We asked the Front desk lady how to get it working, she answered with sarcasm ( the remote) Like OH I'm that dumb not to use the remote ( Shout out to the maintenence guy He's the best) the rest of the Front desk crew just don't show any level of professionalism. I doubt I will stay here again.

Great place for a one or 2 night stay. Very clean. Dove toiletry products. They have wash cloths!!! Hot breakfast. Coffee, tea available 24 hours. They have Shuttle service to the airport. I was checking out on a cruise embarkation day and the receptionist was able to get me on a shuttle to the cruise terminal with other people. That was so nice. The hotel doesn't have regular shuttle to the cruise terminal The shuttle cost was average. The staff were friendly and seemed happy to answer questions. The free shuttle only makes 4 trips to and from the airport. My plane landed outside of the shuttle time frame. But there are taxis and ride shares waiting in line to be hired at the airport. Also the location is not good if you don't have a car. Not walkable to restaurants or stores.But ride share readily available.

The staff was the best part of the entire stay. They were very accommodating. The room appeared to be old and rundown! The tiles on the floor were lifted which is already a major safety hazard but the fact that I had to get a handicapped room was even more scarier. The shower had mold, there were dead bugs (palmetto I believe) on the floor and I didn’t even have towels/wash/handcloths! I had to call and then go downstairs after midnight and a long day of driving and heat to go get them. I was disappointed with this property but as I stated above, the staff was amazing and tried to do what they could to assist

No coffee maker or microwave in the room was disappointing for us.( I did not notice that fact when making the reservation) Most of the staff was friendly except one specific lady at the front desk with a nasty/nice attitude. AC not working I the room. We have it a few hours to see if it was just because of the hot weather outside but no. After 5 hours the AC was not working properly. And on top of it just a little bit of water coming out the shower. The lady at the Front Desk during Friday night was very helpful. Since maintenance was gone for the day she move us to another room and we felt the difference right away.The AC on that room and the shower was very good so no complaints. We enjoyed the breakfast the first morning. We might be wrong but it is our understanding that the breakfast was until 10am Today my father went out around 9:20 to 9: 30am they were already starting to clean. I went out at 9:45 just for a yogurt and coffee and everything was clean and gone already besides the coffee machines. The complimentary coffee in the lobby was good. But again supposed to be available 24/7 but on Saturday night when we got there both machines said they were out. The gym was nice. The pool could be cleaner. No towels were available in the pool area until around 3pm on Saturday So overall it was good but definitely could be better.

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the availability of an airport shuttle as described on Expedia. Upon checking in we were told that the first shuttle was at 8 AM. When i said that we needed to get to the airport for 5:30 AM we were told that the hotel website indicates that the first shuttle is at 8 AM. Perhaps this should be indicated on Expedia? We ended up paying for an Uber.

The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the floor was coming unglued in several areas, presenting a fall hazard. I also booked two rooms for family and paid for both but, while they were next door, they were not adjoining. I made the reservations in my name but I was not listed as a guest and permission from a family member had to be secured to issue me a key or allow access to the room. Finally, my plane arrived shortly after 3:00 but I was told I couldn’t be picked up until the next scheduled run 2 hours later. The driver was kind enough to come in 1 hour to pick me up, as a courtesy.

The peoperty needs a remodel. I had 3 rooms and in every room the floor tiles were lifting, missind decor, paint splashes on walls. The employees were the best part, extremely nice and accomodating. I'm thankful it was only for 1 night or i would not have stayed there without switching rooms.

The lady who checked in us took from us $30 for transfer from the hotel to the port. Than we got to the ship the driver said we owe him $30 we told him we already paid. But he was arguing with us. And ended paying him. So, we paid twice for the same service.

This super budget hotel was exactly that... I called again and again and again for the shuttle service, hotel suggested I call driver cell directly. waited 40 min and then hailed a cab finally. $25. There was only one person at the desk who was way overwhelmed and completely unable to handle all the people and phones by herself, understandably. skip this place if you're in any kind of airport hurry also the walls were paperthin. you absolutely get what you pay for. I cancelled my next Rez at this property.

