Uncomfortable bed, Couldn't sleep and difficulty getting into bed. Family emergency needed to check out a day early still had to pay for room we we're able to use. Disabled on fixed income saved for 2 years to afford this get away. Notified staff at around 830 we needed to check out due to family emergency beyond our control. My wife and I used to stay here about 20 times in 2009 to present all of the times were pleasant, but this stay was so disappointing we'll NEVER stay there again. Family Reunion in August were planning on them staying there but not now. Asked for room change and we'd be more comfortable but was denied. We have crossed Dallas Best Western off our list of places to stay. VERY DISAPPOINTED MR.MUNOZ

Everything was great except when I went down for breakfast at 9:25 almost everything was gone…
- 4/5
Older hotel with pleasant staff, convenient parking and satisfactory adequate breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and Madison was very thorough in her cleaning and overall keep of our room...very cool
- 5/5
Room was great! Nice quality. I felt secure staying there. Nice location with quick access to stores yet not in a busy location;keeping your privacy and space.
- 3.5/5
Location and cleanliness. Staff was very helpful, friendly and informative. Rooms were very clean and the location was perfect for our needs. Good restaurants close by and easy access to highways to see the sites. Utilities and electricity did not work. The refrigerator was kept in a cabinet which caused it to overheat. Half of the outlets in the room didn’t work. Breakfast was okay.

Didn't need ac or use amenities. Very safe parking area.

Room was more than adequate. Very clean and comfortable enough. We were very disappointed the pool was closed, and will remain so for months. Overnight staff was great, but day staff were less than helpful. Breakfast buffet ran out of food and it was an inconvenience to make enough for us to eat. Needed more than the two towels in the bathroom and the front desk didn't want to let us have anymore. Overall, I don't think we'll return again. A year ago it was much better... You're only as good as your staff I guess.

- 1.5/5
Slight smell in lobby; counter staff that checked is in was dressed in a graphic tee rather than uniform; no elevator in hotel; hotel is run down and not like online pictures. We were told the pool was closed 'for maintenance' but based on the rest of the hotel, I believe it was just closed because they didn't want to upkeep it. Room was quite large but I think it was because we had a corner room. Toilet low to ground and wall was slanted in a way that made it so that there wasn't a lot of room to sit on the toilet.

Everything in the room worked, no gym and no pool

pleasant room, clean, The tv was a nightmare to operate. Breakfast was a joke, hardly any food by 830, coffee pots were empty and there wasn't any staff at the desk to ask for help.

- 1/5
There was mold in my room and the hot tub was broken
- 4/5
We had an ADA room which was large so we could easily move around w/a walker. The only issue was the bathroom. For someone who is disabled there are no grab bars around the commode to lift yourself off of it. That was a struggle for someone who doesn’t have full use of their legs.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, safe hotel with lots of places to eat close by.
- 5/5
I had the biscuits and gravy. It didn't taste right. Could not finish. The room was clean.
- 3/5
The only real problem I had was that the room smelled. It sounds weird but it smelled like maple syrup. I assume it's some sort of deodorizer they use. It never went away even with the window open for quite some time. We made due but I am sensitive to smells so I could not have stayed another day. The people were friendly and the place was clean. I think it just needs some updates.
- 5/5
Comfortable room. Great price. Decent breakfast. Wonderful service for staff
- 1.5/5
the room we booked was double booked and they offered comparable upgrade from a King suite to a Queen suite, but we down graded for a basic King room because we wanted the king size bed. The room was clean and welcoming even for being basic. When the shower was turned on and running the drain was slow and started to build as if drawing a bath. Stood in water the whole time in the shower. once getting our of the shower it was noted that there was standing water on the floor but unclear if came from curtain run off of leaking from the tub. The toilet ran if you did not jiggle the handle before walking out of the bathroom. There were only 2 towels, 3 hand towels and 2 wash clothes so after showers and mopping up the standing water on the floor we had used all that were provided. Upon check out I informed the front desk of the tub/shower and toilet issues and vs offering any apologies or further conversation another staff member that overheard jumped straight into how to fix the issue.

