exhaust was sounding like a loud motorcycle.
- 3/5
Okay hotel if you're staying for one night. Smelled old and looked a bit outdated which I guess might not be as big of a deal breaker. The carpet could use a cleaning. Pool and hot tub were dirty. Bedding and towels seemed clean. Furniture showed signed of wear. Breakfast was very limited in options. Basically just have the waffles. However, the area seems safe. We left a canopy and camping chairs in the bed of our truck, and they were still there in the morning. Overall okay.
- 4/5
The Staff was great, the place was very clean.
- 5/5
I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The room size was perfect—spacious, comfortable, and very well-maintained. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was amazing with a great variety and delicious options to start the day. The customer service was truly awesome—the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. One of the most impressive features was the all-day snack availability. Complimentary apples and bananas were always available, which was such a thoughtful and convenient touch. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! 😊
- 1/5
It was extremely loud, I couldn’t sleep all night. I could hear people slamming doors, talking loudly and walking around. You could hear clear convos upstairs and all night. I asked the manager to call me and I still haven’t received a call.
- 5/5
Quick check in, fruit basket in lobby with choice of banana or apple. Nice room for the rate. Good location near freeway and downtown Davis.
- 5/5
Excellent service.
- 3/5
The hotel was super loud unfortunately so we didn't get much sleep. We did like that the beds were comfortable and the free breakfast was pretty good.
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
The room was not inspect, so one corner of the floor tile was lifted so at night while walking in the dark I smashed my toe causing bruising, bleeding and a limp all weekend while visiting my daughter at UC Davis...which didn't allow for enjoyment all my weekend because of the pain. When I went to ask to be moved rooms, I was met with double the price. Management NEVER contacted me. I had to call 11 times in 2 and 1/2 weeks to get the manager to call me back. Manager said she would return charges NEVER did. Now seeking legal representation for injury, when all I wanted was an apology and promise the room would be fixed correctly. My experience with Wyndham is incompetency!!!!
- 3/5
Room pretty beat up (torn lampshade, bathroom light triggered very loud fan, dirty looking carpet). Bed was comfortable. Dog down hall barked continuously for 2+ hours and front desk didn't remove.
- 4/5
We arrived very late after flight delays and were greeted with a smile. Our king room was no longer available but we were given a room with two queens for no additional fee. The room was comfortable and clean. We were in town for a college tour and were very happy with our hotel choice. Will definitely book here again. The price was right, nice free breakfast and the service was wonderful.
- 5/5
Good and curtious staff, clean
- 5/5
Elevator inspection certificate was 11 months post-expiration (gotta read something while waiting to get to your floor)
- 2/5
The hotel is run down. It’s a rough stay. Our initial bedroom had stains on the bedding. Looked like the sheets hadn’t been changed. They were pretty wrinkled although the covers were taut. We requested to be moved to a different room, which they did. The male at the front desk was friendly and apologetic about it. The other room was ok. The floor boards were a little uneven in some areas and had some nick's and debris but at least the bed was clean. It’s not sound proof at all, we could hear our neighbors upstairs and across the hallway. We were staying one night for an event and were already running late so that’s the main reason we didn’t go elsewhere. There was a guest in the coffee bar as we were checking in coughing violently and without covering his mouth. He continued coughing all around the lobby even after we had gone to the first room. He looked quite pleased with his coughing. Needless to say we didn’t even approach the water/coffee/tea bar nor had breakfast. Would not stay here again.
- 2/5
Not clean
- 2/5
That said, The staff was nice and helpful, and did attempt to address my experience and concerns. I doubt I will ever go back to Wyndham Davis in my natural life time.
- 3/5
Room and facilities were clean, just slightly run down. Bed was uncomfortable, thin mattress with an uneven surface underneath. I found an okay spot to sleep on but would have been tough to sleep with two people in the bed.
- 2/5
Front desk staff was very nice. First room was neglected and we asked for another. They accommodated us and that room was fine. Unfortunately we had loud neighbors which made for lousy sleep. We asked in the AM if our neighbors were checking out, unfortunately they were not, but were assured we could move to another room. Front desk was very kind until we came back later in day to move room, the manager who would not talk with us even though we requested to must have deemed us difficult. We were always kind, respectful and appreciative. They gave us a new room which unfortunately also had loud neighbors. Walls are thin, hotel is very basic. We appreciate the front desk staff and them working with us, the manager not willing to talk with us was lame and unprofessional. We would not stay there again.
- 2/5
Found a bed bug crawling on our bed, I showed it to the front desk staff, he was sorry and changed our room immediately. However it made my parents, who are staying next door, worried and anxious throughout the night. I emailed the manager twice requesting a refund, with picture and video attached in the emails. Despite my repeated attempts to reach out, I have not received any response. You can deny my request, but being ignored made me really disappointed.
- 1/5
System was down and couldnt go in my room
- 3/5
Rooms weren't bad, but drawers were dirty with dust and stray hairs so I didn't use them. Beds were comfortable and heat/ac was controlled with a thermostat, easy to use. I didnt get to use the pool or hot tub but they looked nice, breakfast is included, it was okay. Would probably choose a diffrent hotel next time I'm in Davis.
- 4/5
Clean room and good check in service. But internet-wifi remains the issue. Patchy to No coverage. Have to use my own hotspot for work.
- 1/5
Phone didn't work, tried to use it to reach lobby as my TV wasn't work either. I decided to use my cell phone to make the call to the lobby and never picked up after trying three different occasions. Finally following alseep and I got a knock on my door stating that they had gotten a loud noise disturbance in that general area and they wanted to check to see if we were causing it. Very annoying, it wasn't coming from our room . I did inform them about the phone not working nor the TV and they didn't do anything about it.
- 4/5
Cleaned and comfortable room, supportive staff and nice breakfast.
- 5/5
Great location. Very nice staff. Clean room. Quiet. Not a lot but enough options for breakfast. They were very understandable about us having to checked out a day earlier. Also, we reserved a room for a different date but plans changed and they were again very understandable of the situation and did not penalized us for not fulfilling the reservation. We are definitely coming back.
- 4/5
Clean room, good breakfast included, and helpful staff. A nice and affordable place to sleep while visiting my son at UC Davis.
- 5/5
staff was nice. Great location.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 4/5
Just for one night!! Good place.
- 3/5
Clean but property a bit dated...
- 3/5
staff was fine, the property was pretty seedy and not very clean
- 5/5
House keeping was great and reliable. Decent breakfast. Best bang for the buck.
- 5/5
Excellent stay!
- 4/5
Very nice clean room. Nice bathtub.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean. Left at 4:30 am for airport so did not eat the breakfast
- 5/5
Would like to have more variety on breakfast menu.
- 4/5
Overall good
- 3/5
Good but no wifi
- 5/5
The room was comfortable. The beds weee comfortable. The pillows need to be a little firmer, but I survived. The bathroom and shower were great and relaxing. It’s in a quiet location.
- 5/5
Fast check-in.
- 4/5
Staff was helpful and friendly. Good for a night stay, nothing fancy but doesn’t break the bank either. In a good area, close to UC Davis. Breakfast was good, had hot items- bacon, sausage, waffles. WiFi sucked though. They block most apps from connecting to the Internet, so only a few apps work.
- 5/5
Its amazing using this
- 5/5
Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Bed was good!
- 3/5
No wifi
- 4/5
Good breakfast, friendly staff.
- 2/5
Definitely will not be staying there again.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Nice breakfast and friendly staff.
- 2/5
The wifi didn’t work! The computer in lobby wasn’t working. The bathroom in the room had so many woman’s hair on the ground
- 5/5
I love that place
- 5/5
Amazing staff The minute you walk in the door you are greeted with the most amazing staff ever. We love staying here
- 5/5