My stay went well. The front desk staff were wonderful. The room needed a little bit of extra vacuuming upon arrival. I requested it and they did responded as expected. Also, the floor of my room seems to have survived a flooding as it was uneven. There was also a minor crack in the furniture. Other than that, great place to stay.

We will contact Hotels.com. Promised transportation to the Cruise Port was not honored. We booked this property because of this benefit; confirmed the benefit at check-in and were given a contact number to call. When we arrived at the port, driver asked us to pay. We called the property and were told it was an error on the front desk clerk's part, but they refused to make it right. We paid in order to make our cruise departure time.

So let me start by saying the staff was amazing! They had great attitudes and were very accommodating. However the hotel is not very clean. When checking into my room, there were stains on my blankets and hair in my beds. The floors also looked like they had not been clean at all. The bathrooms were also pretty gross. I asked to change rooms because i did not feel comfortable sleeping in a room that looked as it did and had a smell. We booked two rooms and the other room had bed bugs in it as well. We did not feel comfortable staying there but being that it was super late when we found them we ended up just having to change rooms. Again the staff was amazing! Maggie and her sister were very helpful and did not seem annoyed that we kept asking to change rooms so great customer service. But the rooms i would say book with caution.

It started with NOT being able to get a shuttle from the airport as stated. We landed at 6 and were told a shuttle would not be available till 7:30. When we finally arrived via Uber, the front desk clerk was less than friendly and was barefoot the entire time. She also hung up on us 5 times when inquiring about the shuttle. The room was dirty with floor tiles peeling up. The breakfast was awful, and the lobby was also dirty, no toilet paper in the lobby bathroom and no urgency to get it there! Will not stay again and I am an IHG member!

We checked into room 224 with Kendall who was very nice and courteous. However the room had serious issues. We had to move rooms because the tile was lifting from the floor and water was bubbling up through the floor. The staff for that night 4/9 was very unprofessional. They were holding personal calls at the desk and cursing. On the next stay, 4/13, we checked into room 222 and the same issue with the floor. It wasn't wet this time, but the tile was coming up. It made loud cracking sounds as you walked on it. I'd never stay here again.

Handicap floor tiles that were missing and were a trip. At 11 o’clock, I like to go to bed early to find out the day they put on soaking wet in the center of my bed was soaking wet. I tried to call front desk. No answer. I was my son down. They said someone in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I went down and had to get bedding to remake my bed myself.

Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast. I did get to park in the same spot almost everyday with one time i got the next spot beside it so no issues there. I was disappointed with the bathroom as the shower walls were not clean when i first stepped in.

I was a little disappointed in this hotel. One of the two elevators was broken. The location of the hotel was remote. We were lucky to find one restaurant within a ten minute walk. Zero Nothing. The hotel canceled our room after we booked it 3 months earlier. They also canceled your friend's room. Her flight was canceled and was rebooked. Gonna in after 6:30am. Her room was gone. She called when the flight was delayed and they said no problem. Then they charged here 881.00 for one night when here original booking was 660.00 for 2 nights. This a crooked hotel. Do not book with them

Was impressed with the FREE shuttle to and from hotel for supper

The hotel was nice and clean. I just wish is it was located a little closer to restaurants and shopping. The staff needs some customer service training. They were not welcoming or friendly. They gave the impression it’s a job and I’m only her to do my job. When you asked a question the response was dry and unappealing. It as about 10pm when I was standing at the desk to ask a question. A guest with his wife in a wheelchair was inquiring about places to eat. The front desk person pointed out the door and told her can walk 10 mins down the street. There was no compassion with her response to the gentleman at all. Didn’t give him the name of the restaurant or anything other options given the time or the guest current situation. This was horrible.

The only issue was that the hotel charged $100 USD for the deposit, and 30 days later they had not refunded the charge to my credit card. Booking support doesn't answer either my request.

I had informed the property through Expedia that I would be doing a late check-in. However, still my booking was cancelled and no refund was provided. Hotel is blaming Expedia and Expedia is blaming hotel, but my money is gone.

