One thing to note: youth sports teams sometimes stay here, which can lead to occasional noise and minor inconveniences. Aside from that, it’s a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we highly recommend it.

Rude, they cancel my reservation at last minute due to someone else booked at the same time... we were like two minutes away from the location when they cancel our reservation. Even tho I had put my debit card on file but because I didn't pay because it gave me option to pay inside they canceled my over the other person. So we drove for 45 minutes more to find a hotel that took our reservation.

When I went to the front desk no one was there to help so I had to wait awhile. Also I didn’t like the fact the bathtub had a long hair in the tub.

I loved the location and the price. My stay was very peaceful and that was very important to me being that I traveled from Kansas. I did not like that I didn't get my $25 dollar deposit back at checkout

The only thing I like about the property is its location to the highway and staff. Threat to this is probably one of worst locations. I’ve stayed at today. Let’s just put it this way. Fixtures were falling off the wall, I almost got shocked plugging in my charger, the outlets were falling out with wires exposed. The faucets were leaking, the AC smelled like cigarettes and I can keep going on. But if you’re in need of a location in a hot second, this will work. However, unless you’re an oil worker, long, haul trucker, or somebody that needs a decent but cheap place to stay this isn’t it.

Staff at front desk rude . I think if you have a question they have to answer it nicely and not with a dumb attitude making you feel uncomfortable . Except for one guy that was there Sunday morning. He was the nicest one of the other two.

The breakfast was good and parking was nice. Overall, I would stay there again but just not on the first floor.

I didn’t wake up early enough for breakfast but I heard they had a nice selection!! Unfortunately the pool was not ready during our stay!! It was scheduled to open April 1st!! The guy at the front desk worker was kind and courteous! I felt safe during my stay!!

Average hotel, looks like it was remodeled around 10-15 years ago. It's decently clean, can't say I agree with the 8-9 exceptional score listed on Hotels.com reviews. Bathroom tiles were loose in the floor and the shower looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned in months. Pool was inoperative, only one working elevator that led to musty smelling lobbies. Would not recommend to anyone unless desperately needing a room to stay.

I had stayed here multiple times, and they never disappoint. Nice location, quiet, and clean rooms.

The gym has no weights. The pool was under construction which was not disclosed or we wouldn’t have booked this hotel. They charged more than the reservation amount. Room service never came so for 3 days we had the same towels. The people above us stomped half the night, rattling things on our wall. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

Staff was great, called me when I would be arriving. Asked me that evening and morning if needed anything. Breakfast was good. Would sat again 110 percent!

Kept loosing channels in the room and had to restart the TV every few hours, GFI outlet popped in the bathroom while using the hair dryer and lastly the roaches came out at night. STAFF was stellar though and tried to help remedy the situation.

I won't be returning to this hotel. The rooms are worn and old, and you had to jiggle the toilet lid to get it to flush. The breakfast had very few options and was terrible. The staff at check-in were unfriendly. Definitely not recommended for families!!!!!

I received a call from staff saying that i needed to pay for my room, before I even arrived. I choose "Pay at Property" for a reason. I have never had anyone call me and told me i needed to pay for my room before getting there. I was having car issues and then to receive a notification that my room had been canceled was ridiculous!! I will never stay at at LA Quinta again!

When I arrived at LaQuinta Hutchins, the parking was convenient and close to the front entrance. The staff greeted me with excellent service, and I was in my room within minutes because I used pre-recheck-in before arrival. The room was clean and comfortable. Speaking to other issues encountered during the stay, the breakfast did not meet my expectations compared to other locations. Luckily, McDonald's is within walking distance. I give the stay four and a half stars.

Hairs in the bathtub. The pool was filled with dead bugs. Other than that, pretty decent.

My only concern with this location is the extreme amount of air deodorizer/air freshener that is used on the bottom floor of the hotel. It is so overwhelming. I have to hold my breath while getting to the elevator or go through the side door. Whichever is closer. Not sure if they are trying to cover-up something that smells worse??

We stayed just for a night as a layover on our way home. The room was humid, but it’s Texas. The carpet felt damp when you walked on it barefoot, the room smelled like it has a mildew issue, and the A/C was not very much assistance. Bonus points for no roaches or bed bugs though! The check in staff overnight was also very welcoming and efficient.

