    The overall experience was very disappointing. We were given a very dark and dingy room which barely had any lighting, when asked for a better lit room they mentioned all their rooms are the same. Bathroom was quite dirty, the bathtub had rust stains, when complained they said that the cleaning only happens every alternate days and they didn’t bother. The staff was not welcoming at all and didn’t bother. They did not have any glassware china in the suite. The kitchenette was horrible and dirty. The breakfast barely had any options and was poorly managed! I would say it’s totally not worth the money and it being a MARRIOTT chain I definitely expected a lot more than this.

    I actually really liked this hotel, the location is perfect. The lobby is nice and always has refreshments. The little store next to the front desk is super convenient. I also enjoyed the pool area with my friends. Staff was friendly, they had complimentary mimosas at the front desk one night. I was too tired to go down for breakfast so I can’t comment on the food quality. Only complaints are: the room had 2 tvs and 1 remote, the jacuzzi didn’t appear to be cleaned daily, and house keeping did not come at all after 2 nights and half a day. We stayed for 3 nights. I had to call the front desk twice and go down to speak to someone on my last day to have our room cleaned since we had no toilet paper or towels left to shower that night/morning before check out. If they would have cleaned the room on the second or third day without being asked I would have gave them 5 stars

    Two night stay after returning to Port from a cruise. Arrived way before check in and staff was very accommodating with holding our luggage and notifying us when our room was ready. Close proximity to Dania Pointe area with make shops, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. Delicious and a variety of hot and cold breakfast items. The pool and hot tub were very well maintained and not too busy. FREE shuttle to the airport as well. Would definitely stay here again.

    Very clean and conveniently located with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Pool area with hot tub is nice to enjoy. Rooms very spacious. Breakfast had lots of options with hot and cold items! You get a welcome bag upon arrival with snacks and water for each guest. I thought that was very nice. Coffee and tea offered in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again!

    When we brought these issues to staff, there was little to no effort made to accommodate us. We asked for extra blankets to be brought to our room, and the staff member who assisted us was rude and argumentative. We also requested a slightly later checkout since we spent a significant amount of time dealing with the laundry situation, but our request was denied due to our Bonvoy membership status. Overall, the customer service was poor, and there was a lack of understanding or willingness to accommodate guests. This experience did not meet my expectations, and I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

    The hotel was very nice and surround by the main highway , also restaurants and shopping plazas . I would stay here again but the kids were running up and down the hallways late at night . Overall good hotel and location is everything . Parking was horrible .

    Overall, the stay was alright. Staff were kind and helpful upon arrival and during the stay. The location has shopping and dining options within walking distance. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet. We were able to utilize luggage hold while waiting for check in & airport transport which were a bonus. The room was capacious and clean for the most part. There was some crumbled up tissue on the bathroom floor behind the toilet. There was also some blood spots in the tub. Otherwise, everything was good.

    Great hotel just don’t get the room overlooking pool noisy and they must leave the music on at night somewhere down stairs we could hear it all night. Plus freeway noisy that side of hotel. Other wise great staff, held the baggage until room ready, food nearby walking distance. Check out a breeze. Free Shuttle from airport and a paid shuttle to cruise ship. Worked great!

    Cons: uncomfortable pillows although they seemed new, garbage trucks at 4:30am, a lot of highway noise in the morning, aesthetically the decor and lighting is stark white, so it's not a room that's nice to stay in, our window shade was broken and toilet barely worked, staff stood around and didn't refresh the breakfast room so it was sometimes out of coffee and a few key items. Breakfast was similar to a BW+ or HI Express. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Overall 3/5. Would stay again in a pinch but might seek a different hotel next time.

    Clean and large room, with a comfortable bed. Decent size bathroom, however the shower pressure was on the low side, although water was hot. Main room issue was, as the hotel is right next to I-95 and a major street, traffic noise was not blocked by the windows and frequently heard throughout the night. Because of that light sleepers may consider staying in another hotel. Breakfast was a case of "had better, had worse". Nice orange juice but terrible coffee. Very close walking distance to places to eat and shops. Very convenient for getting to FLL and cruise terminals. Would stay here again, but ask for a room at the front of the hotel, to reduce noise from I-95.

    Took over an hr to be picked up from the airport . Then got to the hotel around 1130pm and there was a long long of people waiting to check in. One older lady checking everyone in. It was almost 130am before we got checked in . Absolutely ridiculous and we lost an hr of sleep to begin with . The transportation was suppose to be included abd we ended up paying 60.00 20 for each of us.

    Hotel is very dated. Almost no hot water and for some reason we ended up with an Accessible room which means there was literally no countertop on which to put anything in the bathroom. The bathroom fan is tied into the light and is extremely loud so it was very disruptive to use the restroom during the night.