Room was bare-bones. No shampoo, conditioner, shower cap. Outdated. Breakfast was marginal...very limited. Looks like staffing was minimal. Desk clerk was also doing breakfast. Good points. Nice, safe location. Very nice staff.

No problems, good breakfast

People are living here.
- 5/5
good service and staff were friendly
- 1/5
Bed bugs and the pool was closed unlike advertised
- 4/5
Very friendly staff, room was clean, breakfast was tasty. There was a little construction dust, but they warned us about that in advance.
- 5/5
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Super clean, new or updated hotel. Nice large hot spa/pool. I was really comfortable there and will make a point to come back next time I’m in Oregon.
- 4/5
Location
- 2/5
1 of the towels had 2 very dirty handprints on it and there was not any conditioner with the shampoo. Even though we notified them that we would not be staying a second night 24 hours before the 2nd night, they would not issue any credit for this and probably got a double booking on the room. We will no longer stay at a Best Western Inn
- 4/5
The place is clean and great location.it’s quiet.
- 4/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Very good hotel.

- 5/5
Everyone was pleasant and helpful :-)
- 5/5
It was very present and nice like usual breakfast was very good. Nice and clean area. Thank you so much.
- 5/5
very clean and nice good restaurants next door Chen's Family Dish Chinese Food...excellent!!
- 3/5
Brand new t.v.'s were a major pain to figure out ( this was also told to us by front desk with t.v. issue) . Bed was super comfy. That was the best part of the stay. Breakfast was below average and not acustomed properly made for remaning guests. 3 pieces of bacon 3 biscuits and 2 eggs were in trays that all remained.. Only 3 other people that went for breakfast in the early morning that we seen and there wasn't enough for us left over and staff that was in breakfast room was listening to us talk about this and they just stood there looking at us as we only got a cup of juice and we said " I guess we're going out to eat this morning.". And we walked out And she just sat there.

