The room was clean and property location was convenient to all things in Crested Butte. Do not stay here for the pool. Very very small and old. Would stay here again.

Our stay was lovely!

I visited during off-season, 5/31-6/1. That made it super easy to get into the place I booked online, 101 Gateway. Mike Smith's place was perfect for me, easy to get into and a wonderfully relaxing spot on my travels. I'd do it again anytime.

The description of our unit said that there is no elevator. However, we weren't expecting the unit to be four floors up. Beware that when combined with our three-level condo, the master bedroom was six floors up! We were definitely huffing and puffing. If climbing stairs at altitude is for you, then don't rent this condo. The unit is nice, but has a lot of maintenance issues. There are multiple things that need maintenance. It's clear that the owners/managers are not maintaining the unit properly. I could have tried calling in the list of maintenance items, but I didn't care to have repairmen running around during our visit (should that actually happen!). Most maintenance items are obvious and the owners/managers should be fixing these things in between renters.

Beautiful view. Floors creaked so there was no getting up without waking others. The bathroom had mildew on the shower curtains and the toilet didn’t flush well. Needs more kitchen items to properly cook.

Front door at lift. Apartment clean and comfortable.

We had a great time exploring the town and area. We had everything we needed and loved our condo. The town and people were so friendly.
-
The kitchen was awesome. The bed was heavenly. I loved the fact that there were two bathrooms in a balcony.

In room or on property. Sheets didn’t fit the bed - didn’t reach from the top to the bottom of the mattress No mirror in bedroom (could have hung one behind the door) TV options were very limited - or remotes were difficult to figure out Very outdated decor and nothing like photo used in advertisement (wood rot in bathroom, mildew in tub area)

We were on the second floor, and the stairs just about killed us. It made for some unhappy mornings and evenings. Getting our luggage, etc. in was very unpleasant.

Great unit for a family. Convenient location and well appointed condo.

Our stay was ok, not super great. The photos we saw when we booked were not representative of the accommodation unit we received, at all. Our unit was pretty cramped and looked nothing like the photos. The bathroom sink didn’t drain well. This cause the sink basin to become filthy. A wall hanging fell off the wall and landed on my poor wife’s foot while she was chilling on the couch. It was installed with those no-holes 3M sticky things. Also, the upstairs neighbors’ day to day activities was heard very loudly by us. It got old fast! One positive was the deck which could be accessed from the living room and from the bedroom. I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountain in the cold mornings.

Great place to stay! We will be back!

1. Excellent Customer Service, folks at the Front Desk are truly amazing. I'll say world-class guest relations. 2. BedRooms & Bathrooms are super clean, well appointed and has air of freshness. The beds are comfy & nice. 3. We got rooms facing the Lifts & the lively Jose restaurant (AXTELL-419). Great views and free LIVE 🎵 therapy after sun down. Now the NEGATIVES: 1. Free parking is a joke, VERY LIMITED and hard to find...if you are willing to squeeze between two giant trucks, good luck. I saw a car literally scrape through leaving a noticeable scratch on one other vehicle. 2. Even when you find parking you literally have to trek all the way around and up several flights to find solace. Expert tip: travel light unless you have the lungs of a Sherpa. 3. Our living room couch was falling apart and dirty as hell. The screen door was dusty.

If you plan to cook, bring (or buy) cooking oil and seasonings.

Quiet building, great views, close to the free town shuttle. If you plan to cook, bring (or buy) cooking oil and seasonings.

The Woodcreek condo was conveniently located (right across from the free shuttle from town). It was clean and comfortable. Parking was free. I wouldn't stay here again, though, because the upstairs neighbors were very loud. I also couldn't figure out how to use the TV in the living room. (Not everyone is proficient with QR codes.) Also, the screen door to the balcony fell off. :( Too many other better options in Crested Butte.

Be aware you have to climb 58 stairs to get to the room and another 26 to get to the master bedroom on the top floor. There is no restroom on the entry level Overall it was comfortable. Carpet was a little dingy and the window frame in the master bedroom broke upon opening it. Overhead cabinets are really high and difficult to access items.

We enjoyed the property being furnished with utensils, pots, pans etc, so we could cook instead of going out for every meal. The porch was really big and the view was great!

The people who checked us in were wonderful. The unit we stayed in, however, was in desperate need of some TLC. The upper-level shower handle was broken off, one bedroom window had a rotted-out frame so we couldn't close it, and there was also water damage. The furniture was torn, and the place needed paint and new carpet. Essentially, it needs a bit of work done.
