I was pleasantly surprised that for the price of the room it was very clean and quiet. The best thing for me was the microwave and the refrigerator

The staff were friendly. Our room had mold on the vanity mirror, toilet wouldn't flush, bathtub drain clogged up. AC unit dripped and carped surrounding bed was drenched with AC run off. There was hardly any lighting in the room as the electrical outlets where lamps were did not work. Will not stay here again

We got there after a 22 hour drive. We asked to check in early they charged us for early check in that was whatever because we were tired. We went to take nap and a hour later they were banging on our door to replace curtain rods. We went to take a shower there was no water pressure at all. So it was horrible showers all week. We kept hearing banging on the walls all night. And every time you stepped out your door you got a contact high. The room was clean for that hotel and they did come in while we were gone and give us more towels and empty our trash. Overall we would not stay there again because it just wasn’t worth it.and bathroom was musty and moldy.

No habia I’ll start with the positive aspects: the hotel is conveniently located near the beach and the museum. However, my overall experience was very disappointing ​This was my primary concern. The window in my room did not have a working lock and could be opened from the outside, leaving me completely vulnerable. Furthermore, I noticed suspicious individuals loitering in the hallways and around the premises, which created a very unsettling and unsafe atmosphere. ​The room’s condition was unacceptable: ​There was a foul smell upon arrival, and one of the bed pillows had a strong, offensive stench. I found a cockroach inside the room. The shower drain was clogged, making it difficult to use. The overall cleaning of the suite was below standard. ​Communication with the staff was difficult, as there was often no one available at the front desk or in the office to address these urgent matters. All of this caused me to leave my reservation a day early; when I went to check out, there was no one in the office, and over the phone0, I was told to leave the room key in a black metal box located in the lobby.

My experience at residence Inn was not very good. First of all. They made me wait for a very long time for a room and stated that their cleaning person had quit and there was someone new and they were taking forever, then they put me in a room next to some body who was very noisy hanging outside talking very loudly so I asked to move. I had to wait over an hour for another room then I get to the room my towels were stained and dirty, so I had to give them back and ask them for some clean white towels. The property is not very well kept it is OK. I did book the room on Expedia and there was a deal and I guess you get what you pay for. My blanket on my bed was very musty smelling, and the room smelled the same. It is like they do not wash the blankets. The only perk of staying here was being right in proximity of the ocean being able to see the ocean and walk there just in a couple of minutes other than that this is a low budget inn and on top of that, floorboard sunken in room. No guest soap to wash off. Glad I had my own they offered nothing.

I mean honestly, it's the best budget hotel we have ever had. Walk to the beach, right next to everything, but it was quiet. Covered parking, easy to get to rooms, cold AC.

The only thing I liked about this property was the location. Everything else was horrible. Very dirty place. Very dirty. Pillow had makeup on it from whoever stay in there the night before. Towels had stains. Towels had hair in it. Floor had nasty carpet. Floor under carpet is broken and could feel it as you are walk. Not sure how the city doesn’t check up on these hotels yearly to keep their inspections up to date.

Location. My medication was stolen out of my bag out of my locked room. And I was only out of my room without my bag for 15 to 20 minutes when I went to go get something to eat. So they had to have been watching me in my room. And I think it was management.

We had roaches in our room and the smoke alarm kept going off at 1 am in the morning. We got no sleep then homeless person was banging on doors at 2 am. So this wasn't a restful night.

The price is quite reasonable. Plus, it’s conveniently located near the ocean, making it perfect for a sunrise walk along the beach.

The staff was polite but the stair rail was sticky. The room was gross the pillows and pillow covers was extremely dirty. The towels and wash cloth was dirty. The bathroom floor looks like it has grease on it. There was a shirt that was left before on the microwave. In my mom's room she showed me in her shower there was dirty wash cloth on the shower bar and a used soap in the corner in the bathtub.

