Reviews
Many guests express disappointment with their stay at the Cupertino Hotel, citing issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations, which may contribute to some of the problems. However, some guests appreciate the large rooms, convenient location, and friendly staff.

The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing, although on the day there was sausage there, I liked how it was cooked with no grease left on it. When you let the outside door to the room go, it makes a very loud noise when it slams shut. There should be something to either slow how fast it closes or some cushioning so that it doesn't sound so loud and potentially disturb guests in other rooms.

Location was okay, given the region's specifics. The room was big enough (though I had to book the Executive Two Queens Suite - the only one available at that moment). The parking space was good to have. Staff members were all different - some friendly, others not. The choice of food for breakfast was quite poor. The blinds in the room were weird (and some of them were broken). Lightning was dim. You can't open the windows if you want to. And the main disappointment is about the deposit: during the checkout, I asked the staff member (who was also very slow with the company invoice, which eventually had some issues in it) when it would be released, and he said that it would take 5 to 7 days. Now it's the 18th day since I left, but I still haven't received my deposit back. They are not responding to my messages at all.

Good room size, quiet Everything was just kind of run down. Tiles had stains, accessories in bathroom were beat up, the shutters in room were broken, could not close all the way, bright lights from outside lights came through making it difficult to sleep. Just seems like a struggling property.

No toilet paper in the room, had to track down house keeping because my wife was stuck on the toilet. House keeper didn't speak english and wouldn't give me toilet paper at first. She came off rude. The room ceiling had stains, pillows were small, the room had cobwebs, had to run around the building to find out there were only 2 ice machines, found out they were on the 1st and 3rd floor, I was staying on the 2nd floor. Front desk employees seems like they don't want to be there. Atmosphere is pretty depressing. Definitely not worth the money is cost to stay here.

The location was perfect for our needs. Loved the room location to the center pool. Breakfast was great and hot and the overall Cleves was perfect.

No microwaves in the room. Front office can send one to you room for $10 and a two hour wait.

Many things were not working such as: room telephone, room air conditioner, elevator, the heated pool, outlets in the room. Also if you have a room on the 1st level near the water fountains prepare to hear them loud and clear all night. Although many things need to be repaired, replaced and cleaned it is not too bad for the price.

I have stayed at this hotel often because I love the spacious quiet rooms. Breakfast is great. Check in staff are very offhand and uninterested in meeting people. But management really should liven up the exterior and hallways; it is looking old, worn, even dirty in parts. And like last time, one of the elevators wasn’t working. Great location!

Overall it was a good stay. They had a broken elevator with no sign indicating that it was broken and a leaky tub faucet.

Plenty of parking. All staff was kind and welcoming. Common areas and room was clean. Pool and outdoor area well kept. My only complaint is that my room was on the side with the hotel name so the spot lights shown through my window. The window only has shutters so the light shown through the cracks. Windows need blackout curtains.

The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were good. Window shutters made the room dark. Carpet had tons of stains, and just looked weird. Windows do not block loud noise from the freeway. Bathroom was not clean, with black hair that was not ours. Wallpaper is peeling in room and bathroom. Breakfast is terrible. Cream cheese available, but no bagels except on first of three days. Sometimes coffee carafe is empty. One day had eggs and potatoes, but no sausage or bacon. Every day at 6 am, elevator opens with someone pushing a very loud cart. On the weekend, people want to sleep later and not be disturbed by loud noises that early.

Overall good experience upon checking in. But for check out I had asked the staff when I checked in the day before if it was okay to do a late check out at 12pm and he said that would be fine. The day of checkout I got a call around 11am staff was not friendly not a hi how was your stay just a “so when are you checking out?” Felt rude and not good customer service.

The room was very large and the pool area was beautiful! I had a great stay.
- 4/5
I liked that it was close to the freeway and a grocery store. I liked the warm pool The pools bottom had some debris but it seems that they tried to clean it everyday. I could tell the hotel was getting some wear and tear but I could tell it used to be really nice when it was new. I would suggest repainting walls and doors and keeping it throughly maintained and cleaned. Like the fountain near the swimming pool seemed a little dirty.

breakfast on Sunday was good with the sausage very good. Something done about the broken floor board in our room that my husband cut his foot on. I reported it and when we got back to the room that night it wasn't fixed nor covered up. When I ordered a king bedroom I thought it meant a king size bed but it wasn't.

