everything was nice except the pool area was 55 degrees f and the hot tube was not working. that was one of the reasons we stay there vs the the hotel down the street.

Beyond satisfied, the best hotel we have ever stayed in.And we will definitely be back. Future trips and vacations we will be look for holiday inn express. As a place to stay! Highly recommend!!!

The water went out the day of our departure.

The walls were paper thin and we heard the loud people next door until midnight and then again starting at 6:15am. When we called to complain at the front desk, we were told it was a single person in that room. However, he must have had others visit his room. The walls are paper thin. The remote did not work. TV options were terrible. Started the day at the work out room and then was told by my husband not to sweat too much because there was no water. There was no water the rest of the morning until we checked out which was very disruptive due to the plans that I drove out here for. Apparently there is a well and the well had run dry. That is not something I should have to worry about after paying nearly 300$ for a room. I always love Holiday Inn and I feel bad writing an unfavorable review but to travel this far to have no water all morning was miserable.

When I got in my room last night someone had used my toilet and either not flushed it long enough or at all. There was literally poop, pee and toilet paper in the toilet. Absolutely disgusting.

The water in the shower wasn't hot or strong enough.

Pretty horrible from get-go. Receptionist at front desk was creepy and unresponsive (he was glued to his iPhone and checked out). Rooms smelled like sweat and had not been cleaned. Pool room was unkempt. Breakfast was barely edible. Embarrassed to be an IHG member after staying here.

This place would be 5 stars if someone hadn't smoked enough marijuana in the elevator and on our floor to stink up the entire floor. It was 1 day out of 4 that happened. Breakfast and room were great.

What breakfast, we went down at eight AM, all of the cinnamon rolls were gone, the bacon was broken up into very small pieces about an inch long. The eggs were disgusting to the taste. The only thing that was awesome was the coffee , orange juice, and the bagels.Just fix the Just fix the choices that they have for the breakfast, and don't run out of food. The price for the room was a little high, but they got you by the cajónes because there is nothing closer to this area.

Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was ok. The pancake maker wasnt working right, the juice tasted like it was running out of flavoring and the potatoes were undercooked. The pool was closed the whole time for "routine maintenence". It was clean and the people were plrasant.

Great little property for travelers needing a short stay. Not too much to do in the immediate area but rooms were clean and everything was fresh and updated.

Staff are excellent here. They’re very welcoming, especially the night crew. The breakfast is Ok, and they do have a big selection.

Great Place to break up long commute during week

The reason I gave a 3 ratio because they forgot to clean the room. They did offer clean towels and points. But since we reserved with Expedia that did not work. Also , there were no healthy options for breakfast.

This hotel was as expected, however, the staff from night clerk to breakfast caretaker to manager were beyond in service, friendliness, helpfulmess & care. A most pleasant experience...thank you.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated how the staff did not start putting the breakfast food away on time. They waited about 15 minutes before clearing up. A staff member even asked me if i wanted anything else before they started doing so. My room was lovely.

Adjacent to NYS Thruway so road noise was a problem in evening. Unfortunately our room had two issues; a) bathroom light & fan fixture was extremely loud needing replacing, b) ceiling light fixture was out so unable to see coffee machine and surrounding area. Other than those issues property was adequate for the money.

My experience way less than stellar. Upon check in I was told that rooms were assigned to people checking in that day early in the morning and as the rooms became ready that were waiting would be allowed into rooms based upon their room assignment from early that morning I was one of the last people to check in because all of the other people‘s rooms were ready for mine in spite of the fact that I was there earlier than them when I got my room the key and the locks were dented, showing that someone had tried to break in either multiple times or the very large crowbar, and it was never fixed Extra padlocks were put on the inside. The window treatments were broken and stuffed in the side rails to allow the sunlight to come in and the the ELECTRONICS that operated the curtains did not work. housekeeping never came to replenish towels or straighten up the room because they look and see if anyone has a do not disturb sign up at 9 AM even if it’s taken down at 9:05 you do not get housekeeping because they only check at 9 AM. This was never relayed to me and when I left the hotel at 9:15 I assumed my room would be cleaned upon my return at 2:30 to prepare for the guest and then I that I would be attending that day. This is did not occur I was offered a towel when I asked the h2o in the shower was not hot. Temp in the fridge was off and froze. My drinks. My exp of a 2 nights stay was not worth the $800 I paid and lastly although I was told that my IHG # would be added it was not. Ugh

We enjoyed a lovely stay on our travels in New Yorks Hudson River Valley. Convenient location quiet area and lovely breakfast.

We appreciated the hot breakfast in the morning, given the relatively small space it was a great selection and the food was tasty. I like that a pool was available; even though I didn't have time to use it it's nice to know. Finally, the staff I interacted with were quite friendly and welcoming, though I didn't get names. We checked in on Thursday evening at about 8 PM and checked out at about 9:30 on Friday morning; both of the front desk employees I spoke with were great. Thank you so much for an easy and comfortable stay during a difficult time.

Stains on the sheets, shower pressure was so horrible and with the drain open it became an unwanted bathtub. Stains on the towels as well. Spiders all over the windows inside and out.

The service at the front desk was disappointing. The lady at reception was rather unfriendly. When we asked for an extra duvet cover or blanket, she told us to pick it up ourselves at the front desk. At breakfast, when I asked her for help with the equipment, she just told me to go and call another lady from a different room. It felt like she simply didn’t want to leave her chair, which gave us a very unwelcoming impression

My wife and I had a lovely stay here. We needed to spend a night between the Berkshires and Catskills. This Holiday Inn was easy to find, just of 87 and off 9W. It was clean. The room was spacious. Everything worked fine and the staff were lovely. Would happily stay here again.