This hotel is “individually owned and operated”, therefore is not on the same level of a true Best Western. The room had broken lamps, huge missing vinyl pieces peeled off the desk chair, dirty & marred desk, extremely poor lighting above sink area, no housekeeping services except one day one small trash container was emptied. Had to ask for additional soap bar for shower- there were No local area info materials, tablet/pen. The room was dingy &
- 5/5
I had the best nights sleep I have had in a long time.
- 4/5
Good place to stay for a night or two. No elevator, so that's not great!!
- 5/5
Everything was fine
- 4/5
Good breakfast Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Friendly check in, nice room
- 2/5
Expensive for what we got they were remodeling carpet should’ve got a discount, rooms were pieced together
- 3/5
It's mostly the only game in town in Dallas, and it follows the sad trend of hotels in the USA not being what they once were in the 90s, with the quality and principal of hotel keeping just not what it was.
- 4/5
The room was clean , they are remodeling for stuff was piled up in places
- 2/5
Breakfast was terrible, hotel is very run down. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.
- 4/5
The room was clean, although even though they have a no smoking policy it seemed as if the room had been smoked in and since I'm sensitive to smoke odor it was not pleasant.
- 5/5
Comfortable stay!
- 5/5
The rooms and hotel are always, friendly, clean and courteous. This trip looked like they were replacing carpet and doing upgrades to the property however rolled carpets in parking lot and in main lobby all week, actually 8 nights and same view of a remodel... Lets say my stay there however ok...but i felt like we were in the way of a remodel... And i sure would have chosen elsewhere had i known. Once again the staff was great snd very accommodating...still 5 stars 🌟 Ty Jp..California
- 1/5
Rooms were not ready till 630 on one, 7pm on the other. Pool/ Spa did not work. I called the day before and asked for room really close to each other. My mom with Alzheimer’s is 85. When I got here our rooms were 217 and 212, they assured me there was not going to be a problem and then it was! We have stayed here before but this was horrible!
- 3/5
Remodeling carpet and baseboards during our stay. I was surprised they had a spa pool as it wasn't on the amenities list. I would have brought my swimsuit. The breakfast was good.
- 3/5
Felt it was overpriced for the location. The bed was rock hard, so I didn't get a comfortable sleep and the hotel was laying down new carpeting which created a visual of being on a construction site. Also the TVs were defaulted on Game mode and after I got it back to TV mode. When I left or went to sleep (tried to anyway) and turned off the TV it would default back to game mode
- 4/5
Great stay !
- 5/5
We would stay here again!
- 1/5
We got into room, bed had red stuff and was wet. Moved to another room. Fridge broke over night and rotted all our fruit and foods for morning. Moved to another room. Just over it at this point
- 2/5
Just a basic 1 star motel. Just needed it for the location.
- 5/5
This location is always clean with friendly staff, and a nice breakfast.
- 1/5
Booked this hotel for the pool, drove all day to get there and the pool was out of service. Requested to cancel reservation and was denied. All the staff we encountered we rude, short with customers and not helpful. Would recommend staying in Salem and driving to Dallas.
- 3/5
The room was a little dirty (grimy, a lot of signs of wear and tear. The cleaning crew didn’t put any toilet paper jn our bathroom.
- 3/5
No elevator for transporting all the luggage we had I have a cane and this was difficult I just assumed it would as other Best Westerns have this available. I was told they only had 1 ADA room and it was taken by an older couple. How old do you need to be ? I am 77 ? Breakfast looked good but closed at 9am too early for me to eat and so we didn't get a chance to even par take. should be available until at least 10
- 2/5
Only game in town. Usually no one at desk. Room was smelly.
- 3/5
They had only one room ready for us. It was a hassle for sure.
- 5/5
Wash clothes not replaced when dirty ones were taken.
- 4/5
We were happy with this hotel. We stay at Best Western hotels all the time.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
It was clean but worn. New carpet is being installed now which will improve the ambiance. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, excellent service.
- 5/5
Clean room. Great staff.
- 5/5
So close to walking paths and shopping.
- 5/5
Friendly and very clean
- 2/5
The property is in need of renovation. Carpeting in the hallways and stairway is worn and stained. Room did not seem very clean - debris on carpet, tub surround had a big wad of long hairs stuck to the wall. Towels are thin and small. Furniture in room is worn. The outlets in a couple of the table lamps were coming out of the base of the lamp exposing wires.
- 5/5
It was pretty quiet.
- 2/5
Floor in bathroom wasn’t clean, still had dirt, no hair dryer, spa pool smelled like acetone when you walked in the space, carpets in hall looked like dried milk stains were near our door and a couple other places……I could go on, but for that price I could’ve spent a little more for cleaner and quieter facilities
