Nice place very friendly

Everyone made you feel like family.
- 5/5
We have always liked Cripple Creek and this last stay at the Midnight Rose was the best yet! Historic building but with modern rooms...... can't ask for more than that.
- 2/5
First of all the elevator was not working!! Was not made aware of that until after check in. We were there for 4 days & never had our room serviced at all. No clean towels or restock of bathroom supplies or coffee supplies. Most unfriendly staff I have ever dealt with. Will never stay at this hotel again!! Only good thing about it was the cafe inside the hotel. It was very good & extremely nice staff!!
- 4/5
The staff was top rate.
- 5/5
This was our first visit to Cripple Creek. We stayed at The Midnight Rose based on previous reviews. It was as the reviews stated. Our room was clean, quiet, friendly staff, and had a small fridge and microwave. There were more than enough electrical outlets for charging electronics. We would stay there again and recommend to others.

Gre staff
- 5/5
Great hotel; great staff; very clean
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable right in the middle of historic cripple creek. Would stay there again.
- 3/5
Confusing check in and hard to find. Employees were awesome!!!!
- 4/5
Good location. Very good restaurant for breakfast. Dirty rag left in the bathroom.
- 5/5
The Midnight Rose Hotel was very nice. The people were so nice everywhere! Our room was so comfortable and clean. The restuarant is top notch. Awesome food. We enjoyed walking around and also touring the museums and learning the history of the town.
- 5/5
Great stay. Everything is open all night. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great stay. Everything is open 24/7. Friendly staff. Very cute town.
- 3/5
We were told upon arrival that Midnight Rose doesn't offer rooms with 2 beds therefore we were given a room at McGill's. The room had a view of the roof, roof level. Not the cleanest, at least the cheap laminate floor was filthy. Other than that it was fairly clean. The room did have a small fridge and microwave. The hotel/casino itself was under a lot of maintenance and all of the table games were closed. Overall we've decided we won't book here again. A plus was that the staff was friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Player cards waste of time.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay. Nicely remodeled rooms, pleasant staff, clean. Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
The front desk staff were all extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The bathroom was a bit tiny and cramped with the door configuration but this is to be expected from an older hotel. I really loved that there were heat lights outside that you could sit under and warm up at.
- 5/5
Small problem with the heat in our room the 2nd night. Jim at the front desk handled very well and compensated us for that nights stay and gave us a fan so we could go back to bed and be comfortable.
- 5/5
I noticed that, the room didn't have windows to look out. But it was a great stay. Thank you
- 3/5
Room 320 is too close to the front desk. We could hear employees talking and laughing all night. We could hear doors opening and closing all night long. We were awake every morning at 5:30 am by employees. No sleeping in for us. Disappointing.
- 4/5
Great parking garage. Friendly staff at Dynamite Dicks with decent food.
- 4/5
Bed was very worn. Had major body impressions
- 5/5
Very friendly
- 5/5
It was very quiet, clean, great location. Staff as very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
The layout was very confusing. Parking was also hard to find. The bed was a little form for my taste but room overall was nice. Plenty of casinos to pick from
- 4/5
No safe in room, restaurant just soso
- 4/5
Nice room
- 5/5
Clean and modern room. Staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
The room was clean. Microwave, fridge, everything you need. Very quiet. Bed was comfortable. Best part was the front desk staff. So friendly and informative. Will def stay again.
- 5/5
The location of the places and things we wanted to do. We're very Conveniently close.
- 5/5
Beyond expectations. Wonderful staff. Always helpful.
- 4/5
Pleasantly surprised. Only thing lacking was a blow dryer
- 5/5
Had a lot of fun. Great food in town. Will be back!
- 2/5
Tiny little room with windows facing the oarkiing garage. Cars 20 feet from our window. Overpriced for such a tiny inconveniently located room. We won’t be back to this hotel.
