The only downside was that there was not a gym at the property.

We were in town for a concert, looking for a reasonably-priced hotel to sit by the pool for a couple of days. and this hotel was perfectly located between the airport and the venue. Jermaine was extremely professional and kind at check-in. Our plane got in early and he graciously accommodated our request for early check-in. He was also very patient when we struggled with keys. Other front desk staff was also very pleasant and knowledgeable throughout the course of our three night stay. Our two queen room was clean and spacious. It was also an easy walk to a large shopping area and more than a few restaurants. Pool is on the small side but clean and well-appointed with seating and towels. Complimentary breakfast had a good variety of offerings. The free airport shuttle was a huge benefit, and Sidney, our shuttle driver, was very friendly, professional, and got us to the airport smoothly and on time. The rug pattern in the hallways might cause you trouble if you are inebriated.

First and foremost, staffs are truly great! Their can-do attitude brightened us our stay. As the bed was a bit soft side, spacious room with a lot of amenities (including a small fridge and microwave) were offset the small negative. Room and bathroom was both clean yet plenty of hot water for the shower and good drainage for the tub. As we might have been lucky, we barely heard any noise from the traffic and neighboring room. That said, a quiet night gave us a good night sleep. Additionally, we appreciate your effort to serve a free breakfast and slightly change every morning. Plenty of seating places gave us a nice environment to start off for the day. Parking was easy and shuttle to and from FLL airport was certainly a plus. As there are many options for the restaurants, we really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Thank you very much once again.

I'll be honest I was pleasantly surprised how decent this place was . I generally only stay at Marriott or above a friend was staying here so she begged me to stay at same hotel . When I heard comfort inn I was like yikes, but I will stay here again . We only paid 62.88 on Expedia which was a Steele. Enjoyed stay very much !!!

Make sure to call for shuttle service once you arrive at the airpot. The front desk was super nice and allowed me to check in early. The room was clean and comfortable. No issues whatsoever. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast tastes real damn nasty. They did not have no cranberry juice. They did not have no pancake. They did not have no yogurt. They did not have no fresh fruit. That was good.

The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly, there were a lot of place for parking, and easy to access the facility. The breakfast did not have a lot of options but was ok and one of the elevators needs some minor reparations. But it is a great option to stay in Fort Lauderdale

The hotel appeared poorly maintained and unclean in several areas. The room had a noticeable odor, and the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the property need significant improvement. For a hotel operating under a recognized brand, I expected a much higher standard regarding sanitation, maintenance, and guest comfort. Again, I appreciate the professionalism of the staff, as they were the best part of the experience. However, management and corporate should seriously address the cleanliness, maintenance, and condition of the property to better reflect the standards guests expect when booking with Comfort Suites.

This place looks good in the photos on their site . That's it . There was no gel to shower with and the shower has half a sheet of glass to shower in . The fitted sheet was so old that there were balls of use and uncomfortable to sleep on . The dark out panels were missing one whole panel so the light came in all night . The charger didn't work so my phone never charged . They give you a greeting card and a pen on the desk . They will sell you stamps , but there isn't any outgoing mail , to even mail your card , so what is the point . Breakfast is a joke . Powered eggs and so basic, even the coffee is bad . I got a free shuttle from the airport but it cost 195.00 to get to the port in Miami . This place is a rip off . It is Motel 6 and the cost is not worth it .Never again .

Conveniently located. Free airport shuttle Rooms are very outdated. Bed was really hard and uncomfortable. The shower water temperature was luke warm, which I complained to the front desk. The shower does not have a full glass door and water runs onto the bathroom floor. It seriously needs to be updated. The sofa had a lot of stains on it.

It is as listed. Helpful. Shuttle service was good but the guy does want you to tip. I didnt have cash on me so apologies. He was good though. Hope they give him a raise so someone not tipping doesn't bother him. The management there is outstanding and always on it! Run very well!