In desperate need of a deep cleaning. Dirty room, lobby, hallways, bathrooms. Awful musty, dirty smell, rude staff, overall horrible experience. Cancelled the 2nd reservation I had for a week from now at the same place, when getting off cruise ship. Booked a different hotel!

Clean room however the comforter was torn and the flooring was peeling up. It was very difficult to contact the front desk for airport pickup.The airport shuttle for pickup did not start pickup until 2:30 in the afternoon which we were not aware of and ended up getting a taxi for our earlier arrival. The shuttle service to a nearby restaurant was fantastic and the restaurant Rendevouz was outstanding! Shuttle to the cruise port went smoothly.

The condition of the room was terrible with tiles peeling from floor, mildew in the shower, a dirty towel stuffed under the bed, and stains on the sheets. Even though this was a short overnight before a cruise I wouldn’t waste money staying here again.

We pulled up. Holes in ceiling held up by tarp in lobby eating area. Tables dirtied w napkins and food. Rugs disgusting. Furniture in lobby all stained. Got to hotel 3 hours early was told we can do it early check-in after 20 minutes when the housekeeper came down from cleaning rooms after about an hour and a half we decided to walk out of the hotel an Uber to a different hotel without the staff addressing us at all. When I messaged the hotel directly from the airport to ask if early check-in was available I didn’t get a response until 6:30 in the evening and said sorry for the late response but yes, we offer a complementary early check-in so if your expectations are high, the bar is very low at this hotel with nothing in the area to even walk to or go to eat. I selected this hotel to spend the night to get on a cruise in the morning and I listened to all of the reviews which stated excellent. This was not the case and want people to be aware.

Tiles in room need to be replaced we have stayed here before .airport shuttle only goes 4 times a day which is terrible and poorly advertised.We will not be back untill tile is fixed and airport shuttle is run like a normal airport hotel shuttle should be !!

The room we stayed in needed help. The floors were buckling. There was a light bulb out. The showerhead needed to be cleaned. The water exited the shower all overcthe bathroom floor. There was a brown substance smeared on the bathroom wall.

Room was nice but very small if you select the king bed option. There is no dressers to put your clothes away. Check in was slow at times nobody at desk. We arrived at check in time and had to wait an hour to get an available room. The lobby reception area is small and adds to the confusion because there are people milling about everywhere. Also not enough tables to eat breakfast . The pool is next to the highway and is very noisy and only has 2 lounge chairs . Is ok for an overnight stay with shuttle to airport being a bonus .

Clean, nice staff. Transportation to and from airport was a nice bouns. However shuttle times were spaced out really far. It would be great if they considered adding additional shuttle. Ex my flight departed at 11 am the 1st shuttle time was 730am the next was 1130 am. Plan and simple i was 3 hour earlt to airport or miss my flight. I just took an lyft and arrived at airport in appropriate time. Overall enjoyed my stay.

Reading other negative reviews is quite puzzling to me. I recently spent a night after a cruise and it was quite pleasant. The two employees at the front desk were more than hospitable as was the FREE shuttle driver. The room was clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was very good with lots of great options. The room was starting to show signs of some minor wear but this hotel is a great choice for a short stay before or after a cruise.

The room we had was on the 3rd floor. The toilet did not flush when we checked in. We notified maintenance and they came up and plunged it clear. That lasted 2 flushes and then stopoed draining again. No aNow it was 8 pm. No answer at maintenance/housekeeping. No answer at the front desk. No one. At the front desk when we went down. My family had to go down 2 floors all night to use the bathllpublic bathroom. The next morning i asked to speak to the manager and was told she was off that day and there was no one available that day to complain to. I was told the manager would call me the nexxlt day. She didn't. I called the hotel the next day and was told she doesn’t come in until afternoon.

Bad advertising (shuttle to the cruiseport was a pay service that wasn't communicated), dated hotel (floors buckling, old fixtures, weird nook area), room dirty (q-tips on the bathroom floor, trash can not empty) No offer to correct the problem, just a "sorry about that". Would not recommend. We paid $200 for a Thursday night in January. It wasn't worth $100.....