- 2/5
Some crazy homeless local somebow got our hotel room number and stalked me and my brother for two nights and i didnt sleep at all and privacy went out the window, i paid over 300 dollars and gambled an additional 300. Offered a "free breakfast" as an apology. Nice place and people but probably wont come back unfortunately
- 5/5
Easy place to stay. Very clean and well thought out room. Staff was great.
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 5/5
The Hotel staff was friendly, kind and prompt. The facilities were clean and it was affordable. We will stay here again.
- 5/5
We had great time with friendly staff. The best part was some of us won and the others can our even. Wonderful Trip
- 4/5
Nice remodeled room.
- 5/5
Very nice updated rooms and clean.
- 5/5
Right downtown. Easy to walk where we wanted to go
- 5/5
We stayed for 2 nights, great room, enough space. Very friendly staff. There is fresh coffee and water at the front desk. Very excited when we asked about comped rooms after playing and our room was comped. We'd earned enough points on the slots. That's a great benefit. We will return. Food was very good also.
- 2/5
Weird place. Don't know if Midnight Rose and McGills share hotel-we were booked in MR but room was McGills. Very small, windowless room(window was frosted and didn't open-might as well be windowless). TINY room. No chair. Bench we thought was for suitcase might have been seating, but needed it for suitcase. Was updated, so that's a huge plus. Ok place to sleep only, but certainly not to spend time. Bathroom updated and ok. Lots of money for what we got. Wouldn't go again unless there was nothing else. Century 2 doors had a great room with double the room for about the same price.
- 5/5
The room was small, but clean and recently remodeled. It was very efficient, included microwave and refrigerator. At the registration desk, water bottles and coffee with my favorite creamers were provided. It was a casino hotel, so it was in the best area to gamble and easy to get to other casinos.
- 5/5
We had a great experience here. Service was great, friendly hotel desk. Rooms were very clean. Bed was comfy. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Very convenient Parking Garage. Everything in the room was updated. Great for a 2-night stay.
- 5/5
The room was newly remodeled and nice except right above the door the ceiling tiles had water stains and most hotels give you two types of pillows a firm and a soft here you only get firm pillows I have a hard time sleeping on firm pillows would have liked a soft one. It was very quiet loved that!
- 5/5
Property was great with a friendly staff. The rooms are new but a bit small. You should be aware that both the building and the town are rustic with few amenities other than dining and hotels. The casinos did not seem to be overly crowded we stayed over Father’s Day weekend.
- 3/5
Hard to get around. Dinner was let me say I didn't eat. Very small room. Refrigerator made so much noise hard to sleep.
- 2/5
Was not clean, it felt run down. I expected a better nights stay for the $160 a night
- 5/5
The stay was very friendly! The room was very clean!
- 4/5
Parking garage was confusing 😁
- 5/5
Very nice, clean room, good service only gripe, bathroom area too small 😊
- 4/5
The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the rooms were clean. However, the room we had was dark, and hardly any day light came through the window that was close to the ground. If you prefer natural light like me, be sure to ask for it.
- 4/5
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Everything was fun and relaxing. Staff was really nice. We left a day earlier than we expected due to wanting to get home before bad weather hit. Staff kindly refunded our money. We would stay again
- 3/5
Old not updated run down. Serves its purpose as a place to rest between sessions. No luxurious in anyway
- 5/5
Gorgeous suite, friendly staff, plenty of gaming options
- 5/5
It’s was really perfect
- 5/5
My only issue was there was no place in hotel where we could get incidentals such as aspirin or tums etc
- 5/5
The Staff and Service awesome. Very clean and our suite was absolutely wonderful.
- 4/5
Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a fun getaway to for an Old Town Hotel Casino.
- 4/5
Rooms were big and clean. Only complaint is hard to find your way around from room to different casinos.
- 5/5
Courteous & helpful staff. Very accessible to parking. Everything is excellent except for the toilet seat, it has no cover.
