    This place is rundown dirty. The lobby smells the minute you walk in. We had to leave the same night, we couldn't stay because there were bugs. It was a terrible experience and we had to get a room somewhere else in the middle of night.

    Our room our was dirty. There was a used. Band-Aid stuck to the picture in the room. The tub was filthy. The soap dispenser was falling off the wall in the shower. Our shower control was stripped and dripped continuously.The hallways in the hotel were like a sauna, but the air-conditioning in the room did work well. Breakfast choices were limited as the pancake machine was broken and by 8 o’clock there was not one yogurt left in the refrigerator. The pool was also broken. Facility is not well maintained at all.

    Pros - Clean sheets and no bed bugs or roaches to deal with. For the most part the room was decent but a bit small for my 6’4 husband. Continental Breakfast wasn’t too bad and was made available pretty early as expected.

    We stayed here for the sole purpose of the pool. The pool had been emptied and under maintenance. Then, we had someone knocking on our door, a grown man's voice, saying, "room service" from 11:30pm to 1:30am. The staff apologized, but said when they came up to the floor, they didn't see anyone and it was probably some "ding dong ditchers". I did not realize grown men still played that game. There was no offer to review camera footage or anything. Not to mention, myself, who is a single mom with two toddlers, we're walking in the building, and some guy was guzzling down a drink, by the doors, projectile vomited, and it splashed on us. He walked right in the door, no apology, nothing. Our stay was terrible.

Thermostat on wall didn't work. Tub filled with water as we showered ,took some time to drain . Next morning halls filled with cleaning staff ,knocking on doors. Check out was at 11am,for those of us that were still occupying the rooms,this was not pleasant.

    The rooms were not clean at all. We came as a group for a volleyball tournament and were extremely disappointed. Being told there was no housecleaning staff, there were no towels or linen was disgusting. Some teammates left for other hotels as we were told they overbooked and nothing could be done about the rooms. The lady that was there in the morning was very helpful and accommodating but overall it was not a good experience.

    They had rotten bananas and a bowl and the apples were so old and wrinkly. The coffee machine was broken. Maria the receptionist who checked us in the was amazing after our event and we came back in our room we didn’t have a remote control to the TV and the telephone didn’t work and even though her shift was over, she was trying her best to make things right for us.

    The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The lobby always smelled good. The motel seems a little bit older, so there was wear and tear in some places. For instance, the tub and bathroom. It took quite awhile to get the hot water in our shower. There were places where water had gotten under the paint and it appeared those bubbles were sliced to drain. The pool was under remodel. The “snack station” was always low on snacks. The cable did go out while we were there. My biggest fear with staying at a motel or hotel is bed bugs and other pests. There were none in our room. It was perfect for what we needed.

    Tuve 3 reservaciones diferentes en mi estancia. Fue tedioso estar haciendo checkout y checkin cada día. Ya para la última la srita de Recepcion me dice no se preocupe, le hice su check out y el check in de una vez. Me sorprendió ver personal nuevo súper amable, y el mismo personal antiguo antipático. No se cómo siendo un hotel de la cadena de Holiday Inn sirvan un desayuno tan mediocre que no hace honor a la cadena. He estado en varios países y Estados y el desayuno no lo repiten diario, lo van alternando con nuevas opciones. La última vez estuve en octubre y pusieron lo mismo TODOS los días. Esta vez igual. Nunca habían roles de canela (empiezo a creer que ni siquiera ponen o solo una bandeja por cumplir y ya). Vi que renovaron las máquinas de café antiguas (funcionales) por dos nuevas. Solo dos dias pude tomar café normal, se acabó el normal no pusieron nuevos granos. De ahí solo una máquina servía. Y los últimos dos dias de mi reservación ya ni café ni nada, las dos maquinas apagadas. Al preguntar que solo decaf tenían, me acerqué a preparar uno, y no se podía, era solo agua caliente. Nos quedamos sin jabón para cuerpo y mano y todo un protocolo que me llevarán uno nuevo. La verdad le di una 2a oportunidad porque es un hotel limpio y bien ubicado. Pero el desayuno es importante para mi también. No se si le daré una 3a en algún futuro.

    The initial room we was given was cleaned from the last guests. On two occasions i called the front desk to get extra towels and did not receive so I had to down ti fromt desk to personally get it. They did not clean or switch out the towels in our room in between my two night stay.