- 1/5
Room is not clean, bathroom fan was so noisy
- 5/5
Room was very clean . Excellent staff. We loved to stay there
- 5/5
Clean and spacious room; friendly staff; breakfast area and offerings were great!; comfortable bed.
- 5/5
great service
- 1/5
Found a bed bug on the sheets at 4am, dust everywhere and there was leftover food in the mini fridge. No garbage bags for the trash bins???? Then I told the “night audit guy” about the bed bugs and he was laughing and smirking the whole time. He didn’t even inform his manager about the incident. Stay away from this hotel and room 208 especially. They didn’t refund my money either
- 2/5
Not the first time to stay. I booked a non smoking room but the the one they
- 5/5
Fast and easy check-in. Clean room. Beds were comfortable. It was a chilly night and we had complete control of the thermostat. Great location. Breakfast was good. Hot choices were waffles, sausage and bacon. Variety of breads including bagels. Boiled eggs, yogurt, danishes, breakfast bars and fruit juices. Variety of coffees and teas. Check-out was a breeze using an automated text. Affordable and would stay here again!
- 2/5
Mattress was worn out and woke up with backaches. Restrooms not cleaned properly.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
Breakfast was great 🌟 Pool and hot tub were literally FULL of leaves 👎 (Front desk young man did offer to clean it) Heat/air in our room did not work The mattress literally had what felt like wooden 2 by 4’s under the surface Again wonderful young man Pablo at the front desk apologized and moved us to another room. I think the problem lies with the owner of the property not wanting to put much money into their investment.
- 2/5
We found a cockroach in our room, the room was only cleaned one day out of four nights, the room smelled like smoke and the worst part...the elevator inspection card had expired last March! 9 months overdue!
- 3/5
Staff friendly and professional. Exterior well kept, except for pool and jacuzzi, which were full of leaves. Fresh fruit and ice water in lobby was nice. Hotel is quite worn and simple touch up and repairs have been neglected. Mattress was thin and springy, pillows were flat foam. Our room appeared clean except for the drapes which were filthy. AC worked fine. Coffee is good. Breakfast was very minimal. There are many hotels in this area to try, next time we'll spend a little more and hopefully get a little more.
- 3/5
The king size bed was in horrible condition!!! The “mattress” wasn’t a real one, but more like a 5” high futon mattress. The center of it had a dip in it the size of a grown man. You can feel the metal frame through the mattress. Absolutely horrendous. I put the worst pillows in the middle so I would stop rolling into it.
- 5/5
your staff was great
- 2/5
Bed was super uncomfortable, bathroom smelled bad, the people that worked there were ok, room was old, walls are super thin, 2 stars because it is in a good location not too far from downtown
- 3/5
The room was clean, comfortable beds, carpet looked like it needed to be shampooed. The beds definitely need new pillows. They were completely flat and uncomfortable to sleep on.
- 5/5
Had a great stay.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable rooms. Very courteous staff. Front desk lady was exceptional. I forgot her name but she is a Tongan woman with a pleasant demeanor. Breakfast was ok. Coffee and fruit are available at any time. Bargain prices.
- 4/5
The room was cleaned, and the staff was courteous. We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Very clean room, easy checkin
- 5/5
We had a great experience for our short stay. Cleanly rooms, courteous staff. Just wish breakfast had gone longer so we could have enjoyed it. We arrived at 4am, and just could not make it to breakfast before it ended at 9am. There was also some construction happening along the freeway, but the staff was very kind to put on on the opposite end of the hotel so it wouldn't affect our stay.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean rooms