The air conditioner was super LOUD everytime it turned on. Kept waking us up all night. When I say it was loud I mean loud. The elevators were slow and not very clean. The breakfast was pretty good, but the coffee cups are small.

We arrived by Amtrak train which was running 5 1/2 hours late so we did not get to check in until almost 11 PM. The staff was very helpful and the room was very nice. We stayed one night before we left for Key West and then stayed one more night on our way home. We would stay here again.

Location was excellent for our cruise. Shuttle came quickly to pick us up from the airport. Room was clean but bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Breakfast could have been better. There too many people for the amount of shuttles they had for the cruise transport but we made it there on time.

The woman working the front desk had a very cold and off-putting personality. She was fully competent with the tasks of her job, but in my interactions with her, as well as those with several other customers I witnessed while waiting at the counter on two different occasions, I never once saw her smile or say anything which was even remotely friendly or inviting. Interacting with her gave the sensation she did not want to be there and was doing the absolute bare minimum to do her job.

We booked this hotel for the conveniece to the airport and the free shuttle to the FLL airport. The manager Seaira was very kind and helpful. We arrived early and were able to check into our room prior to the official check in time. I have a family of five with children ranging from ages 1 to 8 years old, so we had a lot of luggae. They allowed us to store our luggage while the rooms were being prepared. The room was very big. They kids had a nice area to themselves with a sofa. They room also had a refrigerator and microwave which is great for the kiddos. When checking out we did notice a small stain on the pillowcase, but besides that we would recommend this hotel to others seeking a place to stay and are flying from FLL.

The hotel provides free shuttle from the airport which is very nice. The van has a trailer for luggage so the driver could pick up many customers at the same time. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Only thing is the bed is higher than the norm, which could be a challenge for elderlies. Fortunately, the hotel does have stools which was a lifesaver. The staff were super busy with phone calls and customers checking in, yet they remained courteous and we're very pleasant. Breakfast was basic with eggs, sausage, waffle machines, assorted bread. Good place to stay if you are going on a cruise.

The rooms are a very good size, spacious. There were 6 of us and we were not tripping over each other, even when we were getting our suitcases ready to fly. Our return flight was at 5 am so we did not get the chance to eat breakfast. However, we ordered dinner and sat in the breakfast area and staff were very accomodating. The staff was very helpful, even when I needed to borrow something from them. The cleaning staff were also very helpful.

Been booking this hotel for the past few times I’ve visited Florida but this stay wasn’t as well as the others. The shower looked outdated and had only one door so the other side was open (so you’re spilling water everywhere AND it’s freezing)… The breakfast was ok.. could use more options… and the pool was dirty. That’s what did it for me. My key card was set to expire the next day although it was a 2 night - 3 day stay.

Sofa in the room was very dirty and we had a bug on the wall. It took 4 calls until I was able to talk to someone to get transportation from the airport. But driver was very nice. Breakfast: unable to use toaster everything was empty and I never tasted worse coffee in my life. Orange juice and muffins were good.

Well ,we walked into the elavator to get to our room, and were stuck in there for 40 minutes until. the pleading to anybody to get us out. Introduction to the hotel.

I don’t know how this hotel is rated 4.2 on Expedia, unless we just got unlucky with our room. Our room smelled of urine/stale cigarettes in my opinion, wet dog or hockey equipment in my husband’s opinion. It was run down with springs popping out of the underside of the mattress on the sofa bed, the surface appeared to be mouldy and had stains down the arms of the sofa. The caulking around the bath was in poor condition, smeared and brown up the edge of the bath and lost the seal and a disgusting yellow brown stained colour around the toilet.

Plenty of towels in the bathroom without needing to ask for more. Shower was long and narrow, with no shelf to put your own toiletries and wasn't hot enough. Quiet and well priced. Check-in was time consuming, and when one of the key cards didn't work, there was a too-lengthy process to get a new one. Lots of parking. Biggest complaint was that though there were several lamps in the room, the desk had no light.

