The entire staff: Rick, Bill and Joanne, and all the folks we didn't get a chance to get their names, were fabulous. A beautiful, boutique style "hotel" that is just a lovely get away. Quiet, restful, and a piece of heaven! I am already planning my next stay! The historic Teller County Hospital converted to a lovely Hospitality House! They definitely live out the name! Thanks for everything, Mary and Peter

Beautiful place, highly recommend!
- 5/5
Breakfast was cooked to order. Biscuits and gravy was good!
- 5/5
Perfect location💕perfect parking. Spotless room. Most interesting hotel I have found and just overall a great hotel
- 5/5
We loved this quaint historic place and breakfast was great!
- 5/5
We came in town for an event. Absolutely loved the Hospitality House. Decorated beautifully in traditional styles of the early 1900s. Friendly staff with everyone we talked to. We will be going back in the future.
- 4/5
The place is a great location especially when traveling with a pet with plenty of walkable areas.
- 5/5
We loved it! Probably one of the cleanest, most unique places we have stayed in a long time. The antiques were really enjoyable to look at and the history of the hospital was fascinating. The staff was outstanding in every way. Breakfast was delicious and if given the chance, we would definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
Glorious stay! Be sure to visit during a beautiful snow, its phenomenal! Michael and Rick are great hosts. Rick makes excellent biscuits and gravy and provides an amazing, and slightly creepy, tour of this old county hospital. Large comfy room and lots to look at and enjoy about the history of the area. Take your time and enjoy the spaces!
- 5/5
The staff was excellent and very friendly. The hotel is within walking distance of Main Street. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and well maintained. If you love historic hotels, I would definitely recommend this one.
- 5/5
Joann, Mike, Rick, and George were fantastic hosts. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was was excellent. Mike took the time to give us a tour of the entire facility, and Rick shared some great stories......Thank you all!!
- 5/5
Great place to stay, staff is friendly and helpful. Old Western style , I enjoyed my stay here.
- 5/5
We appreciate the effort that was invested in making the old hospital a friendly place to stay. also preserving the history of the hospital.
- 5/5
We booked this location for a quick overnight trip. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very accommodating and they even have a food truck that prepares breakfast for you! I will definitely stay here again if in that part of town.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful time and experience. Clean room, staff helpful & parking accessible.
- 5/5
Everything was great for our one night getaway. Very clean and so much history.
- 5/5
Beautiful House!! The house and rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was very helpful and kind. We will definitely be going to stay again!
- 3/5
We appreciated the early checkin, however the thin walls and uninsulated doors made it noisy and difficult to sleep in the small room. The bathroom light switch is connected to a noisy fan which was annoying to hear in the middle of the nite. We even heard our neighbors in the bathroom next to ours. Room heat wasn’t adjustable and too warm and light from hallway came thru stained glass window above entry door.
- 5/5
A very unique place with very caring owner. We loved being able to wander and see all the creative touches in each unoccupied room. Great breakfast & nice gift shop.
- 5/5
Yes, room was good! Staff were very friendly& courteous
- 5/5
This is such a cool property. As an old hospital, the owners have restored it to early 1900’s charm with modern comfort. Each room is unique and beautifully restored, while retaining antiques that add such a nice touch. My only wish was for extra pillows, but the experience is so much better than a generic hotel.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent and helpful. It is a unique experience with the history of the building. Breakfast great.
- 5/5
The hotel was quiet, well-maintained, and oozing with historic charm! This is so far our favorite hotel we've ever stayed in.So original and just lovely!
- 5/5
Clean rooms nice staff and good breakfast. I would and will stay here again
- 5/5
Excellent check in with a history of the building. Quiet location and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Staff, rooms, atmosphere. We have stayed here multiple times. Excellent!
- 5/5
The service from the workers was AMAZING! The place itself is the most comfortable, cozy place my family has ever stayed at. They cook fresh breakfast everyday and it’s delicious! You feel so cared for, and right at home. And to top it all off the views are breathtaking. I can’t wait to come back!
- 2/5
owner mike was rude to my grandson when he picked up something and then texted me we had additional people in the room when we had the original amount of people per our reservation.
- 5/5
Very friendly service. Nice clean and quiet room
- 5/5