The room we had you could feel holes in the floor through the carpet was kinda scary. They didnt service our room daily. We actually had to ask for trash bags and toilet paper. We ended up getting our trash and leaving it outside our door. Towels were bad

Place was falling apart.. no other way to put it. Pillow and sheets were dirty. Used soap on the counter bathroom door was falling apart and had a hole in it and it just was a horrible place.. I ended up walking across the street and booked another hotel to stay the night. My son found mold in the bathroom and the floor was collapsing in on itself by the door.. Do not recommend to anyone

The parking was great. The room was decent and well air conditioned but the shower faucet was semi working in the bathroom and no curtains were missing on the window to help keep light out.

That is run by a family. And they are very hospitable and despite my demanding nature they have been very good to us. We are going through a horrible time in our life where our families are against us being together but also his ex wife and my ex husband stole and transfered my property invan afluent neighborhood here In town. But also I have found that people or for whatever reason are treating us badly and I don't even know why. I am not rich. I made my own money by buying stock and for that they wanted to take everything from me. But to the extreme. Seems to me that Ill never get relief as long as there are multiple people against me. I have a string faith. But I refery to inform that my faith is losing.

Great experience ! Just a 5 min walk away from the beach . It’s not super fancy, but it is very affordable and it gets the job done ! If you’re looking for a cheap hotel that is close to North Beach and isn’t completely dirty and trash. This is a good option because it’s lower in price and they have decent rooms. The bedding is clean. The restroom was clean and the room also was clean. The area is kind of sketchy at night, but as long as you lock your doors and stay in your room, staff is very nice and attentive

Great location, cheap rates. Definitely run down and not very clean, but we just were there to sleep so it wasn't bad. Rooms smell of stale cigarettes and damp. I wouldn't recommend staying for more than a night, but if you need a cheap hotel in a great location just to sleep it gets the job done. Front desk lady was really nice.

For an older motel, it is directly a 1 minute walk to the beach, 5 feet from an excellent Restaurant/Coctail lounge, 1 minute walk to several other nice restaurants/coctail lounges and the US 181 Freeway is in it's front yard. Such a good value and the friendliest management. I always stay there when I travel to North Beach, Corpus Christi, Texas.

The room was filthy, the bathrooms were disgusting with visible mold, and the whole place felt dirty and unhygienic. The door didn’t even close properly because the frame was cracked, which made me feel completely unsafe. Sure, it’s by the water, but the surrounding environment was sketchy and gross. This place should not be open for business. Save your money and your sanity — book somewhere else.

It was not a very comfortable stay, because the bedsheets had different stains all over. The room only had half a roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls provided. It just didn’t feel as if the room had been attended to.

The staff were nice, but the overall condition was poor. Some man kept knocking on the room myself and my daughters were in after midnight and my husband ended up having to address the person. We ended up leaving around 2am to just go home. It’s a good deal if you just want a cheap room and are willing to put up with the random BS. Super close to the beach.

The towels were dirty and I mean like they were rinsed only. The dirt from the previous person was still on them. Thank goodness i always take my own towels. I was very disappointed i couldn't even sleep on the bed it was itchy.

STAY AWAY!!!!!! The area is good. With that being said the rooms are dated and smell they ask about pets as if your not suppose to have them but yet ended up having a few flea bites.In the bathroom, towels were dirty and stained with urine stains and didn’t supply but 2 towels for a 3 day stay also no toilet paper. Had pressure washer guy and spray water into our room. They also have something against military as they’re very presumptive and yell at you no smoking meanwhile you smell cigarette smoke all day and night so go figure.

My car in the front got a nasty bump due to the high street area with the narrow parking and not being able to see where I was turning. Everything else was great!

The room was not clean and had a hole in the wall. The beds were hard as rocks and the service was bad.