Since I’m disabled, I need a pool. It’s my only way I can exercise. I arrived and paid and then found out the pool was closed. I was very disappointed I had to change motels.

When we arrived, for a two-night stay, we found out the pool and hot tub were closed. The next morning there was no hot breakfast, due to the cook not showing up. The room was nice, but noise from the highway was loud. The manager did give us a credit on our final bill.

Front desk was really nice, hot breakfast was really good (lots of options), our hotel door wouldn’t lock with the deadbolt.

While the staff was very nice and kind and apologetic, the room condition was unacceptable. The bedsheets were not changed. There was hair all over the sheets. The bathroom was not cleaned with hair on the floor and in the bathtub. The front desk lady wanted to switch our room, but everything was booked that would accommodate. She did give us fresh linens to remake the bed. It wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Nice staff, clean rooms, pool was closed was told it would be open around 5pm. Pool wasn’t open still. Booked this hotel mainly for the pool so was a little upset. Blinds arent dark enough, room was viewing the parking lot and main highway so street lights shined in the room the whole time.

Hotel was fine. Paid $300 for a king bed room for one night. Definitely a lot of money for a mediocre hotel. The room was nice and clean. Check in and Cj deck out was very easy and simple. The breakfast in the morning was fine and there were decent options. Sadly the pool area wasn’t available due to renovations this visit.

Overall, it is a clean hotel. The woman who checked us in was very pleasant. The only disappointing factor was that I picked this hotel based upon it having a pool for my grandson and granddaughter to go swimming, but it wasn’t open. The woman was nice and gave my grandson a candy bar because he was so disappointed rather than that, it was decent.

The food area benches could be recovered they were all stained with food.

Hotel was okay with good breakfast. Rooms clean and staff friendly. The only thing was that the pool area was extremely dirty with old towels and cardboard at the bottom of the pool.

Price per night seems to fluctuate greatly in my opinion, making it overpriced on some days.

I had a good stay at Holiday Inn Express, Coxsackie. Room was comfortable. Nothing exceptional about this property.

We always stay here when visiting the area. Never had any complaints, the room was comfortable and clean like usual. We even used the pool this time which was warm! Alittle too much chlorine (smell) but nothing to stop you from getting in. Breakfast is great too, I like all the options. Will be back 😊

My outlets didnt work or the front lights of the room, where the entry is. Stains on the duvet, something large and yellow, tucked in near the pillows; noticed this when i went to lay down. Bath was.. very, very slippery. Either soap that wasnt washed off from before or cleaner, unsure. Barely any towels when i requested extra. Bed was comfortable, the one near the wall but the other had a very deep 'hole' in the mattress where people lay all the time. So it was hard to kind of roll out of bed. Needs work. Hot tub wasnt working ..like last year. Elevator was really gross. If you can avoid here, dont stay.

Keys didn’t work for the door of the fitness center I asked for help and the answer was I don’t have keys for that door. Dining area is not properly clean, elevator was not clean. Room is big, late check out available.

The heat did not work in the room I was given at check in, went to the front desk, and in just minutes was given another room with no issues. Very satisfied with my stay. Plan on staying here again, I’m sure multiple times in the future!

I do not understand why 1 night at a "budget" hotel costs $193. Two beds were fine; the air conditioner/heater was pretty noisy; the water for a shower was lukewarm. I guess I just don't get it.

The carpet in the room was disgusting. My feet stuck to it as I walked. The breakfast tasted like it had chemicals in it. The dining room had food smashed into the chairs and left laying on the floor throughout. There were many staff standing at the front desk and chatting amongst themselves as one sweet employee ran around trying her very best to clean up while her teammates were obviously not working.

I stayed there two weeks ago, and the room was clean and smelled Nice. This time, the room was stuffy, not very clean, and smelled of cigarette smoke.

It was an highly expected stay , but one disappointment was the Hot Tub being out of order was looking forward to the hot tub after a long week of work , if there is any condensation you guys can provide due to that amenity being out of order . That’s what I really paid for .

The hotel was outside Coxsackie, and it was a bit of a drive to find a restaurant. The hotel itself was nice, what you'd expect from Holiday Inn. It was clean and well stocked. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was pretty good, not great.

We only stayed one night, we were in town for a wedding. The hotel staff I interacted with were courteous, helpful and friendly. My criteria for a hotel is that it be clean comfortable and affordable--I'm not looking for fancy or extras. This hotel checked all my boxes, and was right off the thruway, so also exceptionally convenient. My only complaint is that, while the room had a nicely lit mirror in the bathroom and a pretty octagon shaped mirror over the desk, there was NO full length mirror. As a woman getting dressed for a wedding, that's a pretty big deal. IME, hotels either have a well lit bathroom mirror or a poorly lit full length mirror, but rarely both. Get it together, hotel industry! Women want BOTH! Otherwise, though, highly recommend.

Right off the highway so easy to get back and set back enough that it is very quiet.

It was a last minute decision and we are glad we found this hotel. It has been renovated. I would have liked to have scene hard floors instead of carpet. But everything was new bed and pillows were fantastic. Breakfast was also good.

The hotel itself was very nice, again with a few exceptions. The hot tub was broken, yet i booked the hotel the day before and no mention. The side door nearest our room was deactivated and didn't function. There were smaller issues too but I felt at the price, near $200 I probably should've stayed someplace cheap as this was no $200 hotel.

We left a small item in our room,and contacted the hotel. They said that they would mail it to us the next day. It never arrived, we were told they don’t know anything about it. Although they admitted to having it a week before. Staff was rude, we always stopped here on our trips Never Again