    My poor rating stems from the lack of cleanliness and how poorly the room was stocked. The floor was not vacuumed...lots of particles of something foreign along with pennies and beer bottle caps pushed up against the base of the bed. There were zero cups in the room...not in the bathroom or with the coffee maker. The coffee center had clearly not been restocked. There was no ice bucket. There was no bath mat or hand towels and only two towels and two wash cloths. The bed looked as it had been changed but I question whether it had been due to the lack of care in other parts of the room. Had the room been cleaned, our stay would have been absolutely fine. I called the front desk to report our findings and while the clerk said he took notes on what was wrong with the room, he did not offer to move us into a clean room. I will give the clerk grace because when we checked in, he apologized for fumbling a bit with the computer and mentioned that he was very new to the company. The hotel and parking lot were bustling so perhaps there was nowhere to move us. I would have expected to hear from someone the following day but never did and am disappointed that there was no follow up. I would give this hotel a chance because I am typically not disppointed with IHG properties. Possibly a fluke. I would definitely check the room out before hauling in my luggage.

    The staff was great. There seemed to be something wrong with the ventilation in the pool area. Everything was soaked and water was dripping from several areas of the ceiling and ducts. The kids also mentioned a lot of things on the bottom of the pool. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

    Room was clean, bathroom was clean, linen was very clean. All surfaces wiped down. Front desk staff was welcoming and had excellent customer service. Check in was a breeze and the location was perfect for food and shopping! I plan on staying there again on my next visit to Illinois and will recommend this Holiday Inn to others!!!

    Every thing was fine EXCEPT the bedding in our room was terrible! I requested to have the linen removed 2x and no one came until it was check out. The sheets had gum! On one bed and the other bed didn’t smell fresh at all!!! Then I saw a roach in the bathroom crawling around!

    Very clean, comfortable room, decent breakfast and nice size clean pool. I will say though, the elderly lady who handles the breakfast area was rude and had smart remarks when customers had questions or concerns about breakfast. They were out of eggs and i asked if they are going to bring more cause they were out at the time of me going down to eat. Breakfast is from 730-9am. I was down stairs to eat at about 730am. When i asked if there will be more eggs she said “ I’m only one person you need to give me time” as if i asked her multiple times. I simply asked once. After i sat to eat i over heard 2 other family’s complaining about the same lady and her attitude when she was asked a simple question. Other then that i had a pleasant stay.

    I wanted to experience the hotel’s pool, but unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to. During check-in, I signed my initial paperwork for my initials and signature. The front desk lady then handed me some paper about a weekend ordinance regarding parties and room occupancy. I read it with some dismay, but I was surprised to see that other guests were also checking in without receiving the same information. I asked why I was the only one signing the paper, and the front desk person and assistant manager (who introduced herself as such) stated that they had already signed it in a previous contract. I politely asked one of the other guests if they remembered signing it, but they said no. That was the beginning of my troubles. While on the elevator, it started making loud noises and buzzing, and it stopped between floors 3 and 4. As soon as the doors opened, I got off and started recording my Will on my phone just in case the elevator plummets from the 4th floor while I’m inside. As a result of the elevator issue, we had to take the stairs for the entire stay. There was an out-of-order sign placed on both elevators throughout the weekend. I’ve checked out and 7 days later I still have not received deposit.

    The rooms were dirty, if you used the shower water didn’t drain just built up as if you were taking a bath, lights flickered on and off, elevator broke down so they brought in people to repair at 2am while I appreciate trying to get it fixed the people fixing it were slamming doors stomping down the stairwells and yelling. Walls are paper thin and you could hear everything. All and all this was a disappointing expensive stay!

    So many things were broken all the way down to the pump soap in the bathroom. I wondered how long this property has been a holiday Inn because this is not the standard I am use to. The worse thing for me was I booked a handicap room and the room had one of those very low profile toilets. The toilets in the pool area were taller but there was no door knob to close the door. Oh I am still waiting for those hash brown potatoes that I have enjoyed at all the other holiday Inns.I actually gave up trying to get things corrected. My hands will shake the next time Holiday Inn comes up as a choice.

    Girl checking us in did a great job. Elevators were broken down, which sucked because there was no air conditioning in the public areas, good thing we were only on the 2nd floor. Air conditioner in room worked but was extremely loud. There were only 2 towels in our room, when I asked at the front desk for more, I was told they were out, and we couldn't get any. This sucked, because we had someone in the shower and our only 2 towels were already used. I improvised and took two from the pool area. The hot breakfast was decent.

    Our first room was not correct. We booked a king with sofa bed and we were originally given just a king bed. We had 2 adults and 2 kids. So changed rooms to 2 double beds. Our first room in the king we only had 1 towel. Then changed to the 2 beds and there were only 2 towels. However the cleaning person was very nice and got us more. The cleaning people did come super early. 8am on our second day the maid came in to clean. We were still sleeping and forgot to put out sign. That’s a bit early but they were super nice and came back later. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Had bisquits and gravy 3 of the 4 days and eggs each day. Had sausage links 2 days. There were bagels, toast, and oatmeal and some cereal. But over all it was ok, just enough for the start of the day. Overall it was ok. We like this hotel because it’s close to family and we have stayed before. For the money it’s ok but compared to others it’s worth it.