This hotel is so unique with its victorian era decorations. Everything is so clean and well kept. The staff and owners are very friendly and hospitable! We will definitely go back!
- 5/5
Stay was excellent
- 5/5
What a true hidden gem! This is a must try if you’re in the area and want a clean, cozy, inviting, quiet, unique stay! From check in to check out everything was wonderful. So much history everywhere in the hotel, friendly staff, super comfortable bed, clean, welcoming! Must try!
- 5/5
Such a neat location with fair and simple amenities. Quiet hours make it a nice escape from the noise of the casinos. Will visit again!
- 4/5
This is a fun place to stay. The furnishings are great, with many antique items. The bathroom is a minor challenge for accessibility needs. However, everything is workable and can accommidate your needs with some minor effort. The overall experience is great, and it is like going back in time with a high quality experience. I highly recommend the experience.
- 5/5
We absolutely loved our stay here in Cripple Creek! It was such a cute place! The room was large and very clean, bed was very comfortable. We saw mule deer right on the property! The breakfast was so good! The girl that cooked it was so nice and informative about the area. We went to feed the donkeys outside of town after she told us about them. Then we went to find the giant troll. We highly recommend staying here!
- 4/5
The uniqueness of the hotel having been renovated from a hospital built in 1901 was pretty cool, keeping the architecture within the early 20th century design motif.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Super comfortable. Probably the best place to stay in cripple Creek if you don’t wanna stay at a casino. The room is really nice and the beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is so beautiful, the view is amazing, the room clean and so comfortable. We are looking forward to staying there again.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
It was a good basic breakfast
- 5/5
The lodge is set upon a hill with plenty of land around it for viewing. The location is just minutes away to the downtown area with a shuttle available for a price. The room was clean and decorated in an early 1900's motif. Plenty of porches to enjoy. Had a grill area in a shady spot with clean picnic tables.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful. Thank you!
- 4/5
Good value for the money
- 5/5
Joanne, the innkeeper, was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made fresh every day We had a really great experience and would definitely return again!!
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff, pet friendly & awesome breakfast!
- 5/5
- 5/5
Such a beautiful historical building. Very quiet and comfortable. Nice amenities. Breakfast was really good. Massages were amazing.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel holding onto it's character through careful restoration and still providing all our modern day comforts. Hotel is located of the outskirts of the town so was very quiet. Received a warm welcome on our arrival and found to be helpful with lots of information about the area. Area has lots of history of gold mining ⛏️.
- 5/5
Great Victorian room! Bed was comfortable and it was quiet! Coffee was outstanding, breakfast is average but adequate. Will return!!
- 5/5
We decided to stay here one night for our anniversary. We stayed in the outpatient room which is a very large suite type room with an outside entrance with a small porch and sitting area as well as an interior door entrance. It had a private bathroom with a soaking tub/shower combo and another small room with a closet. The room had 2 very comfortable queen beds and it was very clean and had beautiful antique furniture. They really thought of everything for comfort. There was a nice box fan, a space heater and an extra blanket for comfort. When we opened the windows there was a beautiful cross breeze which is so pleasant at nearly 10,000 feet. They provide tea and hot chocolate and bags of ice for free. They have picnic tables and bbq grills for use outside which is convenient. And in the morning they even have a food trailer on site where you can order a yummy breakfast entree from your room and pick it up. We got the smothered breakfast burritos. Very tasty. When we came back to our room after enjoying Cripple Creek we found a little plate of chocolate chip cookies and a happy anniversary card for us. Very thoughtful. We slept absolutely amazingly. Can’t wait to come back again. Just lovely.
- 5/5
I love the vintage vibe. Nicely decorated and well kept.
- 5/5
Unique and beautiful, it is like traveling in the past.
- 5/5
I found this place very charming. We’ve stayed at some old Victorians & bed-and-breakfast that seemed possibly haunted and creepy, but this one is well done and feels very clean. We will absolutely stay here again when we go back to cripple Creek.
- 5/5
Unique experience.
- 5/5
The period hospital antiques and the names on the door. AND CLEANLINESS!!!!
- 5/5
Beautiful 1901 building. Comfortable, quiet and Liz's food cart is a fabulous way to start your day.

