Coming in late from a flight and preparing for a cruise, this was perfect. The shuttle was a quick call and we were picked up immediately. The room was spacious and the breakfast was convenient but lacking.

The breakfast was good, automatic pancake maker was cool all of which was complimentary but I must say the ease of having an extended amount of drinks, snacks AND FROZEN ICE CREAM for an additional charge was convenient. The room was clean as expected. The staff was a true pleasure to interact with. We will be returning. Kudos to the your staff!

It was close to airport, and the shuttle service was good. Arrived late and we just wanted to shower and go to sleep. It would have been nice if the shampoo bottle wasn't empty.

We will definitely be staying here again. My 9 year old complained that the room was a bit small but I thought it was perfect for our family of 4.The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was really food for the price! You should definitely check out the small bar at the end of the block!!!!

The shower pressure is horrible, couldn’t get the soap off. My shower also had pubic hairs all over it and wasn’t cleaned well from the previous stay.

U liked the hotel and the property but it was never advertised that we would have to pay deposit, they also did not make it known that there was no parking only valet parking that was very deceitful. But the stay was nice and the experience was good. My package was collected and that was smooth.

Neither the soap nor the shampoo dispensers in the shower had been replenished. Unfortunately, we didn't discover this until I was already in the shower. Definitely an unpleasant surprise.

Aprox. between 4 and 5 in the morning someone tried to enter my room while we where sleeping. They did open the door but if it wasnt for external lock they would have made it in to the room. It was a scary situation especially for my two daughters of 8 and 11 y/o.

Called to confirm booking a day before. Asked specifically about using a different card to pay at hotel, due to one person arriving first after 6pm. Was assured she could use her card. She arrived to no reservation, no room and left to figure it out. Beyond disappointing is an understatement

I've been to plenty Tru by Hilton hotels for years and this is the worst. When I first walk in the room the bathroom had a half roll of toilet paper not to mention the toilet was clogged up before I could even use and not enough towels for me and my partner. Rooms were not properly clean and barely could get the TV to work. Valet was taking 20-30 mins to park and retrieve my car. The next time I'm in town I will be finding elsewhere and I could barely get the help from the desk.

The rooms were clean, but pretty bear. No drawers or dresser, no closet. Okay for just an overnight stay. Breakfast was just okay. Pool table in the lobby was a nice touch, our group played pool the evening we arrived.

This was a quick last minute stay due to a flight cancellation and it was one of the few that offered a free 24 hour airport shuttle (which is why I chose this place). Easy to book online, friendly staff, clean and like the 24 hour coffee since I left too early to enjoy the breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. This was conveniently near Ft Lauderdale airport and I would recommend it if you need an airport hotel. Can’t speak to being close to stores or area attractions as I was not here long enough.

The cooling system was so loud that it woke me up every time it turned on. Otherwise fine hotel.

The rooms were ok, the linens were ripped and mended very haphazardly. We asked for towels twice before getting them. Breakfast was gross, the sausage had been microwaved too long so they were hard and cold . The hard boiled eggs were smashed and the a scrambled eggs were off (maybe they were powdered eggs). When we arrived and asked for hotel pickup, the lady that answered the phone was not very helpful, we tried to ask her questions about the pickup location and she just kept saying just go outside the doors, she appeared to just want to get off the phone?!?!? We finally figured it out, and found the shuttle pickup location. Later we walked through the lobby and I recognized the voice from the phone call, the receptionist was on a personal phone call and that explained why she couldn’t talk to me, she wanted to get back to her personal phone call. We stayed here before and had a “meh” experience and after this trip, we won’t be back.

Decent for overnight stay before or after cruise. Airport shuttle pick up is on schedule after we notified the hotel. There are not much going in the area but we did enjoy a quick bite at a restaurant across the street. Breakfast in the hotel has good varieties. Hotel location is near to cruise port, easy to get Lyft. Overall, it's value for money.

It's a pretty basic hotel with no closet and a really small room. There aren't any good restaurants or shops nearby. The only thing worth mentioning is that the staff is super helpful.

We stayed at the Tru one day before departure on our Disney Cruise. Good place to stay with great food at walking distance. Free shuttle from airport. They do provide shuttle service to the cruise ships for $15 per person. Rooms are very large and clean. Nice Gym. There is no swimming pool, no restaurant on premises. Otherwise we were content with our choice. The beach is not far if you want to swim. Maybe a 20-30 minute walk.

The first room given to me had not been cleaned. They immediately rectified the problem and provided me with a room that had been cleaned.

Overall, the hotel was nice. The only issue was me booking through Expedia. I reserved two queen beds and I wind it up with one king bed because the hotel did not have any double beds available and I was informed that because I had gone through a third-party there was nothing they could do. That was sad but everything else was great.

