Great suites. Plenty of room. Pool and bbq were an added bonus

Big room, lots of windows with shutters, big frig, microwave, very comfy bed. Noisy outside if a room facing the parking lot

Convenient location off the highway and near the ferry and SF bridge. My kid loved the pool, but the hot tub could have been a little hotter.

Overall fantastic. Great maids. I usually don’t tip but it was so stocked and clean I did!

Good location. Our second stay here was a disaster. The room had a plumbing leak in the bathroom and the stove didn’t work. So we had to go down to the public bathroom in the gym and couldn’t cook for our family. It took an entire day and they refused to move us to another room even though we saw people check in and out (our room was next to the front desk). When we asked for a refund, they canceled our reservation and left us homeless. They knew we were town for the memorial for our late son in law. They are heartless especially the front desk manager Tom. These people have no character. Be careful!

My only complaint is all of the outlets. All of them are 2 prong. Some of the plugs are really loose, so your plugs fall right out of them. Otherwiae everything is great!

This was my third time staying at Marin Suites. The room was very clean 10/10, the shower needed a little work but served the purpose. Where I gave it a lower rating was when the people next door came in at 12 midnight on a Tuesday night and were laughing real loud and playing music loud, and this went on till 4:30/5:30 in the morning. I just didn’t sleep and I did not call the front desk. But I did write an email. Would I stay again? Probably, it’s a great hotel.

This hotel is a refurbished apartment building. I didn't care for it. The bathroom was dirty and had long black hair on the floor, not mine. The room smelled strange. I brought the condition of the bathroom to the attention of the front desk clerk the next morning (as it was not convenient to do so on the evening of our arrival). I asked if they could adjust the rate for the room since it was not as expected. The clerk responded "No" since I didn't report it upon arrival and give them the chance to correct the problem. I will not stay here again.

We stay there every year. It’s our go to place in Corte Madera. Our first trip with the dog. Very comfortable accommodations with the dog.

Everything about this place was outstanding, with one exception: The check-in process. When I arrived, after a long day with my grandsons, the clerk told me I couldn't check in without my wife's approval. We were in California and my wife was in Florida. I called her and fortunately she was awake and able to be reached, so SHE (my wife of 52 years) had say it was okay for me and my grandchildren to stay in the room we had PREPAID. Somehow, because she had made the reservation (even though it was with a credit card in MY name), and we'd prepaid it, the clerk didn't trust me. Who did he think the reservation was for? What if I hadn't been able to reach my wife? How did he know she was really my wife? The whole episode was infuriating.

The service when I checked in was GREAT. Everyone was really nice and helpful throughout. The room was really good too - big, like it shows in the pictures. The gym looked okay, but I didn't use it. It was nice to have waters in the room. I will stay here again if I'm in the area.

The rooms could be updated to allow for better use of current technology.

Our go to place in Marin. Great pool and hot tub. Walk to restaurants. Great walking trail a couple hundred yards from the hotel. Reasonably priced and rooms have full kitchens.

So for most part we enjoyed our stay. We liked the suites. We family of 5 and it nice to not feel squished into room. But the furniture was clearly OLD!! and 1 bathroom for 5 people is hard. Even half bath would make it little better.

Suite was very spacious and clean and room equipment was in good working condition despite being slightly outdated. Effort was made in adding high end touches to enhance the experience like bathrobes or towels at the pool. Very easy to park and access rooms. Swimming pool and hot tub were amazing and both at perfect temperature on a chilly day. Personnel very helpful. Works love to come back. Only minus point: they don’t serve breakfast. But there’s a mall nearby to make up for that.

Cute hotel in the main area of the town. Some stores were walking distance. We had a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath. It looked better in person compared to online. The rooms are spacious. The hotel is a short distance from San Francisco without the excess cost and about 50min from Sonoma. We enjoyed our hassle free visit!

We had a lovely time. Although the building is outdated, the place has been spruced up and was clean and comfortable. The pool and 'Sanctuary' was the family favorite. Plus the location is fantastic, right next to some cool shops and coffee.