This property is very perfect for any activities you want for the place.. and best are the staff who are very compassionate with everyone. They try to accommodate people who got stranded with flight dekays and cancellations. They are all very polite and very accommodating!!!!

My only issue i had here was they didn’t have quarters for me to wash my clothes so I had to drive to a laundromat to wash clothes. So it inconvenienced me over an hour on my departure morning. If you know is spring break and you’ll have more guests then have more quarters because people will want to wash their clothes.

Hotel was decent. Unfortunately the shuttle never came to pick us up even after calling multiple times. We had to get an uber. The internet didn’t work at all even after connecting to their WiFi and using the code provided.

Sadly there was a crack pipe left in our hotel room and picked up by a child. Got offered a very small credit to compensate for having to have police and emergency services come out. Thank the heavens the child ended up being okay but what an ordeal to go through. When checking out, manager was apologetic and offered the credit, then walked away. I understand there arent normal protocols or precedure for this type of incident, I guess I was expecting to much in human decency. I just really hope this never happens to another child anywhere. Per the google review left- the manager asked us to call for a follow up. Weve left 3 messages and no return call from them.

All the staff was welcoming and helpful and the general manager Jermaine sets a beautiful example to all his staff which is reflected at very interaction. Location is ideal both for airport access and access by public transportation to shopping and beach. Would definitely stay there again.

The room smell like smoke and stale air. We couldnt shower or brush out teeth bc the water was coming out yellow and sandy. The front desk on night shift was rude when we told her the water situation and said she would give only 2 bottle of water to brush our teeth. Such a horrible experience.

They only clean your room on the third day of your stay. Cleaning your room everyday is not included. Make sure you bring garbage bags as you are responsible for changing those; hang your towels since you don’t get new ones. Breakfast was really good for being free. Good location. Yes I would stay here again. Rooms were nice size and everything worked. THE MATTRESSES WERE OOOLD AND FALING APART (Both of them).

Torn carpets, worn furnishings and noisy air conditioning made this a “less than” stay. Staff were most pleasant and are a credit to the hotel.

We were only in the room overnight therefore, I have few comments.

The entire facility was spotless and the staff was super nice. The bed was very comfortable and the sitting area was great for watching a little TV before bed. My only complaint was not having plant-based milk in the breakfast buffet, so we had to go out for breakfast every day.

The carpet had crumbs and what looked like raisins on it and there was a bottle cap on the office chair. There were smudges and fingerprints on just about every shiny surface, including the flip latch for the door. The worst part even after all of that was the shower. Old hair rubber bands were in the drain, and it didn’t even have a shower door! It was half glass and then open. Each time we showered the floor of the bathroom got completely soaked. The bath at didn’t do any good. Breakfast was barely above room temperature too. Next time we cruise out of Ft Lauderdale we will find a better hotel. Never going back.

The room was acceptable. We arrived at the hotel after midnight and were given a room on the first floor basically behind the check in desk. I was too tired to ask for a change of room but the bathroom floor was sticky. I expected they would come in for cleaning in the morning anyway but was disappointed in that there is no housekeeping service for 3 days.

The photos were deceiving. The pool was small, not clean and minimal seating and honestly looked closed. The food was not good and the shower floor wasn’t intact. It is also not in a good location to do anything if you do not have a car.

Only stayed one night but beds were super comfy, staff was nice and the shuttle to the airport was convenient!

Unfortunately check in was long and tedious going through the reservation from this site. The breakfast was eeghgg super basic. The room was dated and smelled like toilet water. Everyone was nice though. Needless to say I’d rather spend money to stay somewhere else.

My last stay they got it wrong. I was checked in an accessible dirty room. But my first stay they got it right. The property is fairly decent and I appreciate any property that offers breakfast.

