The people who are at the front desk are amazing and accommodating. Good complimentary breakfast! There were other guests eating and drinking at the pool. The rules said no food etc and literally this guy had pizza and beer in the hot tub. Would monitor that better so other guests can enjoy the facilities..

The staff were very nice to us, the breakfast was excellent, all was very clean. Because of this hotel, I will now look for Holiday Inn Express hotels.

Everything was mostly good here. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Room was clean, and everything looked to be in good order. No real complaints. Only comments, for me bed was pretty hard and tough. They have food options but didn’t look very appealing there is an ihop right next door as well. No noise and close to the college for our trip.

Our stay was great and just a 6 minute drive to our event center for my daughters cheer competition. Regular breakfast opens at 7am our meet time for our team was 7:30am. A big thanks to the staff who opened up breakfast at 6am to accommodate for all sports events going on this weekend.

Friendly, professional, courteous staff. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, just like the rest of the building. They have Dove products in the bathrooms! Beds, pillows and covers are so comfortable. Very quiet and plenty of parking. Places to eat are within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast is a feast, so many options, and it's delicious. Definitely making this a place to stay in Davis.

The room was very stuffy even after we left the AC on for 2 hours while we went to dinner. The bathroom doesn't have a fan so it gets muggy an d hot in there after some showers. The neighbor above us sounded like they were doing laps and the floor was creaky to make it worse.

My allergies didn’t act up, that’s my standard of clean room, beddings and towels. The staff were very courteous and professional. We had a peaceful and quiet night, so I extended another night. Great breakfast. Close to the UCD campus, we came to visit my daughter. We already checked out at 11AM but I had to attend an online conference for couple more hours, I was ok staying in the lobby but I was offered the conference room. There’s also an Asian restaurant walking distance, the food is very nutritious, didn’t spike my blood sugar! Who wouldn’t want to come back in this hotel esp. if you have a student at UCD— a home away from home! Also, very close EV supercharger!

Didn't like that the alarm on the clock radio went off at 6 am. I've had this happen to me before at other hotels. I really think housekeeping should be sure the alarm is off after a guests checks out of the hotel. The ceilings are not sound proof at all. Don't know what the people on the 3rd floor were doing but they were up very early doing what sounded like laps in the room.

Our stay was perfect! Very comfortable and clean. It's our second time staying there and we hope to spend more time there in the future.

Room spotless, staff nice. Lots of noise in parking lot and outside door at night, which was disturbed sleep. Terrible decaf Keurig coffee. Too much plastic (plastic cups individually wrapped with plastic, Keurig cups, etc.) and no recycling bin. Breakfast was good and would have been very good if there had been butter pats for the English muffins.

When I got to the hotel from ordering the room or paying for the room fully through hotels.com got here to check in six hours later just for them to say they don’t have it or my information they have my information but trying to charge me the second time after I paid it already my receipt won’t work show them that my email confirmation didn’t work showed him that waste of money.

We were on the second floor and the noise from the people above walking was incredibly loud. Upon check in our room was open, we checked the room for safety

My husband and I stayed her with our 4 teens for one night. The room was a little smaller than I was thinking, but we had enough room. It was very quiet, super clean and didn't smell bad like some hotels can. The beds were comfortable; however the hideaway couch had a super thin mattress which was very uncomfortable. The blanket provided for the hideaway was very scratchy and reminiscent of a hospital blanket. The staff was friendly and polite. There was alot of selections for breakfast and it was fresh. My kids were disappointed that the pool was closed, something we didn't know when we booked.

Our room was very spacious and clean. Nothing to do with the hotel, but did not like the “soft water” in the area that makes you feel like you’re always soaped up. We were on the second floor and the occupants above us had very heavy feet; loud above. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, nice hotel!

When I walked into my room, it smelled clean. It was not musty or moldy or fragrant just clean. Breakfast was very good. Freshly ground coffee, hot cinnamon rolls, push a button and you get two pancakes. Even the stir sticks are individually packaged. Very good selections with three milk choices. Great

Look the stay is nice rooms are very clean and maintained and the breakfast is very well worth it…but that extra 150 deposit charge that doesn’t get returned in like 7-10 days is not cool lol. Stay here if you want guranteed cleanliness but you better be able to spend an extra 150 after you’ve already bought the room

Everything was pretty great except the cockroaches in the bathroom. I’ve stayed here many times over the past few years. It’s always clean. This time when I went to take a shower, there was a roach in the tub. When I went to the bathroom in the morning, there were a few that scurried somewhere when I turned on the light.

Convenient location, check-in slow as molasses

Our ground floor room was not sufficiently "sound proof" from some screaming young kids in the next room to us.... They were very disruptive.... Also we were given a "handicapped" room with the walk in shower that had perhaps no more than a 1" lip. The drain in the shower was very slow allowing water to pool and run out onto the bathroom floor. We advised the daytime desk clerk and the maintenance folks took good care of it.

It was an unplanned late night stay. For being last minute, the staffing was very polite and room given to us was very clean and ready. Room was spacious and and everything looked on the newer side. AC worked amazingly! Overall we were impressed with our stay and would definitely stay again.

Clean but terrible AC noise throughout the night

I was pleasantly surprised about the value for this hotel. Parking was easy. The room was very big and comfortable. The pool was great. This was an impromptu booking that I made about 15 min before checking in. My son and I were about an hour and a half’s drive from home for a baby shower, but were unprepared for the heat in the area, 4 hours outside in over 100 degrees made us both so tired, so we decided to stay somewhere with a pool & relax for the night. BEST. DECISION. EVER. The front desk team was super nice and accommodating. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. A big plus is also that they use Dove products. As I was pretty unprepared for an overnight trip, I was happy with this because I have super sensitive skin and can rarely use the hotel products. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!

Also, was told we could stay till 1 pm since I got there 3 hours past their check in, only to be woken up at 11 and told to leave. Front desk was rude, and not understanding of my situation or concerns. Will not be returning to this specific hotel, because the front desk “manager”.

Need to be aware that the check-in is not 24 hrs even though the front desk is available. It closes at 3 am. After that you will have to pay a penalty of the day rent even if you had paid for that day. Otherwise everything else is ok. Highly recommend