The first room had a clear ant infestation, with 20–30 ants coming out of the bathtub handle while I was trying to shower. We were moved to a second room, which also had ants in the bathroom, and eventually to a third room. By that point it was late evening, and we had spent over an hour repeatedly packing and unpacking, which is not acceptable for a hotel stay. I was also concerned that the elevators had expired inspection permits posted inside the elevator cars. What ultimately lowered this to 2 stars was the hotel’s response afterward. Despite documentation, the hotel refused to offer any refund or compensation and deferred everything to Expedia, showing little accountability. I would caution future guests who care about cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

The hotel is clean and in a great location, and the breakfast is simple but reasonable for the price. There was noticeable noise from the floor above at night . Customer service could be improved, the staff didn’t smile or greet customers during check-in, which felt unwelcoming and strange.
- 4/5
The layout of the room was nice. A private room and then the bedroom allowed for being together in a tight space without being constricted. The breakfast was skimpy with basic items. Bananas were gone by the time we got there at 8:00 a,m, and there was no one around to ask questions and there was no place to bus your dishes so they were left on the tables. We expected eggs and perhaps breakfast sausage as we wanted to have a decent breakfast before we got on the road.

Breakfast was ok Maybe a few more items and food choices . The dining room furniture was out dated . Could be updated with a softer more modern furniture and tables . I was very disappointed the pool and spa were not heated . I probably would not have stayed had I know that in advance. The room 304 was ok . Dutch the old school desk chairs and put in a nice chase and comfy arm chair . Prune and trim and shape the beautiful overgrown landscape in the courtyard . Maybe think about remodeling and updating the bathrooms with walk in showers and only have a few bath tubs for families . Make happy hour 2 hours , not 1 . Staff was nice and professional. Good location. My room had buzzing mechanical noise all night. Needs new window treatments. Sheres and blackout drapes. Ditch the big wood levelores . Maybe upgrade to lager hd tvs tv programs were good. Overall I was comfortable and felt safe . Good location . New complete Paint to get a fresh and updated look both exterior and in the rooms and floors on the hallways.

The front desk staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The conditions of the rooms is another story. We had 5 family members rent rooms there for Christmas vacation. Our room had the bathroom sink leaking. Another room had the hot water faucet not working. Another room had water on the floor between the beds. One room had the Maid sign hanging on the door but the room was never serviced. The breakfast Monday through Thursday mornings provide hot scrambled eggs and sausages. Its not advertised that Friday to Sunday it's a Continental breakfast. The price was right for this area but the upkeep was disappointing

There is some misleading advertising. Photos show a fully lit working fireplace. It was the reason we booked the room. When we checked in, call the front desk to get help starting the fireplace. They said they would send someone up. 30 mins later, called again; again they would send someone up. Waited all night and no one came to help. Next morning ask the front desk, they say actually we can't use it, claiming city ordinance because it creates too much smoke. Why didn't the person who worked the front desk tell us that in the first place. Why do you have pictures of the fireplace and listed as an amenity if you can't use it. The breakfast on the weekend is okay. They don't have staff regularly checking the supply of food. Breakfast is from 7 am to 10 am. Went down around 8 am and they were out of hard boiled eggs (the only source of protein) for breakfast that is offered. Waited 20 mins to see if any more were going to be brought out. Nothing, had to go to the front desk to inform them about the eggs. Finally more eggs came out.

The hotel staff was very nice and courteous. They initially gave me a very old dungy room (as I needed early checkin) but once I mentioned it was not a good room, they gave me another room that was more updated and a night and day difference!! Also, the new room had a leak with the bathtu faucet which they were aware and not fixed it. For my last day in evening I saw some black ants in the bathroom and on the bed. Overall saty was OK

When I checked in, it was Halloween night, and the hotel already felt like a haunted house — the hallway lights were dim, and I could hear banging and clattering noises from inside the room. I forgot a bag of food in the refrigerator, and it was already sliced, so I wanted to go back and get it. But the front desk staff were extremely impatient, showed no smile, and told me to wait for at least half and hour. So rude!