    The outside was nice and it was close to the airport. The rooms were unbelievably run down and not clean or kept up well. They were in dire need of renovations. To make matters worse, there were bugs in my first room and food crumbs behind the beds. We asked to be moved and they moved us to another room which was just as run down minus the bugs. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I couldn’t even bring myself to take my socks off because I didn’t want to step on the floor. It was awful. Do not stay here.

    The pool was nice. Beds comfy Housekeeping never did a refresh so we had to ask for new towels and our trash was overflowing. Room smelt a little musty. The remote working both TVs was a little annoying (turn one off and it turns on the other or vice versa). Front desk was also so busy so we did not have time to ask questions about amenities or activities nearby. Adding some fruit at breakfast would be a nice touch.

    Pool area was very nice. Rooms very dated. Dust all over, rusty fixtures, and lamp not functioning. Stayed 2 nights and no room service provided. Had to call to get towels. Very unorganized front desk. I paid for room using Expedia points and my credit card. Front desk stated room wasn’t paid. I produced receipts and was still called by th front desk my second day there stating that they needed my credit card to charge the room though it was already paid and I had provided proof on check in. Difficulty with check out as well because the room wasn’t showing as paid. Such a hassle! I’m worried what charges I will need to fight on my credit card. Shuttle service was very disorganized as well. My kids did enjoy the pool area and the breakfast was okay. The lady who took our bags and helped out at breakfast was very kind and helpful. If only all the staff were friendly like that! We definitely won’t be staying there again. The hassle was definitely not worth the few good things.

    Checking in but they did have a new system checking you in. I was charged 2 times for one night. Paid booking con. When I arrived I also was charged at front desk . I told them i already paid and they promised i would not be charged twice but looking at my bank account I was. Very upset about this.

    The hotel was very clean, rooms were very spacious and clean. Pool was well kept though we did have a raccoon visit us this morning at the pool. Few stray cats but they didn’t seem to be bothered or bother anyone. Lots of food choices and shopping in the area. We will definitely stay again as it was close to the cruise port and airport.

    Told the shuttle was 20 minutes away and it took over an hour to be picked up at the airport. Given a handicapped room that had no A/C when we arrived. An engineer came and did something to get it started so that it was not suffocating. The room was meant for deaf clients and was at the intersection of several highways and was beside a huge sign that lit the room. There was no hairdryer in the room and the iron and ironing board needed attention. Because we were booked for two nights, we asked to move to another room. They refused, using the excuse that Expedia had indicated a handicapped room on the reservation and "there was something on our profile that we should take up with Expedia". They maintained that all the other rooms in the hotel were already taken for the second night. The cleaning staff were very nice and had no problem with us moving, but we were refused by the front desk women on duty. One of the housekeeping staff brought my husband's backpack that he had forgotten, down to the lobby. When I asked the front desk who had returned it, the front desk woman thought I was accusing her of something and started phoning the housekeeping manager. Her coworker told her that she wasn't listening and that I was trying to get her name to thank her. She said "I dont know her name, shes just a cleaner". I was shocked. there are at least two of these front desk women that need some further training in customer service and communication skills. I found rewarded cleaners

    I did not get the room that I chose and the rooms were cold with no heat I chose a king suite none accessible and when I get there they try to give me a too big queen I did not want that and they gained up giving me a king accessible room which did not have the necessities of a regular room. Staff was rude and not helpful at all .. they would not a accommodate my concerns at all I think this hotel is so overrated and the worset hotel I've ever booked and I wish I never booked it. I feel so taken advantage of and conned out of my money.

    The ladies in the breakfast kitchen, however, were very kind and engaging. We made a point of tipping them well. In all honesty, I will never stay at Springhill suites again. On any given day, a customer should at least receive eye contact at the front desk. A person approaching the desk should not feel like they are intruding or being a bother. That is simply proper manners and should be part of your Customer Service.

    Our flight was delayed by several hours so it had been a very long day for us. When we arrived to check in, the lobby was beautiful and Kathy at the front desk was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and welcoming. She must have known we were exhausted because she instantly offered us bottles of water and got us right up to our room so we could shower and go to sleep.     The property was “ok”. I enjoyed the convenience, walk ability to shopping, and airport shuttle. Our room however, had several lights that didn’t work, refrigerator was flimsy and not secured, and bathroom had a pedestal sink with no place for items. The bed was fairly hard and had a sore back in the morning.

    Just used the hotel for a last night when my flight was rescheduled. Leave before breakfast so couldn't evaluate, but there is a deail that is not mentioned and is important. The shuttle to airport has a limit of people in it's 30 minute travels, we tried to use the 5am but it was full as was 5:30 also. We could get in the 6am, and it was perfect, but this should be advised earlier.

    The staff were courteous. There are many restaurants and stores a short walking distance from the hotel. We were cruising so took an Uber from the hotel (reserve it the night before). There is a shuttle you can sign up for through the hotel but they charge $20 per person and it’s a big bus, while auger was less than $40 for 4 of us, but the van could hold 6.

