The employees where so nice and after we had got to the hotel early they where still able to go ahead and have room ready for us. My sister and I would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel was great. Building looked excellent. In view of improving customer satisfaction, I would suggest to do something to avoid not so pleasant smell that welcomes the traveler. Another suggestion is to improve the quality of breakfast. Quality of all the hot items could be improved. Unfortunately, scrambled egg was dry and tasteless, sausage looked bad, I put it back. Everything else was good. Breakfast and room odor.

We enjoyed the breakfast and thought that the staff did a wonderful job maintaining the food throughout the open hours of the buffet. Would have enjoyed seeing more keto / low carb/ diabetic friendly options. Would have enjoyed having the coffee and tea service open for a little longer instead of being shut down immediately at close of the buffet. Our experience of the buffet was overall very good, however as mentioned previously, would have enjoyed seeing more keto / low carb/ diabetic friendly options. Also, would have liked to seen the beverages remain available outside the breakfast buffet timeline.

The bfast was good and loved the waffles and cold brew coffee options! Having said that, we got in the room and it was clear that the cleaning was rushed to get us in. The shower glass and walls were filthy with soap scum and stains. We couldn’t even shower. The bedding sheets had a hole the size of a quarter in them. My husband called the front desk to let them know and nothing was done. He is a housekeeper manager at a 5 star hotel and said there’s no way this would have passed a room inspection. We were both disappointed. I would like to be able to stay here in the future, but this experience wasn’t a good first impression.

This was a beautiful hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and our room was very clean! We cruised and came in early and we were able to have breakfast which was a very decent breakfast as well, as well as use all the amenities of the hotel like the pool and such! Unfortunately another group of people took over the pool area and where drunk, loud and started fighting which resulted in broken glass and cops being called! Otherwise it was a beautiful hotel and I cannot praise the staff enough, they were so accommodating! Room was great size and modern design as well as them having plates and cookware for the kitchen area! Definitely would stay again!

Decent enough place for the night prior to the cruise. Breakfast was pretty good. It was one of the few hotels in the area with 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch for all of us to sleep comfortably.

On this trip, I felt like I deserved an upgrade, and Residence Inn fit the bill. But the experience was so good, that my preference for hotels for future trips will be the Residence Inn. Friendly people, nice amenities and reasonable prices.

Great breakfast and Accross the street from Dunkin’ Donuts and Wendy’s if you want something else. Large rooms and we got here at noon and the room was ready.

The door locks didn’t work properly. I stayed in room 404 when the ac went out the room smelt wet and damp. The carpet needs to be cleaned and deodorized

This is by far the best Hotel I have ever rented from here in Florida to Boston, very clean, nothing of noise, spacious bedrooms, very nice staff from the front desk to the kitchen. Great variety of food for breakfast. Very convenient location in Fort Lauderdale if you are landing or taking off from the airport. 5 stars!

My only complaint is that a guest had a BM in the pool- facilities staff was aware but didn’t post a sign that pool was closed. We went to get in the pool and another guest had to point out the issue. We lounged by the pool. The facilities staff came. They used the pool net to remove most of the waste (not all). Proceeded to empty the nets content on the cement and use a garden hose to push the BM into the mulch- then place the net back on its side- there was zero sanitation done on the net. I found it extremely unsanitary to simply put human BM in the bushes along the pool walkway.

The free breakfast buffet is very good. Good choices, fresh food, and very good coffee. There was also plenty of parking even though they charge $10 a day to park and the staff was exceptionally nice. Our room was perfect.

Just not a lot of staff around to help out at the front desk. Only one guy working the desk so check in was slow.

The resident inn (RI) is very convenient for close to airport, cruise ports if you have a trip planned. The only trick when you’re requesting a shuttle service from airport to hotel you have to look for the third party contracts that you will miss many times if you look for the RI shuttle you see in the hotel.

Room was fantastic, we got one with two bedrooms and a full kitchenette and it was great for being able to cook healthier meals. Loved the location so we were close to everything but it was still quiet at night.

They had a supply truck park 5 feet from this so called "suite" window from 3 to 3:30 AM, making terrible noises and employees shouting and banging doors. Does not make much sense to stay in an airport hotel where you can't sleep.