Great place to stay. Building is beautiful and they have done a great job with incorporating the hospital history.
- 5/5
The historic building was quite interesting and all staff were pleasant and helpful. There were nice quiet areas to relax in and the whole vibe was peaceful.
- 5/5
Great stay with clean and unique accommodations and friendly service.
- 5/5
The quality of the hotel is top-notch. Everything is very clean and the breakfast is excellent. Beds super comfortable. The real standout, though, is the staff. Joanne was super welcoming, offering advice for food, attractions, and taking an interest in us as people. I would go back in an instant!!

The House is lovely. The service is outstanding -- prompt, friendly, informative, and whatever else you need. They've also worked to preserve a lot of the historical details, while still providing modern amenities. The only downside is that there isn't a lot to do nor are there a ton of restaurant options within the town of Cripple Creek (unless you're into small casinos).
- 5/5
Everyone was super nice and very hospitable. We love the location and everything about this place.
- 5/5
It was very welcoming, cozy and quiet.
- 5/5
Lovely grounds and views in a historic hotel
- 5/5
Fabulous place to stay, away from downtown just enough to enjoy the quiet. Beds were super comfortable. Upon check in they were kind enough to recommend places to eat in town, as I wasn't visiting the casinos, as well as some touristy things to do. They provided maps, Great atmosphere, breakfast was amazing!
- 5/5
Stay in this historical location and property was just terrific. We did try the food truck the night before we were leaving and found it not up to par. We had a small dinner of a hotdog and some onion rings and it was not hot when I picked it up. We had to reheat it in the microwave at the hotel. We decided not to stay for breakfast as we thought it would be the same result. So, while I am delighted with the accommodations. I am not so delighted with the“free breakfast“.
- 5/5
Incredible staff. Loved staying in historic building with laid-back style. Breakfast (included) served from food truck in front most days; in common area Monday/Tuesday. Enjoyed relaxing on the veranda. Such a different refreshing experience from the ordinary hotel.
- 5/5
Unique and lovely property and setting, nice welcoming staff
- 5/5
Joanne was a great host and helped make the stay comfortable.
- 5/5
It’s beautiful. We are enjoying our stay
- 5/5
Love the breakfast. There is a fridge and microwave.
- 5/5
What a cool experience!
- 5/5
Old building from 1900. Very nice place
- 5/5
We recently stayed here during a quiet week, and absolutely loved the experience. It’s an interesting and historic building, and the owners have taken incredible care to fashion a beautiful and comfortable hotel while preserving its history. The owner is a terrific storyteller who was generous with his time, sharing numerous interesting tidbits about the area and the hotel’s days as the county hospital. The rooms have been upgraded to luxury standards, with high-end fixtures and quality craftsmanship. All-in, our stay here was the highlight of our trip. Will be back!

Creaking floors (up stairs)

