Super convenient and competitively priced. It’s just a couple of blocks from the 405. Rooms are updated and clean. I will consider staying there again.

There was a lot of traffic noise, but that is my biggest complaint. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the amenities were decent. A very nice room for the price.

The room was clean and spacious. Lots of eateries close by to walk to. Parking can get full at night. The place did its job for our one night stay.

Parking was great given it's not easy to find a parking spot around here.

So loud, hear traffic and noise from other adjacent rooms. Sleep no good.

There were 7 parking spots (including the handicapped spot) for way more than 7 rooms. If you don't get a spot on the property, good luck finding street parking. There were no blankets in the room, just a satin coverlet over the sheets. The location is on a very noisy street, so be prepared for the noise.

This was a perfectly nice room. Everything felt clean and safe. I have 2 suggestions. Providing an extra blanket would be appreciated. Guests might want to bring their own hand soap. The soap provided did not lather. The shampoo was terrific. I will stay here again.

The room felt very dated. Bare bone bathroom. Had to ask for a blanket as there was none. The heater had to be repaired. No coffee on the premises.

This hotel wasn't worth the $170.00 a night. Other occupants stayed up until 3:00 am partying outside. There wasn't much to do within walking distance.

I stayed 3 nights- the room was spotless, the entire staff was helpful and very nice, and the location was perfect. Thank you! I would not hesitate to recommend or book again. Excellent experience !

I came in around 330p just to pick up my card key, then left. Came back around 7p and when I arrived to my room 206, the door was wide open. I asked to give me another room since who knows what could have came in and for how long the door was open for. Instead of giving an apology or offering me another room, the person at the front instead put blame on me and said that it was fine. In the bathroom it was clear someone else was there because the toilet had been used. I woke up the next morning with someone banging on my door saying that I had checked out. Along with that, I had several spider, bed bug, ticks or some kind of insect bites shown below some around my body. I don’t think this place should be offered through this site, as I have been a Hotels.com customer for over a decade. I hope something can be done for my experience, but we’ll see.

Everything was great and exceptionally clean. The only downside was the parking. It got packed pretty quickly and we had to find parking out on the main street. Regardless, I’d recommend it!

The front desk clerk was nice and efficient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is nothing wrong with the hotel per se if you just need a place to sleep that’s cheap. The room smelled way too strongly of some room freshener. The hotel is on a busy street with a lot of traffic noise and there was a lot of noise when other rooms would run their water or air. Not something the hotel manager can fix, so bring ear plugs and an eye mask.

Good value in a central location. The hotel is not fancy but its in good shape, clean, safe and from what I could tell, well maintained. Management was responsive and friendly. Id stay again if Im back on that part of LA. Only regret is there is no coffee maker in the room and no dishware to use to heat water in the microwave.

It’s conveniently located. The parking lot is very tiny and it’s first come first serve. So if she didn’t get a spot, try to find street parking. The staff was nice and helpful. I have an issue with a key and opening the door. It was clean inside except for COCKROACHES!!!

I love staying at the Galaxy Inn when I visit Culver City. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds and they have a refrigerator. There are many restaurants and stores you can walk to. The parking can be tricky but the staff is always helpful with this. I would highly recommend.

Overall, it is a convenient place for transportation and have a parking space. I will chose it for my next trip. Hopefully, house keeper can pay more attention to the cleanness of the sheet and pillow cover.

The check in process was simple. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were actually comfortable. My room door was a little difficult to open and the proximity of the property to the busy street made it difficult to fall asleep because of all the street noise, but that's mainly because of location and nothing to do with the property itself. If I was ever needing to stay in this area again, I would consider coming back to this property.

Room was clean and very adequate but the walls were paper thin! Our neighbors were up and noisy at 2:30 am. At 3:30 they turned on the TV which stayed on till 6:30 am. When we were up and packing to leave I believe they decided to go to sleep. Hard to stay on task during a long day after little rest.

We have stayed at the Galaxy Inn for several trips to L.A. We like how the room is clean, there are no bugs, there are floors instead of carpets and the room has both a microwave and refrigerator. Bars of soap and small bottles of shampoo and conditioner are provided. Parking is an issue, however. There are not enough spaces in the parking lot, and street parking has meters or a limited time to park in the neighborhood in front of the houses. Also, the motel does not have hand towels, and when we asked for an extra towel, the employee said we already had 2 towels. We had to explain that we needed a hand towel. We appreciated it when he gave us an extra bath towel. Additionally, although the maids are friendly, they are somewhat loud which woke us up. The rooms do not keep out any noise. (It wasn’t just the maids.) On the day we left, we loaded the car 10 minutes before 11:00 a.m. and were about to leave the room when we got a phone call telling us we needed to check out. We did not appreciate the unfriendly tone. Overall, the stay was not good enough to return again.

We liked the location, being accessible to many amenities, including convenient food sources within walking distance. Personnel were all very nice and helpful. The floors could be cleaned more often. The bottoms of our slippers turned black the very first night we were there.

This should be your absolute last place to stay. The floors were extremely dirty within ten minutes my kids feet were black with dirt from the floor. The tv didn’t work and the microwave also did not work. The guy at the front blames me for the microwave and they tried to charge $20 for a plastic keycard. This is a very cheap motel that charges high fees and doesn’t provide the basic needs a traveling guest would require. The neighborhood also seemed sketchy lots heavy homeless population nearby

The place was dirty. the walls had scuff marks all over and there was a bit of mold on the shower. the shower also barely worked. and the bedsheets had stains on them it was a nasty place, not worth the price.

The room and bed were good and comfortable but at 2 am we awoke to someone banging on the doors and screaming. They were screaming for 30 minutes and then the police came. We thought they had left but then and hour later they were screaming again and began to break windows. It was pretty scary and I barely slept

While buildings are older they have done upgrades to modernize. Clean room. Sadly the frint desk is a tiny space with small window and jail window to pass id and card thru. Made us worry about area. We had no concerns but there is a fair bit of road traffjc.

Absolutely filthy do not stay.. i came out inching with a couple massive bug bites.. the sheets have cigarette burn holes, stains floor felt nasty. DO NOT STAY! ITS A SHAME THEY GET AWAY WITH SOME OF THE NASTY THINGS THEY DO!

There is no parking for the amount of rooms they have and that is so annoying

Said it was a 24 hour front desk. I arrived at 12:45am. No one came to check me in for nearly an hour. I stood outside waiting, no luck ringing the bell.

lots of smokers and smoking areas near doors and windows on the balcony. If smoke bothers you, not the place. People will smoke right outside your room, talk etc. Stayed here 10+ times. It never changes.

I needed to stay close to UCLA Medical Center after surgery for one night because I live too far away. The Galaxy Inn was convenient and affordable.

The guy on the front desk was rude.

i booked and paid for a room with business card, for one of our employees to check in. website asked for name of person checking in, and then payment info separately. our employee was then not allowed to check in since didnt have the card used for room res and payment.

Upon seeing i had a sevond floor room i requested a ground floor room because i am handicap. I was told he didn't have any ground floor room. I explained i am handicap and tend to fall. As i walked away from the office he came out and said he had a ground floor room. Bed was a bit too hard for my comfort.