Read before booking!!! It was maybe a half hour after check in, I using the bathroom and it started. I was casually looking around and noticed a dirty wrapped up diaper under the sink basin. I immediately grabbed the phone to call the front desk to let them know because I was disgusted - just to find out there was no dial tone. So now I put my shoes on and go downstairs. I’m not sure her name but the hispanic lady helped me and was very patient with me, assigned me another room, apologized and provided me an email to send my complaint to which I did as well. - So I think everything is okay, we go into the next room, so far so good, the next morning I jump in the shower before our cruise and when I grab a towel, the first one smells like sweaty feet from a track and field team, I threw it down, I grab a second, the second smells just as bad. I decided to just grab a little towel because they seem normal and wipe myself off and my husband did the same. Never again. The coffee in the morning is crap, we walked to Starbucks. If it wasn’t for the nice lady I would’ve gave it a 1 but she was working the night and in the morning. She looked exhausted.

It was very easy to get a shuttle to the port from this hotel.

Great layover spot for us and our airport shuttle drivers were great. I can only remember Sydney’s name, but they were both helpful.

Everything was absolutely fine apart from the bed which was so high and had an uncomfortable mattress, I hardly slept due to the pain caused by the hard mattress, I was scared of falling out as was quite high.

Wasn’t worth the money honestly. The beds weren’t comfortable. Check-in was a hour wait. The breakfast area was dirty and stink. It’s honestly just a place to rest your head for the night.

The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, only the shower curtain was not wide enough for the large shower. The staff at the desk was courtious, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was ok, plenty. I would recommend staying in this hotel.

Huge kudos, however, go to Winston Thomas who picked us up from the airport with the shuttle. What a gem! He was fun yet professional, he communicated well while we were waiting for him at the pick up spot. HE truly gave a fantastic first impression.

Room had poor lighting. Beds were comfortable. The shower took a long time to heat up and the curtain was too narrow so it let in cool air. Staff was exceptionally good, helpful and kind. Location was close enough to restaurants and shopping.

Property needs improvements. WiFi connection on 6th floor was sporadic during the entire stay. This was a big inconvenience along with the slow elevator which both guests and staff utilized. Property signage could improve to help guests locate the site from several feet away.

Excellent experience - especially the shuttle ride from the airport by Winston to the hotel. He managed to kept everyone in good spirits with his pleasant demeanor after a long day of traveling. Close to the airport, clean room, easy check in and check out and nice breakfast. Only negative part of the stay was that one of the elevators was not running, so that slowed the morning departure process.

Good things: helpful, friendly desk staff, spacious room, has all that you need: microwave, mini fridge, mini coffee maker (and they provide tea!), ironing, hair dryer, a safe for valuables, plenty o' outlets for power and charging, L-shaped couch that has a hide-a-bed (+ a coffee table), good sized desk w/desk chair and movable table. Bad things: there is no way to block the window! Gossamer curtains only, so bright parking lot lights all night long + dawn light, ready or not. On the positive side, the parking lot is well lit. But the window AC is positioned such that the long curtains on either side would block the vent if closed, so they cannot slide closed. The couch had many stains, ew. The terrible: maintenance worked on rejuvenating the desk table and coffee table by applying some kind of black stain? Well, it had not dried and when I moved the table, my hands became filthy! I rubbed a piece of tissue along the edges and it was soaked in black. I'm lucky I didn't touch my pant leg against the table. Don't want to think how it would go with kids in the room... Bottom line, it's a worthy airport hotel, would stay again, but c'mon guys -- wet stain is no bueno.

How was this property ever rated above a 1? The sheets had dried blood, the room was not clean when we got in and reeked of smoke and weed. The floors were sticky and the sofa had large black stains all over it. I can’t believed we stayed a night. It was the most disgusting place I have ever walked into.

Rooms are okay. Very old property. They sold two queens beds and a sofa bed advertised to accommodate 6 people but beds are smaller than full size. Sofa bad mattress and sofa is very dirty and unusable condition even for small kids. It is overall very average experience. I would recommend other good hotels for families traveling with children.