etc) nearby. I'm not a gambler but my friends are; that being stated, we all enjoyed ourselves.
- 5/5
Its perfax
- 5/5
Very friendly considerate staff
- 5/5
The hosts of the property were very gracious. Historical and beautiful building. Breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
The remodel was beautiful with spacious specially named rooms. The breakfast was delicious too!
- 5/5
The area and hospital itself are beautiful and well maintained. You can feel the history as the staff placed relics of the past along the walls and left much of the building intact. I would recommend this a thousand times over for anyone who enjoys historical America or just a very comfortable stay.
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The 1900 motif is delightful and the food truck breakfast was awesome.
- 5/5
This hotel has so much history to it . The owners did a wonderful job of taking a distressed old hospital and turning into a unique hotel while leaving the hospital theme. Loved it!
- 5/5
If you love vintage, antique, and maybe a little ghosty, you’ll love this place!! It feels like you’ve stepped back into the 1800’s to spend a night. This definitely beats the h*ll out of staying at a chain hotel!
- 3/5
I honestly don't think 5 stars is enough for CCHH. The staff was excellent, from local restaurant recommendations and sights to see, and displaying outstanding hospitality all around. The entire place has been decorated with period antiques, there's comfortable areas to sit and relax, all while enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains. As I type this I'm enjoying watching mule deer wander by and some magpies flitting in the trees. This is truly a wonderful escape.
- 5/5
This hotel is super nice - the decor is very unique as it was a former hospital. Lots of antiques and cool items to look at. Each room is unique. The place is exceptionally clean and everything is in top shape. Highly recommend if you are staying in Cripple Creek.
- 5/5
We like everything 🤗
- 5/5
Very easy check in, staff friendly and informative. Rooms clean and spacious.
- 5/5
We had the best stay! The hotel is absolutely lovely. The history, the decor, the staff, the rooms, the beds and the breakfasts were the best! The city shuttle picks up right out front. We are looking forward to staying again next year. Thank you so much for hosting us.
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly and welcoming. It was a real pleasure to spend the weekend!
- 5/5
Our weekend stay was amazing! From the personal greetings when we arrived, to the staff attentiveness throughout our stay, we felt like we were special guests. The atmosphere of the Hospitality House focuses on old time comfort and antique decor, making you want to roam the hallways to enjoy all the furnishings. There are sitting areas around the building to chat with other hotel guests that were doing the same! The owners are very knowledgeable of the area and gave great recommendations for activities in the area. Breakfast is included, from a highly rated food truck that is on the Travel Park property. Everything about our weekend was fantastic! A definite go-to location if you are visiting Cripple Creek!
- 5/5
It was five star plus. The just were personal and engaging. The ambiance was relaxing. The decor was true to the historic hospital with the furnished with the furniture of that era. We're coming back.