The mattress wasn't super comfortable, but that's not uncommon. The room was very clean and everybody was friendly. The setup of the hotel however was the problem. On the first floor you're above the parking area so you hear every car that pulls in underneath you, and below the top floor so you hear your upstairs neighbors. Being so close to the beach they didn't have carpeted floors they had vinyl floors, so while the upstairs neighbors wandered back and forth in their room for multiple hours in hard heeled shoes, we got to listen to all of it and anytime they put anything down it sounded like they slammed it.

Absolutely disgusting. The rooms are filthy and in terrible condition. This property should not be allowed to be listed on this platform. Absolutely horrible and unsafe.

All the rooms smell like cigarettes. Even the non smoking ones.

Staying here is defenantly a risk. Drugs being used in and around property. Seems like people casing out the rooms in order to break in. Never open door. Everywhere you go you smell weed in the property. Stayed multiple nights and mostly didn't get sleep feeling unsafe for me and my daughter.

Great property for location literally less than 3 minutes walking to the beach ⛱️ the hotel right in front of us an around the area would have been 2 - 3 times the amount for one night for what we paid for 3 nights very satisfied

Water in sink didn't work

This property is walking distance to the beach, the aquarium and the best restaurant is next door and the staff is friendly, courteous and professional, also the affordability of this property is a bonus !!!

Staff was rude and instead of noon check out they started at 9:30 am knocking on door opening door, even though I didn’t check in until 8:30 pm and no one was waiting on the room

I didn't like anything about it. It was dirty smelled like weed and the most horrific thing was I work up in the middle of the night feeling something biting on me. So I got up and had bite marks all over my body Packed my belongs and left

The room smells HORRIBLE, everything is very old, dirty and moldy, they have no blankets, only 1 sheet. There is NO ice machine, there is no coffee. They give you the key to the room in recycled paper, dirty and torn. They should close this location,the room supposed to be non smoking and still smelled look for a better place to stay. We will never stay there again

For the price it was reasonable, a/c was ice cold, they weren’t any towels in the room but we were able to get some, fridge wasn’t working but wasn’t an issue for my stay and I doubt most of all rooms would have the same issue. Could use some minor updating to the room’s & exterior but decent for the price

Shower curtain was pretty filthy and mirror full of spots shower wall had long hair stuck

The beds were surprisingly cozy. The floor needs to be replaced. But overall very satisfied for the price.

The grossest place I have ever stayed at!!! 156 dlls for one night is not worth it at all!!!! The most disgusting room I have seen mold on the ceiling of the room. Toilet paper covering holes on the bathroom ceiling.

The only thing good about this place is the location, and even that is not great. If I were Expedia I would not want my name associated with this place.

Did not like having to wait outside to be attended. The towels in the room were dirty and stained. We reserved a double queen and got a double full size. And last but not least, there were bed bugs on one of the beds so we had to sleep on one bed!!!

Towels looked old and dirty. Only got one bath towel. A pair of dirty socks left behind the bathroom door. The smell in the room was bad. We left our door open until we laid down.

Checking in they gave me keys to a room someone else was already staying at . I go and tell them , they give me a different room. The rooms have a smell to them floor is not leveled toilets are not secure on the floor they wobble towels are yellow. Ice machine was broken entire stay. Sheets smell like grass

Poor overall condition of exterior, room had moldy odor and of below average condition. Room rate doubled for 4th of July weekend and was not warranted for conditions or demand.

The area is good location but the hotel staff wasn't available at times

The room was terrible was dirty had Fritos on the floor told us they were still cleaning when we got there and there was Fritos on the floor,the beds were leaning to one side the tub was all scratched up the bathroom door wouldn’t open up all the way,the toilet paper was yellow the mirrors were had black spots and they charge 200.00 would not stay there again

The inside lokks nthn like the pics.. the whole bathroom literally was taped up.. toilet moves.. toilet paper holder comes out the wall.. big whole in bathroom door.. alot of the plugs in the room dnt work.. you cant call front desk frm room cuz there are no phones.. hotel need to be shut down..