I guess that due to the snowstorm they were overwhelmed with a lot of people trying to check in. I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt because of the huge influx of people. The free pick up at the airport was a joke. We arrived at 11:30 but the shuttle only started to arrive at 2:30. We saw many shuttles come and go during that 3 hour period for other hotels and I wish we had known before we booked. I give very high praise to the shuttle driver for looking after my husband who I assume had heat stroke from waiting so long he was marvellous.

The room was clean and neat However, there are no glasses in the room and evidently they do not furnish them whether it’s paper plastic ceramic or whatever the furniture was beat up. There was only one chair and it would only stay up the very low position and was the fabric was torn. Need a little bit of explanation on the blind as at night you can’t really see what’s happening except that we couldn’t close it it says that there is transportationpossible call 24 hours in advance for the ride from the airport but evidently they do not do that we called we made a reservation however they told us that after we landed, it would be two hours before they would be making another airport run so what was the point in calling 24 hours in advance Very disappointing. It is not close to any restaurant. It is minimal breakfast. OK but nothing very special one cereal. They said that it was near the airport. It really is not.. we went to breakfast at 8 o’clock and by this time an hour after it opened, the breakfast bar itself was very dirty.

Shuttle from the airport never showed up and after 1 hour and 30 min we ended up ordering an Uber driver to get us to the hotel. They did refund the cost of the Uber but ruined our evening plans.

The room was fine and the staff was nice. There was no one at the desk when I got there, so it took a while to check in. The hotel lists an airport shuttle. It only runs a few times a day, at inconvenient times. I would have had to wait over 2 hours for the shuttle, so I took a ride share. I also found out that the front desk person gave us mis-information about the shuttle to the port. She had us take their more expensive shuttle, rather than a ride share that would have been half the price.

Arrived 11am was told could ck in at noon.. sat and waited til 1:30 girl at desk not in any hurry to help out. There is NOTHING around to do or places to walk to at all. Overpriced Candy bars and chips at hotel lobby. We booked as advertised airport shuttle …. Then was told only 8/11/2pm shuttle . Our room had uneven floor and tiny bugs in bathroom. It looks very clean and may have been a one off but wanted to mention. For a quick night stay it was “okay” brfst subpar But the unlimited free coffee and water was a bonus. IMO 3 star at best

I called earlier in the week to find out how we utilized the airport shuttle and I was told to call when we land. I called at noon and they said there was no shuttle until 230. I told the front desk what I had been told earlier in the week and the staff said they had nothing else to tell me, I could wait till 230. I ansked for a manager annd was told no manager was on staff and then they hung up. I called back several times to find out where to wait for the shuttle and my call kept getting answered and hung up on. I spent $50 on an uber to get to the property. The lobby was disheveled and has trash on nearly all the tables. Couches and chairs were stained and worn.

Stayed for 2 nights. Overall great place to stay. Called a month ahead of time to request a crib for our infant. Was told to call day of. Called the morning of and they said they would have a crib in the room for us. We arrived at 12:30am due to a flight delay to find no crib in the room. Went down and the staff was able to get us one, but would have been nice if we didn’t have to wait for it.

There were cobwebs in the ceiling of the room. The smoke detector functioned like a motion detector and blinked green whenever we moved in the room. Hated the automatic lights coming on in the bathroom at night - do not want bright lights on at 2 am. The air conditioner was excessively loud, made it hard to sleep. Many floor tiles were separated and would catch on our socks. And lastly the shower door leaked water all over the floor. Really poor value for the money.

Alina was extremely friendly checking us in. Oriented us to everything that was available in the hotel. ( including delicious coffee 24/7 made fresh from beans). We stayed a couple days before boarding a ship and its out in the middle of an industrial area. Not much around it. Only restaurant anywhere near it was closed when we were there. No one ever answered the phone when I called to inquire for assistance prior to my stay.. The room was smoky smelling. No cups or options for getting ice for the room. This hotel--lobby/breakfast/check in as well as the rooms--is small. If you need space you will not be comfortable. Our bathroom was not very clean. Beds were comfortable, location convenient to what we needed. The breakfast is generic but not as good as most of that generic sort. Very extensive for what you get. Also, check airport shuttle times. I was surprised to find out we couldn't use it because it doesn't start until 8a.m.