    My stay here was great. Just what my sister and I needed. Very relaxing clean and smells good. Breakfast was great and we didn’t have to pay for parking and it was safe convenient parking. The staff is definitely top notch. Very polite and accommodating. Everyone was sooooo nice. Took away all my fears of staying in Chicago. Thank you so much.

    We also selected this hotel specifically because we wanted access to a pool. Upon arrival, we were informed the pool was closed for maintenance and would not be available for use. There was no notice on the website about that. The hotel itself was pretty average; no major amenities or extras. However, the bed was incredibly comfortable! And the staff was absolutely amazing. They were extremely apologetic about the lack of information and the pool being unavailable. They cut our incidental hold down to $75 for us, and they refunded us a night's stay for the pool inconvenience. They were incredibly understanding and supportive, which made the stay worthwhile.

    I booked this location for the pool and the pool was dry as a bone. Pool has been out of order. Terrible!!! I had things to print out which I normally do at hotels and this hotel’s printer was not functioning. Also I asked house keeping for towels. She came to bring them, knocked on the door and just came right in with her key!!!

    Front desk staff was exceptional. However, breakfast was horrible and nonexistent. No towels available for quite sometime. The tub had hair and dirt in it. The ceiling in the bathroom needs to be repaired.

    Overall, my stays here have been good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar is satisfying. My one complaint is when I've Intentionally asked to have the room serviced especially when staying 3 days, my requests were not honored. I was met with excuses, apologies and towels.

    This is our second stay at the hotel. The staff isn't just nice. They are beyond friendly. All of them. The rooms are clean, well appointed and quiet. Propertly has plenty of places to eat and shop. Overall a great exlerience.

    One of the best accessible rooms I've ever stayed! Large bathroom with grab bars all around in the shower, front, back and side, plus built in chair of course. The only complaint I have is that the south end parking lot entrance is never locked. It's suppose to be key accessible. Anyone can enter the building through this side entrance making this a serious security risk for guest.

    Easy to walk the property. Thankful for the breakfast, although there was no more of your signature "bisquits and gravy". the elevators were a bit suspect and they may need servicing. My wife noted there was no longer a hair dryer in the bathroom. Other than that, all was well

    Staff were unfriendly when we first came in. We had a bit of a mix up that made us worry though the problem was resolved the staff was very unwelcoming. We had checked our room out and found the beds had hair in them and we ended up having to change our sheets of course no big issue but the woman at the front desk had major attitude issues. Never have I ever had anyone but my sister roll her eyes at me when asking for a change of pillow cases! It was crazy. I get that things can be overwhelming and people can be a lot but we definitely weren’t trying to be Karen’s even when we were being treated like that. You get what you pay for though I guess!

    it was amazing. the room next to us seemed to have its issues going on in there but it didn’t interfere my experience. there was a festival and it was a holiday weekend. so it’s understandable that inebriation can and may will play a factor. just ignore it and enjoy your stay.

    Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The room smelled amazing. Walking in from a long flight to receive my keys was unpleasant. There was a very strong cigarette smell. Every time you walk through the lobby to leave and return there’s a strong cigarette smell. I noticed the hotel allows the smokers to post up right at the entrance.

    From the time when I started to check in for the second time and was told that there would be a $250 deposit I figured that I would be having problems because this is the very first hotel where I stayed that charge $250 incidental fee. I rented the hotel to bath me and my service animal. The water in the bathroom was contaminated with a very hard sticky residue. The guest in the next room came in and out of their room the entire time that I was there. My service animal set by the door and barked due to it. I have a medical alert animal. When I got ready to check out I was asked was I going to stay another night; when I replied no that’s when I was told that the hotel would keep my incidental fee. At first they said it was because I had a pet; then I told them that I resolved that concern when I checked in next I was told that they were going to keep my incidental fee because my animal kept barking. I never thought complaining about the individuals who went in and out their room the entire time that I was there and when I wanted to bring the matter up the hotel employee would not hear me.

    The hotel has spacious clean rooms. The hotel has an excellent complimentary breakfast with many options. Although I did not use, the hotel has a really nice pool as well as guest laundry services. It is located near many many food places within walking distance as well as a shopping center/ Walmart/ Walgreens. The pricing is good compared to comparable hotels nearby. No issues during the stay