We stayed only for a couple hrs to sleep between getting off our cruise and flying home. Staff were super friendly and helpful with getting free shuttle to airport set up. The shuttle was great! Rooms were spacious and clean with everything you'd need. The view seeing airplanes take off was a huge bonus for my 4 kids. Really good location, too. Close to stores and food. Made not having a vehicle not an issue at all. Would definitely recommend!!

Room could have been cleaner. Hotel needs renovations. Neighbourhood a bit sketchy. Valet service- things taken out of vehicle. Reported but nothing done. For the price we paid, this hotel fell below expectation.

The only issue I had was the shuttle. Most shuttles you wait in the lobby. Apparently you have to wait outside not much space outside in the front. I booked a shuttle then i asked the front desk and there I was told you have to go outside after waiting and see no word on the shuttle. The front desk said they called the shuttle and they will pick us up as it go to two of their hotels. The shuttles comes I tell him were going to airport, he tells me that he cant take us as he is on a schedule. He almost put us on but keep complaining about schedule. I tell him it's ok. I booked a Uber. Then I see the shuttle at the other hotel. The driver is outside the shuttle talking with another man, no one in shuttle and he didn't seem as in a rush. This got me frustrated as he kept saying he's a schedule and acting that he can't take us to the airport. The front desk specially called him as he was nearby and he clearly didn't have any passengers

I had a quick stay here. All tru Hilton locations are consistently good in my opinion. Free breakfast, airport shuttle, provide water, convenient location etc. I definitely recommend!

Staff at front desk was rude and dismissive.

The check in took 45 mins and the room reserved was not available. The his property was understaffed and poorly run. The Expedia help was none other exsistant.

The desk line was five deep at midnight. Fortunately, we had already checked in.

I don’t believe the comforter on the bed was changed as I could smell a “sleep” smell on it from others. Needless to say, I didn’t use it. Staff were friendly and nice on check in and check out and the breakfast was good with variety.

If I were to stay longer, I would not rate it as high - no drawers or closet so all of our items were out in the open. We left too early to try the breakfast, so I cannot rate it. I did not like that parking had to be valet.... I would rather self-serve.

During the week before our visit, I emailed the hotel to request information on the airport shuttle. I didn't receive a response. When we landed I called the hotel and press '1' to request the shuttle. The driver answered and was incomprehensible but we gathered enough to go to airport shuttle waiting area outside. We called back after about 20 minutes and again couldn't understand a word. After an hour two shuttles showed up that were completely full so they left without us. Rather than wait and risk not getting a ride we took an Uber at our expense. I left a message for the hotel manager and got no response. So if the shuttle is what draws you to this hotel, look elsewhere.

Area around was loud (traffic) and walls thin, come hear neighbors. The room could have been cleaner. Bathroom was clean. Good place if you need somewhere close to the airport.

The staff upom check-in was very nice and welcoming.. However, when its time to shower i had to run the shower for about 5 min to ensure hot water was available. When the hot water came in the water was not not but lukewarm. The drinks in the cooler ar guest services was not cold to drink right away however, it was not snd not appealing to my first night stay. For thr most part the stay was ok for my first time using Tru by Hilton.

It was just ok. Nothing stood out, not the staff, the rooms, the location. Nothing horrible or bad. Fine for 1 night when you must wake up at 3am to catch a flight.

However, it’s not worth paying high rates. I paid 180$ per night, which felt fair. Later, I saw prices close to $400 per night, and for a modest hotel, it’s simply not worth that amount. At that price, there are much better options available.

Good emergency stay after being stranded

Everyone was polite. The lobby was nice while we waited since we showed up so early. Glad there was a pool table to play while waiting, and the car valet offered, which we used.

Everything was clean and updated. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was well stocked and delicious. The only bad thing I could say was there was no place to store our clothes. No dressers or cabinets at all. We basically had to keep all our stuff in our suitcases and keep pulling it out whenever we needed things. There was a closet with a few hangers but it wasn’t big enough to hold all our stuff.

Staff friendly and room clean…. But very basic. Only a desk chair in the room for two people to use. No other furniture. The A/C was very noisy, electric shades didn’t work, no ice bucket in the room and even though they advertised an airport shuttle there was none.

Was woken up by a Smoke alarm that kept going off and they came up multiple times to “fix” and never did. They did not make any effort to find the room to fix the detector. It ruined my trip as it would not stop chirping the entire time.

The price quoted and reserved months earlier was over $100 more. How do I get this fixed? Please have one of your reps contact me. I just got off a 2wk. Cruise and saw this.Check-in took an hour. We weren’t given a room until 2AM. The floors made my clean feet black. We will never go there again.