I stayed for one night while visiting UC Davis. Close drive to campus, but not walkable. Clean room, nice and friendly reception and breakfast area was tidy and had a few options like pancakes, hot bacon and sausage and hard boiled eggs.
- 4/5
Always a convenient stop. I wish they’d in wat in better beds, tho. I slept, but it wasn’t great.
- 5/5
The stay was good
- 5/5
Great place for the price.
- 5/5
Good stay for a weekend in Davis
- 5/5
We enjoy our stay at Davis
- 4/5
Nice stay, breakfast was good - could use a little better cleanliness in the room.
- 4/5
The free breakfast was very good and the eating area was clean. Fresh fruit was available, but it was out near the registration desk. It seems like during breakfast, it could be moved closer to the eating area. The parking spaces were fairly narrow.
- 4/5
The TV cable doesn’t work no reception Weak Water flow from bathroom shower spray
- 1/5
We were exposed to bed bugs.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 4/5
Staff is friendly, parking is convenient but the bathroom ceiling fan doesn’t work!
- 5/5
I stayed at this property often for business. It is a little old but it is clean and convenient. I am wishing for the day they change the carpet and it will be perfect.
- 5/5
Fast easy check in. Nice lady that checked us in.
- 3/5
Bed was broken and hard. Everything else was decent.
- 4/5
Phone or blow dryer didn’t work,
- 5/5
The place was spotless, the front desk team was super responsive, and parking was easy and secure — plus, we really appreciated that breakfast, wifi, and parking was included!
- 4/5
Bed was hard, like sleeping on the ground. Evidently Corporate is not responding to Guests comments regarding this fact. Convenient location, food/coffee within walking distance.
- 5/5
Very nice place. Great amenities and breakfast.
- 1/5
Can hear everything here. The bed felt like I slept on the floor with my sweatshirt as a pillow. Extremely outdated
- 5/5
Clean room