Not sure where the miscommunication was between the hotel and Ticketmaster as the process was delayed up to an hour. Ticketmaster finally contacted the hotel to ensure I was given the rate I paid for. Hotel staff very accommodating all the way around.

The people at the hotel tried really hard, BUT they need more staff. They need more informed staff. There are problems with the hotel that could be fixed\changed, with little or no effort. For example, at check in, the gentleman at the front desk didn’t know when check in was (ie he didn’t know when the room would be ready- which is ok, but the hotel should have a defined time, ie 3:00). There is not enough room to leave your luggage (ie no dedicated luggage room before check-in), there are no luggage tags, and the luggage just sits beside and behind the front desk, with no one necessarily monitoring it. Rather than being accommodating in offering to take it, I was told “there is no room for it”. I easily found room. The room was very basic. The hallways could use a vacuuming. Again, I attribute this to a shortage of staff. Not enough seating for the guests for breakfast. The pool didn’t have enough seating. To fix these things isn’t a huge deal, but I suppose if the hotel were to do that the prices might go up. I would rather have the extra amenities and pay a slightly higher rate.

It's a nice hotel with excellent staff. We had 2 rooms and one room the door didn't latch so had to lock with deadbolt. Be aware that there not much within walking distance as far as food or activities. Only there 1 night and had 0 problems.

Despite being new, the hotel seemed in disrepair. Our shower door was broken, the trim was falling off the wall in the room, the floor was sticky with several loose floor tiles. In the lobby the roof was leaking in several places. The floor in the lobby was wet and slippery. It took a long time to check in.

First, the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean, not very big. Bathroom was clean and decent size. Hotel is close to the airport, so airplane noise is always present but not terrible. The floors were water damaged, there was a leak in the shower that caused water to pool in the bathroom, the table was barely attached to the wall, the floor was filthy, our room was not stocked with towels when we arrived, the bedding was stained on both beds. When I checked out, the male staff at the front desk gave me an attitude when I asked for a receipt. The best part was checking out.

The breakfast didn't look appealing at all- but the coffee was good. We were told to be at the shuttle at 0755 for the 8 am shuttle to the airport. at 805 I went in to ask if there was a delay as we needed to order an Uber if it was delayed too much longer and the response was 'She'll be along shortly'. At 0810 the driver appeared, got into the van without acknowledging us at all at started to backup. She could've said sorry for being late, I'm just turning the van around and will be with you shortly, but didn't even look in our direction. When she did stop, she didn't help us (or the other guest who had a cane and was elderly) with our luggage. She did drive safely and we got o the airport on time, but I feel if it is stated an 8 o'clock shuttle, it should be on time.

The Facility was good, but the hotel felt understaff, there was a water leak in the waiting area a t the lobby, and the reception had periods were nobody was around. The staff was wonderful. However, the hotel is south has no restaurant or food. Everything had to be brought in or we had to go out to eat by Uber. Nothing is nearby. The hot coffee and fizzy water were a nice treat and available all the time, but that section ran out of various materials like cup covers and the breakfast was mediocre at best. The hotel is designed wonderfully and everything in the room is compact and efficient.

The hotel is not near any restaurant and they don’t have a restaurant in the hotel. I would not stay here again because of that you needed a cab ride to get to a restaurant.

Booked this hotel for one night and based on ratings seemed like it was OK. We arrived late at night - 11pm. Lots of people hanging out in the parking lot. As we were walking to the elevator we saw a guest letting a hooker in through the side door. When we got off on our floor a young man was sitting on the floor and it looked like he was strung out. The room looks nice in pictures but they need work. The floors in our room had water trapped under it. Wherever you stepped water came through - so I’d imagine there is mold there too. Couldn’t wait to get out of there in the morning. Hard to sleep in a place you feel unsafe. The staff at the desk in the morning was rude. Will never be back.