Picked this hotel for the pool and it was closed!

However, the rooms need to be cleaned more thoroughly. The smell wafting up from shower drain, led to sprinkling baking soda and vinegar to dampen the scent. Also, under the rim inside the shower (the corner side under the glass partition), hadn't been scrubbed for some time.. The shower head needed scrubbing (gunk around the water holes). Otherwise, it would be a 5 star rating for cleanliness.

The only positive experience we had was that they allowed us to check I. Early after our cruise so our three kids, including two with special needs, had a place to be out of the weather. After that, it was all awful. The elevators were out of date on inspection and still moved after the doors opened, unlevel with the floor. Once we reached our floor it smelled wet and musty. I get it. It’s Florida. It’s humid. But this was a very thick air, and felt slimey. We reached our room and the smell was sickening. We used an entire bottle of febreeze with no relief. After searching for the smell, we found the air conditioner seemed to be putting out a lot of humidity. It wasn’t a clean air smell. The curtains in 416 were covered in mold from the air conditioner blowing on them. The room had not been swept. We didn’t complain because we did get in early so we just thought they cut corners cleaning. But cThe trash cans were sticky. There was a dead roach in the sink. Crumbs on carpet. Couch smelled like urine. The blankets on the bed were torn on the bottom side and my foot got caught. I woke up to go to the bathroom in the dark and there were live roaches all over the place. We booked this hotel for the early morning transportation to the airport. However, someone at the desk canceled our service. And the driver didn’t want to take us. We confirmed this at check In. Best of all. We got home and were charged twice. Never again. Also because you asked, there’s no close beaches.

If you are taking a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, get very clear instructions on where to take it. Multiple locations were cited creating undue confusion and delays. Otherwise the hotel is fine.

The hotel is in a nice safe area everything is right there but our first hotel room smelled moldy and the mattress was filthy and my skin started itching as soon as I layed in the bed I told front desk and we switched rooms that was a little better house keeping never clean the room even when we ask the housekeeper said no straight to my face I will never stay there again

Stayed here before our cruise and I would stay here again. The hotel overall was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. They offered breakfast which was a plus. The location was close to a few restaurants and shopping centers.

All front desk staff were friendly.

The room was not properly cleaned. There were small roaches in the room. The sofa bed was raggedy, the mattress was torn and dirty. The sofa bed could not pull out easily. My nephew had discovered bites on his skin and when told to the front desk agent on duty we’re told that he was not a doctor and did not bother to look at them. We were able to switch rooms but the way the situation was handled seems like the staff lacked empathy.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact they didn't have daily house keeping. 5 days we stayed and only got housekeeping once. I prefer daily housekeeping after a long day out.

The hotel was ok, if you needed to use the gym or the pool you had to go down the street to another hotel. Access to the hotel was a very big INCONVENIENCE you have to pass the hotel make a U-turn to get to it. Location was ok rooms were ok but the other guests that stayed during my visit were very noisy. Would I stay here again NO!

So the room was great! Plenty of room and lots of support. Clean and fresh! Had a great sleep and was fresh for the next day!

It shouldn’t say cruise port if they charging so much money.

I didn't like the rule where you have to request your room to be cleaned and equipped with fresh linens, daily or you basically get ignored. Never stayed at a hotel before where they only refresh your room and make your bed every 3 days unless you put in a special request. I wanted my sheets changed and bed made up while I was out during the day and it never happened. I ended up making up my own bed and changing my own linens.

Spent 2 nights because of work being don’t on my house, free breakfast was poor. Breads was stale , fake eggs was really bad and the coffee sucked. , room description was queen beds but I should have measured it because it seemed like full size.

Hotel is near two great shopping centers. Although breakfast is complimentary, it had little options. Internet kept buffering and there’s no daily room cleaning.