I booked this hotel last minute for a surprisingly decent rate. It was nice and fairly clean for the most part. The bed headboard in my room was a bit unstable when leaning back on it. The bathtub looked a old and could use a remodel. The pillows were too soft with no support. I wished this hotel offered individual shampoos and soaps instead of the mystery dispenser soaps. There was complimentary breakfast of limited variety of pastries, fruit, and beverages which was ok. The staff member at checkout was kind and approachable, can't say the same about the one at check-in. Overall this hotel was good for just an overnight stay. 4 stars for the clean room and cost. The other mentions are for the hotel to improve on.

My son and I came down for a weekend getaway and stayed at the Cupertino Hotel. The lobby staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the start. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the purple lighting in the walkway. It was a bit dark and not very inviting. My son even said it gave off a “sus” vibe 😂. Was difficult to see. Other than that, everything was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking here again for future visits!

While the hotel looks nice from outside, my stay was less enjoyable than expected. The overall atmosphere felt a bit dull, and the hallways could use better lighting to make the place feel more welcoming. For a room priced around $340 per night, I was surprised to find no microwave available. The bed and mattress are old. The breakfast was just average, and one of the staff members seemed somewhat casual and not fully attentive. The cleaning staff comes only in the morning and that’s it. If we need extra pillows or towels, we need to wait until next day. With some improvements in service and amenities, this hotel could offer a much better in a prime location.

If we need extra pillows or towels, we need to wait until next day. With some improvements in service and amenities, this hotel could offer a much better in a prime location.

2. When we arrived (around 4) we didn’t had hand soap, or lotion provided in the room, when called the front desk she said “ people have left, you can come in and grab it from the front desk”. Why you do not have anyone for room-service all the time. 3. Like other people said the breakfast was just ok. Just the bread options, no focus on fiber or protein.

Our room was at 80 degrees when we arrived, but the air conditioning would not cool. There was no hot water available in the sink tap in the bathroom. We called the desk. They called maintenance, who couldn't get the air conditioning to work. We were then given a room where these issues did not exist, but the bathtub tap would not turn without herculean effort, making it hard to turn the water on or off. The tub's tap leaked once you got it to turn off. The carpeting was worn and in need of replacement. The room's refrigerator cooled items inside, but it was in a cabinet which held all of the unit's excess heat unless the door was opened. It was a bit like having a refrigerator in a heated box. We left a tag to request maid service on the door the next morning, but when we returned to the room in the evening, the tag was on the ground outside the door and the room was not serviced. When we inquired at the desk, where we were told that some of the housekeeping staff did not speak English and had probably assumed that the tag, which clearly said, "Maid Service, Please", actually meant "Do Not Disturb". On the plus side, we were given fresh towels at the desk. We were very disappointed. We had come to the hotel because our previous stay was pleasant. This stay was anything but and we will not return.

Very decently priced hotel! The rooms were great and the location is nice as well. Although the customer service could use some work. The front desk agents are clueless, any questions we had they didnt know. The first lady we spoke too was great but any person after that was like it was their first day. We were a bit disappointed also the bartender was a bit weird and did not accept card which wasnt a big deal but inconvenient. I would absolutely stay here again though the views were stunning and very decently priced. Its right by a shopping strip. The parking is an outdoor parking anyone can access. The interior looks very nice though, hopefully they work on their customer service next time.

The landscaping is mature and garden like, pleasant. Likely due to CA water restrictions, the beautiful fountain in the photos was empty. Breakfast was very modest but okay. The hotel is aging. Carpet in the room was worn. We had a leaky bathtub hot water line that made the bath room humid, possibly explaining the bit of mold on the wall. We heard the tap was scheduled for repair. We had a few black ants. However, I think they are doing a good job with likely limited resources. Desk manager Juan was polite and accommodating.

We went for a concert and had a great time. Being able to come back to a nice comfy place was nice. The only problem is that I left behind my mirror. I didn’t get a phone call or email that I left my property behind. I didn’t even notice until I got home but was surprised no one called or emailed to let me know. So it no one called to tell me then that means they probably kept it for themselves which isn’t ok.

The hotel room itself smelled bad, like mould maybe? Or old rug. And the property was advertised with beautiful fountain pools all running, and they were empty. So perhaps the photos were old because it did not look like it did in the photos. It makes for a Bigger expectations. But the pool was nice and relaxing. The hot tub was not hot at all it was another cool pool. Other than that everything else was fine.