    Rooms and furniture is outdated, washroom floor was very old and toilet was outdated. They didn't provide room service daily. Not all the staff was smiling all the time but some of them were good especially staff in the evening shift were better. Charged too much for parking where there was hardly a spot of parking available. Breakfast was not good and not enough at times. They need to improve on all these things.

    Airport shuttle had to wait for 60 mins to be picked up. Morning sure is at 6am and breakfast starts at 6am. You can get either one not both. Had to spend additional $30 they probably don’t on purpose to save on number of people who can eat breakfast. Should start the breakfast at 5.30/5.45 so people who want to take 6am shuttle can do so.

    Checked in with a very friendly staff male staff member. Went to our room which was sandwiched between 2 storage closets, kind of strange. Walked in and there was a cockroach in the shower. Went downstairs to ask for a different room and now a new rude, front desk lady was working. She didn’t care at all about my concern and told me there was no more rooms eventho I could book a room for that night online. Deadbolt didn’t work. Breakfast was good, but didn’t get much sleep listening to cars drag race near by and thinking of the cockroach all night.

    The friendly staff was very welcoming. Everyone who passed by smiled and said hello. The positive vibe among the staff was felt as was a sense that everyone works really hard and enjoys helping to make the place great. Lots of little touches like cucumber water, 24 hr coffee and hot water for tea is so important. The breakfast was very good.     Front desk staff is awesome! They were fun and made check in quick and easy. We were early and they let us store our luggage. Pool/breakfast area is very nice. Hot tub was great. Free shuttle to FLL was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

    We called for their free shuttle from the airport to the hotel which took over an hour to arrive. The original driver was supposed come get us but went home instead. I call the hotel back and asked where our driver was told they would send someone to get us. Most of the Hotels charge $8-12 per person to catch a shuttle to the cruise port and their fee was $20 per person so we called an Uber which was $14. SpringHill has seen the last of us.

    Staff was friendly, main areas were updated but rooms really were not. Rusted lamps and very old seating. They updated the rooms flooring but that’s about all. I wouldn’t recommend if you prefer a more updated room. For the price per night it should have been way nicer.

    The hotel, itself, was fine. But let me tell you about one of the staff. Our party of 6 left the hotel at 4:00 AM this morning. The lady on duty (I didn't get her name) had noticed when we checked in the day before that one of us had bad sores on her feet from walking in bad shoes. This lady, of her own accord, went to the Dollar Store and bought some ointment and cotton socks for my friend who's feet were so bad and had it waiting for her when we checked out early this morning. How very precious! She just went about her job of filling the coffee and wished us a Happy Thanksgiving as we left. Talk about above and beyond. My husband and I will be returning to your hotel in January for another cruise. The others will not be with us this time, just the two of us, but I want to look this lady up and tell her how very much we appreciated what she did for my friend.

    The facility itself has highs with several lows, and the staff were lackadaisical at best, with the exception of Natalia who expressed real interest in wanting to make our stay pleasant. Other guests also commented on how overly cool, to downright cold, the halls and common areas were. Our room had a very comfortable bed, however the bathroom door couldn't close because it was too big for the doorway and the AC/heater only blew cold air and the room felt like about 65°. We stayed there two days, but I don't plan to return.

    The evening we arrived the air conditioner wouldn’t work. They sent up a repair guy who fixed it but we noticed bells of dust inside the ac cover which he did nothing about. On day 2 at 5AM , the toilet handle broke. I took off the lid to try to get it to flush and it was disgustingly rusty. We went to the front desk about it and they were not very friendly. There was also wallpaper peeling off in the bathroom area and rusty door hinges. Housekeeping is only every 3 days and if you ask for extra towels or toilet tissue they are very skimpy about it. Very disappointing for a Marriott hotel.

    My room was freezing, so I reported it to the front desk. They sent maintenance to the room, he didn’t even come in, he left and brung back a small table top heater. I wish I could show the picture. They were so unbothered by my discomfort. Not to mention I had my elderly mother with me, they just gave her a blanket. I will never and I mean NEVER stay here again.

    The agent at the front desk that assisted me was wonderful. I wish everywhere i go people would be so nice. Stay was just a quick overnight trip between flights. Everything was fine except there were several hairs on the bathroom floor. I was too tired to ask for a different room but was kind of a turn off.Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

    The Layout of the room is very nice. We left too early to have breakfast. I'm not sure we would stay here again, their check in process leaves a lot to be desired. We requested an early check in and we were put on a waiting list. It was cruise disembarkation day, so I know there were quite a few cruises in port that day. We were told we would get a call, which after 4 hrs never occured. So we went back up to the front desk and found out a room was available. The front desk as to answering calls was totally absent. My husband called 3 times down to the front desk and no one answered and even tried calling the out the outside number and no one answered. So he walked down to the front desk and there were people there and he discussed the issue of the phone with the night manager. He called again, and they realized their phone ringer was off. This is not good. It is in a great location and I would stay in the location again but not at this hotel.