Our room was on the side very close to a busy highway with windows that did not block the sound. It didn’t help that someone had left. Two of the windows open also, which we did not discover until morning. The property was probably a decent value for the size of the rooms and the kitchennettes that were included. I think we would have enjoyed the room much more had we’ve been facing the courtyard. I did not feel very comfortable in the area. It seemed like there were some vagrants in the parking area. Elevator was very small, and seemed very old. I think this hotel could be a very helpful affordable place to stay, especially when traveling with multiple children or teens.

Although not the least expensive option in Marin, which is already a pricey area, this property provides great amenities in addition to the apartment style accommodations. We enjoyed the full kitchen, living room and lots of closet and storage space. Internet worked great, and the daily housekeeping service was top-notch. Food to purchase was convenient although relatively expensive ($6 small burrito for the microwave). Free drinking water and lots of parking. Extremely convenient to walk to either of two shopping centers, one with a Safeway market, and both with several restaurants and shops. Check out the farmer's market on Wednesdays. No big complaints. Area safe, clean, and walkable. The building, an upgraded 70's style hotel, had two enclosed courtyards, (one had a pool). Visitor access to the lobby computer/printer/scanner. Vending machines, snacks sold in lobby, dedicated reading area with calming music. A+ for this category hotel.

Quick car ride to Sausalito, SF, ferry’s, Muir Woods, etc. One side of the bed didn’t have an outlet anywhere near it for charging our phone. Everything else was fantastic!

I didn’t not stay at this property. I walked in and immediately was hit with a nasty musty smell. I asked the lady at the front desk to see the room I’d be staying in and she would not allow me to see the room unless I completed the full check in process so I walked out.

They should upgrade their mattresses. One can feel the slightest movement of the person next to you.

Property and rooms have been entirely renovated, upgraded and present the best deal in Willits. Great room, great property! Stayed an extra night. Manager is friendly and most helpful.

I found the whole hotel very clean and well maintained. I know it’s an older structure, but they take good care. Pool area really pretty, cabana area comfortable with a water purification system for our water bottles and even BBQ’s and laundry for guest use. I highly recommend!

Since I booked this through Expedia, I wasn’t able to select adding my dog. I wasn’t aware that I needed to so when we showed up, we were told they didn’t have any rooms left for a dog. Because we were late I told them we have no other choice so she let us stay but said it was a $75 pet fee. We were pretty much stuck so we stayed until the next day in which we were able to cancel and moved to a different hotel. Fortunately, we were able to get a refund on that second day. All that said the room was absolutely disgusting. There were boogers on the wall. There was some weird blood stain on the bed skirt, and there were pubes in one of the beds on the sheet. We couldn’t get out of that room fast enough.

The rooms are very dirty. Had to change different rooms. I had to buy cleaning supplies as I stayed a few weeks because my house had a flood. There’s bugs. The smoke detectors go off, I was even accused of tampering with the detector, which I did not. The outlets are outdated and would not pass inspection. If they are worried about fires they might want to update their electrical wiring. Behind the headboard they have multi attachments for a multitude of plugs. If they are worried about fires they should start with adding some plugs from this era. Theres one three prong plug in the bathroom and one by the sink. The two ac units have the wire own plug but every other plug is two prong or there’s just many walls with no switches. The first day we got here we had to switch rooms it was so dirty. I ended up purchasing a TV that was larger due to the fact the bed room TV was too small and the image was blurry and I couldn’t use sub titles. The hotel is NOT sound proofed. Furthermore the staff and guests are very nosy and like to peek inside the windows. The windows are all on the floor so anyone can see right into your room. Unless you totally close your shutters. When you do that you get zero air flow.

We love the size of the rooms and having a full kitchen! The pool and hot tub are always extra fun. We love the proximity to the outdoor mall with all the dining options and also to Mount Tam and Muir Woods.