Breakfast is good. Buffet has choices that change slightly each day. Make your own waffles, eggs , cereals with multiple topping available. Also fresh fruits available each day along with yogurt. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Pool area is nice . Gym available for use. Bbq available if you wish to use it. Laundry facilities a bonus. (Pay for use) Full kitchen in rooms was nice and great if staying for longer vacation Rooms spacious and beds comfortable. Nice size bathroom and shower. No safe in rooms was only down side. On site food available in evening was limited but ok if you didn’t want to go out for food. Didn’t have a car so can’t comment on parking. Seemed to be lots of space but not sure if there was a fee to park. Was able to print boarding passes in the media area at no charge. Small shop there with some items available if you forgot something. Would stay again if in the area. For another cruise.

For the money this was a great stay for a family of 5. Breakfast was fine, location ideal, parking good. No issues. Would stay again.

The A/C at the room did noise like bus, when asked to change room they gave us room with bad smell of burning food that we had to live with for few days, what we heard the most is " we are full there is nothing we can do"

This time of year

I had called and got directions for shuttle pick up from airport. I knew what to do. BUT when we landed in Ft Lauderdale I called the number for the shuttle and got a message that they end service at 11pm. Our flight got in later than that…ugh. I was not informed about any hours. So we had to pay for an Uber. The hotel offers shuttle to the cruise port, but we are 6 people and it would have been over $100 for the hotel shuttle to drive us 15 minutes. We opted for another Uber. The spread at breakfast was very large with several choices. Relatively good for a hotel breakfast.

Clean room, staff was great. Only drawback was that we didn't have a vehicle as we flew in for a cruise. The hotel is not within walking distance of shopping and restaurants other than a steakhouse, Wendy's and a donut shop.

Good points - beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff were nice. Having a kitchenette was very convenient. The rooms are very roomy.

The weather was not cooperative for us to use the pool though we sat outside by the pool to eat and relax. Definitely recommend staying here. We took a walk to a local market, the front desk attendant gave us an umbrella to use "just in case".

The fan in our room sounded like an airplane landing. Not every time it kicked on, just sometimes. It was awful. Vibrated the whole room. I recorded it, but the desk manager just smiled and said, “sorry.” Otherwise it was a decent place, but certainly over priced. I won’t be back.

The “shuttle bus” is really a car they send once you land and call them. We didn’t know this. We bumped into another guest who said she waited 45 minutes for the car to pick her up at the airport.

A highlight was New Year’s Eve: we had an incredible view of fireworks lighting up all across Fort Lauderdale, which was such a memorable experience. We also loved seeing the Hard Rock guitar lit up at night from our room. Breakfast was nice to have and convenient, though the variety was a bit limited. The waffles were delicious, but the eggs were not our favourite and the hash browns were a bit mushy. The coffee was extremely strong and hard to drink; however, we really appreciated that non-dairy milk options were available, as many hotels do not offer that. We were hoping to use the pool, but it was a bit too cold. A heated pool or an indoor option would have made it even better. Overall, a great stay and a place we’d definitely consider again.

Not worth the price. I could have ignored the missing towels and soap in our room, and the overpriced understocked “convenience “ store, BUT..Natural gas was leaking from a pipe leading to the outdoor waiting area for ground transportation and my entire group got sick she two days later we are still coughing and nauseous. Way to ruin our cruise.

The room was fine but not even a slice of toast left at breakfast and a half hour wait for the “booked” shuttle.

Air conditioning sound, kind of loud noise combined with fridge noise, too. Made it hard to catch sleep.

You DEFINITELY get a lot of bang for your buck with this room. It was way more space than we anticipated. The only gripe I had was that one of the lights over the end table didn't work.

The day we checked in on November 9 at approximately 3 o’clock in room 314 our toilet didn’t work. We had to call the front desk go down there numerous times engineer came up didn’t fix it. Another guy came up didn’t fix it and we were told at approximately 9 o’clock at night that we would have to come down to the first floor and use the public toilet if we had to use the bathroom we chose to stay in our room because there was no other room available for us not one single room and we had to fill our toilet up with water from the pitcher in the refrigerator. Every time we had to use the bathroom it was ridiculous disgusting and just completely Unacceptable. We control the next morning. The manager would call us and there has been no call from the manager to give us a partial refund or a full refund or anything. I am still waiting for a call from them.

The supposedly included airport shuttle is a sham. I got pushed to an electronic message saying no voice-mail has been set up for this number the first 2 times I called. The third time a man answered and said we dont have any shuttles available. Then when I said it was included with my room and someone needed to pick us up he said something about 30 minutes then hung up on me. We waited and waited it never came. We instead had to take a 60 uber. Big joke. Then when we checked in we were told there would be no manager or assistant manager on the property for us to speak with the entire 18 hours we were in the hotel. Not one person to chat with about the shuttle we didnt get. Then they kept saying my credit card wasnt working at check in and ended up charging me 3 tines. Terrible experience. Ill never be back.