    Staff was friendly and hotel was clean and smelled good. Would’ve liked there to be gluten free options (bread, bagels, muffins, etc..) for breakfast. Only one elevator worked and was VERY slow. We tried to use the stairs and when we got to our floor (4) the door was locked so we went back down to floor 3 and that one was not locked, so we had to use the elevator to get up to 4.

    It has been a while since I last stayed, and let’s just say I won’t be back. Even with the renovations made, it still felt dated because the renovation was half done in my opinion, and not to mention I was close to the elevator, so I had to hear the elevator every time it was in use. I needed a new iron because the one in the room was burned on the bottom from the ironing board, but no one answered the phone at the front desk. And why is this lady eating her breakfast on the second floor at the top of the steps in front of the elevator? SMH

    The lobby is well decorated but this is the extent of it. It was dirty with garbage on the lounge furniture and the floor of the common areas- even food on the counter at the check in desk. The elevator and hallways were equally battered and strewn with fast food containers. But the room....I saw something on the side table between the beds and as I approached it moved. There were cockroaches in the room. Absolutely disgusting. Two more in the kitchen area. Checked out immediately and sent videos to the property manager per request. HIGHLY suggest that you avoid this motel. Very disappointed that Marriott would put their name on this property.

    Front desk staff were very unhospitable, as though we were bothering them with questions; in fact, when I was checking in, it seemed as though the young lady was trying to upcharge me. When I showed her my reservation, she acknowledged it but didn't seem apologetic at. all for the almost $200 price difference. The breakfast WAS amazing. The ladies who worked the breakfast area were sweet and kind. Housekeeping, I had 2 weird experiences, when I was coming towards the elevator with my cart to check in, the housekeeping lady cut in front of me, got in the elevator, and closed it. The second experience occurred when we were getting our towels switched out, they made our beds, took out our garbage, and just left the toilet paper, towels, and tissues on the sofa. So, of course, we didn't leave a tip.

    I didn’t like standing and waiting for twenty minutes to check in after already standing and waiting 20 minutes for the shuttle after landing at the airport. My eight year old and I were so exhausted. It appeared to be the time of a shift change and the only attendant present was dealing with what appeared to be a complicated issue with another family and they were already dealing with that issue when we arrived. It’s the longest I’ve ever waited to check in at a property.

    I have stayed at this property for a few years now. The staff has always been very nice location very convenient. I just feel as though the building needs to be updated. The rooms Are old. If you are sensitive to smells like we are you will have an issue.

    The manager, Natalie was rude. There were rooms available and we still waited over 4 hrs, in the lobby to check in. The microwave was broken and almost started a fire. There is also mold. Nobody has asked us if we needed anything or how things are. Terrible place. Plus I had to double check what they charged me because they tried to overcharge me. I am. Lt finished complaining.

    Details After a long day of traveling i wanted to get into bed and rest, pulled back the covers and their was a sirty towel lodged in-between the sheets. Went to front desk showed them a picture. I was promised Marriot point that would equal a free night stay. Night time housekeeping came to the room to change out all the bedding. Whilst he was cleaning he say another stained piece of bedding. He rook a picture ro show feomt desk. Front desk assured that they would speak to the housekeeping supervisor in the morning to see who was responsjble for the cleaning of the room prior to check in. Next day, after much needed rest my husband insoects the room further and realized the door hinge was falling off, bathroom sink is rusted ...amongst other things. I go to front desk, explain the previous night situation and this... a room change is given. In the new room AC barely workers, wifi was spotty, and the ironing board collaped multiple times while using it The manager of this property needs to take a look at their cleanliness protocols. In our three night stay the garabge was never taken out. Other guests resorted to placing their garabage outside their doors to get the attention of staff to take it out. I was quite confused as to why a room with a kitchentte would not have basic cutlery, dish soap and paper towel. I never experienced this before and was quite surprised.

    Spring Hill was above and beyond hotels I have been used to. First the room was spacious with a living room and sofa. I like that the sink is outside the washroom. Breakfast was excellent and filling. I loved the heated swimming pool. And the fact we were provided with a towel. I enjoyed the gym facilities. The best part was the free shuttle to the airport. I appreciated that a relative who did not stay at the hotel was able to use the free shuttle.

    Beds were very uncomfortable. Breakfast had options but closed early one day as they ran out of food. Pool was great. Staff at check in were not helpful and Natalie was rude and checkin was at 3 and rooms were not ready. If you go from cruise port to hotel in morning hoping to check in early you will be disappointed as we waited almost 4 hours and that was also after checking in online for 11am.