Easily accessible to vehicle. Parking is free. Easy check in, the kitchen is helpful when traveling with a child. I have no complaints

Very big suite, very comfortable, all equipped. Decent kitchen, with everything we needed for a week’s stay. Clean and comfortable beds. We noticed only one flaw: the soundproofing wasn’t very effective. We heard almost everything from the other rooms close to ours. Especially from the one above us. We couldn’t locate the origin of a very disturbing noise during the night that seemed like an engine or a compressor. I spoke with the attendants at the reception, but they couldn’t help (or they didn’t want…). Initially we thought it was the heater of the above room, but we couldn’t confirm it.

I loved how spacious the rooms were and that there was a full kitchen. I also loved the outdoor common areas and appreciated the beautiful lit up trees. I did not like that the shower appeared dirty and overall it was a little bit dated.

We had noisy people above us all night for days. The front desk person was always polite and emphatic and did their best to put a stop to it. The sound proofing is not the best in the hotel. Also we had some issues that required repair…. frequently, but the young man was polite, knowledgeable and fixed everything promptly. All in all, it was a pleasant stay!

Great rooms, clean kitchen all in excellent workimg conditions,affordable and close to amenities and freeway. We did not use the pool due to the wet weather but perfect place to unwind and relax.

It’s hard to articulate the experience that I had at Marin suites. It’s difficult because I could never imagine a scenario playing out like the one that did. My wife was just released from the hospital and recovering from the edge of death having made that clear to the hotel staff and despite explaining that our dog was an anti-seizure is an anti-seizure dog an alert dog who’s purpose is to alert the family or anyone around whomever happens to be in in the area or in the vicinity to the potentiality of a seat of a seizure for my wife, and knowing all of this, the staff at this particular hotel, still never nevertheless determined at some point, I’m not sure what someone someone I guess from the staff had grown particularly irritated because I’ve never I’ve never quite experienced what I experienced at Marin suites and I’m not still to this to this

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, quiet and spacious the room was. There’s also a pool, a nice covered sitting area and a cute separate courtyard. It’s also on a quiet street. Next time I’m in this area, I would stay here again.

I didn’t go to the pool myself, but my adult kids went 3 times. They enjoyed racing and playing in the pool when no one else was there, then getting in the whirlpool. They said the temperature was perfect.

Stayed for one night to attend an event in the area. Family of four, stayed in a one bedroom suite which was fantastic. Huge space, plenty of room for everyone, loved having the bedroom separate from the living area. Close to lots of shops and amenities, super convenient. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again if we need to be in the area.

Truly a suite, not just a mini room calling itself a suite. Only small complaint, they should change out all their old two prong power plugs for grounded three prong plugs.

Friendly and warm front desk! The poolside room was spacious and quiet at night. Plenty of parking, lots of shops nearby. No breakfast, but everything else was great!

I paid about $20 a day extra for a mountain view, and didn't get it the first day. But they fixed that the second day and it was a gorgeous view after that, up on the third floor. The room was perfect, except the refrigerator door didn't close all the way, and twice it stayed open at night and I lost all my perishables. Those were the only flaws, otherwise everything else was perfect. The staff was super nice and helpful in straightening out the rooms

Room was very dated and had a heavy odour of cigarette smoke.

Only complaints are that the light/fan in the bathroom was very loud! It was irritating to even turn the light on! The other complaint is there was not enough room for toiletries and makeup for two in the bathroom. Other than those issues the room was great!! We enjoyed our stay!

Front desk staff was incredibly kind. The suite we booked had so much space, it was perfect. The room was clean. A tad outdated with some items, like scuffs on the dresser for example. Only big problem was the electricity would go out in the restroom when I was curling my hair, and another wall was not charging as well. The fridge needed to be cleaned a tad more in a few corners as well. Besides that, it was clean, spacious, and the kitchen area even had dish soap, dishes, utensils, which was great! Oh- there was a slight smell when we arrived but it wasn’t a bother. The general area was in a good area and we felt safe. No issues parking on a busy night. Stayed two nights and we would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed our recent 5 night stay. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious and practical as it allowed us to cook a few meals (kitchen and gas grill) in the complex. Grocery store, shopping, restaurants, sight seeing all near by. The rooms, in my opinion, should be updated soon. Regardless, we will be staying here again.