- 3/5
Staff at desk were hardly there. (Only when checking in after waiting for them to come to front) or when checking out. Any time I left or returned no one there. Room is run down but I had to clean drawers to put clothes in them. Breakfast was super limited-very little I could pick from because of allergies
- 5/5
The property and room were clean. We did get a good night sleep and did not experience any unnecessary noise. The complimentary breakfast was also good. The only negative was the missing sink stopper. It allowed you to see the rusting pipe and other Yuck that you would normally not see with a stopper.
- 3/5
Room was dirty. I didn’t see much staff around, so they may have been short staffed.
- 4/5
The place was super clean and nice. The service was pretty good. The room was clean but wasn't very comfortable. Pool and spa combo was different but couldn't be called a hot tub as the website advertised. That was disappointing. Breakfast was nice. Hot breakfast options. Overall a pretty good stay
- 2/5
Never have hot water, lukewarm, dirty carpet. No one at front desk when checking in, very very limited gym
- 5/5
Check in was quick and convenient. Room was tidy and stocked. Would definitely stay again!
- 2/5
No one at front desk when we arrived. Floor in our room was damp, room smelled musty.
- 3/5
It smelled very musky in this place. Looked like stuff had rundown the walls. The lamp by the bed looked like someone had knifed it on both sides and someone tried to glue it together. We also had booked a king bed and were told they were sold out when we arrived. Why have people book ahead then? This place needs a good scrub and new paint for sure.
- 5/5
Nice, clean and quiet hotel with a friendly staff and a nice breakfast room. Perfect for us and our 2 pups to spend Christmas Eve with family and then stay the night in comfort before heading home.
- 5/5
I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Great staff. Nice clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast. Very happy. Thank you.
- 3/5
The property's Hot Tub was not warm. That was a bit of a dissapointment as we specifically looked for a property with a hot tub.
- 4/5
It was perfect for a quick stayover. Clean and easy access
- 5/5
Great hotel. Highly recommended
- 5/5
Very comfy bedding. Very clean bathroom. Perfectly white, clean shower curtain with no mold, a rare hotel find! Need direction on how to use liquid soap/shampoo set up. Overall very neat room.
- 2/5
Although the continental breakfast was excellent.
- 5/5
This hotel was very nice. A little pricey
- 4/5
Claen rooms.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We will be back
- 5/5
All good…
- 3/5
Unfortunately, I encountered many things that made me uncomfortable and felt like my money was being wasted. The floorboards felt very uneven, walking barefoot was an experience. The pipe leading to the fire sprinkler in the celing was clearly leaking as a line of peeling celing was heading towards the bed in the direction of the sprinkler. As for the lamp on the left side of the bed - It had a SHATTERED fluorescent light. Towels are thin as paper, as well as the toilet paper itself. The bathrooms have decent quality shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. This sounds nice, until you want to take a bath and/or have a concern of SLIPPING in the bathtub. Because you have to squeeze these bottles (With their opening underneath) to get the soap, so they often drip. Both years I found streams of slippery soap running down the bathtub from the back. If you lean back in the bathtub, it also can drip on your head... very unfortunate. Hotel beds are mid, clearly used quite a bit and have lumpy/uneven spots. Pillows are the same, though I always bring my own personally for that reason. All in all, it felt like a worse motel 6. Staff were nice and helpful, check in and check out were easy, but it has it's problems.
- 5/5
We booked a non-smoking, no pets room. It was fantastic! We were on the bottom floor, we had our own private deck. A huge comfortable bed, a huge jaccuzzi tub in the corner. They had pastries and fruit available for breakfast. It was a GREAT room! Lots of TV channels including Disney and Hallmark. It was only about 43 steps to the beach. If I can do it anyone can! I have had my hip replaced, screws in my knee and major back surgery. The beach was a great beach. They have a big patio with places to sit around a fire pit or you can roast marshmallows. Their bathrooms are AWESOME! You have to experience it to believe it. Parking is tight. We will be back.
- 1/5
The spa was not a spa, no hot tub!! it says Hot Tub on the wall but the front desk guy told us it was not and that they had to keep the water cool for kids, that they could not turn on heat. Yet they had like a steamer in there to make it like a sauna. Our room stank. Smelled horrible. I stayed here years ago and I don’t think they clean the carpets well nor do they shampoo them.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, great breakfast, rooms really need updated and the bathrooms especially.
- 5/5
Our stay was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.

