I have stayed at this hotel many times and will continue to choose this hotel with any new trips I arrange. Every staff member I had encountered this trip was extremely courteous. Housekeeping came on a daily basis which was nice to have. The location of this hotel is in the middle of any retail or restaurant you can think of.

Very noisy hallways woke me up in the middle of the night. Normal speaking voices were easily heard in my room.

Great location. Large king suite ( Room 520) with fridge, microwave and sleeper. Lots of light . Restaurant on main level with convention center and large indoor pool with a huge deck and bar at night. Great value.

Honestly i would have given it 5 stars if the front desk lady Natasza didn’t almost charge us for someone else’s stay.. We went for one night as a staycation. The food was good. The pool was fun and we got a top floor room that had a grate view of the lake. But at check out the manager said we stayed 2 nights when we did not. And she was very persistent, like i don’t know how long i stayed lol but at the end of it she said sorry and we moved on with our day. It was a very fun day for my 2 and 4 year old kids. I would stay here again.

Everything was great and we only stayed for one night. The only issue was housekeeping kept knocking on our door, and there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign available to put out. Our sleep was interrupted twice.

The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The rooms were very clean and breakfast buffet was top tier service. We enjoyed our stay.

Parking was convenient, check-in and check-out easy. Breakfast buffet was yummy. Just wish they had coffee available in the lobby all the time and wish the restaurant/bar opened before 5. Beds/rooms were very comfortable, and the staff was wonderful about accommodating our requests (our friends' too).

This is a joke right? I accidentally booked for the wrong day 2/11-2/12 when I needed 2/4-2/5 and arrived to the hotel to discover I booked the wrong dates accidentally and instead of the hotel working with me and moving the reservation they held strong to the nonrefundable issue and refused. So I had to pay again. I will never use this hotel and will avoid this chain and after this year will strongly consider not using hotels.com anymore as well due to several hiccups throughout the last 12 months with work trip stays. This hotel got double the fee from me for a one night stay and I got an extra bottle of water and a Nutella snack pack which was a smack in the face plus losing my one cash. So no the check in is unsatisfactory and my stay didn’t happen because I’m on a cruise from Tampa to Florida so I would not have booked this on purpose.

The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was king size...very roomy and with nice crisp but fluffy pillows. Honestly , we had very restful nights. I'm glad I chose a room with the sofa because sometimes you just need to relax, eat, or surf the internet while curled on one end. Had to work from the hotel so I appreciated the desk and wifi. The bathroom was a good size. Oh, very much appreciated the fridge too. We had food stuff that needed to be refrigerated and everything fit. We had a relaxing Christmas holiday stay there and will return next time we're in the neighborhood.

The staff was wonderful! We loved the lobby, pool and restaurant and housekeeping was perfect. Special shout-out to Lynette in the restaurant! She was fabulous - attentive, personable and saw to it that all our needs were met. Excellent stay!

The room was clean, but did show signs of wear and tear the staff friendly and kept up with cleanliness. We have stayed at this Holiday Inn twice and would gladly do it again. The food was good.

I didn’t have breakfast I think it was an extra charge we didn’t know this. The kitchen staff was rude when I called down to order regular cokes and kept trying to joke that he would add alcohol though I asked several times not to. I was with a recovering alcoholic so it was extremely rude.

Nice place to stay, the pool is warm.

The bathroom needs serious attention though. The shower faucet is pocked and rusted and can cut your hands. Suggest this gets addressed asap

The renovation of this property is outstanding making the hotel look like new construction. Room layout is thoughtful, staff is knowledgeable and kind, pool facility is marvelous, the restaurant food and service are excellent.

Very disappointed in our stay this time. The front desk staff was not very nice and be prepared if there are multiple weddings and your staying above the entrance, they have ZERO noise control! So people can party all night and no one cares!

I don’t understand the amount of bad reviews I see on other search engines, because I had a great stay! The lobby smelled good, the staff was friendly especially Natasha (SP?) at the front desk. My room and was extremely comfortable and I felt very comfortable being a solo traveler. The pool area is also very nice! I’ll be back 🙂

Room refrigerator legs broken. Several Room electrical outlets powered by hidden power strip. GFCI tripped and lost power to TV, lamps, outlets. Front desk failed to follow up on repairs and power still out upon return to room 12 hours later. Offered 2 free drinks and upon attempting to redeem at bar, found out the beer tap had been broken for 2 weeks.