Starbucks is great
- 4/5
I was there for a wake everything was great would come back again
- 5/5
Room is clean and comfortable. Courtney took great care of us at check-in and allowed our large group to have an impromptu dinner spread around the pool
- 5/5
We were a group of 10 in town for a reunion. When our VRBO cancelled our reservation THE DAY before we arrived, we had to scatter all over Davis to find a reservation SOMEWHERE ( it was also UCD move-in weekend, so it was very challenging to find a place to stay). Three of us ended up here at LaQuinta. As disappointed as we were that our group couldn’t be together, our stay at LaQuinta absolutely turned our disappointment into cheer. The woman at the front desk who checked us in (Alicia) was so kind and sympathetic to our plight, and got us rooms near each other. Our room was clean, and well-appointed for what we needed. The beds were VERY comfortable. The A/C kept us cool and content in the 95 degree heat. Ample free parking. Remarkably quiet, even though our room faced the interstate. Thank you LaQuinta for your ability to accommodate us so nicely at the last moment.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean environment
- 1/5
Shabby hotel with no air conditioning in the lobby
- 5/5
everything was great!
- 5/5
Front clerk was great! I unfortunately do not remember her name. She was courteous, friendly and gave us directions and made small talk.
- 3/5
The room was semi clean. We didn't have enough towels. There were stains on the pillows, and they were flat, we found a lot of hair in the sheets. We were close to the lobby which was super loud at night. People were hanging out talking. Thankfully it was just 1 night stay.
- 3/5
Staff very friendly amd otherwise well maintained property.
- 1/5
I will not go to this hotel again, worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
- 2/5
The rooms need update and the elevator was broken during the time we stay. The stair case was smelly but fortunate we stay in 2nd floor.
- 5/5
Our tv did not work, cable issue. They were very nice about it and offered a new room which we declined. The next morning in they told us that they would wave the pet fee due to the tv issue. The desk manager in the morning who greeted us the evening before, Name starts with a C. was so friendly and nice. Wish I could take her home with me but, will have friendly memories of her.

Nice place to stay for a business trip. May be more options for breakfast
- 3/5
It was a quick one night stay while traveling. The condition of the bathroom needs some improvements—appears run down and had no fan to ventilate. Also pool closed really early in the evening and we had hoped to enjoy it but it was closed. Overall it met our needs for a quick stop on our way.
- 5/5
All was great except for lumpy pillows.
- 5/5
The breakfast was ok but scrambled eggs would be a nice addition to the bacon and sausage.
- 5/5
We were checking in early. The staff was very helpful and had the rooms all ready for us including accessible rooms.
- 5/5
Older property….. but it was safe & clean.Staff was nice.

Very convenient

Hey
- 5/5
Very clean and calmm. Kind staff. Very satisfied.

The hotel is walkable to a few food options and a gas station. The breakfast was pretty good and there were enough options to pick something different everyday. Staff were overall kind and helpful! The area around the hotel was fine, I’m a woman and I never felt any sort of danger. The only downside was the shower curtain hardly blocked water from getting out no matter how you positioned it and caused the whole bathroom floor to become slippery and wet. This problem may be specific to that room. Overall I’d say it’s a great option for the price. It’s only about a 20 minute drive to the center of downtown Sacramento. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Stay was good
- 3/5
One major problem… overall everything is fine and this is more of a personal issue. I apologize in advance for making this a little graphic. When “one” sits on the toilet, “one” shouldn’t feel splashes and cold water on his or her body parts… if you catch my drift. The property should invest in taller toilets, or at least higher toilet seats. Because as decent as the room was, the toilet experience was not at all.

It was the worse bed I have ever slept in. I requested a refund cause it was so bad.
- 5/5
Last minute reservation due to our original hotel pool was not in service the day we arrived. I found this reservation available. We checked in, everything went smoothly, the staff was very nice and welcoming. We got to our room and it was clean, ac worked, tv worked, theres a min fridge and microwave. Pool was lovely and quiet. Nice area! The breakfast was more than we could have hoped for, it included waffles, bagels, pastries, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereral, coffee, milk, oj, etc. Great selection!! We will be booking again and will recommend to others.