The room itself was okay. They provide a coffee maker and enough coffee for one cup of coffee or no cups at all when housekeeping ignores the coffee machine. Housekeeping, may or may not remember to leave a bath mat in the bathroom too. There is a very limited breakfast that is supposed to be served at 6:30am but in reality, 6:30 is when they start setting up. Overall it was simply not a good experience and there are two many other options for me to ever stay there again.

The bedroom had only two standard outlets and only one was remotely close to the bed. No other place to plug things in to charge. In the bed room. Breakfast Friday through Sunday was hardly a breakfast, a little better on weekdays. A deposit was paid t on my credit card at checkin since the room was prepaid, at checkout I was told it would not be reversed for 5 to 7 days and would not receive any email with the reversal. Terrible hotel do not waste your money.

The rooms carpets need to be replaced (looks old and soiled). My original room 425 had a bed that was creaking with every move. We did not rest well the first night. We requested and moved ourselves to another room. The bed in room 325 was also noisy but not as bad. If you get a room on freeway side, it will be noisy. There was a food menu under the glass covered night stand. However, when I went down stars to order, I was told the hotel no longer served food but free breakfast only. I did not try the breakfast. The rooms have entry doors within the building but the majority of the rooms seem to have a balcony entrance that over looks the courtyard and pool.

The place was definitely better than I expected. The only issue was breakfast, it’s advertised as being available during certain hours, but in reality, once they run out, they don’t restock. They should consider making it first come, first served to set the right expectation. Other than that, the whole place was very reasonable.

A truly awful experience. Check in time was 4 PM but I arrived early at 1:30 PM and asked the very unhelpful assistant at the front desk if would it be possible that I check in early. He said yes for $45. I said I would go to coffee shop and come back later. I came back at 3:30 and asked another gentleman at the front desk if it would be possible I could check in and he said no my room was not ready yet but five minutes later it was and I checked in early. Upon inspection of the room I found a utility knife on top of the bed head and then during the night the next-door neighbors started a party and at 5:30 AM started smoking weed which filleted in it into my room through the adjoining door. I had to get up and leave hotel and check out early.

Room was great. Everything else about the hotel was not. The common areas like hallways/walkways are in poor condition (they look more like what you'd expect in a motel 6 than in a 4 star hotel) and the breakfast was pathetic
- 3/5
Old and tired! Carpets were stained and lumpy. I would not walk anywhere without shoes. Stained furniture within our room and broken down lobby and pool furniture throughout. Expected more for the price paid.
- 2/5
I requested for a high level room but I didn't get it. Instead, I got a room in the corner. The toilet didn't flush. After a long day out, I came back to a smelly room with a surprised worker in the restroom. I went to the front desk and told the receptionist, she told me there's no more room so I have to check out of the hotel. I asked to speak to the manager, she got me another. No apology! No compensation.
- 3/5
The hotel was probably very nice at one time, but not handling its age very well. It looks like might be closing in the near future, could be why they’re not doing fixes and upgrades.
- 2/5
All of the signs around the pool area are faded or missing information, the lounge chairs are discolored, which is expected given the California sun. The jacuzzi has a sign stating that the maximum capacity is 2 people despite being sized for 6-8 people, and the front desk staff had no idea about whether that was an active policy or not. Staff also did not perform checks and allowed guests to drink from glass bottles while in the jacuzzi. Overnight, we hardly slept because the bed is dipping and dated, and I found myself having to use the very worn and flattened pillows to wedge under me to try and stay flat in the bed. Our AC also did not maintain a stable temperature overnight leading to us overheating in the night and then freezing an hour later. When we went to check out this morning, the front desk attendant had headphones in and performed the bare minimum to check us out. He did not ask how the stay was. We also noted that all of the permits for the location expired in 2023.

While the general hotel amenities (pool/general areas) seemed slightly unkempt/uncared for, the room was very nice and had a layout that offered privacy to the bed area which I enjoyed. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful.
- 4/5
Breakfast bar could be a little better. But adequate.Good coffee.
- 1/5
Extremely dirty carpeting, mold in bathroom. Housekeeping did come around until after 3:00 pm or later. Plates and drinks containers not picked up. Chilled water dispenser was not chilled as advertised on unit. Top of the trash containers in the dining room had food all over the top.

It doesn't have laundry facility on-site as listed on hotels.com and you need to drive to use the "nearby" gym.