- 5/5
Cozy place to stay for the night.
- 5/5
Suprised at the antiques and beautiful building---- the breakfast was outstanding------
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay in Cripple Creek. Peaceful and quiet. On the edge of town out of the business of the casino area. Had shuttle service to and from the casinos.
- 5/5
My wife and I wanted somewhere to stay other than your regular Holiday Inn. And we found it! Super clean, Friendly Staff, Comfy beds! Loaded with character and charm. We'll be back!!!
- 5/5
There was no ramp in the hotel and I had to pay $50 more for a room on the main floor. I told them I was using a knee scooter. Otherwise the room & hotel were good.
- 5/5
Fun to stay in converted hospital since I'm retired medical person. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. It was nice that a hot breakfast & coffee were included (well $7 voucher, which covered most meals).
- 5/5
This place is amazing!!! The way it's decorated is really incredible. The ceilings on the 2nd floor are 12'. The entire experience is wonderful. Great staff.
- 5/5
Great location. So clean, friendly, convenient, historical, and interesting that I love to dtay here. Staff are the best, breakfast included thru the front yard food truck. Every room is unique and common areas full of Cripple creek history!
- 5/5
Fascinating property. Lovely, quiet, clean, comfortable accommodations and amenities. will stay again on future visits to the area.
- 5/5
All the antiques
- 5/5
It was a great Hotel being built in 1901 with furniture of the same era. Was in excellent shape would love to return some day
- 4/5
We loved staying at the Cripple Creek Hospitality House & Travel Park. It's a wonderful hotel, which - with some minor improvements could become a true Colorado treasure. Breakfast at the little red truck was the weakest part as well as the inability to make tea or coffee on location during the afternoons and evenings. Other than that it is a very special place with a fantastic, polite, and helpful professional service team and gorgeous views.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay here so much! The furnishings are antique and gorgeous, the room and bathroom was spotless, and it was very quiet and comfortable. Thanks!
- 4/5
Nice, quaint hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Our stay was great! Quiet area, friendly service, unique hotel with a neat story and breakfast was tasty! We only did an overnight stay but would definitely return for a longer stay.
- 5/5
This is such an interesting property with a rich history in Cripple Creek. It's filled with fantastic antiques and we enjoyed the Victorian decor. It was originally a hospital and they've kept the tradition alive. Great veranda as well. If you're into non-traditional hotel options, this is a great one.
- 5/5
Cool old building friendly people
- 5/5
This property is absolutely adorable. Staff is friendly! Loved our stay there.
- 5/5
The coolest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Old hospital that has been converted. We stayed in the operating room! Not a gimmick. A great hotel. Nicely done folks!
- 5/5
This was a really fun experience for my wife and I. The views are amazing and the staff was greatest. Joanne is the sweetest lady in the world and really made my wife and I feel welcomed.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful place and that was the outside inside was amazing. Beautiful rooms .Had a wonderful time. The veranda was our favorite.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
This is a great stop I travel every week and this is a must stay
- 5/5
Jack was professional and kind. This place is a historical treasure and a breath of fresh air in Cripple Creek!
- 5/5
I was so glad we decided to stay at the Hospitality House. It was unique & relaxing. Just what we wanted for our 60th anniversary. Thank you.
- 5/5
This hotel was amazing. It used to be a hospital long ago and there are little things scattered about that are reminiscent of that. Each room is named after a room in the hospital. Very cool and historic. Every staff member we came in contact with was so nice, helpful and professional. We had car trouble and had to stay an extra day and they were so accommodating and helped us book another room. The area is beautiful and the food truck...you must go!! Delicious!! We would go back in a heartbeat.
- 4/5
Great location and amenities. Need to have coffee available before 7:30AM!
- 5/5
Very relaxing and quiet
- 5/5
This was my 3rd time to Cripple Creek/Victor but our first time in this hotel! The communication, staff friendliness, amenities, cleanliness, comfortable rooms/beds, beautiful views, history… all top tier! Will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Great historic place, steeped in history yet very comfortable and inviting. Grounds were beautiful as well. Staff was great. Will stay here again.
- 5/5
Love this place! Have stayed here multiple times over the years and it only gets better!
- 4/5
Charming place! Historic hospital redone into an inn. Rooms were named for various hospital themed rooms. We stayed in "Imaging" which was a charming room with an antique dresser and the wallpaper appeared hand-painted. Highly polished wood floor with an area rug. A lot of details here. The sheets were so nice, the bed comfortable. Staff we encountered was courteous and helpful. Breakfast is a credit at Docs food trailer parked out front. We had the BEST breakfast burritos ever. We were able to sit outside at tables they had set up as it was a beautiful morning. Would definitely recommend staying here.
- 5/5
The Cripple Creek Hospitality House was a delightful stay along our journey. Joanne was gracious and helpful as she welcomed us to Cripple Creek. The building was full of history and was very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious burrito as part of our breakfast to start our day. I highly recommend staying at Cripple Creek Hospitality House.
- 5/5
The building was incredible and very unique. The gentleman who checked us in was awesome and knew alot about the history, which made it all the better. Will definitely be staying here again and recommending to othera.