Our stay was wonderful. This was our second time there. Only this time we had to bring along our dog and fortunately this is a pet friendly place.
- 3/5
The staff is really friendly. Checking in was super easy and quick, which I appreciated after traveling. They offer free fresh fruit, water, coffee, and tea in the lobby. Overall, it's a great experience.
- 5/5
Our stay was very brief but the location was super convenient, safe, and the hotel was clean and fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The pool and hot tub were nice after a long day of driving
- 5/5
I have a broken wrist and I am traveling alone with my dog. I needed lots of help and everyone especially Courtney helped with cheerful encouragement
- 5/5
The pool and the hot tub were a nice pleasure after traveling all day
- 5/5
It is a nice hotel and good customer service. The only comment I can give is the pool and hot tub needs to be maintained.
- 4/5
Get a room away from the pool area. We had to be up very early and the people outside were incredibly loud. When the pool area was closed they continued to party in the parking lot.
- 3/5
Not as good as the old LaQuintas. Bed was ok, clean and comfortable. AC was noisy. Bathroom stuff skimpy. Towels clean and comfortable. Plumbing could use a remodel.
- 5/5
Staff are extra nice and helpful

I stayed for 3days, 2nights. When i returend from my outing on day 2 i was disappointed to see room service did not tend to my room at all. When i went to the front desk to request clean towels since mine had already been on the floor they only had 2 of the 3 i needed and told me to get more in the morning. When i advised my room had not been tended to, the uncaring and unsurprised clerk just said sorry. Didn't ask which room i was in or to see if there was anything else that could be done. I was happy because the location looked safe and being a single female traveling on my own, that was important but the rest of the expected amenities were also a factor. Will not be visitng this hotel again.
- 3/5
Room quality was a bit on the low side for the price
- 3/5
Everything was great except the complementary breakfast, which was very simplistic and the room had a cat pee smell. Otherwise, everything was great.
- 5/5
I have a broken wrist and Im traveling alone. I needed a lot of help. Everyone was kind and helpful and they made me feel better
- 4/5
This was a great stay for the price. No complaints!
- 4/5
The hotel is close to the freeway, dining, shopping, clean and affordable. Plus, they have free WiFi, breakfast and pool. Great stay for a quick trip to Davis.
- 5/5
I haven’t stayed at a hotel with breakfast since before covid so I was happily surprised! Loved staying at this location and staff was so nice.
- 2/5
The rooms were dirt
- 4/5
Very easy check in. Nice breakfast in the morning.
- 4/5
The location is great and close to everything, especially the school. We drove around and explore the area. We had a great time. The accommodation is good. Some maintenance is needed but it is clean and comfortable. Our overall experience is good.
- 4/5
Sound proofing the room from outside sounds.

We were visiting a friend in Davis and West Sacramento (about 20 minutes away). Our rooms were ready when we arrived, the facility was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast! We also appreciated the complimentary coffee, ice water, and fruit available throughout the day. The pool was a bit small, but it wasn’t crowded, so it worked out well. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable, we’ll definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Good price for the stay
- 5/5
Pool looked good, although we didnt have time to use it. Excellent value.
- 4/5
Wonderful staff. Kinda noisy right off the freeway but it was very clean and easy to get in and out of the parking lot
- 4/5
The staff was wonderful!
- 4/5
Quick stay in Davis for the night. Coffee was great. Room beds were a tad smaller than expected.
- 5/5
La Quinta gave me affordable, solid-quality housing for a week in Davis, CA when I needed it for a mixed trip (partly work, partly non-work). A very kind desk clerk let me check into a good room 2.5 hours before the formal check-in time, which was invaluable (I was exhausted from several previous days of work). Uber transportation was fast and reliable; walking to central Davis was a bit longish but not unreasonable or undoable. A clothes washer and dryer on my room floor was very helpful indeed for refreshing my traveling wardrobe. The staff in general were courteous and helpful. Morning breakfasts were monotonous but got the job done. Definitely a strong option for visits to Davis.