Staff was great. We used the airport shuttle which was also great. Room was comfortable although the road noise made it difficult to sleep. Windows seem poorly insulated and it sounded as though they were open, although they weren’t. We didn’t sleep well and wouldn’t stay here again.

Decent room but mattress needs to be changed. There is a body imprint on one side of the bed. Also, the valet takes forever and they don’t have self park so I waited 10-15 mins each time I picked up and dropped off my car. This hotel was amazing when new but it has come a long way down since then.

Poor Customer Service

The valet was awful they messed up my husband’s new Rims and we seen him hit the curb and all he could say is oh sorry unacceptable. We were supposed to receive a call from the manager at valet it’s been days and still nobody has called.

Very poor customer service at the front counter. (No name tag to identify her.) and almost minimal words from her to explain why things weren’t progressing on our check in. Breakfast was not replenished in a timely fashion leaving people standing around waiting for food, plus the toaster wouldn’t even brown the toast (no setting on it). The shower leaks out under the door causing a small flood on the bathroom floor.

Transport from airport was pain, they use a subcontracted company. The driver was down right NASTY. No hot water. Nobody I spoke to had hot water but the desk said “I wasn’t aware of an issue”, lies. App would work one minute and not the next. Bathroom floor was dirty, I wiped up water from the shower and the towel was filthy when I picked it up. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were useless.

Very clean and quiet rooms, excellent staff, love the valet parking, located in the center of everything and really close to the airport. I would definitely come here again.

When I came into my room, it was 62°. I went to turn up the heat, which is an option on the unit and the wall unit, and it wouldn’t come on. When I called the front desk that’s when he told me most rooms don’t have heat and he offered blankets. When I went to pick up the blankets is when he told me that none of the rooms actually have heat. It was actually warmer in the hall and outside although someone mentioned the temps outside had gotten down to 35 within the past week. For a number of reasons, I tend to run cool and while I understand this is South Florida, I was still pretty shocked to check into a Hilton property and not have heat be available. Other than that, the hotel was clean and perfectly acceptable for an overnight stay. The staff was nice and tried to be helpful so I’ll definitely give them five stars. This was fine for me, but if traffic noise bothers you, US1is right in front and stayed busy throughout the night, including lots of motorcycles and cars, revving, and what sounded almost like racing in the wee hours.

Great place to stay pre or post cruise. Convenient shuttle to FLA and Cruiseport. Rooms were nice. Courtyard is peaceful outdoor place to relax.

Facility was excellent, the neighborhood was lacking amenities and shopping within walking distance.

Room was nice, hotel staff were great. Gym was very good. The hotel doesn’t have a pool just an fyi. The area around the hotel is rough. Some decent places to eat but walking around with my family didn’t feel comfortable. If you plan to just stay at the hotel and catch your cruise or flight it’s great. If you want to walk around an explore I’d stay elsewhere

The room was nice but the hand soap needed to be refilled as it was slow it was hard to get anything out of it.

The hotel is good and the room was clean. The staff delivered extra pillows for us when we requested them. However, we waited for an hour for the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and the sign on the shuttle for tiny and placed on the back of the shuttle, we had to chase it or we would have to wait another hour. Good thing the driver saw us and stopped.

The hotel front desk staff were not proficient in their work. We waited for half an hour before we could find our room. What's worse, the two adults and two children in our family were assigned to two separate rooms. It was a very bad check-in experience.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The free airport shuttle was a big plus and made arrival very convenient. We were also able to easily book transportation to the Port of Miami for the next day directly at the hotel, which saved time and hassle. The lobby had a pool table, adding a fun and relaxed vibe, and beer was available for purchase as well. Overall, it was a good stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Shuttles were amazing

Dirty lobby area & they canceled my reservation that I had booked months prior to the stay, without me knowing about it until we arrived to check in just after midnight! They told the next person the SAME thing & shuttled us across the street the their ‘sister hotel’. Just wild!

Great Room, located close to some solid eating options. The free breakfast was one of the best ive had at a hotel. We cruised out of Port Miami but flew into FLL and it was an easy spot to travel from.

Very comfortable stay

Breakfast was good and the staff super friendly, they did what they could to get us checked in early as they were dealing with a very chaotic lobby of others trying to check-in early after coming off their cruise ships. Overall it was a good stay, we ended up needing to stay an additional night and moved over to the Wyndham across the street (their sister hotel) due to the addition of a restaurant, laundry facilities, and a pool for the same price as this hotel. The rooms are very minimally stocked which makes sense for an airport style hotel.