The Cupertino hotel looked great when looking for a place to stay, while staying at the hotel reviews online didn't match up to the service we received. The front desk staff for both check in and out were very friendly and professional. The bartender in the lounge was also friendly and happy to help us get a few sodas. The hotel is enclosed where the pool is in the center of the court yard. It looked elegant from the photos and they had day of the week mats in the elevators. We staid in an Executive King which includes a living room, large dual sink bathroom and a full size bedroom with king bed and closet. Both the bedroom and living area had a TV. The room was clean, well maintained and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.
- 1/5
We stayed in Cupertino Hotel a few years ago and we liked it. So we booked it again this year. However, the condition and the service deteriorated badly. They were doing renovation in the lobby without telling us when we booked. The breakfast was poor. Will not stay in this hotel again.
- 1/5
Worst hotel ever
- 5/5
The room was spacious with a separate living area from the bedroom. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was set up nicely, and surrounding area has everything you would want.
- 5/5
We had a great stay! Happy hour drink before our concert was nice, lots of plants looked cool, clean room. Just had a nice day !
- 1/5
The waterfall that's pictured as the profile picture for this hotel was completely drained. The two free drinks that were supposed to be daily were only offered on Fridays. The "bar" and "restaurant" that were advertised did not exist. The "bar" was the happy hour from 5-6 on Fridays, and there was no restaurant; they said it was now closed. Even though there was an advertisement in the room that said the restaurant was open daily. Overall, horrible experience. We thought the convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel would make up for not being in town, and then it was the opposite, with there not even being a restaurant as falsely advertised.
- 3/5
Due to renovations, elevators were not available during check-in and check out. No VIP perks and the hotel did not look much like the pictures. Not a 4 star hotel
- 4/5
Great value for money. Separate living and bed room. Cable TV and good wifi. I liked the breakfast. It was simple but enough.
- 5/5
It was beautiful, clean and over all a great place to stay!
- 5/5
Very convenient just off freeways
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. Staff was very welcoming.
- 4/5
Great room, updated, roomy and comfortable. The rest of the hotel was very spartan like. Continental breakfast was very sparse in what it offered. Lighting at the hotel entrance and around rooms was very poor.
- 4/5
This was a convenient location to many restaurants and shopping. Very close to highway access. The property is a bit dated but well maintained. It was also very quiet. The room was much bigger than expected. If I had to stay in Cupertino again, I'd stay here.

This was our first time at this at this hotel we were in room 128 it was comfortably clean except I noticed a layer of dust on the vent. The courtyard water fountain is out of order and very large so it is an eye sore. We had a one room suite it was well designed. The bathroom needed the towel shelf re-hung, it was too low and too close tothe tub I nit my head on it there is a stabilizing bar hung inthe shower area and it interfered with the shower space. The free breakfast was very poor, hard boil - ed-eggs,fruit, and cereal. The coffee is good.
- 2/5
Breakfast was extremely basic, this property should not be listed as a four star hotel. When they offer nothing but cereal and toast. For breakfast,

We have stayed here for years with our family. It was our favorite hotel to stay in anytime we visited the area. This trip was different.
- 1/5
Even though my reservation was confirmed by expedia, the hotel did not honor the reservation. This caused me lots of problems. I would avoid this place. Even if you have a reservation, you might not.