I enjoyed staying here very much the grounds were kept very nicely. The staff was extremely friendly from check in to check out or with anything I needed. The breakfast was excellent every morning also was the staff that served the breakfast was friendly. Nice outside area and gym. The room was very nice i stayed in the studio suite and only complaint I can say I had was the shower design. Why would it leave only one door and not two? I think that design is horrible it leaves a draft on your back while you're taking a shower they should renovate it. But outside of that it is definitely somewhere that you would not regret staying

The property was nice, staff was absolutely amazing.

According to the staff the housekeeping service was each three days (by the way that’s huge time, but anyway) I started for 5 day neither time they went. I asked for more towels just because I came to reception they gave me more. And finally I went to the splash yard didn’t work, only God knows since when and when will be back

We stayed just one night prior to our cruise and this hotel was perfect! They provided an airport shuttle and a free breakfast. The room was clean and nicely designed and the outdoor pool was refreshing. The hotel staff was welcoming and helped with dinner reservations.

Property was well maintained with beautiful landscaping around pool. Lobby and rooms were also well cared for and clean.

We had a 2 bedroom suite, clean, but bed was a bit hard, light still came through the black out blinds and the road was noisy. Have been in suites which have been bigger but it was ok for 5 of us for one night. 2 bathrooms, the main room was a great size. Plenty of towels provided too. Pool was a good size, very warm but was in the shade in both the morning and afternoon when we were there. (Most would probably be happy but we wanted a last few hours of sunshine!) Would stay here again.

Too far from restaurants

It’s an okay hotel. Check in is too late and check out it too early. Early check in and late check out aren’t options though they say they are. Good transport from the airport. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to do or eat in the immediate area. Plan on needing Ubers for any and everything. Plan on sitting in the lobby upon check no matter what. The check in hostess also seemed to find open rooms for anyone who didn’t look like me… felt like Caucasian’s weren’t accepted here at all. (I could hear her speaking to each person behind me as she found them rooms). Not a fan.

We had a spacious family room. And it was super spacious! The hotel felt a little dated but did the job for our one night stay. Room was clean and had everything we needed.

The staff was kind but my room (and many other rooms) weren't available at the designated check-in time. We had to wait almost an hour to be able to access our rooms. The room was beautiful, however there was a line of ants from the sink to the living room space. I called the desk twice to address it but no one answered.

The staff was so friendly and the hotel was a lot bigger than expected. The only think i wasnt the biggest fan of was the tub. I was expecting a walk in shower. But it was still very nice.

It is well located, near to the airport, train and bus stop, there are many restaurants in the area.

Overall a good stay couple of hiccups first night hotel had no hot water until next day then when hot water came back on had to be careful when showering water got to hot could actually burn you if not careful

My family enjoyed the room. It was spacious and clean. They got it ready early for us when we arrived. The pool was great. My only little complaint was the pillows weren’t that great. All in all we had a good time.

The amenities in the room were awesome! Dish washer, sink, microwave, plates, cups, dish washing liquid and the list goes on! The AC was quite noisy though (but this was not the case with the room we stayed a week earlier)

Good place to stay for the night before a cruise with a good breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Some car noise from outside on the street but not too bad. Would probably stay here again.

What a wonderful hotel! We stayed at one hotel in Miami prior to our cruise that was pretty small for our family of four, then of course we squeezed in a small family cabin on the ship, so this hotel that we stayed at prior to flying home out of FLL was a breath of fresh air. Free parking (in Miami we had to pay $25 a night), big room, fabulous breakfast. Love the kitchenette option, dining table for 2, 4 nightstands, big desk, tv that swivels, vanity and large bathroom with huge walk in shower. Honestly, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. You will hear planes overhead given the proximity to the airport, but I’ve slept with earplugs for years, so that was no problem. I slept fabulously in the comfy bed. Highly recommend this fabulous hotel!

From checking in to checking out this hotel was FAB!! A great way to start your day is by getting the coffee and breakfast that is offered - wide variety of items for everyone!! Not one complaint about this hotel!!

Property is very nice, large clean room, front desk very pleasant and helpful close to port and airport shuttle easy to use driver was quick to get us loaded on time and new area well.

Very convenient for our whole family to meet there before our cruise. Easy to get shuttle from airport, to dining/shopping area and to cruise ship port. Romm was clean, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was decent. Only difficulty was vanity area light worked only intermittently and couldn't figure out how to turn on the lamp by the window.