Hotel staff was nice and rooms were clean, enjoyed my stay !
- 4/5
Nice check in staff . Comfortable room although thermostat had a mind of its own. Slept well. Decent shower. Adequate breakfast included.
- 4/5
I go to La Quinta in Davis, CA because the fireworks in Sacramento are so loud and constant that I would have to keep my dog heavily medicated, if we stayed home. La Quinta is “Dog Friendly” and walking with him around the hotel area in the morning is pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff straightened, made the bed, left clean towels, soap. The room seemed a little worn. It seemed to be a little more noisy.
- 3/5
The lady that checked us in was awesome!! The location was good but we had a noisy neighbor above us. They decided to leave early so we heard them at 4 in the morning for almost an hour walking loudly and slamming doors. Not good insulation!!
- 5/5
A very convenient washer and dryer on the floor of my hotel room! This is a *big* deal when you are traveling on a long trip and have accumulated a lot of used clothes. I was able to easily and conveniently get all my clothes freshly washed and dried again, so I had a full wardrobe for the rest of the trip. Very, very appreciated. Other parts of the property are generally agreeable as well.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for short trip, We enjoyed breakfast and room were clean
- 2/5
Many things about this location were just fine. The fact that the king bed provided was nothing more than a futon mat on a box spring was not.
- 5/5
Very good location.
- 5/5
I love this La Quinta Inn! I have stayed here several times since my daughter attends UC Davis. It's not that far from UCD, there is a Starbucks, an IHOP, and other restaurants within walking distance. The location is quiet, the vehicles are safe, the breakfast is nice and the staff are wonderful. It was so nice to be greeted this last time I stayed and recognized! I can't recommend this hotel enough.
- 4/5
I could hear the traffic and the people in the rooms next to me.
- 4/5
Your mobility room was a welcomed relief. I have a balance issue and I was able to walk in/out of the shower without having to lift up my feet. Thank you.
- 5/5
Customer service was excellent. Staff support was great.
- 4/5
La Quinta in Davis was very pleasant. Reasonably priced. Room and common areas were clean, pool was welcoming. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Our stay was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Would stay here again.
- 2/5
the property is not what it listed on the website, it is not as clean as is indicated, there is no restaurant as advertised and the there is no pool, it is not operational, and the training room is limited. Also the room cleaning is by request only.
- 5/5
We had a silverfish in the room. Otherwise it was good. A 4&1/2.
- 2/5
La Quinta's location is nice for UC Davis. Our room was unacceptable and we were not given any help by the staff. Our King size bed had a 4 inch thick mattress on it and we could feel the wood of the box springs. It was the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever seen. When I complained the employee had nothing to say not even sorry or let me offer you a discount. Nothing. When I was at the desk another guest overheard and they showed me their room and they had a regular mattress at least 10-12 inch thick for their king bed. I'm very disappointed and because I didn't receive any customer service, I would never recommend this hotel. We come to Davis often and there are a lot of options that are better for the money. I would like management to contact me.
- 5/5
Good location for access to city and university
- 1/5
Woen out carpets, missing lights in hall ways, the Davis facility was worn out and a dump. Elevator was a problem, breakfast area was way
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean and comfy. Free Breakfast was good too. Easy free parking. What a deal!
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Liked it. Recommend
- 4/5
Location was excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable
- 1/5
The man at the front desk was no help. The room was dirty, the pool was dirty, and we booked for 5 people and it only slept 4 (we booked a room that said sleeps 5). No roll away beds to maybe fix that either. Tried to contact a manager and they’ve refused to even respond.
- 5/5
very friendly staff, good continental breakfast, close to restaurant and UC Davis campus.
- 3/5
Paper thin walls (with noisy children next door in my case), minimal breakfast, no gym, carpets and mattresses have seen better days. Stay here if you must, but try for something better. Not recommended.
- 5/5
Very pleasant
- 3/5
We were visiting UC Davis, so the property was close to the campus which was great. We stayed in a room with 2 double beds. The room and bathroom were definitely outdated and water pressure wasn’t great. However, beds were comfy and staff were really friendly.
- 5/5
Walking distance to UCDavis and restaurants, etc, the walk is safe, but not lovely. Its kinda in an out of the way place.
- 4/5
Great waffles, but no scramble eggs. Thanks

Courtney made all the difference in the world. She provided the best customer service ever. Great customer service all around excet our check out front dest person. No need to say her name. Courtney made up for it. This is where we will stay as long as Courtney is there. Thanks you God Bless You 🙏