- 3/5
Just like junk food.
- 4/5
Hallway was dark. Carpet was very worn in spots.
- 4/5
Wonky furniture.
- 2/5
The carpets were filthy, the outside was overgrown with dead vines and it looked as though it was not taken care of at all. The continental breakfast was a joke and the food did not look fresh. The rooms smelled bad and felt somewhat unsafe because of the outside facing door.
- 4/5
Large rooms. Great location. Breakfast does not have many options.
- 1/5
My poor review is simply for the management at this property - not against Expedia. Upon waking in my room the morning after my stay, I had a sore throat and terrible headache. While in the bathroom that morning, I noticed a considerable amount of black mold near the bathroom sink - which I failed to notice the night before (I was extremely tired after working a 14 hour day). I immediately called the front desk to notify them of the health and safety concern, and their manager stated they wouldn’t provide me a discount or refund as I failed to notice the black mold when entering the room the night before. The staff was extremely dismissive of this legitimate health concern, so I reached out to Expedia and reported it to them. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and reached out to the hotel manager, who continued to be dismissive towards her as well.
- 2/5
Could use better tubs.
- 5/5
Quiet place with a reasonable price, definitely would book again!
- 2/5
They only have basically one person to handle your needs. all day, no maitenance past 5 pm. I had a problem with TV around 8 pm one night and the reply was you have to wait until tomorrrow! They're really not accommodating! I would only stay there again if the rates were low and you were on a budget.
- 4/5
We stayed six nights and there was no water in bathroom around midnight in two nights. Called the service dept and nobody answered the call. Then call the front desk and replied to check it. We waked at 5am and found water recovered.
- 4/5
The continental breakfast was reasonable if I ignore the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and vegetarian protein options. It offered white and brown bread, assorted muffins, fruits, boiled and scrambled eggs, sausage, potato capsicum mix, yogurt and cereals. Coffee was available 24x7, though it was hot only during the early hours. The "happy hour" was a nice touch; beer, wine, coke and sprite were available. The facility requires renovation and attentive maintenance. Housekeeping staff should be more careful while doing their job. However, I have to mention that not all housekeeping staff was careless, some days the job was well done. Tip: Let the front desk know in advance if you need daily cleaning. Check the temperature control of the room and availability of toiletries in the bathroom.

It was a pleasant stay.

I Love the Cupertino Hotel. Its located right off of 280. The rooms are nice sized and have everything you need. I love the courtyard they have in the middle with the pool and hot tub. They have super cute lights in that area at night. We used the hot tub every night and it was great. Also was a big fan of their happy hour they have every night between 5-6pm.

Door didn't seal at the floor, breakfast was very basic, so I skipped it, carpet very worn, AC not great.

Great. Just need a chair other than desk chair to sit on.

We’ve been here a few times and it’s a little run down from before, you can see it in the room and the continental breakfast. There used to be a whole spread for breakfast but now it’s cereal, some toast and muffins. The very heated pool made up for all that. Would still stay here again just for the convenience of location.

Average hotel with reasonable price

Furniture not clean. Rooms smell of mold

There is no breakfast. For the price they charged, I am not sure why
- 2/5
Definitely nothing close to what was advertised online. Run down facility on its last leg.

Cupertino Hotel is one of my go-to hotels whenever I come to the area. I had seen better days. Yes it is getting old and the breakfast isn’t as elaborate as it used to be. But let’s be fair…you can’t expect the same luxury at the same price when the cost of doing business has rapidly increased so much. And hotel guests contribute to a lot of wear and tear of the property. I appreciate the business owner’s efforts to keep the rates affordable while still trying to offer some nice things such as thick and fluffy towels, Happy Hour treats, fruity water and fresh fruits in the lobby. Even the simple breakfast is thoughtfully planned to include protein (hard boiled eggs), carbs (pastry and cereal), dairy (yogurt), as well as fruits. To me, the hotel is doing its best to provide guests with a comfortable experience. I enjoyed my stay, and had already booked a return stay in a couple weeks.

Fantastic services and hotel. We'll be back again! Thanks

The property feels dated. Room clock is compatible with an iPod. Does anyone still have one? Indoor courtyard area was untended. Complimentary Continental Breakfast had hardly any choices. We went out to eat. We’ve stayed here many times but it is in need of updating.

“My stay at this hotel was overall fine, but I noticed some issues with the bathroom. The sink didn’t drain properly, and the shower head was leaking. I hope these can be fixed for future guests.

We usually have a good stay at this hotel. Our November 9th 2024 stay was not comfortable. My wife and I relaxed in the spa but there was so much chlorine, it burned us. Their breakfast has been good in the past but this time not so good.

Very nice surprise with the free room upgrade.
- 2/5
The hotel is run down and at the verge of bankruptcy it seems. The room was dirty. Lots of Hair in the shower and no warm or hot water. Faucet leaked all night, and breakfast was not provided despite it being included. No apologies or attempt to make it better either
- 3/5
Nothing unique and morning breakfast was below par to previous stays.
- 5/5
Good location, decent continental breakfast, clean, nice pool.
- 3/5
The location was very convenient, front desk host very nice. Noisy from the road which was unfortunate. Breakfast was very underwhelming…definitely not what they show on their website. I also was supposed to have a free drink with my VIP offer but did not receive it. I did arrive around 8:00p so I don’t know if that’s why. Bar also didn’t have any that could make drinks available.
- 4/5
In was located off a main boulevard, but no road noise could be heard.
- 3/5
Staff was pleasant/friendly/accommodating. Hotel needs some TLC, fountain pool was drained, room carpet showed wear/tear, no hot water. Staff offered room change. Hotel happy hour is nice.