This is a bad example of trying to make an old property new. It is still in a sketchy neighborhood where you wouldn’t walk at night. The shuttles have drop off and pickup in a rundown parking area since they can’t stop in front of the hotel on the very busy street. The room itself was marginally comfortable but DEFINITELY not 4 star! Breakfast was just OK.

The check in was easy. Whatever deodorizer they use in the hallways was so overwhelming we could never go back.

The rooms were small. Only chair in the room was the desk chair. Check-In and check-out were very hectic. Too many people getting off the cruise ships or going to the airport.

Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable to the point that we missed our Uber ride to the cruise terminal because we overslept. I really like this Hilton chain hotel in Ft Lauderdale for its cleanliness, friendly staff and convenience both to the airport and cruise terminal. It is definitely going to be our go to place to stay now on prior to cruising.

The hotel is located near major road and highway. At night it was noisy with traffic. Location of the hotel is good because it is close to FLL airport and Port Everglades. Not good because it is not an interesting area to walk around. Not walkable to the beach. Many reviews said the nearby restaurant The Fish Grill was good. In my opinion, they were just Ok. The shuttle from the FLL airport to the hotel is free. But be prepared to stand and wait outdoor in a crowded bus stop area for a long time. The receptionists were friendly but always busy so check in and check out can be long.

Overall a decent property for a short stay uf you're catching a cruise or flight. My only issue involved check-in. We arrived an hour and a half early and when I first asked about checking in early if the room was ready, the guy at the reception said the policy is no one can check in before 3:00. At that point there were rooms ready, and there were 24 people out in the crowded lobby with lugage piled everywhere just sitting around waiting until the magic hour of 3:00 arrived. When I said it makes no sense to not go ahead and check folks in if the rooms are ready, he said it was not possible. Eventually, he called his manager and they allowed us to check in early, but it unnecessarily left a bad taste in many people's mouths. The policy should be to allow folks to check in if their room is ready, no hesitation. That's the most hospitable and customer-friendly option. Of course, if the room isn't ready, people understand that. But if the rooms are ready as they were in this case, do the right thing and get us in and settled.

Valet parking is really your only option and it costs 15.00 per day extra. Free internet is not really adequate and it is $5 plus change per day for the higher speed internet. Breakfast was shut down early several days. Room was uncomfortably small.

It just a basic hotel with a bed, bathroom with minimal amenities, soap and shampoo, that's it. Upon arrived the airport, I called for shuttle pick up which is included, I've been waiting outside the airport for almost 45 mins. I booked the transfer to the cruise port on the next day, it was delayed for half an hour. I asked if we can cancel and refund, so that we can call Uber instead but they said it was non refundable even it was the mess up on their side. Don't book the transfer, it's much easy and controllable with Uber, at least better price and time consuming. I won't stay on this hotel again. It's not worth at all.

Room was nice, staff was decent, bathtub drain was cloggy but the most disturbing part- I went down to ask for a travel toothpaste and they “ran out”. It is a very basic thing that all hotels carry, the staff just shrugged it off without apology and did not offer any assistance in finding any. Not a good experience.

We stayed here a year ago the night prior to a cruise departing from Port of Miami. We were very happy with it then, so we booked it again for another cruise this year.

Stayed here after a cruise because it was cheaper than getting a same day flight. Best decision ever. As a female traveling alone I am hyper aware of my surroundings. It was very walkable with antique stores and an award winning ice cream parlor that super cool within walking distance. Room was perfect. I got there at 930am for a 3pm check in. I called ahead and they were able to get me in a room right away which was amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle to airport was easy to set up and was on time. It was absolutely perfect and I felt safe. Will definitely stay again if sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale!

Not one of the hand sanitizers was filled. I was at the hotel for 4+ days and never filled. Not one employee had a name tag on. The gentleman who checked me in was great at getting me a room early, as I came off a cruise and I had the Norovirus. I appreciate that. Other than that, every time I came to the desk, it was like I was bothering whoever was working

The only thing I didn’t care for was there was no parking other than valet for $15 per night. The Main Street had no entrance. You had to enter from a side street. This confused us and took longer to check in. Do no park in the parking structure next door.

Decent hotel in an okay neighborhood!

This location was extremely inconvenient and the parking was quite confusing. The actual hotel I'm sure how it was because the absolutely terrible staff mainly two people: Sam and Phillipe (if that was their real names) were absolutely terrible and I will never go to this hotel ever again. I know every trip is different but I wish this trip had gone well, but it surely didn't. I try not to leave negative reviews since every person is different and every place is different, but I can not let this hotel slide. I wish I had never reserved this hotel. 'Sam' is terrible and is apparently a front-end 'manager' and I know this might never matter to him or anyone but trust me he is rude and arrogant and I know now that I will gladly never go there again.