Only thing I did not like was maids kept ringing doorbell when I was sleeping to clean the room really pissed me off

The property is beautifully maintained with lush gardens, pool and hot tub are clean as well as the room we stayed in. The hotel no longer offers a breakfast but we stayed in a suite with all the amenities in a kitchen. They only allow 1 parking pass to a room which forces the other car onto the public street which isn't safe. There is a sketchy empty lot next door but out cars were not bothered. A peaceful outdoor sanctuary is located in the center of the hotel which is nice. I highly recommend this property and will return myself in a few months. The price was in the middle when compared with other hotels in Marin. The only negative was our bedroom was backed up to the freeway and we could hear the traffic at night.

Located in a nice and safe area with short drive/walk to shopping center and restaurants. Road noise is loud if windows are open. A bit older property, but rooms are clean and plenty of parking.

The property refused to refund my my full stay the room was grossly unsanitary and the pictures look nothing like the actual property. Stay away from this property. Stay away from Expedia because they dont help either!

Just okay. Good price for the area but not sure if I would stay again. Outside looks better than inside. bathroom was pretty terrible. Water filled up pretty quickly in tub when trying to shower and took a while to drain, sink cabinet wobbly, dirty soap dispenser, inconsistent water pressure and temperature. Meh

Room smelled musty. Main door flip lock screws were coming apart. Suite with two rooms, but one room door would not close properly. Bathroom shower was dirty. Black mold around the shower drain and it was extremely slow draining. Bathroom shower wall grout was growing pink bacteria.

My sixth time staying at Marin Suites. I come for the annual Book Passage Travel Writer's and Photographers Conference. I love the convenience of it being next door to the conference. I also like the kitchen, refrigerator and microwave in the room. I take advantage of the pool and jacuzzi too.

My suite smelled like it hadn't been aired out in years. Musty and old smell. It's a very old property.

This is my second time in a couple years I have stayed here, my granddaughters love it here because they have their own space and love the pool

Wasn’t very quiet. Fridge was loud and the main door didn’t fit quite right which let a lot of light in. Overall wasn’t horrible, just a little disappointing. Would stay again, but only if we can’t find better options in the area.

A couple of things we noticed. Not all of the electrical outlets had 3 prongs. Our room was in building closest to highway 101, so we could hear traffic all night.

I loved this place. We had a suite and the rooms were large with a good kitchen and living room. Very affordable for the area and great access to Frisco Sausalito area. The courtyard and pool area were excellent and relaxing. The wine tasting and live band on Thursday were a great bonus. I would reccomend to anybody to stay for a week to visit the Frisco area.

Our stay was so peaceful. The rooms are wonderful and spacious. Very comfortable and clean. Full kitchen is an absolute plus. Beautiful outdoor area. Will bring the kids next time. Perfect for a stay-cation.

Marin Suites Hotel is nice enough, but somewhat loud, and a little overpriced.

Excellent location close to places we wanted to visit, clean and large rooms with kitchen amenities. Pool area large and clean. Close to shopping areas.

Wanted to avoid staying in San Francisco. The space of the room was excellent and the location for ferry, the drive to Stinson beach, access to city were all fantastic.

We had 2 queens bed, a sofa bed, a furnished kitchen, plenty of space. Good that we could open the windows facing the garden side. Bathroom good size, very good products (Malin and Goetz) Free parking. Friendly staff at the lobby.

This is a great spot in Corte Madera at an affordable cost. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the courtyard/amenities including pool/hot tub, sitting and game areas, as well as small workout room with a sauna are great at this price.

We enjoyed out stay and loved the place. Room was very comfortable and the area was beautiful.