Quiet, clean room in a beautiful historic building. Great breakfast, kind staff
- 5/5
We had a great time at the hospitality house. Outstanding staff. Clean room all amenities I needed were provided. Really nice Victorian setting with a lot of history.
- 5/5
Incredible creepy and like ghost experience but in the good way.!! Hahaha
- 5/5
Our arrival was completely out of the ordinary and we were accommodated at every turn. Joanne arranged for our very late arrival and it went perfectly! The room was small but very comfortable and the inclusion of extra USB plugs was such a great perk! We woke to find Joanne at the front desk prepared to serve us breakfast. She opened several rooms for us to view and gave us some history about the building and area. She suggested we take a drive down Shelf Road and it was one of the most beautiful drives we’ve taken (and we take a lot of road trips) we saw a fox! All in all it was a great overnight stay and we would highly recommend the Cripple Creek Hospitality House! It reminded me personally of the old James Stewart and Henry Fonda movie, The Cheyenne Social Club!
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay when going to cripple creek. Quiet away from the casinos but not too far for the shuttle.
- 5/5
You can hear people talking in next room but was expecting that because the place was built in the early 1900 I do believe. I do have one disappointment. Pillows didn't smell clean they needed a wash.
- 4/5
Unique property with lots of history.
- 5/5
The decor of the building was amazing so many great photos and artifacts! The staff was very attentive! Can’t wait for our next visit!
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay.
- 5/5
An amazing getaway stay! M'lady and I visited the ice castles in town and this was the perfect spot to lay our head for the night, and the rooms were excellent. Great establishment with friendly staff.
- 5/5
Amazing! Historical property with charm that cannot be fabricated. This will be our go-to stop when we travel in the area!
- 5/5
Keeping the HOSPITALITY in a beautiful inn that used to be a HOSPITAL.Excellent communication before hand with Mike the owner. Nice antiques throughout. Plenty of personal touches. Convenient to Cripple Creek downtown, ice castles etc.
- 3/5
Beautiful historic hotel. The room was very nicely decorated. The bed was absolutely horrible. Did not sleep all night.
- 5/5
Very unique. Beautiful historic building. Wonderful staff. Good food out front.
- 5/5
Owners were totally engaged and friendly. Property is beautiful and you can tell the owners love it too. Well maintained and kept up.
- 5/5
The property itself is awe inspiring and walking in the door we were transported back in time just as we’d hoped. The building is in exquisite shape, the rooms decorated beautifully and the nostalgia on display is wonderful. We love this property and hope to return. Five stars!
- 5/5
Everything was amazing! The building, rooms and grounds were beautiful. The staff was very hospitable and welcoming.
- 4/5
Beautiful historic hotel. Bed was comfortable and bedroom and bathroom were clean, my only suggestion is to upgrade the windows. It was so drafty I used my jacket to cover the window. Staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was nice and coffee was fresh.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Beautiful historic hotel with much of the original charm preserved. Staff is knowledgeable about both the local area and the history of the hotel itself, and happy to accommodate those interested in exploring the hotel's history further by opening vacant rooms or pointing out neat artifacts on display. Worth the price and the time it takes to drive out there.
- 5/5
Uniquely themed property. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
There was amole parking, the place might look old/outdated but it is historic and thats the aesthetic and it is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Staff and services were excellent. Would highly recommend and thank you for our wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Interesting hotel with lots of character and history. A step back in time. Friendly staff. Rooms and hotel decorated with early 1900 era furniture. Yet still comfortable, heated and mindful of current comforts needed by guests. A perfect compliment to a Cripple Creek visit.

What an amazing property. I absolutely love the style, the up keep of the "period" ambiance of the entire facility. I love how quiet the property is. The history of the place is amazing as well. Also, lets not forget how wonderful the staff is. They are very welcoming, and also very helpful with wonderful suggestions of things to do in the area. We will definitely come back in the summer to stay again.

WOW! It’s like staying in a museum! It is in an old County Hospital that was built in 1901. But don’t let that lead you to believe it is old and run down. The owners have made this an incredibly comfortable, clean and beautiful place to stay. And so quiet! The staff goes above and beyond like I’ve seen nowhere else. They want you to enjoy the town that they are so proud of. Instead of staying at a room at a casino, try this place! This will be our place to stay whenever we go to Cripple Creek!

The place is full of history. It used to be the county hospital in the early 1900's. It is very well decorated and fits the age of the building perfectly.

Love the decor. The staff was wonderful. A lovely woman made decaf coffee especially for my husband. The food truck breakfast is delicious too!

We enjoyed this hotel very much. It was decorated in the Victorian style. We spent time on the porch relaxing and the room was excellent. This hotel was once a hospital, we were hoping for some ghosts, but we didn't see any.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Loved the hospital antiques and pictures of what it looked like when it was a hospital. The only draw back, restaurant is listed as an amenity. There is a food truck but that is not a restaurant. After traveling all day I had planned on going to the restaurant and relax, not eat from a food truck and hang out in my room. If the amenities list were to be updated so one knows ahead of time there is not a restaurant, I would highly recommend this place.

This place is wonderful. Old hospital built in 1901. Each room is individually decorated and named. The amount of antiques and history in this building is simply amazing. 1 night stay had now turned into staying for 3 nights.