The room smelled like weed.. the front door wouldn’t close unless I put my body weight against it… the restroom door didn’t have a latch… the bed sheets felt like they didn’t dry all the way and felt sticky… over all horrible place to stay

I loved that it's close to the beach.

Horrible place. Smelled like urine. Very dirty and grimy. Sheets and towels stained and dingy. Cigarette burns in the comforters and holes in the wall. The outside walkways and hallways were filthy. Front desk person was not helpful. The pictures are not recent. The pictures are not a true representation of this place at all!! Beware.

Help was extra friendly

Plugs didnt work, tv djdnt work only one key 350 for additional key. I will never stay there again.

Our stay was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable, friendly staff, and good walking distance to restaurants,Lexington, ,aquarium,stores and beach.

Nice stay

Property was in ok shape. Looked a little run down. Only one ice machine was broken and other visitors were standing outside their rooms late at night shouting and talking. Several lights in rooms were burnt out. Staff was nice and helpful other than lack of ice. Convenient to Lexington, aquariu and places to eat.

I had to wait like 15 minutes before they opened the door to attend us and there was another customer already waiting before me.When we got to the room the floor felt so dirty like it wasn’t swept or mopped and the tub and shower curtain was dirty and had lots of hair.

The water cut off in the middle of my shower. Fridge didn’t work and it leaked. The ice machine didn’t either. Waste management came to empty the dumpsters before 7am, so much for sleeping in.

The positive attribute about Regency Inn is the location and I did get a good deal on the room. However, with no elevator, it's very difficult to access rooms unless you literally have NO luggage whatsoever. They only supply a couple of towels and they are wafer-thin. Water-pressure is great. The current trend of 'no carpeting' in hotel rooms is starting to wear out. Carpeting gives "warmth" to a room, plus it serves as a sound-deadener of sorts. Time to start putting carpet back into hotel rooms. My room in particular had a moldy smell. I carry Lysol, and used a half of a can to overcome the smell. Overall--for the price I paid, it was OK. I wouldn't have paid any more to stay there again, though.

Housekeeping sucks. I walked into the room and it smelled. The sheets were not changed and the shower wasn't cleaned as well. The towels were damp. Housekeeping should be fired. Only good thing was that the bathroom light wasn't working and was taken care of promptly.

Room smelled, floor was still a little dusty and fingerprints all over the mirrors still. There was a little knife stuck in the ceiling. Paid for the one night since it was required but left.

Stayed here bc it was cheap, got what we paid for. When you walk in the room smells like my cats litter box not even exaggerating. I opened one of the drawers in the room under the tv and there was clothes in there from who knows when and a dead roach inside. The front guy harassed us saying we were smoking. I never even brought up anything about how disgusting the room was or how there was mold everywhere or how it smelled so bad bc I was in shock about being accused. Was here for a family emergency low on funds and basically got kicked out. It was insane. I will never stay here and encourage anywhere else to stay here. The curtains are all torn and stained. If you are low on funds, ok but I wouldn’t bring children here.

The room was ok however they were having work done to the rooms above us and had loud banging and drilling all day until 8pm at night. We complained several times but all they did was apologize for the inconvenience. I even took a video so you could here how loud it was. The banging was so bad it knocked the light fixture right off the ceiling. The ice machine, microwave and blow dryers did not work either. We went to relax for the weekend and couldn't even take a nap because of the noise disturbance all day. Would of left but all of the other rooms were double the price or booked so we didn't have a choice but to stay.

It was nothing as the website. Dirty.. moles. Towels and sheets were stand as if they were dirty. The tub had ring around with dirt. The curtains were hanging as if Iwas staying in a falling apart hotel. I did not want to use the bathroom at all. Sorry but this is not a place I’d recommend for anyone. Very disappointed

The room was not cleaned very well there was sand in the shower, a cracker on the floor, towels looked very dingy and not well cleaned. The room had a smell to it almost like dog urine.

Great location & walking distance to the beach. Downfall was cleanliness, odd smell in room not enough towels and almost all the bulbs were out only two lights worked.