The food was okay nothing to write home about ,terrible coffee though!The shuttle was fine but no one knew what time it started in the AM and i think if you offer shuttle it should start at the same time the airport actually opens not at 8 ,also each person we asked ga e us a different time ! The rooms were okay the shower floor was stained wirh dirty feet and also mold and hard water crust .The flooring was peeling up and not secure .As for the reception area was hot as hell and had water drips and celiling was peeling and water marks .

The start has the patience of saints. Some of these travelers put the staff to the text. The hotel itself was nice and the staff was welcoming. Worked great. Also didn't know it was part of the IHG family of hotels

The room was shabby. The laminate in the room wasn't waterproof and the substrate was sowing around the planks. There was one salt and pepper set for the entire breakfast room. This hotel seems to be a corral for pre cruise people.

The young lady working the front desk was extremely nice. I’ve spent the day in Miami where everyone seems to be mad about everything all the time. Her amazing customer service and friendliness was like a cool drink of water. Great hotel!

The floor was coming up in several places and my mother hurt her toe on the floor. The shower had soap residue on the walls. Our door did not fully shut, we had to pull it shut. It was loud we could hear everything but we learned that's because our door wasn't closed the whole way.

This was perfect for my first time in Fort Lauderdale. It was 10 minutes from where my family lived and not far from the airport or the beach. Definitely will staying here again, especially for the free breakfast every morning that was very delicious, good quality and very convenient. Like i said i will be staying here more often.

The airport shuttle got us after calling for a ride. The reason I picked staying here was they had shuttles to the port. They do - third party shuttles. Also, the hotel is in a restaurant desert. They offer one restaurant that will pick you up and return you to the hotel. Reasonable and decent food.

The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. Our flight was delayed past the time they could pick us up at the airport. They delayed the driver and had him pick us up anyway. It was very much appreciated amd kept us from having to scramble for transportation.

They do not change the bed covers. The bed we had stunk, you can smell booty or body. They do not change and wash those covers everyday. Just nasty, enjoy sleeping with other peoples body fluids on the cover

Incredibly comfortable bedding, spacious shower, & plenty of spaces for storage and hanging things. Also liked the feature of being able to control the AC unit from the wall panel near the bed as well as the unit itself. The front desk staff were also accommodating and efficient at check in and for the couple of room requests I had made during the night. Lastly check out was very simple as I was able to do so on the television in the room and dropped off the key cards @ the front desk. Highly recommend!

There were floor tiles lifted up and damaged through out the room and the shower door leaked. Room 223. They held $50 on my card for damages and was uneasy that they could blame me. Other than that, good room close to the cruise port and good night sleep.

There was a few spot that require maintenance attention. But otherwise it was a nice location for a quick rest. Only two minor issues with this hotel was that there wasn't any laundry services. I had to go out to do a bit of a wash. Also no microwaves in the room. The only one is located in the main lobby in the breakfast area

The welcome and customer service was awful! The roof in the bathroom was messy and leaky stains! The room door was could be open by room service attendants. The best experience was the room service supervisor she was a sweet lady.

It was an okay stay since it was a short stay. Close location to airport which was a plus.Their staff Alina and male with the dreadlocs were nice and friendly.Their key system was down during our stay so we had to wait for someone to accompany us every time we went out and came back to give us access to our room which was a bit annoying. For a new hotel I was a bit shock to see the flooring in the room and the shower needed to be maintained or replaced. But overall I rated it an average stay.

My stay was great, I checked in way beyond check in time due to a late arrival of my flight. I stayed in contact with Greg, who was very helpful and kept great communication from time I booked my stay up until I landed. The young man (Carlos)who picked me up from the airport was very friendly. The young lady who checked me in was phenomenal. She had all my packages in a box ready and waiting for my arrival, she personally showed me to my room and made sure I was comfortable and safe. Even though I spent one night, my experience was 10/10.

We had a horrible trip upon arriving. The airline left our luggage out in the rain, so EVERYTHING was soaked. The staff at the hotel helped us so much and we were so appreciative. Job well done!