Good coffee (for a hotel) friendly staff, comfortable bed, plenty of parking. Small pool
- 3/5
Breakfast is served at 7 and not one minute before.
- 4/5
Shower curtain was covered with mildew; just replace it!
- 4/5
For the price, over $200 per night, it was so-so. Everything was ok, but not special at all. Clean, but tired bathroom, terrible lighting. View of the back of the building and another building, I think. There is no real alternative in this town, so that is what you get. It was clean. That's it. Torn upholstery on the desk chair was disappointing. Tired and grubby carpet though. When I checked in, I had to sign that I wouldn't destroy anything..REALLY? Oh boy.
- 4/5
Needs a good deep clean there is still carpet and that needs a good clean. Bed was okay shower head needs updated, there should be a sitting area there can be a chair next to the tall light in the room. There is no elevator and you have to carry everything up stairs.
- 3/5
When first checking in, had to wait like 5 mins for someone to show up. Group had called ahead asking for the first floor and was told that we would but I was the only one given the second floor. I wouldn’t have minded if they had an elevator, which they don’t. Try making multiple trips with triathlon gear and bike when your legs don’t wanna work after the event. The “hot” tub pool was barely considered bathtub warm and front desk said they couldn’t turn the heat up because kids use it. The free breakfast was good but very average food. Carpet looks like it seen quite a few years. There is a Walmart and Safeway within walking distance. Also a good Chinese food establishment and bar close by.
- 3/5
The staff could be more attentive to the guests' needs. We had to ask housekeeping for toiletpaper and showersoap even though they made up the room. When we arrived, the room wasn't completely made, there were pillows with unchanged pillowcases in the middle of the bed. The weekend breakfast attendant spent most of her time on the phone. One had to get her attention and ask to refill coffee canisters, napkins, glasses, etc. The fitness room had a terrible rubbery smell, and consisted of 3 pieces of equipment. The elliptical was making a loud creaking noise and was wobbly. I notified the staff, but there was no change at the end of the week. No weights or exercise ball, no mats. The fitness room and hot tub area could be cleaner. The hallway areas could be cleaner as well.
- 4/5
The rooms need some TLC mold in bathrooms
- 5/5
A really nice hotel, convenient to Beaverton.
- 4/5
Very comfortable room. Nice people running hotel, friendly.
- 5/5
Ed was super nice and very kind and welcoming, Ed toad is his name!
- 4/5
Quiet, clean , good breakfast, good befs
- 4/5
First off, we could not locate an elevator in the hotel so had to haul our luggage to the 2nd floor. Not a big deal except that my husband is recovering from shoulder replacement surgery. Upon entering the room we immediately smelled a stale cigarette smoke odor. The room smelled like it had been closed up too long. Maybe think about opening up some windows while cleaning.
- 3/5
It was good. No body wash in the shower.
- 5/5
Filters need cleaned on ac/heating unit, and toilet paper holder needs firmed up. Room had slight odd smell at check-in.
- 3/5
First room was very messy. Needed a complete wipe down. Stains on the walls and bed skirt. Floors were not good. Got switched to a different room for the second night. That one was much more clean and consistent for the price range.
- 5/5
All was very comfortable. The only things that were sub-par was the questionable vacuumed sofa and the surface damaged ottoman. The body wash and shampoo/conditioner dispensers were empty but I travel with my own anyway. Great place overall!
- 2/5
It was not the friendly or the cleanest. There was no shampoo or conditioner or body wash in the room and the Kleenex was empty and the handles on the furniture was dirty. For the price it was very disappointing. The employees were not very friendly when I brought up the issues. The hallways were not air conditioned and it was very warm. Sadly it wasn’t what we had hoped for.
- 4/5
Beds were hard and the couch wasnt very comfy. The space in the oversized rooms was amazing. The bathroom fan was horribly loud and made an awful noise.
- 3/5
I agree with other reviewers this hotel needs to be updated. Seemed clean enough, but a bit run down compared to other Best Westerns I've stayed in. Fridge was barely cool so I put a bucket of ice in it to keep my food cold. Everything else ok; staff was friendly.
- 1/5
Thier explanation of it were a bunch of baloney! I will never stay there again !
- 1/5
It was clean, quiet, and staff was very nice.
- 4/5
Quick stop. Nice Room. No elevator if that matters. Friendly staff. Comfy bed.
- 4/5
Nice stay
- 4/5
There were no washcloths in the bathroom, the body wash was nearly empty (or maybe just didn't work well?), and single ply toilet paper is like sandpaper.
- 5/5
The Hotel was nice. And the room was clean. The Breakfast in the morning is good. The only thing that we notice was the bathroom sink dud not drain well. But everything else was fine. Thanks Dean & Gale Riley.
- 3/5
There was a burst pipe when I checked in which they failed to mention until after the check in process was so there was no water for a couple of hours.
- 2/5
The vanity sink was leaking and kept my wife up all night. There was no soap in the shower and only two towels
- 2/5
Unfortunately, our experience on this stay was not nearly as good as the last visit. We found dark stains on the pillow, trash behind the night stand, and the room smelled of cigarettes (non smoking room). We tried to relay this information, but we could not find an English speaking staff member before checking out. Probably will pass next time.
- 4/5
Standard room no frills
- 4/5
The sink drain was clogged. Front desk staff were kind and provided draino and also offered to pour it for us. I think they did the best they could. Housekeeping should ensure however that the drains drain properly after they have cleaned them to prevent this from happening in the future.
- 5/5
My stay was fantastic!
- 3/5
Multiple mold spots on bathroom walls. Otherwise the place is good.
- 5/5
Nice and clean facilities. Friendly staff