- 5/5
They are decent and clean rooms with refrigerator! Teeny soap bar and a tiny pencil on pad by phone. Toilet had no lid (strange)
- 4/5
The place was like a maze without maps posted and that made it easy to get lost within the facility
- 2/5
It is located with a casino. The room available was in a smoking area. The cooling fan transferred smoke into our room, we had to raise temperature to reduce air flow. Slots in casino to tight.
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and the staff courteous and professional
- 3/5
Nothing unique. Rooms are clean and adequate. A bit dated though for the price
- 4/5
Very nice & clean. Good restaurant choices and great nostalgic place.
- 4/5
Quiet, fridge, microwave, iddle of town walking distance to museums.
- 4/5
I love the town. Quaint and simple. Our rooms were nice and accommodating. Food was good. Had a very nice time.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff! Large clean comfortable room.
- 2/5
Room didn’t have a window. Property is very rundown.
- 4/5
we enjoyed the old historic look of the hotel and casino.
- 5/5
Everyone of the employees were absolutely amazing. Service was awesome!! Very nice rooms and the location is within walking distance of shopping, the train station.
- 5/5
Although it was just for one night, we truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was great and the town quaint and beautiful!
- 4/5
It was a great experience, it was a surprise get away for my now new fiancee. Everything went great but we did have a few negative experiences. First off we booked our stay first then we rented a car and at the end of our purchase of the rental car it said we can get an additional 42% off of our room stay. After talking with several agents from Expedia, I was never granted our discount for our room.......very disappointing. Our stay was great, when we checked in we received a coupon for $10 off any meal at their three restaurants. The next morning we decided to use this coupon at Dynamite Dicks grill. Our waitress was horrible and service was very questionable. It was so bad that I did something I never have done before and that's excusing ourselves from the premises. Upon trying to order ( not have her walk away from our table before we were done ordering) she was rude, unprofessional and most of all not customer friendly. After she finally took our order, she never returned to even give us our drink order, this was twenty minutes later. At that point, after asking for half and half for our coffee she again walked away without listening to us so we got up and told her nevermind for the rest of this horrible service and experience. She turned away without saying a word. This one act of poor customer service has led us never to return to this place of business.
- 5/5
We had a great time. Staff was really friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Love the town of Cripple Creek. We were there as a place to stay for a night after visiting Pikes Peak. We ended up staying around town to eat, play slots, go to the jail museum and visit the local town donkeys. The small town shops were unique and we got the cheapest breakfast ever at The Home Cafe.
- 5/5
Everyone was supper friendly! And answered all of our questions!
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 4/5
No room service!! after a long drive (16) hrs all we could talk about was settling in our room and ordering No didn’t happen
- 2/5
In short I didn’t sleep the rest of the night since I was on fire watch.
- 3/5
the customer service was great the room was clean the only issue i had is our room was right next to the ice machine and elevator so everytime one was in use we could hear it and it would break our sleep so it wasnt a very restful night i will be back ill just make sure to request a room further from the ice machine and elevator.
- 4/5
staff was very friendly. Room was small and had a very noisy exhaust fan.
- 3/5
I liked location, noisy, a bit dirty and the pillows and beds are rock hard.
- 2/5
It was still historical. Saw the plan for the new addition and hope it doesn't mean tearing down the old.
- 5/5
It's a very comfortable place to enjoy some machines and relax with friends!
- 4/5
Every one else and the rooms were nive
- 4/5
Liked that it was new and had a table and chairs for card playing.
- 3/5
Nice and quiet but dated with ripped carpet, holes in shower/tub and a non functioning hair dryer. Very clean
- 5/5
Location. Location. Location.
- 4/5
Over all I had , Good ,Experience . The Food was good, I kind of liked it because it was not so crowed. Drinks where good. I feel that I god my moneys worth.
- 4/5
Our stay was great! We won our money back that we spent st the midnight rose and brass ass. It was worth it to go and celebrate my birthday!
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean large rooms. Close to everything.
- 4/5