This hotel isn't worth anywhere near the amount they charge. It's an old hotel very cheaply "updated" with cheap peeling wallpaper and the front of our sink base was literally falling off. The corners of the floor are cracked and delaminating. The staff was ok but the grounds aren't well kept and it's noisy. The beds are also some of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. Woke up with a headache and stuffy nose from the room. Definitely not worth it. Left me wanting my money back.

The hotel was nice clean pool, there were some issues like in the bathroom exposed wires, and the food was overpriced to the quality. Lots of places to relax around the hotel inside and out. To far to walk to shopping and food, but was a very quick car ride to lots of food options

It was close to our friends home. wallpaper in our room had bleach looking lines running through it. looks like someone sprayed something on the wall and it took the color out of the paper. wish the fins on the air conditioner moved my feet were freezing as the air blew across them.

The best part of the stay was the sales manager Fran. She went above and beyond to help in a time of need. Nice hotel. Clean, good breakfast, great location.

That's four things. I can't call it a good trip. I was given a second lcoffee maker that worked the second day.

Disappointed due to 1 elevator and 2 ice machines for 6 floors. We stayed here last year, and it was great but within a year it seems things are going downhill. They do not seem to be keeping up with minor property upkeep such as painting the walls or wiping the dirt off the elevator walls or keeping carpets clean.

Hotel also refused to use my PayPal and Venmo cards for incidentals which caused some issues.

We had what was supposed to be a very stressful family trip turn into a wonderful experience. From check in, to the multiple requests we ended up with, all staff from managers to security were top notch! We felt very taken care of.

The server Lynette was very nice and professional. We have never stayed here . Out of town guest for a Wedding. She let us know a little bit about the town. Very nice

Enjoyed my stay, however this is clearly a 1970’s hotel which could do with a makeover. It wasn’t unclean just a little tardy. Great staff made the difference.

The only con I have is that I received a house keeping knock on my door before 9 am and I did not appreciate that. Check out is at 11 am I would think house keeping would and should go after checkout. I’ve never experienced that at any stay.

The front desk was pleasant, the King suite is an excellent bargain for 440 ft.² and it sleeps 4. Nice view. The pool wasn’t used as much so it’s nice. It’s not crowded. The bartenders are great and everything I had on the menu was excellent. The meat lovers flatbread.👍

The hotel was nice. The whole 1st floor smelled like chlorine due to the rooms over looking the pool. They moved us up to the 6th floor, which turned out good. The only down side was the cleaning service knocked on the doors at 8:30am to 9am on the 6th floor. Not a relaxing morning.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. But the guest they had last night were terrible I agree it got handled correctly but I feel as if it should have got handled sooner because we had children there for a tournament and we got like NO sleep because of fights and drunk people on the halls/ outside all night. Even having some escorted off our floor and out of the hotel.

This is where we always stay when in Crystal Lake. The room was extremely clean, updated, fixtures were all working, towels were soft and fluffy and bed was more than comfortable.

The bartender was not friendly and appeared to hate her job. There was water rushing down the stairs.

We stay here every time we visit the wood stock area, we love the pool and the location, it's close to family.

Rooms were not available at time promised. Some staff were was very apologetic others forgot to give our name to other staff that had a list of people waiting for rooms. When we got room I noticed hand prints on bed board and some small pieces of paper still on carpet. We didn’t complain as we just wanted our room.

The property was okay and the location was close to where we needed to be. The room was clean. The front desk staff at check in was friendly, but when I went to check out there was an extra charge on my card on top of the hold for incidentals. When I asked the front desk attendant he gave me a run around of answers then continued to tell me that “it’s not that big of a deal, well it might be to you”. I have never been treated this way by someone in customer service and was quite insulted by this man’s comment. It turns out that after I booked the room on Expedia back in July, the hotels room price increased and the hotel charged me the difference. The man at the front desk could not tell me this and I had to contact Expedia. I was told by the very helpful man at Expedia that what the hotel did was illegal and that they would refund my money. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days to see if they follow through.

Clean, mostly well maintained facility with helpful associates. There was some peeling wallpaper and an errant mitten in our room but otherwise was a wonderful stay. Would recommend.