The room was over deodorize. It had a strong scent. It was very clean. The people were very very friendly. The breakfast was outstanding, but there was a lot of noise in the hallways all night long.

Had a res for two nights only needed one desk clerk said was only obligated for one night was pre charged for that night only stayed that night but charged for second night as well

Everyone was friendly. Room was huge. Breakfast wasn’t five-star, but good overall. Great Check-in. Safe parking. Great Value for sure. Great beds made for great sleep!

There was an eyelash on the carpet

The hallways and common areas were trying too hard NOT to look dated but the awful gray was depressing. It wasn’t a total disaster, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The limited staff was polite but overall this stay was just meh. Plus they charge a $5 per night fee. For what? You're NOT a resort. And it's not like they have at least 2 bottles of water for your stay. Stay next door at the Red Roof, it looks new. The Motel 6 nearby might provide the same experience at a lower cost.

I stay at this hotel all the time. It is always VERY VERY clean. The staff is out of their way friendly. The down side, last week the carpet in the room has a worn hole in it. Not just a small one either. At my last stay the tile on the bathroom floor was cracked and broken (like all the way, it moves), it pinched my foot when I walked in there. The tvs are also aged and dated. Last week the room had a smart tv and that was nice. The morning breakfast is always hot and ready. I really like this place and the employees, just spend a little and update/fix some things.

Error on reservation. Called hotel within 5 minutes to try to correct but was denied the opportunity. Tried to resolve through Hotels.com and was also denied. Very frustrated with the whole process. :(

Very affordable and enjoyable for a simple stay on our trip. It's a little bit outside the area we had an event in, and was super convenient to reach our event from.

When we were going to our room we step out of the elevator to what sounds like a mariachi band and just our luck it was the room right beside us. We were in our room for maybe 30-45 minutes listening to the band unfortunately, when someone pulled the fire alarm. Now we leave the room while the firemen check out and reset the alarm. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good. Relaxing quiet stay, not so much.

This hotel is older, but very clean, comfortable and affordable. The only thing I missed is in the shower and somewhere to hang the washcloth. Not a big deal.

The floor in the bathroom had cracked and unsteady flooring, felt like you could fall through, same issue heading to the den and bedroom after the tile to the carpet, could not believe they actually let anyone stay there. The toilet had to be flushed twice to flush each time, ac was not blowing enough to cool room. Breakfast offered is super cheap, no eggs only boiled never been to a hotel that cheap for an expensive price. Will never stay there or another LaQuinta property ever again, ashamed that you even represent that Hotel!

It was great for my needs and close to family, which was all I needed. I didn’t feel like my car was safe, and was escorted to and from the hotel by family. I wouldn’t stay there outside of those needs.

We were there for 3 days and the staff was amazing but unfortunately the floor in tge room was disgusting. We got in late and we were tired so I cleaned what i could myself but it could've been cleaner. But the staff was great everyday.

Room was next to the elevator room 105 and we heard everyone coming in and off of it. We didnt really get to sleep we kept getting woken up. Overall the room was clean but the toliet kept running. There were holes in the curtains but the main issue was the noise i wish there was a mention of the location and the possible influx of traffic and noise it has but its something ill pay attention to next time.

I worked at night and while i slept during the day time, the hotel was nice and quiet

Breakfast was a joke. Small sausages, hard biscuits and cold gravy. TV had a only a few channels and the TV menu was wrong, guest told to come to first desk for correct one. Toilet got clogged and maintenance man brought me to plunger and told me to do it myself.

Good customer service however my room wasn't cleaned and they were short on towels.

There’s one guy at the front desk, believe his name was Joe, that guy deserves a raise of pay, so helpful and attentive. Other than that stay is pretty decent.

I had an excellent stay. Only small complaint would be a little softer bed.

We checked in and went up to our room. There is a metal stip attached to the dresser/tv stand that was loose and sticking out about 12" creating a safety hazard because it was sharp. The closet door latch was broken so did not close. The room (and hotel in general) is clean. The front desk staff is very friendly. When I went down with pictures to show the clerk he seemed genuinely concerned. I told him we were only there 1 night and didnt mind staying in the room due to the late hour I just didn't want to be charged for damages we didn't do. He said he would report the items to maintenance. My grandaughter said her bed was hard and uncomfortable (we had a double queen room).

Perfect location for purpose of trip. No issues with check in or check out. Door dash options are good for quick delivery.