I did not request special accommodations due to my incapacitated knee because the hotel advertised there was an elevator. Upon checking in, we were given our room keys and a hotel map to show us where the elevator was that we could take to our 3rd floor room. The elevator was located at the back of the hotel. Once we got there, we found that the elevator was out of service. It was a 3-story stair climb to our room, which I had to do since I needed to change into my wedding guest attire and get to the wedding which started at 4 pm. That gave us 20 minutes. Once dressed, I hobbled back down the 3 flights of stairs and headed to the wedding. Once on the road, I called the office to request a room change to the 1st floor. There were no king bed suites left & we had to settle for a queen bed suite right by the office and swimming pool, but at least they had that one room left for us. They even moved our bags for us while we were at the wedding, which was very helpful. It wasn’t as quiet as it was at the back of the hotel, due to people walking by to check out in the morning & kids enjoying the pool. If you want quiet, ask for the garden side. The hotel itself? It didn’t look too impressive to us when we first drove up. But once inside the room, we found them to be very clean, quite large, and very comfy beds. We would stay there again.

We were put in a room next to a very loud freeway. I requested a different room but was told there were no others. I then checked with Expedia and it said they had 3 rooms available. We also haf an upstairs neighbor that played the t.v. so loud and management took 2 calls to respond then came in our room at 1230 a.m. to verify the noise. I requested a refund for the 2nd night that we would not be using due to noise and was denied.Best Western next door was a better choice.

Room was aged and not updated, housekeeping could do a better job cleaning, dust on all fixtures bathroom moldy. Carpets definitely need a deep cleaning or removal. Friendly staff but the owners need to invest more into the rooms.

Perfect balance of a fun hotel vibe, with a great pool

Check in was a breeze. The staff was professional, friendly and efficient. I was a bit confused about the numbering of the rooms, but was given a map of the property. The elevator is weird and very small. But we quickly got the hang of it. The room itself was adorable. I couldn’t believe how spacious it was! The room was immaculate. Even the baseboards were sparkling clean. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding provided. The beds were firm but comfortable. Plenty of closet space. The bathroom was roomy. The plugs are all two prong, so the extension cords that I always travel with were useless. Not a huge deal, just unexpected. The only thing that I think could be improved is that I couldn’t login to any streaming services on the TVs. But that was the only thing that was a drawback for me. I have now stayed there about 6 times, and I’ve had a pleasant experience every time.

The inside of the hotel was wondedful. A garden oasis with two separate areas, on for the pool and one for a garden/games and BBQ. Very family friendly with kind staff.

The fact that every room is a suite is amazing!! Basically an apartment!! Plenty of restaurants near by. The older movie theater next door is closed.which didn't help the outside appearance No fault of the hotel. Inside is good. Pool and hot tub and garden on the other side. Overall very nice!!

I enjoyed this place and the area! The pool area was especially beautiful. The bathrooms in the rooms could use a little updating. My biggest con was how thin the ceilings/floors must be. The room above us had people stomping around until midnight and started up again at 5am. Could not get a good sleep. I would come back here but only if I'm on the top floor lol.

This hotel was FABULOUS! The rooms were AMAZING! The staff was very helpful. The decor and pool/outside areas were serene and beautiful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is our go to hotel when visiting Marin. The property felt a little bit more run down this trip- perhaps that was just because the vending machine was broken. Very comfortable suite, a nice little apartment while we were away from home.

I recently stayed at your hotel with my family. Despite it being an older establishment, it is well-maintained, and we had a pleasant experience overall. We chose this hotel primarily because of the pool, which we confirmed was operational a day before our arrival. To our disappointment, the pool was closed when we arrived. I have two daughters, aged 13 and 6, who were eagerly looking forward to swimming. Although we used the hot tub, they much preferred the pool. This was a significant letdown for them. Given the miscommunication regarding the pool, I would appreciate it if you could consider offering us a discount for this inconvenience. We would be happy to stay here again in the future.

I've gotta say though, my absolute favorite thing is they have a security gaurd walking around the parking lot at night to watch the cars! Thank you for making our stay feel safe!