Noisey air conditioning and traffic noise

I always stay here when in town. I lived in Cupertino before leaving but still living in San Francisco as well. So I return often. Please offer deals to me anytime. I love your hotel. Everyone was so helpful and made my stay the best. Thank you.

Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast isn’t as good as it used to be but still will tide you over. Overall awesome place to stay, will probably return again.

I stayed here during my visit to the SF and Valley area. It’s a decent hotel for resting and sleeping. The best part is the location. If you’re looking for a hotel based on location, this is a great choice.

I returned at 4pm and was told I could check in and when I got to the room there was not hot water coming out of the faucet. I went to the front desk to tell them I was going to go someplace else and was told since I booked 3rd party, I would need to take it up with them to get my refund. He did say that the water should be back on in my room, so I went back to give them one last chance. The water was not on and there was now a foul odder coming from the hot water faucet. I returned to the front desk to let them know I was leaving and that I would never be staying or recommend anyone staying here again. I also pointed out that lying to me about a shortage in housekeeping staff when they were really doing maintenance on the property was very unprofessional. Just so they could get me to still book the room. I question their moral ethics, the sanitation and safety of the property. Please feel free to contact me for more details...

She came out disappointed and told me that an ant started crawling up her leg. She than told me she saw a good amount in the bathtub. A quick glance within the bathroom there were a large group of ants in the bathtub walking around a previous guest hair strands along the walls and the shower handle. While disgusted by the room’s conditions we were in a rush so we felt like we could deal with the issue later on in the night or we could switch rooms Once we came back to the room after socializing with friends. (Coming back to the hotel around 11pm) We didn’t want to take a downgrade in room in terms of size so we took the effort to kill all the ants and clean up what we could. This effort took a good 20 minutes for us to become our own amateur exterminators. We ate in the front room and then took a shower in the semi clean bathroom. Noticing the ants were still coming from either below the tub or under the ground. We were disgusted but we did not want to complain. What led to this post was when I was checking out, I showed the video of the ant colony and dirty tub to the check out host. The front desk didn’t really seem to care, just told me “I will tell house cleaning” then thanked me for my stay. Not really concerned about the Ant Farm. This was my go to hotel when I visited the Sunnyvale/Hotel Area. Unsure if this will remain my stable hotel

Best hotel ever Loved everything. Very clean. Enjoyed the pool and spa. I highly recommend this place to stay.
- 5/5
It was very comfortable and roomy. The TV's were a bit dated.
- 3/5
I wouldn't say I like the hotel because it needs a major renovation. The carpet in the room needs washing and cleaning, ac in the room is super loud, the bed squeaks, and the bathroom is outdated.

Great service
- 4/5
Good for an overnight stay. The pool was out of service during my stay
- 4/5
Fan in room was a little too noisy
- 1/5
This was such a disappointing stay. The pool was not available for use and was filthy. The elevator inspection was 2 years past expired and a temporary inspection that was a year old. The continental breakfast didn’t even include hot foods like eggs and bacon. And the carpet in my room was stained to high heaven. I won’t stay here again.
- 3/5
A gym was advertised but not actually on the property. Disappointed that the pool was out of service. Everything else was good.
- 3/5
Bathroom needed maintenance
- 3/5
Price increased significantly, but overall quality of bed, pool and breakfast declined.

Horrible visit. Won't stay there again

The Cupertino hotel could use an update. Pictures online are deceiving.

Housekeeping was terrible.

Although it is an older property, the rooms were updated and clean with plenty of room and wonderful little touches. Can’t say enough good things about our stay!

From the second we walked in it was filthy, the carpet was disgusting, waljed straight to tbe restroom from our long trip and before I opened the bathroom door I could smell was sewage and as soon as I open the door there was water leaking from the ceiling, never made it to the room, tried to canceled still got charged.

Towels were not provided though we called the housekeeping 2 to 3 times. But they had the time to call us and tell to vacate the hotel. Elevator was not stopping at 2 nd floor . When they knew elevator was not working why did they give us the room then . Their hallway carpets were stinking and full of stains. Common Bathroom was smelling bad .
